Time to Claim that which Belongs to the Israelites

There is a strange thing which happens to people should they read the Old Testament with special attention initially to the first six books, the Five Books of Moses, or Torah, the scroll which is read from in Synagogues the world over during Saturday morning services and other days and holidays, and the first book of the remainder of the Jewish Bible, Joshua, sometimes thought of as the Sixth Book of Moses as the style of writing is so similar to those of Torah. Reading about the Prophets, Judges, Kings, Psalms and Proverbs, there are names of places. The realizations go even deeper should one study these writings and reference a map of ancient Israel so that the names of the locations can be located. Some of the places have identical names today and some have been changed, often to disguise their Israelite (Jewish) history and heritage. Temple Mount, Jerusalem, Hevron, Shechem, Jericho, Beersheba, all the precious tombs and the lands in which they lived, sanctuary cities and all are written about. One will read of the Tribes of Israel (see map below) which settles on both, yes, both sides of the Jordan River. The tribes northern border was the Litani River which lies in the center of modern Lebanon and was presumably the demarcation south of which the United Nations promised to prevent Hezballah from setting up as part of the peace agreement of the last Lebanon conflict. Promises to Israel appear to be the least kept of words between men as time and again any rumbling or threats from terrorists and the world runs frightened leaving Israel to face these threats without any trust in worldly promises. Yet, for reasons beyond all reason and logic, the Israeli government will always trust the promises of the world time and again despite every broken promise of the past; always ready to believe this time it will be different, despite all evidence to the contrary. Perhaps it is a character fault of trusting and believing in the best of people and nations despite all evidence to the contrary.

Eretz Yisroel from back in the time immediately after Exodus and before the additional conquest by King David and King Solomon with the original division of the lands between the Tribes covering both sides of the Jordan River. The Israelis and Jews in general could attempt to demand that Eretz Yisroel, the Land of Israel be made whole as was First Apportioned by Hashem.

The problem is Israel has a history of trusting in the fairness and asking for the approval and constantly waiting for such approvals. It started long before Israel became a nation. We can start a short distance and work back. It was November 29, 1947 with the vote in the United Nations which suggested that when any nation would be made between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea, it be divided between and Arab and a Jewish nation. This plan was made by the General Assembly which meant that should either side refuse the resolution the entirety was null and void. The Arab League immediately refused the resolution ending the patrician plan thus allowing for Israel to be established on all the land. When the fateful day arrived on My 15, 1948, the entirety of six Arab armies invaded at the break of dawn, or soon thereafter, and attempted to extinguish the nascent state and murder every Jew in a genocidal massacre. They failed in this endeavor but did manage to occupy Gaza and much of Judea and Samaria, which Jordan renamed West Bank to erase its Jewish root names, and held these lands illegally for the next nineteen years until the June 1967 Six Day War when Israel liberated these lands. But even this vote by the United Nations was far from the beginning, so let us proceed back further.

Right after World War I ended there was a move in Europe to return the lands to the original indigenous peoples where such existed. This was what led to the British making the Balfour Declaration in 1917 which promised that the British would take it upon themselves to establish a Jewish homeland in the Middle East in the lands which had been ancient Israel. At the San Remo Conference the Allied powers met and drafted a paper in which they guaranteed and formalized their aims to establish a Jewish state and drafted the Balfour Declaration completely intact in a paper referred to by the name of that conference, the San Remo Conference. This paper was signed by all the Allied States other than the United States, Great Britain, France, Italy, Russia and Japan. In the Treaty of Sèvres, signed on August 10, 1920, which formalized the San Remo Conference and also established the Mandate Systems which establish the British Mandate as well as the entire set of Mandates from which the Sykes-Picot Treaty, set up the remainder of the Middle East and North Africa countries which were to be martialed initially by the European Allies and Russia until self-government could be established. The British Mandate was meant to establish the Jewish State but as the British had promised the Hashemite Dynasty a nation; so they met with the Zionist Congress and petitioned them to accept a state solely on the west of the Jordan River while surrendering their claims to any lands east of the Jordan River so that the British could establish an Arab State for Palestinian Arabs under the Hashemite Dynasty setting the Hashemites as the monarchy leaving the western parts to be used for the Arab State (see map above). The Zionist Congress, feeling powerless and desiring to not anger the British who were one of the most powerful of nations at that time, agreed to accept a severely truncated Israel. Transjordan, later to become Jordan, was finally established formally in 1946, two years ahead of Israel. But it goes back even further.

