The Only Two Endings to Arab Israeli War

One of them was considered inevitable and even about to become historic fact. When the United Nations Made their respective division of lands between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea there were constant ongoing debates in the make-up of the map and who got what lands with some holding that it mattered not one bit which was chosen as the Arab Armies from all of the neighboring Arab States and beyond would descend upon the Jews slaughtering every last Jew. Finally, on November 29, 1947 the United Nations issued their non-binding General Assembly Resolution 181, also known as the United Nations Partition Plan for Palestine. The Jews under the authority of the Zionist Congress and the majority of Jewish groups accepted the plan without reservations and emphasized that the Jewish People were now granted a great opportunity to build a modern Jewish State which would live in peace with its neighbors. The Arab States reacted bristling with threats of annihilations sweeping the Middle East of the Jews and forcing them into the sea. These have been the persistent visions though how it had been fought has changed. The Arab rejection of the partition plan invalidated only the plans for dividing the lands but left the founding of some form of statehood over the last remaining piece of the British Mandate set for the ensuing May 15th of 1948. This meant that on that date the remaining claimant received all of the land of the remaining mandate as their land. This claim was further backed by the agreement between Arab League and Zionist Congress dividing British Mandate along the Jordan River such that the greater portion of just over three-fourths were to be Arab Land and the just under one-fourth reserved as indivisible protected by the British Crown for a Jewish State, (see maps below). This was how the situation sat on midnight of the morning of May 15th of 1948. The attitudes had not changed, simply became more encompassing on the Arab side with proclamations by the various leaders both secular and especially religious shrilling repeating the obvious destruction of any Jewish State, though their actual wordings were more shrill and far more descriptive using terminology such as slaughter, “Sweeping the Jews into the Sea,” annihilation such as Genghis Kahn and promises that no Jewish State would be permitted to reside in the heart of Arab Muslim lands Allah Will Providing. One can see, the sides and their rhetoric have little changed, Israel still calling for peace and mutual advancement and the Arabs for the total destruction of the Jewish State only now funneling such goals as support for the Palestinians to have their state on their lands which just happen to include all of Israel.

The evening of May 14, 1948 came and under the Jewish calendar the next day starts at sundown. The Israelis began their celebrations throughout the lands with great joy and exuberance showing no trepidations or sense of preparedness for the certain cataclysmic conflagrations which would commence the next morning and continue with some short, but important for both sides, armistice finally being ended at the final armistice line today referred to as the Green Line. This conflict had the most illogical of conclusions as both sides took opposite views, both with each other and each with what were the considered historical definitions of win and lose. The Arabs saw the concluding armistices as actions that would prove to be but a temporary cessation of the conflict which soon would not matter not as their victory would be made absolute soon, Allah permitting.

As the Arabs had seen gaining control over land not under their control at the onset of the war as a loss, the Jews saw their loss over those lands as their resultant victory as they had avoided the cataclysmic destruction of their entire state and their lives and the lives of every last Jew for whose protection they fought. Their victory was living to see another day and to retain the thought and existence of a Jewish State founded approximately two-thousand years after the Roman Dispersion and over two-thousand years after the last Maccabean Jewish State ruled. Since this cessation of fire this became the “Golden Borders” which Western negotiators always treated as the sacrosanct borders of choice. Every negotiation deliberated with claims that the Jordan River as the border never existed even for one day as the border of the Jewish State, a thought proven only by admitting a complete lack of both historical and biblical writings as one validates the other. The original Biblical Promised Lands by the application promised by Moses as described by the promises to Abraham and also Isaack and Jacob made by Hashem was defined by the Jordan River for those east of the River were defined as those the Israelites were not to war against but those west of the Jordan River had become so evil that their eradication from history was warranted. What was it that made them so evil can be traced back to the sacrifice Hashem demanded of Abraham only to intervene and demand that not only was his sacrificed beyond undesired but strictly forbidden by Hashem to make such sacrifice in any manner or way. This was the Sacrifice of Isaack, thus the Canaanites were an abomination as in their worship of Baal they sacrificed their children to their stone idol. Upon arriving at the Jordan River and the two tribes of herders, Reuben and Gad, requested of Moses to remain east as the lands were good for their cattle to graze and their ensuing promise to lead every battle for the conquest and remain until every other tribe had received their lands. This is from Numbers 32 which showed that even to remain east of the Jordan where their cattle could graze the two tribes of Reuben and Gad were required to take the lead in every battle thus risking the greatest numbers in casualties but often also the standout accomplishments. This was to absolve them of the lack of faith that their cattle would have eaten well in the Promised Lands west of the Jordan River.

Despite the Biblical evidence there is the agreement in the Churchill White Paper of June 3, 1922, calling to form the entity of Transjordan, with the border being the Jordan River and everything eastward leaving the remainders west of the Jordan River for the formation of the Jewish State. The Jordan River, for obvious reasons, has historically been the border used from the Biblical eras through until the Armistice of 1949 when the Jewish State controlled their smallest amount of lands. This was the only time at the end of hostilities that Israel was so restricted in land. As a consequence this border was the worst starting point Israel ever faced at the onset of war in 1967 which was the start of the Six Day War. At every ensuing war since the Six Day War the Jordan River had been the eastern boundary and at times beyond the Jordan River. Still the entirety of world efforts are to force Israel into her most vulnerable of positions she had ever held though the time of those boundaries has been less with the Jordan River and Golan Heights (which Israel annexed) have served as the border of Israel. The Golan Heights required annexation to become part of Israel and this was 1981 which was received with excessive series of condemnations and accusations of illegally expanding the recognized borders of Israel and you name it even to include references to this being the first step towards the attempt by Israel to achieve their desired Greater Israel. Nowhere did anyone refer to the portion of the Security Council Resolution 242 which allowed Israel to retain portions of the lands taken in a defensive war, which by historical precedents allowed for the winning side if having the war brought upon them managed to not only survive by push their aggressors back to retain all lands gained, Israel has subsequently returned the majority of the lands she held at the end of the Six Day War and the Yom Kippur War, both defensive wars, when Israel returned the entirety of the Sinai Peninsula. Should Israel retain the areas won from Jordan, were actually more liberated than conquered, as these were lands within the border declared and denoted by the United Nations on November 29, 1947, a critically conspicuous date either in its being mentioned or ignored.

