Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations Ron Prosor gave a statement accusing the European governments, with special note to Sweden’s move recognizing a state of Palestine, of failing the Jewish state and taking steps which would, in his words, “By handing them a state on a silver platter, you are rewarding unilateral actions and taking away any incentive for the Palestinians to negotiate or compromise or renounce violence.” This is an exact and valid accusation as one European parliament after another votes to show their solidarity for the formation of a nation of Palestine even knowing that such is not their national position and that the Prime Ministers or Presidents would never agree or sign such legislation had they sent it to the highest office of their nation, except for Sweden whose newly elected Prime Minister originated this entire domino effect which has followed that first domino tipping over when Sweden gave official recognition to Mahmoud Abbas and his band of rioters and terrorists. There are European parliaments voting for the formation of an Arab state without any regard even after the slaughter of four Rabbis and a Druze police officer while injuring several others inside a synagogue where morning prayers were in progress assaulting them with a firearm and then slashing them with a meat cleaver and other knives leaving a scene of horror spilled over the entirety of the chapel and hallway out into the street which apparently no European parliamentarian was concerned, influenced or even took much notice and instead decided that those inciting such acts deserve a state. Once again the Europeans are turning their backs on approximately six-million Jews of which a sizeable number are children, grandchildren and relatives of survivors from the Shoah, the Holocaust, and even the remnant of survivors themselves who once again in their lives they are to witness this betrayal.

But what does it mean to reward the Arabs with their twenty-third state and relieving them from having to reach an accord and recognize Israel’s right to exist, an end to violence and their terror war, and make a real peace. Instead the European politicians would grant Abbas and the terrorists a state free of any restrictive treaties or actual end to their efforts to destroy Israel. Instead these European elites desire to grant the Arabs a terror state and allow them to force the Israeli Defense Force and other security forces to retreat within the Green Line, the same lines which was instrumental in enticing the Arab neighbors of Israel to attempt to erase the Jewish state in a genocidal war in 1948 and again in 1967. Only miracles allowed Israel to survive and push the invading forces back from their borders and in the Six Day War of June of 1967 to liberate the remainder of the lands occupied since the 1948-9 war which Jordan was left in control of these areas which were denoted for the Jewish state by the San Remo Conference. The Six Day War also liberated all of Jerusalem and gave Israel control over the Temple Mount, the same Temple Mount that Arab throngs now riot and assault police in crazed fevered assaults claiming that any Jewish presence on the Temple Mount is an assault on the al-Aqsa Mosque which they have now decided occupies the entirety of the Temple Mount which is a very broad enlargement of the structure well beyond its awfully limiting walls.

Where it would not bother the European elites and people of power especially the European Union’s new foreign policy representative Federica Mogherini who within her first week in her new office had set achieving the reality of a state of Palestine to be her single issue of importance and the sole measure of her having succeeded at her fulfilling her position, how in all that is sacred does this even fall under her new position and purview? Neither Israel nor the contested territories are anywhere near being a part of Europe and the sole legally existing government has not requested any input from the Europeans, not any single government nor the European Union. Somehow this eruption of mindless turpitude giving reward to declared genocidal violence with the honor of statehood could prove to be the greatest miscarriage of relations on the international stage left standing unrivaled by the end of the century. These acts are unforgivable and are simply the reaction of timidity attempting to placate an all-encompassing rapacious set of jackals which sup on the blood of the innocent and the righteous delighting in the horrors of their acts of depravity simply to postpone their drawing the sustenance from their own nations heart and body for the here and now giving little concern to the more distant future. The problem is such acts of timidity are what these haters feed upon like voracious sharks in a frenzy feeding on a fresh and bleeding injured innocent. Their granting legitimacy to the Islamists who terrorize and attempt to destroy Israel will not placate their counterparts in Europe, it will be blood in the water bringing the frenzied violence that much sooner and acting as an amplifying stimulus and an invitation to strike those who have displayed their weakness by these votes of submissive timorousness. Europe will not gain any peace nor put off their coming crisis of identity which these craven votes indicate that the mutation from Christian Europe through their midpoint of socialist humanism only to fall before Islamic conquest through infiltration bringing eventual corruption and death by political correctness and overt fear and the refusal to fight to retain their culture as in Europe nothing can be considered worth fighting to protect. Just because Europe has become paralyzed into a state of apologetic apathy where nothing actually matters, especially should that matter require any stiff resistance and taking a stand for those things they pretend to rest their base beliefs on as theirs is an advanced and progressive society where violence is inexcusable unless it is used against any established norms does not mean that their timidity and haste to surrender their culture should be exported to Israel just because some European elites believe that sacrificing the Jewish state might save their precious immoral pseudo-civility. Rewarding terror in any form and anyplace at any time does nothing to preserve or protect the rest of the world from future terrorist strikes. The only way to protect one from the violence of terrorism is to fight that terror source wherever one finds it and at every place where it rears its salivating maw to simply smite that maw and knock out its teeth making it lose its bite.