The history of the Jews and Israel, since the conquest by the Greek Empire of Alexander the Great and then the Roman Empire and the two banishments after temporarily successful wars throwing off Roman rule briefly only to fall to Roman legions sent to teach the upstart Judeans (Jews) a lesson that Rome would not tolerate such revolts, has been a series of pogroms, murderous riots, banishments, cleansings and finally the Shoah, the Holocaust. The fact that this happened twice was proof that they deserved the Biblical description of being a stiff necked people. Unfortunately, these were pretty much the last times the Jews were truly a stiff necked people and instead became, over the intervening approximately twenty centuries, Jews having anything but stiff necks by any stretch of the imagination. If anything, they have proven to be amongst the most malleable of all peoples. They left nations at a simple behest leaving their businesses and often properties and wealth behind, and kept to their own portions of cities, often a Jewish ghetto. They feared the Church, Mosque, Priests, Imams, Kings, Queens, Caliphs, Barons, Emperors, Czars, Kaisers, Mahārājas, Padishahs, Rajas and all other titled and authorities constantly fearing pogroms, cleansings, inquisitions, purifications, jihads and any edict which might make them targets. What was sad is that had the majority of Jews worldwide ever chosen to return to their ancient homelands they might have been capable of turning realities into independence or at the least making of their homelands a partitioned semiautonomous region where they could have lived in relative peace. All it would have taken would have been faith in Hashem and their own worth, but instead the Jews continued to live at the tolerance and best intentions of others. Such has been the history and thus is the current leadership.

There is a question which is approaching by one means or another as the Arabs are restless and angered by their leadership under the Palestinian Authority and a sizeable majority are ready to elect Hamas into leadership across their towns, cities and other local governance. The majority of Palestinian Arabs reside in areas where they elect their local leaders and in what is misnamed the West Bank, they reside in an autonomous region where they elect their leaders. Their last election for President was held in 2005 where Mahmoud Abbas was elected. Since then he has feared standing for reelection and thus has found reason after reason to cancel elections. The real reason is he is afraid of losing power and being replaced by Hamas. This might lead to his being charged for corruption and theft of funds and standing trial under Hamas judges who would have him killed just as soon as they were sure they had found every dollar and Euro he has stolen and stashed in Swiss and other banks. Whatever such a future might hold, Abbas will do all he is able to avoid finding out what exactly would happen. Still, Israel needs to be prepared for a Hamas takeover by one means or another in the near future. Should Hamas take control of Judea and Samaria, Israel will be forced to confront a situation where Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Ben Gurion International Airport and the heart of Israel surrounding these areas and reaching as far north as Netanya would rapidly become uninhabitable due to rocket attacks carried out by Hamas as soon as they would be capable of building or importing even the most rudimentary of rockets (see map below). Such a situation would be untenable at best and an unimaginable disaster should such a situation arise. With Hamas ruling the majority of the localities and potentially, should Abbas allow elections to be held at any time, running the entire show; Israel would need to come to a decision immediately and set forth a strong and unambiguous situational criteria. Israel would have to rule that a single rocket fired from the Arab areas within Judea and Samaria landing anywhere within any areas within the Green Line or any of the neighborhoods outside of Arab autonomous regions that Israel would immediately claim and annex all the lands other than Gaza between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea and all Arabs within the autonomous regions would be pushed outside of the State of Israel and its true borders under International Law. Simple statement and placing the IDF on alert should provide the reality check required as proof of the real intentions. Unfortunately, such a declaration would not likely be coming as the government would be worried over what the Americans might say or even think, what the Europeans and European Union would say, what Russia, China and anybody else might believe of them, especially if it was unkind, and finally they would be overly concerned what the Arab and Muslim world would do and react to their displacing even a single Arab from their home. Simply stated, they would need to sample every nation, international body, the United Nations, European Union, and possibly see what Viking rune stones might say in predicting the Scandinavian nations’ reactions. Unfortunately, the map says it all.

