Conservatives Need be More Understanding, Really?

 

Bear with us as we cover a delicate subject of the feelings of rage from our leftist adversaries, or shall we be kind and refer to them as our friendly rivals on the political battlefield. (If liberal-leftist-speak, as Orwell might have referred to it, bothers you then please take advice and skip until after a familiar picture below.) Liberals, those conservatives attempt to malign by calling them leftists or liberal extremists, are simply more in touch with their feelings than are those stuffy and self-critical conservative cold-hearted elitists. These conservatives stand aloof in their steel and glass towers demanding that police go forth and do what they are too afraid to do, stand before liberals and defend their man, the clown in the White House. They know their chosen leader is nothing but a loud mouthed, brash, ignorant, uneducated lout and a bully whose chosen weapon is obscene tweets. All they are capable of doing is claiming they were just as upset four years ago but were too busy making money and suppressing their emotions to be capable of any noticeable reactions. They admit all they were capable of was calling for their tools, the Republicans in Congress, to obstruct, obstruct, obstruct. Now they are crying in their cold potato soup, Vichyssoise they call it. Then they follow this up with salted and spiced snails, Escargot they call it, and finally the entrée of raw ground beef with a nice raw egg dropped in the middle, Steak Tartare they call it, and their belief and trust in the man they bought into the White House is just as fake as their names for what most would call inedible foods. They claim they cannot understand the people demonstrating the fact they stole an election using the tricks of bending the rules in their favor while they know that factually Hillary won the popular vote and in any real democracy, not this farm ridden excuse where they use rubes to elect their excuse for a man, she would be sitting properly in the White House and the United States would not be the laughing stock of the world across Europe. Perhaps we need to spell out the reasons behind what they are witnessing and the why’s and wherefores’ of what is being called the Resistance and what they are labeling the hyper-political rejectionism being committed by Democrats in Congress.

 

First let’s talk about the political reaction in Congress, which is no different than the refusals of the Republicans to cooperate with President Obama for eight years. Despite what they point to of the Republicans working to assist with the budget proposals which kept the government operating, they cannot deny that many of the most innovative and important pieces of legislation passed without either a single Republican vote or a mere smattering of Republicans willing to do the people’s work. They invented obstructionism during the Obama Presidency where they never did accept that a minority person of color was in the White House. If they thought there was even a glimmer of a chance, they would have brought impeachment charges against President Obama their hatred was so obviously visceral. They seethed with disgust. They thought they were sophisticated and it did not show, but we could see it on plain display in their every word dripping with bile. Their ridicules in private, we heard as some could not hide their feelings and shared the poisons spoken by their friends in their smoke-filled rooms where the money passes hands to make the decisions against the will of the people. The same way the money passed hands and the fix was put in to deny Hillary her prize, her due of the Presidency because they simply hate.

 

Now we are protesting using legal demonstrations and they are hyperventilating over these displays of popularist emotions. We are in the streets giving display to the feelings of the majority of Americans that there is an unfit lunatic now representing our once proud nation. For the past eight years Americans could hold their heads high as we were represented by grace, charm and intelligence and now we cringe at every display of raw idiocy and hate pouring from the centers of power in the White House. His Twitter posts are an embarrassment which apparently nobody on his staff is capable of reeling Trump in and getting Trump under any control whatsoever. Even typing his name is difficult but we are liberals and thus we are the polite and wonderful people who are really trying to be accepting, but you make it so difficult. We understand when you ask how could we nominate Hillary, but what is your excuse, Trump? I mean like really? And conservatives ask why the left is out protesting. Can you actually have any doubt as to why with Trump in the White House? Then there are the claims of violence when obviously the violence is being orchestrated from those shady backroom deals with the cigar smoke and the bourbon whiskey glasses ringing as you toast the brilliance of sending ninjas to discredit the throngs of peaceful protesters. Our protesters would never partake of such violence and have you noticed that the stores they attack are all owned by our supporters such as Starbucks etc. Why would these thugs have been attacking our friends? These are obviously hateful extreme right wing agitators using rioting in order to discredit lawful and righteous demonstrations against this thug and illegitimate usurper sitting in Hillary’s Oval Office.

