Anti-Semitism’s Israeli Amplifier of Inaction and Timidity

 

The existence of anti-Semitism across Europe, Canada, the United States and the rest of the developed world, particularly on college campuses, is growing and will soon be beyond control and spread throughout society. The first waves will soon break out as today’s college students being steeped in anti-Israel, anti-Zionist and anti-Semitic programs and virtual pogroms graduate and bring their toxic views into the political world and then the workplace and society as a whole. These indoctrinations are presented as presumed pro-Palestinian protests such as Israel Apartheid Week, mock checkpoints, demonstrations blocking campus access portraying the Israeli security barrier as the modern version of the Berlin Wall or the Warsaw Ghetto Walls as well as faux eviction notices placed on Jewish and pro-Israel students’ dorm rooms claiming their rooms are to be demolished as protest of terror home demolitions and simple, straight out physical intimidation of Jewish and pro-Israel students. This article is not out to bang the drum which already has been accomplished to the point that a complete percussion section has been added to the anti-Semitism orchestrated noises around the world just covering college campuses and in some cases it spreading to public high schools. This is following a normal progression for many politicized items as has been tracked with other subjects such as global climate change, equal opportunity, affirmative actions, LGBTQ rights and other highly charged political subjects from our modern societies. We will be taking a different tact driving to perceive what is probably the one major change which if taken would help rid the entire developed world from this pernicious evil. We will leave the proof to the links above and what will probably be more than sufficient numbers of articles which are sure to continue to surface. That could change and do so with a rapidity that would astonish the world and could be right around the corner if only some specific events and particular actions taken by some crucially critical people would materialize, but such things are unfortunately not looking ready to occur. So, let’s dive in and see what needs to be shaking.

 

Anti-Israel Protests

 

One of the first items which everybody a week ago thought was fair accompli and about to happen as soon as all the arrangements were done and ground was broken was the repeated statement once more by a candidate for President of the United States that the American Embassy in Israel would be moved from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. Candidate Donald Trump promised, and we quote, “We will move the American Embassy to the eternal capital of the Jewish people, Jerusalem,” speaking to the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) in March. Further he stated this important add-on stating, “The Palestinians must come to the table knowing that the bond between the United States and Israel is absolutely, totally unbreakable.” Well, here we are in week one and already the moving of the American Embassy to Jerusalem has gone from we will to a process where ramifications and complications must be weighed and a cost/benefit analysis performed and all the other irrelevant items being spit out all in an effort to say we are going to do the same old same old. We have already heard of Jordan, the Palestinian Authority and other Arab allies having warned the White House of severe repercussions should it proceed with the move. The threats included a threatened review of bilateral relations with both the US and Israel plus warnings of an upsurge in violence should the embassy be relocated. Please do not tell us that the Trump campaign were not aware of these ramifications when they followed the well-worn path of lying to AIPAC knowing full well that they would turn everything over to the State department and Pentagon and either or both would come back with a report warning against such rash actions as they would inflame the world and the ramifications far outweighed any benefit if there could even be an argument that there exists a benefit. Further, they would question the expense and warn that such simply was politically risky should any of the threats of violence be traced to having moved the Embassy, which the State department would warn they would most likely find as the cause of any terrorism targeting American facilities overseas.

 

So, Trump is not going to be as pro-Israel as advertised, and why should he? Expecting President Trump to be more pro-Israel than Israel is ridiculous, as it should be. We learned this centuries ago and it was most succinctly stated by Rabbi Hillel who wisely asked, “If I am not for myself, then who will be for me? And if I am only for myself, then what am I? And if not now, when?” When, as we mentioned yesterday, the Israeli Security Cabinet voted unanimously to delay discussion on any law annexing Maaleh Adumim, can we expect for President Trump to stick his neck out and move the American Embassy to Israel to Jerusalem when the Israelis main decision makers unanimously refused to even consider annexing just a suburb of East Jerusalem? Of course that would be ridiculous. For proof just read Hillel above and it plainly states that step one will always be us being for what we hold dear before we can expect others to act similarly in our interests. Perhaps it would be a good idea to inundate the members of the Knesset’s e-mails with copies of Hillel’s quote followed by a simply Yiddish question, “Nu?” implying to ask what have you done recently which changes anything. Israel acting weak and timid reflects on everything worldwide simply because Israel is the exemplary representation of Jewish pride and strength and of late Israel has shown neither for quite some time.