The time is rapidly approaching when Israel will be facing a choice, take all the land which is legally ours and grant the Arabs fair market share for their properties, except for those in governance as they have stolen sufficient to provide for themselves for a long period, and place them and the prisoners outside Israeli borders. This may require military force just as was used to destroy Jewish communities in Gaza and areas of Judea and Samaria to please United States President George W. Bush, his Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, the State Department and every other soul on the planet who supported the Gaza sacrifice which turned so disastrous that one hopes at least one lesson may have been learned. If the IDF can be utilized to beat down Jews and destroy their neighborhoods, livelihoods, businesses, communities and all else which had any real, intrinsic or emotional value, then Israel should sure as anything be capable of using at least similar force in extending the borders to their Internationally Legal limits along the Jordan River and making these lands safe for all Israelis of all religions. Families who have been completely free of any ties to terror and desire to remain as legal alien residents and obey Israeli laws and be aware that should any member of their family commit or support any terrorist activity, they will lose everything faster than they can protest the actions and be sent beyond the border without any remunerations for lost property et al. The world is steadily accelerating in their embracing of anti-Semitism and this has been steadily made evident by the adoptions of the BDS movement and the number of governments who refuse to relocate their embassies from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, the true Israeli Capital City. No other nation is made to suffer the refusal of the world to accept their declaration of a Capital City other than Israel and Jerusalem. We recognize that the constant and incessant griping, sniping, threatening, and badgering of government officials by Arab Palestinian proponents sooner or later wear down many a government official which eventually snowballs into accepting their demand if only to have some quiet as the Jews won’t complain, they’re civil and meek like good Jews. Perhaps it is time to place some Israelites into the highest positions in our political establishment and finally stand up for ourselves and tell the world it is our turn to set some rules. Do we need to actually state these rules? We hope not as all Israel should demand and actuate upon are the exact things promised us since 1917, the lands of our ancestors, all of them. Read our history, read our Torah and Joshua and the rest of our Bible and become educated. We could demand what is actually Greater Israel which is defined as the lands taken at the height of Israelite power under King David and King Solomon (see map below). There is a lot to be stated about this area.

Eretz Yisroel as formed after the conquests by the Kingdoms of King David and King Solomon; both of whom allowed the Principalities of Edom, Moab and Ammon to be semi-autonomous as long as they and their armies supported Eretz Yisroel

We never did quite make it from the Euphrates to the Nile, but we did reach the Euphrates. Further, were Israel granted these lands, then there would be little left of the Syria Civil War as Israel would be dividing the warring parties and should the Islamic State insist on striking Israel, there would no longer be any need for any world hand wringing as all that would need be done would become done. Israel has attempted to please the world and the world cannot be pleased. Israel has attempted to live by the world’s rules but those rules claim that Israel never be permitted to win. Even when we have won and liberated our own lands the world demands we give away those very lands after we already returned an area of land which vastly outsizes our actual borders under International Law. We are talking of the Sinai Peninsula and our sitting on the eastern banks of the Suez Canal. The time for deference is rapidly coming to a close if it has not already come and gone and Israeli leaders are simply being too timid. Excess of timidity is as much as sin as being overly boastful. Perhaps the time is now to declare our annexation of all that is ours and allow the chips to fall where they may. We surrendered Gaza and got a fanatical den of annihilative monsters desiring our death over their own lives and the world did not budge from their demands that Israel and her people commit suicide. Israelis have had enough with the demands that Israel surrender to every tin pot demanding their pound of flesh. We are done with it or honestly should be. The Israeli leaders may still bend over backwards, but the people have reached the end of their rope and the politicians had best heed the growing growling as that growl is meant for them if they do not point it in a healthier direction. When even one of the major parties in the United States removes backing for the Two State Solution and in turn the Oslo Accords from their platform, it is time that Israel take that dead issue off our table as well. Now is the time and not waiting for Hamas to become further entrenched in Judea and Samaria and join the Islamic State bringing that misery to our doorsteps. It will be best to end all misery before it multiplies tenfold and that means now. Time is here for a new breed of leadership, one that will fight for the people and end the Oslo Charade which leads only to self-annihilation because suicide is not a viable solution.

One Unsafe Concept and One Ineligible to Lead

We have two great threats from within which we have yet to discuss. These are on top of the elite group of ex-military and security leaders who are dead set on surrendering our natural and ancient homelands of Judea and Samaria without even getting a thank you from the Arabs simply in the hope that they will be viewed with great honor and be permitted to travel Europe safely. They are flawed in their proffered solution to a problem that needs not their faux-expertise and equally wrong that the Europeans will forgive their military service and now love them. To Europe they are still war criminals and they would still be tried should they disembark and walk on sacred European soil; may it give forth as they give unto Israel, bitter yields. But there are other dangers; so shall we end this tribute to last week’s disasters and move to this week’s and the other long standing.