The world apparently will neither remember their vote from 1947 nor the promises by the British in 1922 as both grants the Jordan River and all lands west as reserved for the formation of the Jewish State. Their insistence on, as President Bush and President Obama clearly stated the borders must be made with agreed swaps on the 1967 lines, 1949 Armistice Lines; both represent what has the denotations of the Green Line, which in Israeli interpretations are anything but green. The sad thing is it matters not what the world decides, states, implies or forces upon Israel. Nor does it matter one iota what Israel annexes, does not annex but holds, returns, becomes burdened with as return refused by former occupier as in Gaza and Egypt, or any other combination whereof. Nothing done here today on the Earth will change the inevitable and decisive, absolute, definitive and inevitable ending battle which will begin the resolution of this continuing conflict once and for all. One manner is so simple we can explain it in two sentences or conceivably less, so here goes. Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) lines are broken at numerous points and there is a race to completely crash the IDF defenses routing any hope at stopping the Arab victory. The result of this should be obvious to all.

There is a difference in the meaning of victory for the two sides. A victory for Israel is that they did not lose and everyone being killed. If the IDF broke the enemies’ lines and made significant gains and gained crucial geographically critical areas such as the Golan Heights and Jordan River and Velley, this is significant if such gains can be used to reach a land for peace which turns out to be a true peace paper for all time and not just a piece of paper applied for a limited time. The return of the Sinai Peninsula was a compromise insisted upon by Egypt as Israel was willing to return Gaza but Egypt refused the additional lands demanding that Israel retain the Gaza. This resulted in the peace treaty with Egypt which was observed under Sadat who bravely made peace and paid for it with his life as the Muslim Brotherhood arranged his assassination. President Mubarak was his successor and also observed the treaty and his plight for such acts against the people have played out in the recent past as he too was killed for his keeping the peace with the Jewish State. Morsi did not keep the treaty but made a human error and ignored the people and threatened the military, bad combination with almost unavoidable end which Morsi did not escape. Now Egypt is ruled by its former ranking General who won their second free and open elections. His name is el-Sisi and he had taken steps and made decisions which would endear him to the people which made him the expectant winner of any election, and he had some respected and respectable opposition. The peace with Egypt remains intact even if shakily so. But is it a real peace if it depends on who rules Egypt and each new ruler of Egypt gets to decide if they need obey that peace or not if it becomes inconvenient or inhibits their desire to write large in history that unlike all the others who also hated the Zionist entity, they destroyed it. And that takes us to the other side once we realize Israel offers peace to all her enemies, an honest peace which ends any hostilities, and it is there for them to grasp if they honestly, and unfortunately as a ploy to gain advantage. So, Israel may welcome a true peace and is willing to accept even the shakiest of offers or sacrifices necessitated, but what will end the conflict?

As has been established, an Arab victory is easily discerned by simply reading their news, propaganda, school textbooks in Gaza and Judea and Samaria (West Bank), music, social media, historical records, Imam Sermons, political speeches and virtually wherever one looks or listens or reads; their definition over Israel does not end in a surrender followed by a simple change on governance, it results in a military victory followed by violence and slaughter on a Biblical scale with the death of over six-million Israeli Jews and unknown deaths among Israeli Christians, Druze, Bedouins and Muslims as outside of all Arab Muslim towns anybody and everybody is a potential target for the bloodletting which would follow. Not only would the conquering soldiers take part in this violence, the general populace would be permitted to take part in the slaughter in order to bring honor to their families such that even young children will be assisted in killing their share so that they could have a link to this glorious slaughter. To the Western World and the Wester mind such acts are inconceivable and their reaction when told of such realities is one of skepticism and denial, but there is too much evidence for outright dismissal. The most famous representation of this was a picture shot by a photojournalist and gotten out before any interception was possible, otherwise this photo below would never have seen the light of day. The picture thus eluded the censors who heavily restrict any news and especially any photos or videos as each is more threatening a media likely to reveal things those in power cannot allow to be reported such as the celebratory exultations, street parades and all sorts of spontaneous celebratory exuberance on the verge of insanity and pure blood lust unknown in much of the world but not all places. This would be the unavoidable and unstoppable even if their political or religious leaders actually cared to end it due to the excessive hatreds being stoked for decades would override all else and the slaughter would proceed as if on an hyper-autopilot.

That leaves what an Israel victory would look like. First, we are not talking what a peace from the Israeli side would look like as that is already known by their willingness to accept the armistice ending the war of annihilation which started the morning Israel declared her independence despite having lost over twenty percent of her total area she had the morning of the founding and ten percent of her population yet an end to the violence was so welcomed they declared this as their war of Independence. About the only resemblance to other wars of independence was the existence of Israel at the end of the war. Where other nations make their declaration of statehood from an occupying power or at the end of a war overthrowing previous governance, Israel was brought into existence at an expressed time by legal writ of the overseeing world body and had the neighboring nations not invaded come the morning sun there would have been no such war and the celebrations might have lasted much longer.

