Treating Terrorism in a Modern Democratic Governance

Terrorism and a Democratic free society pose problems which are not present in any of the totalitarian style governances such as Communism, Monarchies, Fascism or Religious totalitarianism. In these governances the security forces can literally close down almost all activity relegating their populations to carefully orchestrated movements. Work transportation can be set by government, shopping for groceries can be set to limited times and all other such commerce limited extremely or closed for the time period of the emergency. By turning the society into regulated movements with careful choreography then anything not conforming to the plan is immediately obvious and a concentration of forces will quickly return things to the ordered schedule. In such a society the comfort of the people is secondary to security. If a society is prepared to give up all freedoms for the appearance and possibly improved security, then security will be increased, but at what price. In a Democratic form of governance the people’s freedoms come before anything the government desires to do and the people presumably set the level they desire on freedoms and government works around those freedoms.

Let’s look at a simply example that any man will understand and women will be amused though they would never admit so. It is Sunday morning and there is a one day sale at the mall and her favorite department store is adding additional savings above those the mall offers on purchases. Of course the Big Game comes on at 2:30 PM in the afternoon and it is approaching 11:00 in the morning and she demands that the two of you go have brunch at the mall and do a “little” shopping. Hopes of seeing the Big Game getting dimmer and dimmer, you do what any husband knows is the less painful thing and ready for the mall as quickly as possible so maybe, just maybe you will catch the last period of the game where you will have to provide your own level of excitement that the rest of the game presumably had generated. In a democracy such a decision would be voted upon and hopefully in the entire community men would all watch the game and the women, or most women, would converge on the mall and all would be happy. The real world is never that smooth and the bumps are always unexpected and raise the ire with government as somebody has to be blamed and they are as good a target as anybody, especially when you are changing the burst tire after hitting a pothole at fifty miles an hour on your way to work. You know the boss will be less than understanding, so the government is all to blame for not repairing the road; and if they are repairing the road, then why during rush hour making you late for work. Face it, government is always wrong, period.

So, terrorism, where is it that life sits on this. First thing is we all know that the routine of insanity we go through at the airport with the TSA (Transportation Safety Administration) experts makes life miserable and searchs every octogenarian while ignoring any profiling which might prove effective. This is the very TSA which misses detection of 90% of items in tests run by the agency itself. This government employment boondoggle offers somewhere between none and a miniscule amount of professionalism or competence and adds nothing to the safety of flying. We all know that if each airline was responsible for their own security, then we would see automated detection systems installed around the concourses and they would work together to provide such airtight security systems which have proven well over 90% effective in detecting suspicious persons. One of the, if not the, safest airports in the world, Ben Gurion outside Tel Aviv, has some innovative security as described in this article. But then Israel had little choice but to be on the top of security and anti-terror systems, and there lies one of the greatest terror fighting tools Israel had to develop and was likely the most difficult, but establish this system they have.

Israel is the one place you see just as many people running towards the explosion or gunfire of a terror attack as are fleeing. The ones heading towards the attack are IDF personnel with weapons (yes, the IDF soldiers trained in use of their weapon in the public sphere carry their weapons with them 24/7 and consider themselves always on duty), police, security personnel, first responders, health care professionals, emergency care personnel, motorcycle first responders (they treat survivors and perform triage and necessary emergency life-saving treatment such as stopping bleeding and immobilizing injured areas etc.), and armed citizens licensed to carry weapons (in Israel to own a weapon you must pass a course or have proven training in public use of weapons as all owners are encouraged during heightened security times to carry their weapon and these were many of the responders who saved lives during the stabbing intifada recently faced in Israel). People you pass every day on the streets and in the halls in Israel may very well be the person who saves your life in the instance of a terror attack and this does not cover others with military and security expertise who are retired or in new professions who also are likely to run towards the attack instead of away. A trained public is the first and best line of defense but takes decades to get trained and functioning as intended.

But Israelis have developed systems which work with minimal input or even independently monitoring entire crowds of people looking for particular actions some of which are subconscious but found by researchers to appear on people who should be suspected and potentially watched more closely. Another system asks each individual four simple questions which are as innocuous as anyone could be asked and upon the facial expressions it picks out things which would be mostly unnoticeable to even a professional but are cues to subliminal indicators and uses these to warn of potential criminal or terrorist activity potentials. These systems have been tested in trials and have proven their effectiveness. Within a couple of years such systems will be placed in airports, malls, movie theaters, at public events, sports stadiums and across the length and breadth of many major metropolitan areas monitoring everything people do throughout the monitored areas. These systems may become so sophisticated as to be capable of using even marginally decent camera images or cities might offer purchase subsidies in exchange to hooking their systems up to the city surveillance systems expanding their web even more intrusively. But currently we need to rely on more basic human fallible systems with people watching and taking off our shoes and who knows what else just to fly off to visit the grandkids or whatever. The United States has established a frequent flier and wealthy folks go around for airport security where one goes through a precheck and is given a biometric card such that a finger print or other measure scanned and matching the card electronic record they pass right through shoes still tied and belts in place without the aggravation and indignity of the TSA rigmarole.

