Too Many Leaves Have Fallen

 

In these days between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, Jewish New Year and the Day of Atonement, Jews spend much of their free time, and some of the not so free time, reflecting on their actions and shortcomings of the last year and also their entire lives where less than golden practices became habit. In this time I have too often strayed beyond my shortcomings and looked beyond to the shortcomings of my people and the entirety of the human race. Slavery has to be a practice which was carried on far too long nearly into modern times and even now exists in some measure. We were slaves and know its hardships which we recount every year at our Seders. Passover is one of the singular observances where traditions are pretty much set in stone. The odd thing is there are different stones for Jews of different backgrounds. I should know as my father was as Ashkenazi as one can be and my mother was equally Sephardim. Perhaps this was why we only got a half serving of rice at Passover and never enough for a meal. The Seder service which is said in the home in privacy closes with an important and universal hope of all Jews, “Next year in Yerushalayim (Jerusalem). The Seder is far from the only set of prayers which end with this overriding and continual desire amongst all Jews no matter their individual customs, Jerusalem, as the Song of Babylon states, “If I forget thee may my right hand lose its cunning (strength) and my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth.” That is the seriousness a Jew or any Israelite feels for their eternal Capital City and why the Arabs so demand they control the Old City, the part of which that pleading relates for they know that is the Jewish heart.

 

Remembering our past no matter where your ancestry originates there were pogroms, purifications, jihad, and just simple hatreds which drove our ancestors from their homes with what they could carry. All too often the older children had to carry the younger while father and mother carried what meager belongings they could, the Shabbat table cloth, candle holders, challah plate and cover were mother’s load in addition to what kitchen utensils she could manage while father carried his Tallits, Tefillin, Prayerbooks, Siddurim, Haggadah, necessities for his trade (which may include leading a cow or two or sewing machine, threads, cloth, butchery knives, or whatever and the Rabbi and sons carried the Torah, as many as possible and a few more as leaving even one behind was unthinkable), and whatever other items mother or children could not continue without (his was the burden of family). These fleeing Jews were often the fortunate ones as behind them were those Jews who joined the too lengthy list of fallen leaves. Every Pogrom, Purification, Jihad, forced conversions, Crusades, conquest for Allah, blame for every calamity, blame for disease in the community, and all too often just because we were Jews the leaves fell. People ask how humans could treat their neighbor so cruelly. Well, look to Europe or the past hundred years in the Arab and Muslim worlds or to Russia and remember Nazi Germany and the reasons abound.

 

One need understand the enormity of the history of the Israelite people. Abraham, Isaac and Jacob came from the time when agriculture and herding were just coming into their own and the city states were forming. At this point the first Jews were but a family and believe it or not we are largely still that very same family plus those we have married and the few converts over the ages, often these converts also married into the family and converted in order to do so. There are the claims that the Exodus from Egypt we brought numerous non-Jews with us and if one reads Torah they will see we know of this and these people were kept in a separate camp and were partially responsible for the sin of the golden calf. These others were sent on their separate way with many sailing to Greece with even some Jews who found our ways too difficult and desired a more earthy and pleasure seeking existence which was all the rage in those primitive times. Egypt saw us build a city to a Pharaoh who fashioned himself to be a god. The story of our exit from Egypt is chronicled in the best-selling book in history and one of, if not the, first books ever printed by the printing press. Our travels and travails of forty years in the desert are well chronicled and many youth learn of it early in their educations. The reason why is not so well noted. Put simply, we lacked faith in the promise from Hashem that the land would be granted us by His hand. Instead ten of twelve spies told of giants living in cities behind great and unbreakable walls. The illogic of giants needing walled cities never occurred to the Israelites who reacted to these recounting with great timidity and fear. The two who told of peoples in fear of the coming of the chosen of Hashem and a land flowing with goodness went unheeded as the Jewish people who had lived a life under slavery had not the bravery or independent spirit to conquer a land even with Hashem. For forty years we gave birth to a new people free of the yoke of slavery and filled with the miracles of Hashem such as the manna which fed them in the parched desert of the wastelands they traveled through.

