UNESCO Continues the Lies

UNESCO, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, recently proclaimed a historic revelation that the Jewish People have no historic connection to the Temple Mount. This is the Temple Mount where Herod extended the area building the modern walls in order to enlarge the area such that the Temple he built, the Second Temple, would stand in a large plaza making the building and its environs more grand. This is the same Mount Moriah where Solomon constructed the First Temple which was a wonder of the world of that era. This is the area which overlooked the city of David which is currently being archeologically and meticulously excavated and where numerous findings of ancient Jewish history from the First Temple era many providing proof almost word for word what was written in the Old Testament (see video below). But all this Jewish historical stuff is of no concern to the modern world of men of study and the deciders of truth, the new truth which bears an uncanny similarity to the “Big Lie” sold by the Nazi Propaganda Minister Joseph Goebbels that the Jews have no real history and that by disowning the Jew the world would be free and all would become right with the world under the leaders of the Third Reich.

But who are the members and the ruling deciders of this great human endeavor known as UNESCO? The Organization claims to include have 195 Members and 10 Associate Members. A listing in alphabetical order can be found here and for the record they include Israel as a member state as well as Palestine. Looking a bit deeper into the organizations we find it had numerous field offices set up to oversee regional interests. There is one in Khartoum which oddly enough does not decide anything for Africa where the Sudan is located but instead decides for the Arab States. As a matter of fact, there are a large number of regional offices which are dedicated to the Arab States including one in the vicinity of Israel, Ramallah. There is no regional office in Jerusalem or Tel Aviv nor does any regional office list Israel amongst the nations they are responsible for looking out for her interests. Israel appears to be the sole nation in the world for whom no representation is provided in UNESCO, but my bet is they would claim that they are covered by the offices for Europe.

The offices for Europe are listed as covering Europe and North America and are located in these cities; Brussels, Geneva, New York and Venice. Our bet is that if one were to inquire as to whether any of these field offices is responsible for Israel their immediate answer would be no, that is part of the Middle East, and then perhaps look up in some book and reply, wait, it does say we are responsible for Israel in here, who knew? Just for the record, there are no offices responsible for the Middle East and all offices which one might suspect would be are instead labeled Arab States in order to separate their coverage of the Middle East and North Africa to include every state except Israel, specifically except Israel. Perhaps that explains why they are unaware of any Jewish claims, when Israel tries to protest they tell them to bring that up in their regional office of which they have none. Israel is not directly represented in UNESCO, which is the plain and simple truth. As Israel has no representation through any field office, there are no Jewish State interests which UNESCO could be said to cover or even hear about. This is nothing new to anybody following the machinations of UNESCO who will remember their insistence on admitting the country of Palestine and setting up a field office for now in their current temporary capital of Ramallah. The generous people at UNESCO also recognized that there is no Jewish history or attachment to Jerusalem, the Cave of the Patriarchs where Abraham and Sarah, Isaac and Rebecca, Jacob and Leah are buried and is located within a large rectangular Herodian-era Judean structure which has been since modified to sort of resemble a Saladin-era mosque.

The recording of this plot is in the Old Testament, the Torah, stated that Abraham bought the Cave of Machpelah as a burial place for his wife Sarah, Abraham did not argue or haggle on the price paying well above market price for this cave with the field of Ephron the Hittite outside Hevron. Abraham weighed to Ephron the silver, which he had named in the audience of the sons of Heth, four hundred shekels of silver. Abraham paid for the land and cave using foreign monies such that the cave and field were not bought with Canaanite currency thus it could not be claimed that Abraham was in any way just another Canaanite thus reinforcing a distinction Abraham made all his days that he was of a different people than those amongst whom he resided. Abraham even took care to find Isaac a wife from outside Canaan and from a member of the tribe, the family from which Abraham was descended, Laban, the son of Nahor, Sarah’s brother. This was the extent of Abraham specifying his separateness in Canaan for he had been told by Hashem that he was to be the father of a new tribe which was to be separate from all the existing tribes. Such was the beginning of the Israelites whose tribes of Judah and Benjamin and their Priestly class became known as Judeans and eventually simply Jews.