Currently most terrorist prevention must be carried out in secret and without the public being aware of their successes. We will most definitely hear about every fail as that will be the headlines for days, possibly weeks. When they fail then their following investigations are often very public which puts the government in a tough spot as the public demands to know what they have discovered and what is being done to assure such an attack never again strikes their fair city and government needs to keep much of what they learn and what they plan to do and change in their techniques known only to them if these changes and new lines of information are to remain effective. New procedures and lines of gathering information and other intelligence gathering systems must remain unknown to the terrorists in order for them to remain viable. That is why much of what we are told after a terror attack seems so lame, lame the terrorists already know or can know and it will not make their operations more efficient and capable of being undetected, everything else must remain hidden for the people to be best protected. Such secrecy is technically undemocratic and more autocratic making those involved in such security aspects of life more informed than the average person on the street. For reasons which are less than logical many people get all forms of upset when they know the government is not being fully open with them, especially on a subject as vitally important as terrorists and the dangers they pose. On another side, would the public expect that every physicist working on the latest nuclear warheads as government workers reveal everything about their work in the New York Times? Of course not, that would be foolish and dangerous. Defending against terrorism is exactly the same, it needs to be kept unknown generally if it is to serve to the advantage of the nation and make everybody that much more safe.

That understood, there is still much we can know which will not compromise or stop terrorism. We can know that the Islamic State is not the JV and where the average terror fighter in the Islamic State is not Kobe Bryant, their top planners and bomb makers are Kobe Bryant as far as their line of specialties are concerned. That is important for us to realize as is the fact that they want the entire non-Muslim world to either convert to Islam, pay a special tax to them for the privilege of not becoming a Muslim or dead, and by dead we mean as painfully, embarrassingly, and video-shockingly as humanly possible. Anybody who has watched their videos they chose to showcase to the world realized that they are as imaginative as they are sick and mentally disturbed. What else we need to realize is that these people are considered great minds who are making Muhammad’s and Allah’s dreams for the world be realized. Think Inquisition and you begin to realize that the Western World already survived and moved past the concept of a single world religion. Some religious groups in the West moved beyond that earlier than others, but no need to go into that.

The other thing one need realize is there is no such thing as religious terrorism. All terrorism is political. Your religion can drive your politics but terrorism is all about who rules over who and that is political. Catholicism, also known as The Church, was as much a political body as it was religious. Think Cardinal Richelieu against King Louis XIII and Queen Anne (of Austria) and the Three Musketeers? The Church in France had their own armies and the King had two armies, one of the Realm with which he would defend France herself and a royal guard, the Musketeers, who protected the crown mostly from British intrigues and the forces of Cardinal Richelieu. There was another French Monarch who was very well appreciated by the Church; his name eventually became Holy Roman Emperor Charlemagne, King of the Franks and protector of the Church. Those were earlier times when a small kingdom could come close to conquering half the known world; think Ottoman Empire where a small tribe from northeastern Turkey conquered much of the Caliphate and held the lands of Middle East and Northern Africa slowly losing ground before being felled during World War I. One could say that the world changed breaking between before and after World War I. Before World War I where the world had empires and royalty ruled absolutely and post-World War I where the Ottoman Empire and Austrian-Hungarian Empire were split into individual countries and the rule of Kings and Queens in Europe gave way to representative governments and the Middle East and North Africa were ruled as colonies presumably to prepare for eventual representative governments which proved expensive and was untenable leading to simply deserting these nations soon after World War II and soon after dictators rose to rule in the vast majority of these countries and their arbitrary borders were much to blame and are now collapsing.

