Foundations of Pay to Play

 

The Clinton Foundation, or should we call it the Clinton’s Fundnation, where donations of varying sizes were deposited often in direct correlation to the length of time they were granted with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Well, not all the visits with Secretary of State Clinton were linked to contributions to the Clinton Foundation; some were linked to very impressive payments for speeches by one former President William Jefferson Clinton. Of course we are told that there is no smoking gun or definitive proof or actual links, well, provable links. It is remarkable the degree to which far too many highly placed law enforcement agencies and individuals voluntarily develop tunnel vision. It is a miracle they can drive a car safely with such obstructed eyesight. Yet the news has been filled with reports about the horrors and downright dastardly practices and unconscionable business relations which apparently have plagued Donald Trump over the years. We can only assume that previously law enforcement and business oversight and enforcement departments have suffered an equal measure of tunnel vision when it came to policing the business deals of Donald Trump. Of course the surprising item is the lack of law suits brought against Donald Trump if so many of his business dealings were actually as fraudulent as we have been led to believe. There was one business venture though which truly could have qualified as fraudulent had it actually made the guarantees or promises claimed by the media, and that was Trump University. Fortunately for Donald Trump the only actual guarantees given by Trump University were that one might be able to benefit and enrich themselves with the lessons and they would receive a diploma and a picture of them with the facsimile of Donald Trump. The picture with the cardboard Mr. Trump was only worth slightly less than the wisdom one might have gleaned from the lessons. So, there has seemingly been loads of the blind leading the blind in law enforcement around both Presidential candidates if the media reporting on one and the claims of ignoring direct evidence on the other are to be believed. This leads to one big question, which one is the least crooked and least seriously soaked in criminal behavior and thus the lesser choice to be President.

 

I know what you’re thinking, where am I going with this and that I sure started with some twisted and tortured lack of logic. Well, why should editorial commentary here be any less confusing and in the dark than the rest of the media? If you answer is because you have come to expect better, then thank you for your confidence and read on, it will hopefully be worth your time. The problem is that far too many of the politicians are crooked as a broken and twisted ancient oak tree with the varieties of corruption, insider trading (which is actually legal for members of Congress and the members of the Administration of the President), bought and paid for political hacks, politician turned lobbyist and other crimes of unimaginable complexity and criminal behavior obvious even to the most casual of observers which reach out from the rotting central core of the political tree in the ever outward reaching branches seeking new and more imaginable ways to deceive and steal. Are there some politicians who are clean, respectable and trusted to work for their electorate? Astonishingly, yes. Unfortunately they are also the politicians shunned by the opposition party and their own party and unfortunately cannot seem to get together on issues due to their different beliefs and political orientations. If only there were some means of getting the true representatives of the people to work to clean up the rest of the political quagmire, that would be simply grand. Unfortunately most of the truly honest representatives of the people fall into one of a few categories, socialists even bordering on communist, religious conservatives often referred to as the religious right, and the true believers of causes which are as varied as often separate be the narrowest of degrees yet still chasing mutually exclusive dreams as one can paint. There are likely more than a dozen of causes which come under the ecological umbrella from save the whales or the seal cubs to save the rain forests as well as stop acid rain who sometimes protest with the save the oceans and even save the polar bears who have been taking care of themselves quite well. Then there are those who want electric cars, hydrogen cell cars, universal transports which take everyone to their destinations, public transport such as busses, light rail or subways and those who want to ban all vehicles which run on petroleum even including aircraft and the rigs without which we would soon have less choices of food and other goods, but that is not their concern. There are some who desire making the United States a Christian based nation where Christianity would become the recognized religion of their state or even the nation. And then there are our favorites, the constitutionalists who simply desire to have the United States return to the limitations intended by the Founding Fathers.