In the ensuing wars of 1956 British, French, Israeli alliance war with Egypt when Egypt closed the Suez Canal and the Straight of Tiran to shipping thus instigating a casus belli resulting in an Israel capture of the Sinai Peninsula so quickly the Egyptian call to the British and French approaching naval and air power requesting a stay of attack and to now hold talks. The French and British backed by the United States and United Nations agreed that Egypt would open the blockaded seaways in exchange for the return of the Sinai Peninsula, Israel agreed. After the 1967 Six Day War there were another set of armistice lines set by the United Nations and acquiesced but not formally recognized by the Arab states and accepted by Israel. There were the Golan Heights, the Suez Canal and the Jordan River. In the 1973 Yom Kippur war Egypt and Syria successfully opened a surprise attack on Israel while mainline forces had been granted large numbers of leaves for the High Holidays. Israel was knocked reeling but was able to put together responses using mixed regular line units made from whatever troops were gathered in different parts of the country with whatever equipment was available and sully dispatch reserve units and by the war’s end were routing Syrian units and well on their way to Damascus, routed Egyptian units and were heading for Cairo and Alexandria when Israel was informed that if they returned to the armistice lines which were in effect after the Six Day War the Arabs would agree to end hostilities, Israel agreed.

Israel made peace with Egypt and offered to return the entirety of the Sinai and Gaza, Egypt drew the line leaving Israel Gaza as Egypt found the area too unruly to control and wished the ticking time-bomb be part of Israel. Israel made peace with Jordan and offered to return their occupied areas they called the West Bank, Jordan refused the return of the land. It was some time until Jordan decided to pass their “claims” to the West Bank to the PLO such that the Palestinians could now claim those lands as having been stolen by Israel in an unnecessary and unprovoked war which was not started by the “Palestinian People of Palestine” which was the first we heard that Palestine was the West Bank. Before this the occupation was all of Israel. Despite the treachery and complete falsehoods used to make any claim to the lands Israel holds, the reality is every opportunity for a real or even appearance of real peace offered Israel has accepted the offer in the hope it would be honored by the next ruler in nations notorious for breaking terms made by previous rulers. Israel, under the Prime Ministerships of Ehud Barak and Ehud Olmert offered well over ninety-five-percent (that is over 95%) of the West Bank, all of Gaza and half of Jerusalem to end the standoff and both men, with one offering more than the predecessor, were refused without even the dignity of a counter offer. For Israel peace means equality for her citizens, security for all within her borders all the time, no wars, no terrorism, no questioning by those within her borders of whether they will be safe taking in a show, going to a restaurant for dinner or even having pizza for lunch on a summer’s day sightseeing with the kids. Peace means Israel need not worry about wars brought by her neighboring nations, their neighbors or even their neighbors which would include Iran as that is the distance Iran is from Israel, so Iranian claims of border incursions made by Israel are so much lies and propagandas. This includes the charges of Israeli spies brought against, as far as we have been able to discern, Mossad trained squirrels, pigeons and other various animals and the one-off spiritual summoned entity. Israel poses Iran absolutely no threat while the opposite cannot be said.

That is what peace with Israel looks like, peace without threats, propaganda and even cooperation where such can be arranged and performed preferably above board, but below and out of sight in required, though in the open for assistance is preferred as such shows a true and lasting peace exists. Such a peace will take years of deprogramming the Arab street and will take a change of heart in one of the main underlying influences which overrules national leaders and is feared by any wise leader hoping to instigate such a change as these are dangerous tides in which to swim. Any such person attempting such an overreaching and complete change in the substrate of an entirety that rules the minds of over one billion of mankind is playing with forces beyond imagination and would require the backing of a force capable of monitoring and resisting such a deeply seated force that people willing will launch themselves to certain death in order to satisfy the dictate given them from an authority figure. Such is an area fraught with dangers and requires equal parts bravado, carefully placements of steps, rigid backbone to their support and deadly accurate intelligence as the opponent will use deadly force as if it were salt sprinkled on a meal. There was once such a man in Turkey and his fine work was destroyed from the strangest of places, the White House and Brussels, Belgium, but that is a take for another day.

Arabs Made the Choice Clear May 15, 1948

As every Jewish day begins at sunset the evening before rather than at midnight, the evening of May 14, 1948 began the celebrations of the declaration of the state of Israel. The population was a mix of various groups including but not limited to the Jews and Arabs who had resided side by side in peace for centuries in the Holy Lands, the Zionists who had been arriving since around 1850 with a sizeable increase after World War II as Jewish survivors had no other place to go, and the Arabs who had flocked to the area since the return of the Jews in a search for a brighter future for their families as the soon to be declared Jewish State had an improved economic outlook compared to her neighboring nations. These Arabs arrived from as close as Syria, Jordan and Egypt and as far as Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Yemen, the Sudan, Libya, Tunisia and even Algeria. There were separate and mixed celebrations into the night followed the next morning with seven Nations’ armies and attached militias invading from every border thus beginning what was planned to be a quick war of annihilation. There were other fighting that marred the night mostly along the periphery where Jews and Arabs lived together or as neighbors in villages a mere minutes’ walk apart. Some of these fights were of the greatest of sadness as these were Arab against Arab where the Arab villages which had decided to stay and join in building the new state were slaughtered by fellow Arabs and even some by their own neighbors or even families. The breaking of dawn made the Arab choice obvious as Jews found neighboring Arab villages mostly barren or strewn with corpses of those they knew as friends. There were two groups of Arabs remaining in Israel alive the next morning; those Arabs who truly desired to build the new state and those who planned on supporting the coming genocidal slaughter by striking at Israeli fighters from behind their lines and slaughtering the women and children who were not fighting on the front lines. The duplicity of those who remained only to aid the genocidal attacks from the seven nations’ Armies that morning of May 15, 1948 was the response of the Arab world as set forth by the “Arab League which declared that all Israel and those who sided with the Jews were to die and the land cleansed of this, as they regarded the forming of Israel, endemic contagion, this blighted pestilence which marred the purity of the surrounding Arabiya and had to be purged and scoured clean resettled by a more accepting Arab State which posed no insult or injury to the Arab communal pride, the Arab uniformity which they demanded be restored. That was the initial and the continuing view of the Arab world and that view persists to this day though it has transformed and adapted so as to form a more favorable and sympathetic front, though there has been no change of view from the Arab world or Arab League as is most evident in voting of the General Assembly of the United Nations.