 

But let us set your minds at ease. We are not interested in a revolution or any other improper forceful reaction as we are law-abiding citizens who love our nation. What we desire is for our rightful government to be returned to the rightful majority of citizens who elected the true President of the United States, Hillary Clinton, the only correct President who was chosen by the majority of all the people. You know the Electoral College is an archaic invention of white slave owners simply to protect their white privilege and position of wealthy land owners and the elitists of society. They invented the Electoral College as a tool for the propagation of their rule while giving the people a feeling of voting rights and power. It was invented to give a visage of fairness while preserving the rule of the White wealthy class and their proper place ruling over the lesser peoples. We understand that you have fudged the system because it failed to prevent the election of a President who was not of the White privileged class and you have worked the system to assure that no minority ever makes it into the White House again. That is why the majority of Americans have been dispossessed by your Electoral College and you have usurped power placing a buffoon into power as he is really under your control while giving the image of an uncontrollable child on a temper tantrum. We are not fooled and we will prevent your oppressive white privileged power play to forever change the America we love and the America we have worked so hard and long to bring into the world of nations and to give all the people the right to power. And this has been the tone of all too many leftist news and internet locations and outlet since Election Day.

Now for a more centered look and our regular readers can breathe easier, we have not gone over to the dark side of the farce. The left believed the media predictions after the resounding reelection of President Obama and did not notice their losses in virtually every other level of governance from the local dog catcher to governors to Congress and virtually everywhere with the once glaring exception, the major cities. There, where these leftists live among the more normal liberals who are just as much victims to the leftist hijacking of their Democrat Party as the nation is to their destructive members of “The Revolution” being waged across the cities and university campuses. Do not be fooled, they mean revolution and are fully intending to do whatever it may take to install their idea of a perfect governance, fascist leftist government where conservatives are kept subordinate and their leadership sent off to the reeducation camps. While the rest of the United States have been struggling with a lethargic economy and elevated unemployment while the level of workforce participation became more a measurement of workfarce participation with ever more people, largely millennials, finding there no entry level positions and the job market all but closed to them despite having college degrees in the social sciences which they had been assured were highly valued. There are those surprised that their major of Late Fourteenth Century German Love Sonnets does not actually qualify them for any position outside teaching Late Fourteenth Century German Love Sonnets, of which there are almost three dozen positions in the world. Now they are angry and when they were sold that Hillary Clinton would remedy this situation and when she lost they lost it. Some were caught up in the movement which has offered them a new solution, taking the power they lack.

 

There is a problem which the conservatives have foolishly believed will work itself out as these demonstrators get tired and lose interest and return to whatever occupied their time previously. Were these regular people with regular jobs, the demonstrations and the riots would have already dwindled out as have previous such demonstrations. Perhaps we can remind people of the former renditions of what we are seeing. There had been the Occupy Wall Street and the Other 99% otherwise called the Anti 1 Percenters and then all the way over in Israel, the Cottage Cheese Demonstrations which were thankfully ended by that demand to return to classes when the university classes resumed. All of these demonstrations started and continued through mid and late summers as there were large numbers of unemployed and bored college students and an equal number of easily amused high school students who would come and protest during the day and return to their suburban homes red-eyed each night. The attraction of free drink and drugs proved irresistible to these kids and their parents seemed oblivious to their activities or possible a calm supportive feeling that this was simply a phase. Well, now there are groups with paid full-time organizers and often seed moneys to be spread to those who are capable of bringing with them additional bodies to swell the ranks. These riots and the demonstrations within which they are being couched are not about to die down and their anger is palpable. They mean revolution or at least their leaders and the moneyed interests fueling these actions believe. The police being told to stand off and allow the rioters as well as the demonstrators free ranging freedoms is intended to simply allow the demonstrations to grow and for larger and larger groups to cross over from the demonstrations to the rioting and joining the black clad ninja warriors of the left.

