Why the Temple Mount was Denied Connection to Judaism

 

UNESCO recently ruled the Temple Mount was of Islamic origins ignoring all evidence of its age easily reaching back at least one or as many as two and a half thousand years before the birth of Mohammed. The fact it was given to the Muslims was of less importance than the fact that it would be denied the Jews. The Temple Mount could have been presented to the Roman Catholic Church in Rome, the Russian Orthodox, Greek Orthodox, Coptic or other Christian sect, or the Baptist, Lutheran, Presbyterian, or Evangelical Christian and even the Anglican Church of England; just as long as it was not recognized as having any relation to the Jews and especially their history. There is too much riding on Jerusalem and ancient Israel being simply part of an old storybook which taught a few basic morals through stories with flawed people and holier than thou seers and magic. Some advanced and currently influential religions, both Christianity and Islam utilized some of these stories in moral tales in their holy works. But as Christianity was long based on their religion being the replacement of Jews as the Chosen People with a new set of Prophets whose writings were of the selected most recognized few used to compose the New Testament. Islam came and was based as the final replacement theology replacing both Judaism and Christianity and making the claim there could be no further alterations or adjudications and this final word was written in the Quran in its pure and final form. There is one thing which must be made about all three holy books, the Old Testament which includes the Five Books of Moses (Torah) and the books of the Prophets, Judges, Kings, plus Psalms and Proverbs written largely by Kings David and Solomon; New Testament; and Quran were all written years if not centuries after the people who originally authored them had lived carried forward by oral repetitions, memory, adaption to political designs and cultural needs thus are not likely to be quite as accurate as often advertised. The one item which becomes obvious is that the Old Testament is the origin for the other two writings and the Quran uses parts and references to both previous works and incorporates many customs though some appear to having been twisted and possibly inverted to fit the idea of a superseding Islam.

 

The foremost need with the descendants of the Israelites, the remaining tribes being Benjamin and Judea with the majority of the priestly casts who became known in Grecian and Roman eras as the Judeans which was eventually shortened to Jews, that their returning and founding the nation of Israel not be recognized as the realization of the Prophetic predictions of the eventual return of not only the Jews, but of all of the Tribes of Israel, all twelve and their priestly Levites and Kohanim. As lost tribes of peoples who claim relations and whose ancestry has been checked and rechecked, passing all requirements, having been restored to join their long separated brothers and sisters, for they are all from one family, the family of Jacob, son of Isaak, son of Avraham; are indeed the fulfillment of prophesy and now the final resistance. The last obstacle is to deny them their ancient heartlands, their beating heart of Jerusalem, and to deny them their most prized Temple Mount so as to belittle their return and mock Hashem and His people. Jewish tribes have returned from across Europe from France and Britain through Poland into Russia entering Asia. Tribes of Jews arrived from Spain south to Morocco across North Africa on through the Middle East through Iran, Pakistan and Afghanistan. There was the airlifting of Ethiopian Jews facing horrific threats to their very lives. There are the Menashe Tribe in India and a potentially new tribe in southern India. There is a set of Jews from Morocco mostly residing up the Amazon River where a grand Synagogue once was the center of a burgeoning community which has died off over the years and the Synagogue still stands but has lost some of its grandeur. Some wonder if theirs was not a somewhat lesser meaning as the building was not built in any grand European style synagogue. There have been groups of Jews, more often than one might expect but entire groups who can trace their ancestry back all the way to when they were forced from Eretz Yisroel. There have been numerous resident Jews residing in Hevron and Old City Jerusalem in the family house tracing ancestry whose graves they can point to and tell how they are related back to the earliest periods. Jerusalem has long held a Jewish community which has always made up a majority. But the problem was not those Jews who remained throughout some cities in Israel; it was those Jews who were returning home, as they described their making Aliyah, sometimes in droves since the founding of the new Zionist Movement in the 1880s.