What will rise to replace the dictatorial monarchial governances in the Middle East and North Africa will also have much to do with the potential of terrorism growing worse or lessoning into the future. Democratic governance with a separation of Church, Synagogue, Mosque and State will result in a decrease in terrorism as each elected government will face the threat as well as the West and will thus find their bases being destroyed by the governments of the countries they use as their bases currently. On the other side there is a possibility that something of the ilk of the Islamic State could become resurgent and reinstate the Caliphate on the lands which originally constituted the Ottoman Empire and striving to reestablish the entirety of the original Caliphate which at its largest stretched from Spain and southern France ending at Tours, see Charles the Hammer Martel, all the way through then Persia stopping in northern India, see Taj Mahal. The likelihood of an empire rising across the Middle East and Northern Africa are very low as long as there is an elected and largely secular government in Egypt. I would be more concerned with a Muslim Brotherhood ruled Egypt than the Islamic State as Egypt has a very modern and powerful military as far as equipment of arms. They have modern fighter-bombers, tanks, rifles, artillery along with support, control and communications systems. Most of their current systems are from the United States with some older USSR equipment and are contracting for modern, state of the art Russian equipment. The Saudi Royal Family also stand in command of a modern military as does Iran who have the advantage that much of their equipment is manufactured in Iran. Then there is Israel, the cork in the bottle as many a military expert has referred to her. The instability in the Middle East and parts of Northern Africa is rife with terrorist entities, some intertwined fighting one another such as Islamic State, al-Nusra Front (al-Qaeda), Hezballah (Iran/Syria) and numerous smaller terror entities all embroiled in the remains of Syria and into Iraq and then the tribal groups some aligned with Islamic State, some with al-Qaeda and still others Muslim Brotherhood and some just for themselves in the imbroglio formerly known as Libya, aka the mess that Hillary made.

The solution to bring much of terrorism to an end is not that simple. One of the people at the forefront of this and with the correct idea is the current, as of this writing, President of Egypt Abdel Fattah al-Sisi who has called for a religious reformation of Islam and demanding that a path forward must include the ability for Islam to exist amongst the other religions and under secular governance and end its supremacy complex where it demands it be the sole religion and rule over everything which can be within its domain. Islam currently has no limitations on the extent of its domain and demands at a minimum it rule over the entire earth and that every person be a Muslim, eventually the exact same sect and potentially even learning from the same Imam. Wars in Islamic history have been fought over which leader was the legitimate leader of all Islam and that remains a point of contention to this day. There is the split between Sunni and Shiite which is the largest divide plus there are the Salafists, the Muslim Brotherhood, Islamic State, al-Qaeda and who knows how many other lesser sects or teachings all of which claim to hold the only true and pure form of Islam. As we have said here is the remarkable similarity to Highlander as in the end, there can be only one. Some of this is a direct result of the creed of an old Arab Bedouin saying: “I, against my brothers, I and my brothers against my cousins, I and my brothers and my cousins against the world (the stranger).” This mentality refuses anything or anyone different and is incapable of incorporating anything new or different into their lives or their ethics and politics. This is what has led to centuries of warfare as it was once the belief of humankind the world over. The initial expression of treating the stranger as a welcome guest was formalized in the Old Testament as was exemplified by Abraham and the way he would greet strangers by doing everything to be a gracious host. But such has not become the accepted norm around the globe with many cases as far from the norm as possible. Some areas on the globe have even moved further from such an open and accepting model. Much of the world still sees the other as a threat and as something or someone to be conquered or worse, destroyed completely. Until the world reaches a community of inclusiveness, terrorism will exist as a method to intimidate and destroy the other, the more technologically and often sociologically advanced and accepting ethos from what classically would be called the barbarians at the gates, or within the gates, depending on the realities. Many in the West are not seeing the barbarians at their gates and are opening their gates wide to allow them in in the mistaken belief that their great loving and accepting nature will win them over. History teaches us otherwise. We once before lost the technologically most advanced culture to the barbarians even if Rome had devolved spiritually and socially. The question is will we repeat that history again. The last time it brought on a darker age for much of the globe and allowed another culture to spread across much of the known world stopped only at some of the least expected of areas. Will we watch the world take a huge step backwards? More than likely as there is an entire liberal elite who thinking they know all better than anybody else are rushing headlong to disaster just to prove they were right, what if they are wrong?

When somebody mentions the Arab-Israeli peace process the first concept out of almost everybody’s mouth is “Two State Solution” and when asked for clarification they claim “You know, the Oslo Accord thingie with there being two states living side by side with the Arabs and Jews in peace and security.” That is when I like to claim that that already has been accomplished, so why are we still talking about it? That is when I usually get the deer in the headlights stare and weird sounds as they try to wrap their brains around why I am so completely out of my mind, and then I give them the magic formula, “There are two states right now, Hamastan in Gaza and the rest is Israel.” Where I may not have had this identical word for word exchange, I have had this exchange as the basic gist of a discussion and then it devolves quickly just as any honest discussion will with anybody taking the most popular reasoning for why the negotiations keep failing, Prime Minister Netanyahu or the Jews refuse to make peace because of the settlers. I go quietly and calmly ballistic and explain the reality and they inform me that until I take a reality check they are not going to waste their time trying to teach me what really is happening but assure me right before they walk away mumbling about my sanity and shaking their heads that Jews like me are the reason there can be no peace. That is one of the blessings of having made Aliyah; that discussion has not and probably never will occur furrowing my brow unless I make the mistake for going down to Tel Aviv and entering one of the exclusive and needlessly expensive coffee shops seeking to distress myself with two state give up the old city and West Bank Zombies still living in pre Arab Spring turned Winter mindsets. The one point they make which is valid is if there is to be a two state solution then Gaza and the parts of Judea and Samaria which has erroneously become the West Bank, a name invented by Jordan during their nineteen year occupation of lands west of the Jordan River; anyway, the two Arab areas must be unified under one entity. That leads to the other problem, no peace as such can be reached until the Arab civil war between the Palestinian Authority (PA) and the rulers in Gaza of Hamas and Islamic Jihad reach some agreement on common governance over their respective enclaves. That is another thing that will not be happening too soon either as the only solution which would have any hope of approval by the Arabs themselves would likely be Hamas if they held an actual election. Without any election the only other possibility would be for the Islamic State to come and replace Hamas and scare the life out of Mahmoud Abbas who would be screaming for the IDF to come protect him from the truly scary Arabs. So, you think that Islamic State would not replace Hamas and Islamic Jihad in Gaza? Let’s see.