The long standing is the easier and more simple but still a threat in the wings. It has long been understood by the majority of Israelis outside Tel Aviv that the Labor party, despite its allure, poses a threat Israel dare not take. The threat is their concept of what is an acceptable risk for peace. Their current leader and poseur of greatness of which we can only allow his image to exist in his mind as should he ever make good on his dreams we would all get to live his nightmare. We refer to Yitzhak “Bougie” Herzog, the current leader of the Labor Party who has shown his willingness to go to any extreme in the hope to realize his dream of being Prime Minister and making the peace that has eluded all before him. His real ambition is to live up to his pedigree with his family tree including almost innumerable greats including but not limited to President Chaim Herzog and Rabbi Yitzhak HaLevi Herzog, Israel’s first Chief Rabbi; Yaacov Herzog served in the Haganah and was a political adviser to David Ben-Gurion; and as an in-law, Abba Eban. Bougie is going to need more than his cute moniker to measure up to the towering greats who preceded him. The question as to what he might do if he should ever be Prime Minister has now been answered.

It had become public knowledge that before the past election that in anticipation of his being Prime Minister, Labor Party and ‘Zionist Union’ co-head, Yitzhak Herzog took it upon himself to negotiate, if that is the right word, a letter of intent, we might say surrender, with Mahmoud Abbas in which they presumably reached an accord on the principles for peace. In this agreement Israel was to surrender 96% of Judea and Samaria and surrender an area equal to the last 4% from within the Green Line, though which land was left undetermined, surrender half of Jerusalem yet somehow Israel would retain the Western Wall and plaza known as the Kotel while surrendering the Temple Mount as an international zone and remainder of the old city, while Jerusalem would remain under a single governance. How Jews were to make their way across Palestinian controlled lands to visit the Kotel was also not made evident, perhaps helicopter tours where they rappelled in or some such method, we do not know. Further there would be some undetermined number of ‘Arab refugees’ permitted to return into Israel to be reacquainted with their presumed lost family heritage and properties. This too was left in the air. The one thing probably not left in the air but simply refused was any recognition of Israel as the home of the Jewish People. That was still probably beyond what Mahmoud Abbas could grant even in this form of a make believe dream of Yitzhak’s grand dream. As we all can now rejoice, Yitzhak Herzog and the ‘Zionist Union’ did not get to form a ruling coalition and we were literally saved from these evil designs. The one other great saving grace Israel received from these revelations is we now know beyond any shadow of doubt that the Labor Party, its figment of imagination and misnomer of ‘Zionist Union’ (which is neither Zionist nor Union as Tzipi Livni’s party is now a party of one, or maybe two) can never be permitted to be even included in a unity coalition even if such would appear to be to the advantage of the state as their designs on fame and fortune would endanger the nations as even with the slightest sliver of power they would sell out Israel for the ability to claim there was now peace.

As in the words made famous over two centuries ago when Patrick Henry made his impassioned plea to the Virginia House of Burgess imploring them to join and sign the Declaration of Independence he entreated them, “Gentlemen may cry, Peace, Peace– but there is no peace.” The same now applies in Israel and we too need to make and apply as our answer our own Declaration of Independence. This declaration must include the liberation of our lands, all of our lands; especially the lands of Judea and Samaria from which the idolaters who worship death must be driven out as were the Canaanites who too worshiped death in their sacrifices to Ba’al. This is our sacred duty and we can do it now while things are not so desperate or we can make a situation which will demand of us to take the lands as rockets rain down upon Tel Aviv and the heartland of our Israel because we foolishly gave the Judean Hills overlooking the midsection of our nation allowing the enemy to press their boot upon our necks and attempt to choke the life out of our country. There is no manner of safeguard which can be applied which would save the thin neck that surrounds Tel Aviv once we allow the Arabs free will upon the highlands overlooking this densely populated area. There was a reason all our brothers and sisters who led us in our biblical fights for survival always dragged the battles into the hills of Judea and Samaria as we held those highlands and forcing them to attack from below gave us the advantage we needed. Our enemies relied on cavalry and chariots both of which lose their advantage when fighting uphill in rough terrain. Now we will give those same hills to an enemy making us the ones who now have the chariots known as tanks having to climb the hills from below allowing making them easy targets for anti-tank missiles. The very missiles which Iran will flood the Arab areas with as soon as the IDF leaves and they have their terror state. Iran will arm them with rockets, mortars with which to initiate the war at their time of choosing and also provide the anti-tank armaments and all the tools of war including mines to prevent easy approach and to set traps for men and machine alike. That is the reality if we ever give the Arabs their desired lands and we will pay the price for such foolishness. There is but one solution and the world may hate us for taking our land but at least our children will be safe and the world cannot hate us twice as much as hate is hate. They all know that all the land is our land legally which is why there has never been a case brought in the international courts. The only place where the land is not ours is in the court of foreign opinions and they do not reside here and will never face the barrage of rockets they salivate waiting to force us into the compromise which would seal our doom, but we can simply resume our proper rule over our lands and the Arabs residing there can either accept reality or leave, and if necessary, as they attack we can arrest them and declare them as foreign agents expelling them once and for all. Those who wish to remain peaceful can even be allowed citizenship after they prove their knowledge of our historical right to the lands and willingly sign a pledge of allegiance to the State of Israel and homeland of the Jewish People and should they ever break that pledge we can once again invite them to leave and never return. We will not need to force anybody from their homes, only those who are known aggressors who have already proven they refuse to recognize our legitimacy would be forced to leave. The rest would choose themselves and if they prefer being compensated for their lands and property, then so be it, it would be money well spent. Yes, we would pay them in dollars as the shekel is not worth much in Syria or the rest of the lands where they would be at home.

