The existence of anti-Semitism across Europe, Canada, the United States and the rest of the developed world, particularly on college campuses, is growing and will soon be beyond control and spread throughout society. The first waves will soon break out as today’s college students being steeped in anti-Israel, anti-Zionist and anti-Semitic programs and virtual pogroms graduate and bring their toxic views into the political world and then the workplace and society as a whole. These indoctrinations are presented as presumed pro-Palestinian protests such as Israel Apartheid Week, mock checkpoints, demonstrations blocking campus access portraying the Israeli security barrier as the modern version of the Berlin Wall or the Warsaw Ghetto Walls as well as faux eviction notices placed on Jewish and pro-Israel students’ dorm rooms claiming their rooms are to be demolished as protest of terror home demolitions and simple, straight out physical intimidation of Jewish and pro-Israel students. For further observations and documentations one can start with these two articles; Pay No Attention to the Man Behind the Curtain and Hotbeds of Anti-Semitism in British Academia or use the results from a simple search engine results for anti-Semitism on college campus we performed as a free service to make life easier.

This article is not out to bang the drum which already has been accomplished to the point that a complete percussion section has been added to the anti-Semitism orchestrated noises around the world just covering college campuses and in some cases it spreading to public high schools. This is following a normal progression for many politicized items as has been tracked with other subjects such as global climate change, equal opportunity, affirmative actions, LGBTQ rights and other highly charged political subjects from our modern societies. We will be taking a different tact driving to perceive what is probably the one major change which if taken would help rid the entire developed world from this pernicious evil. We will leave the proof to the links above and what will probably be more than sufficient numbers of articles which are sure to continue to surface. That could change and do so with a rapidity that would astonish the world and could be right around the corner if only some specific events and particular actions taken by some crucially critical people would materialize, but such things are unfortunately not looking ready to occur. So, let’s dive in and see what needs to be shaking.

Anti-Israel Protests

Anti-Israel Protests

One of the first items which everybody a week ago thought was fair accompli and about to happen as soon as all the arrangements were done and ground was broken was the repeated statement once more by a candidate for President of the United States that the American Embassy in Israel would be moved from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. Candidate Donald Trump promised, and we quote, “We will move the American Embassy to the eternal capital of the Jewish people, Jerusalem,” speaking to the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) in March. Further he stated this important add-on stating, “The Palestinians must come to the table knowing that the bond between the United States and Israel is absolutely, totally unbreakable.” Well, here we are in week one and already the moving of the American Embassy to Jerusalem has gone from we will to a process where ramifications and complications must be weighed and a cost/benefit analysis performed and all the other irrelevant items being spit out all in an effort to say we are going to do the same old same old. We have already heard of Jordan, the Palestinian Authority and other Arab allies having warned the White House of severe repercussions should it proceed with the move. The threats included a threatened review of bilateral relations with both the US and Israel plus warnings of an upsurge in violence should the embassy be relocated. Please do not tell us that the Trump campaign were not aware of these ramifications when they followed the well-worn path of lying to AIPAC knowing full well that they would turn everything over to the State department and Pentagon and either or both would come back with a report warning against such rash actions as they would inflame the world and the ramifications far outweighed any benefit if there could even be an argument that there exists a benefit. Further, they would question the expense and warn that such simply was politically risky should any of the threats of violence be traced to having moved the Embassy, which the State department would warn they would most likely find as the cause of any terrorism targeting American facilities overseas.

So, Trump is not going to be as pro-Israel as advertised, and why should he? Expecting President Trump to be more pro-Israel than Israel is ridiculous, as it should be. We learned this centuries ago and it was most succinctly stated by Rabbi Hillel who wisely asked, “If I am not for myself, then who will be for me? And if I am only for myself, then what am I? And if not now, when?” When, as we mentioned yesterday, the Israeli Security Cabinet voted unanimously to delay discussion on any law annexing Maaleh Adumim, can we expect for President Trump to stick his neck out and move the American Embassy to Israel to Jerusalem when the Israelis main decision makers unanimously refused to even consider annexing just a suburb of East Jerusalem? Of course that would be ridiculous. For proof just read Hillel above and it plainly states that step one will always be us being for what we hold dear before we can expect others to act similarly in our interests. Perhaps it would be a good idea to inundate the members of the Knesset’s e-mails with copies of Hillel’s quote followed by a simply Yiddish question, “Nu?” implying to ask what have you done recently which changes anything. Israel acting weak and timid reflects on everything worldwide simply because Israel is the exemplary representation of Jewish pride and strength and of late Israel has shown neither for quite some time.

