Israel Must Answer Threats and Enforce the Law

 

Israel is being challenged by what has been termed as the Third Intifada by Israelis and likely a fair to large percentage of Arabs and the Stabbing Intifada by the ever more descriptive and often more morbid Islamists Arabs who are supportive of the violence and actively support the drive to remove the Jews and replace Israel with their mythical state of Palestine. The Arab Palestinian Islamists take great pride and even a morbid fascination in how the world reacts to their violence and extremist demands along with their interactional unapologetic violence and instead of decrying their uncivilized threats to civilized societal behavior by threatening the lives of innocent civilians they decry any attempts to enforce the law or any other steps deemed necessary to protect the public such as adding checkpoints at all places where the public mass such as malls, theaters, bus stops, light rail spots, public functions and other place deemed as potential targets for the extreme terror assaults using knives, firearms, vehicles or potentially homicidal suicide bombers should Hamas suggestions for such attacks and additionally any following of the other Hamas suggestion of placing poison on their knife blades adding to their potential for lethality. Anywhere else on planet Earth which would face such a challenge to the public safety would be met with sympathy and understanding from the rest of the world and there would be unquestioned support for any and all steps used to restore civility and safety for all members of the society. The Israeli public, not just Jews, but the entirety of those living, working, studying or visiting Israel are in risk of being targeted by these horrific terror attacks. One hopes that there exists a silent plurality if not majority who are just as appalled and horrified by the assault on society which has been slowly escalating since immediately before the Jewish High Holy Days of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur with much of the violence centered on the Temple Mount with the aim of denying the ability for Jews to ascend to visit the holiest place on Earth in the Jewish religion. From there the violence spread out beyond the central place in Jerusalem out across the remainder of Jerusalem and also out into the areas both within and outside the Green Line, thus so much for it being the “occupation” as some of the attacks occurred within the Tel Aviv metropolitan area and in the central northern Galilee. What has also been omitted from most of the media reporting we have seen from outside of Israel has been the nearly endless rock throwing at vehicles on the roads and highways in Judea and Samaria with many reaching back over numerous years numbering over a dozen but mostly not reported upon because the rock attacks became the definition for normal and thus were ignored by and large. Now the knifing attacks are attempting to follow the same path of becoming a commonplace part of life in Israel and thus not worthy of being reported as such things becoming normative.

 

There will be those who will claim that if Israel would simply give the Arabs their own state then everything would be just fine and the terrorist attacks would end. That worked so well when Israel pulled every last Jew and every troop, police and other presence from Gaza turning it over to Mahmoud Abbas and the Arab Palestinian Authority (PA) who almost immediately lost it in a coup to Hamas who has launched rocket offensives at a rate averaging of at least every other summer with the numbers of rockets per day in the hundreds and exceeding one thousand each week and once Israel responded by using the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) was immediately met with a drastic increase of rockets fired per day. This past summer if not for the miraculous precision of the Israeli developed anti-missile Iron Dome systems and at least one case of divine intervention (the story of how central Tel Aviv was rescued when the anti-missile system failed is worth a read) there would easily have been thousands if not tens of thousands of Israeli dead from the rocket barrages. Of course the one matter during Operation Protective Edge was all about the lack of dead Israelis, or as one media reporter asked allowing a slip of the tongue, lack of dead Jews, compared to the numbers of Arabs that Hamas managed to place in harm’s way by firing rockets from next to or even on top of shelters, schools, hospitals, clinics, residences and anywhere else which would cause damage to infrastructure and homes or place civilians in danger resulting in casualties not to mention the number of rockets Hamas and Islamic Jihad fired which never cleared the border striking instead within Gaza with one striking one of the Gaza Hospitals. If these actions by Hamas, Islamic Jihad and the other terror factions in Gaza act when the Jews and all other Israeli interests have been removed, why would anybody believe for a second that should Israel turn Judea and Samaria over to Abbas that he would not simply hand it over to Hamas or Islamic State as soon as either challenged his forces or that Abbas and friends would be any different. The real problem is Abbas has already promised to continue with the armed conflict, translates to murdering Jews, until all of his pretend Arab state of Palestine has been liberated, and by that he means all of Israel as depicted in the pictures below.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The violence has been driven by incitement which has come from the very top of Fatah Party, the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) as well as from the PA itself including Mahmoud Abbas as in the video below where he refers to the “Jews Have No Right to Defile the Al Aqsa Mosque with Their Filthy Feet” despite knowing full well that no Jew has even approached the al-Aqsa Mosque with the possible exception of Israeli security forces though the majority of these police are Druze and other non-Jewish members of the force in order to avoid such confrontations. Abbas also praised the “men and women in rabat. We salute every drop of blood spilled for the sake of Jerusalem. This blood is clean, pure blood, shed for the sake of Allah.” Abbas continues saluting the martyrs and those a who were merely wounded and thus not achieving martyrdom before getting around to denouncing the Jews, but you can read and see it all for yourselves as we again give you the most quoted video of the past few weeks which relates to the instigation which is above and beyond the near constant incitement which permeates the entirety of Arab society in the PA through camps, schools, videos, music and virtually everywhere the youth can be reached and brainwashed. But first Chairman Abbas who heads virtually every organization from the PLO to Fatah to the PA and thus his words carry additional weight, or if not why is he then a partner worth negotiating with.