Our other threat which appears to be gaining some official recognition and even acceptance is the idea of a manmade port attached to Gaza by a causeway where ships can come and load and unload and the wares coming into Gaza be checked and cleared before being sent by truck into Gaza and where these same trucks can bring their exports for loading for transport to their destinations. How this is different other than location from the current system of using the port at Ashdod escapes our sense of reason (picture of port below). The crazed idea is to spend over a billion shekels, likely closer to five-billion shekels, to build an Island and port facilities some distance, presumably safe distance, out into the Mediterranean Sea from Gaza and connect it to Hamas held Gaza, the Hamas held part is very important, by a multi-lane two way causeway where trucks would transport goods both into and out of Gaza allowing for presumably easier, more efficient and more independent transference of goods in both directions. Since there would also presumably be an agreement that all incoming and outgoing cargo would still be checked and approved by Israeli security inspectors, it completely escapes us as to how this is any different than the current system where trucks take whatever cargo need go in either direction to Ashdod where the port there, a very capable and already functioning port, and inspections are carried out by Israeli security inspectors. But we do see one vital difference; so please follow with us below.

Port of Ashdod

Port of Ashdod

This port island which would be built within Israeli territorial waters, meaning under three or at most generous five miles, would still be well within artillery range and even within guided rocket fired anti-tank missiles like the Kornet missile which was fired at a school bus from Gaza in Israel injuring the driver and murdering the lone young student still on the bus. The bus had just discharged the remaining students with the one exception remaining onboard so he could visit his grandmother further in Israel and was taking the bus there (picture of remains of the bus below). Expecting that the inspectors, in consideration of their safety, would be located on the manmade island where the trucks would be loaded and unloaded and this would be most convenient to do along the piers as the goods are unloaded and prepared for loading. There would be stationed IDF troops, probably a platoon or maybe two when suspicions were high, guarding the entry to the port island giving each truck a quick inspection before allowing it access to the port itself. Needless to point out that securing this new facility would in and of itself be an expensive endeavor as there would also likely be some naval support made readily available in case of an incident as any troops could be attacked by a joint operation of engagement by rocket fire from Gaza while a number of trucks crash any barricades and deploy terrorist troops in an attack to oust the Israeli inspectors and IDF troops taking over the facility with deadly results.

After such an attack is the probability that it would be timed in order to unload contraband known to be on a ship the Iranians sent under a false flag. The unloading and making way back into Gaza with any such shipment of contraband would be completed before Israeli forces could retake the port, another expensive in cost and lost soldiers and inspectors lives as Hamas would not be taking too many prisoners of the IDF troops, just the inspectors would serve their purposes. The entire idea of such a port is a nightmare for security services and design. The port for security would need a cement wall between it and Gaza in order to prevent direct fire from striking the port facilities, personnel or ships docking there. Troops would need to be stationed in blockhouses to keep them safe from snipers and allow them to watch the coast of Gaza for any threats and have sufficient firepower to neutralize any threat. The system used on the land side of Gaza with cameras and remote fired weaponry, often fifty-cal. machine guns, have proven effective and safer for personnel but also an added expense. These blockhouses would also prove to be prime targets for Hamas and Islamic Jihad or others and repair and replacement would also prove prohibitively expensive. The possibility that tanks and heavy artillery or other heavy weapons and larger rocket motors or guidance systems could be smuggled in either well hidden within cargo or through raids, such as described above, provides another threat which would need be considered and weighed when considering such folly. No matter how one describes this venture and despite any designs or other precautions, the truth is this port would end up in the hands of Hamas and there is no humanly way of securing this facility from eventual, and likely fairly quickly, falling into Hamas’s hands and remaining under their control as it simply was realized that it was too risky and otherwise adverse to continue to retake and defend the indefensible.