 

When Israel acts decisively and boldly projects strength and confidence taking whatever steps necessary to protect their people and the future of the Jewish State, it becomes reflected in the actions by Jews in the world and affects the way Jews are treated. When Israel demands respect as she did during the first half of her brief history, the world respected the Jews and allowed for Jews to be proud and live holding their heads high. As Israel has mired herself and given concession after concession with nothing to show for any of it as the land for peace more represented land for terrorism and Israel appeared weak and Jews started to wear long faces and are soon, if not already, hang their heads and shuffle along giving once again the image of the Jew ready to be kicked and ill-regarded. The ghetto Jews, as it had been called throughout much of modern history, was again the view. The Jews were those people who are to be blamed for all the ills in the world, all the wars, all the hatreds, all the destitution, all of any and every evil imaginable and the Jew could be kicked and spat upon and they would shuffle off accepting any scorn. This persona has become accepted on all too many college and university campuses in the developed world. As Israel is demeaned and seen as threatened and not really taking actions to protect themselves, this places the Jews across the world in jeopardy of attack and other forms of anti-Semitism. These acts have already made numerous cities across Europe actually dangerous to Jews to even so threatening that, as in Malmo, most of the Jews are packing up and departing. The numbers of Jews making Aliyah from France this past year was the highest since the end of World War II and many times the average for any year in the past half century. Further, the Arab world is using their oil wealth to finance those NGOs who coordinate numerous campus groups in anti-Israel and anti-Zionist programs with very obvious and well-coordinated demonstrations and events demeaning Israel and Zionism and by an extension anti-Semitism as many times these actions also lead to direct targeting of the Jews on the campus sometimes placing their lives and health in danger.

 

As noted in the articles linked above, there are campuses in Britain where Jews do not even apply as the atmosphere is that toxic. This is a direct result of Israeli passive resistance to terrorism and apparent trepidation to acting boldly to suppress those acting against her. This has to end but for that to come to pass Israel will need to elect a far more active and bold leadership. This can be done but first an election is necessary and the Israeli Zionists and related activists will need find and promote someone to lead one of the existing parties and then support that party with sufficient votes that they either are the party making the coalition or be the main partner in a coalition with sufficient influence to force definitive action. The United States election set in place an opportunity of a lifetime. The election of Donald Trump as President and the fact that for the first time in memory the House of Representatives, the Senate, the White House and soon even the United States Supreme Court will be Republican or conservative making support for Israel, especially as a fair percentage of Democrats in Congress also support Israel, a given, freeing Israel to act without any ramifications from Washington. This is a situation which has not been seen since the founding of the modern state of Israel and may never return again should it disappear in the next election, a certain possibility as the opponents to President Trump will throw everything they have to at least take back the House of Representatives if not also the Senate. There are no guarantees in American politics but the stars and planets have aligned along with the Congress and White House to favor a bold and take-action Israel, now all that is necessary is leadership willing to take action which will define the state of Israel and the state of Israeli politics for the foreseeable future.

 