If Europe desires to survive and resist the effects of Islam on the rise then join with Israel, not try to sacrifice Israel for once Israel is fighting hard for her life, that will leave much of the powers behind radical Islam to consume Europe and one thing that will be promised is that should that fateful day arrive, then Israel will live long after Europe has fallen. Israel is experiencing the revival which will prove to be the antidote to creeping Islamism, and that is the rebirth and excitement by the next generation of Israelis who are embracing their Judaism and giving it a rebirth which will provide the strength and desire which will allow Israel to resist anything which may try to extinguish Israel and, by doing so, Judaism. If Europe really desires to retain her identity then Europe needs to return to her spiritual core and that which defined her and gave her a core of belief worth defending and gave meaning to the future over the instant pleasures of today. That spark was Christianity which is a far more moral and inspiring demanding investment in a future and the will to defend that future than secular humanism, socialist redistribution, political correctness and multiculturalism which teaches to live for today for who knows whether tomorrow will even come. The latter is the recipe for extinction while the hopes of Christianity with all its faults and jealousies still evokes a future that demands that each generation bequeath the next generation their hopes and dreams over the current European societal beliefs of the day which stress the hopes and dreams of the next fifteen minutes and no vision beyond the next hook-up or social soiree or other empty pleasure which demands one take any next pleasure simply in a voided attempt to live for the moment and believe this satisfies their heart, mind and soul though all three are empty and will continue to be empty and only act when fear drives them to the brink of insanity. Europe’s pity is made all the more sorrowful by their attempts to pass judgments on Israel and make accusations because Israel actually is willing to defend herself, something which Europe has forgotten, believing that passivity will win as it is principled and thus cannot be surpassed. The news is while accusing Israel of realizing the threat to their existence is unforgivable as Europe wants to insist that Israel be as Europe and ignore the threats to their way of life as Europe wants to force her concept that nothing is worth using violence as violence is far more detestable than is anything else, even extinction. While Europe has chosen to collapse and fall before her Islamist invaders, Israel refuses to go quietly into that bleakness that is Islam without the fight of her lifetime. Europe can wink out and become Islamic Eurasia if that is what they choose but please allow Israel to choose her own path in which she will fight to remain Israel and resist the slide before Islamism.