The expense to build the facility, providing it did not get constantly attacked and workers killed by snipers making even building it next to impossible; after erecting it and attempting to defend it, we would eventually face an even more expensive reality, destroying it and re-sinking the island. The destruction would generate great amounts of additional ire and the European Union and who knows who else would call for turning the port over to Hamas as having Israeli control of the new Gaza port facility would be an aberration unacceptable to Israel’s uncountable enemies. The United Nations General Assembly would from day one be hearing announcements from Mahmoud Abbas, Turkey, Iran, Europeans and who knows how many others calling for the port to be released to Hamas and then the sea embargo would be resumed and denounced anew with greater fervor. Israel would be placed in a lose-lose situation after great expense which even if there were international backers who promised to assist in the cost, no funds would ever see their way into Israeli hands; so we would pay for the entire fiasco.

The end result would be Hamas having a well built and very modern and functioning port facility at which Iranian cargo ships could freely unload one after another filled in their bellies with rockets, missiles, potentially aircraft and who knows what else. We could expect Iranian warships to be docked there and patrolling what would now be Gazan and Hamas international waterways. Once Gaza has the port, there would be no way of preventing Iran from assisting in rebuilding the international airport which could be opened for air resupply from Iran and who knows where else. There would soon be squadrons of fighter jets and trained Hamas and Islamic Jihad pilots to fly them and Gaza would be sitting at the United Nations recognized now as its own nation and there would be nothing Israel could do to prevent these scenarios from playing out within a year or two of having built and provided Hamas, Islamic Jihad and the rest a port which would very likely provide an entry point to the Islamic State to enter and prepare attacks upon Israel. What would enter Gaza from the sea and soon thereafter from the air would facilitate their claim to be a nation and the Europeans would apologize after they supported such with their votes in the United Nations and their eagerness to allow Gaza to open embassies in their capitals so they could be amongst the first to recognize this glorious terror state. Europe has seldom if ever missed an opportunity to place Israel at further risk if they thought it would divert a single terrorist from attacking them. For the Europeans they see Israel as their shield meant solely to absorb the punishment of any Islamic anger just to keep them believing they are safer. Their folly knows no bounds and this port would only serve as yet another idea which can only end poorly. How about we skip this one, OK?

Where We Are and Where it All Came From

The world is in a frightful state, and we do mean frightful as in scare the living daylights out of you. Merkel invited the civilizational Jihad to set up home in the heart of Europe and they moved in just about everywhere. The United States is having their quadrennial Presidential elections which are more reminiscent of elections for tenth grade presidential elections. Does the United States, with their three hundred million citizens and who knows how many illegals (hey, if they vote why not let them run too) really want us to believe that Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, Ted Cruz and Donald Trump are the best they’ve got to offer? Puleeze! Then there is the fact that their media has not seen fit, from any political angle, to report that there are tens if not hundreds of thousands of OTM (other than Mexican) refugees being brought in from across the southern border as well as by boat and plane? What gives? Is this a bipartisan program with the tacit approval from the top echelon from both parties? If that proves true then the people have a right to be furious with the establishment. Perhaps it really is a case of good party-bad party where there really is no difference except in their campaigns of lies. Could it really be the fact that three of the four candidates for President are outside of the party boss’s iron-fisted control that has everybody’s nickers in a bunch? And what gives with Israel. Yes we have the constant demand for Israel to commit suicide and then the world not understanding why they refuse, that is an understandable crisis which has real depth and meaning. That is not the worst thing the media has to report about. They have a soldier up on charges of manslaughter for shooting a terrorist which is a combatant out of uniform. Back not so long ago in our day that was called a spy and could arrant being shot on sight, things have changed. We understand and get it, Israel is not permitted to shoot their enemies, they have to love them and give them land and everything until they can eradicate the Jews in Israel, we have seen this game before throughout our three thousand year plus history. We even just referred to it in our Seder when we read, “In every generation there is one that rises up against us.” The problem is in this generation there is a running contest on who can be the most devious of those rising up against us. I can handle our enemies if it comes to that but our friends, and we probably should write that as “friends”, those there is the problem that we aren’t supposed to shoot our friends quite yet. And on the political horizon we have reports of scandals which include, and we are not joking here, these were real scandals in our media; the Netanyahu’s eat a lot of ice cream; Sarah Netanyahu yelled at a former worker who was subsequently fired for poor performance, how dare she; the Prime Minister demanded a bed on the plane taking him on a twelve hour flight overnight where he was to give a speech the morning of his arrival before the United nations, the bed got deeper coverage and more commentary than his speech; the Netanyahu’s rescue dog nipped at people who were warned it was still nervous and temperamental yet they approached and stuck out their hands, surprise; then there are reports that the Prime Minister refuses to kiss the ring of United States President Obama, well, finally some real news, perhaps we should take this and run with it.

