Khamenei Frightening Regret of Nazi Defeat

Iranian Supreme Leader and Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Hosseini Khamenei in a speech on September 18, 2016, while denouncing President Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani calling for more investment in the economy rather than increasing military spending also made commentary which was far more disturbing. Khamenei lamented the results of World War II and insisted that military spending continue to be the highest priority even if the people are made to suffer economic hardships as Iran must not suffer the same fate which was the fate of Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan. What makes this all the more threatening is for Iran to suffer such a fate would require their placing themselves in a similar situation threatening other nations to the point where warfare is thrust upon much of the world in a determined effort to resist the threat of world conquest be a single minded nation led by people determined to commit genocidal cleansing of the world of all who are not subservient to them and their philosophy, or in the case of Iran, surrendered to Islam, and that would be Shia Islam. Khamenei was disturbed by the forcing of Germany and Japan into submission and forced to be disarmed which was, according to the Supreme Leader, a humiliation which Iran must never be made to suffer. Khamenei lauded the IRGC (Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps) as the key to the success and completion of the Islamic revolution which was started in Iran in 1979 and is expected to enforce the Quranic call to conquer the world for Allah. This was the cause which Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ruhollah Mūsavi Khomeini set as the purpose of all efforts and dedications of the Iranian people onto perpetuity. Khamenei has reinvested Iran in the dreams and goals set forth by Khomeini thus making more than their names sounding so similar as so is their dedication to the supremacy of Iran and Shia Islam.

For most nations to be led by a dictatorial leader with dreams of world conquest there would not be any serious concern as it is unlikely that they could build sufficient military to potentially pose such a risk. Muammar Gaddafi often made speeches telling his people that their suffering would be alleviated once they defeated the nations oppressing them and denying them their rightful place as leaders ruling over much or all the Earth depending on his feelings of bravado on any given day. After pushing his terrorist sponsoring too far he faced a severe kick in the ego from the United States when President Reagan struck Libya responding to a Libyan terrorist strike on the “La Belle” nightclub in West Berlin which killed three people including one American Serviceman. The American and allies response came on April 15, 1986, in the early morning hours striking numerous targets throughout Libya including the Bab al-Azizia barracks, Murat Sidi Bilal camp, Tripoli military airfield, Benina military airfield, the air defense networks in Benghazi and Tripoli and Muammar Gaddafi’s house in an attempt to kill the dictator himself. Muammar Gaddafi, with his family, rushed out of their residence in the Bab al-Azizia compound just before the bombs dropped. The warning phone call came from Italian Prime Minister Bettino Craxi. Among the estimated sixty killed was one infant girl who was used as an attempt to vilify the American raid. Her name was Hannah and she was displayed before Western reporters with the claim she was the recently adopted daughter of Muammar Gaddafi. All things considered, this raid ended any claims from Muammar Gaddafi of Libya being a world leader and destined to lead the entirety of the world. Libya was never actually a threat to attempt world conquest and that claim was made to excuse a retrograde economy and the suffering of the population from the failed economic state. Iran has sufficient oil which as long as the price per barrel remains above approximately $50 to $75 Iran makes a profit from a percentage to all of their wells as their oil is thick and of poor quality thus costing more to draw from the ground. This is part, if not most of the reason for Saudi Arabia pumping out close to full capacity oil production to force the price per barrel below that $50 price. This has the additional effect of starving Russia from large oil profits and makes American fracking no longer cost effective thus having a deleterious effect on every oil producing nation with whom the Saudi Arabian Royals are having difficulties.

Still, Iran is currently cash flush thanks to the JCPOA (Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action), better known as the Iran P5+1 Nuclear Deal, plus other additional payments made by the Obama Administration with a reported four-hundred-million dollar payment for presumably a broken arms deal with the Shah and definitely not a ransom for the released four American hostages. But wait, there is rumored to be more as that four-hundred-million dollar payment for the arms deal has been rumored to have been followed by another payment more than three times that size; a staggering one-point-three-billion dollars claimed to be interest of the original payment. As this payment was delivered in a secret aircraft delivery in actual American cash, thousands of hundred or even thousand dollar bills, hard currency, something unimaginable but somehow true. One can only wonder whether President Obama is going to further finance the military build-up before leaving office, and if so, how much more will he send? Additionally, even by the assessment of President Obama himself, the Iran nuclear deal will allow Iran to be within a few months of attaining nuclear weapons status after the ten year deal expires and there will be nothing to prevent Iran from building a nuclear stockpile challenging that of the United States within a year or soon thereafter once the deal has expired. But don’t worry, Iran will have calmed in that time and will no longer be set on world conquest in a decade or so. Just because Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei just declared the need for Iran to be so militarily powerful that should they set out to conquer the world they will not end as did Nazi Germany or Imperial Japan and be humbled in failure a full thirty-seven years since the 1979 revolution when the military path was first set upon. Sure, of course Iran will be a happy and cooperative nation in a decade or two, sure they will, right? Well, time will tell.