The United Nations was not always against the Jewish State as they set forth a suggestion for a compromise which took the lands from which seventy-eight percent had been carved off of the original lands intended by the League of Nations for the formation of the Jewish State. The League of Nations validated the San Remo Conference formation of the Mandate system which was further agreed upon in the Treaty of Sèvres which established mandate lands under the guardianship of each of the victorious allied nations dividing up the defeated Ottoman Empire lands along with the Sykes-Picot Agreement which dealt with the remainder of lands of the Middle East and redrew the lines in eastern Europe with the British Mandate presumable set aside for the Jewish State. The ink had barely dried on the Sane Remo Conference and the Treaty of Sèvres when the British posed to the Zionist Congress, the Jewish ruling entity which represented the interests of the future Jewish State, proposing for the lands east of the Jordan River be repurposed, some might claim stolen by right of might as the British had an army and the Zionist Congress had quill pens and parchment, for an Arab State named Transjordan where the Arabs could have self-rule under the guidance, rule, of the Hashemite Monarchy which the British had owed a debt after the Hashemite family had aided the British and as a result lost their title over Mecca and Medina for which Transjordan could at best soften the blow. Needless to say, the Zionist Congress took this offer as it came with a promise of inviolability of the remaining twenty-two percent of the lands west of the Jordan River backed by the British Crown, a promise that had all the power of a stiff breeze on a spring day and as often comes in the spring, the storm clouds soon blew in. The British did to the best of their ability place the lands promised to the Zionist Congress all but unavailable for the Jews to emigrate to during their time of most dire necessity as the British along with the rest of the world’s nations closed off every avenue with only the slimmest of opportunities when the European Jews were being shipped to slaughter houses where they were dealt death with assembly line efficiency by the Nazis during World War II. Even after the War the British continued to impose strict limitations such that their promise to the many Arab states and royalties demands that the Jews never be permitted to realize a majority of the population in the British controlled lands west of the Jordan River and thus never being capable of meeting the set requirements for the founding of their state. It was due this predicament that a compromise was reached despite British casting their votes and lobbying the other nations in the United Nations General Assembly to vote down Resolution 181 (Partition Plan of Palestine) which proposed to divide the lands west of the Jordan River in half granting each patrician one to the Arabs and one to the Jews for their state. The division (pictured in the map below) granted the Jews lands made up almost two-thirds being parts of the Negev Desert and granting the Arabs the most fertile lands, all the higher Judean Hills overlooking this coastal strip of Jewish land around Tel Aviv and the majority of the Galilee with Jerusalem under international control but completely surrounded by Arab land which would likely have resulted in their taking control of all of Jerusalem with only the most minor threat of violence before and international forces would pack-up and go home. One could hardly have designed a more advantageous division of land setting the Jews up for a very short existence but for reasons we will never know or understand, perhaps it was the divine intervention of Hashem, the Arab League voted against the plan as they would not accept even a truncated and completely undefendable Jewish State and by voting the plan down and the Zionist Congress agreeing to the plan the default became the lands west of the Jordan River would become the Jewish State, just as the British promised but had worked so tirelessly to prevent.

UN Palestine Partition Versions of 1947 and included within UN General Assembly Resolution 181 which was rejected by the Arab League negating the UN Resolution as if either side rejects such a UN Resolution which is non-binding, it invalidates the entire agreement rendering it mute from that point forward. Jerusalem was to be managed by a corpus separatum (Latin: “separate entity”) set up consisting of an international groups most likely to be rotated. This offer was accepted by the Zionist Congress but having any General Assembly Resolution accepted by one side and rejected by the other is simply one hand clapping, useless.