The unfortunate unanimous vote by the Prime Minister’s Security Cabinet to delay considerations on annexing Maaleh Adumim must be laid in the lap of Prime Minister Netanyahu as well as any leaders of the presumed Zionist and Religious Zionist parties who are represented in the Security Cabinet such as Naftali Bennet. There can be no excuse other than fear of retributions from European nations who are acting with ill will already towards Israel and also allowing similar disregards for their Jewish citizens throughout their college and university communities and even in many cities and towns. The BDS movement is making strides thanks to the recent United Nations Security Council (UNSC) Resolution 2334 which was facilitated by President Obama who had been rumored was personally involved along with his Secretary of State John Kerry as a means of tying incoming President Trump’s hands in dealing with Israel and in the Middle East. The best way to counter the disastrous implications of that UNSC Resolution is strong and defined actions performed as an in your face Israeli response. The UNSC will not be following up and passing any similar or other damaging resolution against Israel as President Trump will reinstate the American veto of such damaging resolution in the UNSC. The message must be delivered to the Knesset that the irons are hot and it is time to put the hammer to anvil and beat out a favorable fait accompli. The time to annex not only Maaleh Adumim, but Bet El, Ariel, Betar Illit, Modi’in Illit, Har Gilo, Gush Etzion at the least and all of Judea and Samaria returning the PLO, Fatah, and all other terrorist affiliated persons to Tunis or wherever in Europe they would be welcome and give the Arab Palestinians their first hopes for a bright and unencumbered future free of the kleptocracy which has stolen all hope from them for the past near quarter of a century. Will the world, particularly Europe, explode in indignation? Probably, but ride out their initial explosion and with time they will tire of complaining and when things here in Israel settle and the Arabs are slowly but surely incorporated into Israeli society and their lives improve immeasurably, there will be less and less reason to protest eventually leaving no reasons to protest. The future with a secure Israel, and this should be the sole consideration of the Knesset, is with Israel with all the lands promised us between the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea and not sharing it with any terrorist nest guaranteed to feed the world’s need to hate Israel, and by equal measure hate Jews. Israel could do more to guarantee her future and destroy anti-Semitism by simply annexing all of Judea and Samaria, removing those who would continue being a menace and reward those Arabs who desire living in peace with equality and security for all. By acting to assure Israel’s future and boldly protecting Israel, Israel would herself be combatting anti-Semitism in the world with better efficiency than any other actions could dream of accomplishing. The first question is can Netanyahu act or is he so damaged by the strains of leadership that he is no longer capable of acting definitively and securing the Israeli future? The last question is are the Zionist Israelis organized enough to start and continue programs and demonstrations demanding that the Knesset and the Prime Minister with his Security Cabinet act definitively with a minimum of delay as time is precious, and if we might repeat Rabbi Hillel, “If I am not for myself, then who will be for me? And if I am only for myself, then what am I? And if not now, when?”

Three Weeks Could Produce Obama Surprise of the Week

 

One must first broaden their horizons to play at this sick little game. Remember that President Obama still has a little over three weeks left and he still has his pen even if it is too late for his phone to help. This all depends on what legacy President Obama believes he is setting, not what legacy he is actually achieving. When one allows their vengeful and oh so petty side to overrule all sense of propriety so many things become possible. One could see crippling the incoming President with such a mountain of impending disasters that he will waste his first year putting out fires and rescuing lost causes. President Obama has taken a pass at the United Nations Security Council all while pushing for a resolution to punish those uppity Jews otherwise known as Israel. He has all but eliminated any future the United States and Canada, as he was working with Canadian leftist Prime Minister Trudeau, drilling or mining for precious natural resources leaving almost the entire Arctic region for the Russians to explore and drain of everything he claimed to have rescued from the greedy hands of American capitalists. There are so many other fronts where he could even create calamities and disasters beyond the pale and since he is surrounded by sufficiently bright minds, nothing we add here will be giving them any ideas they already have not thought about, so no damage looking around and seeing what is the potential for mischief.

 

President Obama may not be actually capable of declaring war as that is reserved for Congress, but why would that stop him now, as he could provoke a state of war with Russia or China or Israel. President Obama has a long list of those who have not bowed to his preeminence, that is when he was not bowing to theirs (see images below). Protocols are one thing; bowing to the point of submission is completely different. President Obama entered office with little knowledge as to the actual importance of the office he was to hold. He differed to nearly every leader he met initially apparently believing it was polite. It was submissive and his actions afterwards proved that perception to be most accurate. Still, anybody receiving the Nobel Prize for Peace when still shuffling people around to complete their Cabinet and place their preferred people in Ambassadorships is bound to make anybody’s head spin giddy with the feelings of the moment and to honestly believe that it was a sign that he would accomplish great things. Now President Obama finds himself with mere weeks left, the next President hostile to virtually everything he accomplished and no real legacy except as probably being the President with the most number of presumed accomplishments reversed in the first year of the following President’s administration. The real problem with much of President Obama’s presumed accomplishments is they were either passed with a veto proof majority in Congress willing to support everything he proposed and to fall at his feet when required. Still, he was unable to get his energy plans and the carbon tax and credit system passed (even the Democrats realized that would destroy the economy irreparably) and only got his healthcare system, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA, Obamacare) passed without a single Republican vote making it an albatross around the neck of every Democrat legislator, retreated from Iraq while announcing a date American troops would all but desert Afghanistan leading to the disasters in Iraq, Afghanistan and largely Syria along with the birth of the Islamic State (not the Junior Varsity Obama labelled them but also a problem soon to meet a solution), started but did not finish a war in Libya leading to Syria redux, and generally underperformed. So, what to do to set things to right and gain something of a legacy?