Jericho put to rest the fears of the former generation as its great walls were no match for the formulae given by Hashem which brought them down. The following victory of Ai and then of the combined armies of the Kings of Canaan proved Hashem truly would grant us the land. What is often passed over is that the Torah gives the Jews the exact method we are to pursue when coming into our promised land with any tribes of people who reside within and it is a very simple method for selecting how one treats those tribes. We are to make them a simple offer. They have three choices of varying ease for their people. The most easy is to remain within the lands on the lands they hold and simply obey the Seven Laws of Noah, the Noahic Code and we will both live and prosper in peace. They can leave the lands and we will not pursue them and wish them well. The least favorable choice is they can choose to war with us at which time we will endeavor to kill every last inhabitant and member of their tribe and burn their crops, slaughter and leave for the buzzards their cattle and remove any and all record that they ever existed from the story of mankind. That was then and we no longer live in those times. What is not well known is that some of the Canaanites chose the first two options and were granted what was promised.

 

History passed and we had an expository period under King David and King Solomon who conquered lands until they reached the Euphrates River, the farthest we have ever reached and we desire far less today, only what was promised which is well documented and for the sake of my regular readers we will not go over this again. You’re welcome. The life went well until we had strayed from Torah and had practiced even idolatry and thus lost the guardianship of Hashem so we fell before the Babylonian sword. This was not our best of times but this exile ended when the Persians conquered Babylon and knowing of Hashem from their recounting of history beseeched that we return and rebuild our Temple and worship Hashem as we desired and simply pay our tribute to the Persians and we would be left in peace. Rather nice of them had that continued forward but there came an overachiever named Haman the Agagite and descendant of Agag, the king of the Amalekites and our saving grace in the form of the Persian Queen Esther. We built the Second Temple and in human history soon thereafter came such luminaries as Confucius, Buddha, Tao, and others who all founded various ancient religions of which a few continue into the modern era. The namedropping was more as making note in history when much of what we call a more modern age came into being and where much of Eastern philosophy had its roots. Eventually we once again gained our freedom, but wait, there’s more.

 

Eventually there was the inevitable family squabble and the Tribes of Israel chose sides with the ten northern tribes taking the name Israel and the southern two tribes being called after the far larger tribe, Judah and the Priestly tribe remained spread amongst the people and largely in Jerusalem under Judah. After the ten northern tribes were carried away as slaves by the Assyrians there were just the priests in Jerusalem and the tribes of Benyamin (a smaller tribe) and Judah the lion, the defenders of the southern borders, remained where most belonged to the tribe of Judah so we became Judeans and eventually simply Jews. The Assyrian Greeks eventually defeated Judah as well and then the Polemic Greeks and one more the Assyrian Greeks followed by the Romans. The Romans got a little put out after the Jews, the name had cemented by them, did which no other people managed, threw off the Roman yoke twice. They dispersed the Jews to the far reaches of their kingdoms and everywhere inbetween such that we would never again challenge Roman rule. That worked rather well and as the Roman Empire slowly crumbled the Jews spread even further but we had a secret weapon through which we remained attached to Jerusalem and our lands always hoping for the Messiah to return us to Eretz Yisroel, and that weapon is Torah. Torah is our history, our rules for life, our traditions, and our defining center which keeps us in touch with Hashem and our covenant and the promises Hashem gave to us. The Torah has kept us a family despite great distances and the stories abound of Jews traveling to a strange place often not by their choosing and upon arrival finding family there, finding Jews who greeted them as only family greets one they have never even known existed. This too was one of the many strands of string that when twined together make the rope which will eventually be spun in Israel, in Jerusalem.

 

Now, as we gather slowly from the far corners of the globe from America to Europe to Japan and the Philippines and India or Ethiopia as well as South Africa, Australia, even the outback and places even stranger and more remote, the time has come to stop believing we are Jews as we no longer are. Jew was the name we were given in captivity by the Greeks and Romans who shortened Judean to Judian to Juw which became spelled Jew. The actual spellings and pronunciations are not important but what Jew came to mean to the gentiles is important. The Jew was the reason for famine, for plague, for war they were always siding with the enemy on both sides as both sides saw Jews fighting for their enemy but were blind to the Jews fighting with them in their armies. The Jew was accused of every ill and even potential harm and the fact that the Jews lived in their own small area, ghetto, and practiced a different religion, often the parent religion to the one the others practiced, they had to be the reason as they were the other wherever they found themselves. When the time came to clean the lands of the disbeliever, the Jew too was cast out or burned at the stake, hung, crucified or whatever punishment was dealt the disbeliever. Often they were simply driven from the land and forced to travel through place after place before finding one which allowed them to settle and reside for the time being. The Jew always kept a number of suitcases packed and one special suitcase in which all their religious items were kept. They would be removed when required to observe the Sabbat or to do morning prayers or observe a holiday and then carefully and respectfully repacked in case they had to leave with little notice. This suitcase was the first one grabbed by the mobs of the pogrom, Crusade or whatever reason was for killing the Jews as this suitcase must have precious jewels to be so carefully guarded. Imagine the look when all they found were some candlesticks, candles, a special tablecloth and few other religious items and books but no jewels or gold or silver other than the few religious items, often only the Shabbat candlesticks. The main thing is the Jew was a temporary guest to be bullied and thrown away when hatreds overwhelmed the people and a frenzied mob sought a target.