There has already been a Gazan who died fighting with Islamic State as we mentioned yesterday reporting that Mufleh As’ad Abd al-Wahed Abu Aadra, aka Abu Abdullah, who was killed in or near Tripoli, Libya. This was reported as his wife received notice of his death on February 15, 2016 from Islamic State and she reported this and it was then reported by the Ma’an News Agency on February 16, 2016. People following the Islamic State or knew about Israel and the Arab-Israeli dispute would know that there have been Islamic State cells destroyed by the IDF before they caused any loss of life other than those who resisted arrest. A select few of the Islamic State cells were taken by the IDF within Section A which requires PA permission and thus makes it likely, or at least possible, that the PA could have detected the presence of Islamic State and requested Israeli assistance. In Gaza there are known to be Islamic State personnel who work with Hamas and Islamic Jihad arranging coordination with Islamic State forces in the Sinai Peninsula. This cooperation is partly why Egyptian President Sisi has ordered the smuggling tunnels flooded or otherwise destroyed. This has led to Hamas leadership accusing Egyptian President Sisi of being a stooge working for the Zionist Entity. Egypt has had their own difficulties with Islamic State, al-Qaeda and criminal enterprises all causing dire problems and great distress throughout the Sinai Peninsula. The real problems between the PA and Israel has nothing to do with the settlers, never did and never will because history has shown that for a real peace Israel will and has destroyed complete communities. When Egypt and Israel made their 1979 peace treaty Israel disbanded ten communities: Avshalom, Atzmona, Dikla, Holit, Netiv, HaAsara-Sinai, Nitzanei-Sinai, Ofira, Sufa, Talmei-Yosef, and Yamit. Then again in the August 2005 disengagement and unilateral effort Israel pulled out and destroyed twenty-six communities including one Bedouin village to the PA in the name of peace. The twenty-two including the Bedouin village in Gaza were: Bedolah, Bnei Atzmon (Atzmona), Dahaniyya (Bedouin), Dugit, Elei-Sinai, Gadid, Gan-Or, Ganei-Tal, Katif, Kfar-Darom, Kfar-Yam, Kerem-Atzmona, Morag, Neveh-Dekalim, Netzarim, Netzer-Hazani, Nisanit, Pe’at-Sade, Rafiah-Yam, Slav, Shirat-Hayam, and Tel-Katifa. Additionally, there were another four communities which were in areas being turned over to the PA in Judea and Samaria named Kadim, Ganim, Homesh, and Sa-Nur.

All too soon the PA and Hamas began skirmishing and an ever growing conflict which finally exploded through December 2006 and January 2007 culminating in February on 2007 with the two powers, the PA and Hamas splitting in June of 2007 with Hamas retaining military and civilian control in Gaza from which they have forced an average of a war every two years with Israel starting with escalating rocket attacks over ever greater areas beyond the will of any nation to have restraint before Israel even considers striking back in any forceful manner. Still, when Israel finally strikes back in force the world media responds with accusations of Israeli provocations and use of disproportionate force when Israeli defensive weapons such as the Iron Dome anti-missile systems and well-ordered society which use the nearly excessive numbers of shelters thus keeping the majority of the Israeli population safe while Hamas allows only their fighters to use sheltered areas and force their civilians into harm’s way with intent of causing maximum fatalities and injuries. Should Israel ever vacate any areas of Judea and Samaria allowing the PA to govern them without the presence of the IDF in areas very close to any point and sharing of intelligence then what would stop Hamas from gaining control and defeating the PA forces just as they had in Gaza? The answer is a simply nothing, absolutely nothing. But there is a problem for which we need to thank Germany’s Chancellor Angela Merkel, for initiating the program which went so completely wrong and was finally, eventually documented by a media which has a history of ignoring similar social challenges faced by Israel in dealing with a resolute and fated socio-religious system which structures Arab Palestinian society and governance and their different human right’s values or lack thereof and terribly underdeveloped social constructs with vaguely defined restrictions of interactions as compared with Western society. The New Year’s Eve base social aggressions by “refugee” males to German women across the country’s major cities that anywhere where people were found in close proximity groping and other unacceptable behavior reached levels so beyond acceptable levels that women were advised not to utilize certain central train stations.