President Obama took care of the first thing on his bucket list, revenge on Bibi Netanyahu and destroying any possibility for peace between Israel and the Arab world. This also set the stage for a potential war between the entire world and Israel. His Security Council abstaining after forcing the bringing to a vote a condemnatory piece of garbage against Israel while leaving the Palestinians not even required to make a statement about peace will make it a required necessity for Israel to retreat behind the Green Line or face isolation from the world. This piece of garbage is making her once again completely vulnerable to another massive Arab assault with genocidal intents just as happened in 1948 and again in 1967. Israel surviving those wars, and even thriving, that was only by the will of Hashem as both times the survival of Israel was the miracle. President Obama does not wish for Israel to thrive, survive or anything resembling existing and he has no desire for any space to be the Jewish homelands. His orders to abstain and forcing the bringing of this motion after the President elect worked to have it postponed was a bastardation of his powers and a vile show of hatred. What was done is done and the world will never allow it to be undone. The world was embarrassed and forced to rescind their United Nation General Assemble passing of a resolution declaring “Zionism is racism” begrudgingly. The Durban 2001 World Conference against Racism which carried the official title of the noble sounding long stretching string of words, “World Conference Against Racism, Racial Discrimination, Xenophobia and Related Intolerance,” chaired by the esteemed anti-Zionist, anti-Israel, anti-Semite then United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Mary Therese Winifred Robinson. This conference has been celebrated repeatedly and will continue to be celebrated for as long as Israel remains the Jewish State and its target will never change. The initial conference devolved into such a vile seething hatred of Israel and Jews in general centered around the “Zionism is racism” theme. The United States joined Israel in walking out. Later reviews of the Durban Conference were boycotted by several western nations to no avail as when hate runs rampant, especially when centered on the Jews; it gains a life of its own but given time will not end with the Jews and always results in horrors beyond the initial targets. Read the Bible, ancient history and even recent history including World War II and whatever will be the result of the current hatreds infecting the Arab and much of the Muslim world and rapidly spreading through Europe and beyond. But this is actually not of President Obama’s making, he has simply acted as it conduit assisting its spread and facilitating the general infection of anti-Semitism throughout the world and even onto the American college campuses where it infects the future leaders of the United States and the world. This will likely be President Obama’s greatest legacy.

 

President Obama still has his vexation with Putin for ignoring the greatness of President Obama and for opposing his Syria policy, a policy few have been capable of identifying. President Obama had his retreat into oblivion red lines which Bashir al-Assad crossed again and again no matter how far back they were moved. If memory serves us, President Obama had to retreat his lines until Russian President Putin stepped in and offered a false deal which was graciously accepted. Unfortunately, President Obama has a strange way of showing gratitude, he plots to belittle and destroy which may explain why so few have rushed to his side in times when he could have used friends. Sure, those from the extreme left and Democrats who depended on his goodwill stood there but that was their greed and their disgrace. President Obama might still cause a confrontation in Syrian airspace testing the Russian demands that any actions be coordinated with Russia. What might be the result of American and Russian pilots engaging over Syria?

 

China also has made President Obama look impotent as they have challenged former United States allies. Already the Philippines have reconsidered their faith in their alliance and dependence on the promises of the United States for protection. President Obama has actually managed to chase an ally into the arms of the Chinese despite a multitude of signs that there was a problem needful of attention. Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte delivered a number of ever increasingly vile, insulting, obscene and crude references and names referring directly to the United States President. Japan has for the first time since World War II decided to develop their own active military forces including a blue water navy and is even considering finalizing their development and manufacturing of nuclear weaponry. Consider the irony and what it must take for Japan to actually consider favorably becoming a nuclear armed nation. That is an accomplishment for which one should feel deep shame, but some amongst us appear incapable of shame, they simply continue bumbling along making everything they touch turn into disaster after disaster. Taiwan is following Japan’s lead and also considering arming themselves with everything within their technological limits. They too are considering arming with nuclear weaponry. What an accomplishment, not only making some excuse for a treaty, sorry, our mistake, Presidential Agreement between the P5+1 and Iran guaranteeing the Mullahs of Iran can arm themselves with nuclear armaments in approximately eight to ten or twelve years, nobody knows as the treaty appears to be worded differently for each copy, the Russians have one version, the Germans another which appears very similar to the French and British, the United States has the most strident restrictive against Iran version and then there is the Iranian version which appears to be variable, able to mean whatever they desire when they desire it. Once the Iranians arm with nuclear weapons, the Saudi Arabian Royals promise they will acquire nuclear arms (they have an agreement with Pakistan for nukes when they need as they financed the Pakistani nuclear development program), the Egyptians and Turkish leaders have intimated they too will go nuclear, and who knows who else in the Middle East might think having a few nuclear weapons in their pantry might prove useful. President Obama, the proliferation President who armed the world for Armageddon.