 

We are now coming home and we are not going to be bullied or thrown from our lands. We may not be granted easy access to all our lands, even our most precious Biblical Lands in Judea and Samaria. Jerusalem will hopefully not allow to be divided and we again forbidden from visiting our Temple Mount which we built during the times of the Second Temple before Christianity and long before Islam came into this world. Allowing the Synagogues we so meticulously restored or even rebuilt to once again be defiled and destroyed would be a sin of great magnitude. Where we need to try and be accommodating and live with our neighbors on this little sphere orbiting an insignificant star in a moderately large galaxy soon to be merged with an even larger galaxy, we also must remain true to ourselves, our history and, most of all, to Hashem which means that Jerusalem’s old city must remain with the Temple Mount as an intricate and vital part of Israel. The Islamics know the importance of these areas which is the sole reason they demand them to be separated from the Jews. This is the same story which was the reason there were so many wars between Christian and Muslim over Jerusalem and only Jerusalem as that was the reason behind the Crusades and the Islamic conquests, they both wanted to hold the City of the Jewish holiest of places as that is the home of Hashem which both claim to worship (the validity of such claims cannot be covered in brief even in this article). But Jerusalem must remain a part of what is Israel and that should not ever be placed in doubt and slowly the Israelis are realizing this fact.

 

As for the name Jew, that needs change. Those of us residing here in the Holy Lands of Israel are no longer merely Jews even if we are of the seed of Judah, we are Israelites once again. With the airlift of Ethiopians and the Bnei Menashe community from India home to Israel we are once again to be known as the tribes of Israel. There is a group in southwestern India who call themselves the Tribe of Ephraim who were found when a Chabad couple shared a Passover Seder with them. With these tribes of the ten lost tribes of Israel reappearing, the people of Israel are not all but universally of the tribe of Judah, we are once again in transition and should recognize such and refer to ourselves as what we are, Israelites, the Tribes of Israel reuniting in our ancient and holy homelands.

 

Some may ask what should become of the Arab Palestinians. Well, we can offer them three choices. They can live in their own area under their own leadership in a semiautonomous area within Israel where we promise them security and to live in peace and in return they obey the Noahic Code, or they can leave and settle elsewhere in the world and we will wish them safe travels and the best of luck and promise not to pursue them or do them harm as they leave, or they may choose to treat us with violence and hate and do injury to us as a form of war for which we will do as we can to destroy their existence and to erase the fact that they ever resided amongst us. That is what any other people would do and for those who doubt such we would like to point to items such as Northern Ireland and the British.

 

Continuing on, other examples abound such as the Spanish and the Tribes of the Basque and Spain and even France, the many different tribes which made up Yugoslavia until they each went their separate ways, the Czech Republic and Slovakia which separated from Czechoslovakia and the numerous nations which were formed by the victorious powers after World War I that make up much of the Arab Islamic world today and which are now breaking even further into tribal regions, and the conquered lands which now live under the fist of their conquerors such as Tibet or those threatened by nations claiming their right to regain control of these areas such as Taiwan and Mainland China (Red China if your old enough to remember that term) and also Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Belarus and the currently challenged Ukraine all of which are currently under direct or indirect challenge from Putin the Invader’s Russian bear. The changing tides of war and the formation and dissolution of nations has not ended as many wished to believe and world wars are no longer unimaginable. The claim that after the fall of the Soviet Union that history had ended and everything was now at peace and in equilibrium leading Francis Fukuyama to write a piece titled, “The End of History?” which has proven as much folly as the claim once made by the Commissioner of the United States Patent Office in 1899 who it is (attributed) claimed to have said, “Everything that can be invented has been invented.”