 

The Jews returning was fulfilling prophecy completing the Bible providing validation of their place as Hashem’s chosen people. It was this validating of the Old Testament and that by doing such invalidating the claims by Christianity and Islam as having replaced the Israelite people, the Jews, as the chosen by Hashem. This made everything become a problem and the center of the building storm was Jerusalem and more accurately, the Temple Mount where a rebuilt Holy Temple, if constructed, would be the final tile falling into place completing the construction of a mosaic started some 3500 years ago where, with the slight change of two names, the first tile in the hopefully never ending mosaic were lain. It is understood by both the leadership across Islam and Christianity that the Jews must be prevented by any and all means necessary from one, building the Temple specifically on Mount Moriah and the Temple Mount and second, the Jews must be prevented from returning and owning their sacred heartlands and holiest cities which all revolves around Judea and Samaria along with the cities of Jerusalem, Hevron, Shiloh, and/or Shechem (renamed Nablus) as well as a few others beyond the Green Line all of which have holy places relevant to stories in the Old Testament. Further, the Muslims control the Temple Mount Church of the Holy Sepulchre, Bethlehem Church of the Nativity and have a controlling population in Nazareth thus holding the cards for preventing Christians their historic sites as well. All of this has placed the Muslims in control of historically and religiously vital and near essential holy sites and holy cities and is working to cement their presumed control over all the above mentioned areas. It is well understood that Abbas is willing to refuse any deal where the Arab Muslim Palestinians do not control not only all the lands beyond the Green Line but also all of Jerusalem as well as areas within Israel which includes Nazareth. This would cement control of the important Christian sites and cities as well as a long list of Jewish cities filled with Jewish history. This has been the Islamic playbook from their very beginning, to conquer, destroy or Islamize other religion’s holy sites often by simply raising one to four or even beyond minarets as was done to the Hagia Sophia.

Lastly, the Temple Mount being given over to Islam was one of many slights, insults and forced servitude done to prevent the re-establishment of a Biblically intact Jewish State and the first of many steps so that a military crush can be initiated whereby Hashem will prevent such. Under the Sharia all lands ever trodden by a Muslim must be conquered and brought back under their rule at all cost as all of the Middle East had been colonized by the Arabs during their many assaults expanding their colonial empire.

The above map depicts the conquests of the initial Caliphate and also depicts lands where the Arabs through various means have all but destroyed, decimated the original conditions, peoples, religions and all else. The means are unimportant as long as all surrender to Islam as the presumed end result for all within their areas of control must surrender to Islam. Their desired end aim is world subjugation by any and all means necessary including the slaughter of their noncompliant peoples who refuse to convert. Those are the truths. The world may ignore all they desire but they do so at their own peril.

The Threat from the Green Line as a Border

 

There has been much discussion that President Obama is planning to have the United Nations Security Council establish a Palestinian State with a shared Jerusalem and the entirety of the Old City, Temple Mount and Western Wall within the Arab state of Palestine and thus beyond the reach for prayers or even visitation as tourists. That is the least of the problems of having Israel withdraw back to the borders which were enticing enough to bring on the Six Day War in June of 1967. Israel was either very fortunate in that conflict or Hashem gave Israel a great victory and established borders which provided the necessary depth so that when the surprise attack of the Yom Kippur War in October of 1973, it allowed Israel the time to regroup and regain the offensive. Of course the entire world began screaming for a halt once Israel gained the initiative and was advancing on Damascus, Cairo and Alexandria and had crossed the Suez Canal and was closing on the Nile while also swarming from the Golan Heights and into the suburban areas of Damascus. The world demanded of Israel that she pull forces back to the lines where the Six Day War ended enforcing that Israel not gain from any war started so obviously by the Arab side. When initially the Egyptian and Syrian forces were breaking through the Israeli defenses and taking prisoners and gaining area, the world sat in silent permissiveness glowing in the advances made against Israel making no demands for the offensive to halt. It was only when Israel was gaining and on the offensive that the world began wailing.