Still, one has to understand that Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei is seventy-seven years of age and in unknown health as such is a very secretive piece of information. Besides that, in a decade he will be eighty-seven (higher math skills paying off) and even with good health that is an advanced age. There is a possibility that he will have stepped down and a new Supreme Leader and Grand Ayatollah have been selected by the Assembly of Experts (aka Council of Experts) and now setting the direction of Iran. There could be a turn around and the next Grand Ayatollah and Supreme Leader will decide that the economy and the lives of the people are far more important than the destruction of the Great Satan (United States), the Little Satan (Israel) and/or the Wahabbist menace of Saudi Arabia. You doubt this? But President Obama has set the hopes of the free world on Iran becoming another nation happy to be a member of the community of nations and live in harmony with the rest of the world including those mentioned above. Come to think about it, you are probably right and things will probably get dicey. How dicey will depend on what the rest of the world does and the outcome of the Islamic infusion into the Western World and whether they assimilate or set on conquest, and the reaction to whichever path is chosen. The leadership in the Western World and beyond over the next decade or two will be very important and revealing on the importance for the continued freedoms of the developed Western World. Why am I so seriously concerned over this outlook?

Debate One; Hillary the Destroyer

Hillary Clinton probably won the first debate hands down. She managed to make Donald Trump be on the defensive from the word go through to the concluding remarks. She used innuendo, smear, accusations and a steady diet of calling him a liar, cheat and some old favorites such as ‘bait and switch’ and ‘fact check’ this, that and the other. And where were we to go to fact check these presumed lies? Well, to Hillary’s web site where she had real fact checkers who were unbiasedly giving out the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. There was no way these fact checkers were from her campaign staff or that they might also need fact checking as they labeled everything Donald likely said, including the, ‘a’, ‘and’, ‘the’ and ‘good evening’ as being false. What was wrong with good evening, well it was not necessarily good and it was not evening everywhere the debate was being watched, it was 4:00 AM where I watched it and I have to agree that it was not good, I would much rather have continued sleeping. And I watched it again the past afternoon just to make sure no biases played a role in critiquing this as this is an editorial site, not the New York Times, which actually is also an editorial site. Hillary basically was a bulldog who had just been given a Donald Trump chew toy soaked in gravy.

Donald appeared startled by the initial assaults and the torrents which followed. He appeared to have believed the debate would be civil. He was the obvious non-political hard-nosed attack drone. He was also the obvious target of exactly that. He tried defending himself and was often reminded it was Hillary’s turn to defame and he should take it like a good little chew toy. Trump missed almost every opportunity to attack Hillary and often to do so with substance. On cyber security her e-mails hardly were mentioned. On policy there were slight mentions on her foreign policy disasters and her lack of fixing anything in her thirty years in politics, though much of those thirty years she had accomplished being her husband’s defense against charges of severe womanizing and even rape and of having attacked viciously any woman who claimed any improprieties. Trump never mentioned Benghazi and stuck mostly to Libya and Syria and did accuse her and President Obama of setting the stage for the formation of ISIS and then remaining inactive when it could have been destroyed early on. She blamed George W. Bush for setting the date for their pulling out the troops and Iraq for not delivering on demand at the twelfth hour guaranteed protection of American servicemen and women which they simply accepted without any form of argument or rebuttal demanding or even pleading, they simply responded, OK, we will leave if that is what you and your Iranian minders desire as we would not desire to impede Iran in taking over most of Iraq as we are actually Iranian Manchurian candidates and work for them. On Iran, Donald Trump did hit Hillary on that deal which was not entirely true as the final mess was more attributed to John Kerry, her successor, and President Obama.

When All You Have is Some Simple Slogan, that's it!!