When Israel acts decisively and boldly projects strength and confidence taking whatever steps necessary to protect their people and the future of the Jewish State, it becomes reflected in the actions by Jews in the world and affects the way Jews are treated. When Israel demands respect as she did during the first half of her brief history, the world respected the Jews and allowed for Jews to be proud and live holding their heads high. As Israel has mired herself and given concession after concession with nothing to show for any of it as the land for peace more represented land for terrorism and Israel appeared weak and Jews started to wear long faces and are soon, if not already, hang their heads and shuffle along giving once again the image of the Jew ready to be kicked and ill-regarded. The ghetto Jews, as it had been called throughout much of modern history, was again the view. The Jews were those people who are to be blamed for all the ills in the world, all the wars, all the hatreds, all the destitution, all of any and every evil imaginable and the Jew could be kicked and spat upon and they would shuffle off accepting any scorn. This persona has become accepted on all too many college and university campuses in the developed world. As Israel is demeaned and seen as threatened and not really taking actions to protect themselves, this places the Jews across the world in jeopardy of attack and other forms of anti-Semitism. These acts have already made numerous cities across Europe actually dangerous to Jews to even so threatening that, as in Malmo, most of the Jews are packing up and departing. The numbers of Jews making Aliyah from France this past year was the highest since the end of World War II and many times the average for any year in the past half century. Further, the Arab world is using their oil wealth to finance those NGOs who coordinate numerous campus groups in anti-Israel and anti-Zionist programs with very obvious and well-coordinated demonstrations and events demeaning Israel and Zionism and by an extension anti-Semitism as many times these actions also lead to direct targeting of the Jews on the campus sometimes placing their lives and health in danger.

As noted in the articles linked above, there are campuses in Britain where Jews do not even apply as the atmosphere is that toxic. This is a direct result of Israeli passive resistance to terrorism and apparent trepidation to acting boldly to suppress those acting against her. This has to end but for that to come to pass Israel will need to elect a far more active and bold leadership. This can be done but first an election is necessary and the Israeli Zionists and related activists will need find and promote someone to lead one of the existing parties and then support that party with sufficient votes that they either are the party making the coalition or be the main partner in a coalition with sufficient influence to force definitive action. The United States election set in place an opportunity of a lifetime. The election of Donald Trump as President and the fact that for the first time in memory the House of Representatives, the Senate, the White House and soon even the United States Supreme Court will be Republican or conservative making support for Israel, especially as a fair percentage of Democrats in Congress also support Israel, a given, freeing Israel to act without any ramifications from Washington. This is a situation which has not been seen since the founding of the modern state of Israel and may never return again should it disappear in the next election, a certain possibility as the opponents to President Trump will throw everything they have to at least take back the House of Representatives if not also the Senate. There are no guarantees in American politics but the stars and planets have aligned along with the Congress and White House to favor a bold and take-action Israel, now all that is necessary is leadership willing to take action which will define the state of Israel and the state of Israeli politics for the foreseeable future.