Ceasefire Begins as Unmitigated Failure

Israel accepted the proposed ceasefire despite all indications signaling that Hamas would refuse to accept any such deal. True to their words, Israel discontinued striking targets in Hamas ruled Gaza while Hamas simply continued to rain rockets on Israeli cities, towns and kibbutzim in the dozens upon dozens. United States Secretary of State Kerry spoke from Cairo, Egypt urging both sides to accept the ceasefire and work through negotiations in order to find a permanent peace. It is likely that Secretary Kerry had extended a personal message to Prime Minister Netanyahu which contained dire threats and promises of drastic ramifications should Israel not accept the ceasefire and stand down for as long as it takes for Hamas to be bribed or otherwise persuaded into accepting such a deal. It would not be surprising if Secretary Kerry attempts to force Israel into releasing some numbers of Hamas terrorists held in Israeli prisons in order to entice Hamas to accept a limited ceasefire and possibly enter negotiations, though any likelihood that Hamas would accept anything short of a complete capitulation from Israel surrendering to every last demand including opening all the border crossings even including the ones with Egypt and ending the naval blockade allowing for the free importation of anything Hamas and the other affiliations of terrorists desired free of any inspections or limitations. Israel allowing for such an eventuality would be committing virtual suicide as Hamas, Islamic Jihad, al-Qaeda in Gaza and especially ISIS with an almost limitless amount of funds after cleaning out all of the banks in Mosul and Kirkuk as part of their offensive which captured the entire middle of Iraq and has been almost laying siege to Baghdad. Should Hamas ever realize their dream of an open sea port through which they can be supplied with the latest missiles and other arms including main battle tanks and fighter aircraft providing they have the funds and a source, the latter being the easier of the tasks, they could very quickly find that an open sea port is also capable of importing such items and people which would very quickly spell the end of Hamas as ISIS could simply dispatch sufficient manpower and armaments to take over Gaza with little actual opposition. In such a scenario Hamas would very probably face the rush of desertions and their membership largely joining up with ISIS as they would quickly prove to be the strongest horse in Gaza with Hamas’s power quickly waning and continuing in decline. Fortunately, there is no possibility that Israel would allow an open port for Gaza and Hamas by ending their blockade which has the blessings, sanctions and approval of the United Nations and most of the national maritime fleets.

The almost immediate collapse of the ceasefire initiative which forced Israel to resume her operations against Hamas and the other terrorist entities in Gaza, begs the question of what exactly is the struggle between Israel and her Arab neighbors all about. What is it that would satisfy Hamas, the Palestinian Authority, Islamic Jihad and the other jihadist terror groups and allow for peace to be established in the region? Is this simply a struggle over borders and the founding of a state for the Arab Palestinians? If that were the case there would have been such a state already as there have been numerous opportunities for the Palestinian Arabs to gain statehood. The first opportunity came between November 29, 1947 and May 15, 1948. It was on November 29, 1947 when the United Nations General Assembly passed a nonbinding resolution suggesting the formation of two states between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea. The document even included a suggested set of borders between the Arab and the Jewish states which could be formed if only the Zionists and the Arab League would accept the proposed nonbinding United Nations resolution. Well, as it turns out, the Zionist Congress after debate accepted the proposed borders in the United Nations resolution but the Arab League refused. Instead, the Arab League called for an all-out war in an effort to wipe the Zionist entity from the map and drive the accursed Jews into the sea and be done with them. This call to arms brought over a half dozen armies against Israel the very morning after the Zionist Congress was dissolved and the state of Israel declared independence. The war had a number of ceasefires and finally ended in 1949 where at the given hour the front between the collection of Arab forces and the Israeli forces became an Armistice Line which has also been referred to as the Green Line. The Arab League demanded that the line separating the armies not be referred to as an actual border and instead be considered simply an armistice boundary since if it were a recognized border, then the state of Israel would have actual borders on all sides and thus actually be a state which could not be contested. By demanding the separation line be simply an armistice boundary the Arab League claimed that this negated the existence of a Jewish State as Israel had no eastern borders thus did not meet the definitions for a state set by the Montevideo Convention which was ratified and came into effect on December 26, 1934 and has subsequently been adopted and accepted by much of the rest of the world as being universally applicable. This was the first refusal by the Arab world to accept an Arab Palestinian state living beside a Jewish Palestinian state. Before the founding of Israel and from after World War I and the signing of the San Remo Conference agreements, the word used to refer to Jews residing within the British Mandate of Palestine was Palestinians while the word or phrase used to describe the Arab residents of the British Mandate lands were Arabs or Arab Palestinians.