 

 

 

 

The PA had not been resting on their achievements as Abbas has been active speaking before a special session of UNESCO where he made great efforts to attempt to have the boundaries of the al-Aqsa Mosque increased from covering the entirety of the Temple Mount to have it cover all of the Old City of Jerusalem and specifically the Western Wall and Kotel Plaza where Jews gather to pray as close as they are able to be and still permitted prayer as any Jews ascending the Temple Mount is denied the right to pray and are always under constant observations to assure they do not even squint, close their eyes for more than a second or two or especially move their lips without making obvious conversation and should any Jew dare to pray they are arrested and barred from the Temple Mount for often a minimum of six months. UNESCO refuted the claim for al-Aqsa to include the Western Wall but did grant the coverage for much of the Old City though the definition will need to be granted before any definitive decisions can be stated as fact. Abbas then traveled for a special meeting of the Human Rights Council where he presented charges against Israel seeking their denunciation of Israel, an actual waste of time as they already perform this function regularly as if it was a tradition to be observed. He then pleaded with the United Nations to provide security forces to protect the PA Arabs from the Israeli persecution as it should be enforced that the Israeli security and law enforcement forces are not permitted to interfere with the attacks and murderous intents of Arab terrorists who should be free to do as they desire and murder more Jews without interference, after all, terrorists have feelings too and they deserve to be permitted to realize their aspirations. One wonders how they could ever become martyrs if the Israelis are barred from defending themselves or their enforcement personnel from applying the law throughout the land and protecting all the peoples from threats and attacks from those who are seeking martyrdom to serve Allah. Should the United Nations in their infinite mediocrity decide to actually send international troops to presumably defend the Arabs from some presumably racist squad of murderers who have been shooting innocent Arab men for no reason simply on the circumstantial evidence that they are holding a knife chasing after a bleeding person and blood dripping from their raised knife; what else could be more demanding than for the United Nations to provide troops to protect that person carrying and running with a bloodied blade, after all they might trip and stab themselves as well as any Israeli they can catch. Perhaps Abbas should go straight to the Arab and Muslim world and request they send such troops to protect the right of Arabs to murder freely and bring pride to their family who might have received more money and greater pride had they tripped and fatally wounded themselves making themselves martyrs.

The fear is that the United Nations might take a vote in the General Assembly which would readily pass a resolution approving for any United Nations countries wishing to assist with the keeping of order that protects and defends the Arab rights to pursue their privilege of special recognition within the society and secure their families receive the generous rewards given the most valued family members of those who attain status as shahids. What could be any more obvious that the Arabs must be permitted to become shahids if they so choose as it is the right of every Arab both in the PA controlled territories, Jerusalem, Gaza, Judea, Samaria and even within Green Line Israel to reach for the greatest privilege and respect which a family and individual receive when one achieves the status as a shahids, a martyr in the plain and course languages such as English. What happens when some of these potential shahids find out that the only path open to achieve this respected place of privilege is to attack the protection force placing them in a position where they must defend themselves against such attacks and resort to shooting these attackers granting them their wish to become shahids? We can tell you what will happen. The United Nations approved troops will become the new enforcers of the peace. Maybe it is for the best that the Israelis would never allow these troops entry and the General Assembly does not have the power of binding resolution such that as soon as any member nation declines the resolution from the General Assembly the resolution loses all power and is made null and void, very much like when the Arab League refused to accept United Nations General Assembly Resolution 181 from November 29, 1947 which called for the partition of the lands from the British Mandate west of the Jordan River to form an Arab and Jewish States but the Arabs preferred to attack the nascent Jewish State in an attempt at genocidally removing it from the map on its first day of life. After that idea failed, as did two more attempts to push the Jews into the sea, the Arabs have put forth that they should be permitted to reverse their decision to refuse Resolution 181 and have it enacted today over a half a century later after their decision to reject it actually permanently nullified the resolution making it null and void. Live and learn and watch as the idea of imposing United Nations troops anywhere within the lands under Israeli protection, which is all of the land west of Jordan, and they are not even permitted to exit their plane or cross the Allenby Bridge, whichever route they use to attempt entry, and that should about close the deal right there. Chalk up another failure of either Abbas, the United Nations, or conceivably both.