Those chasing causes, dreams some call them, are probably the least harmful as they are easily predictable and can be clearly understood. The less than honest politicians are also predictable once their motivations and those who own their pocketbook are understood. There are those who have so many positing bribes, sorry, contributions and charitable donations, which work their way back to the politicians through nefarious and twisted paths making them not so obvious. Let us say that a politician or group of politicians receive contributions to their campaigns and to supportive political action committees (PACs) as well as donations to charities or other groups who also contribute to the election campaigns where all this cash finds its way back to the politicians and they simply promote a bill which provides funding for some aid package helping the poor or the sick in impoverished nations which in turn buy drugs or food using much of the aid from the United States from those who initially arranged the funding from the varied sources for their campaigns. The twisted paths and the indirect funding leads to crossing the eyes of any investigations such as there is nothing directly untoward making these actions prosecutable. There are thousands of scams which have been operating for more years than any care to admit. Ask historians or political studies professors and one can learn that these problems assisted in the fall of empires past and have predated writing. There are theories about what is the oldest profession and it very well may turn out it was politician and the first politician was the individual who convinced the leader of their clan that they needed a religion and they should be the priest or medicine man or any position which did not require brawn as much as brains. That politicians got to eat without having to hunt as hunting was dangerous and too often the hunting parties came back minus one or more members while priests or medicine men stayed at the camp near the fires and out of the rain.

 

We have come a far way since then and now we have entire echelons of politicians in layers upon layers doing all sorts of functions. But in modern society the politician is not the greatest menace, just the most efficient ones where the greatest concentration of money can be found. The menace are those faceless individuals who sit in offices and cubicles making up rules and regulations and even law in some instances when directed to flesh out legislation which is all too often loosely written and paints broad swipes leaving room for interpretations and that leads to mischief. There was a temporary position a number of years back which was referred to as the Regulations Czar whose lead individual was Cass Sunstein known officially as Administrator of the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs, Office of Management and Budget. The position was directed to review laws and legislation from the last fifty years or so and define or formulate new regulations which could be enacted with a special emphasis to use these reviews to enact and formulate regulations supporting policies the Administration was having difficulty passing through Congress. How many thousands of additional regulations were discovered hiding in laws recent or ancient we probably will never discern. Things have gotten to a choking point with the numbers of regulations, requirements and other rules holding an equivalence of laws that the average citizen cannot be expected to even have knowledge of the extents and depth of what is considered illegal and can place one on the wrong side of the law in court. The sad truth is difficult to put one’s arms around but be it the United Statesor be it Briton or any nation in Europe or potentially the entire world, the reality is we all break laws as part of our normal everyday lives and the criminality of living increases by thousands of new laws and regulations annually. This is the real criminal output of politicians who are paid to pass laws which outright or through inferred regulations give those who can pay an advantage over the rest of the population. This is the crooked legacy which is almost as criminal as the money stolen from our pockets through taxes, fees or higher prices so that others can benefit from corrupt politicians. This is why elections matter and primary elections this year proved to be the surprising ones which mattered. In the United States the choice is between two political forces either of which will provide the media, and especially us if we choose, more to cover than they will know what to do with. One will have half the media screaming about the illegalities with the other half excusing it while the other will have half most of the media claiming they are completely lost as to what are the motivations of the actions from the White House and others will play the game of guess what’s up next. Either way we will have plenty of news we just as soon would rather tune out, but it will affect our lives and the effects will be anywhere from minor inconveniences to drastic enough to threaten the entire planet. The real problem is none of the candidates, including third party, have even an inkling about the state of the world and what needs be done to repair the most egregious of the difficulties or threats, and it will be some of the threat which will offer the greatest danger if not mitigated and mitigated right out of the gate. Many will claim that will simply cause more difficulty but indifference to the world of problems has worked so well that we’ll gladly risk actually addressing threats and problems over leading from so far behind you may as well not be there at all, which too often was the case, Benghazi anyone? Please America, choose well.