After the end of the War of Israeli Independence the Arabs held some of the lands which had been a part of the western British Mandate which had been promised to be the Jewish State undivided from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea as a guarantee in exchange for the Zionist Congress forfeiting any claims to the lands east of the Jordan River with an eastern border with Iraq such that the British could make good on their guarantee to form an Arab state and at the same time granting dominion over that state to the Hashemite family who had lost their lands surrounding Mecca and Medina and had also been promised some new lands in exchange for their assistance in World War I. Many historians refer to Jordan, which was the resultant nation that we know today that originally was named Transjordan by the British, as being the promised Arab Palestinian state and it is even referred to as such in the White Papers which Winston Churchill assisted in writing and having the plans approved by the necessary partners. After the Israeli War of Independence was ended, Jordan held possession of Eastern Jerusalem including the Temple Mount and Old City, Judea and Samaria, all of which lie east of the Jordan River; while Egypt held all of the Gaza Strip. Jordan attempted to annex the lands they held and renamed them the West Bank as the original names were just too Jewish for Jordanian sensitivities. This annexation attempted by Jordan received recognition from only two nations, Pakistan and Britain, and the rest of the world, including the entirety of the Arab League and its member states, all refused to recognize the Jordanian annexations. The given reason is that it was of paramount importance to force the Palestinian Arabs who lost their lands to remain homeless refugees sequestered away in camps kept separate as a weapon to threaten Israel with their Right of Return into Israel destroying its Jewish majority demographic. These Arabs became homeless by a number of differing scenarios. The majority left their homes and farms willingly at the behest of the Mufti of Jerusalem who promised that after a fast and easy conquest which would destroy the Jewish state they could return and share in the plundered treasure and return home wealthy. Another smaller group consisted of Arabs who were known to be antagonistic against the Jewish presence who could not be allowed to remain behind the front lines as leaving them in the rear of the lines opened the supply lines to sabotage and the front line troops to facing attacks from the rear making up a fifth column while facing the main Arab forces in front of them. The last group which had any measurable numbers were Arabs who it was uncertain as to their allegiance and as they posed a serious potential risk to be left behind the lines, they were given the choice of joining the Jews fighting for Israel or they were sent before the Israelis to join the other side. There were a fair number of Arabs who actually joined with the Jews fighting for Israel and others who were trusted friends who were simply permitted to remain and guard their own towns as they were also targeted by the Arab forces for destruction as they were considered to be traitors. This situation remained steady through the first week of June in 1967 and in all of the seventeen plus years that the Arab nations of Egypt and Jordan held these territories, not once was there mentions or proposals for them to be made into an independent Palestinian state as it was considered that all of the Palestinians, both Jewish and Arab, lived in or under the influence of a state. This was a long period when a Palestinian Arab state could have been established in the entirety of the areas they have since claimed and Israel would not have had any say or influence in such an instance. Still, the Arabs refused to grant their own people a state of their own and instead herded them into refugee camps kept separate from the rest of Arab society.