Perhaps an example we recently found and can be viewed below, if we can summarize and still get the ideas across. One of the more revered Islamic clerics, Imam (Mufti) Hassan al-Laham was broadcasted giving a sermon from Gaza on Palestinian Authority TV on February 8, 2016. He gave marital advice on how to handle a difficult wife. He advised that initially the husband is to warn the wife “politely” in the hope that she will see and adjust to ease the difficulty, the troublesome actions. But what if she is also a stubborn wife who heeds not her husband? “Allah created a solution for this.” The Imam continues telling the husband that if his wife is one who requires additional management that, “Allah created a solution for this” and the husband should try “hitting that does not make her ugly.” We are advised that the Prophet Muhammad advised, “Do not hit the face and do not make her ugly. In other words, not hitting that will bring the police and break her hand and cause bleeding, or hitting that makes the face ugly.” This is not going to a good place according to Western culture and Western Law but the adviser continues advising, “The hitting is not meant to disfigure, harm, or degrade. The hitting will be like a joke. He will hit her jokingly.”

The above broadcast along with the examples of the inability of merging raw Islamic “refugees” without providing some period of adjustment coupled with education in what is acceptable behavior in Europe and what behaviors will result in their arrest and potential deportation. Such offenses are serious breaches not only etiquette but highly illegal and while molesting unaccompanied women or assaulting and striking anybody are against the laws, numerous laws which when prosecuted would necessarily result in a prolonged prison time and repeated offences would result in deportation, such behavior was acceptable in war torn Syria. One could hope that the recent offenses and other behaviors by the “refugees” would have educated Europeans to the fact that there is no compromise with the behaviors results in simply more egregious behavior and has been the fueling and driving force behind Israeli dealings with the PA as well as Hamas, Islamic Jihad and the other “Islamic entities Europeans demand Israel deal with in good faith.” Unfortunately such has proven not to be the case. If anything it has caused the Europeans to drive their demands for Israeli concessions or even leveling accusations that Israel has not sacrificed sufficiently to the PA and if Israel would take the necessary, though self-defeating, steps required to make peace with its Muslim entities to the point of sacrificing all of Israel then the behavior of their “refugees” would no longer be so difficult. How the European Union can see doubling down on pressuring Israel will help to relieve their suffering before equivalent difficulties with their Islamic forces is purely baffling, yet that is exactly what has become the case along with a number of additional calls by European entities for further sacrificing. There can be no further compromises as every compromise up until now has only set to harden the PA hearts, as if they were Pharaoh from Israeli history; while the PA, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Islamic State and the rest of the Arab and Muslim world gaze at Israel as the weaker nation with no confidence in their claims begging for peace purely out of fear.

This has been echoed across the United States and Europe with pro-Palestinian rallies where often the chanted slogan is, “Khybar, Khybar, oh Yahud (Jews), the armies of Muhammad Come for You!” Add to that the other almost War Cry of, “From the River to the Sea-Palestine Must be Free.” This idea of Palestine existing freed from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea would have it replacing Israel, not existing side by side. Put together at rallies organized by PA agitators and other supporters of Hamas, the PA’s al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades and by the liberation meaning replacing, not cooperating in any manner. This extremist view explains repeated refusal to make any compromise, and instead of making counter offers, the PA, ever since Camp David and Taba, has met offers, which they agreed to review only after requiring Israel make unprecedented and unwise sacrifices for peace, from Israel as pleas for being granted any agreement as long as they retained something far less than reasonable compromise would grant. The reason behind this absolute rejectionism resulted from the time the Israelis met the exact offer demanded by Arafat one day earlier stating his terms to President Clinton which surprisingly to all involved Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak who agreed to meet all demands which was then followed by rejection by walking out of the conference in Paris furious that Israel met the demands and Arafat returned to the Palestinian areas and initiated the Second Intifada and an end to peace talks. Ever since the demand made in Arabic to their own people has been clear, they will accept nothing less than all the lands and the death of Israel. That is the reality European demands for an Israeli surrender have produced; an irrational belief that the world led by Europe will vanquish Israel and then gift the land to the PA. I wish that were obvious delusional thinking but can one not claim that is not the result the Europeans also champion in secret in their private affairs. The PA leadership is convinced that all they will need do is wait and allow the United Nations, European Union, European sympathizing governments, and the United States will fight against Israel and bring their desired and inevitable surrender of Israel and the entirety of the Jews worldwide laid before them at their feet prostrated in submission. What makes this all the sadder is the rising numbers in Europe, the United States, World Wide and in the United Nations which has led the PA leadership to assume there is absolutely no need for them to condescend to talking with the Israelis as Israel will disappear once Europe organizes a great army to fight for Muhammad and destroy the Jewish State gifting them what once was Israel, the enemy they could never humble, let alone defeat, and then the entirety of the world coming under the rule of Islam. This is the endgame in the PA’s leadership’s minds and this is their new minimal goal which has come one step closer to fruition under President Obama who has issued many supportive claims and demanded Israel cede more lands than ever before. Between the invasion of Europe and their inroads gained in the United States and United Nations, the Arab and Muslim world believe that the entirety of the Western World will be gifted to and all they will need to do is decide on who will lead this great and wondrously new world, but that is the problems, is it not?

