Some Advised Israeli Future Military Adjustments from the Recesses of Our Minds

Yesterday we covered a less than perfect world, perfect Israeli response to establish defensible borders when given the opportunity complete with resources they could coordinate with to insure the solutions would approach perfect. Those were more fantasy though eventually Israel will be forced by security necessity to either retake or simply make the Jordan River their eastern boundary and whatever Arabs residing in Judea and Samaria will be presented with four choices. The first is to have their properties, businesses and other permanent structures and inventory they are not taking with them plus a sizeable stipend and free transit using first class transportation to any location they choose and willing to receive them. Second choice is apply and go through a series of steps in order to become Israeli citizens with full benefits and rights. Third choice is to remain with their lands, business and other holdings taking up the equivalence of foreign resident which will avail them full protections and ability to live and carry out their business but not permitted the right to vote. The advantage of such is they could apply to move to any Arab nation without having to explain their Israeli citizenship which otherwise might make such a move or visitations far more difficult. They would also be permitted to apply to other nations for citizenship despite their lack of actual residence. The fourth choice would be to demand they are Palestinians and refuse Israeli sovereignty and intend to continue the fight to liberate Palestine from the River to the Sea. These gently folk and the hierarchy and known terrorist and their families will be invited to depart Israel and never return and arrangements will necessarily be made for a nation to voluntarily receive them or perhaps they can join the Syrian refugees in Europe.

All these things aside, what could Israel look into which would greatly enhance their defensive abilities beyond those items which are known to be being researched and tested? It is already well documented and known that the Iron Dome has proven to be beyond belief or expectations. That is an unbelievably successful system against shorter range rockets. The Arrow intercept systems are already in use but thankfully not recently tested, and we hope it remains that way. David’s Sling is another ballistic missile interceptor being tested and implemented while improvements and software upgrades are always being tested and applied. The one area which has had some questions raised recently has been the reliance of the fifth generation F-35 JSF (Joint Strike Fighter) on programming upgraded and adjustment required before and after every mission, each flight whether training or actual military mission as reported by Caroline Glick. This places the viability and even use of every single F-35 JSF for missions in jeopardy as it could be prevented from performing a mission if the United States disapproved having their top flight fighter/bomber/interceptor/air superiority jets be susceptible to the whims of the United States. What if the United States should, which seems inevitable, have another President who disapproves of Israel or even, as apparently President Obama has felt, one who actively disapproves of Israel viewing them as the problem in the Middle East and the source of all the United States problems in the area if not the world and decides to ground the entire fleet of Israeli F-35 JSF aircraft. Israel is apparently stuck with the J-35 JSF for the near future and as suggested by some should also look into designing and building their own stealth aircraft fifth generation fighter with India which both could also sell as a competitor to the other such aircraft. As suggested, the airframe from the Lavi fighter could be utilized as the skeleton for such an aircraft as it is a known viable airframe and would simply need the correct skin applied to make it fully stealthy and with Israeli avionics it would be a match to any other fifth generation fighter. But Israel needs to go beyond just fifth generation into uncharted grounds, go into uncharted grounds taking air systems into a new area and manner of usage.

Israel has been amongst the leaders in drone development with drones across the spectrum of sizes, uses, ranges and about every other variance. These need to be developed further where drones can replace manned flight systems with remotely controlled systems with some degree of autonomy such that they can fly while each aircraft monitoring the aircraft in its area of operation with it communicating with the other drones such that in a military flight the drones would not waste their supply of missiles and armaments. These drones could be flown from the ground stations in areas around the borders of Israel in purely defensive mode intercepting incoming rockets, missiles or aircraft of any nature from human flown fighter/bombers to other drones either under automated control or human piloting. Offensive flights which would cover great distances and required human intervention and flying could be controlled from other aircraft lagging a set average distance behind. This control craft could hold multiple drone control stations thus controlling an entire flight of drones for a mission. For larger missions there would be multiple control craft controlling their drones with the systems using frequencies and coding such that no two drones would receive conflicting commands. These would be drones which were replacing manned fighter/bombers. There could be another form of drones which would be basically flying munitions similar to the cruise missile only smaller and with different delivery systems with a variety of capabilities to fit every type of mission. The strangest we can imagine would be a propeller driven craft which has a large wingspan allowing high altitude flight and a long and slender profile body with slender tail fins which would guide this on its final trajectory. Once this drone reached its intended target airspace would check with certain geographic markers and orient itself properly and drop from its wide wings becoming a projectile guided steel rod about twenty feet long weighing about seventy pounds dropping from an altitude of over sixty-thousand feet aimed at an armored bunker using pure kinetic energy to destroy and penetrate virtually any bunker. Just our idea, a fantasy you might say, not that I know of such a drone or other weapon, just dreaming.