After the Six Day War there have been numerous offers to establish an Arab Palestinian state but all offers with no care to the generosity has ever been considered viable let alone accepted. These offers can be debated ad nauseum without gaining additional insight or gaining much information. The truth of the struggle between the Arab world and Israel, and that is the honest reference to this struggle, is that it has absolutely nothing to do with land and borders. What it does have to do with is that Israel exists as a Jewish state and the Jews are not subjects under the total rule of the Arabs. The only solution the Arabs will accept, and they state this regularly in Arabic when making speeches in Judea and Samaria (West Bank) or in Gaza as well as in Tehran, Cairo, Baghdad, Damascus, Beirut, and numerous other Arab and Muslim capital cities as well as in every other town and city throughout the Arab Muslim world, is the complete and total eradication or subjugation of the Jews. There earnest desires are to completely erase Israel from the map or if Israel continues to be on maps, it must be ruled by Arab Muslims and the Jews must accept their place as Dhimmis or suffer the sword. That is the root of the problem and the reason that the Israelis can never lose a single war as to lose means death for the vast majority of Jews in Israel as well as for many Israeli Christians, Israeli Baha’I, even for some of the Israeli Arab Muslims who have been seen to be too accepting of the Jewish rule. That is the real desire of Hamas, the real desire of Fatah, the real desire of Mahmoud Abbas, and this was the desire expressed by Arab and Muslim rulers across the world. It is for the repopulating of Israel with a number of so-called refugees such that at the next election the Jews can be voted from power and the Arabs take back their rightful, according to their idea of reality, place as sovereign over the Jews in Israel. Just to satisfy some people’s curiosity, this desire to rule over all of Israel does not end with Israel, the Arab Muslims believe that Islam should rule the entire world and that they should be the ones who lead all of Islam. Even if Europe sacrifices Israel to satiate the Arab hunger, such an act would only serve to whet their appetites for further conquest. Look to history and did the Muslim conquest end with the Holy lands or did they hold siege to Vienna. Look at the map of the world and visualize how much of the Muslim world is beyond Jerusalem and the sliver of land at the eastern edge of the Mediterranean that is Israel. Did not the soldiers of Islam reach Tours in southern France before being turned back by Charles the Hammer Martel. No, my friends, Israel is not the final step of this conquest which started in the Seventh Century and has continued ever since and will only end when one of three situations has taken place. The first is the obvious, that Islam stand supreme and has become the sole religion which every single person on planet Earth practices and there are still struggles which claim to be attempts to purify Islam and to eradicate the apostates who practice the wrong (or other) form of Islam. Secondly, Islam has experienced the impossible, a reformation. Why, you may ask, is this impossible. The reason is that according to Islamic law the Quran is the word of Allah directly given to Mohammed and not a single word, not a single letter, not a single punctuation may ever be changed in any way as the Quran is a perfect document and the only document or book that one would ever need as it proscribes every knowledge man could ever know. The third has two possible scenarios; firstly, Islam finds another planet and they all head there leaving the imperfect Earth behind, or secondly, the rest of us find another planet and leave all the Muslims behind. I’m not holding my breath waiting for any of these eventualities. I simply hope to live my life out with some semblance of peace and comfort and hopefully not ever needing to confront another as it is unlikely I could change them nor them change me, so why waste both our energies. The Arab Israeli conflict is not going to end until the rest of the world finally tires of their seemingly insatiable appetite to condemn Israel and every Israeli for their desire to breathe freely and worship their religion peacefully. I hope that is not too much for us to ask.

Is Israeli Momentary Anger Worse than Arab Systemic Violent Terrorism?

This past week has displayed all of the potentials resultant from hatreds, vengeances, brutalities and genocidal intentions all centered on Israel. The world, especially the Western media, is currently all anguished and expressing their shock and their sharing of the pain of the families of the Palestinians victims of Jewish and Israeli violence. The emphasis is centered on the horrific crime of the abduction of an Arab youth and his subsequent murder by immolation which is being bewailed as the ultimate exhibit of bestial hatred that has ever been committed by mankind in all of history. And making the victimization even worse is the fact that Israeli police were filmed using apparent unprovoked brutal force arresting his cousin during demonstrations where a half-dozen of the rioters were arrested. These two incidents are the central story being recounted every half hour at the top and bottom of the hour by the Western media. These two stories are being presented partially as proof that all the terrorism and violence that the Palestinian may inflict upon the Israelis has now been proven to be deserved. The ugly underbelly of Jewish revenge has been exposed and we now have the proof of the extent and depths of evil that are usually hidden from the world’s view. The Palestinians have finally brought to the world’s attention the validating truths for their victimhood and thus the verification of the righteousness of their cause.