 

This is the beginning of a revolution and there is only one meaningful means of bringing it to an end. This is where the good news arises and President Donald Trump may just be the antidote. The one thing which will rob these demonstrations and thus the rioting of numbers would be a thriving economy which is why we will witness these demonstrations attempt to do whatever is required to prevent a return to prosperity, at least in and around the major cities. There will be efforts to destroy any growth of the economy in the cities with the intention of causing economic collapse of the cities and soon thereafter the suburbs as well hoping to collapse the job market and building the discontent. This is being orchestrated in order to well the ranks of those who are unemployed, underemployed and dispossessed in the society and thus the disenchanted willing to join “The Revolution” allowing for a potential real revolution. When the point is finally reached that the cities are starting to be burned by the rioters and the White House has to act and send in National Guard to quell the violence we will hear the screams of fascism. What is so ridiculously pathetic is that those who want a revolution are intent on installing an actual fascist governance which suspends elections with them never to return in the lifetimes of the cheering throngs thinking they have won not realizing what they have borne. Trump will not only not be remaining in office one second longer than elected, he may desire getting out of the hot seat after a single term and who could blame him. Even if he is not as wealthy as he claims, he still earns more than the Presidential salary he would be receiving if he were not giving it to charity. Trump has no desire to be king despite the accusations coming from the left. He simply may be a victim of his campaign’s success and counting the days until he is a free man again or he might be bathing in the believed admirations he thinks he is receiving, either way he will leave once his time is done. With any luck he will be able to jumpstart the American economic engine which has been fuel starved for the past decade and to release the horses that charge the money flow from their strangling regulations allowing them to run free and spread wealth in their wake. The American economy is likely just waiting to be permitted to jump at the opportunities if only permitted unfettered access to the drivers of economic freedom. This is job one just as Trump claimed during the campaign and the faster the regulational drawback and the release of the investment cycle through tax rate adjustments permitting for the easy movement of monies from investment to investment and across different means of entrepreneurial enterprises, the faster the jobs will multiply and the sooner there will be more jobs than people to fill them. This will allow for a healthy new immigration system streamlined benefiting the needs of the nation to bring in the people required to even further enhance the capital investment cycles and increased profit margins, the best means of a healthy economy. These increases will result in greater funds and possibly ending the yearly debt cycle which has strangled the United States and doubled the debt over the last decade. The future is full of hope providing that President Trump’s team are prudent and allow for an untethered economic environment and a return to American exceptionalism which will serve not only the United States but hopefully serve as an example which the rest of the industrialized world will follow, though Europe may be mired in their own sorry history and bad choices of late.

The Arab Islamic supremacist offensive using the Palestinian Arab population ruled out of Gaza City and Ramallah is faltering and sputtering towards its ending. There is spiraling violence which is whipped up periodically often using the Temple Mount and Jerusalem and the apparent Judaizing it might face should Israel decides to actually carry through with the Zionist demands for building the Third Temple. The Third Temple need not transplant or replace anything already sitting upon the Temple Mount as room exists for quite a large and expansive building to be added. There need not be any destructive efforts and instead a sharing of the holy expanse which is holy to three religions without any one religion attempting dominance over the other two (see images below). The pretense that the Jews have no claim or history to the Temple Mount and that the structures found there were all built by Islamic rulers since the seventh or eighth century because history began with the onset of Islam and anything which preceded has no relative justification is just that, a pretense. This is one of the reasons that Islamic holy structures are often built upon the sights of other religious buildings or even are former religious structures which were transformed into Islamic holy sites such as the Hagia Sophia which was originally built in Constantinople and when the city was renamed Istanbul the Hagia Sophia became a Mosque (see image below). The Hagia Sophia had extensive mosaics which were either torn out or, fortunately, most were simply plastered over. The Hagia Sophia had some of the mosaics restored as it has served recently as a museum for both its Christian as well as its Islamic history. How long the Turkish rulers and the Islamic world decide to allow the current use to continue is open to debate as President Erdoğan appears to be attempting to return to Turkeys Ottoman past. This trending in Turkey and across the Islamic world may be coming to a critical point where the world could turn on a single incident or a brief series of events. It is this apparent coming focal point which may have determining ramifications into the future similar to the fall of the Ottoman and the Austria-Hungarian Empires during World War I which came on the heels of the fall of the Tzars in Russia making for an entirely new face to the world or the turn after the fall of Rome and Carthage which had ruled the Mediterranean Sea between them for a thousand years followed by the rise of the Islamic forces streaming across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) and into the fringes of the eastern and western edges of Europe. What the world will look at in another decade or two may be entirely different than it does today. The entire world is hanging in wait for the other shoe to fall and one can choose whatever terror attack they please as the first shoe that fell. Where will that shoe strike the Earth?

