And You Blame Israeli Governance

 

Israel recently made a few adjustments incorporating Yisrael Beitenu into the ruling coalition permitting a more stable government, as the former coalition stood on the whims of as small as a single Minister changing sides. There was the assigning of a pair of Ministerial special assignments one of which granted the Defense Minister position to Avigdor Lieberman replacing Moshe Ya’alon who had been somewhat of a disappointment and had fomented mistrust of the leadership in the governing coalition and there were rumblings in Washington DC. There were the echoes of the whining made by the opposition here in Israel in the halls of the White House. We understand that you wish to destroy the Israeli Prime Minister simply because Bibi Netanyahu had the guts to oppose your gifting nuclear weapons to Iran, a regime which regularly threatens to wipe our nation from the map. Further, there are those in Iran who wish to remove the Jewish presence from the annals of history by murdering every last Jew on the planet, including Bernie Sanders, even with his opposition to anything Israel, that would not save him. These threats from Iran would also include your friends and anti-Zionist allies J-Street and a great number of donors to Democrat Party coffers every election cycle. You slander Minister Lieberman with claims that he is an extreme right wing crazy who only desires war when he has screamed for the opportunity to make peace at any reasonable cost. Then again, you continue to fund Hamas which also calls for the murder of every last Jewish man, woman and child on the planet, not just those in Israel. You back Mahmoud Abbas as our partner for peace despite his refusing your every request for him to take a meaningless step of just saying that Israel is the State for the Jews or give any other signal that there was even a crack of light shining through the door proving that peace was possible. Abbas all but spelled it out for you that the only deal he will accept is for all of Israel to disappear and the Jews dead. But you claim regularly as does the highest people working in the Department of State that Israel is the source of all the problems in the Middle East, Asia and Africa and that they are not sure but also in Europe and the Americas. About the only accusation which has not been leveled against Israel is that we are waging a war or causing one against the Emperors in Antarctica as if these Emperors are all penguins.

We understand President Obama and Secretary of State Kerry that you hold a great amount of animus towards Israel and even though nobody in our government would be so bold, we can demand that you end your maneuvering against the ruling coalition in Israel. We do not call for your replacement and never, despite your wild accusations and claims, did we even endorse candidates running against you when you ran for President in 2008 or when you ran for reelection in 2012 like so many including those in your Cabinet and advisors in the White House and even alluded to by you yourself. Israel, unlike the United Stated where the Democrat Party has regularly provided entire campaign specialists, companies and organizers to run the campaigns of the opposition to the current government as you did with the entire Presidential campaign specialists V-2015 headed by Jeremy Bird, the man responsible for your reelection campaign’s success. They were to assemble a door to door grassroots campaign mirroring your campaign success here in Israel and denying Netanyahu any hope for victory. Politics in Israel do not fit well with deceitful practices and your meddling may have actually assisted Netanyahu by giving many a reason to vote against outside meddling in Israeli affairs. But we are used to such as Bill Clinton dispatched James Carville and company to run another campaign which got Netanyahu defeated, a similar move to what you were attempting. Despite your campaign pointing that Israel was working to defeat you, Bibi did not even state a preference for you or Mr. Romney in the last election.

 

One last item we can bring up even if those sitting in the ruling coalition are too polite to mention, please just give your anti-Zionism and anti-Israelism a rest as you will be out of office soon and you do not even have the support of Congress when you try to act against Israel. There are likely officers throughout the United States military that if ordered to wage an attack on Israel would simply retire their commission and probably any number of troops who would face prosecution under General Courts Martial or at least an Article 15 for refusal to obey a lawful order rather than fire a single round at an IDF soldier. Do not feel dismayed when these would become verified by the members of your Joint Chiefs of Staff and the Pentagon as we have the same types of soldiers here who would never raise a weapon against the United States. Actually, if you ever wished to make a documentary on Israeli views of the United States you would find that the United States is loved here in Israel. The average Israeli believes the United States is the cream of the crop and Israel’s greatest ally, even after all you have done we still feel that way. When your name is brought up many will claim that anything you did denouncing or working against Israel must have had a great reason but that we were not privileged enough to have all the information. Then there are some who are not wearing blinders and know you, Mr. President and soon to be citizen Obama, for exactly what and who you are and know that you hold a special place for Israel in your heart and that is as long as that heart beats you will back anything which would destroy Israel. We know that there are many in the State Department and Foreign Service who would go to any length to hurt or cripple Israel. We know that when you or Secretary Kerry discusses Israel it is with the intended goal of its demise by any means. This may have, in part, made your granting Iran a path to nuclear weaponry, as long as they wait for six months after you leave office to announce their first test, with the intent on using them to destroy Israel. We understand and will celebrate your leaving office and know that even Hillary Clinton cannot do as much to damage the special relationship between the Israeli and American publics.