When Change Comes Merely For Change, Hope Can Only Follow

 

While it is a given that leftists, progressives, liberals or whatever one chooses to call those from the left of even the socialists demand change for the sake of change. Their rallying cry is and always has been we can do better and we can only get there through change, often, as was with President Obama in his 2008 campaign, radical changes. What people should ask themselves, and in turn those demanding change, is what we have working or has it failed us. The easiest way to remember this is to ask oneself as soon as one hears the mantra of change, especially change for the sake of progress, another way of saying change, is whether change is necessary or is the present system actually working. Even if we decide the system in place needs change, or simply some adjustments, then one need ask of those calling for change would be for them to spell out in specifics which parts of the system they believe requires change and what exactly is their change and how will it be an improvement. Usually if one simply claims change is required because we can do better, but they do not define the change, they just scream we must change everything that is not working or is broken, then this person is a danger to the society. Change is not in and of itself good. The concept that all change is inherently good because change will bring innovations and the latest new ideas into play and these new ideas are change we need is dangerous. Changes and new ideas should be approached with great caution, tried in selected places where if this change is an improvement, then this test group is the most likely to understand and gain from the change; and if they fail when trying change then one need return to the previous method and simply state that they gave the changes a fair assessment and they did not produce desired results thus these specific changes are harmful and will not be implemented.

 

 

 

 

The most evident and easiest to understand is in the field of education, all levels of education. The reason education is such a prime example is because there have always been improvements introduced which were radically successful and other changes have crashed and burned and should have been rejected but for the sake of ‘progress’ (this word actually means change when used in anything even remotely political and education is the most egregious example of these rantings and the programs they installed) were instituted across the board because they only failed because the entire system was not installed and full implementation is the only true test. Full implementation means absolutely no way ever of returning to the previous method because it will have been erased from educator’s minds by the changes in the curricula being taught at every level to teachers, and teachers are one of the few professions where additional training is required. The change barkers, the change merchants, the bringers of change armed with demands of this has to be better as it is change and that makes it innovative beyond any rational understanding so you must accept change, will attempt to overwhelm any opposition with long diatribes which have no clear meaning other than a simple idea that ‘change equals good’ and that is all the argument necessary just as long as you never state that clearly.

 

Go online and try to understand Common Core math as there are many sites to try and understand their version of subtraction or their forms for algebra which will eventually give one the correct answer provided the answer is a whole number, any mathematician or physicist or other professional who uses math will attest is a rare occurrence which usually only exists in the problems set-up to produce such a result. The reasoning behind this new math, as it used to be named, is that flash cards and memorizing tables is evil and does not explain to the student exactly what addition, subtraction, multiplication and division actually are and this new method does so by revealing every step taken in one’s mind. Therein lays the problem because no two minds will react in exactly the same manner except for memorization.

 

You want children to understand simple math just give them one hundred dollars in a savings account and tell them that they must never ever allow the principle to drop below that one-hundred dollars. You can then explain how the interest is applied and once they have mastered their savings account they will have a grasp of every function including some simple algebra. Actually, handling money will often teach children what math means faster than anything else. Further, if you ever want to see if the math teacher fully understands addition, just ask them in math what is the definition of a successor. Their answer should start out like this: a successor to any whole number is the point one increment higher on the number line. Every number has a successor thus there is no highest number thus we represent that concept as infinity. As every number has a successor, ever number is the successor to the number before it on the number line. Addition is repeated successors such that five plus three you are looking for the number that is the third successor of five thus the first successor to five is six, the second is seven and the third is eight so five plus three is eight. Subtraction is exactly the opposite so you count in the other direction to find what had the number as its third successor. Multiplication is repeated addition and exponentials are repeated multiplication and once you master that, welcome to the sixth grade and word problems; you will simply learn to hate two trains on the same track. That should be the gist of the teacher’s reply to your question, a deer in the headlights eye lockup is not the desired answer from a math teacher, and yes, my major was theoretical math at some fairly reputed universities.

 

Another example which I feel has been unbelievably damaging to children’s education was a change for the goodness of change in how reading is taught. The departure from even the most basic of concepts for phonics being dropped and replaced with whole word recognition has a very nefarious and not simply damaging effect on reading, robbing from the child the ability to learn new concepts and ideas on their own. The use of whole word recognition makes it impossible for a child to know what the difference might be had they yet to be introduced to the two words of banana and umbrella as they have no manner to read these words for themselves by sounding out the words using phonics. They do not even understand that just by saying the name of the letters rapidly might also give them sufficient recognition to realize what the written word means. The child has likely run into the two words, banana and umbrella, in their daily lives but solely in conversation and thus knows bananas are food and umbrellas are used for rain or shade from the sun, but never having had the words themselves introduced under whole word recognition, they will not realize what either word is and will be at a loss for understanding.