Back to UNESCO we find that Israel National Commission for UNESCO is listed, believe it or not, as a part of Europe and North America as their overseeing body. One can only wonder how that has been working out for Israel. Wait, we can attest to that, horribly. Piece-by-piece Israel is being parceled out of existence. The Cave of Machpelah, Kever (tomb) Yosef, Kever (tomb) Rachel, Temple Mount, Western Wall and other Jewish religious sites from antiquity, as distinct from Islam by approximately a thousand years have all been determined to be Islamic shrines, mosques, structures and their histories altered to match the Quranic version of the world. The Western Wall built by Herod in the times prior to the modern Western calendar was determined to have been built, likely by magic, just for Muhammad to get off his magical steed (horse) in order to mount another magical steed (also a horse) to fly into Heaven. One can only wonder why the steed which brought him from the regions of Mecca and Medina to Jerusalem and back within one night and leaving time for the other steed to take him on a journey where he spoke with every prophet, whose names Muhammad remembered from living amongst Jews and Christians, was unable to fly the entire distance using one magical steed. Also, Muhammad presumably traveled to Jerusalem which had the farthest mosque, the al-Aqsa Mosque, which was not built until 705 CE, many years after Muhammad had died and if his trip was to the farthest mosque even if not yet built, then why did he not fly to the al-Aqsa Mosque in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States? So many queries and so little time, and this one I know not the answer unless he actually went to the farthest mosque of the time which was some ninety miles north of Medina. More questions and we have no answers, how sad.

Israel has come to understand UNESCO as well as the numerous other United Nations affiliated organizations and committees. There is the special place Israel has ensconced itself in the Human Rights Council which more often than not adopts some resolution at the majority, some have stated all, of their meetings no matter the reason the meeting was called. It is so nice to be appreciated (sarcasm alert) by some of the warmest and most just of UN committees. Sometimes we wonder for what reason is Israel even a member of the UN. Israel has never served on the Security Council and there had been plans for Israel to be the European and North American representative until Germany decided they wanted another turn. It still remains to see which country will be chosen through the United States, Mexico, Canada, Britain and the European Union members. Germany would be the safer of bets but weirder events have transpired in the past, so we will see. Taking the many tentacles of the UN and its two main bodies, the Security Council and the General Assembly, and peruse through their archives and one would be amazed at the frequency with which Israel is the topic of discussion and if not Israel then Jerusalem or any of the myriad of Israelite holy sites which are always defined as having no Jewish roots despite full knowledge of their true origins being of the Jewish Israelite people.

To tell it as a story, imagine a visitor from another solar system would be given access to the UN records from all the various major agencies. They would likely average a guess that Israel is one of the most aggressive and threatening nations which has size, geographic area, military might and great resources in order to garner so much attention. Israel must be attempting to control the entire world and is literally squashing all who get in her path. Such a visitor when shown a map of the unfortunate Arab states which are all feeling so threatened from the nation of Israel located centrally within their area would suspect of seeing that these Arab nations must be a collection of smaller states which all neighbor Israel and are under near constant border trespass and are under great duress. Imagine their shock when shown the map of the Arab states and Israel and they are shown the map below. Their laughter and complete loss of understanding and complete incongruity would be amusing if it were not a situation so turned on its head. The Arab nations plus Iran are not threatened directly, indirectly or in any other way by Israel except that they have defined the mere existence of Israel as a mortal threat to their understanding of the world. But they also believe they are the rulers of the world and that the entire world should bend to their slightest of desires. The visitor would leave Earth fully believing that a full third tf not two thirds of the peoples on the planet they had visited were exhibiting some form of mental delusional sickness. They would be correct and the disease is known as creeping anti-Semitism. That is the truth behind so much and we would be hard pressed to find any other reason for Israel being the main target of every form of investigation of criminal acts by nations of the world. How else can the imbalance be explained as no nation could ever be as evil as Israel is portrayed and be so diminutive in size and still manage not to be crushed by one of the larger and more militarily powerful nations. This parting map tells the size story in its entirety.