It’s an Upside-Down Topsy-Turvy World

 

Many times we look at things the way they are and simply scratch our collective heads and wonder: When did the world go off the tracks? Who was at the helm asleep? Am I the only one who sees things like this? How did it get so bad? What went wrong? How can we get things straightened out? Will I and the few others have to take this on alone? And the biggest question: Where do we start? Let us start with the good news which is that you already have taken that first step as have millions of others. The bad news is that yes, it is going to seem like we the so few are initially going to have to attempt this alone. But the outlook had more good news than bad because slowly more and more of us are waking to see the problem. Unfortunately, all too many of us are having great amounts of difficulty taking that first step towards a new tomorrow. The reason for that is we are trying to use the tools which created the problem to repair the damage and that simply cannot work. We need to look deep in our hearts to find what has been missing. Many, myself included, see that much of the solution can be found in religion and the lessons it teaches and its focus on family, children and the future. Without these three ideas and ideals and all that is built around them, there is no solution and what we are fighting for is ridiculed and belittled as superstitious religion. The idea is to take the entirety of any future into their own hands and reserving it for their children and only their children, not for the rest of us. They still want us to have children just as long as there are not too many of them and they are willing to perform the menial functions in service of their betters.

 

The problems with much of society today are the ideas that we are to live our lives for ourselves and to maximize our own pleasures. Just look at the solutions and where they lead. If you are pregnant and are not ready to give up your lifestyle or not financially ready to afford a child or any of a million reasons in modern society for not starting a family, then simply have an abortion and do not let anyone tell you that it is selfish and you are killing a human life. You have your life and your reasons and can think for yourself. Empower yourself and you can always start a family later, when you are ready and after you have had as much fun as you deserve so don’t let it bother you, you are doing the right thing. Anyways, you did not actually plan this pregnancy and have not taken the necessary preparations for having such a burden right now, later when you are settled and have achieved that level and reached your potential, then you will be ready and you can start your family, after all, there is that promotion at work and just think what this would do to your chances of advancing? This reasoning has become so prevalent in societies across the advanced world that as many as half of all pregnancies in those communities result in abortions. This has cut the number of children being born to well below replacement level and those societies are slowly eradicating themselves, some doing so not all that slowly. The greatest occurrence of this style of thinking is plaguing Europe where there are insufficient births to produce the numbers which their society needs to replace the workforce and provide the resources for continuing the healthy operation of the society.

 

Throughout the Western World there has been a steady decline in babies born to each generation placing an ever increasing burden on each individual member of the next generation to provide sufficient taxes to care for the retired from the previous generation who are living longer and longer lives thus demanding more financing to cover their senior benefits. The youth are seeing this burden and realizing that there is no possibility of these benefits being there for them when they retire. Eventually, and more likely sooner rather than later, the youth are going to revolt against this retirement arrangement and might very likely place a cap on the age where people can continue receiving these benefits if they have the ability. The problem they will face is that there will be more people close to or already receiving these benefits for them to be voted out of existence. It really is a self-perpetuating problem. What is the solution? Simple, have more children and stop listening to those who constantly tell you that the planet cannot support that many people because unless an unforeseen widespread disaster were to strike, the earth could produce three times the food simply by bringing modern technology to the areas where farmers are still using what can only be described as primitive methods of farming. The lack of having sufficient children in each generation to at least meet replacement levels is a large part of the societal problem being faced as in order to have the present society function even at the previous generational level there comes a need to allow larger and larger numbers of immigrants often from areas which are less advanced and requiring training to meet the job requirements and permit the continued function of society. Of course the same safety net which was designed for a society with a work ethic which has been lost to too much of modern societies such as those causing the problems in Europe where the native population and its societal norms rapidly becoming the minority and their social norms being replaced by an alien set of societal norms and this is racing to the tipping-point beyond which there will be no turning back.

