Why Does Israel Continue to Exist Today?

Ask the average American irreligious or slightly religious Jew, many call them secular Jews or twice a year Jews who only visit the synagogue for the High Holidays and celebrate Hanukkah almost as if it were the Jewish Christmas even to having what they call a Hanukkah Bush (it really is a Christmas Tree with a six pointed star on top instead of a five pointed star). Ask the Jewish leadership of the Anti-Defamation League. Ask Rabbi Rick Jacobs, President of the Union for Reform Judaism. Ask Gideon Levy who writes for the Israeli newspaper Haaretz. Ask J-Street, B’Tselem, Peace Now or any of the plethora of misnamed human rights groups which act as Palestinian Arab critical support and fifth column against Israeli interests. The list of people and groups one can ask extends throughout Europe and the entire world with an ever growing number vocally screaming foul over the latest law passed by the Knesset which makes the Jewish communities anywhere west of the Jordan River legal, even those in the, dare we say it, West Bank, formerly known as Judea and Samaria for close to three thousand years. All these protesters keep repeating that this law will destroy the Israeli democracy and disenfranchise Arabs in Israel. This is total bunk. The Israeli Arabs will not be affected by this law in any way or by any means, period. Arabs will still be permitted to work in any position they are qualified to and desire, they will continue to be doctors, nurses, lawyers, Ministers in the Knesset, judges including on the Supreme Court, drivers, construction, engineering or anything they can dream. They will still own their homes, live where they choose, attend schools of their choice, attend church, Mosque, Synagogue or other religious institution of their choice, drive, ride all forms of transportation, vote in all elections and everything else as citizens of Israel. Guess that democracy thing will survive.

I hear the yelling already, “What about the Palestinians voting?” Well, tell you what, whenever Mahmoud Abbas decides that elections are due, then they can have elections. Abbas is serving his twelfth year of a four year term which started in January 2005. The reason the Palestinian Arabs have not voted is because the Palestinian Authority, which means Mahmoud Abbas who has become its dictatorial ruler, has suspended their democratic processes as Abbas knows he would never win in a fair election and the deceit necessary to have him win is beyond his personal ability to manage as there are those standing ready for any opportunity to replace him. Israel has absolutely no control over elections for the Palestinian authority any more than it has over elections in Gaza ruled by Hamas. Where Israel is often faulted for the lack of opportunity to vote for their government by the Arab Palestinians, it has no validity and nothing to do with Arab Israelis who have full rights and do vote in Israeli elections. What happens to the Palestinian Arabs has more to do with their true intentions and the actual and real meaning and purpose of the State of Israel. We will try and clarify both in the remainder of this article and hope we can at least set a few misconceptions straight.

First, let us cover the easiest misperception, that Israel was founded to be a democracy. Not even slightly true. Israel was founded to be the homeland for the Jewish People. It is that simple. Read the Balfour Declarations (see image below) and you will see nary a word about democracy throughout. Read the San Remo Conference and again nary a word about elections, democracy or anything covering governance. Everything in every treaty, conference, document and even the Mandate Rules written by the League of Nations have no reference to democracy or anything about how the State of Israel was to be governed. The main points were that it was to be the homeland for the Jewish People and it could not deprive the residents residing in the land of their freedoms to own property, practice their religion and all civil and religious rights but says nothing about political rights. According to all of the laws etcetera regarding the making and founding of the State of Israel, the form of governance is completely unmentioned leaving it up to the Jews, the Zionists, to decide as they formed their nation. Technically, Israel could legally limit the right to vote to Jews or even to practicing Jews. Israel did not take that path. Israel gave full rights to their population whether Jewish or not. That is why Arabs are full voting citizens of the State of Israel as are many other peoples who were present or have been allowed citizenship as refugees from persecution. The Arabs who remained in Israel did not join the Arab forces who attacked Israel in the 1948 Arab War of Genocidal Intent launched by the Arab World on Israel’s founding morning of May 15, 1948.