The unfortunate unanimous vote by the Prime Minister’s Security Cabinet to delay considerations on annexing Maaleh Adumim must be laid in the lap of Prime Minister Netanyahu as well as any leaders of the presumed Zionist and Religious Zionist parties who are represented in the Security Cabinet such as Naftali Bennet. There can be no excuse other than fear of retributions from European nations who are acting with ill will already towards Israel and also allowing similar disregards for their Jewish citizens throughout their college and university communities and even in many cities and towns. The BDS movement is making strides thanks to the recent United Nations Security Council (UNSC) Resolution 2334 which was facilitated by President Obama who had been rumored was personally involved along with his Secretary of State John Kerry as a means of tying incoming President Trump’s hands in dealing with Israel and in the Middle East. The best way to counter the disastrous implications of that UNSC Resolution is strong and defined actions performed as an in your face Israeli response. The UNSC will not be following up and passing any similar or other damaging resolution against Israel as President Trump will reinstate the American veto of such damaging resolution in the UNSC. The message must be delivered to the Knesset that the irons are hot and it is time to put the hammer to anvil and beat out a favorable fait accompli. The time to annex not only Maaleh Adumim, but Bet El, Ariel, Betar Illit, Modi’in Illit, Har Gilo, Gush Etzion at the least and all of Judea and Samaria returning the PLO, Fatah, and all other terrorist affiliated persons to Tunis or wherever in Europe they would be welcome and give the Arab Palestinians their first hopes for a bright and unencumbered future free of the kleptocracy which has stolen all hope from them for the past near quarter of a century. Will the world, particularly Europe, explode in indignation? Probably, but ride out their initial explosion and with time they will tire of complaining and when things here in Israel settle and the Arabs are slowly but surely incorporated into Israeli society and their lives improve immeasurably, there will be less and less reason to protest eventually leaving no reasons to protest. The future with a secure Israel, and this should be the sole consideration of the Knesset, is with Israel with all the lands promised us between the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea and not sharing it with any terrorist nest guaranteed to feed the world’s need to hate Israel, and by equal measure hate Jews. Israel could do more to guarantee her future and destroy anti-Semitism by simply annexing all of Judea and Samaria, removing those who would continue being a menace and reward those Arabs who desire living in peace with equality and security for all. By acting to assure Israel’s future and boldly protecting Israel, Israel would herself be combatting anti-Semitism in the world with better efficiency than any other actions could dream of accomplishing. The first question is can Netanyahu act or is he so damaged by the strains of leadership that he is no longer capable of acting definitively and securing the Israeli future? The last question is are the Zionist Israelis organized enough to start and continue programs and demonstrations demanding that the Knesset and the Prime Minister with his Security Cabinet act definitively with a minimum of delay as time is precious, and if we might repeat Rabbi Hillel, “If I am not for myself, then who will be for me? And if I am only for myself, then what am I? And if not now, when?”

Paris Conference in Paris and Inevitable Challenges

Tomorrow, Sunday January 15, 2017, will be a date that will start the cause of infamy when seventy nations convene in Paris, France to craft the future war in the Middle East. The organizers of this confab have already met with Mahmoud Abbas and his terrorist supporters and carefully created the closest they dare go in granting the Arab Palestinian Authority their wildest desires, the end of Israel. They will give the Arab world the one item they have hoped for ever since they fought the June 5 – 10, 1967, Six Day War; a redo from the original borders. The seventy nations will include the United States which will be represented by President Short Term Barack Obama’s puppet and lackey, Secretary of State Kerry who was instrumental in meeting with Abbas in Nablus to craft the finalization of the formation of a new Arab nation named Palestine cut from the legal borders of Israel as per more treaties than we care to list again, the League of Nations, the Mandate System and Article 80 of the UN Charter which binds the world to that very Mandate System which set the eastern Israeli border as the Jordan River. Also included among the nations and others joining the United States and France will be European Union Foreign Minister Federica Mogherini, a representative of the United Nations, many Foreign Ministers from European nations, a number of the Sunni Arab nations high representatives, advisors from numerous anti-Israeli NGO’s for a reasoned flavor of authenticity and fairness and various other national representatives to round out the merry band of vigilante diplomacy. The truth be told, this is an internationally prearranged lynching where under the direction of France, the United States President and his State Department, the European Union, selected leftist pro-Palestinian Arab nations and the usual anti-Israel third world nations being brought together to give the feel of an authentic and reasoned conference which has the backing of the world and thus is really dispensing justice. Israel has denounced this conference knowing that the final decision has already been set in cement and left to dry.

Protesters in support of Palestinians in Gaza last weekend displayed a swastika at a Paris rally. The demonstration had been banned by the government and prompted deployment of police.