 

The simplest reason behind the failure of Western society is that it has stopped investing in the future in the most basic manner, offspring. Having children was a directive of religion as part of the concept of be plentiful and multiply. Modern society says experience and enjoy the pleasures and wonders of the plenty the world we have built provides and don’t worry about tomorrow, it will soon be here and yesterday gone, and that is a part of the problem, we allow too many yesterdays to be gone and unalterable and often each generation has experienced life to a later age before having families, so much so that the childbearing years have passed and many couples have one child or even no child. Replacement levels are approximately two and one tenth children per woman in the society. The problem comes when a large portion of the society has under this reproductive replacement rate placing a larger portion for replacement level reproduction on the remaining women making the new replacement level to rise to as high as five children per reproductively active young women.

 

The source of the lack of children in a society comes as a direct result of the ethos of live for today and let tomorrow take care of itself. This is the sirens’ call which combined with the accusation that religion had no place in modern society as science is the new religion and where to turn for our answers. Religion has been belittled as something society has left behind along with all those other superstitions such as the existence of G0d. The claim has become that there is nothing higher than mankind and that we are to be subservient to the newest provider of all freedoms, the all-powerful State. We are no longer to seek the reason for our rights coming from our Creator but from the structures we have placed over us to rule though we continue to retain our right, for the time being, to elect our representatives. The proof of how powerless the individual has become one need not look any further than the numbers of bureaucrats who are tasked to facelessly craft the regulations and actual enforcement codes required allowing for the legislations passed by the Government to be enforceable. The idea for replacing religion with government and the guarantor of our freedoms to the State and not from our Creator the transformation has been completed where the State is now responsible for our freedoms and as such can restrict or even do completely away with any freedoms which are not specifically enumerated as coming from forces outside of government, and even these are being circumvented whenever possible or, at the very least, being defined as coming under enforcement by the State and eventually at the pleasure of the State. This transition changes the society into a social-democratic republic which is based on the rules from man leading to have made our governance under the rule of man more than the rule of law. This eventually leads to a society where there are the elites who see to the definitions of the law and their enforcement and the rest of the society which obeys the regulator’s rules. This is an impossible task as there exist far too many codes, laws and regulations on the books thus causing a situation where if government desires to turn a person, say an individual attempting to change the way the rules are enforced from the rules of men to a more lofty goal of living under the guidance of a higher truth which protects our freedoms making it so that no man is able to take away our rights, such a person threatens the all-powerful State and leads to the State proving the futility of challenging the rule of man which stands over our societies. Still, no matter how difficult it may result in being or how steep the challenge, we need to restore a higher authority for our laws and protector of our individual rights because should one look throughout history we will witness how mere mortal men cannot be trusted to safeguard our individual freedoms as only by claiming and forcing the society into believing that their freedoms are issued by government and thus can be positioned to lord over the rest of the society. As long as we permit the State to define our liberties and freedoms we will remain as slaves to the governing mechanisms and the men who sit faceless meting out regulations and taking or granting those freedoms and liberties which used to claim our Creator as their source as now the State claims that power. We should return and place our faith where it belongs and as much of our coinage cries out, In G0d We Trust and never, ever in man we trust as man is fallible and greedy and G0d is all knowing and all caring. Where would you wish to place your trust, in some unknown and unseen bureaucrat or in the all-seeing and beneficent G0d? I know where I place my future and the future of my family though we also understand that mankind is capable of great strides, they will never reach a point where they are even remotely comparable to the Almighty, praised be His Name and His Glorious Kingdom for the L0rd our G0d, the L0rd is One.

Will it be a Happy New Year?

 

Here we are just beyond the cusp from the old year to this New Year and all our hopes and fears are possible if only things play out as we all hope and believe they will. Perhaps we can help by attempting to spell out some of the trends and events we believe are likely including politics, sciences, automations, artificial intelligence, international relations, government intrusions, healthcare, and other odds and ends. These predictions are nothing more than suppositions, guesses and hypothetical potentialities. There are no guarantees and are intended for amusement and should not be used in order to make financial, healthcare, social, political or other life functions as there are no guarantees nor are these commentaries constituting an actual view of future realities. With the warnings and other legalese protecting us here at BTC from any legal actions from people who claimed they used these predictions as a basis for their future actions or investments, we can continue with the regular postings.