There can not be a celebration of Israeli Independence Day without an Arab Palestinian commemoration of Naqba Day, the day of catastrophe. Taking the most cursory look these two days will always have to be observed on the same day but have completely separate views of the events from the day Israel declared their existence and what actually occurred. Israelis celebrating Independence Day are joyously remembering the declaration by David ben Gurion signifying the resurrection of an ancient land birthing its new incarnation for the modern day that would celebrate, honor, and reconstruct the ancient customs and traditions of the Jewish nations from two thousand to three and a half thousand years in history while incorporating those items from antiquity into a modern state where technology, scientific developments at the cutting edge of modern research also exist, ancient farming mixed with modern discoveries in order to produce the highest quality crops possible, and a blend between all that was with the hopes for what can be. The celebration of the declaration of this new and brave mix of challenges with promises of renewed hopes while fulfilling the prophesies of antiquity making a blend which melds items which should clash over anachronisms yet are smelted together forming something new and wonderful. Israeli Independence Day is the celebration of the realization of a people of their collective dream which has waited almost two-thousand-years to come to fruition.

The commemoration by the Arabs of Naqba Day are mourning not only the coming into existence of the Jewish State but also the inability of the invading Arab armies allied with the Palestinian Arabs to squash the nascent Jewish state and commit a genocidal massacre of the Jews while destroying their hopes. The Armies from Jordan, Egypt, Syria, Iraq, and Lebanon combined with the organized militias under the Mufti of Jerusalem with additional units coming from as near as Saudi Arabia all the way to as far as Yemen and Algeria in an all-out military push to utterly destroy every vestige of the new state of Israel. The war to extinguish the nascent state of Israel continued through cease-fires for over a year before the fighting was finally permanently halted with the front-lines as of the exact hour the cease-fire order passed became the 1949 Armistice Lines also known as the Green Line. The Naqba commemorates the simple truth which had sent shockwaves throughout the Arab and Muslim worlds; the little Jewish state of Israel had managed to resist the onslaught by these combined Arab forces against all the odds and stood defiantly holding more land at the close of the conflict than they held at the onset. The catastrophe was that despite massive odds and facing overwhelming military superiority of those forces gathered against them, the newly declared Israelis managed to initially hold out and eventually to push back and by the end of the conflict was routing the combined Arab forces. This impossible loss and the fact that Israel survived and the Israeli Jews remained and were not vanquished in a glorious slaughter reminiscent of Mohammed’s slaughter of the Jews of the Banu Qurayzah Tribe in the year 627 was the reason for the catastrophe, the Naqba, in the eyes of the Arabs, particularly the native Arab populations who had been promised all the wealth, possessions, lands, properties and all else that belonged to the Jews once they had been completely vanquished.