 

What might be the case should Israel be forced back to the 1949 Armistice Lines, the Green Line, which has been determined by the Pentagon, British military command and others to be indefensible, but that does not bother the world in the slightest. The fact that pressing Israel down to a waist line of a mere nine miles, half the width of Washington D.C, is of little if any concern of all but Israel. Placing forces within the borders of Jerusalem making any offensive city building to building combat and granting the Arab forces the walls of ancient Jerusalem as their vantage point overlooking much of the lands before the Old City is also not any concern as it is only the IDF, the Jews, who will pay with their lives to defend the near indefensible areas as the Arabs use the Temple Mount for artillery used to destroy the remainder of Jerusalem, the entire new Western Jerusalem. Further, with artillery and mortars sitting on the Judean Cliffs overlooking central Israel the entirety of the Tel Aviv greater metropolitan area which stretches from Netanya in the north to Ashkelon in the south and to the bottom of the Judean highlands all within easy range and within an hour or two would be reduced to rubble very possibly before the IDF could mobilize an assault to end the barrage. Such an attack could easily result in over three million Israelis murdered within the first fifteen minutes. But why worry as Israel will find a way and if not what has the world lost, Jews. Nobody will care about another six or seven million dead Jews and an end to Israel as it was the cause of every problem in the world anyway, isn’t that the theory so many have claimed?

What will be the reality the world would wake to once Israel was made to disappear? What if the war in Syria continued and terrorism simply got thousands of times worse as there was no longer Jewish Israel absorbing the attacks of Hezballah, Hamas, PLO and the Iranian al-Quds Brigades of the IRGC (Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps). Their next target is Europe and the Christian central and southern Africa and possibly shots into South America from the Tri-border area (PDF). Then there is the question of how many terror squads have been hiding in plain sight within the United States and Canada. Without Israel that would become evident really quickly, but it was only Israel. Israel currently absorbs well over half of the terrorist attacks and resources in many a varied manner. Imagine if in the no-go zones throughout Europe Hamas started operating rocket and mortar squads which can fire a half dozen rockets and melt into the surrounding neighborhood leaving little trace of their existence beyond some scorched pavement. Even should the Europeans have return fire computed weaponry in place, which after a while would become absolutely necessary, would they have the will to fire into heavily populated areas at targets known to be next to kindergartens or health clinics? This would test their inner conscience as this is exactly the scenario that Israel faced as Europe condemned every Israel attempt at defending against just this form of terror. How many Parisians or other European finest would have to pay with their lives before these neighborhoods were invaded by special forces targeting the weaponry being used by the terrorists and what will be the rest of the world’s reaction when the Europeans become the new Israelis?

 

This could be the scenario should the world, in this case the European Union, should sit idly by and permit the Security Council to pass an initiative setting in place a Palestinian terror state with the Green Line as the border. Such a divisive move allowing for military intervention forcing into existence a Palestinian terror state, there could be no other form with the current political leadership, the final war with Israel would be set in motion. For a reference as to what might happen we can actually use the Six Day War as the template. I know what you are going to say, did not Israel win that war? Yes, and there was one very important reason, Jordan. During the Six Day War Jordan was not a part of the initial assault and only joined the fighting in the second day. This made for a great difference, the IDF had mobilized and held the front lines and had begun their counter attack. When Jordan ignored the Israeli pleas to remain out of the conflict and tryed to inform King Hussein of Jordan that the news broadcasts in Syria and Egypt of their advancing on Tel Aviv and routing the Jews were lies, the Jordanian King believed the Israelis were lying as they were being defeated and were trying to avoid an even worse fate, a more humiliating defeat. When the Jordanian army broke across into western Jerusalem and shelled from the Judean hills, the Israelis diverted IDF Air Force jets to quiet the artillery before the damage became unbearable and turned a column of Tanks and infantry heading for the Sinai Peninsula to aid largely with mopping up, bypassed and cut off Egyptian forces to headed east and intercept the Jordanians. Once the Jordanian army was pushed back across the Jordan and Israel had reached their rightful border as promised by < href=https://beyondthecusp.wordpress.com/san-remo-conference/ target=blank>San Remo Conference they held that ground as it also made for a natural and ideal defensive position.