 

This also comes in handy in controlling discourse or the ability to self-actualize and educate beyond their taught concepts let alone other more esoteric or ponderous political concepts outside those that may have been instilled by their educators. As is well established, control the language and one has controlled the discourse and the paths leading forward. This was well established in the novel 1984 with items being classified as good, plus-good, double-plus-good, ungood, plus ungood, and double-plus-ungood substituted for all emotions across an entire range such as envy, pride, satisfaction, hatred or any word dropped from the approved lexicon and also lost is the concept of having no opinion or neutrality thus one is forced to have an opinion even if one does not care thus everything at a minimum are either good or ungood, no such thing as ‘non-good or ungood’ as that was unacceptable speech thus a thought crime, something everybody knew was double-plus-ungood.

 

These have been some very basic observations on changes over the past half a century in the education profession where the goal of teaching was just as much, if not more so, to place barriers between the student and self-defining such that they could be molded in their thought to come to a uniformed result with all belonging to the groupthink and where individualism was discouraged. As an individual who attended a progressive school which was a test institution for the new reading and writing whole word recognition where I failed miserably as I seemed to continuously write and use words which were, as near as I could tell, unappreciated and there was a strong desire to press upon me the disapproval such words would have on my life should I persist in speaking using such terminology and that I should restrict my thoughts and expressions both written and spoken to appropriate language. As those of you who visit here probably have figured, I hardly ever restrict my choice of words to the meager vocabulary my school teachers of my youth desired I restrict myself to using. I was blessed with a mother whose patience rivaled that of Job who taught me at great pains, largely mine as she believed strongly in corporal-punishment, to use phonics starting with learning to sound out a word by simply saying the letters very quickly slurring them together and if that failed to use the more traditional sounding the word out painstakingly using every conceivable combination of long and short vowels and different emphasis and syllable break-points. I eventually learned sufficiently well enough to become self-sufficient in reading and learning new worlds though never quite to my mother’s, Baruch Hashem, complete satisfaction. My mother was to be blessed for teaching me to think and express myself adequately though after I realized my own path she did not exactly agree with my politics though she could rarely find fault with my positions, she just could not appreciate the manner in which I expressed my views when voting. I would always tell her that she need not worry as whomever I would vote for would be the candidate who would lose so she should be glad I did not vote as she preferred as that one vote would cause them to lose. Enough rambling and perhaps I might get back on track.

 

I find that I agree that certain things require changing and require such on a regular basis. Many pieces of clothing require changing each on its own schedule, though many choose to change all at the same time, to each their own. Traffic signals changing are a good concept. I have found that except for things which are cyclical that slow and steady change is not a bad idea as should any single step prove unproductive or worse, counter-productive, then it can be altered or even simply undone and discarded. That is how evolution works, or so I have been told though the skeletons of the individual animals which grew eventually into ducks and chickens from a singular ancestral bird have yet to be found; I will not condemn the entire theory as of yet. Somewhere there is an animal where one is a Ducken and another is a Chuck but thus far no such has shown. We are shown an animal’s skeleton and are told this is the ancestral animal from which we get the duck, the chicken, the swan, the emu, the Ostridge and etc. and etc. That had to be one proud bird-like creature to be the forerunner of so many different birds and yet I have trouble seeing the similarities and especially the differences.

 

 

 

 

Many of the ancestral animals I am particularly glad are not on Earth today as many were downright frightening in size and probably equally capable in defending themselves. I will always remember this one bird which they claim the Ostridge family arose that could kill a modern day buffalo with one strike from its beak by breaking the buffalo’s neck. That was one mean and nasty well-armed bird even if it could not fly. Yet, similarly the same biological-anthropologists, I think that is what they are called, tell us the cockroach has survived from before the dinosaurs almost unchanged over time as it has found itself well-adapted for its niche though some claim it has differed in size from time to time and even place to place. The difference in size from place to place I personally am able to confirm. These changes are necessary and led to our emergence so we do owe our very existence to change. That alone does not make change necessarily good. The flu virus threat changes every year, or at least the injection procedure and medication changes every year and this is definitely a bad thing, especially if the physicians guess wrong and a different outbreak were to strike which actually was favored by their flu shots, this would be a calamity, a world-wide calamity. So here change happens and unless the doctors get the correct change we can lose and lose big. But change in the manner in which we do things such as education, growing crops, raising herd animals, anything to do with the food chain should not be altered drastically or completely across all borders just in case one particular path proves devastatingly wrong. As long as there are crops or animals which were left unaffected by progress, then there would be a chance to return to a path which we know to be solid and proceed, making certain we do not go down that ill tread path ever again.

 

The same should apply to education, and even political change though that often comes only from violent and complete change, all too often resulting within a short period of time, an all too short a period, to result in the same dilemma though with a new tyrant replacing the old tyrant. Then there are the merchants of hope who claimed that Bashir al-Assad was a reformer and would bring democracy and an enlightened path to Syria because, after all, he was educated in Britain and had been shown the advantages of Western culture and a whole long list of positive enforcements which would serve as a bulwark guarding against any temptations to resort to the kind or actions his father had used when he nearly wiped out an entire town to put an end to demonstrations. Unfortunately for the Syrian people and the entirety of the heartlands of the Middle East the Bashir acorn did not fall far from the tree and we had an exact same response to the demonstrations and then some, leading to a dysfunctional devastation spreading across the heartlands of the Middle East from Lebanon across the Syrian borders through to Iraq and even sprouting offshoots in Libya, Sinai Peninsula, Nigeria and beyond known as ISIS and claiming to be the Caliphate. That too is a form of change but not exactly constructive change.