 

We have not gotten to Libya, the Sudan and the general mayhem which has slowly begun to encompass the entire area of MENA (Middle East and North Africa). Then there has been the economic malaise which affected not only the United States but much of Europe as well. Then there has been the flood of Muslims into Europe and the United States and with them increased murder, rape, and other criminal activity including sexual gang rapes and molesting which manifested itself on New Year’s Eve as well as at other festive events as well as increased terrorism. Some have intimated that these refugees consist of an inordinately high percentage of single males between the ages of mid-teen years to late thirties and early forties, exactly the makeup one would send to prepare for an invasion acting as a fifth front tearing Europe apart from within. This has brought on fears by many that the refugees are an invasion disguised as a refugee problem in need of a humanitarian solution but will soon produce an Islamic resurgence in Europe resulting in Islam finally conquering the continent. That could be one heck of a legacy.

 

There is still time for more mischief with President Obama’s main obsession, the destruction of Israel using the grievance mongering Palestinian cause as the weapon of choice. He could recognize an Arab state of Palestine and actually map out the recognized borders. There is still an opportunity for more resolutions from the Security Council even to include an enforceable Chapter Seven Resolution demanding that Israel remove almost a million Jews from Judea, Samaria and East Jerusalem setting as the recognition of Palestine in all but actuality, or even go as far as having the United Nations Security Council establish the twenty-second Arab state. The latitude available to President Obama boggles the mind and Israel has the largest bullseye centered on them even to the point of establishing that Jerusalem is actually an Islamic Waqf and as such is forbidden from even becoming the Israeli capital city and push such through the United Nations Security Council. As long as President Obama and United States Ambassador to the United Nations Samantha Power design to work to Israel’s detriment, something both have shown a great propensity to accomplish driven by a particular and peculiar hatred for Israel and Prime Minister Netanyahu and his government, they can abstain from any motion and know that the remainder of the Security Council will most gladly concur with anything which damages Israel. This alone could make for the greatest damage not only against Israel, but against Europe and eventually the world, the entire world. Damaging Israel will embolden the Arab world which could easily lead to a general war similar to the 1948 Arab war against Israel. Such a war will not end with Israel and the spread of that war beyond MENA to the rest of Africa, Europe, India and even beyond to Asia and across the waters to the United States. Even an isolationist President Trump would have no other play, his hand would be forced. The dangers over the next three weeks and three days are legion and the best that could happen is nothing, absolutely nothing. We should all pray for quiet, peace and quiet with no further surprises.

Coming of Obama’s Parting Shot @ Israel

 

President Obama, contrary to many leftist American Jews’ commentaries and letters to editors, has a quite high animosity towards Israel which has been evident from his Cairo speech onward. We will grant that we have been experiencing a calmed and quieted President Obama concerning Israel over the summer. That changed this week on the slightest of provocations. Israel announced their intention to continue with a previously announced building of homes in the Jewish community of Shiloh. These homes are being built in order to provide the families whose homes in a nearby community are to be destroyed in response to President Obama and the State Department efforts. Apparently President Obama and the State department desired these Jews be forced from beyond the 1949 Armistice line, the Green Line, and within the indefensible pre June 1967 borders. By the way, the belief that the pre June 1967 borders, the Green Line, being indefensible is not just the Israeli government’s belief but has been the position of numerous American Presidents, Secretary of States, Defense Secretaries and members of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and Pentagon and other Generals. Should Israel ever be forced back within those previous borders the midsection of the country in and around Tel Aviv will be a mere nine miles. Yes, Israel would be pushed into a border with her midsection only nine miles wide which, just for reference, is less than half the width of Washington, D.C. Yet there are rumors that President Obama is planning a last ditch ambush against Israel to punish Netanyahu and Israel for not making his Nobel Peace Prize valid and of having been awarded with valid foresight. The editorials and other commentaries criticizing the Nobel Committee for getting carried away over the election of the first President of the United States of color in their rush to award President Obama with the Nobel Peace Prize had even some within the Nobel Central Committee suggesting that the award be negated in the view of the actual record of President Obama’s Administration. Perhaps this might be President Obama’s effort to validate his being awarded the Nobel Peace Prize on the backs of the safety and possible future of Israel and her people.