The theme for the night was largely Trump is a liar and not allowing him the latitude or grace granted Clinton. She was granted far wider interruption rights and running over on her two minute limit, or it seemed so while Trump was more often remanded for interrupting and being informed it was Hillary’s turn and he need be quiet before he would be made to go sit in the corner. The moderator remained otherwise fair until the closing moments when Lester Holt joined in with Hillary Clinton in demeaning Donald Trump accusing him of womanizing, spookily hanging around beauty pageants, and calling one contestant a ‘pig’ and a variety of other misadventures and attacks, verbal in nature, against women and general debasing women. This came conveniently soon after accusing Trump of racial segregation in a housing project and being taken to court over the racial profiling and rejection of minorities. What was removed was context. Donald had just been given these properties to manage, he settled the case, ended all such profiling across the board and has never shown any racial, religious or other such improprieties in anything he has done his entire career even when advised it would make business sense to do so. Both accusations were low blows and the womanizing came when he would not be allowed a rebuttal and to have such come from the facilitator of William Jefferson Clinton’s career womanizing and proven improprieties was beyond surreal.

Here is our advice for Hillary. Try appearing more human and that smile does not have to be there all mechanoid-like as if it is programmed onto your face. Do not be so stiff in your movements as if you are constantly running through facts and figures looking up your next line to speak and what defamations from a list fit the subject to lead off with and which one to close with as there must be an attack at the front and back of each segment to prevent Donald from refuting both or if doing so not being able to give his positions any fleshing out in his allotted time. Relax some and use different meters when talking otherwise you may start rumors you were home with pneumonia and that was an advanced attack drone or android in your place. Furthermore, the world is not your enemies with the only trustable people are those paid to take your side. Try a smidge of humor every now and then as that is what a normal person does and most politicians attempt to emulate normal human beings. Lastly, breathe between sentences as otherwise we are back to the robotic android appearance. We can live with the never let up and always attack, attack, attack until the target resembles pancake batter. Continue stressing your plan to tax the rich and give to the rest claiming the Robin Hood award for generosity (though Robin Hood stole from those who were ruling and taxing the poor and gave it back to the taxpayers, not exactly your plan but most people are unaware of this and only know the song where he took from the rich and gave to the poor never mentioning the rich were the government of the time).

Here is our advice for Donald. Spend less time on defense and more on attack. Hillary has more faults than California and some of them can and will cause the BIG One. Bring these faults up regularly with one somewhere within each segment and they can and should be repeatable and used more than once. Benghazi, that is one of the most touchy. Always mention and remind people that Hillary’s tax the rich includes households making a combined income of over fifty-thousand dollars and that the middle class to her are those making under twenty-four thousand a year households which pretty much rules out all married couples where both work. Allude to the fact that should she raise the minimum wage to $15.00 an hour that that would make a household with two minimum wage workers borderline wealthy and that it will cost around half a million in lost minimum wage jobs. Point out how you will be best served should the minimum wage be increased to $15.00 an hour to replace as many minimum wage workers with automated systems and thus have zero minimum wage employees and that Wendy’s and other fast food restaurants are already heading in that direction out of fear of such a minimum wage increase. Pound her berating Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu for over half an hour demanding he surrender to President Obama’s disastrous plan to make the entire West Bank into another Gaza and give the land away without a single guarantee except that President Obama and Hillary promises that the Palestinians would behave nice, despite Mahmoud Abbas promises to do the exact opposite and continue the terror attacks. Bring up her disgraceful defense of President Clinton and his known sexual escapades and mention Monica Lewinski, Gennifer Flowers, Eileen Wellstone, Paula Jones, Kathleen Willey, Juanita Broaddrick, Dolly Kyle, Sally Perdue, and Elizabeth Ward Gracen. You have played the gentleman, now play the respectable man who is simply telling truths and not attempting to hurt this poor, innocent, defenseless woman. Use facts and invite people to fact check your accusations themselves and not rely on your or Hillary’s so-called fact checkers as they are paid employees, both yours and hers. Take a slight hit to give an even bigger one and take away her check my fact checkers as they are honest to the last dollar spent on them. Remember the disasters such as ISIS, Benghazi, Libya in general, Syria, the Red Line fiasco with chemical weapons with Bashir al-Assad, demeaning the Israeli Prime Minister, the Iran Deal, and of course the e-mails, their erasure when a court ordered them turned over, and how any regular citizen would be spending life in prison if they skirted justice and flaunted her refusal to obey the court and get away with it.