Israel needs to go beyond what other nations go with innovation and development taking things at least one generation ahead of any of the arms of its potential adversaries. Israel has to find ways to make its skies safe from any attack, missile, mass rockets, manned aircraft or any drone attacks from single small high altitude to mass attack of large rocket armed drones. Israel should even look into man aimed rocket interceptors which can be used to intercept any threat along with self-guided interceptors as each has their use. While the self-guided missiles are fantastic, they are not as effective against low flying cruise missiles which are capable of terrain hugging trajectories and are far more difficult to hit with autonomous controlled interceptors which would be where human controlled missiles would work with higher efficiency. Israel should develop drone armor units, drone mobile artillery and drone soldier units with human control and integrated cooperation permitting every user/controller able to see at their station a composite view of the entire field of battle coordinated from ground and aircraft drones and a composite produced by a systems central processing and graphic interface which will produce a high definition representation of the entire battlefield with denoting system indicators identifying where all Israeli and friendly units are located and also where known enemy units are and where other enemy units are suspected of being located. Israel has to have the most advanced and infallible military systems and more highly developed intelligence such that no attack has a better than five percent chance of striking or invading Israeli ground, airspace or seas and waterways.

What is the most fascinating of truths is despite Israel having a military which could have decisively ended the Syrian civil war as soon as it started in response at any time for shelling border positions, but they refrained. When Hamas and Islamic Jihad were launching five, ten, twenty and even fifty rockets a day with some reaching close to Tel Aviv, the Israeli response was to place their limited Iron Dome intercepting over ninety percent of those falling within an Iron Dome range of coverage. When the numbers crossed one-hundred-plus rockets each day, Israel finally organized and set a line, a line much stronger than an Obama Red Line, while organizing troops which one would believe might get the attention of the leaders of Hamas and Islamic Jihad and perhaps bring an end to the rockets. The thing is that these leaders and their top supporting leadership and friends with their families and with their own families if they are even present as many were residing in safety in Qatar are all well protected in their underground bunkers or their safest command bunker in the basement of the largest hospital in Gaza City. They simply increased the number of rockets guaranteeing Israeli intervention and as soon as the first tank shell was fired into Gaza the world and its media, especially in Europe, went absolutely bonkers starting the chanting of the call for the day, “Israel is guilty of using disproportional force and had killed more in Gaza than have died in Israel.” They all but asked where were the dead Jews in every interview with Israeli officials.

What nation with the military capabilities of Israel would wait until over one-hundred rockets a day were being launched into their cities and surrounding areas before responding? How long would England sit still and not launch an all-out assault if Sweden was launching a dozen missiles a day every day for a month, would it take England more than two or three days before launching an air attack to end the rockets being fired at them? Any nation would, but when Israel does so after waiting beyond all imagination to respond largely because of their defensive ability to mute the effects; still the United Nations immediately, as Israel makes their first responding fire, goes into emergency sessions and denounces Israel while having ignored the rocket assaults on Israel for well over six months while it slowly escalated. The world is in a tizzy about Israel actually having the gall to protect her citizens from Arab assaults with knives, vehicles, firebombs and large rocks hurled at passing cars. The world is upset that Israel had the audacity to actually shoot at people who are stabbing everybody within reach and sometimes after ramming the sidewalk and bus stop jumping from the vehicle, one such incident using their company car from the Israeli telecom company for whom the Arab was employed, and attacking one of the people you struck with your car with a hatchet and continuing along the sidewalk attempting to chop people in the chest or neck and even after being shot continuing with the attack and after another shot still lunging at people until being shot repeatedly and still trying to lunge at people until they passed out. What was even more miraculous was immediately after the person shot stopped being a threat the person who fired the first three shots of five or six total shots striking the attacker went to apply first aid as he was also a medic. Then a Magen David Adom rushed the attacker to a hospital where they attempted to revive the attacker who died due to his wounds.

The question is whose responsibility is it that this man died? Was it the person who fired the critical shot? Those first three shots had not prevented him from continuing his assaults and had he stopped and surrender at that point he would likely be alive today. Somewhere during the last three shots he passed the point where he was going to survive. As it turns out, the vast majority of the recent stabbing assailants have told others including their parents of their intention of trying to murder as many Israelis in predominantly Jewish areas so as to murder Jews and that they will not stop until they are dead and they were then encouraged and told what a wonderful thing they were planning to do and family members celebrated as they know in their society they will receive honors and a stipend, a reward payment from the government due to their relative’s actions. That is the reality of the stabbing and vehicular assaults which are still being perpetrated daily in Israel though the media has ended their coverage as it is now treated by the media as normal.