For a hint at where that shoe will target our lovely little rock floating in orbit around an average yellow star between two arms of the Milky Way was hinted at by the reaction to new United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres little miscue of acceptable protocols in our overly sensitive world where some believe they own all the rights to history and only their history is permitted to be used. Palestinian Authority (PA) Jerusalem Affairs Minister Adnan al-Husseini demanded an apology last month from United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres because of his statement that it was “completely clear that the Temple that the Romans destroyed in Jerusalem was a Jewish temple.” The statement according to Adnan al-Husseini had “violated all legal, diplomatic and humanitarian customs and overstepped his role as secretary general.” Apparently stating that there was history before the Arabs and Islam arrived in Jerusalem and that the Romans had ever been in Jerusalem or destroyed a temple there, let alone The Temple, and especially the Second Temple of the Jews was unacceptable. Inferring that the Jews have any history in Jerusalem, especially that the Jews had constructed two Temples in Jerusalem and that the Temple Mount was not built by the great Islamic conquerors of Jerusalem offends Islamic sensitivities. Such commentary must be nipped in the bud as if the truth were to be heard then perhaps the Europeans might realize that the Jews really did have a history in Jerusalem and stop supporting the Palestinian Arabs and their criminal terrorism committed against the Jews and intended to destroy Israel in steps using both terror and politics. Islam is terrified that Israel might actually be permitted to realize their rightful and promised homelands and gain full dominion over Judea and Samaria, the historic Jewish heartlands where the Prophets strode, the Judges ruled and Kings David and Solomon Ruled and where Solomon built his Temple to Hashem in the center of Jerusalem. Having the Jews be recognized and permitted their promised homeland is treated as if it would be a dagger into the heart of Islam, a mortal wound to their Muslim sensitivities from which they might never recover.

 