Balfour Declaration and Initial Proposed Map and Lands

Balfour Declaration and
Initial Proposed Map and Lands

As a result of that war, what in Israel is euphemistically called the Israeli War of Independence and is celebrated as a victory as Israel survived, yet the reality comes to territory where Israel lost major parts of Judea and Samaria to Jordan who renamed that area the West Bank while Egypt took over the Gaza Strip. There were some Arab villages which harbored fighters which attacked the Israeli forces from behind the lines which lead to the Israeli forces dispossessing the entire village as that was the expedient way of addressing the situation most efficiently and immediately deciding that the villagers were at the least partially responsible for the use of their areas for staging a rear attack and that they were acting as a fifth column. Much has been misrepresented about these actions claiming that these villagers were dispossessed of their lands simply because they were Arabs and nothing else, ignoring their harboring of Arab forces which were planted in order to attack Israeli forces from behind and cutting off their routes of supply and assaulting the civilians claiming that every Jew was a legitimate target. These differences will never be resolved and can only be mitigated by what means will allow.

We have settled that the only real meanings behind the founding of Israel was to take some desert, swamp lands and rock strewn hills into the Jewish homeland. The few people residing in these lands at the end of World War I, a sparse set of peoples strewn here and there, were guaranteed their civil and religious rights such as continued ownership of lands, herds, business, residence and other properties as well as rights to worship in their traditional methods and follow their religions freely. The existing residents were not guaranteed political rights which were reserved technically for the Jewish People if this were the decision of the Zionist Congress upon the founding of the state. When Israel was founded on May 15, 1948 one might say that everything hit the fan as forces from more than a half dozen Arab armies and militias attacked Israel from every possible direction. Peace was not achieved for over a year and when the decision of governance was finally addressed the leadership from the Zionist Congress and the other groups such as the Haganah reached the decision to extend full political rights to all the residents in the nation, Arabs, Jews, Christians, Bedouins, Druze, Baha’I and other smaller minority groups all as one democratic nation. This was the first actual decision on using a democracy and it is notable that the democracy was all inclusive of those who were not opposed to the Jews having their own state. This is how and why Israel is a democracy.

When the State of Israel was founded, the Palestinian Arabs were not citizens of Israel but were Arabs residing in Jordan, Syria, Egypt, Saudi Arabia as well as some Iraqis, Turks, Yemenis and others who were part of the invading forces and who remained on the lands or were actually driven onto the lands by their governments in order to make what have become known as facts on the ground. The claims that all of the Palestinian Arabs came from inside Israel is a common factual lie which has been repeated so often with such force and echo-chamber reinforced, the world now accepts it as factual. This is the main drive behind the two state concept as the claim is Israel owes the remnant of her invaders their own nation. This misconception has poisoned the waters so permanently that a solution would be difficult if this was the sole difficulty. There is a further problem in that the Arabs do not believe that the Jews have any right to a homeland within what they see as the Muslim Ummah. Their claim is that throughout all history, which for the Muslims begins in 625, there have been no Jewish lands within the lands they conquered and colonized. The reality is that the Arabs have the longest running and most extensive colonial enterprise in world history. They also are under the belief that the problem with the world is that it has not yet, emphasis on yet, come under the rule of Allah and the dictatorial rule of Islam. Until they are disabused of this notion, Israel, as well as the world in total, can never feel safe from the next Islamic offensive, something the Europeans should remember from their own history as Islam has attacked through Spain only to be turned at Tours by Charles “the Hammer” Martel and twice from Turkey Ottoman Empire being turned back at the Battle of Vienna, the first attack being stopped in 1529 and the second assault turned back by Polish King John III Sobieski in 1683.

Israel, conceived, initiated and founded to be the homeland of the Jewish People has faced the difficulty of a Palestinian Arab irascible obstinacy demanding they are the rightful owners of the lands between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea and that the Jews have no rights in these lands and deserve to be exterminated. This has been their first, second, and final demand and they refuse to compromise and accept anything less. Their demands are often couched in coded verbiage such as their demanding they receive their 22% of the Mandate Lands. The western leadership will almost always take that to mean that they are demanding 22% of the lands between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea this meaning Judea and Samaria or Judea, Samaria and Gaza. What Abbas actually means and has explained as his meaning is 22% of the entire of the Mandate Lands, the 22% which consists of all the lands not taken to make Jordan which was 78% of the original Mandate Lands, the entire of the lands between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea. Yasser Arafat and after him Mahmoud Abbas both demanded that Israel be destroyed and replaced by Palestine. Abbas has actually offered one compromise; his idea of a two state solution. His two state idea is for an Arab Palestine which will be completely free of Jews and an Arab ruled State of Israel where the Jews have no rights and are allowed to live at the indulgence of their betters, the Arabs which will include over five million Arabs brought from refugee camps from around the Arab world and even within Judea and Samaria and Gaza and who knows how many additional Arabs who simply claim to be refugees seeking economic betterment. Anyway one cuts it, finding a solution which will satisfy the Palestinian Arab leadership and their Arab League backers, it would require sacrificing the Jewish State making the Jews once again stateless.