Rockets, stabbings, vehicles, hatchets, firebombs, rocks and a governance which encourages its own citizen to attack their neighboring nation promising to pay a reward stipend for as long as they are able. The governance uses their social media, entertainment, television, radio, schools, religious services, and even name streets, parks, schools, soccer fields, auditoriums, parades, youth facilities, swimming pools, summer camps and virtually everything they can with the names of the greatest terrorists who murdered the most innocent people. If the United States were facing fifteen, twenty, thirty or more attacks and ten or more fatalities weekly from a Native American Reserve that reserve would be subsumed by the United States Marines within a week if that was what it would take. The world would not even raise a whisper against that act. Israel reacts similarly and the leaders of the United Nations and European Union go apoplectic gasping for breaths, enraged, spiting fire and denunciations, and calling for Prime Minister Netanyahu’s and Defense Minister Ya’alon’s heads on a pike. Then they would decide the penalty Israel would need to pay to soothe the anger from those self-same leaders who instigated the attack as they felt slighted as they did not get to lop off the heads themselves. Yet they are the leaders whose hands must never be soiled nor have the truth affect as those are the rules of the United Nations and all of its loyal followers, NGOs, Agencies and Human Rights Groups. Anyone else desiring to pile on Israel as no amount of detestations, cruel accusations, and just pure make-believe, lies and grand rakes of woe which originate from projection and anti-Zionism, anti-Israeli, or anti-Semitism one may prove to suffer from.

These attacks Israel appears to be woefully unprepared to respond to or perhaps they respond but nobody listens and it seldom if ever gets reported. Israeli restraint is the least recognized, most overlooked, unappreciated, disregarded, completely discounted and demeaned as a mirage as Israel eventually acts and that is the only item that matters. The media understands that nobody expects the Arabs, especially Hezballah, Hamas, Fatah, al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades, Islamic Jihad, al-Qassam Brigades or any Arab force attacking Israelis even if they are Arabs with Israeli citizenship, to behave in a modern developed world sense of way as they are from a society deserving of liberal pity while the Jews are reviled for their surviving and regaining their ancestral homelands so the world will carve piece by piece every square inch of her land granting any other claim which depletes Israel of her lands. The surrender of Gaza was the initial get the foot in the door scenario, Forcing Israel back within the Green Line or as close as possible a line as half of Jerusalem with the Temple Mount and the rest of the old city and all the other almost beyond numbers of Holy Sites which will be coopted as Mosques, destroyed or directed by UNESCO to be a Muslim Holy Site thus removing any Jewish claim will be next. If that works, then the next will be the Bedouin claim to the Negev Region and on and on. The whole future and what it will be is plain to see unless you are one of the too numerous blinkered Ministers of the Knesset who mostly refuse to see or are on the other side. As was said way back in 1546 by John Heywood, which still holds true today;

None are so blind as those who are too blind to see.

What Could Accusations of Apartheid & Genocide Provoke?

The accusations which originate largely from Western nations, the NGOs they finance and echoed by every human rights group as well as the United Nations General Assembly, the United States State Department and its highest superior, President Barack Obama, plus the European Union and the many Arab nations and organizations are that Israel has an Apartheid society which denies Arab Palestinians there rights within Israel’s recognized sovereign territory as well as within the contested regions. Many also echo and hold fast to claims of ethnic cleansing of Arab Palestinians and even of committing genocidal persecutions against the Arab Palestinians despite all the evidence, facts, proofs and investigations which have universally proven that no such acts are in any way, shape or form a part of Israeli governance or programs and interactions with the Arab Palestinians. The claim that the Arab Palestinians not only were excluded from voting in the recent Israeli elections are absolutely ridiculous as the Arab Palestinians are not Israeli citizens nor are the for the largest part even under Israeli civil or even military control and only have their two main areas, Area A and Area B.

Those Areas under Arab Palestinian civil and largely security control are seldom entered by any Israeli security without first informing and receiving permission from the Arab Palestinian Authority with the sole exception of an actual pursuit of a terror suspect, and I am using the word ‘suspect’ in a very loose manner as the ‘suspect’ was witnessed performing the violent criminal assault, taking security personnel into Area B which Israeli security are permitted to enter to enforce laws in conjunction with the Arab Palestinian Authority under the Oslo Accords. The reason the Arab Palestinians have not voted since 2006 has to do with Mahmoud Abbas refusing repeatedly first in 2009 and again in 2012 and most recently last year after the formation of the unity governance agreement between Fatah, Hamas, Islamic Jihad and whatever other entities were to be included in the new and improved all-encompassing and unifying all the Arab factions into a single government unifying Gaza with their areas in Judea and Samaria (West Bank) and by the agreement there were to be elections within months of the agreement. Abbas knows that should there be an election and no matter how many Gazan might refuse to back Hamas or Islamic Jihad, they are equally unlikely to support him and the vast majority of his own Fatah and Arab Palestinian Authority subjects would vote for Haniyeh from Hamas instead. Abbas realizes that as soon as he loses power and is no longer protected by the security force currently assigned to keep him alive, that his life would not be worth a single Agora let alone a Shekel and that his sole hope for survival after any elections would be to be in Tel Aviv when the final counts are delivered. That is why the Arab Palestinians have not been permitted to vote in an election for almost a decade.