 

 

Some have questioned what might be the real harm behind such a United Nations passing of such a resolution. There have been almost countless United Nations General Assembly Resolution and official denunciations from the Human Rights Council against Israel and Israel has survived them all quite nicely even to include the 1975 Zionism as racism General Assembly Resolution which was finally repealed some sixteen years later. Would another meaningless and unenforceable United Nations General Assembly generated piece of paper actually have any deleterious effects on Israel and the day to day life of the average Israeli? Well, that depends on whether what President Obama is intending to pursue is simply a harmless General Assembly Resolution or whether he is intent on something with more weight and potentially even some teeth to the motion. Granted, much of what might be accomplished at the United Nations, especially in the General Assembly where anything anti-Israel has a sort of built in guarantee of passage, would not be all that threatening but that is not what we expect from what we have been capable of gathering and assume from our efforts.

 

President Obama has had the vision of himself as the man who ultimately ended the Israeli-Palestinian Arab conflict and he has been determined since his very first day in the White House when he made his very first official phone call from the Oval Office to Mahmoud Abbas even before calling any actual head of state. There have been unconfirmed rumors about the content of that phone call which White House official commentary has passed off as being cordial but nothing of substance nor should any importance be placed in the call without proof that there were any guarantees or promises of intent communicated. Such a disclaimer reeks of something worth concealing being the reality and we have suspected that President Obama, filled with the grand visions of himself as some great communicator and a special individual with privilege and promise greater than his predecessors did in fact give guarantees to Mahmoud Abbas that he would press forward and bring about the Palestinian State which the President himself believed in his heart was the right and proper thing that was on the right side of history, and we all know President Obama’s sense of importance on things he perceives to be on the right side of history, whether that be the real side or not being unimportant. President Obama has criticized Vladimir Putin for being on the wrong side of history expecting that such a criticism would force President Putin to alter his plans and prevent him from such dangerous actions which would fall on the wrong side of history such as invading the Ukraine or interfering in President Obama’s plans in Syria. This right side of history theme plays a large part in President Obama’s views of the world and he also appears to believe that he has this special ability to judge what is and is not on the right side of history, and a Palestinian State is on his perceived right side of history as has been the Iran Nuclear Deal while Prime Minister Netanyahu is on the wrong side of History.

 

It is our conjecture that President Obama is not planning on a General Assembly Resolution calling for the formation of a Palestinian State with the Green Line as its borders and that all Israeli towns and other structures and settlements are merely unhelpful and undesired as they are preventing the settlement of the conflict. This is mere restating of what he and others have claimed in ever increasing volume and irascibility. President Obama has not given up on settling the conflict in what he views as the correct and properly fair manner which is, of course, the right side of history. As he sees history, Israel was illegally formed and has stolen Palestinian Arab lands as the Jews are a people of ill will; evil, dark hearts who have aggressively strode to steal ever more Arab Palestinian homeland and probably never should have been given the land for their state in 1948 or ever and do not deserve a nation of their own as they are to be punished to roam the world living at the kindness of others whom they repay with spite and poisoning their host’s lands and are accursed by Heaven and are the spawn of Satan. Simply stated, he agreed with every sermon condemning the Jews he ever heard in the Reverend Wright’s Mosque disguised as a church and was a friend and believer with Edward Said, Louis Farrakhan and Rashid Ismail Khalidi. These men were among the fomenters of President Obama’s feud with Israel and desire to destroy Israel through whatever means he was able and he sees that opportunity slipping from his grasp and will take whatever measures he feels will be effective in setting in motion the eventual destruction of Israel and by doing so rid the world of the Jew.