The reaction to the United Nations Secretary General’s accurate recognition of historical fact has identified the exact center of the coming maelstrom, the location of the eye of the coming storm. The coming storm will be triggered in Jerusalem but will sweep across the world soon thereafter never returning full force to Jerusalem as that battle will have been lost. The incitement to terror over the Temple Mount is but one small faction on which the violence is centered. There is also the fuming anger over the promise by President Trump during the campaign that he will move the American Embassy to Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem and, as if that was not sufficient, also stated he planned to recognize Jerusalem as the Israeli Capital City. President Trump did walk that recognition comment back to meaning only West Jerusalem but that was not sufficient of a mea-culpa for the PA leadership who continued using the comments as fuel for violence. Many Imams in Mosques across Jerusalem and the PA ruled areas incited violence as a reaction to the horrific assault on Islamic superiority and ascension over Jerusalem and directed it be targeted on Israelis. One individual took these sermons to heart and used his truck to murder four Israelis while running the vehicle through a crowd of Israeli cadets disembarking a bus in Jerusalem. Mahmoud Abbas welcomed the actions of this Palestinian Arab hero and promised his widow 2,900 shekels per month for life, in accordance with Palestinian Authority Law. But just ask Mahmoud Abbas and in English he will gladly inform you that he is taking every opportunity and possible avenue to end all incitement and terrorism in the areas under his control. His statements proving this insistence that all terrorism and attacks must stop and were not of his or the PA leadership’s making can be seen below. Of course this was not the fault of the PA leadership, it was the Imams in the Mosques following through on their marching orders which came from the PA leadership, but they just discussed theoretical ideas with the Imams, no actually requesting they go through with such instigations with their sermons using the intent of President Trump to move the embassy or the fact that Jews were presumably going to flatten the entire top of the Temple Mount and build their Temple or that the Jews were seen making plans to hold Satanic Rituals in the al-Aqsa Mosque. Nothing of this kind has currently or previously been used to instigate violence against the Jews specifically and Israelis in general. Israel will be the center and the reason given for the coming storm. Europe and North America as well as potentially India and Central Africa will bear the brunt of the storm which will slowly escalate. The United States has already been set as a target for terror due to the insults and threats which allegedly came from President Trump as he is seen to be fully backing Israel in all items and his call for moving the embassy is being taken far more seriously than the same promise made by Presidents since Reagan. This time they are sure it is for real, may that be true. What will further hasten these events is the fact that the majority of Israelis have reached the end of their patience and their government has begun to realize the impatience which has grown. The Israeli Zionist core has had it with destroying Jewish homes while allowing all other illegal construction to be largely ignored. Even Jewish homes and communities built with government approval and having all the necessary paperwork have been assaulted by the Supreme Court on the flimsiest of evidence and even without any evidence as they appear to believe if it was filed, then the Jews must be at fault. This is the result of a leftist court working with a leftist minority flying completely out of control. This will lead to a confrontation in Israel and the makings have presented themselves with the recent law passed to place Israeli rule over Area C and the settlements, all the settlements giving them legality and certify them against further leftist actions. The Attorney General and Supreme Court will undoubtedly be petitioned by a selection of leftist groups over this law and should they attempt to claim the law unconstitutional it may well ignite a final conflict between the Zionists and the Post-Zionist left. The first point is that Israel has no Constitution thus nothing can be unconstitutional and the current law is not in violation of any of the basic laws. Should the Supreme Court and Attorney General take actions against the law, the next logical step would be to pass a new version which is even more strident by granting recognition to all future homes, communities, business districts and any other Israeli building throughout Area C which is under full Israeli civil and security governance under the Oslo Accords and make this new law part of the Basic Laws thus securing it from leftist assaults. Once Israel has completed the coming debate and all building in Areas C is made legal and permanent, the debate with the Arab Palestinians will take on a whole new tact.

 

The expected result will likely be open incitement and full on assault against all Israel. This will not last very long and the solution of returning the Arab Palestinians into Jordan and the backing of a group in Jordan known as the Jordan Opposition Coalition (JOC) (الائتلاف الاردني للمعارضة). For this and other information please read our recent article with more links titled Israel’s Worst Enemy is Israel which entreats the idea which is supported by the JOC that Jordan was the Arab State and west of the Jordan was Israel as the Jewish State and the two were to be separate yet allied working for mutual advantages. Should Israel manage to also bring President Donald Trump on board with the idea and with his assistance along with Egypt and Saudi Arabia to manage to pressure King Hussein of Jordan to become a titular head and no longer have the power he currently wields but maintaining his privilege, this would allow the Arab Palestinians to finally rule the nation in which they carry a near 80% majority. The British placed the Hashemites over the Arab Palestinian majority and that has remained the system with the King using the Bedouins as his enforcers against the Arab Palestinians. Bringing this to an end and granting the Arab Palestinians the rule in what was to be their actual country, then they can be relocated from Israel just as almost one million Jews were relocated from the Arab world into Israel between 1948 through 1959. There will be screams that this is unprecedented which is a bald faced lie. There was a far larger migration between India and Pakistan with much greater violence. There was a similar migration of Germans from Polish lands taken after World War I as well as Germans from areas taken by France at the end of World War I. The migration of populations in the making of nations after conflicts has a long history of forced migrations. This would not be setting any precedence at all. The leadership of the PA would need to be granted asylum somewhere allowing them to live out their lives in comfort with their billions in stolen funds collected over the years.