 

Had Jordan attacked in concert with the Egyptians and Syrians the war may have been totally different as they were a mere nine miles from breaking Israel in half and entering Tel Aviv and potentially slaughtering millions of Jews if such were the decision of their commanders. Israeli response might not have been accomplished before the Jordanians has succeeded in that dangerous strike plus Jordan could have made the Israeli Air Force unable to use Ben Gurion and two of the military Air Force airstrips as they would have been within the range of Jordanian artillery. As Jordan attacked while the war was in progress the Israeli Air Force was already with jets in the air which could intercept the Jordanian forces and attack their artillery positions and their advancing forces intercepting armored columns and infantry. That the Air Force had assets in the air was part of the difference as well as having their military assembled. This is why Israel must retain Judea and Samaria, the so-called West Bank, as that gives Israel an ideal defensive position along the Jordan River and triples the width of the central heart of Israel. If nothing else, retaining Judea and Samaria is a military necessity for Israel as well as a practical one.

 

The Arabs are aware of this, which is at the heart of their destruction of Israel by pieces; take whatever they can gain through negotiation, then attempt to gain more through other claims to lands by Islamic Bedouins or other groups and when there is no other choice once again use military force to finish off the remainder. This idea is nothing new. In 1964 the Arabs in Jordanian controlled Judea and Samaria and formed the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO). The PLO was not formed to liberate Judea and Samaria from Jordan but to liberate all of Israel from the Jews and kill all the Jews in the process. This was in 1964, a full three years before the Six Day War and three years before any so-called occupied Arab lands. If people cared enough to listen carefully to Mahmoud Abbas, he rarely refers to any timeframe of the occupied territories because if he did, in the western world the game would be over. When he talks to his own people or other Arabs and Muslims, he speaks freely and names that he desires to free all of the occupied lands from 1967 and from 1948 and purge these Arab lands of the Kafir, of the heathen Jew who he believes are the descendants of apes and pigs, the filthiest animals in all Islam. What is interesting is that Abbas has even begun using the freeing of all the occupied lands which have been occupied, according to Abbas, since 1948 when the Zionist entity stole their homelands. The demand for all the land and the calls for violence and murder from some people one would least expect, calling for the stabbing of other human beings, are included in these two closing videos.

One Editorial Nailed Solution for Many Nations’ Problems

 

A Great Awakening or a Rude Awakening: What Will It Be? written by Michael Brown  echoed our feelings on numerous levels and nailed much of the problem we have mentioned for the United States, European countries, Russia and with some adjusting would serve well here in Israel as well. The article pointed out that seeking the solution to national problems through the political front alone was simple folly. The candidates for President in the United States was sufficient proof that politics alone was a futile direction as a choice between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump was simply a choice between two massively flawed individuals whose ideas of truth, honesty and dignified stature in leadership leave so much to be desired and make the fact that any political solution will never be inspirational to correct the path of the public as a whole. Michael Brown noted this dilemma and his solution was for the United States to, for lack of a better phrase, to have a collective ‘come to Jesus’ moment. When we have talked of such, we have noted a return to the basic Judeo-Christian ethics upon which Europe and the United States and the rest of the Eurocentric world was based on and served it so well against previous attempts to invade and destroy and take over their areas by Islam in the past twelve-hundred years, that’s around a millennia and one quarter, also known as a very long time. The Judeo-Christian ethos solidified around 1500 through 1700 with the protestant reformation, the turning point in the wars with Islam and leading to the more open society able to embrace science and the progress and political revolutions all this envisioned and eventually produced based on the remnants of the Roman and Byzantine Empires and their adoption of the Greek representative governance which eventually led to the rule by the will of the people. This works for as long as the people are of a religious and forward looking public ready to sacrifice for the good of the community and the future of the nation and its people. That was where the Judeo-Christian ethics paid the societies great dividends. One could predict the health of a community simply by attending the churches on Sunday, and the Synagogues in the Jewish neighborhoods every morning and evening, and if they were being attended by healthy crowds then the society was healthy and if there were a sparse and paltry attendance with empty pews or seats, then the community was on a descent into oblivion. Europe has been followed by the United States by a mere ten to twenty years but inexorably the Americans have been catching up and both societies are showing the signs of ill health and decay.