The evening of May 14, 1948 the Jews and Arab friends celebrated and the next morning went to war with a dozen aircraft, most without guns and few bombs often dropping seltzer bottles as they whistled as they fell and made a very satisfyingly loud pop when they struck ground; a few small tanks and armored up trucks and cars, a fair number of rudimentary or antiquated rifles and submachineguns with little hope of survival. During this war of survival, from the Jewish side of things, they often had arrivals from the refugee camps, many still emaciated from the concentration camps where they managed to survive. These Jewish refugees found they no longer had any home to return to and had heard of entire areas where returning Jews were shot on sight rather than have to face them and tell how their homes, businesses and belongings had been redistributed. They arrived and went straight from the boats to the front lines, some holding rifles not even knowing how to fire them even being shot without ever taking their rifles from safety to firing setting yet they sang Psalms as they advanced. This lack of training combined with a simple wish to defend the land at any cost was one of many difficulties corrected but which made the first weeks the most dire and treacherous. Lessons were learned and even better arms were procured with the main provider of weapons coming from a place which identified with the Jewish State as they had been the sacrificial lamb for expediency leading up to World War II, the nation of Czechoslovakia. Eventually an armistice ended the active war and Israel mourned the loss of one in ten Israelis. This end to the conflict would not remain settled indefinitely. In 1967 Egypt and Syria attacked Israel from top and bottom and on day two the Jordanians entered the war despite warnings and pleadings from Israel warning them the broadcasts from Egypt and Syria about their closing on Tel Aviv were false; but the Jordanian King thought the Jews were attempting to trick him and he was not to be denied his share of the spoils. The spoils were shared when the world demanded an end to the Six Day War where Israel liberated lands she had lost in 1948 which included the Golan Heights, Eastern Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and Gaza plus gained the lands of the Sinai Peninsula which is almost five times the size of Israel. This also placed Israel on one bank of the Suez Canal, a vital waterway, and also one side of the Straights of Tiran which guaranteed freedom of entry to the entire red Sea and access to the Arabian Sea and thus the Indian and Pacific Oceans and trade with Asia. It was the blockading of this important waterway which caused the Six Day war along with the massed armies by Syria and Egypt on the Israeli borders. The Syrian and Egyptians opted for a replay in 1973 but this time Jordan wisely decided to sit this round out. This was the Yom Kippur War in which Israel almost lost it all in the opening hours but regrouped and eventually was racing towards Damascus and had crossed the Suez Canal using the same bridges the Egyptians had used to surge across initiating the conflict and were heading for Alexandria and Cairo when the United Nations, Russians, United States and darn near the entire chorus of nations screamed “Stop!” Israel was duly chastised for taking advantage of the situation and was persuaded, it could be called threatened just as easily, to return to the demarcation lines from the previous armistice at the end of the Six Day War and return all gains as if the entirety of the conflict had not occurred.

The Arab world learned some dear lessons and different lessons were taken from these difficult conflicts. Egypt would be the first to strike a peace with Israel. This peace involved the return of the entirety of the Sinai Peninsula and the surrender of Gaza back to Israel as it had been occupied by Egypt and never actually annexed. Jordan was next to make peace and they too returned the lands they had occupied with one difference, Jordan had also annexed the lands and granted the citizenship to the Arabs living in the areas of Judea and Samaria which Jordan renamed West Bank; I guess Judea just sounded too Jewish. Jordan also forced the Jews living in those lands to relocate back into Israel taking their homes and anything they were unable to carry with them after their taking the lands in 1948. This presented an interesting option that of course Israel was never allowed to contemplate, let alone actually actualize it, namely the Arabs residing in Judea and Samaria were now Jordanian citizens and as such could have been given the same treatment the Jews received when Jordan took the lands from Israel in 1948 and be made to relocate to Jordan across the Jordan River. This act would have saved the world a ton of pains and displeasure, though I often get the feeling the world, with a few choice exceptions, get a great deal of pleasure in Israel’s woes. So, to reward Israeli kindness in allowing these Jordanians to remain in their homes, keep their fields, groves, flocks, businesses and other properties and not forcing them from the liberated lands, the world gave them a foreign name changing them from Jordanians to Palestinians. Where the name Palestinians came from depends on who you ask. It appears to have come almost literally from the Roman name for Judea imposed after the Jewish revolt by Bar Kokhba which succeeded from132 through 135 after which the Roman Emperor Hadrian changed the name to Syria Palaestina, after the Roman pronunciation for Philistine, the ancient Jewish enemy long extinguished from the Earth who were a sea-faring nation originally from the Grecians Isles, and Jerusalem to Aelia Capitolina, thus Palaestina became Palestine and the Palestinians. This invented peoples who genetically, historically, socially and in all means other than geographically and with many having families residing from their originating lands of Syria, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Iraq and the other Arab nations were the concept of the KGB as the Soviet Union’s as part of their opposition to everything Western during the Cold War with the United States which made Israel their sworn enemy and as she was surrounded by the Soviet’s allied Arab states she was also apparently the low hanging fruit. Since the frontal assaults of 1948, 1967 and 1973 failed, the Soviets opted for a more nuanced approach where instead of the Goliath Arab world fighting little Israel it was recast as the Goliath IDF against stone throwing powerless Palestinians who were not related to any of the Arab world and had resided in the land which the Jews had stolen since the time before time. Any claim was conceivable as everything about the Palestinian people, state, history etcetera was cut from whole cloth and from the imagination of KGB operatives who were the coworkers, maybe not directly but for the same bosses, as Vlad the Invader Putin, so imagine your worst and they probably could best that and from the way the world acts now, their plans are working even after the Soviet Union collapsed such that it makes one wonder exactly who does this pretense serve now? Answer me that, please.

Palestinians on Their Way to Negotiate with Israel
Demanding Their One State Solution Sans Jews