Another misconception concerning the reasons behind the whole concept of the Naqba was the Jews had pushed the Arabs from their towns, farms, homes and properties forcing them into refugee camps where they and their descendants continue to languish today. Some have gone as far as to claim that the Jews when declaring the state of Israel call upon their fellow Jews to rise and expel the Arabs and all other non-Jews from their midst and this was the impetus which caused the combined Arab armies to arrive to rescue the native Arabs from the planned Jewish slaughter. There was no organized extermination of Arabs conducted by the Jewish forces defending the nascent state of Israel. There is some truth to the claims that Jewish forces pushed Arabs from their lands, homes and possessions but most were usually committed due to security purposes. When Israeli units passed by Arab towns they originally attempted to bypass them and not interact. Should the residents attack the Jewish units then these towns were cleared in order to prevent an enemy force to gather behind the front lines of the Jewish forces. After having some towns attempt to allow these Jewish units to pass and then use a tactic of following them and engaging them from behind once the troops became engaged with the Arab front lines. This resulted in great danger and difficulties and resulted in the Jewish troops finding it necessary to at the least remove the fighting age males from any Arab town in order to keep a secure rear area free of antagonists. Even with this added situation, these removals proved to be fairly minor in scope with the vast majority of refugee Arabs resulting from the Arab population’s response to the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem making a request for all Muslim Arabs to pick-up their families and move them to safety behind the attacking Arab forces. This was requested so that the advancing Arab forces could concentrate on simply shooting everybody they would meet simply assuming that all the Arabs had fled as told. In return for clearing the area so the Arab armies could have free-fire zones the Arabs were promised a generous share in the spoils of the conquest to come. The defeat of the Arab armies meant that these Arabs were cut-off from their homes and properties when the fighting ended. Despite an invitation to return to their property had they chosen to do so being extended by the Jewish ruling body, the Arabs were prevented from returning to their towns, farms, homes and belongings and were instead forced by their own brother in arms from the Arab armies into refugee camps where they became political pawns in a campaign of lies and distortions in order to work to destroy Israel.

So, the Naqba is less a result of action by the Jews and Israel unless you were to find fault in the Israelis defending themselves. What the Arab demonstrators commemorating the Naqba within Israel will never bother to tell the world is that their forbearers were among the Arabs who did not take up arms against their fellow Israelis just because they were Jews. Their parents, grandparents or great-grandparents remained on their farms or in their homes or possibly even fought alongside their Jewish neighbors helping to save the nascent state of Israel and remained within Israel with full rights and privileges as a citizen of Israel. Their main complaint concerning the Naqba was likely their regret that friends, family and acquaintances that fled at the request of the Mufti of Jerusalem were betrayed by their fellow Arabs and ended up being forced into refugee camps in the surrounding Arab lands. The vast majority of the Arabs incarcerated into the refugee camps found themselves in Jordan, Syria, Egypt, Lebanon, and other Arab countries but there were no Arab refugees within the borders of Israel at the end of the fighting. No Arab refugee was denied citizenship in Israel, was denied decent housing in Israel, was refused a decent education by Israel, or was imprisoned behind barbed wire by Israel. These conditions were imposed by their brother Arabs who refused to allow them to return to their residences inside Israel despite the invitation which was initially extended by the Israelis. It was not until after time had passed and the Arab expatriation of their Jewish populations which within ten years of the founding of Israel had caused the immigration of over three-quarters of a million Jewish refugees entering and being absorbed by Israel. This is the reason that today there are no camps with Jewish refugees in Israel and the Israeli population consists of Sephardic Jews in near even numbers as there are European Ashkenazi Jews. Meanwhile the unfortunate Arab generations which have grown-up inside permanent refugee camps have served their purpose of extending the fiction of the Naqba caused by the Jews while suffering an Arab imposed catastrophe. Oddly enough, there are Arab refugee camps which exist today in Area A of the West Bank and within Gaza who are within areas under the complete political, security and physical control of Palestinian leadership, one group under the rule and restrictions by the Palestinian Authority while the other are under the rule and restrictions by Hamas. If either of these presumed defenders of the Palestinian Arab people would commit a simple act of decency by granting these refugees citizenship, they could relieve these tens, if not hundreds, of thousands of Palestinian refugee’s sufferings. Since the refugee camps consist of cement block apartments, all that would be required is granting them citizenship for these Palestinian refugees in their respective Palestinian societies which are already ruled by Palestinian leaders and their refugee status and demeaned lives would be transformed immediately to free citizens within an area of Palestinian autonomy. Now their condition being perpetrated any longer qualifies as a true Naqba.

What are Leftists so Scared of at Ir David Dig?