“What difference, at this point, what difference does it make?”

Our advice to the American People is for them to watch all the debates, even the Vice-Presidential debate and choose wisely as more than the United States rests in the balance of their choice. There is a force reawakening and the last time it awakened it almost conquered Europe if not for two battles in different times and places, one in Tours on October 10, 732, where the hero was Charles “The Hammer” Martellus (Martel) and the other two hundred years later give or take at Vienna on September 12, 1683, where the hero was King of Poland John III Sobieski. Now Europe is almost lost and if they are to make a comeback it will require a number of dedicated changes and new leaders in the mold of the Dutch Parliamentarian Geert Wilders, actress Bridgette Bardot and others and once again the great assistance from the standard of freedoms, the United States. Yes, America will likely be called to save the western Liberal World once again and hopefully this one will be the last though that may never be possible.

American Election, Self-Absorbed, Ignoring World Crises

Spend time reading the distressing news coverage of the upcoming American elections and the subjects vary from the superfluous to the mundane all the while ignoring anything more serious than illegal immigrations from Mexico or the American economy. Most of the coverage zeroes in on misspeaks and gaffs while attempting to gloss over Hillary Clinton’s e-mails and ignoring all things concerning foreign policy, especially her time as Secretary of State, Benghazi and the loss of four American lives including an Ambassador, the Clinton Foundation contributions for favors potential scandal and any other foreign policy problems facing the United States, Europe or the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). This is nothing new as American elections are almost always about the economy, jobs and the manufactured crisis which usually activates in October and has been even given a name, the October surprise. Not all elections require the emergency October surprise which is usually targeted at one of the candidates to make them appear weak or unprepared while the other will receive a last minute bounce just in time for election Day. Even the political considerations are usually a secondary affect in the election and in recent elections it has become a popularity contest. One would easily believe that the elections are actually the American public voting en-masse for class president and not the presumed most powerful man or woman in the world. As long as the candidate is perceived as the most personable and least threatening, then they need only motivate their base and make a final push with slick advertising campaign using all forms of media including radio, television and internet, especially social media. The social media campaign is largely handled by younger voters and volunteers so whichever candidate has the greatest number of youthful volunteers has an advantage in the final push on social media. There is one final area of effect which comes from organized media including talk radio, television news and commentary, radio news and entertainment shows on both radio and television such as the Tonight Show, South Park, Saturday Night Live, Howard Stern and any and every entertainer imaginable. It has been the contest of personalities since President Bill Clinton played saxophone to prove his suitability and his being in with ‘it,’ and it all depends on what the meaning of it is, that may have pushed him to victory despite some negatives which had been hounding him. Some present that President George W. Bush was elected due to scare campaigns pushed on conservative talk radio which resulted in his election. President Obama has been all about the cult of personality.

All of this about an election between two people with the highest negatives ever coming into the election campaign and their final push. Many have pointed out that the choice is between a self-absorbed lunatic clown and a crooked untrustworthy liar. Talk about between a rock and a hard place; this election is truthfully exactly that. The choice is also described as total unpredictability against predictable deceit. Obviously the choices in the upcoming Presidential Elections in the United States could easily be said to leave a little to be expected better than the available choices. The problems were legion in the primaries of both parties. One party used power politics and back room dealings to force the choice to the promised one while the other permitted in numerous places anybody to vote and as they had over fifteen choices at the start. This permitted one to take an early lead due to name recognition and being the sole personality who received media coverage beyond any advertising the rest could manage combined. This led to both parties having regrets and second guessing as to whether the candidate they ended up with on their ballot was necessarily their best choice. With the candidates they ended up presenting, Hillary Clinton on the Democrat Party side and throwing out Donald Trump on the Republican side, both parties are limping with the choice they became stuck with. The Democrat difficulties were evident outside and within the convention in Philadelphia while the Republican problems have been far more evident as one group of party elites coming forward demanding some way be found to disrupt and intervene to block Trump all the way up to a vote taken in the convention rules committee where the elites were silenced by an overwhelming rejection of their attempt to release delegates from their obligations in order to get the selection past the first ballot and hope to then introduce a candidate the elites found more presentable and aligned to the party elites. The difference is on one side the elites cherry picked the candidate they desired to present while the other part the elites were shocked and dismayed by the choice which came from the primary votes cast across the nation. In either case there are going to be elites sore about the choice no matter which party wins.