 

After such an agreement despite it likely being accepted by the Arab Palestinians who would receive ample financial incentives or could remain as legal alien Jordanian citizens residing within Israel as long as they remain law abiding, the rest of the Islamic world, primarily Iran, could react using increased violence through largely terrorism. The world will find a means of adjusting and eventually find a means of preventing much of the intended violence. The problems could begin once Iran has a sizeable nuclear arsenal and the means for delivering these weapons. This will unfortunately become reality within the next decade to decade and a half. Then the Iranians will be capable of fomenting as much terrorism as they desire using Syria, Lebanon and Iraq as bases in addition to their own training camps run by the IRGC specialists. Iran also has allies they have cultivated in South America including the Tri-Border Region in an area where Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina meet but none of the nations bother to enforce much law. Hezballah along with the IRGC run training and are prepared to marshal terror operations through Mexico and into the United States (see map below). The region is replete with two airfields and a series of towns around which the terror infrastructure is based. In addition there is ample dense jungle in the area into which any hunted groups could melt and appear across one of the borders with ease. Perhaps it is the difficulty of organizing a combined strike which prevents any real enforcement.

Whatever becomes the spark, the world is spiraling towards chaos. The problems in the Middle East have already started to spread to Europe, especially to France, Britain and Germany. These problems will become exacerbated by the interconnectedness of the European Union. Once the Islamic forces have gained citizenship there will be no preventing their free travel throughout Europe and the spread of their Islamist agenda. The escalation is evident and will only continue to grow. The Europeans will join the leftists in the United States in laying all the blame on the Administration of United States President Donald Trump. This will simply be a false way of bringing additional pressure as the left attempts by any means to drive the Republicans from power. Should they succeed at this endeavor then the last best hope for Western Civilization will probably die. The left’s only answer to the pressures of Islam is to surrender and blame their enemies and Islamophobia. All one need do is witness how after every terror attack the first step is deny it was terror and when that fails then press the Islamophobia button and demand that everybody not over-react, which means blaming the terrorist. We are to love the terrorist but hate our own history. This is going to work out so well. At least Israel is awake, will the United States remain conscious or will they fall back to sleep. There is quite a lot riding on the answer to that question.

Anti-Semitism’s Israeli Amplifier of Inaction and Timidity

 

The existence of anti-Semitism across Europe, Canada, the United States and the rest of the developed world, particularly on college campuses, is growing and will soon be beyond control and spread throughout society. The first waves will soon break out as today’s college students being steeped in anti-Israel, anti-Zionist and anti-Semitic programs and virtual pogroms graduate and bring their toxic views into the political world and then the workplace and society as a whole. These indoctrinations are presented as presumed pro-Palestinian protests such as Israel Apartheid Week, mock checkpoints, demonstrations blocking campus access portraying the Israeli security barrier as the modern version of the Berlin Wall or the Warsaw Ghetto Walls as well as faux eviction notices placed on Jewish and pro-Israel students’ dorm rooms claiming their rooms are to be demolished as protest of terror home demolitions and simple, straight out physical intimidation of Jewish and pro-Israel students. This article is not out to bang the drum which already has been accomplished to the point that a complete percussion section has been added to the anti-Semitism orchestrated noises around the world just covering college campuses and in some cases it spreading to public high schools. This is following a normal progression for many politicized items as has been tracked with other subjects such as global climate change, equal opportunity, affirmative actions, LGBTQ rights and other highly charged political subjects from our modern societies. We will be taking a different tact driving to perceive what is probably the one major change which if taken would help rid the entire developed world from this pernicious evil. We will leave the proof to the links above and what will probably be more than sufficient numbers of articles which are sure to continue to surface. That could change and do so with a rapidity that would astonish the world and could be right around the corner if only some specific events and particular actions taken by some crucially critical people would materialize, but such things are unfortunately not looking ready to occur. So, let’s dive in and see what needs to be shaking.