As for the Apartheid claims, there exist approximately 1,688,600 Arab citizens of Israel which make up around 20.7% of the total population with 6,119,000 Jews making up 75.0% of which the Haredi make up 9.9% of the population numbering 750,000 and others which include Christians, Baha’I, Buddhists, Hindus and others numbering 349,700 making up 4.3% of the total population and all get to vote in Israeli election, hold office in the government, hold jobs, own businesses, own land, ride on busses and trains taking any seat they desire and any discrimination which may exist in any direction is illegal and would be investigated and adjudicated in the courts in which there are Arabs serving as judges at all levels. Probably the best two examples are Haneen Zoabi, an Arab Christian who claims to be a Palestinian and demands that Israel be replaced by Palestine and that the Jews including her fellow Ministers in the Knesset owe her thanks for her permitting them to live in her lands, and Ahmad Tibi, who served as a political advisor to Palestinian Authority President Yasser Arafat from 1993 to 1999 before returning to live in Israel and became a Minister in the Knesset despite his position in what can only be described as an adversarial organization as a close confidant with its founder and leader until his death, as well as Masud Ghnaim, Yousef Jabareen, Ayman Odeh, Osama Saadi, Aida Touma-Suleiman, Abd al-Hakim Hajj Yahya, Jamal Zahalka, and Zouheir Bahloul who were all part of the Arab Group which was made up of various Arab, Druze, Bedouin and other mostly minority representatives which coalition gained thirteen seats making them one of the top three groups or parties in the current Israeli government. So much for the canard that Israel denies Arabs and non-Jews the vote.

Now we come to the most egregious of the lies against Israel claiming the Israelis are committing ethnic cleansing or genocidal actions against the Arab Palestinians. All one need do is compare their population from one year to the next and the lie is revealed. The Arab Palestinians who are presumed to have lost their homeland to the Israeli colonizers despite their so-called ‘nation’ never ever existed nor has it ever fought the Israelis except through terrorist actions which often required IDF actions to prevent further slaughters of Israelis amongst whom Arabs, Bedouins, and Druze have suffered loss of loved ones and family members including children to these indiscriminating terrorist attacks. The main detracting and near impossible to quantify as the Arab Palestinian leadership from Fatah in Judea and Samaria denies there is any problem as also do Hamas and Islamic Jihad in Gaza when approached on the subject of Arab Palestinians emigrating if they can find the money and the favorable situation where they are able to get out from under the despotic grasp of their governance which goes to extremes to prevent attempts to emigrate to a better life. Be these situations as they may, the graph below depicts the growth of the Arab Palestinians’ population from 2006 to 2015 depicting an increase from three-and-a-half-millions persons to four-and-a-half-million persons; a total increase of one-million persons in just nine years.

The only thing that matters once these accusations have been put to being the lies that they are is to understand the reasons behind driving these accusations, exactly what they should be viewed for being and what effects they will pose and situations they might engender even if such is actually the opposite of what they are seeking. A glaring example was made this week though the actual decision was completely off by one-hundred-eighty-degrees from the conclusion the media and world took from the decision of the United States Supreme Court. The world mistakenly took the decision to indicate that the United States does not recognize Western Jerusalem as being within the Green Line or despite that having decided that all of Jerusalem should belong to someone other than Israel and probably to the Arab Palestinians though none of that was in the actual decision. The decision handed down by the Supreme Court in their six to thee decision was that the Congress does not have the power to force an agency, in this case the State Department, to recognize and issue documents against their policy. The Supreme Court did not identify what policy leaving the decision to be a formidable and potentially sweeping decision granting greater power for the Presidency and the Cabinet agencies who now can understand themselves to be free of any Congressional oversight or subjected to directives from the Congress. This gives the Executive Branch a huge amount of added powers which may require another case to visit this decision and further define their stand thus focusing when and where these newly found authority and override ability for Executive Branch Agencies and the President himself. Ignored by the Europeans and President Obama were a few facts about Jerusalem and why Israeli Jews and hopefully other Jews will fight to retain all of Jerusalem, Especially the Old City and Temple Mount. Jerusalem is the beloved of Jews everywhere, Jews pray facing Jerusalem, the Passover Seder ends saying, “next year in Jerusalem,” and finally Psalm 137 which is also known as the Song of Babylon is all about Jerusalem and her importance which all should weigh heavily before attempting to take her from us again, the translation, as best as it can be to the Hebrew, can be seen below,

137:1 By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept, when we remembered Zion.
137:2 Upon the willows in the midst thereof we hanged up our harps.
137:3 For there they that led us captive asked of us words of song, and our tormentors asked of us mirth: ‘Sing us one of the songs of Zion.’
137:4 How shall we sing the Lord’s song in a foreign land?
137:5 If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget her cunning.
137:6 Let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth, if I remember thee not; if I set not Jerusalem above my chiefest joy.
137:7 Remember, O the Lord, against the children of Edom the day of Jerusalem; who said: ‘Rase it, rase it, even to the foundation thereof.’
137:8 O daughter of Babylon, that art to be destroyed; happy shall he be, that repayeth thee as thou hast served us.
137:9 Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the rock.