 

I am not calling for an end to change as to do that is to claim you are against all progress. I am also not ever going to claim that all change is progress and therefore inherently good. Measured change which has been tried and proven to be an improvement by a wide consensus comprised with people from as wide an array of perspectives, experiences and all other criteria which may be either favorable or unsympathetic to the planned change is careful and responsible change. The results should be measured by disparate methodologies and across every field which may be affected and these results repeated in second, third and even fourth separate studies using different situations and mediums as may potentially be affected as well. Once a change has proven effective and superior to the previous known and generally accepted methods, then it can be fully implemented. Change must be performed in incremental and deliberate stages such that any and all ramifications as well as any difficulties can be addressed and rectified before the next stage is implemented. Change which is undefined is and always will be a threat to the wellbeing of the society.

 

Whenever somebody, especially a person attempting to take a meaningful position such as principle of a school or President of a nation, they must be forced to define every step of what it is they plan to change before their call for change can be judged and then approved by the people. Change which is undefined and the actual changes kept from definition is truly Hope and Change and that can prove to be very detrimental, something the full effects of which are being and are going to continue to be felt unfortunately far beyond the borders where the people claimed that they could sign on to Hope and Change and all that went with it. May the full effects be able to be repaired before some of the change delivers some nasty results, the arming of Iran with nuclear weapons within the decade being a prime example. Hopefully the human race has had enough Change where Hope was the underpinning and will now know to force any politicians claiming to be the bringer of Hope coupled with Change will demand as to what it is they Hope for and what Change they intend to use to get there, and then limit their enthusiasms as much as one is able. Change will happen even if a Luddite gains office and his entire Luddite Party gains both houses of Congress, even with such a resistance elected, change will come because some changes just cannot be held back.

 

Once the steam engine was invented and modified for industrial use with the centrifugal governor regulating its speed there would be no going back to oxen as the power for industry, the industrial revolution became unstoppable. Change that is worth keeping will eventually come into being but even as that may bring in change, it must be allowed to bring certain changes to an end when they no longer serve any purpose. One need not install any centrifugal governor to a step dc motor because it cannot enter a runaway mode, thus requiring such might have been a great idea during the steam age but would become an unnecessary part in the electronic age and requiring one would serve to keep the copper ball manufacturers employed but that would serve little other use beyond needlessly increasing prices. Still, one would be astonished on how long people have been kept in the employ and even hired to fill a position even after their position was no longer required. The fire stokers were required to man stations even after the steam locomotives were replaced by diesel electric engines despite there being no fire to tend nor coal to shovel, but that position was kept as required to man any engine for almost two decades after they became obsolete. There are those who claim this is what led to the end of passenger rail service in the United States but at the same time made air travel so successful. Eventually necessary change will happen and when resisted it can have some very interesting consequences.

More seriously, the entire agreement can be viewed here with link to our source a Russian publication, and it is not as much reading as you have heard as over three-quarters of the agreement is a list of sanctioned companies and other entities listed one per line often with descriptions and specifics also listed one per line taking up much of the rest of the agreement, all included on our page. The agreement is a breeze to read unless you want to reference the part of this part as per Annex I or Annex III or even as per the Roadmap, whatever that was, and references to other agreements or normative schedules and one thing I did find that was quite straight forward until you try to figure out how these terms might be defined by Iran as versus how France or other concerned parties might interpret them and then this becomes a web of intrigue. Here is this part about inspections, their intent, how they are to be requested and under what limitations;

“Requests for access pursuant to provisions of this JCPOA will be made in good faith, with due observance of the sovereign rights of Iran, and kept to the minimum necessary to effectively implement the verification responsibilities under this JCPOA. In line with normal international safeguards practice, such requests will not be aimed at interfering with Iranian military or other national security activities, but will be exclusively for resolving concerns regarding fulfilment of the JCPOA commitments and Iran’s other non-proliferation and safeguards obligations.”