 

Anti-Israel Protests

 

One of the first items which everybody a week ago thought was fair accompli and about to happen as soon as all the arrangements were done and ground was broken was the repeated statement once more by a candidate for President of the United States that the American Embassy in Israel would be moved from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. Candidate Donald Trump promised, and we quote, “We will move the American Embassy to the eternal capital of the Jewish people, Jerusalem,” speaking to the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) in March. Further he stated this important add-on stating, “The Palestinians must come to the table knowing that the bond between the United States and Israel is absolutely, totally unbreakable.” Well, here we are in week one and already the moving of the American Embassy to Jerusalem has gone from we will to a process where ramifications and complications must be weighed and a cost/benefit analysis performed and all the other irrelevant items being spit out all in an effort to say we are going to do the same old same old. We have already heard of Jordan, the Palestinian Authority and other Arab allies having warned the White House of severe repercussions should it proceed with the move. The threats included a threatened review of bilateral relations with both the US and Israel plus warnings of an upsurge in violence should the embassy be relocated. Please do not tell us that the Trump campaign were not aware of these ramifications when they followed the well-worn path of lying to AIPAC knowing full well that they would turn everything over to the State department and Pentagon and either or both would come back with a report warning against such rash actions as they would inflame the world and the ramifications far outweighed any benefit if there could even be an argument that there exists a benefit. Further, they would question the expense and warn that such simply was politically risky should any of the threats of violence be traced to having moved the Embassy, which the State department would warn they would most likely find as the cause of any terrorism targeting American facilities overseas.

 

So, Trump is not going to be as pro-Israel as advertised, and why should he? Expecting President Trump to be more pro-Israel than Israel is ridiculous, as it should be. We learned this centuries ago and it was most succinctly stated by Rabbi Hillel who wisely asked, “If I am not for myself, then who will be for me? And if I am only for myself, then what am I? And if not now, when?” When, as we mentioned yesterday, the Israeli Security Cabinet voted unanimously to delay discussion on any law annexing Maaleh Adumim, can we expect for President Trump to stick his neck out and move the American Embassy to Israel to Jerusalem when the Israelis main decision makers unanimously refused to even consider annexing just a suburb of East Jerusalem? Of course that would be ridiculous. For proof just read Hillel above and it plainly states that step one will always be us being for what we hold dear before we can expect others to act similarly in our interests. Perhaps it would be a good idea to inundate the members of the Knesset’s e-mails with copies of Hillel’s quote followed by a simply Yiddish question, “Nu?” implying to ask what have you done recently which changes anything. Israel acting weak and timid reflects on everything worldwide simply because Israel is the exemplary representation of Jewish pride and strength and of late Israel has shown neither for quite some time.

 

When Israel acts decisively and boldly projects strength and confidence taking whatever steps necessary to protect their people and the future of the Jewish State, it becomes reflected in the actions by Jews in the world and affects the way Jews are treated. When Israel demands respect as she did during the first half of her brief history, the world respected the Jews and allowed for Jews to be proud and live holding their heads high. As Israel has mired herself and given concession after concession with nothing to show for any of it as the land for peace more represented land for terrorism and Israel appeared weak and Jews started to wear long faces and are soon, if not already, hang their heads and shuffle along giving once again the image of the Jew ready to be kicked and ill-regarded. The ghetto Jews, as it had been called throughout much of modern history, was again the view. The Jews were those people who are to be blamed for all the ills in the world, all the wars, all the hatreds, all the destitution, all of any and every evil imaginable and the Jew could be kicked and spat upon and they would shuffle off accepting any scorn. This persona has become accepted on all too many college and university campuses in the developed world. As Israel is demeaned and seen as threatened and not really taking actions to protect themselves, this places the Jews across the world in jeopardy of attack and other forms of anti-Semitism. These acts have already made numerous cities across Europe actually dangerous to Jews to even so threatening that, as in Malmo, most of the Jews are packing up and departing. The numbers of Jews making Aliyah from France this past year was the highest since the end of World War II and many times the average for any year in the past half century. Further, the Arab world is using their oil wealth to finance those NGOs who coordinate numerous campus groups in anti-Israel and anti-Zionist programs with very obvious and well-coordinated demonstrations and events demeaning Israel and Zionism and by an extension anti-Semitism as many times these actions also lead to direct targeting of the Jews on the campus sometimes placing their lives and health in danger.

