A Look Back at Gaza in Review

The media has been describing the Gaza protesters as heroes fighting against an imperial occupation by a colonial oppressor. To deconstruct this story line takes little effort and just the most simple of truths. Many of these truths used to be common knowledge and were understood by such a majority of the world that the United Nations was in agreement, the League of Nations supported and made Mandates enforcing the needful reality and the world when being redrawn after World War I dealing with the breakup of the losing empires supported the truth by their establishing the return of the Jewish People, all of the Jewish People, to their ancient homelands. The losing empires were the Austro-Hungarian Empire, the German Empire and the Ottoman Empire. The assigning of responsibilities of the lands of the Ottoman Empire is pictured below. The area outlined in red is the most important Mandates defined by the San Remo Conference in 1922 which also incorporated the Balfour Declaration almost word for word into International Law. This will be the next center of our attentions later in this article. The rest of the area became the nations of Northern Africa.

The lands across Northern Africa were divided between the Allied powers of France, Britain, Italy and Spain. The British and French were given Mandates to provide assistance in building much of the Middle East while Turkey retained some of the original Ottoman Empire, Saudi Arabia was granted immediate independence and Iran was already an independent nation which was not part of the Ottoman Empire and remained a free nation which was then known as Persia. In time, all of these areas were granted independence over time establishing much of the Arab-Muslim world as defined in the map below. These nations gained their independence either through revolution such as Algeria while others were simply turned over such as Egypt, Iraq and Jordan (originally Transjordan). All of these nations were decided by the whims of their ruling nations with borders which were largely drawn more or less at random. This has led to many of the problems across the MENA* states as these borders lumped separate and often hostile tribes into single nations and divided some tribes placing their lands inside two bordering nations dividing them thus preventing some peoples from declaring their independence. The most obvious of these peoples are the Berbers who were displaced across Algeria, Libya, Morocco, Nager and Mali; and the Kurdish People who were split into Turkey, Syria, Iraq and Iran.

The two main Mandates were the French and British Mandates pictured below. The French Mandate was to establish the Arab State of Syria and the Christian State of Lebanon. The British Mandate was established to provide two Arab States for the sons of Hussein bin Ali, Sharif of Mecca who had lost his standing, as the Family Saud took over the Holy Cities of Mecca and Medina and had the British promise that his sons would be provided for after World War I in exchange for his tribe’s alliance during the war. They were granted the initial rule as the Kings of Iraq and Transjordan. King Faisal I (Arabic فيصل الأول) was the first King of Iraq while King Abdullah I bin al-Hussein (Arabic: عبد الله الأول بن الحسين‎) was the first King of Jordan. The monarchy was overthrown in Iraq in July of 1958 ending their Hashemite rule while the grandson of the first King of Jordan, Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein (Arabic: عبد الله الثاني بن الحسين‎) is the current ruler in Jordan. There are those who claim that Hashemite rule in Jordan will soon end or become disempowered with a parliament replacing him with a Prime Minister and allowing for new governance. The French Mandate did actually establish the two entities, which had been Syria, as a Muslim State and Lebanon as a Christian State. Over the years the Islamic influence in Lebanon grew with Hezballah, an Islamic terrorist group financed and supplied by Iran and allied with Iran in the Syria Civil War, taking majority of the Parliament; and as their military power rivaling, if not exceeding, that of the Lebanese Army, Hezballah has taken command of the Lebanese Army and rules Lebanon. Thus, the initial intent of the League of Nations and their Mandate system eventually failed and both Lebanon and Syria became Islamic nations with Syria currently a failed state in total conflict and Lebanon threatened by the instability next door.