Nobody wants to admit the problem and it can now be measured in the lack of babies in the nurseries of the hospitals, the closing of neighborhood schools due to lack of students and the dwindling reproductive rates where childbearing has dropped below, in some cases precipitously and perilously below, replacement levels demanding that immigrants be found to replace the lack of workers such that the society can afford to support their elderly and aging populations. The problem with this situation is that with time the new immigrants will become the majority of the work force and will resent their being taxed to support an aging population which is unlike them and to which they have no affinity or care. This will lead to a dangerous situation where simply ridding themselves of these old fossils will become an enticing idea and euthanizing these useless relics of the former glory will be the only solution that seems logical and these fossils will be too old, weak and few in number to prevent their slaughter. It may come quickly in a single night starting in one town and spreading across the continent with the blazing speed of an inferno and within a few weeks the problem of those who had become the other will be solved and the new majority will be rid of this burdensome and expensive problem and ready to enjoy their new found financial freedom. Imagine their joy having everything their way and the old once proud people vanquished more by their own hand and selfish “me thinking and lifestyle” than the actions of their final executioners.

 

Where in Europe and Russia things are approaching drastic and may become irreversible and the disastrous end will have become inevitable. Maybe the new peoples will be kind and simply place the “old ones” on reservations and treat them much as they had treated the civilization they replaced when conquering the New World. Perhaps the Native Americans will become an important part of the New America and that will be the perfect role reversal and payback almost in all of history. The United States would be more capable of turning everything around and their salvation would come from the most ignored and considered inconsequential of places politically, fly-over country. The middle of the nation where people, according to President Obama, “… they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.” This quote is the perfect example of the problem with society which the political class represents and is indicative of the societies on the two coasts. It is the clinging to their religion and the Bible that just might start the revival necessary for the return to the next golden age in the United States and perhaps bring a reverse tide which might bring the restoration of Europe if it is already not too late for Europe. Britain might have saved themselves and might perhaps allow other nations to also find the path back to their roots and return to religion which is not anti-science as even Albert Einstein believed that there had to be a G0d because the universe was simply too complex but mathematically perfect to have come into existence purely through an accident. His was the G0d which was the harmony and reflection of the order of the universe as he explained once on April 24, 1929, Einstein cabled Rabbi Herbert S. Goldstein in German: “I believe in Spinoza’s God, who reveals himself in the harmony of all that exists, not in a God who concerns himself with the fate and the doings of mankind.” The entity in such beliefs is often referred to as the “Spinoza’s God” named after the philosopher Baruch Spinoza. Einstein is not the only science personage who believes strongly in God as many of the earliest theories of our Universe were first proposed by scientists who were also men of the cloth, some even worked from the observatory located within the complexes of Vatican City (see photo below). The Church has come a long way and no longer fights science as they did in the times of Galileo Galilei.

The truth which even science will not dispute is that as Europeans and, after them, Americans left their religions and began to live for the day and let tomorrow take care of itself are in many cases childless and their predominance in the populations of the Western World is leading to the death of these nations and their civilization. Islam is ready to take up any slack and turn Europe into a reflection of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) and are already arriving with an advanced guard. The vast majority of the “Syrian refugees” are males between the ages of thirteen to eighteen up through forty or fifty. These could easily be classified as the age one could expect of a military expedition including privates, sergeants, captains all the way to generals. The strata of ages are even in close approximation to a military force and their actions depict a group intent on conquest over assimilation. The United States has a somewhat brighter picture as the most readily available immigrants are Mexicans and other Hispanics from Central and South America who are largely Christians. As long as the numbers of MENA refugees and illegal immigrants from MENA nations and keep the immigrants restrained to largely Christians, then the future may not be as drastic a change to the American societal influences while Europe has no real similar alternative unless they choose to import Christian immigrants from central and southern Africa and parts of Asia. This would require a definitive change from their current system where they are importing Muslims with little if any background checks of virtually any depth. Such is a recipe for disaster which has already been starting to crest and appear throughout Western Europe. Even Islamic strategic Imams have already claimed that this is a part of their plan for civilizational jihad and the destruction of the Western World through their own rules of freedoms using them to destroy the entire civil constructs and replacing Christianity as the main religion with Islam and then persecuting the remaining Christians and the secularists giving them the choice of adopt Islam or death. The plan is to gain sufficient numbers and then use the sword to conquer the West just as they have MENA and had conquered Spain and large swaths of Eastern Europe and the Balkans before being pushed back during World War I. That is correct, it was just about one hundred years ago when Islam was pushed from Eastern Europe and their Caliphate Empire, the Ottoman Empire, finally came crashing down at the same time the Austria-Hungarian Empire also collapsed and both were restructured and divided into individual countries by the Sykes–Picot Agreement. That is another clarification which needs correction; the Sykes–Picot Agreement altered the maps of Eastern Europe as well as areas of MENA as it forced the end of two empires, the Ottoman Empire and the Austria-Hungarian Empire.