So, who defines “good faith,” “sovereign rights,” “minimum necessary,” “normal international safeguards,” and “will not be aimed at interfering with Iranian military or other national security activities,” really, they expect for any time Iran wants to play hide the smoking gun HEU (Highly Enriched Uranium) that there will not be a ton of accusations of being too invasive and spying until the site has been cleared and after six months they finally allow access? Am I just overly sensitive and paranoid or might there be something here to be concerned about? Then there is the fact that Iran will be responsible for upgrading their Arak heavy water reactor to minimize its plutonium production and that inspections will be made to verify the alterations. How will such a determination be confirmed when one unnamed nuclear state built an entire fake control room to pass such an inspection while carrying out their research in order to produce nuclear weapons and the fake control room satisfied those sent to carry out the inspections as the gauges were correct and looked the part and the people manning the controls seemed intense and serious but the entire setup was a ploy and it passed. Making me all the more comfortable is that the IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency) will be responsible for the inspections and they are further restricted by the last phrase in the same paragraph as the above now stating a further restriction

“In implementing this procedure as well as other transparency measures, the IAEA will be requested to take every precaution to protect commercial, technological and industrial secrets as well as other confidential information coming to its knowledge.”

And who gets to define “confidential information” not to mention “commercial, technological and industrial secrets” as I am sure these cannot be interpreted in such a manner that a military enrichment site accidentally revealed through an unauthorized casual conversation with a delivery person, a soon to be very dead delivery person, or other less than brilliant secret holder, would not that be something that would be considered compromising by Iran and thus coming under these restrictions? We already know that the IAEA is better at keeping quiet than they are at actually turning the world upside-down to get to the truth. It is safer and easier to not cross Iran than to spend the rest of your days, no matter how short that may end up being, looking over your shoulder with great amounts of suspicions and trepidations. I will tell you now that if I were assigned to inspect Iran and was even allowed in by the Iranians in the first place, should I find anything resembling troubling my reaction would be exactly the same as Sgt. Schultz from Hogan’s Heroes and I would be seen walking around saying things such as, “I see nothing” and “This time, Col. Hogan, you’ve gone too far” and “Are you trying to get me sent to the Russian front?” which might actually be applicable in this instance as well. Then there is this little gem,

“if the IAEA has concerns regarding undeclared nuclear materials or activities, or activities inconsistent with the JCPOA, at locations that have not been declared under the comprehensive safeguards agreement or Additional Protocol, the IAEA will provide Iran the basis for such concerns and request clarification.”

Clarification, there is a word which is meaningless in the midst of an agreement that requires a linguist, a rocket scientist, a wordsmith, a nuclear scientist, and a magician to understand, and not to worry, Iran will be providing an illusionist and an escape artist along with their interpretations and explanations just to assist with their obstructions.

 

Reading the mitigation procedures has two fifteen day levels that run subsequent and another five day intense mitigation period after which it appears that then the filing party can file a complaint with the Security Council of the United Nations and then if they are still unsatisfied they are free to pursue remedial actions as they feel necessary. That’ll work REAL good! There appear to be far more schedules and instructions for relieving sanctions and making amends by releasing funds and arranging all sorts of other mitigations. The spacing and paragraph breaks (carriage returns for older folks like my peer group) and spaces and tabs arranged in numerous and varying combinations seemingly just to make find/replace in order to rid the document of these wastes of space, memory in files, and headaches for those attempting such cleansing of the document and I am sure was also used to make the number of pages more impressive as after editing the document, it was, as a whole, approximately thirty-five percent fewer pages in my Word file (your savings may differ due to different font, font size, spacing, margins, and general and specific preferences). This was made all the more obvious when according to references from Buzzfeed late Tuesday it was noted that the Russian Foreign Ministry appears to have published a full text of the agreement on their website and the text is some 159 pages long. Even our copy of the full deal as on the Russian site we found it still was well over three hundred pages on Word (same disclaimer as above) and despite leaving entire lines with a few numbers, a company name, the description such as ‘vessel’ as in a ship followed by its registry number in the following line and the owning company in the line above and we all know there was absolutely no manner of formatting which could have reduced those three lines into at most two and more often just a single line, heavens forbid as everybody knows that the more pages used to print and publish an agreement and the more weighty the tome the more impressive and validated any agreement is perceived to be, thus the sometimes ten or even more lines wasted between sections. Another reason for the extensive and cryptic formatting was that they could spend weeks upon weeks arguing over the exact format for each section and again how each section was to be separated from the section before and after it as well as other format issues. Such puts me in the mindset of how I felt upon finding out that the Viet Nam War negotiations held in Paris spent weeks at the outset standing and debating the size, shape and seating at the table they would eventually agree upon and need to order such that neither side felt slighted or inferior. There was one thing I did notice was that the sections which referenced the specifics which Iran had to meet the spacing was far more complex and rendered parts difficult to discern their actual and accurate meaning until the formatting was rendered to something resembling normal while the sectors explaining those things which were in Iran’s favor were far more normally spaced and the wasted lines could have been explained that the wasted spaces were intended to delineate items and make them near impossible to be misinterpreted. There was one item I found outright painful, and it oddly enough was not executing the reformatting as I found two algorithms which neatened up large sections very nicely, which was the intentional use of referencing to outside documents, the reference to the Annexes, all of which simply stood to make interpretations more easily twisted and applied as well as the dependence of Iran to be forthcoming and cooperative and the number of items which were to be arranged and enforced between Iran and Russia, as that could never go awry.