There is little left to chance and the only item which will be decided at the conference is how long they will appear to debate and deliberate before all but unanimously approving the pre-prepared proposition for an “equitable” resolution to the Arab-Israeli conflict, the misnamed Palestinian-Israeli conflict as the Palestinian Arabs are simply the bludgeon with which the Arab world had attempted for years to beat Israel into submission and return them to the pre-June 1967 borders, press Israel back within the 1949 Armistice Line also referred to as the Green Line. After the ill-fated October 6–25, 1973, Yom Kippur War where the Arab allies of Egypt and Syria believed they would be able to defeat Israel if they caught them completely unprepared for an attack. Their plan worked as they caught Israel literally deep in prayers and unaware and unable to recall their military as the soldiers were in Synagogue and all transportation and communications were all either closed or in holiday mode. Eventually the Israelis cobbled together their units and survived. What was learned that month was had Israel not still held the Sinai Peninsula and Judea and Samaria (West Bank) and should there have been additional forces attacking from Judea and Samaria backed by other Arab nations with Israel within the pre-June 1967 borders, the Arabs would have had a very good chance of being in Tel Aviv under similar conditions of surprise. The first and most vital need for an Arab victory and the erasure of Israel is to force Israel back behind the Green Line. The next requirement is for a heavily armed and ready force within Judea and Samaria. With such in place the Arab assault to eradicate Israel would be assured. Such an assault would be initiated with rockets fired from the Judean Hills overlooking central Israel. These rockets would initially be a few the first week and a slow ramping with accuracy guaranteed by having direct visual ranging from the Judean cliffs and the world cautioning Israel to remember the peace agreement and not to react harshly. Israel would be condemned as foolish for any concerns and would be told that the government of “Palestine” was not behind the attacks and was doing everything possible to apprehend those responsible and were very concerned that Israel might react foolishly and hold them responsible for these horrific attacks. The United Nations would call emergency meetings which would issue warning after warning to Israel not to take matters into its own hands as doing so would break the Israeli obligation from the Paris accords which were confirmed and formed the core of the UNSC Chapter Seven Resolution establishing the independent state of Palestine. The shrillness of the warnings coming from the UN, the EU and even from the United States should somebody of a similar viewpoint as President Obama be elected, an eventuality which will come to pass, and various NGO’s, Human Rights Organizations and possibly through decisions from the World Courts all condemning Israel even before she has taken any defensive actions. The one item that must be recalled is that Israel is not permitted to defend herself, Israel if defending herself may not prove victorious, at the first signs of an Israeli victory the fighting must be terminated and the original borders reestablished no matter how long it takes (as is becoming all too evident currently) and finally when Israel is proving victorious then it becomes the vital mission of much of the world to threaten Israel with annihilation if they do not cease winning and return to their borders immediately.

So let us get back to Paris and the conference of the damning. The prearranged findings will call for the establishment of the Arab state of Palestine with the borders that the world realizes is the only proper and inevitable borders, the Green Line and the Jordan River. The call will be for an unarmed Palestine with only a security force having weapons necessary for dealing with crime and for preventing any encroachment or invasions by Israel. As time passes the amount of weaponry required for the security of Palestine will include armor, artillery, rockets and an air force. They would also call for their having a navy with aircraft carriers except the Dead Sea and Sea of Galilee (Kinneret) are just too small to require any naval forces, but a small coast guard might be authorized to patrol the Jordan River as well as these other waterways. Simply stated, within a decade, two at the most, the Arab state of Palestine will be better armed than Jordan, something which will rightfully make the King of Jordan very nervous as he recalls the Black September revolt where the PLO attempted to overthrow the Jordanian government. Meanwhile, Israel will be in mortal danger and likely once again without a friend in the world. Much like the position Israel finds herself in until January 20, 2017 at noon Eastern Standard Time when President Obama gives way to President Trump.

The one saving hope from a world gone mad is that the Paris ambushing of Israel takes longer than five days and the protection of a United States veto returns to the Security Council. Should the protagonists in France complete their dirty work before the morning of January 20, 2017, then there is a possibility of the UNSC officially recognizing Arab Palestine with the Green Line as its western border and forcing close to a million Israelis to become refugees instantly and needing to be rescued by the IDF and escorted to safety. The one item that would be considered fighting words is if the Paris ensemble tries to take any part of Jerusalem from Israeli control. Israel has officially annexed all of Jerusalem and granted its Arab citizens Israeli identification papers, medical coverage and permitted them voting rights in local elections with the possibility for full voting rights once they complete certain requirements to qualify as full citizens. Israelis have accepted that Jerusalem is an integral part of Israel and our reclaiming of our eternal Capital City and that is the one thing which will never change. This is something which must be made clear as well as making the Israeli position on the main cities and residential blocks which must remain part of Israel as even under the Oslo Accords Area C was to remain with Israel.