 

What might be a good idea for the Western World would be to only accept as many Syrian and other MENA refugees in equal numbers as do Saudi Arabia and the Gulf States. The claim that Saudi Arabia does not have any accommodations for the refugees is the biggest lie. They have a set of air-conditioned tents with stoves and bathrooms and kitchens and bedding and living space for four to six people which are used to house adherents joining the Haj. As the Haj just ended these tents are still up and empty and could easily hold tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands of refugees (see image below). The Saudis are refusing to take the refugees because these are not refugees but the first wave of an invasion and what good would it be to have Muslims invade Saudi Arabia as they are already Islamic. If there is to be an invasion then Europe must be the target, not Saudi Arabia. Western nations importing people who are neither secular nor Christian is opening their world to invasion and steady erosion leading eventually to the complete death of Western civilization.

 

 

There is one nation which has a civilization similar in many ways to the past Western World and their religious Judeo-Christian civilization and that is Israel. Israel has an open democratic parliamentary governance with freedom of religion, freedom of the media, freedom of speech (largely), as well as equality of women and men, no persecution of sexual deviants, freedom of sexual orientations, and most of the other freedoms and equalities as well as an independent judiciary and equality before the law. The difference is instead of a complete Judeo-Christian civilization it has a Judean civilization based on Torah as well as modern free democratic society. The main difference is that Israel is more Judeo than Christian and is moving further in that direction. Israeli population is currently heading in a number of desirable directions. The first and potentially most important is that the nation is becoming more religious. Another is the population is intermarrying which can only improve relations. There have been moves to change from having two separate Chief Rabbis to having a single Chief Rabbi for all Jews. Personally with an Ashkenazi father and a Sephardic mother I am all in favor of the merging of the two main bodies of Judaism. This will also have another effect as the secular members of Israeli society marry more religious members they will more often become more religious themselves rather than tear the other from their faith. As Israel is a young nation it still had an old soul and many are simply giddy with having returned to our homeland after almost a two thousand year exile. Some will claim that we have not been exiled anywhere near that long as we do not look old enough to have been exiled for almost two thousand years. Perhaps it will help if we also inform that every Jew is to believe they were slaves in Egypt, were part of the Exodus from Egypt, received the Law, Torah, at Mount Sinai, witnessed the presence of Hashem on the mountain, and were with the Israelites on their entry into the Promised Lands and experienced every calamity and exhilaration the Jews the world over throughout history have experienced whether that be suffered or celebrated. We have said “Next year in Jerusalem,” at the end of every Seder and after numerous prayers and it has been a dream of generation after generation of Jews. We have been instructed to have lived with every exiled Jewish family as we are a family and all related in some way, some distant, others very much closer. This has steeled us and made the Jew one of more resilient of peoples of the world and this has made the return to Eretz Yisroel all the sweeter. With our religious strength growing, we are going in the opposite direction than the growing secular Western world, and this is to our credit and will serve us well with larger families and greater closeness to Hashem who in return provides miracles large and small for each and all of us at the same time. These miracles only strengthen our faith and begin a growth in faith for some who had none at first. We can tell you that if you wish to see the difference between those who are a part of a growing religious community and those who are forfeiting their faith. One can simply make a study of the religious Jews of Israel and compare their faith with that of the least religious, leftist, progressive, liberal Jews in the United States. One group is growing and the other is heading towards extinction. The loss of our brothers and sisters and the coming of more in the coming months saddens us here in Israel as they were so close to coming home where being Jewish is something so much easier to pursue than it is in the United States which leads to more observance and a closer society which assist one another instead of compete against one another. Israel will grow in strength and religious power as time proceeds and we need not fear as faith increases and Hashem becomes more with us.