 

With all the turmoil in the world today, it is beyond reasonable but is yet true that the world considers what the Israelis do within the lands granted under international laws and treaties to them for their homeland dating from the early 1920’s and the numerous conferences, treaties and conventions which were signed by all the parties involved including the Arab League and King Farouk granting the lands west of the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea to be the area for the land of Israel to be formed. We, the Israeli people ask for no more than that which all powers, even to include the Arabs and Japan, British, French, German, Ottoman, Russian, and eventually the United States, League of Nations and United Nations all recognized and gave their blessings and agreement and yet to this day this is contested. The facts are not contested, just the realization, and there appears to be an undercurrent which is driven by the concept that by ridding the world of Israel, and with it the Jewish people once and for all, will end their ever considering having a real home anywhere on Earth. This is considered a desirable and possible eventuality by the leaders of the Western World to appease and pacify the Arab World. There is one answer for such people, and it is what we promised, “Never Again!”

Arabs Are Still Slashing at Israelis’ Throats

 

The news even within Israel has come to accept a few stabbing attacks, a lesser amount of shooting and ramming crowds with vehicles and especially rock throwing of every size and the injuries which result as normal and not news-worthy. That has become our status-quo, our new normal. This was a part of the Second Intifada from which the Arab Palestinian Syrians, Egyptian, Iraqi, Saudi Arabians, Turkish and even Iranian and Yemenis learned that by staging stepped-up violence very slowly by increments introducing the next new tactic for the current intifada with one or two the first three or four weeks and then step it up slowly from there. The newest violence in the current intifada has been shooting attacks from sniper style shootings with the rare but occasional close-range shooting. The entire range of other attacks are still occurring on a regular basis but not greatly escalated so as to allow the frog to get used to the warmer water before turning it up towards boiling. We are not exactly thrilled with the fact that our government is more interested in eating one of our own soldiers more than they are going after known terrorist inciters and planners and bringing charges and drag them before a judge, not our soldiers who realize the truth; this is a war and one side must win if it is to ever end. In the end there will be only one state existing between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea and we would really prefer that that state be Israel as the other choice ends any dream for a Jewish State anywhere in the world and with the slaughter of millions of Jews who were unable to flee in the ensuing days it took to totally defeat the IDF and gather the Jews from the conquered areas into camps ready for the slaughter, providing they do not shoot every Israeli non-Muslims and even assimilated Muslims as they advance. Whatever would happen, it would not be pretty.

 

Everybody is missing the point of the argument which devalues the claims made by the Arabs as their arrival by-and-large can be traced to post 1933 after much of the water reclamation had been established by early Jewish Zionists who had a great faith in Hashem and somewhat less an allegiance to the Rabbis and organized religion. For these Jews the call was to return to the land and the land would be kind to them and give them crops and all would be well. Perhaps it was not mentioned in the brochure but, they were going to need to dig irrigation canals and water-ways all while being shot at by the arriving Arabs largely from Syria who came and simply plopped themselves down and helped themselves to the land which the early Zionists had provided with water. After sufficient numbers of mostly Syrian Arabs had begun squatting on the land, they decided to do something about the Jews who were building the waterworks. They began shooting at them and whenever the British authorities would try to arrest an Arab or prevent their attacks on the Jews the Arabs rioted. This action had the exact result for which it had aimed; it ended any British attempts to prevent the Arabs from attacking Jews. The British found it far preferable for the Jews to be the targets than their troops, as their troops were obviously more important to the British than law producing order and thus risking British lives for Jewish lives just was not viewed as necessary.

The very first Zionist returnees came back to Eretz Yisroel, to what would eventually become Israel, and arrived in the 1850s up until the start of World War I. Parts of the fighting in World War I was, oddly enough, in the Middle East against the Ottoman Empire. The British reinforced their presence in Egypt largely and recruited some troops from north of the Sinai Peninsula and named the unit the Palestinian Brigade. Then in World War II again there was a Palestine Brigade which was largely manned by Jews. These Jewish units were disbanded almost immediately after the end of the war as the British were not going to pay a Jewish regiment if they were not under fire and in active combat or some other vital war necessary actions. This is also true for the Arab troops who made up as many as thirty-three percent according to some sources though most place the level closer to twenty percent with some estimates going even lower; those lower estimations are often received by hostile reaction from the Arab world who largely claim that their efforts in both World Wars entitled them to all the lands ever conquered by Islamic forces. This maximalist Islamic claim is at the heart of the Palestinian Authority and Hamas along with the various other Islamic terrorist forces and nations claims that all of Israel is occupied lands. They include Tel Aviv, Haifa, Nahariya, Akko, Eilat, Tiberius, Caesarea and everyplace else across the width and breadth of Israel. The fact Israel exists makes the Arab Muslim see this tiny strip of land as the foothold which will bring on Greater Israel. Nothing could be further from the truth as the expectations of the average Israeli is just allow us the lands promised by the British in the 1920s when they divided the Mandate making the Palestinian Arab state of Transjordan, today known as simply Jordan, and promised the lands west of the Jordan River and west of the Jordanian border to be sacred and promised for the establishment of a Jewish State. That is what would make everything fair and if there need be funds used to buy out those Arabs and others who wish to depart after selling their lands and all, then Israel would very likely invest heavily in such a program as not doing so is counterproductive and potentially a sign of dementia.