 

Just as the twentieth century was the century of electronic and information technology, the twenty-first century will be largely the century of medical technology advancements. Physicians have already built a replacement skull by constructing it to fit perfectly after being programmed and having it printed by a 3-D printer utilizing a plastic compound and implanted it into a young woman replacing her diseased skull which was growing thicker and placing pressures and stresses on her brain making her incapable of living a normal life. These 3-D printers have already been utilized to ‘print’ prosthetic eyes at such a rate as to make them commercially viable. There has been the utilization of a heart from a cadaver which had been harvested within the first thirty minutes and then perfusion-based machine to supply the heart with oxygen, and to keep the organ fresh, it is inject it with a preservation solution allowing the transplant of the organ into the recipient using the organ from a cadaver even after a short period. This procedure will permit the use of organs from a wider number of donors and save more lives. We will very likely begin to see cures for more cancers using less invasive methods including using nanobots (microscopic robotic units) which will be capable of identifying the cancerous cells and destroying them by attaching the nanobots containing a few atoms of gold inside the cells which will allow a directed RF-signal (radio frequency) which will cause the gold atoms to heat and destroy the cancerous cells without harming surrounding tissues which are not diseased. There will be detection methods for detecting diseases earlier making them more readily treated as well as potentially preventing pandemics by screening passengers before they board flights thus containing the disease. There will be advances in extending the life expectancy potentially possible of extending the human term of life to centuries rather than merely decades. There will come the manufacturing of replacement organs using one’s own stem cells derived from regular skin cells using the 3-D printers which will be capable of printing organs replete with blood vessels crossing the final hurdle. There will be discoveries permitting the implantation of augmentation devices creating superior human beings possessing what might be described as super powers. Finally, there may be found the use of hybridized replacement organs and limbs making the production of cybernetic bodies using just ones actual biological brain allowing a form of immortality within a purely robotic body, a kind of Brain in a Bot. The coming advances in medicine will be so mind-boggling that basically anything one can imagine may become reality. Many of the most advanced inventions will provide enhanced augmentations in the areas of understanding the mind and abilities to read thoughts simply by taking a scan of one’s brain and potentially finding ways of using telepathy. Another main area where advances will be felt further into the future but have traced their origins to the present will tend to be around DNA research and experimentation which is not quite yet at the stage for use with humans. These areas also leave us with a threat whose warning should be taken to heart by all on the leading edges of technology, make sure that the containment is secured and please be careful not to develop life with which mankind cannot survive. The areas for advancement are near endless.

 

The end of the effectiveness for the nonproliferation of nuclear weapons will change the balance of power around the globe as the ability to build deliverable devices equivalent to some of the most powerful nuclear weapons held today by a relatively small and exclusive group of nations. There will be an ever increasing possibility for a nuclear armed nation to annihilate the population living in major cities of a rival enemy nation resulting from fear of attack triggering the release of a preemptive attack aiming to deliver a knockout to their enemy. This may even lead to an escalation triggering an even broader use of nuclear weapons escalating in much the same fashion as World War I spread except these wars will be single strike and retaliatory strikes leaving a world of destroyed countries laid waste as the result of a single action. The next world encompassing war will not be over oil but over an even more precious resource, water. There will continue to be the threat of war to gain land and expand one’s influence or potentially simply to reapply control over areas which were previously part of one’s national influence. One such instance threatening the world currently is Russia which is threatening its immediate neighbors, particularly those which were part of the Warsaw Pact of nations. There is the potential for China to act on the areas she claims with Taiwan being the largest threat to trigger a greater conflict. Then there is the Middle East which is always a threat for war and even the use of weapons of mass destruction. Add the potential for nuclear terrorism and you have the perfect storm possibility. Then there is always the possibility for what is referred to as a failed state getting their hands on nuclear weapons and utilizing them to settle an internal problem such as what is currently destroying Syria.