Despite it becoming clear that the entirety of the Oslo Accords was a ruse, a grand deception designed to allow for the slow and eventual erosion of the right of Israel to even exist within any borders. That eventuality has yet to materialize but not for lack of efforts. The BDS, boycott, divestment and sanction, movement developing from the Arab boycott of Israel and their Khartoum Resolution with the three No’s; no peace with Israel, no recognition of Israel, no negotiations with Israel, and spreading throughout the world and gaining traction numerous college campuses in the Western World, the isolation of Israel was looking to make inroads. Within the past year the BDS has seen setbacks as governments in numerous cities and states in the United States and elsewhere, it required a boost which came almost as if scripted by some unseen director with the recent UNSC Chapter Six Advisory Resolution 2334 which declared that Israel had no legal claims to Area C thus voiding UNSC Res. 242 and the Oslo Accords setting an entirely new perception to the eventual resolution of the Arab-Israeli conflict. President Obama through the backdoor arrangement of UNSC Res. 2334 wording and particular specification delineating the abrogation of all Israeli rights presumably on the international stage, the world has set up a situation where another war is all but guaranteed in the Middle East unsettling any semblance of balance and leeway for actual negotiations to take place. The next step, should this procedural intention play out fully, would be to demand that Israel surrender every inch of lands they gained during their defensive efforts in the Six Day War. The world is treading on thin ice and teetering on the edge of falling through and unless in Paris a miracle occurs and the world decides to step away from the insanity and frantic attempts by President Obama to force a resolution which will only set up a situation with no good solution just to pretend he deserved that Nobel Peace Prize. It is borderline insanity to potentially force a predicament which could result in a dangerous faceoff between the United Nations Security Council, Israel and the viability and enforcement of President Obama taking a final shot in his vendetta against the Jewish State which it appears his aim had been its destruction from day one. That is the only way his frantic end of term insanity forcing solutions where none exist as well as his guaranteeing that Iran will become a nuclear armed nations with as many if not more nuclear weapons than all but the big three, United States, Russia and China, and possibly Iran will make that the big four and the world will live on borrowed time thereafter. Oh what has the world wrought and how can that tension be released peaceably? Perhaps it cannot and the result will become the real legacy for President Obama. Too bad so few might survive that legacy should it really turn for the worst. But then again, transforming the United States, specifically its relationship with the Jewish State, with Israel, has been the aim all along and was likely the most prominent piece of America Barack Hussein Obama had intended to mortally wound from the very start. He sure went after this first, last and consistently the hardest.

It is All a Debate of Dates (Part II)

Part 1

The Arabs refuse to recognize anything anywhere in the world where their feet have tread should ever be ruled by any others and must remain an Arab Waqf for all eternity. This is why in many Arab countries a map of the world does not contain the nation of Spain and instead shows a nation named Andalusia. This name was what the Moors who conquered Spain used to name that area and that was the name until 1492 when Ferdinand and Isabella who reconquered Spain for the Church and initiated the infamous Inquisition. This warring between Christianity and Islam had continued for centuries with the most famous were the Crusades to return the Holy Lands for Christianity with their emphasis on Jerusalem and secondary targets of Nazareth and Bethlehem. The Muslim conquests had reached from Spain into France being turned at the battle of Tours. The invasions in Eastern Europe reached Vienna twice where the Muslims were turned back and the Ottomans returned eventually retreating back into what is today Turkey. World War I brought an end to the Ottoman Empire and in a number of first ever treaties the lands were turned over to rule other than that of the conquerors with most returned to what were believed to be the indigenous peoples. The most striking was the reestablishment of the Jewish State in its ancient homelands. These new nations were to be guided by Mandates assigned to the European allied victors of World War I.