 

So what is it we fear that President Obama will be pursuing and at what point in his remaining weeks should his actions be expected. President Obama cannot act before the election and will remain mute while he will have others deny, deny, deny and deny any accusations no matter what evidence may be presented and will call on some of his “Jewish” friends to defend him such as the leaders of J-Street and friends from academia who share his distaste for Israel. Once the election has passed and the Christmas “Winter” break approaches and congress is ready to run for the hills, or from the Hill, he will arrange for a quiet, low key and unpublicized meeting of the Security Council where only those nations desired will be formally invited with the rest receiving the information of the meeting the night before. President Obama will then have presented a Resolution recognizing the State of Palestine with the Green Line as its borders and East Jerusalem as its Capital City. Where we believe he will actually go so far as to make the proposal a Chapter Seven Resolution which is enforceable by the use of military intervention if any side does not comply appropriately and within a reasonable period of time, he may still be persuaded to simply settle for a Chapter Six Resolution which is a strong and insistent demand which will be accepted by the vast majority of nations, does not allow for the use of military force to enforce the resolution, just economic and other methods including removing embassies and ambassadors, economic sanctions, diplomatic pressures and anything else as long as it remains short of military intervention. The reason he might not call for a Chapter Seven is should Donald Trump have won the election he knows that there would be little if any chance that his resolution no matter its wording would be enforced by the United States which pretty much means it would not be enforced. But should Hillary have won the election, President Obama would be free to go for all the marbles knowing that at worst a President Hillary Clinton would do little if anything to prevent military enforcement and would pretend her hands were tied and implement heavy political and economic pressures including an end to all aid to Israel and perhaps arming Arab forces and provide them with protective air support in forcing Israel to comply with President Obama’s final efforts. This could be done even against the will of Congress providing the efforts did not go beyond the Presidential prerogative for use of force. Going further could bring on charges of impeachment but should there be sufficient Democrat membership in congress, President Hillary Clinton could even ignore all limitations knowing she was safe from being fully impeached by both houses such that even if she were charged she would not be convicted.

 

As far as what could prevent President Obama from taking such actions, the answer is unfortunately, “Nothing.” Should he decide that such would establish for him his rightful place in history, on the right side of history as he sees it, then he will likely do as he sees fit. The minimum would be a simple General Assembly Resolution which would be next to meaningless but still fulfill his promises to see to the recognition of statehood for the Palestinians even despite such an action having no teeth. Such an effort would take little extra action as such a proposed Resolution, as stated before, would breeze through the General Assembly and could be accomplished even if he waited until after the New Year as he has the first three weeks before the inauguration to do as he feels proper and Congress does not return until the week of the inauguration and does not convene until after the inauguration. Anything done in January would be performed without any interference from Congress or ratification from Congress, of course. Congress is unlikely to approve of whatever moves President Obama chooses but that would have little effect on the General Assembly as they have often thumbed their noses at the United States Congress and also the President when it suited their mood of the moment. Any Security Council Resolution would eventually require the confirmation as if a treaty by Congress which would present problems for the United States supporting the action of the American President, even if a ‘lame duck’ in his final moments. Should the Resolution be a Chapter Seven Security Council Resolution then it would most definitively require Congressional ratification just as if it were a treaty, something the Senate would be unlikely to approve. As for what effect that would have on the United Nations Security Council actions is a wholly different kettle of fish. Finally, there is also the possibility that the Security Council Resolution could be introduced by a nation other than the United States and in order to avoid any fallout President Obama could simply have the United States abstain and not work against the resolution knowing that by doing such he would be granting the effort a tacit approval which would influence the other permanent members of the Security Council to at worst also abstain thus allowing it to very probably pass as some of the other members would still support such a measure. There is one other possibility, that of one of the other permanent members using their veto thus ending the resolution and if it were a Chapter Seven Resolution we are willing to bet that is exactly what would be the case. The nations most likely to use their veto might surprise many but we would expect either China or Russia to be the veto wielding savior. So, imagine an American President attempting to use the Security Council of the United Nations to have the world force Israel to surrender all lands gained in the 1967 Six Day War and retreat behind the Green Line and the Russians or the Chinese vetoing the Resolution foiling the efforts of the President of the United States. That would be the ultimate embarrassment and there could be no more fitting manner in which to provide President Obama with the award of being consistently on the wrong side of history in his entire eight years as President.