 

Cyber wars will escalate with the potential for a cyber-attack to take out an adversary’s electrical grid potentially causing the death of millions. The danger of such an attack coming from a terrorist group or even from a sole individual who would perceive committing such an assault as deserved and the consequences for innocents to be harmed would not even enter their thoughts or be an intended part of the assault. What is even more deadly is the interception of such an attack and even before the actual culprit is identified that a return strike is perpetrated which actually begins an actual war having potential horrors possible are impossible to imagine. Cyber-attacks or other assault which takes away the advanced systems of any nation would be a catastrophe beyond measure and such an attack could trigger a greater response even before the actual culprit could be identified. A recent example was recently in the news over the Sony cyber-attack which was initially identified as an attack from North Korea and then some suspected Russia and then the attentions were tuned on a disgruntled ex-employee who was recently let go by Sony.

 

Towards the end of this year the race for the White House will significantly ramp up as the primary season will thus be upon the United States. This election cycle will start even earlier than usual as neither the Democrats or the Republicans have an actual frontrunner despite all the hype of a Clinton-Bush electoral battle attempting to suck the air out of the room making any outside threat potentially impossible, but there are always those few who find a way through the cracks and make the primaries become an open field where anybody can win. Basically, both of the major two parties have frontrunners whom their most vocal base are displeased with and desire new leadership. It would be a safe bet that at least one of the major parties to witness the breakoff of a new party which would take significant numbers of votes away from its parent party. Contrary to the ever-present concept that the Tea Party might split from the Republican Party is unlikely as they have no candidate to coalesce around as do those Democrats, who are so far to the left that some of their ideas sound almost Tea Party-like ideas, in Elizabeth Warren, a candidate who can stir up and excite those who may find the main party candidate to be insufficiently liberal enough in their view and they simply might form their own party out of frustration at their establishment candidate. Whatever the end results, the process for reaching those results will be even more excited and contested than ever; are you ready?

 

Another area which is drawing close to making it beyond the cusp and introducing a new concept is the automotive industry. It may be a revolutionary new battery which will allow for taking lengthy trips by automobiles powered solely by the new batteries which will be readily rechargeable such that even a multiple day cross country or continent trip can be realized. Hopefully any such battery system would have a prolonged lifecycle that would last well beyond seven to ten years making such an investment worth the money. Having a vehicle whose power plant which becomes useless and must be replaced every decade at a cost of three-quarters the price of the vehicle when it was new makes investing and buying such a vehicle problematic as the batteries need be replaced after a decade at a harsh price rivaling the original price of the vehicle. Maybe there are not any drivers who buy a vehicle and drive them until the wheels come off of it and only then trade them in after twenty years. The other area which will have a huge effect on the automotive industry is the new oil and gas finds in the eastern Mediterranean, the north above the Arctic Circle, the Canadian tar sands, the Dakotas in the United States and who can predict the next great deposit which will drive the price of energy back to more reasonable rates. This is not entirely the reason for the current low price for crude oil though it is a part. The current drop, as if going over a cliff, is largely due to Saudi Arabia taking on those they fear are threats to their oil wealth. These include the sabre rattling coming from Iran and due to supporting Iran, Russia, have been the main perceived threats on the Saudi Arabian oil fields themselves, and also the fracking being used in the Dakotas. Saudi Arabia can afford to sell oil at a significant loss by making up for such loss of revenue through backing their sales with their personal wealth or even take out loans as they have no or minimal debt currently. The low prices take into account for the fact that at anything under approximately seventy-five dollars a barrel the Iranians are selling their oil at a loss, something they are incapable of doing so for any prolonged period. This same financial picture is true for many of the western finds such as the Canadian tar sands and the Dakota finds in the United States as the Canadian tar sands produce some of the lowest yields per dollar and despite the refinement costs being minimal yield from the tar sands making them unprofitable while in the Dakotas the problem stems from the initial investment in specific equipment to meet their specific requirements thus making them too in the camp requiring a higher price for a greater return. The effect on Russia has already been made evident with the drop in worth of the Ruble and we can assume the problems are similar in Iran.