Still, the President reacted in such a manner as to imply that the Supreme Court was granting a validation on the content of the subject matter within this case and not simply the limitation on the Congress preserving authority for the President and the rest of the Executive Branch. The rest of the world went almost dizzy with glee taking this misconception and running with it claiming it implied that the Arab Palestinians had the rights to all of Jerusalem, and not Israel. Mahmoud Abbas, Saeb Erekat and Jibril Rajoub were feeling the strong vibrations as the Europeans reacted one after the other as the news of the decision and the misleading narrative made its way across Europe and then the Middle East.

With the Europeans leading the world in the belief that now all of Jerusalem is up for negotiations and that, as some in high places had previously whispered, all of Jerusalem could end up in Arab Palestinian hands and not just up to the Green Line or some other demarcation, there was glee giving the Arab Palestinian leadership renewed hope that they were definitely winning the battle for the hearts and minds of the world and their goal for the state of Palestine replacing all of Israel was now, more than ever, a reality which was within their grasp. Abbas and company were now assured that all they needed to do was wait and continue financing and directing the BDS movement and apply shaming force against the weak western leaders just like CEO Stephane Richard who recently made a large stir claiming that as CEO of Orange, he wished he could cut all ties and not do business with Israel as he made almost no money from their partnership with Partner Communications Company Ltd. The implication of the problem being two-fold, Orange CEO Richard had succumbed to the BDS demands and intimidation giving the BDS organizers a huge increase in their intimidation war against the world trading and recognizing Israel forcing them instead to promote the Arab Palestine regardless of the consequences and that Orange was conned or otherwise fooled as the Israelis (read Jews) had swindled him and taken unfair advantages thus forming a contract which gave Israel (again read Jews) the service virtually for free or barely paying for the service. The charge of fraudulent dealings when money is at stake finds its origins as one of the earliest of charges leveled against Jews. This was the theme in Shakespeare when he wrote the play The Merchant of Venice where one of the main characters was the Jewish money-lender, Shylock, who adds a dark and ominous condition that the loan must be repaid in three months or Shylock will exact a pound of flesh. In the end when the loan was not paid Shylock is told by the judge he can have the pound of flesh as long as he doesn’t draw blood, as it is against the law to shed a Christian’s blood. The rest leaves Shylock a broken man forced to even abandon his faith and adopt Christianity. There were shades of the accusation of Orange being the victim of the sly dealings as those with Shylock in the Orange franchise to the Israeli company Partner Communications.

The Arab Palestinians and the Arab League nations which assist with the BDS financing which is oddly done completely through cash in hand payments thus avoiding any large and traceable bank accounts or the image of a large organized juggernaut which it is with international tendrils reaching to the corners of the Earth and four continents, especially on numerous major university campuses and gaining footholds in countless more. The cash is delivered using the Arab Palestinian Authority, or Palestine, embassies, consulates, representative offices and other arranged meetings where organizers, activists and other people in leadership or permanent positions will take turns flying even into Israel to get their funds directly from Ramallah if there is no other means through the institutions established on every continent to supply the needed cash. It is estimated that there are literally hundreds of millions and potentially a great deal more invested in making the BDS movement appear spontaneous and a grass roots movement with little if any organizations when in fact there is an international web of tangled and overlapping organizers, activists, agitators, transportation dispatchers, treasurers who often are responsible for tens of millions to be paid to others often monthly. These activities are paid for mostly with the Western funds provided the Arab Palestinians Authority through direct funding of the Authority by Europeans and the United States as well as funds siphoned from UNRWA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East) which is United Nations funded and directly funded again largely by the United States, Canada and Europe. The BDS will likely be hitting the campuses again next year and attempting to spread their seminal event and climax of their anti-Israel vilifications, Israel Apartheid Week (though some campuses have been known to continue events through an entire month and often there are threats made against Jewish students, especially any thought to be sympathetic towards Israel or religious and practicing Jews. These BDS organized extravaganzas often spin off anti-Semitic actions, with Jewish students often being fearful about crossing the campus, even to get to their classes, due to the difficulties they can face from those agitators who are paid to start and fuel the arguments and confrontations with Jews and any pro-Israel individuals.

The BDS assaults are but one front Israel and her supporters are facing. There is a serious drive by many, if not most, of the European nations which outwardly talk of their relations, trade, good relations, appreciations and open friendship they keep and respect with Israel while behind the scenes they are spending billions each culminating when added to individual and NGO expenditures funds in the tens of trillions annually all for efforts to delegitimize, isolate and disestablish Israel. One of these efforts executed with the assistance of the Arab League is to place measures for United Nations to debate in the General Assembly and occasionally it is sent to the Security Council for action where often the United State is forced to use their veto the measure calling for the United Nations to rescind their authorization establishing Israel, which assisted, they claim validated, the formation of Israel and without such Israel would be dissolved as it would no longer have legal authority to exist.