 

 

 

This is the reality between Israel and the Arab world. There is no such thing as a Palestinian and only those who were referred to as such by the British were actual Palestinians. The Arab residing in what would become Israel considered themselves to be Syrian and residing in Southern Syria. In 1920 the term Naqba (catastrophe, earth shaking and dooms day portraying) referred not to Israel as Israel did not yet exist or even have taken form in treaty. This was referring to the fact that Greater Syria, as it was called by the Ottomans, was being divided north from south with the French holding the Mandate in the north and Britain the Mandate in the south and the Arabs in the south feared that the border would never be opened and thus they could not make their pilgrimage to Damascus. The importance of Damascus cannot be under stressed as when the Islamic Caliphate broke in two, the holders of the Arabian Peninsula and controlling Mecca (and Medina) was at a standoff with the Syrian conquest which was not solely Arab and thus they were denied entry to go to Mecca and commit the demand to make the Haj. This led to a crisis and initially the northern Caliph made Jerusalem the target city for the Haj for their kingdom which lasted all of about three months as the conditions and weather in Jerusalem was considered too brutal and the city itself was in disrepair. This led to using their actual capital city of Damascus and casting off Jerusalem as uninhabitable and whoever desired living there was welcome to their misery. So Damascus became a legitimate city in which one could satisfy making the Haj if they were refused entry into Mecca. With this divide the Arab Muslim in the south went absolutely orbital in their rage. That is why all their screaming now about Jerusalem is seen by those who know history and understand the reasons behind many of these demands can laugh at the preposterous idea of Jerusalem as an Arab or Muslim holy city. Jerusalem may have implied importance in the Quran but it is derived through manipulations as Jerusalem was not under Islamic control at any point during Mohammad’s life, period. The furthest Mosque during Mohammad’s times was approximately five hundred to a thousand kilometers north of Medina along the Arabian coast.

 

Meanwhile, the stabbings continue and the main Israeli concern is why did the soldier have to go shoot and kill an unfortunate and poor little terrorist who had just taken part in a stabbing in which two people, one of which we know was another soldier who was friends with the shooter, were stabbed and wounded sufficiently to require hospitalization and was obviously a terrorist who desired to murder as many Israelis, he hoped would be Jews, and preferably become a shahids. To become a shahids one must die while fighting for Allah or in a cause of Allah. Killing Israelis is considered such an action so if one can get the IDF or other security police to shoot and kill them they achieve shahids status, their family receives a nice check from the Iranians and the family receives a stipend presumably for the rest of time and for a short while the family is lauded and shown great honor and respect, almost reverence. Additionally, shahids receive the greatest regards when joining Allah as they receive riches and seventy-two raven haired and beautiful perpetual virgins who are a virgin every time the shahids takes them. I am not sure what one would do with seventy two perpetual virgins after they have gone to a life after death as they would necessarily be in an ethereal state of being with no real body as we know them and carnal pleasures would be impossible, so what good are raven haired beauties and are they flesh and blood or also ethereal? But the idea which has been drummed into the young Arabs’ heads is that dying for Allah is a reward which is beyond measure and these kids believe it to be so. It is both insane and sad and places the IDF and security personnel in a terrible situation as they know these youths are going to continue to attack and try to murder Israelis and they are ordered to try not to kill these terrorists and only to wound them shooting for their legs. This does not stop some from continuing to attempt to stab people even after being shot multiple times. Their desire appears to be more than equal in demanding they be shot dead as their desire is to be shahids and that requires dying in one’s efforts to murder innocent civilians. This is partially why Israeli judges are so reluctant to use the death penalty which exists in Israel but may as well be a forgotten truth. Israelis have been murdered since the beginning of this terror war and more will die in the future and there is only one way to end that truth, end the war by the only means possible, win the war decisively and completely. Yes that means driving those who are fighting against us over the Jordan River and transferring people en-masse from their homes if they refuse to take an oath not to attack or try to destroy or disrupt Israeli life. The truth be told, the end number of “Palestinian Arabs” would be less or at most equal to the numbers of Jews forced from the Arab world defined as pictured above. That is the reality as Mahmoud Abbas and the Palestinian Authority government through every means at their disposal have brainwashed an entire two generations to live for one thing and one thing only, to kill as many Israelis, preferably Jews, on their way to becoming shahids and they are to keep killing until stopped, permanently stopped. It is a sickness and a hatred bred into their fiber as it was with the Nazis, and the correlations between the Islamic hatred for Jews, especially the Mufti of Jerusalem, the one during World War II spent much of the war in Berlin and rubbed elbows with the cream of the Nazi machinery and was friendly with Hitler and the hierarchy who carried out the Final Solution and had reached agreements with the Nazis to assist his cleansing of Arab lands of their Jews once the Nazis had conquered them from the British as the British held Jerusalem and Egypt during the war. This fight is for all the land and will be fought to its bitter end even if that take the rest of time, and that is the truth which must be taken into any tactical decisions. The smartest tactic is to end this low grade war by whatever means are necessary and allow the results to be as they may and then stick to it and ignore the missives from Washington, Turtle Bay (United Nations), Brussels, the other Capitals of Europe, the screaming from the Arab world and just take our land from the Jordan River westward and make the land a place Israelis can live in safety and quiet serenity studying Torah, is that such a bad request of the world, to fulfill their promises and let us study Torah and live peaceably in our homeland.