President Obama stating that the future must not belong to those who slander the Prophet of Islam

Currently the United States is under mismanagement and is not likely to change any time soon if the polling in the United States proves to be correct. We just cannot help thinking that the American people have lost their way and once again need someone to show them the path back to sanity. The unfortunate thing is that these polls show either Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders defeating Donald Trump. Donald Trump? Are the Republicans truly serious about choosing Donald Trump, aka The Donald, as their Presidential candidate? Such a choice would guarantee the United States taking what may prove to be a terminal nap as the time is once again upon the world when they desperately require the leadership of the United States. With the leftist now ruling across the continent and Angela Merkel single-handedly may have all but destroyed much of Europe, the influx of Muslim Islamists will make things all the more unstable. Apparently Europeans forgot the cartoon draw Mohammad disaster from a few years ago when scenes as the one pictured below were anything but rare and an angry and bitter Muslims threatened every corner of Europe and their reaction was pitiful. They acquiesced and promised to make it illegal to insult Islam, the Islamic Prophet Mohammad or take any actions which the Muslims might take offense from. This produced a grievance committee which then proceeded to take offense from almost everything without exception. Europe and many in the United States, especially on the college and university campuses, are where the leaders of the world for the next fifty years are being educated that Islam is sacred while Judeo-Christian ethics and morality are depraved and rejectionable. These will be the generation who potentially will sell the world to Islam for a promise of no more prayers at which point they will need prayer more than ever before. Will the future surrender to Islam? That remains to be seen but they are not being prepared to face what will be wrought, not preparing them in the slightest. If they follow the teachings and actions of their professors and university administrators then all they will know to do is roll over and play dead hoping that their new masters do not inflict too much pain and suffering. They will have held to also hope as the only real hope is to stand for your principles. Of course that requires having principles to begin with. Below is a reminder of what was, what actually is, and what will be the result if the path is not corrected and corrected soon. Winston Churchill once stated something so applicable to the world situation of today which we will post after the images of the past, present and possibly long into the future. The choice is to be made in the next decade or two and made by the youth who have been cheated of having any knowledge of history to guide them going further. If we could advise the youth of the world to study one subject and do so on their own without any bias other than the obvious biases they know each book to hold and not a bias which must be ingrained to pass some far left or far right professor’s class, we would advise histories of the Middle East and North Africa, Europe from Alexander the Greek to modern day, the Mongols, and the years and wars of the first fifty years in United States history, a subject even our education did not teach in any real depth and that, we fear, was due to their teachers’ lack of knowledge or in depth reasons which is what is so vital today.

Winston Churchill said, as promised:

“If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed; if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves.”

The Israeli Political Class is the Problem

There is a malaise in Israel. The pale it casts darkens all horizons. There are those who claim they are Zionists; And those who claim they are Nationalist; And there are those hiding behind a title of Zionism and Union with the world. Let’s face it, if you are truly a Zionist, truly a Nationalist then you would hold to the dream, the dream of the great Zionist Nationalists who went before. The ones whose names precede the State of Israel; the ones whose names echo in the minds of those who have the flame within; the giants whose tombs we approached with reverential honor and a small amount of trepidation because we know those graves will ask us what we have done. What can we tell these giants who handed us a State, a Jewish and Zionist State which spread from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea. They understand the land lost in the great first war where we were unable to regain Gaza and all of Judea and Samaria and even a small part of Benyamin but worst of all we lost half of Yerushalayim including the entirety of the Old City, the Temple Mount, the Mount of Olives, Mount Moriah, as well as Kever Yoseph, Kever Rachael and the Cave of Machpelah. We lost Mount Gerizim and Mount Ebal which were the Mounts of blessings and curses respectively and the curses far outnumbered the blessings, a warning we should always heed. As it was written:

Devarim (Deuteronomy) 11:29:7
And it shall come to pass, when the LORD thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, that thou shalt set the blessing upon mount Gerizim, and the curse upon mount Ebal.