So what does all this history and histrionics prove? All it proves is that Israel today had the borders defended by the IDF which are presumably by all treaties, conferences, history and original context are exactly as they should be and if any group within is not satisfied with this fact, they have two options, cry a lot and be very unhappy or move to someplace where they will be more comfortable. They will decide not to move as where are their choices? Syria? That would be just a tad crazy. Lebanon? Iraq? Not likely as they are Sunni and not really anxious to step into the middle of a Sunni Shiite war. Saudi Arabia? Kuwait? Well Saudi Arabia would be insulted as they send lots of oil dollars to these very same Arabs so they can kill and otherwise inconvenience Israel and possibly reclaim Muslim land for the greater glory of Mecca and Medina which are in Saudi Arabia and the Kuwaitis threw them out after Yasser Arafat backed Saddam Hussein after he destroyed Kuwait and killed many Kuwaitis during his all too long occupation of that nation eventually liberated by a coalition of the willing or some such nonsense. It was the United States and Western allies who did the major fighting. Egypt? They would not be welcome there as they are considered to be not all that different than the Arabs in Gaza which currently are causing Egypt headaches and security risks. Simply stated, the rest of the Arab world had forsaken the Palestinians because they have been turned into viscous murderers largely and their school system teaches only hatred and violent jihad which would only cause whatever nation and its government heartache and revolts and little else. The Palestinian Arabs have been trained for the past twenty years plus to murder Jews and demand special favor and act in as anti-social a manner as any peoples could imagine. They are bred on discontent and the destructive actions which bring only hardship upon their own people as they must be all but quarantined from the rest of the society which might actually desire to live productive lives free of senseless violence. This can be witnessed by visiting one of the many companies and manufacturers the European Union just voted to label their products in a move they hope will result in lost sales and income which will only hurt the very Palestinian Arab people they claim to be aiding but who work side by side with Jews in these companies and many of these Arabs are managers and have positions with Jewish workers under their direction with no friction and great cooperation, the way it would be without the instigators. But this was the hope of not just the Soviet Union when this plan was hatched but also the darling of the Arab and much of the Muslim worlds as they demand that the land of Israel be denied all but the Muslim Arabs who once held it under Suleiman and under the Caliphate and then the Ottoman Empire thus cannot be permitted to be lost to any other peoples to rule. The Jews must be made to respect their Islamic betters and be subservient Dhimmi and accept their abasement and degradations which are to be heaped upon them until they accept servitude and being a class beneath full humanity. The choice the Arabs demand of the world is either Israel or the Arabs rule and until the Jews are brought down the Arabs will rise against them. In the end, as we have stated before, in the end there can be only one. For as long as Israel can stand, that one will be the Jews protecting and defending the lands promised Abraham, guaranteed by the League of Nations, the British Crown, the United Nations and International Law. Those are the realities and the truths which anyone who studies the history is fully aware, but too many are frightened to stand with Israel as that might make them a larger target for terrorism though not standing with Israel has not prevented terrorism either. The world can line up with whichever side they wish, for us, we choose Israel.

The War Israel Lost the War Israel Must Win

Ever since the ideal of restoring the Jews to their ancestral homelands was hatched in the mind of Herbert Samuel, a British Zionist, back near the start of World War I, after the Ottoman Empire entered the war by opening fire on Russian ships in 1914, little actually went forward until David Lloyd-George was introduced to Chaim Weizmann for the actions to start rolling. It was eventually recognized that this as likely an opportunity to obtain a Jewish homeland as part of the war effort. These efforts never quite amounted to much partially because more serious efforts were in motion by a memo he wrote, after gaining some respected positions in the Labor Government, to the British War Cabinet entitled “The Future of Palestine” calling for the opening of Palestine to unrestricted Jewish immigration the Jews would soon outnumber the Arab population making a Jewish State possible. Herbert Samuel would later be appointed as the first Commissioner of the British Mandate in Palestine, likely in recognition of his earliest efforts. Samuel had hit upon what would constantly serve as the roadblock which the English worked diligently to retain, the existence of an Arab majority as initially, despite there being a majority population in Jerusalem, a city does not a nation make, the Jews were outnumbered by about 100,000 against a total of perhaps 600,000 Arab Muslims and Christians. As history would have it, soon after it had appeared that Herbert Samuel’s efforts would have gone for naught, a flicker of a spark was ignited in the British War Cabinet. Was this due to some discussion of Herbert’s memo or purely as history portrays the events we will never know for sure.

Eretz Yisroel from back in the time immediately after Exodus and before the additional conquest by King David and King Solomon with the original division of the lands between the Tribes covering both sides of the Jordan River. The Israelis and Jews in general could attempt to demand that Eretz Yisroel, the Land of Israel be made whole as was First Apportioned by Hashem.

The Israelis and Jews in general could attempt to demand that Eretz Yisroel, the Land of Israel be made whole as was First Apportioned by Hashem.

The British War Cabinet hit upon an idea which might ignite support from influential Jews if it was announced that there were plans for the return of the Jewish People to Eretz Yisroel, to their native homeland from which they had been separated for almost two-thousand-years. This plan to win over by goodwill of the Russian and American Jews may have had an effect but insufficient to retain Russia in the war effort which had been the main pillar of the plans. As the plan proceeded, it was here that David Lloyd-George was introduced to Chaim Weizmann, one of the leading figures in the Zionist Movement. This led to the eventual inclusion of Lord Balfour and the rise of David Lloyd-George to Prime Minister and Lord Balfour as Foreign Secretary were the right people in the necessary position to put into motion the plan of David Lloyd-George which he believed that only by introducing the Jewish People back into their lands could the lowland, the Galilee and other areas be transformed from the malarial wasteland it was into the Land of Milk and Honey. This was all part of what Lloyd-George had written in, “The Jews and Palestine”, of 1923 which was the precursor of the Balfour Declaration. The rest up to today is history. The Balfour Declaration, the San Remo Conference, the British Mandate, the Churchill White Papers which took the seventy-eight-percent of the British Mandate east of the Jordan River and fashioned an Arab State under the rule of the Hashemites while additionally guaranteeing the remaining twenty-two-percent of land west of the Jordan River to be inviolate as the homeland for the Jewish People. We will see how well that promise was kept by the British who never met a means they didn’t like by which to disarm the Jews and give those confiscated arms to Arab militias commanded largely by the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem Haj Amin al-Husseini during the war of genocidal intent to slaughter every last Jews by the bullet, bayonet or by drowning them as driving them into the sea.