Also redrawn were the borders of Eastern Europe with Germany and the Austria-Hungarian Empire being broken into new nations and borders adjusted with the allies and their defeated ally Poland gaining area at the cost of Germany and the Austria-Hungarian Empire. The Arab claims that the Europeans after World War I crippled and altered the Arab world while leaving Europe unchanged is not a valid claim and the reason the Arab world appeared to be more altered was the area of the Ottoman Empire compared to the Austria-Hungarian and German lands combined. The alterations in both lands were relatively equal in their depth and altering of influences. In Europe they set the ground for the remilitarization of Germany and World War II. The problems in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) was caused largely because each of the nations drawn on the map placed several tribes within the same borders and even cut some groups such that their peoples were spread amongst several nations. Probably the biggest losers from these borders were the Kurdish People who, despite being promised their own lands of Kurdistan, they were cheated and their tribes spread between Iran, Turkey, Iraq and the former (and potentially future) Syria. This has caused great amounts of friction especially with Turkey and Iraq where the Kurds were often targeted by their own governments. The Kurds in Syria have been facing an extermination assault by Turkey on top of fighting the Islamic State as well as other independent units and the Syrian government and allies. When reading about the Kurds it often appears that like Israel these people are also fighting the entire world with the main difference is at least the United Nations ignored the Kurds.

According to the Arab history of the world there was nothing before Islam. There were no great empires of Persia, Greece, Rome, Babylon and so forth. All these lands came into history upon their conquest by the Arabs and Islam. All the former and undeniable peoples from the bible were all Muslims. This may appear to be an anachronistic view of the world but the way this is established is that Allah founded the universe and gave Adam the perfect faith, Islam and when Abraham was to sacrifice his son, that son was Ishmael and there is little if any mention of Isaak. Abraham was a Muslim, Moses was a Muslim and the Torah he wrote was really the first writing of something resembling the Quran but the Jews altered the writings given them by Moses corrupting it and the Christians took that and corrupted it further all to such an extent that Allah had to provide the original all over again to Muhammad. Thus Islam is the only true religion and thus has been promised to be given the entirety of Earth to rule as the only ones who have truth. This is the reality under which the Arab Muslims perceive the world and insist this is the truth and their truth must be the only truth. Anybody who refuses to accept their truth is a heretic and under Islam such a blasphemer needs to be silenced by all and any means necessary. All of this comes to a head over Israel and the focus of Arab war with the developed world and the Western world and culture. Islam had made a number of offences with their first the most successful and is now at the leading edge of their third surge (see map below). This latest offensive is using numerous efforts including warfare, terrorism, infiltration (refugees) and using democracy against itself and the equality and protections of religion to spread political Islam. Until Western nations realize that Islam is a religious-political system where the political Islam supremacy is hidden within a religion where it retreats whenever challenged demanding their religion be respected and pressing those who propose to tell the truth are then attacked as Islamophobic and thus ridiculed as anti-religious or bigoted haters. Thusfar their methods have been working exactly as they planned and will continue until either the Western World succumbs or wakes up and treats Islam as a political supremacist totalitarian system threatening the developed world.

Islamic Expansion

Islamic Expansion

Concerning Israel, the Arabs have directed their main efforts on the heart of Israel realizing that Israel is the tip of the defense of Western World civilization. To target Israel they are aiming for the heart of Israel which is Jerusalem and targeting the beating heart of Jerusalem, the Temple Mount and Old City all of which is all encompassed in Eastern Jerusalem and thus beyond the Green Line. But what is this Green Line and why is it so important? The Green Line is the line between the IDF and the Arab forces on the Jordanian front at noon of the final day of hostilities. This was an Armistice Line and the Arab League at that time insisted that the Green Line was only to be the demarcation of the end of fighting and never, ever, ever to be considered as a border nor was it to be even used to form or delineate in negotiations a border and Israel was never to have an eastern border. The reasoning was that as long as Israel was denied any of its borders it would not be a real nation and thus the Arab world could maintain that Israel was not a nation and did not exist and was really just part of southern Syria. The Arabs reject the Mandates as having been legal and claim that the Europeans were the longest and most vile colonialists in all of MENA. What they are ignoring is the fifteen-hundred-years of Arab colonialism which continues to this day. The Europeans began any colonialist possession of the areas of MENA during and after World War I in 1914 through 1917 and then took responsibility for nation building as these areas were under Arab and then Ottoman dictatorial rule since the latest around the year 700 up through 1914, 1200 years, and have returned to Arab control as these nations were released from European influences (see map below). Judging from the longest colonial possession by Europeans of MENA lands hangs around half a century with most far less. The biggest lie about European colonies in the MENA lands is that Israel is a European colony, the big lie.