The problem with the Arab reasoning is that history did not begin in 625 AD, especially in the lands of Judea, Samaria and the rest of the lands of the Twelve Tribes of Israel (see map on right below). The Twelve Tribes of Israel were founded when Joshua crossed the Jordan River and defeated the first Canaanite King of Jericho. This was followed with another victory at Ai and continued until the Holy Lands were conquered following numerous tactical routes first heading through the central Judean hills, then southward and finally the northern areas (shown in the left map below). This conquest began approximately 1275 BCE. Since that time virtually every conquering empire outside those in the Americas, China, Japan, and Russia but even to including the Vikings if one believes that the Greeks were originally Vikings who found the Greek climate preferable to Scandinavia, surprise, surprise, and their Triremes were modified Long Ships; they all have invaded and occupied without ever naming Jerusalem as a capital city even for a province unless the province was expressly for the Jews as was the case under the Persian Empire of Cyrus the Great. The Jewish People have an extensively long history uninterrupted with Jews residing in the lands and especially in Jerusalem constantly starting soon after the entrance of Joshua through the expansive times under Kings David and Solomon through the First Temple Period, their Babylonian exile of most of the population and their subsequent return and building of the Second Temple and expanding the Temple Mount and the remainder of their history through to the modern period. That is the real history and Israel was founded recognizing the entirety of the history, not just that which is fancifully convenient for the Islamic sensibilities.

Israel Through the Ages Joshua Enters to the Twelve Tribes

Israel Through the Ages Joshua Enters to the Twelve Tribes

Then there is the biggest fallacy of them all, that Israel conquered Palestinian Lands in the Six Day War in 1967. First thing is there has never been anything called Palestine for their land to be stolen. Palestine is the name of the region and the original use of the term Palestinian was for the Jews during the British Mandate period where the Arabs were referred to as Arabs or Syrians, Jordanians, Iraqis, Druze, Bedouins, Egyptians or other designation of origin or tribe. When Israel regained the lands of Judea and Samaria in the 1967 Six Day War they were not conquering new lands, they were liberating their own lands which had been occupied by the Jordanians since the 1948 War. The only occupation of Judea and Samaria was by Jordan and the claim that Jordan gifted these lands to the Palestinian Arabs is a great misconception, a great invention of propaganda. The lands were originally and always Israeli and were occupied by Jordan. One cannot give away stolen lands and thus Jordan could not gift the lands to the Palestinian Arabs as it was stolen land occupied illegally by Jordan. The entire world with the exception of Britain and Pakistan refused to recognize these lands as Jordanian. Even Egypt and the Arab League refused to recognize the Jordanian occupation. Lastly, Jordan signed a peace with Israel surrendering the occupied lands of Judea and Samaria back to Israel and it was not until two years after that treaty that Jordan officially claimed to have gifted the lands to Yasser Arafat and the Palestinian Arabs. That makes these lands doubly not Jordanian to give as they were not even occupying the lands when they claimed to have given them away. What is next, the Iranians claiming they gave away Hollywood to the Arab Palestinians community of Southern California? That would be just as legal as the Jordanian claims to have given land they did not even possess at the time to the Palestinian Arabs and they even made the claim retroactive to attempt to grant it some degree of validity. That simply does not wash and the land remains Israeli until such time as Israel gives it away in a treaty, something seeming more and more remote by the day.

Can President Trump Cure the Ills of America?