Many of the above stories had far more in depth coverage in Europe than the final actual news story and they were regarded as scandalous. Then there are the reports from the European media which make claims against the Israeli government or charge the IDF (Israeli Defense Force) with shocking use of violence against demonstrators throwing Molotov cocktails at them and these reports inevitable quote “Israeli NGO’s” as their source as if that makes it more credible. What they are not reporting is that these Israeli NGO’s get most if not all of their funding from the European Union (EU), European governments, European NGO’s and other foreign individuals and next to or actually nothing from the Israeli government or people. These are all extreme leftist organization who agree with the Europeans and are pushing for an Israel with an Arab Muslim majority as they demand Israel absorb five to eight million Arab refugees and they claim because Israel is a democracy that with the Muslims ruling the nation there will be freedom of religion and the treatment of the Jews will remain exactly as it is now. We would like to make a challenge to the members of these groups for them to spend a weekend, just three days, in Gaza City wearing a Kippot, a Yamaka. Then they can come tell us how things will not change. The only condition is that they do this unannounced and completely without any NGO protection. We feel sure that nobody would get harmed because it would never happen for two reasons, they would never be caught dead wearing a Kippot and they would never do anything anywhere near so suicidal.

I would like to make a few points about the Jews in Israel and Israel in general. First and foremost, we reached an agreement after World War I with the British government which held the control for creating a Jewish State in the British Mandate. We believed the British, silly us, when we agreed to allow for 78% of the Mandate lands to be used for an Arab Palestinian State east of the Jordan River in exchange for guarantees that the lands west of the Jordan River would be used solely for the Jewish State. Would it now be too much to ask that this deal be honored? Israel has no designs on lands beyond those promised us. Proof was our returning of the entirety of the Sinai Peninsula to Egypt when we made peace. Further, the world need remember that the lands of Judea and Samaria, renamed by Jordan as West Bank, was occupied land and that once the Arab League refused the offer from the United Nations General Assembly in Resolution 181 which was a suggested solution, the entire resolution became void and invalid as it required both sides to accept the offer and only the Zionists who were to found Israel accepted. The Zionist acceptance did not bind them to Resolution 181 as the Arab League refusal followed by their general declaration of a genocidal war where half a dozen Arab states invaded Israel the morning of May 15, 1948, the first day of Israel’s existence, but that the areas which later were always referred to as Gaza and West Bank were actually Israeli land occupied by Egypt and Jordan for almost twenty years. Further, the Jews are the indigenous peoples returning to their ancestral home and the Arabs are the colonial power who took the lands from the remains of the Roman Empire which were another occupying power. Israel had faced occupation almost constantly since their fall to the Babylonians but has had the remnants of their people remaining in the land the entirety of our three thousand plus year history in the land of Eretz Yisroel. The Arabs did not arrive in these lands until after the year 600 AD which was a mere two thousand years after the establishment of Eretz Yisroel. As far as the use of the name Palestinian, the Jews were the original Palestinians as can be verified by simply reading any of the British reports from World War I and even before. There was even a Palestinian Brigade in both world wars which was comprised of almost exclusively Jews from the area called Palestine since the time of the Romans. The Philistines were never called Palestinians and were actually a Greek colony which resided along the norther coastal regions of the Sinai and even into what is known today as Gaza and their civilization collapsed and was dispersed some twenty-five hundred years ago and they were never heard from again. The Romans attempted to resurrect their name but it lost quite a lot of the identity in their translation which referred to the area as Syria Palaestina which was a Roman province between 135 and about 390, during the same period when much of the Jewish population was dispersed across the Roman Empire. This was the main reason that Jews were found in lands all across the globe, they were dispersed by the Romans and some fled even further to escape the cruelties of Roman decrees meant to eliminate the Israelites, the Hebrews. Rome had a set of procedures for eliminating peoples which worked so well that one civilization is remembered because of their succumbing to the Roman treatment for erasing a peoples, they were the Carthaginians. Hannibal was probably one of the most famous of the Carthaginians. The Jews survived due to their secret weapons, contained in Torah, Hashem’s laws meant for the Hebrews to live by and thus make them a peoples who, even when most assimilated, have this core identity and once they become the accursed and are either forced into exile or attempted to be extinguished, at least once every generation by the one who rises up to oppress and kill us, they have their Torah to fall back upon and reestablish their peoplehood.