 

The private exploration of space has been slowly growing though much of the advances have yet to be publicized. That is very likely about to change and the advancements are going to be completely astonishing. More and more NASA launches will be performed by mostly private companies. The same will apply for companies who require orbital launch capabilities such as communications companies and surveillance requirements such as those utilized for weather predictions and assisting farmers. It would not be overly surprising to have one of the private space exploration and eventual colonization, mining, power production and eventually deep space exploration to announce their intents to build a space dock orbiting the Sun directly behind or ahead of the Earth which they hope to open to space tourism which will grow as the prices become more reasonable with time. There is the possibility for another space race back to the Moon with one critical difference, this time mankind intends to stay establishing a lunar space colony and habitat. This is the frontier which offers the greatest chance of making a breakthrough which will completely alter the future of mankind be it a warp drive engine, a hydrogen fueled fusion powered engine or other mind-boggling invention opening up space exploration to even distant stars.

 

There is one front which has not been defeated, terrorism in all its manifestations. Terrorism will continue for as long as there are those who feel their cause, religion, nation, or grievance gives them the right to utilize violence against targets both strategic and innocents in order to force a critical reckoning whereby their beliefs, they and those who agree or provide the tools for the terror, will gain some advantage. Terrorism is far from something new as it has been used as an effective weapon since the dawn of human attempts at civilization. Terrorism and the terrorists who find it necessary to resort to such means mostly are produced in places where individual freedoms are few if any and the governance is not representative nor are the rules made by the people or for the people but rather, like those who rule, the rules are pressed upon the people and their acquiescence is demanded and any divergence is quickly and violently suppressed. It makes little difference that violent terrorism is mostly counterproductive and will eventually turn away those who might have supported your struggle but are repulsed by the brutality which always accompanies terrorism. Terrorism will very possibly attain new and more destructive levels and may turn to weapons of greater destruction and potentially contamination by chemical, biological or even nuclear radiation which are all classified as weapons of mass destruction (WMD). There is not a great risk that such terrorism will develop into open warfare beyond those places which have mostly are currently dealing with terrorism. Proof exists that there are two major sponsors which finance and train the majority, Iran and the Muslim Brotherhood (الإخوان المسلمون al-Ikhwān al-Muslimūn). The main bodies financed by Iran are those Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRCG) operatives worldwide along with sleeper cells and Hezballah and their worldwide operatives and sleeper cells. Iran has been financing Hamas mostly so they can open violence and conflict on both the northern and the southern borders but this financing and training is intermittent and often comes with directions and demands. The Muslim Brotherhood has spawned nearly countless groups which include but are not limited to al-Qaeda, Taliban, Hamas, al-Nusra Front, International Institute for Islamic Thought (IIIT), Muslim American Society (MAS), and numerous other associations, groups, societies, plus numerous Muslim and Islamic groups on college campuses throughout the Western World. In many instances the Muslim Brotherhood would open two groups in any major university city registering both with the university or college such that they could use one predominantly in their demonstrations taking things to extremes including intimidation and shouting down any dissenters. If and when, and it was often when, their first group faced censure or even expulsion from the campus, the other group would step up its activities and give much of the structure from remaining the same. It is not a problem for the Muslim Brotherhood to use deceit as the Quran instructs the adherents to Islam to use deceit to fool the unbeliever. There is a word for such deceit, Taqiyya, and it is a concept woven into the fabric of Islam and is why any nonbeliever must not, and by all forms of logic, cannot believe or completely trust the information provided unless it has been verified by a second source which is verifiably unaffiliated with any groups or individuals from an Islamic influence.