Jericho, Bethlehem, Shechem (Nablus), Hevron, and all the lands, towns, cities which existed under Jordanian occupation from 1948-9 until liberated in June of 1967 in the Six Day War are returned to Eretz Yisroel and must be incorporated into the land in order that we may settle the lands of Eretz Yisroel. As the Jordanians had granted to those who desired citizenship, citizenship which it claimed to cancel after their losing the lands, proving these Arabs, who were no different than Jordanian Arabs, had no value to their brothers unless they were displacing, what even Jordanians would call, the accursed Jews, we can just feel the warmth. Those who were granted Jordanian citizenship should have immediately been given a simple choice; remain in Israel as alien Jordanian residents of Israel; request and work through an acclimation and absorption series of classes in Hebrew, Old Testament and Jewish traditions and practices; or take a generous offer for their lands and structures such as homes and businesses and cross the Allenby Bridge all the wealthier and then proceeded anywhere in the world but Israel. This would have settled the problems with the liberation of the remainders of Judea, Benyamin and Samaria and incorporated all of the lands within their natural borders of Israel. As far as the Waqf and the Temple Mount, they could have been granted jurisdiction over actual recognized Islamic structures while the different Christian sects would work out between themselves who was responsible and was the official caretaker of what parts of which Christian holy site, and the State of Israel would guard, clear, clean and allow universal prayer rights to all across the entirety of the Temple Mount not within a structure and thus under some governance.

No areas of now fully liberated and free Israel other than specific holy sites would be held and governed by some foreign entity, especially a terrorist group which is exactly that the Palestinian Authority (PA) is, just prettied up by renaming the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) to Fatah and then allow an election to place them in charge of something called the Palestinian Authority (PA) and claim they are now a partner for peace. It is all a scheming lie thought out by the powers other than Israel in the rest of the world such as the United Nations, European Union and its predecessor the European Common Market, the United Nations, Soviet Union, United States, Britain, France, Germany and some individual people with more money than brains all decided that they were slowly but inexorably going to destroy Israel replacing it with an Arab State, not the Arab State but an Arab state as it would be the twenty-third Arab State because twenty-two are not sufficient so the one and only Jewish State must be erased from the earth and replaced with the twenty-third, or if Hamas makes one and Fatah makes one they would be the twenty-third and twenty-fourth Arab States. But that would not be fair to Islamic Jihad so perhaps they could have a twenty-fifth Arab State. And the twenty or so self-important families who have gained sufficient power and finances to demand their own fiefdom? We cannot slight them after all they have done to enslave Palestinians. Truth be told, whatever Arab entities are formed would all be dysfunctional requiring a constant stream of money in order to claim functionality. Thus the world would be demanded to continue the investment of billions of Dollars and Euros every year with it soon to rise to trillions except for one small item; once these entities have taken Israel out, the world will lose all interest and these entities will be on their own which would soon result in five to ten surges of refugees leaving these dysfunctional states seeking the comfort of the European Union and member state’s safety net to care for them as they plot the overthrow of whatever friendly bureaucracy was feeding them. One need remember that the sole thing these Arabs have been trained to do is throw rocks and claim themselves victim to any and all conspiracies happen to be popular, the one percenters at the bottom using the government to allow them to change places with the top one percent. Even if such were possible and the European Union actually did such a useless venture, the new top one percent would be the bottom one percent within three years and the previous top one percent would rise from the ashes as unto the phoenix reborn from the flames and depths of poverty right back to near if not in the top one percent. But the world would be left wanting, forever the poorer, if they destroy Israel.

Why would we claim the world would be lost without Israel? Well, that is an easy one. Should Israel disappear, as the powers that be appear to desire, then soon the world would lose the remnants of the Jewish race as with nowhere to run and find other Jews ready to defend the family, they would simply perish as their connection to Judaism, true and Torah observant Judaism, is barely tenable as it is and would be cut forever without a place to call home. The rising anti-Semitism is claiming that its roots are in Israel and the brashness and irreconcilable rejection of making peace and allowing the formation of another Arab state taken out of its lands, its hide so to speak. The British Mandate lands were supposed to be the Jewish State but the British made as a justification for stealing over three-quarters of the land that the Jews would never number sufficient population to require as much land as was set aside, as if there would never in any future be the possibility of Jews in numbers to require more than the lands left for them which are attempting to again steal pieces. Jordan ended up with the lion’s share of the land but there is no manner of way the world would have Jordan absorb these people whom they once granted citizenship and then rescinded it when the land was returned to Israel. People need to understand that on the morning that Israel became a nation, her borders included all the lands west of the Jordan River, all of Gaza, all of Judea, all of Benyamin and all of Samaria. Jordan and Egypt were the true occupiers, the real colonialists taking lands from an indigenous people. But now there has been invented a new indigenous people who have their claimed roots in Judea and Samaria called Palestinians. They never resided in Syria, Jordan, Egypt or had ancestry from the Arabian Peninsula, they have lived in the “West Bank” practicing Islam for nine-thousand years according to a statement made and then retracted from the PLO Facebook page. Never mind that they were not present in the years before 1850 and almost none were reported residing here in Mark Twain’s account of his travels in the Holy Lands, neither Jew nor Arab as the entire population was as sparse as the vegetation, look it up.