The United States new leader, President Donald J. Trump, promised to “Make America Great Again.” The real question should be can he cure the United States of her illness. This disease has numerous symptoms of which we will cover a few of the most threatening. The first on the list is a sinister little one which hides in plain sight. The current reproductive rate is 1.84 children per woman which is well below the 2.33 reproductive rate necessary for maintaining a nation’s population. This simply means that the United States will have fewer workers to support an aging population and this will only grow more and more serious over time. The only obvious solution is to allow for immigration, eventually massive immigration. From all expectation, any large immigration program will lead to a rebalancing of the predominant population statistics in the favor of whichever groups of foreign nations contribute to the immigration. The most readily available populations are from Central America and South America. This has been the trending for the past decades which is leading to a growing Hispanic population which is rapidly becoming the largest minority population and with time they will become the predominant population. There is a fortunate trait in that the vast majority of such immigrants hold similar religious identities and have a Judeo-Christian ethics and history which will make for a merging of the populations and not as much a shock to the culture or as much a threat for large changes in laws and outlook of the resultant population. Should the United States instead bring in immigrants from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) there would be an inevitable confrontation between the emerging culture and the currently existing culture. If history is any indicator, an increasing Islamic minority would at some point lead to an actual confrontation which the aging Judeo-Christian community who would most definitely loses.

The Donald-Make America Great Again-Trump

The Donald-Make America Great Again-Trump

This problem has been traced from demographic studies to have a direct relation to the legalization of abortion after the 1973 Supreme Court Roe vs. Wade decision leading to nationally recognizing a legal right for a woman to obtain an abortion. The good news is that the numbers of abortions have steadily decreased over the past few decades. The not so great news is that this has not led to any measurable increase in the reproductive rate as was expected. Demographic studies have shown that couples are waiting until later in life before getting married. This had led to the obvious postponement of starting families and, as in most cases both husband and wife are professionals with careers, they often put off having a family until even later leading to many couples having a single child , or worse, deciding not to have children at all. Societal studies have also seen a trending in millennials for their deciding to forgo marriage, children and even permanent relationships instead settling to have small groups of friends who have open partnerships or some simply leading singular lives dropping in and out of relationships never desiring to become involved in a permanent relationship. Perhaps these individuals will settle down later in life but that will likely lead to a childless relationship as they may wait until past the point of fertility. Whatever the future, the current trends indicate that the only solution to the American childlessness will be through immigration and praying that the new immigrants prove immune to the childless culture as they come from a more reproductive friendly culture.

Islamic immigrants would also have a higher reproductive rate than the current American culture. The one catch is that it has been found that as financial wealth of a society increases, reproductive rates plummet. This was what has struck Europe and has been given as one of the reasons the political rulers have been allowing a free import of Syrian and other MENA refugees. Whether such a program was a good idea or a potential allowing for an infiltration leading to an eventual takeover by Islamic policies is something which is still being debated. Time may settle that debate before any conclusions are forthcoming. The one certainty is that many of the existing European populations are not overly excited about the newcomers and may be voting in a whole new and opposing set of leaders as elections sweep across the continent. Should Europe start to become an Islamic based society, then that may play well for solving some of the system shock for the United States as many of the elite, and any others with sufficient means, would flee Europe for the apparent safety of the United States. Much of this future will depend on socioeconomic developments and for the existing confrontations and other dangerous situations not developing into a far broader set of conflicts leading eventually to an all-encompassing conflict. This might actually have the effect of shocking the current Western World out of its self-serving egoism and realizing that there is only a future if there exists a prodigy to which to hand over that future and that depends on having said prodigy. Having such a revelation sweep Western society would be a blessing though it would be preferable for it not to have to be impressed through some horrific conflict as such changes have been initiated in previous eras. Such conflagrations have also brought down empires which not much earlier had been considered a permanent fixture assured forever into the future. The lesson there for the United States is that nothing remains on top forever, not Rome, not the British, not the Spanish, not the Egyptians, not Alexander’s Greeks and not even China, one of the longest continuous empires still existing and asserting a presence in the modern age.