This is where some of the new blood in high positions in the Prime Minister Cabinet with this new and hopefully powerfully nationalistic, Zionist and as politically incorrect as possible making them willing to talk religion and Torah and Bible and the a one-thousand-year history right here in Judea and Samaria and the Galilee and the Negev all before the year zero on the calendar prevalent throughout Western society, the Gregorian calendar. That’s correct, over a thousand years before there even existed the Gregorian or Christian calendar or the Islamic calendar. When the Buddha and Confucius were teaching their revelations and philosophy we were building the Second Temple, that’s correct, the Second Temple which we built after our exile in Babylonia. The Five Books of Moses, Torah is its actual name and it is an accurate history of the Jewish people’s lives after Abraham left his home and traveled to the place that Hashem would show him. The history does not end there as the remainder of the Old Testament as Christians refer to it and simply the Bible to us. The Bible covers the history from when Moses has handed the position of leader to Joshua who led them into Israel and he was in turn followed by successions of Judges and Kings with numerous Prophets strewn in as the need became necessary, which was to say frequently. The stories of the Bible were actual events which, if the anthropologists were to be honest, would have proven the Jews and Israel’s rights to the lands here, especially Judea and Samaria. Not long ago at the dig site where it was believed that the giant Goliath was born they found a somewhat oversized bowl or mug which had engraved in it the name Goliath. This find was claimed to be of absolutely no proof of the story about the fight between David and Goliath had not been proven and the utensil was not even guaranteed evidence that the name Goliath was used at that time or any other excuse you can think of including multiple universes. Sometimes it seems like wherever one looks there is some reason that something which obviously confirms Jewish claims from the Bible, Torah or whatever that there will be skeptics not only dismissing the find but also making some comment about how Jews are always trying to make everything about them. I’m really sorry to have to point this out but except for three or four cities, Jericho, Jerusalem, Akko and Shechem the rest of the places found in Judea and Samaria as well as the Galilee and Negev, these finds are likely from the history of the Jews even if the remnants are smacked hard into the bedrock as many of our places were planted right onto that bedrock. The seemingly never-ending, persistent and ugly reality of many of these denials simply comes from the modern age’s determinations that claim science has proven so much, we will soon have so much figured out and formulated that there will be no room for the existence of spiritual and omnipotent deities. Their truth claims that they can be sure there was no progenitor who caused our universe formation and that science will provide the answers. I have found that the more you know, the more you realize that you do not know. If that is not true then you are not seeking all the answers. But the real reason that the finds here are often minimized is because it does not serve supporting the Arab Palestinians as they are the leftist cause-celeb and that makes everything in their favor to be considered perfect and their every claim and complaint obviously valid and must be tended to immediately, and especially if it might assist with the destruction of Israel.

There is reasoning behind the insidious plotting to destroy Israel and replace it with what the world knows will be a failed state because the world would rather have a failed Arab State than a functioning and successful Jewish State. The desire is to destroy the Jewish State and by destroying Israel they believe, and probably rightfully, that they will have destroyed the Jews themselves. They will suffer the few thousand remnants in their enclaves or they may even hunt down the last person with a Jew anywhere in their last seven generations as the blessings are passed forward seven generations. The hate that we survived that first and best chance to wipe Israel from the map infuriates so many Europeans that the hatred makes for strange bedfellows. When British officers from World War II join together with Nazis from World War II and attempt to wipe the Jewish State from the world’s stage before her opening curtain has even completely opened, then you know there is a real hatred out in the world. The anti-Israelism and anti-Zionism are two sides of that old coin known all too well, anti-Semitism. It really is that simple. There is a reason behind the claims that Israel is using ethnic cleansing to purge the Arab Palestinians and that Israel is resorting to genocide against the Arab Palestinian People, and they call them a people by leaving off Arab and inventing something which is a lie and a deceit and as that is their initial truth, then all that follows is simply something to prop up that lie. The ethnic cleansing and genocide claims are made because even the most ardent anti-Semite desiring to swim in Jewish blood when Israel had bled to death knows that such will not be the result of this charade. They are completely aware that they are playing with millions of lives and their attitude is simply cavalier as they could not care less how many they send to their deaths if it simply wounds Israel severely and made her pay. They are aware that eventually the Arabs Palestinians will believe their propaganda about how weak they have made Israel and how this is the time to strike, and strike the Arab Palestinians will and initially they will gain advantage but in the end they will most likely be slaughtered. My dearest hope is that only the most ardent Arab Palestinian anti-Semitic, anti-Zionistic, anti-Israel haters will end up paying the price for hate, there is always a price eventually coming due for hatred and this one promises to be a very costly price. When that day arrives the Europeans will be ready for one of two alternatives, the first is their celebration on the real ethnic cleansing of six-million plus Jews or the regret and finger-pointing calling out Israel as having finally been made guilty of the ethnic cleansing and genocidal deaths of the proud Arab Palestinians who were killed because Israel used disproportional force, because Israel refused to die to satisfy their blood-lust, to allow them their final solution. We need to tell them and those whom they influence that Israel refuses to just roll over and die, Israel refuses to go gently into that dark night, Israel will bask in the morning after’s sun and tend our wounds but we will not go gently into the dying light of the night.