The previous actions over the past three weeks have all faded down the sinkhole of lost memory, being shoved from our view as inconsequential events lost due to their mendacity and normalcy. They have been replaced with the sensational stories of Israeli perpetrated violence which makes news as it is outside the unusual story and so unexpected but also because it validates the desire to excuse the violent and hateful actions of the Palestinians as understandable and worthy of our forgiveness. Forget the approaching two-hundred rockets and mortars fired at Israeli towns and kibbutzim. Forget the newly unemployed workers from the two destroyed factories just outside Sderot where they were struck by Hamas rockets and burned to the ground, a paint and a plastics manufactory. Never mind the house struck in the middle of the night where five children and their parents lived. And definitely forget the originating act of abducting three Israeli Yeshiva students on their way home from classes and their subsequent murder. All of these and the continuous rioting over the last week are excusable as a few Israelis lost their normal restraint and reacted violently to these provocations. Palestinians assaulting, murdering or committing destructive violence is a ‘dog bites man’ story while Israelis reacting with similar violence is a ‘postal worker bites dog’ story and thus worthy of repeated coverage until a more tantalizing story breaks. The three dead Israeli teens have had their ten seconds of coverage and now the one dead Palestinian will be given coverage ad-nauseum.

Such is always the case as can be easily proven. How many remember the murders in Brussels just a number of weeks back which resulted in the arrest of a French national who had committed these senseless murders after returning from fighting with the rebels in Syria. How about the Toulouse, France murders of a Rabbi and three children at a Jewish School. Remember the suicide bomber at the Burgas, Bulgaria airport which exploded next to a tour bus hired by a group of Israeli tourists. Or have you heard any coverage about the man who was assaulted in Malmö, Sweden, on Sunday and almost killed for the sole crime of hanging an Israeli flag in his window? Miss or forget most of these? Not to worry, that simply makes you normal as most news we feel is commonplace we simply file under what else is new and move on until something strikes us that is out of the ordinary, now that’s a story. That is why whenever Israelis reach their breaking point and react violently it makes sensational news, because it is the exception and not the norm. That does not make it right or forgivable and the Israeli government quickly sought those responsible for this heinous crime and they have been arrested and will face trial for their crimes. Meanwhile, the fact that the Hamas perpetrators of the abduction and murder of the three Israeli youths are known but thus far have not been arrested has disappeared from the news cycle, why? They are suspected of having fled either into areas under Palestinian Authority security and governance or made it into Gaza, but either way the Arab security and law enforcement are not going to turn them over or arrest them for any meaningful punishment.

There is no excuse for any of the violence and all those who resort to violence must be held equal before the law. And apart from the news coverage which makes it appear that Israelis who act violently are given a pass and only Palestinian violence is condemned, the truth is quite different. The Israelis who were responsible for the death of a Palestinian youth and others who may or may not have had supportive rolls are currently arrested, being interrogated and will face trials for their complicity in their heinous crime. The Palestinian Hamas members who committed an at least similar heinous crime have yet to be discovered despite their names and pictures being identified and arrest warrants placed by Israeli authorities but yet are being protected by Palestinian officials and society. Whether out of fear of retribution if they should aid in the arrest of the Hamas operatives or because they support those who victimize Jews, the refusal to turn over those who abducted and murdered three innocent boys is inexcusable. There lies the difference. Israeli violence is not excused or forgiven or accepted as acceptable, Israelis who commit violence are arrested, tried and imprisoned and that will be born out as time proceeds with the case of those who murdered an innocent Palestinian youth. The Palestinian lionize and celebrate those who murder Israeli civilians naming streets, parks, summer camps, sports arenas, and schools after them. They teach of these acts of terror as martyrdom actions and teach their children to aspire to perform atrocities that may be their equal. The Palestinians teach, encourage and celebrate violence while Israelis arrest and put on trial and condemn those from amongst them who commit acts of violence or hatreds. That is the difference between the two societies and what makes Israeli acts of violence newsworthy while Palestinian violence is dismissed as simply another act we have come to expect and unfortunately accept. It is sad that a Palestinian life is breaking news and an Israelis life is not worthy of note.