Another serious illness striking the United States is the political divide which has not only grown wider this century but has also grown far nastier and more toxic. This past week proved this beyond any shadow of doubt. When President Obama was first elected in 2008 there was disappointment on the Republican side but most Americans hoped for the best. Many were disappointed but still believed there was hope and President Obama was reelected. After the 2012 election there was a smattering of protests which were nonviolent and largely quiet. The media made sure they had a short self-life by largely ignoring their existence. This present Inauguration brought back the protests and cries of foul from 2000 except with far more violence and vitriol. Madonna spoke of dreaming of blowing up the White House. That was quite far overboard as that would be such a waste of the rebuild after the War of 1812 which was finally completed in 1817 and President James Monroe moved into the new and improved White House. The demonstrations were boisterous and somewhat over the top including the burning of President Trump in effigy. The problem was with the violent actors who destroyed property, attacked police, attacked injuring innocent people who were simply attending Inaugural Dances including the insulting, spitting upon and injuring of a Gold Star widow and her sister. Spirited protests and debate are one thing and destruction of property and assaulting people and police is a completely different and unacceptable form of protest and should be considered beyond the pale. People work and depend on those places for their families and futures and the destruction of their workplaces hurt innocents and since a good many of these places were in major cities, especially those in Washington D.C. where over 90% voted for Hillary Clinton, most of the people hurt by these unscrupulous acts were Hillary supporters. Whatever the presumed excuse, such violence, if left unchecked, only grows and eventually leads to the destruction of the society.

The other problem with the violence was that it was presumed to be in support of groups which resemble numerous fascist entities of the past such as the infamous Brownshirts which used violence in order to scare the German people into demanding the government do something, anything, just end the violence. Once the people agreed to the government assuming emergency powers giving them absolute power, the Nazis wiped out the Brownshirts replacing them with the SS who became the new enforcers. The possibility that hidden somewhere within the leftist ranks are those seeking a repeat from history, using the rabble to stir up sufficient troubles at some point in the future to takeover and put in place a dictatorial fascist governance is all too possibly the end result. This has been the manner in which virtually every democratic based government has fallen throughout history; so saying it could not happen here is a fool’s gambit. Many of the demonstrations resembled the Red Guard demonstrations at the beginning of the Communist takeover of Russia deposing the Russian Provisional Government which was democratically elected in a limited vote and was presumed to be setting up a democratic form of government when the Communists decided they didn’t need any democracy, they simply desired replacing one dictatorial government with another. Caesar also replaced a democratic republic of Rome relegating the Senate into an echo chamber until they decided to depose him old school. The assassination of Caesar did no good as all it did was immortalize his name making it the title for the reign of dictators until the fall of Rome centuries later. Obviously saying it cannot happen here is a blindness that no democracy can afford. Reportedly, American Abolitionist and liberal activist Wendell Phillips on January 28, 1852 speaking to members of the Massachusetts Anti-Slavery Society stated,

“Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty; power is ever stealing from the many to the few. The manna of popular liberty must be gathered each day or it is rotten. The living sap of today outgrows the dead rind of yesterday. The hand entrusted with power becomes, either from human depravity or esprit de corps, the necessary enemy of the people. Only by continued oversight can the democrat in office be prevented from hardening into a despot; only by unintermitted agitation can a people be sufficiently awake to principle not to let liberty be smothered in material prosperity.”

We Would Like to Report a Hate Crime

In one instance of this hate crime, a single moment, thousands, tens of thousands, nay, hundreds of thousands were struck and terrified by this singular exhibit of this ongoing hate crime. This hate crime is so pervasive that it never ceases and is being furthered and perpetuated somewhere every hour of every day. This hate crime has several varieties but one surpasses all others combined in frequency and sheer forcefulness. When the hate crime, this particular form of hate crime, is committed it usually takes a form which strikes the hearts and lives of numerous simultaneously as is the intents of the perpetrators. This hate crime exists in every country, even in areas where its victims have never existed, visited, or ever been known by this select group of hate criminals. This is the only hate crime where there need not be any victim present or even within hundreds or even thousands of miles yet these hate crimes are still committed but often ignored. What is more remarkable is that places where there are real victims, unless one specific individual is struck personally, visibly, and dramatically with presentable damage or injury for the crime to be actually researched and possibly prosecuted. More often than not, contrary to much public opinion, another less visible result of the propensity and sitting on the extreme periphery of this specific form of hate crime, these more virulent nonspecific group targeted versions of this hate crime, the most common variety, the extent of police attention barely exceeds the taking of the initial report and just over half the time taking follow-up reports beyond taking a finalized list of physical damages and the cost of repairs.