Might Naftali Bennett be Responsible for Unity Government?

First allow me to say that I respect and really like Naftali Bennett and even agree with him to a point about broadening the scope of the Religious-Zionist party making it a stronger party with a broader base but only as far as retaining its defined perspective and within the boundaries placed by the Rabbis who guide and define the Religious-Zionism. All that said, it might be that Naftali Bennett might be responsible for the danger that Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu might turn to the Labor-Hatnua allied parties under the misnomer of Zionist Union, they should have been named as the Anti-Zionist Union, thus not having to provide influential and vital ministerial positions to the many obvious allies were the Prime Minister desiring to form a right-wing Zionist and conservative coalition. The past political performances over the years by Prime Minister Netanyahu should have given many people pause except it seems that nobody is permitted to speak of such things as they are considered political poison and an area none dare tread for fear of ostracization for going into these past tendencies. There was the reluctance when as Finance Minister in the government of Arik Sharon in the leading days before the Gaza Disengagement and many were calling for him to withdraw from the government and do whatever he could do to bring the government down through a vote of confidence by which to defeat the entire Gaza Disengagement and force new elections. He fought that call insisting that he had a larger voice by remaining in the government and at the last exit Netanyahu finally resigned from the government after Prime Minister Sharon had formed a new Party and coalition making the resignation by Netanyahu all but meaningless. When winning the elections in the 2012 elections the first party which Prime Minister Netanyahu sought to include was the Hatnua Party and rewarding Tzipi Livni with the Minister of Justice position, which is powerful enough in its own, and delegated her chief negotiator for the perpetually, never-ending peace process negotiations with Mahmoud Abbas and fiends. This appointment was incredulous and virtually unacceptable to any Zionist, let alone Religious-Zionists, but all this was taken in stride and Prime Minister Netanyahu was still rewarded with having a truly Zionist government with a coalition depending heavily on Yair Lapid and Tzipi Livni, two politicians not exactly enamored Zionists when one remembers they both support the formation of a Arab Palestinian state and Ms. Livni would prove so desperate to make a deal, any deal, that she continued her negotiations even after being told to cease by Prime Minister Netanyahu though she received no sanction until Yair Lapid also took steps which forced the dissolution of the government and calling for new elections. Now we hear from Naftali Bennett himself that he is prepared to sit in the opposition should a unity government be formed by Prime Minister Netanyahu.

None of these events are within the ability of Naftali Bennett to change but there was a particular point where I continued to support Jewish Home and desired the best for Naftali Bennett but felt he had failed in serving in the best possible manner the Jewish Home Party and the Religious-Zionist camp of Israelis by removing from their range of choices the ability to have Naftali Bennett be the next Prime Minister and giving a true Religious-Zionist the ability to be forming the next government. This was the point when Naftali Bennett stated that he was not prepared to be made Prime Minister and was more suited at this time to be a supporting and strong force in a right wing Zionist government led by Prime Minister Netanyahu. First thing, it is the voting public which decides who is ready and best suited to form a government that best represents their needs and beliefs. By simply stating by Naftali Bennett that he was not prepared to take such a step and series of responsibilities and desired to solely support Prime Minister Netanyahu should he win and be selected to form the next government. While I respect his honesty, I am disappointed that he took his name from contention for the position of Prime Minister. This meant in the final days the position was still undecided and there was this surging of support assuring that there would be a Zionist and strong Prime Minister capable of holding their own against a hostile United States President all benefitting the sole logical choice. Without Naftali Bennett as an alternative, these people, the majority of which were Religious-Zionists, many very strongly so, had but one choice to support to prevent the leftist, post-Zionist, post-modernist, politically correct and passive, weak leaders offered by the Zionist Union cooperative alliance of Labor Party Yitzhak Hertzog and the Hatnua Party. That left them only Netanyahu, the same Netanyahu who had left them hanging as he wilted claiming there was no other choice as President Obama pressured him time and time again. So, what could have been an alternative situation?