 

So, we have an agreement which will be interpreted by people in very likely broadly different manners and we will find that all sides will be able to read into the document exactly that which they desire to happen and not to apply or apply requirements and implementations which will assist in their desired endings. We also have an agreement which has entire sectors which depend completely on Iranian compliance enforcement, Iran being forthcoming with vital information necessary for actually being able to enforce the terms and stipulations and all of it also will heavily depend on Iran self-policing and having complete honest sincerity in all dealings and not to engage in delaying inspections and providing complete and candid forthcoming on all items even to include reporting if and where they open clandestine enrichment facility which would kind of ruin any concept of a clandestine enrichment, wouldn’t it. Placing the onus for any part of an agreement of such magnitude and of vital importance onto Iran to police themselves after knowing that they had broken numerous stipulations of the previous framework agreements which were vital for the numerous extensions, one after another, with each extension bring a poor deal to a bad deal, to an awful deal all the way to a downright dangerous deal which in all too many ways will prove unenforceable. The one truth to come out of this arms agreement is that President Barack Hussein Obama will have his legacy which will empower Iran potentially thrusting them into a level of leadership of a higher level than they currently possess in the Middle East. Another possibility is the agreement might also empower every last terrorist group supported by Iran such as and not limited to Hezballah, Hamas, IRGC (Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps) and other terror forces in the three cities of the tri-border area in South America where the borders of Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina meet and are populated by Hezballah in addition to the IRGC and other terrorist operatives who often arrive to receiving training at one of the three cities in the region which serve as home for the terror masters, operatives and trainees; Ciudad del Este, Foz do Iguaçu and Puerto Iguazú (see map below)

The one thing that is guaranteed is that there will be shrill voices and booming baritones claiming the wonderful aspects and the dreaded coming events and wars because of this deal for the next year and a half as this will be carried on through next November milking this agreement for every political point which can be bled out of it. The ones praising the brilliance and great deal of restraint the deal has forced upon Iran will accuse the detractors to the deal of continuing to kick a dead horse, exactly as they claimed on those opposing ObamaCare and those who deny that any climactic changes are caused by people while those being castigated in such a negative light will reply accusing the other side as being led by their noses and wearing blinders in order to only see that which they have any desire to see. The not so wonderful thing about this situation is that both sides are right about this being carried too far as there may still be a way to alter Iranian desire to build a nuclear arsenal through sanctions but it may require the world cut back on Pistachios as well as oil. The biggest fear is what a nuclear armed Iran would actually do. Would they attack Kuwait and Saudi Arabia or at least grab ahold of the oil fields from both nations whose sole economic health is reliant on those oil fields. Then Iran would be gobbling up the remaining Gulf oil states down the Persian Gulf to also grab ahold of the other side of the Straits of Hormuz giving the Iranians total control of this vital waterway.

 

Further, what else might Iran do with nuclear weapons? There is the chance that Iran would decide that it was not receiving sufficient air, logistical and manpower support when engaging the Islamic State and simply detonate a single tactical nuclear weapon over their headquarters during a period of time they were holding a meeting so as to catch as many of the top leaders of the Islamic State and thus cause dissention and doubt amongst those who thought ISIS really was the invincible return of the Caliph and the establishment of the next Caliphate which would in time rule all of the earth under Sharia as they interpret the Quran and the Hadiths. Such a calamity would spell the end of those dreams and the nightmares they would have wrought on the world. But stopping ISIS would only empower an even greater threat, and even greater evil, Iran and their delusions of being the chosen of Allah to subjugate all and put all of mankind on their knees prostrate facing Mecca. Yes, they would demand we surrender all dignity and prostrate ourselves facing Mecca and the Kaaba (Arabic: الكعبة‎‎ Meaning is ‘cube’) at the center of Islam’s most sacred mosque, Al-Masjid al-Haram (Arabic: المسجد الحرام Meaning literally translated as “the sacred mosque”). Held within the Kaaba is a fragment of a meteorite, a black rock which is described in the Quran with a quote attributed to Mohammad claiming that the Black Stone had “descended from Paradise whiter than milk but the sins of the sons of Adam had made it black.” Which brings us to another belief that the leadership of Iran and has been announcing since 1979, first by the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran the first Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ruhollah Musavi Khomeini and now by his successor Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei that Iran should and will, if it is Allah’s will and Allah does indeed will it, for Iran to take control of and tend to the holy cities of Mecca and Medina. This high hope has often been stated and exclaimed while also including other holy places which hold great importance to Shia Islam such as the holy city of Qom (Persian: قم‎) in Iran and in Iraq the holy cities of Najaf (Arabic: النجف‎) and Karbala (Arabic: كربلاء‎) which are currently being contest for control between the Islamic State or ISIS and the Iraqi military backed by Iranian IRGC forces who are expected to win the day despite the less than stellar performance of the Iraqi military forces. These leaders of Iran and of all Shiites also strive to take possession of the great responsibility of tending the highest holy sites in all of Islam of Mecca (Arabic: مكة‎) and Medina (Arabic: المدينة المنورة‎) which were all the cities mentioned initially by the Ayatollah Ruhollah Musavi Khomeini and was not until much later when the Iranian Shia leadership saw inroads through Hamas to open additional front that they could manage to aid Hezballah did the mention of Jerusalem come into their lexicon where it slowly evolved and may finally be cracking into the top five, but definitely as the Arab Palestinians tell the story, the third holiest site in Islam. One might wonder when Jerusalem will best Medina out of the number two slot though Medina has held the number two slot for quite some time when it fell from the number one slot it held while Mohammed rose his army in Medina but when he conquered the city of his birth, Mecca, his true allegiance became obvious as Mecca became the top city and Iran means to one day soon add Mecca and Medina to their list of possessions which may come quicker than anybody realizes. Once the Iranian backed Houthis take control over all of Yemen, Iran will be able to open their second front from the south coordinated with their forces in Iraq to the north and a main force entering through Kuwait in the efforts to takeover Mecca, Medina and the Saudi, Kuwaiti, Bahraini and other Gulf States’ oil fields cementing Iran as the leader of all Islam and the holder of all the cards as they by themselves will be the entirety of the oil replacing OPEC.