Of all the items about this election, the hardest of things will be predicting who will win. We can count on one fact which will be soothing, polling will not be anywhere near as accurate as in the past as many of the voters only own cell phones so they may not be polled by robo-calls. Further, many younger voters are very difficult to poll and older voters are already telling pollsters that they will likely not be sure which candidate they will support until Election Day morning, some not until the levers are before them and still others have mentioned closing their eyes and never looking at the paper record as they prefer not to know. There has already been a perfect example of how horridly polling has proven. Donald Trump won primary after primary while polling kept claiming he was about to crash and burn and pull out of the primary elections disgraced and head hanging low. On the other side the polls initially claimed that Bernie Sanders would be a laughing stock and have little if any effect on the primaries which was to be a contest between Clinton, Chafee, Webb and O’Malley and if needed Biden could come in late and save the party. Bernie was not supposed to create the Bern yet had the primary system in the Democrat Party had been weighted more towards the voters in the primaries; he might have stolen the candidacy from Hillary just as President Obama had done. So, Trump was supposed to burn out while Sanders was never supposed to Bern. Go figure.

Presidential Rivals Not So Different on Far Too Many Positions

Presidential Rivals Not So Different
on Far Too Many Positions

So the election drive is lining up at the start line and the red lights at the top of the tree just blinked off and the first yellow bar is lighted and about to continue down soon to hit green in now in the middle of August and then the candidates are heading down the quarter year sprint with election Day as the finish line. Just as in a drag race, the start is more smoke than flashing down the track as they try to get initial traction and pull out first ahead of the field. We have a number of third party candidates with Gary Johnson representing the Libertarian Party, Jill Stein representing the Green Party, Darrell Castle representing the Constitution Party and a number of what can only be called lesser party and completely independent candidates. Yes, most, if not all, of these third party candidates and independents have no possible path to the Presidency for no other reason other than lack of credibility, lack of money and complete lack of media coverage unless they say something so ridiculous that it all but disqualifies them from the human race, then they would get one day coverage. So, the reality is by early November the world will know who to fear and what kind of fear they will have by the end of the third week of the new year. So, until then we get to fantasize and guess what will be coming in the next year when President Obama retires to write his memoirs and, if you believe rumor, work on his resume so he can be the next Secretary General of the United Nations. One thing for sure, Obama is still thinking big and the problems with him heading the United Nations are beyond imagination. What causes me to wake at night in a cold sweat is the thought of Obama as head of the United Nations and Bernie Sanders as President of the United States, at least I can put that nightmare to bed.

The talk shows and media have been having a field day with Donald Trump but after his last appearance he appears to have been forced by whatever means were necessary to follow a script to the teleprompter letter to the letter to the letter. This will provide the media with a very boring Trump for as long as his discipline holds out. Hillary Clinton, on the other side, appeared to have some very sticky legal predicaments until she officially became the Democrat candidate for President. Now the FBI, CIA, State Department and Attorney General’s Office are all in her corner and have been instructed to make everything disappear. Well, not so much disappear but more to pass along as not really all the prosecutable as technically things are not as clear as they may have appeared to the public and things are far more complicated than we the stupid old public could ever understand. There are finessing situations which demand delicate treatment and assessments so complicated with oblique and acute angles which are not actually complementary leaving room between legal and illegal and Hillary and Bill Clinton were playing in that grey area between the lines. Meanwhile, Donald Trump has said some wild claims and some were contradictory to earlier statements, as the media has made sure we heard about, and thus who knows where Trump stands on anything. That will be as close to honest reporting on either candidate as they will lie one into public menace number one and lie the other one into the White House if at all able. It is a sad day America has reached when the mainstream media takes sides on elections becoming almost a spokesperson repeating every accusation against one side while pampering the other. I would love to say the American Presidential race will be exciting but I cannot do so. I can promise that we will try and find things worthy of reporting or commenting upon but really this election looks like we will be facing more of the same for the entire campaign which will eventually become overly tedious. Imagine how our friends in the United States will feel as they will receive little if any real news between now and Election Day. For the average American the entire world just went black and nothing exists outside Hillary and the Donald. The world will continue on and things both good and horrific will continue to happen around the world but little will occur making the evening news as the election blanks out everything even if World War III were to begin, assuming it has not already.