What are the signs of this hate crime? Well, let us be honest, it is a group of hate crimes all aimed at a single measurable group who are readily identified though not necessarily easily discerned if one had to choose them from a line-up. Often these hate crimes are committed against the dead through desecration of grave sites, headstones, walls, gates and other items of areas of cemeteries set aside for the people who are victimized after their passing. Often the most affected are the relatives of those whose graves have been desecrated as well as those responsible for upkeep of their cemetery, either an entire cemetery or simply a reserved section. The resting places are far from the only targets as also gathering places are targeted such as retail stores, restaurants, food stores and any place where the victims shop or own some venture. Nothing related to these victims is safe, nothing anywhere. These hate crimes are rising in their commission at what are alarming rates across Europe while politicians are ignoring these crimes while focusing on similar crimes on other groups which are far less frequent. The reporting of these other hate crimes are very much shouted by the media ringing alarm bells regularly warning that the committing of such hate crimes against this targeted group is epidemic. This reported epidemic striking this particularly vociferous group whose protestations are of great interest in the media and the public conscience as their importance is apparently immeasurable has taken center stage while amounting to less than one third the number of the hate crime we are reporting about. Three times as many hate crimes are perpetrated against a group ignored while the lesser numbers are claimed to be propagated as a plague against society of which awareness must be immediately raised and kept at a sensitivity which could only encourage fake news over faked hate crimes.

That is exactly what had occurred since the election of Donald Trump. The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) has reported numerous high profile such purported hate crimes against Islamic women where they were victimized, reportedly, because they were wearing scarves, headscarves, hijabs, where presumably easily identifiable Trump supporters, after all the perpetrators were white and male and showing hatred, this is a reported hate crime after all, and victimizing Muslims women, which has to be the ultimate current evil, identifying them from their dress, particularly the hijab which these men tore off, demanded they remove or demanded they leave their country or other hateful acts. The SPLC had reported that hijabs had been torn off victims of these horrific hate crimes by Trump supporters at the University of Michigan (since retracted), Louisiana State University (also retracted), San Diego State University (that too was retracted), the New York City subway (again: retracted), and the University of New Mexico (no witnesses, won’t reveal attacker’s name or report the incident for investigation) as reported in an article titled The Great Hijab Cover-Up by Ann Coulter. These are reports that have been granted, along with similar reported crimes, close-up and intense coverage by the mainstream media as their perusal has produced reported crime wave of Islamophobic induced hate crimes. Meanwhile anti-Semitism has been largely ignored by comparison which is counterintuitive if one is aware of the actual commission of actual hate crimes as reported by the FBI for 2014 in the United States alone (see image below). Another report which came with the headline “Anti-Muslim hate crimes are still five times more common today than before 9/11” reported the actual numbers of religious hate crimes displayed two graphs, one showing the increase in anti-Muslim crimes from before and after 2001 which was significant (see image below) but still needs to be placed in context of all religious hate crimes which they did with another graph showing actual hate crimes by religion for 2013 (see image below). The combination of the two graphs, one showing the increase and then reduction to a higher new-normal of Islamophobic crimes and then the comparison showing the dominance of anti-Semitic hate crimes compared to all others usually with anti-Semitism driven hate crimes almost universally, excepting one year which proved to be an exception, 2001, being over half of the total anti-religious hate crimes proved the mainstream media, Washington Post in this particular case, to trumpet Islamophobic actions while trying to ignore or minimize by comparison anti-Semitism.