The promises and guarantees did not interfere with allowing the British to vote against the plans to grant the Jews their own state, even in half of what the British guaranteed, nor did it prevent their immediately recognizing the lands stolen by the offensive war against Israel the day of her founding, those of the Judean and Samarian lands taken by offensive war Jordan renamed West Bank, which was an occupation, this technicality is very important for what is about to happen in the near future if reports are correct. The Egyptians also stole a strip of land we know as Gaza which was also an occupation. Gaza must remain a separate entity as Israel left the area turning it over to the Palestinian Authority who lost it to Hamas and Islamic Jihad and now neither Israel nor Egypt desire to have anything to do with Gaza beyond restraining their efforts to receive heavy weaponry. The war in which Israel lost the Golan Heights to Syria, the Gaza Strip to Egypt and a large section of Judea and all of Samaria to Jordan is celebrated by the name the Israelis euphemistically called it, the Israeli War of Independence which is celebrated as a victory. Such is understandable because had the Israelis lost completely there would have been no Israel and a large number of Jewish corpses beyond the ten percent of the population which fell in the fighting. Any other nation would look at such a war where they lost almost a quarter of their land to their enemies would claim to have lost that war. There is a more rational way to look at Jewish history since the Romans spreading the Jews throughout their empire in an attempt to destroy the Jews just as they had done others such as the Carthaginians. This began the existence of the Jews throughout the world in what Jews refer to living in the diaspora.

Ever since the Jews were relegated to living in distant and separate communities, often at the comfort of their hosts, the Jewish People have held two things sacred. First was that at any time Hashem would call them to return to their ancestral homelands and rebuild the Holy Temple for Hashem to return to rule from his celestial throne in the Holy Temple in Jerusalem (or wherever we are commanded to build the last Temple). This was a long conflict marked by disappointment after disappointment, marked by exile and persecution almost beyond the ability to count, marked by prayers expressing our hopes to return to our homelands, disappointment after disappointment despite there being a constant core of our countrymen and women often making up a majority in Jerusalem with other concentrations in Hevron (Hebron), Shechem (Nablus), the Galilee, Negev and throughout the Biblical homelands. There was the remainder of the time under the Romans which was just the last of a number of former empires including but not limited to the Persians, Greeks, and Assyrians. Things did not improve much after the Romans who were followed by the Byzantine, Islamic, Mongol, Ottomans amongst others finalized with the British. Despite being given a Mandate to assist in the formation of a Jewish state by assisting with immigration of the Jewish People, they always made sure the Arab population remained consistently the majority while the British expended most of their efforts inhibiting Jewish emigration and even voting against the formation of the state of Israel in the United Nations vote on November 29, 1947. Many might contend that the entire time for approaching two-thousand years that the Jews faced persecutions, pogroms, exiles, inquisitions and almost any imaginable distress, persecutions, forced conversions from both European Christians and Middle Eastern Muslims and Crusaders and Islamist forces in Northern Africa all finalizing in the declaration of statehood finally on May 15, 1948 with the Golan Heights, the Suez-Negev border, the Israel-Lebanon border and the Jordan River as the eastern border at the moment of that declaration, and remained the borders for a few moments which could be the declared end of the war for Independence by Israel and the Jewish People. What followed as soon as the sun rose was at least six Arab Armies plus numerous Militias in an assault intending to genocidally eradicate the Jewish homeland before it even had an opportunity to learn to walk.

This genocidal intent war effort brought by Israeli’s immediate neighbors as well as Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Yemen and other distant Arab states stated as their goal to drive the Jews into the sea and watch them drown either in the rivers of blood from the dead Jews or under the waves of the Mediterranean Sea. Israel cannot be said to have lost the war as Israel survived and a loss would have resulted in no Israel, but then again after losing the areas of the Golan Heights to Syria, parts of Judea and much of Samaria to Jordan and the Gaza to Egypt, Israel also cannot be said to have won that war and further this should not be referred to as the Israeli War of Independence as it was more the Israeli War for Survival, she had already won the last battles of a near two-millennium war for independence resulting in the declaration by David ben Gurion on the eve beginning of Iyar 5, 5708 or the evening hours of May 14, 1948 only to have a war of intended annihilation, genocidal annihilation the very daybreak following by basically the Arab League nations.

The Arabs attempted again in June of 1967 to drive the Jews into the sea. The Egyptian and Syrian armies massed on the Israeli northern and southern borders while Egypt had cut off all Israeli shipping through the Straights of Tiran which was an established casus belli act of war against Israel which led to an Israeli air assault as the armies engaged. The Syrian and Egyptian media were generating reports of great victories and that the Syrian and Egyptian forces were closing on Tel Aviv. The King of Jordan mobilized his military to get his piece of the great victory against the Jewish State. Israeli Prime Minister Levi Eshkol (Hebrew לֵוִי אֶשְׁכּוֹל) personally called the King of Jordan and attempted to convince him that the reports of great victories by the Syrians and Egyptians were propaganda and that Israeli Defense Forces were winning handily and routing both armies. The Jordanian King interpreted the Israeli Prime Minister’s plea as a sign of desperation proving how badly the Israelis were losing the war. History tells the tale as Israel liberated Judea and Samaria, the Golan Heights, the Gaza Strip and gained the Sinai Peninsula and had gained lands towards Damascus. Upon the end of hostilities which the United Nations with the assistance of the permanent members of the Security Council forced an end to hostilities before Israel captured any of the aggressors’ capital cities. Upon reaching a ceasefire the Security Council soon reached an agreement demanding that Israel return lands, undefined lands not described as any certain amount but also not demanding Israel return all lands. Part of this was initially seen as an admission that Israel would retain the lands liberated, namely the Gaza Strip and Judean and Samaria areas which were liberated from Jordan.