 

As noted in the articles linked above, there are campuses in Britain where Jews do not even apply as the atmosphere is that toxic. This is a direct result of Israeli passive resistance to terrorism and apparent trepidation to acting boldly to suppress those acting against her. This has to end but for that to come to pass Israel will need to elect a far more active and bold leadership. This can be done but first an election is necessary and the Israeli Zionists and related activists will need find and promote someone to lead one of the existing parties and then support that party with sufficient votes that they either are the party making the coalition or be the main partner in a coalition with sufficient influence to force definitive action. The United States election set in place an opportunity of a lifetime. The election of Donald Trump as President and the fact that for the first time in memory the House of Representatives, the Senate, the White House and soon even the United States Supreme Court will be Republican or conservative making support for Israel, especially as a fair percentage of Democrats in Congress also support Israel, a given, freeing Israel to act without any ramifications from Washington. This is a situation which has not been seen since the founding of the modern state of Israel and may never return again should it disappear in the next election, a certain possibility as the opponents to President Trump will throw everything they have to at least take back the House of Representatives if not also the Senate. There are no guarantees in American politics but the stars and planets have aligned along with the Congress and White House to favor a bold and take-action Israel, now all that is necessary is leadership willing to take action which will define the state of Israel and the state of Israeli politics for the foreseeable future.

 

The unfortunate unanimous vote by the Prime Minister’s Security Cabinet to delay considerations on annexing Maaleh Adumim must be laid in the lap of Prime Minister Netanyahu as well as any leaders of the presumed Zionist and Religious Zionist parties who are represented in the Security Cabinet such as Naftali Bennet. There can be no excuse other than fear of retributions from European nations who are acting with ill will already towards Israel and also allowing similar disregards for their Jewish citizens throughout their college and university communities and even in many cities and towns. The BDS movement is making strides thanks to the recent United Nations Security Council (UNSC) Resolution 2334 which was facilitated by President Obama who had been rumored was personally involved along with his Secretary of State John Kerry as a means of tying incoming President Trump’s hands in dealing with Israel and in the Middle East. The best way to counter the disastrous implications of that UNSC Resolution is strong and defined actions performed as an in your face Israeli response. The UNSC will not be following up and passing any similar or other damaging resolution against Israel as President Trump will reinstate the American veto of such damaging resolution in the UNSC. The message must be delivered to the Knesset that the irons are hot and it is time to put the hammer to anvil and beat out a favorable fait accompli. The time to annex not only Maaleh Adumim, but Bet El, Ariel, Betar Illit, Modi’in Illit, Har Gilo, Gush Etzion at the least and all of Judea and Samaria returning the PLO, Fatah, and all other terrorist affiliated persons to Tunis or wherever in Europe they would be welcome and give the Arab Palestinians their first hopes for a bright and unencumbered future free of the kleptocracy which has stolen all hope from them for the past near quarter of a century. Will the world, particularly Europe, explode in indignation? Probably, but ride out their initial explosion and with time they will tire of complaining and when things here in Israel settle and the Arabs are slowly but surely incorporated into Israeli society and their lives improve immeasurably, there will be less and less reason to protest eventually leaving no reasons to protest. The future with a secure Israel, and this should be the sole consideration of the Knesset, is with Israel with all the lands promised us between the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea and not sharing it with any terrorist nest guaranteed to feed the world’s need to hate Israel, and by equal measure hate Jews. Israel could do more to guarantee her future and destroy anti-Semitism by simply annexing all of Judea and Samaria, removing those who would continue being a menace and reward those Arabs who desire living in peace with equality and security for all. By acting to assure Israel’s future and boldly protecting Israel, Israel would herself be combatting anti-Semitism in the world with better efficiency than any other actions could dream of accomplishing. The first question is can Netanyahu act or is he so damaged by the strains of leadership that he is no longer capable of acting definitively and securing the Israeli future? The last question is are the Zionist Israelis organized enough to start and continue programs and demonstrations demanding that the Knesset and the Prime Minister with his Security Cabinet act definitively with a minimum of delay as time is precious, and if we might repeat Rabbi Hillel, “If I am not for myself, then who will be for me? And if I am only for myself, then what am I? And if not now, when?”

 

Beyond the Cusp