Abbas and the Trail of Tears To and From the United Nations

 

Mahmoud Abbas, the self-appointed Emperor of the Palestinians, has once again come to the United Nations sobbing his people’s story of woe and demanding that the United Nations immediately provide them with recognition of statehood and simultaneously demand Israel remove every trace of their existence, remove her security and military presence everywhere beyond the Green Line. He is also demanding the United Nations send forces to protect his ‘nation’ from Israeli aggressions. It is the same old demand being recycled demanding that the General Assembly insist that the Security Council set a deadline of one year for negotiations to be completed and a treaty reached between Israel and his Palestinian Authority settling the borders, responsibilities and whatever else such that a Palestinian State be set into motion or else the United Nations enforce his maximalist demands for a settlement on Israel. Again we have Abbas demanding Israel negotiate with a gun to their heads and grant him everything he demands or make offers which include bribes in order to get any form of compromise or else face international troops forcing Israel to surrender every last demand he can think to place upon the Israelis which starts with the surrender of all lands beyond the 1949 Armistice positions demarked and set which are known as the Green Line. That begs the question as to why Abbas or any of his criminal consortium would ever accept any offer when the result of refusing to negotiate in good faith would produce the world handing you everything you could legitimately desire by simply refusing any offer. This is his attempting to internationalize the entire imbroglio hoping to have the world impose his version of a peace treaty and further place troops along the border to protect his launching of missiles into Israel all the while demanding Israel now surrender the remaining lands he claims from the (Jordan) River to the (Mediterranean) Sea. This is Mahmoud Abbas’s idea and perception of ending the occupation, but is he correct.

The catch is that International Law does not necessarily abide by public opinions as Abbas is hoping he could force some court to decide in his favor that Israel is occupying lands which he claims belong to some Arab entity simply because the majority of the dictatorial regimes which comprise the General Assembly happen to also harbor anti-Semitic, anti-Zionist and anti-Israeli feelings and would grant Abbas and gang all of Israel as if their opinions amount to anything. The problem which Israel will very likely be facing is a concerted effort between Abbas and the Arab World, at least those still standing, and the organization of anti-Western World nations in the General Assembly in supporting his demands and also not receiving assistance from the United States in the form of their veto power in the Security Council. But even without the United States veto power there are four other nations with such power, Russia, China, Britain and France. Let us look at each one individually.