The Ir David dig is the private archeological excavations at the site of the City of David. This privately funded research has unearthed numerous interesting discoveries as well as the standard artifacts, potteries, utensils, and similar artifacts. The recent attempts to bring a halt to the research and digging at the site through the court system has spurred MK Yisrael Hasson (Kadima) to propose a law before the Knesset that would formerly legalize private, not-for-profit archeological excavations in an attempt to put an end to the over-the-top hysteria over this one particular site. Now, a group of 150 archaeologists and students sent a petition to Environment Minister Gilad Erdan and Sport and Culture Minister Limor Livnat asking them to drop their support for this law claiming it will allow for the politicization of archeology in Israel. They claim that “privatization of archaeology” would be the death knell of archaeology in Israel. This is hyper-hysteria as there are already numerous private digs being operated currently and such has been the case for as long as many can remember. What is disturbing is this entire dust-up began only recently as the research at the City of David dig has revealed some artifacts that, surprisingly enough, have proven enlightening and to affirm some of the history written in the Bible. Apparently, this automatically transforms this research from being scientific into some form of political activism as it has shown that there really were Jews and Jewish Kings and Priests and an actual City of David, and this is something these leftists cannot allow to see the light of day.

Normally, something like this I might let pass as it does not, on the surface, appear to be a story with much of an implication beyond those concerns of a few academics and history enthusiasts, but this time it just rang a bell as being the perfect story to reveal the hatred and complete disdain for anything of true and pure Jewish heritage that so infuriates the leftist Jews who always want to apologize for their Jewish existence. This whole affair really begs the question of what is it the Leftists are so scared of that might come from this actually wonderful research being carried out at a truly historically important Jewish, yes, I dare say it again, Jewish site? The actions of these leftists wishing to prevent any proof of Jewish attachment to the land of Israel are absolutely baffling. These are the same people who will demonstrate at the drop of a hat for the rights of the make-believe “Palestinian people” but will move heaven and earth, or not move earth in this case, to prevent any historical or, and this is their worst fear, religious binding to Eretz Yisroel of the Jewish people. These are the same people who will claim in highest indignation that the lands of Judah have no connection to Jews. Where do they think the word Jew comes from if not the tribe of Judah and the lands occupied by said tribe since the end of the Exodus is beyond me.

The attempts to close down this one archeological dig at Ir David failed in the courts, yet that did not slow down the assault by the left. You simply reword your complaint and back to the courts. Eventually, this tactic will bankrupt those you are attempting to prevent and that alone will stop their abhorrent actions. So, as they were revving up for their next assault, a Minister of the Knesset saw reason and proposed a law to prevent their continued harassment. Oh the pain and suffering this must have caused in the coffee shops in central Tel Aviv. The angst, the gnashing of teeth, the foaming rage, how dare anybody use the rule of law against the masters of legal lynching. When this law passes its final reading, hopefully in the nearest possible future, expect challenge upon challenge to be brought before the Israeli High Court until this evil law, which will allow research proving that the Israelites were a real people who lived in these lands, is ruled to be the affront to sensibilities it truly must be. How can any responsible leftist allow something to continue that might upset their Arab allies and actually prove that Jewish is more than an evil title they are ashamed to be labeled with.

Get over it and try just once to understand that those religious Jews in the funny clothing are practicing their ancient and truly enlightened religion in the land of its birth, the land promised to them and, somewhat unfortunately, to you by a higher power. Another little fact you may find troubling is that the settlers are residing in their ancestral areas and Judea and Samaria were and should remain as part of historic and modern Israel and not be used to form some mythical place that’s sole purpose will be a base from which to kill you and other Jews. And, as much as it might pain you and your distaste for anything more Jewish than speaking Hebrew, the Jewish people belong to this land and the land belongs to the L-rd our G-d who has tasked us to care for His land and has instructed us that it is not to be divided up by man. Learn and live with it.