Israel desires no lands beyond the Jordan or outside the lands promised us by the League of Nations, the British Mandate, the White Papers, Article 80 of the UN Charter or any other agreement through the years. Then there is the Jewish People. Judaism is a different religion than most others as it is also a ruling document for the Jews when they reside in the Promised Lands, those lands west of the Jordan River to the Mediterranean. It is meant for no one else. We do not desire to convert anybody nor conquer lands which are not ours to claim. This is the land of Hashem for which we are assigned to care for and it will care for us for as long as we are faithful and follow the laws of Hashem given in Torah. When we follow the law we will receive the rains which are so essential if one is to survive long here in our lands. Simply ask the elders who have lived here since before the Zionist return. They will tell of a land which refused to give up her bounty. Read the accounts from Sam Clemens (Mark Twain) from his essay Travels in the Holy Lands and see his description of a land forsaken. The records of the many empires, the Babylonians, Egyptians, Persians, Assyrians, Greeks, Romans, Caliphate, Seleucids, Ottomans, British or any others who possessed these lands. Even the Canaanites did not get the full production of these lands until Abraham dug wells and every well he dug produced prodigious amounts of water and he left them for all to use as he was a generous and righteous man. We do not desire to make the world Jewish, quite the contrary, we just ask that we be allowed to be Jews in our ancient homelands west of the Jordan and nestled along the Mediterranean. Our only expression to everyone other than Jews is that if you wish a civilized society we can give as a guild the Noahic Code which is very much similar to our Ten Commandments without the religious requirements which is our relationship with Hashem (see both below). These are seven simple laws which make the backbone of almost every nation which also has a good human rights record which we would hold is no accident as the most difficult of the Codes is to establish a fair justice court system which ignores all except that which is true and proven. Beyond that recommendation we make no demands other than allow us to live beside all in peace and we will live according to our Torah, or at least try and live up to its high standards, and will allow the rest of the world to live as they choose. Those who may decide to live within our borders will be required to obey many of the legal requirements we demand of ourselves and will otherwise be free to live as they please and practice their religion as long as it does not conflict with our laws. One easy to understand requirement is if you worship Baal we will insist there be no human sacrifices as that is an abomination.

Perhaps we should not worry so much about Europe and the United States as they have been around quite a while and should have learned how to live and let live. Perhaps they could grant Israel the same privilege and respect. Hopefully we can all live in peace and understand that we all have our own problems and can eventually work them out with a minimum of distress. We have our own challenges and are not seeking any additional ones now or in the future. Those who insist on residing within what should be our recognized borders we will work out something mutually beneficial or we will face that difficulty as it unfolds. Israel has accommodated foreign attempts to intervene and run our affairs to their best interest which almost always appears to be in our worst interest and seemingly as attempts to erase the Jewish State. Let it be known that any attempts or demands that Israel not be the Jewish State or to deny the Jews a native land and other such intents which desire eradicating the Jewishness of Israel are, by definition, a form of anti-Semitism and will be treated with the dignity such deserves. Israel was established as the homeland of the Jewish People long before there was any Europe as we know it today. Long before there was a United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy and every other nation. There was not yet Greece as that nation consisted of city states such as Athens, Troy, Sparta, Ionia, Lesbos, Aetolia, Messenia, Thessaly and many others (see map below).

Rome, the predecessor to Italy, was not yet even a twinkle in the wolf pack’s eyes as Romulus and Remus had yet to be born, let alone adopted by some rather peculiar foster parents, but at least one grew to be a man to be reckoned with while the other, well, not so much. France was divided between the tribes of the Gaelic and Frank among other lessor tribes. Even the recognized ancient religions of the Buddhists, Confucians, Hindus, Taoist and other Asian religious beliefs were yet to be founded as these came into existence during the time of the building of the Second Temple in Jerusalem and well after the reign of Kings Saul, David and Solomon. The main religious structure other than the Hebrews and Hashem, the invisible creator of all that is, was and ever will be, was idolatry and the worship of kings and Pharaoh as gods.

There were tribal cultures of idolaters worshiping such as Baal, the Egyptian gods, Greek and Roman gods, Babylonian, Persian gods and the Arabic Moon god Allah. Then there were the human gods such as Pharaoh, Nebakanezzer, Roman Caesars and other absolute rulers who were worshipped as gods. Even later there came the Mayan, Aztec, Inca, Olmec and others and their gods. The one seeming constant for many of these gods was the blood sacrifice which often was a human sacrifice. Probably the most abhorrent of these human sacrifices were those made to Baal as these were the sacrifice of infants, the most innocent and helpless (some examples pictured below). There are examples existing even today of idolatry and some would refer to avarice and the pursuit of wealth above all other considerations as examples of a form of idolatry where the coinage would represent their idol.