The remainder of the British Mandate, after Iran was formed and established as a free nation in 1930, left what had initially been lands set aside by the San Remo Conference to form the Jewish State, the entirety of the British Mandate outside of Iraq which would include modern day Jordan. The British still had a promise to keep to install a second Hashemite Kingdom, so they made an agreement with the Zionist Congress, the ruling Jewish governance, to divide the remainder of their lands along the Jordan River with the 78% east of the Jordan to become the Palestinian Arab State under the remaining Hashemite King while the remaining 22% would remain set aside for the future Jewish State and would be guaranteed by the British Crown. Obviously, the British lied, just as they did to the Kurds who they promised a nation and the British gave their lands to the Hashemite King of Iraq in exchange for rights to the Mosul oil fields. This was the border for Israel when it was founded before the Arabs invaded the morning after Israel declared her independence. The Arabs invaded with six armies and a number of militias and mercenaries from other Arab nations, often members of their military who arrived with their weapons including tanks and aircraft in some cases. The war lasted approximately one year with an armistice put in place between Egypt and Israel on January 6, 1949, with Egypt retaining the Gaza region; between Lebanon and Israel on March 23, 1949, with the Blue Line defining the actual permanent border between the nations; between Jordan and Israel on April 3, 1949, with Jordan retaining sections of Judea and Samaria which Israel refers to as the Shomron and Jordan renamed West Bank to remove the Jewish names out of history and then made the Arabs their Jordanian citizens as they annexed these lands illegally and forced a large number of their own citizens and many of the refugees to reside within this newly stolen lands; between Syria and Israel on July 20, 1949, where Syria agreed to withdraw from the area within the areas defined as being Israel to allow for an international zone denying Israel the use of the lands; Iraq withdrew its forces from the region in March 1949 never signing any armistice as they do not share a border with Israel; Saudi Arabia and the Yemeni forces withdrew on February 24, 1949, with an understanding agreement that hostilities had ended which covers the six main armies as well as the Yemeni volunteers. Other forces departed either at the date the national troops they were supporting ended hostilities or even earlier as they saw the war was lost.

Now we come to the current situation with the Palestinian Authority occupying the Shomron which was presumed to be part of the Jewish State by the enforcement of the British Mandate which was also backed by Article 80 of the United Nations Charter and the Hamas terror entity which rules Gaza which Israel withdrew from in August of 2005 leaving it to be ruled by the Palestinian Authority and show the ability of the Arabs to make their state function normally. The Gaza citizens elected Hamas to rule them and Hamas took control from the Palestinian Authority in a violent coup in 2007 where Fatah Party officials were thrown from rooftops of the tallest buildings, place along a wall to be shot or hung from light polls amongst other means of murdering these officials who were unable to escape into Israel and make their way to the Palestinian controlled regions. Since that coup, the region has been ruled by the terror group Hamas and Israel placed their legal and approved by the United Nations blockade such that the Israelis can assure that weapons and military use goods are not transferred into Gaza for Hamas to utilize. The rest of the goods after inspection are sent across the border usually the same day or the next day with exceptions when Hamas terrorists have destroyed the crossing points. The Hamas terrorists who are behind the current protest rioting destroyed the natural gas pipeline supplying Gaza with this fuel and also destroyed the main crossing point at the same time (see image below). This has made transfer of goods impossible and such was the intent of Hamas. Hamas is attempting to destroy a region of the current border fence before Israel completes the new border fence which is designed to be more restrictive and stronger to prevent such violence from succeeding in the future. What has been occurring along the border between Gaza and Israel is nothing short of an attempt at warfare using people as the ammunition to destroy Israel either through breaching the border and massing an attack of thousands of Arabs pouring through with armaments such as knives, machetes, rifles, assault weapons, sidearms or simple clubs sent with the intent of murdering every Jew they reach and destroying Israeli property.

The intent can be best described by the words of Hamas leaders themselves. Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar who has sworn they will “tear out their (Israelis) hearts” as in the video below and at this link and this link. Sinwar further insisted that the Gazans would, “shooting you (Israelis) at point-blank range,” and “eat your (Israelis) liver.” He demanded that they “can’t give up one inch of the land of Palestine,” and “We will take down the border and we will tear out their hearts from their bodies.” This is their political leader who is demanding these things some of which are in the video below while there are many more pictures and videos at the above links.

The Hamas leadership has provided maps on where the closest Israeli civilian centers are located and the quickest route to take to reach these locations as shown below. There can only be one conclusion from these maps and his proclamations, they want their people to break down the border fence and murder Israelis and destroy their property. There is nothing innocent or nonviolent about the Gaza riotous assaults on the Israeli border.