 

The full ramifications of establishing this agreement with Iran and the clearing of their path to nuclear weapons will depend on whether they plan on waiting a decade or decide to take the potentially hundreds upon hundreds of billions of dollars about to come flooding into their coffers and improve the life of the people or go full steam and head-rushing their way to miniaturized warheads simply by warming up to Kim Jong-un and buying his plans or purchasing possibly more advanced warhead designs from China or Russia in order to show their appreciation for their support during these negotiations. The easy prediction is that the world will realize the extents of Iran’s goals faster rather than later as once they possess nuclear weapons the real game starts and all bets are off as to the number of lives it will cost to end their visions of supremacy and world domination. Do not get this wrong as if the leaders of the world play cutesy with Iran and attempt to mollify them as they did in the mid to late 1930s with Hitler they will be giving Iran the Arabian peninsula, Iraq, Yemen and Oman followed soon afterwards the world will probably applaud Iran as they bring the rule of law and establish order as they extend their growing conquests through force of arms and negotiations with a weak and intimidated, risk averse and conflict avoidant Western World adding Somalia, Eretria and Djibouti giving Iran a foothold in the Horn of Africa from which to threaten Ethiopia, South Sudan, the Sudan and Egypt from the south while threatening Egypt from the Sinai and Arabia Peninsulas. From there they would likely co-opt Turkey through an alliance and then take revenge as Persians on Greece for the conquest and ending of the Persian Empire by Alexander the Great, and yes they remember their defeat and will seek to avenge that degradation and Greece is in no shape to resist or fight back. This would place them on the doorstep of Europe and the NATO nations would likely defend Greece with the great and forceful war plan used by France and Britain to defend Czechoslovakia from Hitler except they would hand Greece over in one chunk and not bother with giving half of the islands at a time. After Greece, who knows where next, the entirety of North Africa followed by Andalusia (Arabic: الأندلس‎), which is called Spain since the Inquisition freed Spain from Muslim rule starting in 1492 (a date not particularly celebrated by Jews as we lost just as big if not more so than the Muslims as Spain desired to rid themselves from all non-Catholics which included Jews as well as Muslims except the Jews had no weapons or armies, so guess who paid for any Spanish loss and on the other side the Muslim of the Umayyad Caliphate who also used the Jews as a group upon which their angers could be easily pointed as the Jews made for easy, low-risk targets so we lost on both sides of the Inquisition.

 

After such a move the Muslims would be at their high water mark before Christendom became militarily more advanced and began pushing the Muslims out of their conquests resulting from their breakout from the Arabic Peninsula in the early and mid-eighth century through to the fall of the Ottoman Empire in 1917 though the decline started around the mid-seventeenth century. The next rise of Islam may well be under the leadership of a nuclear powered Shiite Islamic revolution which will first convert the now majority Sunni Muslims likely with a ferocity formerly not seen in modern times until the bursting of ISIS onto the world’s stage though the Assad Family had their atrocities and there have been others such as the terror for so many under Saddam Hussein, it is just ISIS was chosen by the media to emphasize and place their atrocities before the world to view and feel a condemnatory rage. What the reason behind such a media exposure we may never know but, in the terms of old showmen everywhere, “You ain’t seen nothing yet!” As others have said, hold on to your hats as the ride is about to begin and it is going to be a wild ride. Like any old-school rollercoasters, the ride may start slow but watch out for that first step, it’s a doozy.