Hate Crimes Motivated by Religious Bias in a Short Graphic History

Hate Crimes Motivated by Religious Bias in a Short Graphic History

The truths about hate crimes is that anti-Semitism is by all measures the most prevalent hate crime which only gets worse when one remembers that Jews make up such a small portion of the population of the United States (less than 2%), Europe (less than 0.2%), and the world (less than 0.2% and omitting Israel approximately 0.1%). Despite the small numbers and percentages of Jews in the populations of the world by nation, continent and the world, the measure and amount of anti-Semitic feelings, beliefs, hatreds, myths and amount of ill at ease found by the Index of Anti-Semitism released by the Anti-Defamation League has some stunning revelations. Their map gives a revelation of the percentage of people responding to their questionnaire revealing they have anti-Semitic beliefs and leanings is stunning in its disclosure of the percentages worldwide by each regional or continental area is stunning, shocking and plain horrific in what it relates (see map below). Places where there are few if any Jews, it is revealed, have amounts of anti-Semitism well beyond reasoning and logic. The site above has numerous comparison tables, links to studies from previous years, about information, actual questions from the survey and other interesting information which flushes out their studies.

Levels in Percentages of Anti-Semitism Worldwide by Regions

Levels in Percentages of Anti-Semitism Worldwide by Regions

Anti-Semitism has permeated human history all the way back to ancient Egypt under the Pharos as related in Torah and the Old Testament. This may even be the second oldest hate crime only exceeded by virgin sacrifices which were designed to promote a higher percentage of more friendly and greater amounts of male and female interactions of intimacy in the weeks, and particularly days and hours, approaching such sacrifices. Civility may have reduced the practice of human sacrifice but anti-Semitism continues to be woven within our societies around the world. The numbers tell the story but the silence in the media tells another side of anti-Semitism, media silence. In an age where every conceivable type of hate crime is getting pages upon pages of ink with what seems like an overly copious amount of charges which after full investigation are proven to be false. The latest has been the hijab campus hate crime wave where report after report has proven out to be false reports. Despite the percentage of false report of hijab victim crimes one might think that the media might be more cautious and wait for the initial investigation to be conducted as many of these incidents were disproven within forty-eight hours, but the media has jumped at the very first hint of a report or even in one case from the Ann Coulter article where one reported case to the SPLC actually had no witnesses, would not reveal attacker’s name nor report the incident for investigation to the authorities yet it made it into reports and interviews with the media where the SPLC provided information or an interviewee for a news or editorial program, both radio and television as well as print. Yet media reporting of anti-Semitic hate crimes are given less prominence and far less hyperventilating by media reporting. One would be led to believe that Islamophobia is rampant across society, especially in Europe and the United States, while anti-Semitism has been all but eliminated when the reality is except for a one year exception, 2001; anti-Semitism has had three times the numbers of hate crimes than Islamophobic hate crimes. If the media were being honest, then pictures like those below would be more prevalent than Women in a hijab crying and sobbing while telling her tale to local and national if not international media.

Anti-Semitism figure and acts of vandalism

The conclusion is obvious, anti-Semitism has been around for such a long time that it is not new and thus not news while Islamophobia is far more recent problem, though far less than anti-Semitism, and thus is of greater interest. Further, Islam is in the news and of more interest with the Syria war, Iraq war, the recent United States and allies’ involvement in Iraq and Afghanistan and other news of great interest. Much of this news is of a negative type, thus the media, which seeks to minimize the harsh realities of the violence permeating many Islamic nations, interest in finding news which places Islam in a better and more sympathetic light. Having an attractive, young Muslim woman crying on camera telling about how she was assaulted for being a Muslim, well, that is a sympathy story. Add that they are claiming that the attackers were supporters of Donald Trump make the story irresistible. On the other side of the table, we have Israel. The media has had Israel in their sights as the Obama Administration blamed Israel for his failures in forging Middle East peace between Israel and the Palestinian Authority. The stories about Israel blamed for this, Israel responsible for that, about the only failure which was not blamed on Israel was the rising cost of health insurance under Obamacare. With all of this negative Israel stories, well, Jews were not exactly near the top of the list for sympathetic coverage. This could have contributed to the near invisible coverage of anti-Semitism. Whatever the reason for the unbalanced coverage, had the media covered reality as the numbers represent, then anti-Semitism coverage would have been beyond that of all other religious hate crimes combined as the above graphs reveal clearly. But since when was news about reporting reality and what is actually happening and not about painting the picture the media elitists want you to believe. With the mainstream media so utterly left-leaning and the current position of the left being predominantly anti-Israel and anti-Zionist, it does not take a huge leap in logic to conclude that anti-Semitism could not be all that far removed.