But that has changed, and boy has it changed. There are bustling cities with tall new buildings with their glass and steel gleaming from amongst a patina of the old which still remains and refuses to surrender its land but slowly the new replaces the old as if a correction bringing modernity to a land whose ancient roots run deep into the soil. There is a vibrancy and in the north between the rising metropolises there are farms and open grazing lands still used by shepherds and their flocks who follow ancient routes to their grazing areas doing so as they have for centuries thus knowing when to move saving the lands so it will refresh for the visit next year. The mixing of new and old is even evident in the farming as in some of the less arable lands the water is recycled constantly with nutrients carefully injected into full hillsides of hydroponics raising crops and produce year round. There are orchards of olive trees seemingly as old as the hills whose sides they cling to as if to claim their area and protect it from other plants soaking up sun and soil. There are even mixtures of peoples with some wearing the dress from centuries gone faded into the past in Europe and the rest of the Western World but preserved as so much is in this truly ancient land that is sprouting a new shape amongst the old. Israel reflects the culture in which start-up companies appear in numbers unmatched around the world and only exceeded by nations beyond comparison in size and populations. Yet there is a hesitancy amongst many who fear the world and what it might think or say. In a land where boldness exudes from every corner and people strike out to force their way into the world and high-tech is the buzzword as well as the byword for so many, but those are not the politicians. Even those who made their name in technology and innovation and have now turned to politics soon lose their formidable presence and soon become hesitant, troubled. They begin to doubt even themselves, or so it seems. The brash and strikingly bold politicians who rose and defended the land in deed and word and always with style that was proper but always gave a spark of hubris appear to have deserted Israel and been replaced with the crafty and calculating always guarding their against misstep and so carefully crafting their words that they too often nuance their meaning making it unintelligible. The glamour and wonder of your words lose effect if their meaning is not starkly defined and presented framed and complete. Israel has too little precious land and lives in the midst of a roiling cauldron with wars surrounding her and threats come even from within the Knesset itself where more than a handful of traitors do stir. They are the ones with the brash boldness from which too many wilt. When they scream and make a tempest, it is requisite upon every true Zionist to take the wind from their sails and use it to sound the ram’s horns and bring down their pedestals like we brought down the walls of Jericho.

Perhaps what we have are too many nationalists who can live with splitting off pieces of land arguing demographics to give this away today and Hashem knows what tomorrow. The Zionist knows the boundaries which were promised by Hashem and knows that the rest of the world is equally aware though they lie and steal ambuscading that which is known but all too seldom stood upon as the principle they are. We need more Zionists of the bravado and principle as those of ages past, those like Ze’ev Jabotinsky, Rabbi Meir Kahane or more recently Menachem Begin who was a fighter who also knew the value of an honest peace. None of these Zionists would have allowed the bringing into the lands the beating heart of terrorism and murderer of all Israel if given the slightest opportunity. There is no need for Israel to surrender even a single atom of our lands because the Europeans or the Americans say we must. We need only listen to what we know and from the words of Hashem revealed in Torah, everything else is noise and confusion. We have to deal in reality of our requirement which was spelled out for us three thousand years ago when we were instructed to go and settle the land. We were not told to go and parcel out the lands to those who would simply take what we gave them and use it to launch new wars and attacks on our people. We even tried that and Hashem has made clear what our mistakes have been, we surrendered lands which were not ours to gift as these lands belong to Hashem. They do not belong to the Ministers of the Knesset; they do not belong to the mediators such as John Kerry or previously Madeline Albright or Hillary Clinton or anybody walking the lands today, yesterday or tomorrow. Hashem made it very concise and clear, the land belongs to Hashem and we are to be the caretakers, which does not include giving it to those who will despoil the land and create abominations upon our specifically outlined duty to the land that Hashem portioned out for us to care over. Hashem did not say share the land, that was the group the “Guess Who.” We need to return to doing what is prescribed in Torah and in that pursuit we will be blessed and any deviation from that is an accursed act for which we will reap curses. Where have all the Zionists gone, certainly not into politics and we need such to sacrifice and walk into the dens of iniquity, the lions’ den and be assured that Hashem will walk with you.