 

The first obvious one to consider would be those who by their nature would benefit from Israel being coerced into their camp would be Russia and especially if it would give Putin the opportunity of rubbing it in President Barack Hussein Obama’s face that Russia upheld the side of Zionism, Israel, and most Jews against the blatant deceits and deception which make up the machination of one Mahmoud Abbas. Should Putin actually persuade Israel to enter into the Russian orbit rather than that of the United States, Russia could gain some military and other advantages from the Israeli software and other scientific advances which may end up being shared by the two nations. Still, Russia would realize that any gains would be short lived as the United States is scheduled to have elections for a new President next year and the new President and their administration being formed and operating on all cylinders by March and thus then able to grab Israel back from Russian influences. Depending on the perceived sincerity of the United States President would necessarily need be measured before leaping at any opportunity as Israel has started to wane amongst even Jewish voters and as the remaining Israel supporters are Evangelical Christians who would never support a liberal Democrat candidate and thus would not really present a positive force for the Democrats should they retain the White House and be left with no real option other than supporting the Republican Party if they were to take the White House. This would necessarily mean that Russia would have little to gain outside of Israeli gratitude and the obligation of Israel sharing information about such things as terror threats or operations to take down Russian airliners or other threats. It would not be a complete surprise to learn that such is already a working part of some agreement between Russia and Israel though such would be kept as a very well-guarded secret.

 

Following this order we must now consider China. Almost everything said above about Russia goes double for China simply to be registered as a political coup over the United States. China may have further reasons to support Israel as the two are good trading partners. The one item China offers that would be beyond any Russian offer is that China is presumably ascendant and as such could offer a more enhanced set of future relations. China also has a larger middle class which is growing and will present a viable market as long as the economic bubbles in the Chinese economic picture do not explode in their faces causing a panic by the government and thus the stifling clamps coming down from on high of the Politbureau placing the suffocating conditions eventually always resulting from central control of an economy and over the markets which operate best with the least government interference as profit is one of the greatest motivators in life. Still, China would have a considerable plus in their developing consumer market well beyond anything the Russians would be able to provide.

 

Then there is Britain without whom much of this mess would not be necessary. That aside, the British government is currently leaning right and conservative but Israel is a very contentious issue within the British Isles. Any government supporting Israel over the Arab causes could face considerable losses at the polls and thus suffer greatly at the next set of elections. The British are also very dependent on oil from Saudi Arabia as well as other sources. Should it appear that supporting Israel would necessarily have a downside with the natural losses in the polls, it is doubtful that any British help is coming against such hints. Further, Britain does not have a history of being necessarily supportive of Israel or Jewish interests in general. Perhaps it was their singular moment of conscience which produced the Balfour Declaration as she has had little additional support for the Jewish State. Adding in their history which was derived largely by their administration of the British Mandate in such a manner as to support the Arab side in virtually all items where the British were not truly neutral, and it is because of this adherence to neutrality which would in times result in upholding sides in opposition to Jewish and Zionist interests. Still, Israel may be well served to work alongside the British in other areas having mutual interests. It all comes down to this, who can best provide for the future of Great Britain and her future. That very well could be the British as only time will tell.

 

That brings us to France who is right now rather seeing Israel in a much more favorable light than a month ago. The reason for the turning of France to side with Israel more closely would be better put as identifying with the Israeli position was the horrific terror strike which murdered one-hundred-twenty-nine with another three-hundred-fifty-two injured. This horrific carnage being launched at the seat of power that Paris, France has been and always will continue to be horrified peoples from all over the world though not so in the Arab world where candies and sweet cakes were handed out and people were dancing in the streets. The French are currently sensitive to the pressures Israel has faced daily for over sixty-five years. Additionally, the French government has turned to Israel for guidance and training their security forces to provide them with the kind of things to look for and what should not draw as much attention. Will this heightened state of sensitivity last? In one way, fortunately, no. People need to feel safe in their day-to-day lives or the society would grind slowly to a halt. So, yes, currently the French people are in an elevated state of awareness and more likely to identify with Israel, but that will not last and the question is what will come after? Will there existing residual bond between the French people and government with Israel? What new policies might come of this? And lastly, will this make for another Veto vote in the Security Council.

 

