Why Netanyahu Must Continue to Scream over Iran

President Obama has tried phoning and cajoling Prime Minister Netanyahu to silence his criticism of the United States brokered and rammed through over British and French reservations deal with Iran. One might wonder as to what could be so bad that the Israeli Prime Minister is biting the hand that presumably would arm him in case of a war. Well, it might have something to do with the facts about the deal. The fact that the deal does not dismantle or power down a single one of the Iranian eighteen-thousand-plus centrifuges might be one item. The fact that all that was demanded from Iran was a few empty promises and a weak verification regimen might be another. Then there is the only concrete actions demanded by the deal which all fall upon the West and include at least seven-billion dollars of unfrozen funds, opening the trade for Iranian oil to the world and backing off almost every single sanction all in exchange for ethereal wisps of nothingness. Simply put, Prime Minister Netanyahu is protesting and doing so boisterously the fact that the United States pushed a complete and total surrender to Iran on every item which Iran desired while demanding that the West bow before Iran and all but apologize for ever having placed those pesky sanctions on Iran in the first place. But none of this matters as President Obama does not believe that his decision to genuflect before the Iranians and do their bidding rather than actually act as the leader of the free world should be derided by anybody, after all, he is Barack Obama and, as the “one”, he does not need to countenance detractors even if they are the leader of an entire nation. So a somewhat frustrated Barack Obama placed a call to Bibi Netanyahu and suggested rather strongly that perhaps Bibi might consider silencing his unfounded accusations and ridiculous complaints and begin to understand the pressures and the marvels of the great deal that was worked by the great and super-human efforts by President Obama and his Administration. For reasons that likely escape President Obama, Prime Minister of little Israel has decided to ignore the complaints from Washington on high and insists on speaking his mind and deriding the deal as the greatest mistake since Munich 1938.

Prime Minister Netanyahu has a number of reasons to complain vehemently and loudly on the world’s stage over what he and many others believe was one of the worst deals in history and that the thinking behind that deal closely resembled the thinking that led to dragging the great wooden horse inside the walls seeing it as a gift and not a deceit to place a special squad of fighters within the walls which would allow them to open the main gate and defeat the great buttresses of Troy. It is easy presumably for President Obama to see nothing untoward in the deal struck with Iran as he honestly believes as he has stated that Iran can be deterred in exactly the same way the United States has balanced and deterred the Soviets during the Cold War, the Chinese since they became a nuclear power, and that India and Pakistan have deterred each other since they both became nuclear powers despite the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty (NPT). President Obama likely has given no consideration to the fact that Iran has held more than one conference which had as its theme “A World Without Zionism or America”.  Then again, the deal included a promise from Iran that they would not continue research into making international continental ballistic missiles (ICBM). President Obama probably also missed the news that within a few days from the deal being announced that the Iranians made a deal to share research into ICBMs between themselves and North Korea, but would joint research be the same and thus covered by the deal when the two nations, Iran and North Korea, two paragons of virtue, work together as it could be that the Iranians are simply assisting the North Koreans and not retaining any research or schematics and plans for ICBMs for themselves. But why bother President Obama with such trivialities as he has a web site to untangle and make efficient and inviting as every American might be needing to find health insurance through that web site.

Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu is also aware that recent insults and defamations of Israel in a speech made by Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. He claimed among other defamations that, ““Israel is the sinister, unclean rabid dog of the region,” “It came from the mouth of the rabid dog of the region – Israel – that Iran is a threat to the world! No, fake Israeli regime and allies are a threat,” and “Supporting miserable Zionist regime will be a great dishonor to the Europeans.” The Iranian religious leader had equally defaming words about the United States though secondary to his deriding of Israel but should give somebody in America cause to pause. But there is no need to worry as the new Iranian President Rouhani is the newest and greatest moderate that will take Iran in a better direction. Ignore the facts that in his past he was the main deceiver leading the Iranian nuclear negotiations team and was quoted once claiming that the Western negotiators and leaders were easily mislead as they wanted to be deceived and were anxiously waiting to be given a smile and a compliment in order to agree and make any deal, as long as it is a deal. It is almost ironic that Rouhani would be the person leading the Iranian government for as long as the Supreme Leader likes his performance that is the President of Iran when an American President is willing to agree to anything as long as he has his deal and can claim a victory and walk away from at least the Iranian problem, well, except for that loud discontent in Israel insisting on telling the world that the Emperor has no clothes and his deal leaves the Western World just as naked as that emperor. So, Prime Minister Netanyahu, keep right on telling the truth and calling the world to ready for a coming evil leading a conflagration so great and destructive that it will dwarf all the previous conflagrations combined. The world will not welcome the truth but must be made to look beyond the fog they prefer to hide within because the fire of the coming conflagration will dispel that fog and all will be revealed and vulnerable. They told King Leonidas to stop screaming about the coming Persians, told Winston Churchill to stop warning about the Nazis and Adolph Hitler, and they told Ronald Reagan not to refer to the Soviet Union as the “evil empire”, but all these men were proven visionary and dead on correct and I fear that we are seeing another repeat of history. We should also remember all the warnings given by Winston Churchill who coined the phrase “Iron Curtain” and said of Islam, “How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. The effects are apparent in many countries, improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live. A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement, the next of its dignity and sanctity. The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property, either as a child, a wife, or a concubine, must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men. Individual Moslems may show splendid qualities, but the influence of the religion paralyzes the social development of those who follow it.  No stronger retrograde force exists in the world.  Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith.  It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step, and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science, the science against which it (Islam) has vainly struggled, the civilization of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilization of ancient Rome.” What else can one add or ever need to?