 

As far as counting on anything to counter any actions intended by President Obama as he got on average three-quarters of the Jewish vote in his two elections if not higher. About the only Jews who can be definitively counted upon to raise the roof are the ZOA (Zionist Organization of America) who will be left talking while the phone has been secured under a cushion and the aide has left the room. There is nothing that the American Jews would even be willing to do as there will be at least as high a percentage voting for Hillary Clinton as voted for President Obama and most of the rest are represented by the ZOA or are Orthodox Jews likely residing in the New York greater metropolitan area and thus their votes even ifnot for Hillary will make little if any difference unless the all but unthinkable happens and New York State becomes a close race and Trump actually has even the slightest of hopes. That is unlikely but we can hope.

 

So what can be done and is it possible? What can be done is risk it all and have Prime Minister Netanyahu call the American Amabassador to his office, have the Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations call the American Ambassador to his office, have the Israeli Ambaddador to the United States call the Secretary of State for an urgent meeting, and if refused, then leave a letter at the White House addressed to the President and hand delivered all with a single message. Should President Obama use the Security Council for any resolution establishing a Palestinian State or declaring the 1949 Armistice Lines as a recognized border, Israel will take action. These lines are also called the Green Line, the one President Obama misnames as the 1967 lines, as they were not established in 1967 but were corrected in 1967. The action Israel would take should the United States seek official recognition of such as a border by the Security Council, would be to establish the Jordan River as the border as it is legally under all international laws including at least one treaty ratified by the United States when stating and signing on to agreements that the San Remo Conference was a valid document and the Treaty of Sèvres and all others based on San Remo are valid in signifying the borders for the Jewish State.

 

This establishment of the proper and legal borders will not permit a single Palestinian to become a citizen immediately and will establish the officers, leaders and security force officers and all of the special forces as personna non grata in Israel and provide them with two weeks to find new living arrangements. All of the Palestinian Security Forces will have forty eight hours to turn in their weapons and each will be reviewed and may potentially be hired for the new police force under Israeli police command. Some may even be granted their former rank and even placed in command positions if they check to have no connections to terrorist entities past or present. Finally, the citizens of the Palestinian Authority will be permitted to remain and will continue to have their businesses, their homes, their jobs if they work for an Israeli owned company, and some employees if requested by companies which relocated within Israel due to the BDS boycotts may be granted work entry permits to return to their former positions should the company so request. After a year there will be decision made as to whether and the procedure that interested Arabs formerly under the Palestinian Authority government will be permitted to start the procedures for Israeli citizenship. Within six months of that date there will be free and open election in the former areas of the Palestinian Authority under Israeli supervision. Former Palestinian Authority citizens will be granted local voting rights in their areas but should they move they will be required to seek Israeli citizenship once a procedure is established before being granted the vote. As the Palestinian Authority citizens will initially be considered alien residents, they will not have rights to vote in Israeli general elections as that will remain reserved for Israeli citizens, including any of the Palestinian Authority Arabs who gain such citizenship. Israel will immediately take over the police and security functions and all radio and television and cable networked shows and start a review to see if they meet with Israeli broadcast regulations and laws before being permitted back on the air. Other problems will be handled as they present themselves and any terrorist activity will be punished by immediate repatriation to their country of origin or any nation they might choose who will accept them even to include the United States.

 

An example might be the Palestinian Authority Registrar for the National Palestinian Committee for Education, Culture and Science who was not only not from the Israeli area but his name tells his nationality as he is from Sudan as the rest of Murad Al-Sudani clan originated. He is the Secretary General as listed on their official site here about half way down the page. He is far from the only officer or person of importance as most of the higher ranking persons, Yasser Arafat and Mahmoud Abbas amongst them, are of foreign origins, another of the dirty little secrets which are constantly denied and all proof ignored by the rest of the world as their desired future lies with an Arab extinguishing of Israel. That alone should have been enough reason for the PLO, Hamas, Islamic Jihad and their gangs be removed and law and order replace the kleptocrats stealing the people blind and sent packing giving peace and real opportunity returned to the decent people of the West Bank and Gaza, and there are a number of decent people who are mostly scared to death and must watch their every utterrance. They deserve better and a fair opportunity for a productive life.