 

As far as your Democrat Party and the fact that compared to the Republican Party the Democrats are the enemies of Israel, the majority of Jews are leftists liberals first and Jewish somewhere further down the line and totally unsupportive of Israel in a large part. We remember at the last Presidential Democratic Convention that they voted down a motion to include friendship with Israel and that Jerusalem be her Capital City or the mention of Hashem, though you were going to use a more Christian name, in the Democrat Party Platform and it was only included because the chair declared the motion passed despite the obvious refusal by the floor. The proof is below for anybody to hear and bear witness with the video below makes obvious. We understand the soft spot you hold in your heart for Islam made obvious by your reference that the Muslim evening call to prayer as the prettiest sound you have ever heard and that much of that stems from your childhood in the Far East and your earliest education in a Muslim Madrassa. We understand your solid opposition to almost anything Israel which was also framed well by your relations over a twenty year span with the Reverend Jeremiah Wright and your friendship with the Minister Farrakhan and too numerous a list of your personal advisors and friendships. We even understand your otherworldly view of the United States and the evils performed by Western Colonialism and that you view Islamic colonialism as simply the natural order of the world and ignore the almost fifteen centuries of Muslim expansionism and colonialism as they have conquered and held much of the Middle East and across all of North Africa and are now making threats and moves to take over Europe by infiltration and use of their democratic governance to simply populate them out of existence. We understand there are leftists who back this Islamic takeover and that they are fools who believe that they will share power with the Islamic influences. They are as deadly wrong as any in the past who has had similar delusions. We also know that it will be up to the individual European citizen to awaken and save their continent or they will go the way of the Dodo bird.

There may be little that Israel can do as long as we are so opposed and maligned by the President sitting in the White House and many here recognize that should the next election produce a President Hillary that we in Israel will be facing four more years of your foreign policy regarding Israel. We understand that Bernie Sanders’s first appointment to the Platform committee on his way to providing the five people he has been allotted was James Zogby, a recognized, open, adamant and ferocious pro-Palestinian, pro-Islam and Israel hating individual who has called for the destruction of Israel. We understand that the Democrat Party which for so long has supported Israel is drifting away from that point and is soon going to completely go over to the other side. Despite this, there will be legions of leftist American Jews for whom Israel is more an annoyance than an issue for their support and that is their right and choice. What we also realize is that the Republican Party will continue on as the friend of Israel and that a large portion of their Christian supporters are also the best friends Israel could hope to have. Their advocacy has outshone many leftist Jewish organizations in supporting Israel. There are still some here in Israel who treat these Christians with some trepidation as they suspect that they have ideas of converting Jews to Christianity, let that be as it may. We should also know that the average Israeli is strong enough in our faith that such is not a real threat and for those who fear such apparently need to have a little more faith and confidence in their fellow Jews to stay the course as we have for close to three thousand years. After all, there may not be quite as many Jews as we have averaged throughout our history but we are still here as a testament to the love and power of Hashem and know that any apparent difficulty allowed to befall us was likely deserved as the Prophets had foretold of every single calamity and even our eventual return here to our ancestral lands a final time, and we are here to build a future that is the blessing of Hashem and we will tend Hashem’s garden here in Israel as we are meant to do. Our faith and Torah are all we need to survive even the worst possible events in America and hope that our mutual friendship will remain a central theme in both of our societies. That would please the vast majority of Israelis greatly and their desires in this area could prove to be a blessing for both nations and both peoples. We wish America well and will also watch, not meddle but watch the American elections this fall with great amounts of hopes and fears just as so many others around the world. The interesting thing is the Israeli society is split amongst the candidates and much of the discussions here are identical to those being carried in the United States. This can be proven by simply reading the English versions of Israeli media and very quickly such becomes evident which is another reason why the two nations were made to be allies. The last bit of interest is that the Founding Fathers of America admittedly used portions of Torah when crafting the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution including the limiting the power of a President such that they serve the people over other interests. May that become the watchword for the next administration as that too would serve both peoples and nations well.

The Disappearing Israel Should They Get Their Way

 

Swedish schoolbooks which have maps have no Israel written in Arabic and that have been distributed among school children in the city of Malmö, Sweden, the town where visibly being a Jew makes one a target for threats, harassment and possible physical violence which will not be pursued as a crime by the authorities. This is the result of further Arab pressures coming predominantly from the presumably cash strapped Palestinian Authority. Perhaps you remember them from a number of months back coming with their hands out, tears in their eyes with sobs breaking forth between the quivering pathetic whispers, very loud whispers, about being broke and the mean world which had not contributed sufficiently to their needy and worthy cause. The same Palestinian Authority which could almost be blamed for Europe’s insolvency as they, along with the United States and United Nations, provided them with billions, if not trillions of Euros and Dollars.

 

Meanwhile, UNRWA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine) is a separately funded agency taking care of only the Arab Palestinians set-up in such a way as to expand, not resolve the refugee crisis. It is a singular refugee agency separate of the main United Nations refugee agency, the one which covers every other refugees and has them settled or relocated usually within five to ten years, the UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees). It represents the United Nations Refugee Agency and is currently resettling the Syrian refugees and anybody else desiring to move from the Middle East and potentially North Africa to Europe, Canada, the United States and potentially Australia. There are a group of nations which will not assume any of the tasks for resettling these refugees and the others who accompany their flooding tide into Europe; which are almost any Arab nations, Israel, Japan, Mexico and a few others who either have security concerns or laws which prevent their taking in refugees. They prefer their borders not be inundated with foreigners and any who so manage to relocate and even gain citizenship still are barred from owning land. We should get back to the main point before we drift out of range.