The end result is that unless some major power is planning on sending troops, even a Security Council Resolution replete with Chapter Seven authorizing for the use of force would not be appetizing as the troops would be facing off with the IDF which would not be an enticing offer even for the United States or other Western power. The situation would be unappetizing for the IDF as well, but they would defend the nation of Israel even if they may rue the day that such becomes necessary. There is one item that would need clarification, exactly what is the claim Abbas represents for which he demands United Nations support and troops? What documentation can he present? The problem Mahmoud Abbas would find is that there is an occupation and it is not the one he claims exists. One would hope he does not take the idea that Israel is an occupying power too seriously as it does not hold up on further scrutiny. Yes, we realize Mahmoud Abbas has reams and reams of General Assembly and NGO and nations’ intents to recognize Palestine which are all predicated on his arrival at an agreed upon border which they can recognize. Abbas is going to find things get a bit sticky and tangled. The problem is that without an actual border supported by international law, Abbas has no standing unless Israel grants him a standing, without a delineated and defined border he has nothing to demand as he would have no defined land upon which to be protected and no state by definition as put forth by the Treaty of Westphalia and the Montevideo Convention. These set the definition for a viable and recognizable state and the Palestinians have none of the requirements. Further, by the San Remo Convention, the Treaty of Sèvres, Israel has a defined border which with the Churchill White Paper Israel’s eastern border, the one Mahmoud Abbas claims to contend as under debate, is defined very clearly as the Jordan River. United Nations General Assembly Resolution 181 is invalid and meaningless as it was rejected by the Arab league and rendered forever voided by the multi-nation assault on the State of Israel on the first day of her existence. In none of the wars Israel has endured to survive, none of them were with any nation called Palestine and if you wish a war between Palestine and Israel just keep pushing and that day will eventually come to be. Lastly, and potentially most important, there is an occupation going on in much of the lands known as Judea and Samaria and it is the so-called Palestinian population as they have no claim on the lands and are permitted to remain by the good graces and kindnesses of the Israeli government and peoples. You want a few questions you can answer which will clarify this point.

1) Who provides the water system for this area?
2) Who provides the electricity?
3) Who will be defending these areas when the Islamic State decides to cross the Jordan River?
4) Who holds treaties and international agreements which all come into play under Article 80 of the United Nations?
5) Who granted you the presumed claim to these lands?
6) Who did Jordan sign a treaty with to end any potential for a restarting of hostilities and at that time surrendered all claims to the lands Jordan refers to as the West Bank and Israel knows by the names of Judea and Samaria?
7) Before the Six Say War of 1967, what were these lands considered by every nations of the world with the exceptions of Britain and Pakistan?
8) Since the land was illegally occupied, if Jordan ever were to have granted their claims to these lands to some PLO, what makes them legally claimed then by anybody other than the liberating power?
9) You claim Israel is an Apartheid State yet there are Arabs in the Knesset and as sitting judges and even Ambassadors for Israel while you insist that any lands you hold be free of Jews and uncomfortable and soon to be just as unaccommodating for Christians, so who are the real Apartheid system?
10) Do you have any questions?

The truth is obvious and the unfortunate thing is the Palestinian Authority, Fatah, the PLO (Palestinian Liberation Organization), and any other names the leaders of the kleptocracy which demands your children be sacrificed for the better good of the society, just as the worshippers of Baal sacrificed their subject’s children to their idolatrous god for the good of society, has the world really devolved that much? Such a realization is so saddening that it robs us of worlds to describe such a situation. As Jews we had hoped that there would be no more Amalekites after the Third Reich and their successor for subjugating their society but now we know there is another daemon needing to be struck down for the evil it oozes and contaminates all it touches. The time is near when the people of Israel will have had all the murders and injured innocents and finally correct that horrific mistake made by General Moshe Dayan when he allowed the Waqf to remain in place as he mistakenly took the Waqf and the rest of the vile serpents for actual caring, loving and open-minded individual human beings, we now know better. The thing that the Israelis will ultimately find most detestable about the Palestinian Arabs is that you sacrificed your future, your children and your legitimacy for nothing as at any time you could have had your so-called state, in 1948 and any time since either from Jordan pre June 1967 and Israel afterwards had you been at all reasonable.

When children are sacrificed for the better good of the society be it with murderous suicide belts, sent with knives to stab people until stopped, used as a human berm from which to fire, be they locked on rooftops to prevent bombings, when gathered around rocket launchers as protection, simply using their corpses as your media assault on your enemy or given the plastic key to paradise, wrapped tightly in a blanket and then sent to walk across minefields in order to clear it for your troops or any other high-risk likely fatal attack simply for propaganda or to save troops at children’s lives is as if you sacrificed children to Ba’al to please an angry god in order to get rain for your crops.

 

In conclusion; I guess it is difficult to be reasonable when you do not so much desire your own state; you want our state destroyed, Never Again! You do not desire a future for your peoples, you desire an end to my people as well, Never Again! You do not desire an equal balance of sharing and living in peace because you want only death and if you cannot murder every Jew then you sacrifice your young and old alike in the pursuit of murdering every Jew, Never Again! Just in case you missed it, let me make our position clear, Never Again! Never Again! And Never Again!