Dates that the MENA nations received their independence after colonial rule many since the times of the Persians or even earlier

Dates that the MENA nations received their independence after colonial rule many since the times of the Persians or even earlier

The truth is there is no evidence from the population statistics of Israel by which one can prove it to be a European colony. Approximately forty percent of the Israeli population comes from the MENA nations that forced the vast majority of their Jewish population from within their borders, some with the belief that they could drown Israel with these destitute refugees who were denied their wealth as their valuables and monies were confiscated before they were allowed to depart. Often they were limited to one or two suitcases per person and these suitcases were all inspected for anything of value or desirability. Over half of Israeli population is constituted from non-Europeans within other than MENA Jews there are the Menashe from India, the Ethiopian Jews and many others. Lastly, of the non-Mena populations the largest single population is from the former Soviet Union. The claims are that Israel is made up of Jews from the Concentration Camp survivors that the Nazis did not murder and that they are destined to complete the work of the Nazis.

Let us go to the reality for a moment as we have been reporting so much of the strange and untrue, well, a lot of untrue mixed with sufficient truth to make everything have just that taste of the possible. Much of the rest is accepted largely on the mistrust of Jews or outright anti-Semitism. Before the year 600 the Arabs resided almost exclusively along the coasts of the Arabic Peninsula. They were idolaters and Islam was not yet an idea emerging from Muhammad’s experiences in that cave. Meanwhile, the Jews had survived their experiences in Egypt and were led by Moses into the desert where for forty years they prepared the population for becoming a nation and to conquer the Promised Land. Moses led them to the Jordan River and from there Joshua led the assault into the Promised Land. First Jericho then Ai and onto the remainder of the lands (see map below). The conquest took longer than a single lifetime and culminated with King David and King Solomon centered around the year 1000 BCE (see map below). By the time of King David and King Solomon all the Canaanite tribes were defeated and the Israelite enemies now were Greeks, Egyptian and Babylonians. The Israelites were driven from their lands twice, the first by the Babylonians and the second by Alexander the Great and his Greek armies. From that second conquest there came the Roman rule which executed what they considered to be the deathblow being delivered to the Israelites, who by this time were merely called Judeans which eventually became Jew. The punishment the Romans delivered was the scattering of the Judeans (Jews) throughout their Empire and even banishing many Jews to beyond their frontiers expecting they could never survive. This resulted, over time, with Jews living virtually throughout the world. Meanwhile, many Jews also sought home along Northern Africa to escape Roman brutalities resulting in a sizeable Jewish population being spread throughout North Africa when the Arab forces burst from the Arabian Peninsula and conquered this area. Some Jews even followed this migration into Spain where they met Jews who had been dispersed and reached Spain from the Roman frontiers.

The history of the Western Jews and the history of the Jews under Islam had many similarities where the forms of government and names of the rulers were different but the results identical. In Europe the Jews were chased from nation to nation and even from kingships to kingship and baron’s lands to baron’s lands and even from town to town. The plight of the Jew was well told in Shakespeare’s Merchant of Venice where the Jew is a moneylender whose client has refused payment. For the rest, read the play or go to the theater for the full story, dinner at 11:00 PM. Jews were permitted a select few professions and were forbidden to own land, what was considered the ultimate sign of wealth. This placed Jews as the initial provisionors and retailers. This would grant the Jews great advantage in a much later time while others were just first reaching the cities where the Jews were already established. The Islamic world was ruled locally in many ways similarly to the European world with the main difference being that the entirety was under the rule of one person who seldom ever visited much of their lands. This left the rule and tax collecting from which they often took a great cut for themselves. Often these local leaders would enact Islam only laws pressing the Christians and Jews to flee with little or nothing more than they could hastily gather and carry. Sometimes these restrictions and persecution were targeting Jews alone; it is so much fun to be the chosen people. The areas under each Sheikh, Emir and other titles whose moniker would change depending on the Caliph and the ruling Islamic branch would each make decisions which affected the non-Muslims, especially the Jews, residing within their territories. The similarities between the lives of Jews under Islam and Christianity were far greater than were the differences as far as the average Jew and their security, or lack thereof. The problem for the Jews is we were seldom permitted weapons when we most would need them and never had the numbers of population to provide ourselves with much hope of protecting ourselves beyond taking flight when trouble brewed. With Israel things are different as now we have equal footing though our numbers are limited, our determination is not and we will not be driven from our lands ever again, and that is our intent.
