Cities on the News Completely Unrecognizable

Filed under: Israel — qwertster @ 1:14 AM

When watching the news, we are witness to a place where nothing makes much sense and most, if not all, of the world has gone insane. Then we go about our daily routines and as we walk mostly near the center of our small community of around seventy-five-thousand citizens, the world has mostly returned to what we remember as normal except for that percentage who insist on signaling how important their health is wearing their masks dutifully. Perhaps our new level of crazies is just more subdued than that of say Portland, Seattle, New York and Chicago. We understand that in the United States our little berg would be a small suburb of some major American city, but our little country is approximately the size, and even somewhat the shape, of the American state of New Jersey.

Still, even Israel has her cities of size of which Haifa, Tel Aviv and, of course, Jerusalem are a few. When violence breaks out here, we have missiles and rockets fired targeting our main civilian areas; but the aim of those initiating the violence is similar, to cause damage, take lives, spread terror and then blame the governance targeted for allowing any and all damage on both sides on their vicious defense of their citizens thus impinging on their self-invented right to destroy the standing civilization and subjecting them under their righteous rule. Perhaps the one critical difference is here in Israel, we have absolutely no doubt what would be the result were our adversaries ever to win just one war against Israel. That, trust us, makes things very real and gives us an appreciation, sympathy, even empathy with those residing within the violent centers and those whose business was ransacked, burnt or otherwise damaged within numerous major cities. We knew these residents and business owners were not the people demanding less police and less community policing starting with those programs designed for police-community constructive interactions. They would demand more funds for police to have even more interactive programs including some which provide for alternatives to gangs.

This is the part of the article where we presume to provide some semblance of a solution. Well, were we capable of actually providing such a solution, we would be receiving the Nobel Peace Prize; providing President Biden, Vice President Harris and Climate Czar John Kerry have received their Nobel Peace Prize for preventing the end of the Earth at least past the end of this century, if not permanently. We have heard some in the United States call for religion as the solution while here we try to leave religion out of discussions with those causing the violence against Israel. That actually gives us one advantage against the numerous religious obstacles for peaceable discourse, that is the offer of financial gain and a healthier life. One need but drive through the Arab communities within Israel and in the Palestinian Authority area and one will find relative wealth while if they were able to tour Gaza they would see two very different societies, one of extravagance and one of destitution. We have no solution here as our enemies refuse to not only never allow a permanent peace but also will never give up their desire to murder every Jewish person in the world starting with Israel. This was iterated in the original Hamas Charter, or at least one of the earliest renditions. We also have no solution for the United States before 2024 and the Presidential Election.
