The news reports will say that three illegal settler structures were destroyed by order of the court early Friday morning. They try not to mention that it was early as in 12:30 to 5 AM early in the morning. It will be noted that there was resistance and that it was necessary to arrest six while four were injured. They will point out the order was signed by Supreme Court President Dorit Beinisch. They will fail to mention that hours earlier an injunction was issued to prevent the destruction of these three contested homes and those who favor throwing their fellow Jews out of their homes woke Justice Beinisch in order for her to overrule the injunction so the ambush could proceed. The original case against the houses was brought by Palestinian Arabs who had claims to land in the area and were assisted by Yesh Din lawyers. When it was found that the claims were not for the same properties upon which the houses were located, Yesh Din retracted their suit for their destruction. For reasons that have yet to be divulged, the court proceeded to order the destruction despite no longer having a complaint. The injunction was ordered to allow evidence proving the houses were on legally owned land and not Arab lands. But those who desire destruction of homes of certain Jews would have nothing to do with such trivial evidence, they insisted on their pound of flesh and they demanded it immediately no matter what promises had been given.
It does not matter of we are able to understand those who demand that Jews be removed from Judea and Samaria and the land gifted to the Palestinians in the name of perpetual peace. It does not matter that establishing the Palestinian State on all of the West Bank and East Jerusalem will not end the attacks as these anti-settler activists believe. It does not matter that many of those who believe that Israel must assist in forming a Jew free Palestinian State on every inch of area claimed by the Palestinians and will destroy Jewish housing are the same people who were in Tel Aviv demanding more housing for Jews. Those demands were for good Jewish houses in Tel Aviv, not evil settler houses on Palestinian claimed land. It does not even matter that Mahmoud Abbas, Salam Fayyad, and numerous other Palestinian leaders from every faction all claim that after they get their state on the lands conquered by the Zionist Entity in 1967 that they will then begin the work of liberating the rest of Palestinian lands from the evil Jews. All that matters are that the settlers among who many are religious or Zionist or politically on the right are forced from their homes which those on the left believe belong to the Palestinians. Truth of the matter is this is a political war waged by leftists, financed by European and Arab governments and other outside sources, against religious and conservative Jews and those who are waging this war in Israel for these outside interests do not care or realize they are being used to further an anti-Semitic campaign of legal terror against their own people.
The saddest part of this travesty is the soldiers and special police who are sent to carry out these grotesque orders. Until the soldiers and other enforcement personnel decide to end this by simply, as a whole, refuse to carry out any further demolitions, they are going to have to step back and look at what it is they have been ordered to do and simply say, “No more!” The excuse of we are just carrying out orders should leave a very nasty taste in the mouths of any Jew who uses them to justify their actions. I was just following orders was the excuse of most every defendant at Nuremberg where such defense was unacceptable, and it is unacceptable here as well. Enough Jews have been thrown from their homes before 1948 simply by those who were just following orders. They simply were doing what they had been told, by the Führer, by the Czar, by the Sultan, by the Caliph, by the Babylonian King, by countless edicts, leaders, rulers, laws and sometimes they were told by simple hatred and superstition. Israel was to be the end of just following orders being enough to throw Jews into the street, up against a wall, into the gas chambers, into mass graves. No more following orders, please, and end to this right now before one more Jew is traumatized, injured, or even killed just to follow orders.