Over time and resultant from Arab billions spent on propaganda and the invention of a ‘Palestinian Arab’ as independent from the rest of the Arab world, a pure invention, such that Gaza and the areas Jordan had named the West Bank made up of the areas Jordan occupied after the 1948-9 War of Annihilation of the Nascent State of Israel which did not completely eradicate Israel but did inflict loss of ten percent of the Jewish population including Arabs who fought alongside the Jews against the invading armies. Proof of the ‘Palestinian Arab’ being an invention is easy to provide as a ‘Palestinian Arab’ was any Arab residing in Gaza or in the West Bank or any Arabs who ended the war as refugees whether if such status resulted from their fleeing at the Mufti of Jerusalem’s demands or resulting from the war itself are all considered to be ‘Palestinian Arabs’. Apparently a ‘Palestinian Arab’ can come from Jordanian areas, Syrian areas, Egyptian areas or have resided at any point after 1942 west of the Jordan River and not remained an Israeli citizen. So, let us imagine two Arab families from Beer Sheva who were neighbors. One family left for Jordan obeying the demands of the Mufti of Jerusalem while the other family simply remained in their home in Beer Sheva, did not take either side, did not flee to Jordan as requested by the Mufti under claims it would make slaughtering the Jews easier. The family that fled so it would be easier to murder Jews are ‘Palestinian Arabs’ while the family who sat on the sidelines and now vote in Israeli elections, work in Israel, go out to restaurants and live no different than the Jews in Israel though they worship at a Mosque in Israel while the Jews pray in Synagogues and that Arab family is punished by the Arab League and other Pro Arab groups including the PLO, Hamas, and even many Arab governments for not being a ‘Palestinian Arab’ like their former neighbors who now reside in a refugee camp in Jordan, or at least their descendants live in such a camp and are considered to be ‘Palestinian Arabs’ for all generations into the future while their former neighbors generations are Israeli citizens and can never become a ‘Palestinian Arab’, such segregation and exclusion.

The Oslo Accords were signed in 1993 which set Judea and Samaria areas held by Jordan but liberated by Israel in 1967 and held during the 1973 Yom Kippur War as well as Gaza as being the Palestinian Authority (PA) areas and the Palestinian Liberation Organizations (PLO) was given excuse for their terrorist past and transformed into peace partners. The Gaza and Area A of Judea and Samaria was designated as under complete PA control, Area B under joint PA Israeli control and Area C under full Israeli control. The initial intent which was spoken of but never written as the PA would go irrational and orbital at even the suggestion that anything which gave Israel or the Jews any rights was to be verboten. During the twenty-two years since the signing of the Oslo Accords the world has been sold the idea that if Israel would just offer the PA a fair deal there would be a deal within minutes and everything would be vundabar. What has been left out is the only acceptable deal that every officer throughout the PA know and speak of freely in Arabic, a language apparently impossible to translate into any Western language. The only acceptable solution is the complete liberation of all of Palestine from the River to the Sea, simply stated, the replacement of Israel and the eradication of the Jewish state and its Jews. Of course the ruling elites of Hamas and Islamic Jihad who control Gaza have one further addition they demand, the death of Jews wherever they may be, the final solution worldwide. The maps in the newspapers, on the office walls and in the children’s textbooks all show Palestine as replacing all of Israel. Students are taught from the day enter school to claim they were born inside Israel and are assigned their new home city even including Tel Aviv which in 1948-9 was almost exclusively Jewish, and these children take on this new identity and it is even enforced at home. But all of this is about to change as Abbas believes that he has the support for the next step and the final solution of the Arab-Israeli problem.

The reports claim that at his annual United Nations speech at the opening of the General Assembly Abbas is going to announce that the PA is being dissolved, the Oslo Accords are being declared defunct and void and that Palestine is now a nation occupied by Israel and he will demand the world’s assistance in removing the Jewish menace from his country and it receiving its long deserved liberation, and in case you cannot guess, liberated from the River to the Sea. What a surprise. He will not say that in so many words but he does not need to as the Europeans and all too many NGOs are already fully involved in the destruction of Israel and the formation of Palestine on the graves of approximately six-million Jews. If only the Israeli leadership will take this declaration for the declaration of war it actually is and simply win the war once and for all and push the ‘Palestinian Arabs’ back into their traditional homelands or simply give them to their cohorts who believe in the same Islamic world conquest, such as either ISIS or Iran, the sole difference is the tribe of Islam they wish to impose, Sunni or Shiite. This claim may be thwarted by demanding as is done every year in September that Israel releases thousands of murderous terrorists, establish a building freeze, or surrender more lands to the PA or perhaps have all the Jews residing in East Jerusalem and beyond the Green Line forced to resettle and all their lands and homes and crops be forfeited to the PA. This is just the next step in the original death of Israel in stages. The next claims will be for the remainder of Jerusalem, parts of the Galilee and likely the northeastern lands of the Negev including Beer Sheva and likely Dimona including the research nuclear reactor, but why not a nuclear armed PA, we are about to have a nuclear armed Iran and the Sunni PA could be the nuclear deterrent instead of Saudi Arabia, after all, President Obama has always had a soft spot for the ‘Palestinian Arabs’ a soft spot in a cranial location. For Israel this coming assault must be viewed as a declared war and the leadership must accept the gauntlet slapped across their cheeks and thrown to their feet and simply retrieve the gauntlet and return the slap and then turn and prepare for the final test of the lands which were promised under international law amongst other claims as the Jewish homelands, a promise we must defend or watch as all Judaism becomes a faint memory with a few scattered communities numbering a few thousand Jews at most within a generation or so.