Even Haaretz was forced by reality to post that the Hamas leadership has proudly, on their own television channel, declared that, fifty of the recent sixty-two protesters killed were Hamas operatives and commanders leading the charge of the fence. This report was backed up by NBC News as well. We will defend what we have that remains of our ancestral lands pictured below.

So, why has the world media, specifically the European and leftist mainstream media been so absolutely critical and enraged with Israel defending their border the same as any normative nation would do facing the same threats? Part of the European anger is based on their refusal to protect their borders from the influx of “refugees” from the MENA nations. They wish to demand that Israel become just another dying, soon to become formerly free and democratic nation, as those in much of Western and Scandinavian Europe who have refused to close their borders and protect their own people. They are upset that Israel is reproducing comfortably above replacement rate amongst its Jewish population as well as Christian and other minority populations and that the future for Israel appears to be full of health and productivity. They resent Israel being proud and Jewish instead of apologetic and downtrodden Jews as they remember having had in Europe a century past. They are upset and demand that the Jews go to their deaths timidly and with little bother and absolutely no noise. Israel will not act as the second-class citizen we were forced to live in Europe through the ages and in the Islamic world as Dhimmi over the ages. We have returned to our ancestral home where we resided proudly and had the two Temples, the First Temple built by King Solomon and the Second Temple started after Cyrus the Great allowed the Jews to return home from their Babylonian exile and was completed by Herod the Great. Jewish history is filled with over three-thousand-years of history with much of it recorded in the Old Testament all before the birth of Christianity or Islam. We have a claim to the lands of Israel which predates and extends for longer than either Christianity or Islam has existed. Our Prophets predicted our long awaited return and even mathematically predicted in the year 5708 on the Hebrew calendar which worked out to 1948 on the Gregorian calendar. We are here and prophesy tells us we are back to stay to await the final days when the Messiah will come and the world will be perfected. We will live here proudly but with reverence and humility when we are able but do not ever think that means that we will bow before others. We will give to the world all the discoveries we make in medicine, physics, mathematics, agriculture, chemistry, biology, computers, computing, astronomy and all the sciences and other helpful concepts, ideas, inventions and methods to accomplish wonders. We will be capable of giving the world more wonders if we did not need to support a war time military at all times just to remain in our land and further if we did not lose some of our brightest and most vigorous youth defending from terror threats from all sides and need to build interceptors and shelters to protect from rockets and the potential Iranian threat, particularly should they develop nuclear warheads, something many of us believe they have already accomplished and are currently building.

Meanwhile, things were relatively quiet over Shabbat, but we are talking about relativity here. The question is how long before they attempt their next escalation which may be another attempt at using the Gazan people as the front protective edge of their human battering-ram to breach the border. The next assault could be barrages of rockets into southern Israel and even Tel Aviv. The only guarantee is that Hamas will start another assault before the summer officially arrives and then when they find something which the media is completely sympathetic with, and then they will escalate and escalate until Israel finally responds. Then the media will be all over how Israel attacked Gaza for no reason and without anything which might be considered a provocation warranting an Israeli response. The media writes depicting everything as the Jews, Israelis, must simply take whatever abuses are unloaded upon them. Jews, Israel, are to be timid and suffer whatever wrath is inflicted upon them simply because they are Jews, Israelis. What the world may not be ready to accept should be the Israeli response, as soon as Hamas, Islamic Jihad and the other criminal and terror elements in Gaza pose any direct threat to the Israeli civilians, then Israel should completely disinfect the entirety of the Gaza from terrorist and criminal elements. All the people who are within the Hamas and Islamic Jihad alliance should be swept from Gaza and the people of Gaza offered one chance to elect a governance which accepts Israel. When they decide to elect the lesser Hamas and criminal elements which remain and they then begin forms of attacks on Israel, then the Gaza should be stripped clean entirely and absorbed into Israel. No exceptions should be permitted to the final sweep in Gaza as they elected Hamas initially and should they continue in that direction, then they have no redeemable element and should be treated as such. All foreign news media within Gaza who are not Gazan should be taken into Israel and be debriefed to glean any needed information and then permitted to return to their home nation. Then Gaza can become the glorious vacation haven it potentially could have been for the Gazans had they elected proper leadership.