I’m glad you asked. Let us go back to the evening before Naftali Bennett issued that fateful commentary where he described how he did not yet feel he had sufficient whatever to be the next Prime Minister of Israel and would merely desire to play a supportive roll behind Prime Minister Netanyahu should Netanyahu be tapped to form the next governing coalition. Well, color me enthused to support Jewish Home. This meant that coming down the home stretch the only person voters desiring a strongly Zionist governance were faced with the somewhat of a wet noodle who had frozen building unofficially in deference to President Obama, had repeatedly stated his support for the formation of an Arab state named Palestine cut out of the heartland, the ancient and holy heartland of Israel. This resulted in damaging the Jewish Home Party more than anything else, even the announcing the placement of a well-known soccer player who, as it turns out, might have been actively supported by the council of Rabbis who should have been given much earlier notice and perhaps they might have assisted in facilitating the placement thus having it not have created any controversy. That was more a problem of appearance and lack of sufficient planning before the announcement of his placing amongst the candidate lists. But the announcement that the leader of one of what is aspiring to become a major force and potentially head of a ruling coalition in the future stating he was not sufficiently seasoned and not yet ready to be Prime Minister basically took a lot of potential voters from supporting Jewish Home. Anybody wishing to vote for a strong right-wing government and not overly comfortable with Benyamin Netanyahu could not now support Jewish Home if Naftali Bennett was not making himself relevant to be Prime Minister and was only ready to play a supporting role behind Prime Minister Netanyahu, where could they turn? This may have sent those who are mainstream Jewish Home voters in any normal election cycle to either seek one of the other Religious-Zionist parties or vote for Likud and the selection of Benyamin Netanyahu as that was where Naftali Bennett was already promising to commit his Knesset seats to support. Why vote for Jewish Home who would only work to promote Netanyahu if they could simply vote for Netanyahu and cut out the middleman which is exactly what Bennett had relegated his position for. This was made even more dire when at the closing hours the cry went out for all Zionists and conservatives to rally around and make sure that the person selected to form the next government was not those who the efforts of President Obama and his meddling interference were pushing for victory, but was the only other choice, Netanyahu for Prime Minister. The choice should have been between Prime Minister Netanyahu and Naftali Bennett.

Had the alternate choice of Naftali Bennett been available there could, dare I say would, have been those who came out later in the day answering the call and voted for Netanyahu when they would have preferred somebody other than Bibi as well but not the leftist Zionist Union as the selected party so they bit the bullet and voted Likud. Additionally, there were very likely a good number Jewish Home supporters who when answering the call to vote to assure that Israel would have a strong and Zionist government which fully represents the conservative, right-wing, Zionist governance, one that Netanyahu promised would stand and prevent the formation of an Arab state of Palestine despite any pressures from Europe, the United States, the United Nations or anywhere else, a promise made by Netanyahu personally, would have preferred to have voted for an alternative candidate but were left only with the choice of Netanyahu as Naftali Bennett has stated he will only support Netanyahu as he was unprepared to be Prime Minister. This brought forth the votes required to thrust the Likud to win in an unprecedented fashion claiming thirty mandates and it can be easily guessed that a percentage of these voters would have voted Jewish Home intending to place Naftali Bennett as the one tapped to form the coalition knowing that then Likud Ministers, including Benyamin Netanyahu, would be in a solidly Religious-Zionist, right-wing, nationalist government coalition. As far as Naftali Bennett’s admission that he was not prepared to lead the nation of Israel, allow me to wax about those who also were not prepared to lead the people of Israel. There was Moses who when facing the burning bush and was addressed by G0d to go tell Pharos to “Let my people go that they may serve me,” replied that he was unworthy, unprepared, not the man to lead and take such an important role. We thank the L0rd that Moses was set straight and given the power to lead the people from bondage, give them the laws and deliver them to the doorstep of the Promised Lands. Not that bad for one who was not prepared or worthy to lead. David may have stepped to the fore to fight Goliath but not until after a number of days of taunting by this overgrown Philistine, but he did not feel prepared to be the King and even hid from Saul and his family not trusting that he was the chosen to lead the people of Israel. Samson denied his Heavenly callings and yet, in the end, brought the house down on the enemies of the people of Israel. Jonah went to great lengths to run from his tasks as he too felt he was not the man of the hour, but he was brought to perform those deeds for which he was chosen. We probably do not have the complete list by far of those who shirked their calling simply because they did not believe themselves ready to fulfill some destiny but missed their crucial role leaving it for somebody who we likely now treasure for answering the call. Now we have Netanyahu who has already backed away from his promise for no Arab state being formed under his watch. What next, the formation of a unity government with Buji and Tzipi? Will there be additional things we were told were impossible as Prime Minister Netanyahu had seen the light and was now a true Zionist and would defend Israel from the pressures from the outside world and if, or when, so, what will the next shoe falling be the sign of that betrayal? Is this because nobody else was ready, willing or able to be Prime Minister except those who are willing to fold before President Obama, the European Union and assorted European leaders? Next election cycle, if there is one, please if you are still not prepared to be Prime Minister, then please allow a new leader of the Party climb to the fore and be ready for us to support to be Prime Minister so we will not be left wondering what kind of government will result, somebody who is supportive of the Religious-Zionist ethics and positions through and through, somebody we will not fear what they might compromise next and we will support them and hopefully place them in as the one tapped to form a government that will support and serve the ideals we cherish.