 

There has been a steady and expensive political pressure and propaganda war against Israel by numerous NGOs and other groups and organizations all being coordinated out of Ramallah and indirectly the offices of Mahmoud Abbas, Saeb Erekat, Muhammad Abed Rabbo and a very well-funded, well-staffed and globally connected to support groups and coordinators spread world-wide with their main efforts in Europe, the United States and Canada. Their main coordination are with left and far-left groups and politicians along with the countable multitudes of those who just needed to know they were not alone in wanting that Jewish State destroyed. The numbers willing to join groups or organizations which peddle blood libels, some so dated it is difficult to believe, they are being recycled and believed here in the Twenty-First Century with an internet which one can search and would hope that the first entry would point them out to be lies.

 

Oh well, figured perhaps we ought to test this out first and we were partially correct. The blood to make special Passover Matzah first entry was informing that this was a lie and a very well-worn blood libel against Jews but it was followed by a mix of obvious hoaxes mixed in with some other actual believers. Why we are even the slightest surprised as the latest publication of Mein Kampf hit the best seller list within the week of its release. Further, the fact that in much of MENA nations (Middle East and North Africa) not only is Mein Kampf a perennial top seller but so too are the Protocols of the Elders of Zion. One has to wonder if the Czars even imagined that their little blood libel would outlive them by over one-hundred-years and be used to turn an entire continent and more into virulent Jew haters and that their every word would be taken as sworn fact. This all goes to answer those who claim that such things need not be discredited and their falsities are made public at every opportunity as nobody, or at least no sane person, would ever believe these obvious frauds.

 

Well, amongst the crowds where most of us live, work and socialize, that is true; but most of us never spend much time socializing with people outside our comfort zone. After all, when was the last time any of us spent a Saturday night at a biker bar off the beaten trail in Death Valley? Didn’t think so. Leave it that those who honestly believe such lies do not exactly check the validity of these spurious claims at Snopes.com and mostly hang with others who simply reinforce such lies as if in an echo chamber where such claims are repeated more often than we could ever imagine. Please trust that such people exist even probably close to wherever one might be reading this article as for all one knows somebody in the building or Internet café might very well be reading and surfing one of the many and unfortunately ubiquitous web sites or forums where the greatest evil threatening the world are the ever plotting Jews who control the White House, yes, even President Obama’s White House, as he was supported by APAC on many of his many signature legislative efforts, you know.

 

What has become frightening is that across many Western Universities a Jew wearing anything which identifies them as Jewish is very likely to be assailed and even assaulted. They would live with near constant beratements and insults. During any of the anti-Israel and anti-Zionist demonstrations such as the BDS protests (boycott, divestment and sanction), Israel Apartheid Week, Palestine Awareness protests, Naqba Week demonstrations, Palestinian Awareness Month and various other such demonstrations; these demonstrations are always well organized. Many have instigators trained on what buttons to push and what arguments to use to silence any Israel defender and one often used tactic is to have three or four such instigators to surround the pro-Israel person and all yell and threaten them until they retreat if only to seek safety at which point they point and loudly proclaim their victory and point to the shamed Jew lover. If the Israel defender attempts to speak, they are shouted down; and if screaming in their face and surrounding them does not intimidate them into disengaging, then the shoving where one will forcefully nudge the Israel defender pushing them just enough that they make contact with one of the others who then throws himself back usually falling and then screaming like a banshee about being struck by the pro-Israel defender and demanding loudly that their assailant be arrested. When the person walks away, the screams change to look at the shamed Jew, well, you know, see above. These and numerous other tactics can be used which can be referenced in “Rules for Radicals.” The rules have not changed, just the target. In the 1960s the target was the man as he had all the power, now the target is the Jew amongst the nations, Israel and the Jews by presumed association, as they are presumed to be the new power structure.

 

The proof is in the facts of how Israel has the undefeatable IDF (Israeli Defense force), nuclear weapons, and sits in control of Washington, banking, Wall Street, media, the European governments, the European Union and the most delicious of them all, the United Nations. Then there are the sins of Israel which are legendary such as their Apartheid laws as the Palestinian Arabs have not been permitted to vote since 2004 and two elections have been cancelled, never mind that they were cancelled by Mahmoud Abbas and friends who desired to hang on to power and control of the monies. Such things are left unspoken as they might ruin the whole house of cards which is the entire libels against Israel. Israel is also carrying out a systematic genocide against the Arab Palestinians, never mind the half to three-quarters of a million who existed in 1950 according to United Nations census and the current numbers approaching six or seven million. Those are some of the worst numbers if the Israelis have been carrying out a genocidal extermination as the numbers reflect so exactly the opposite that such an accusation would be laughable if anybody actually checked the claim. Then there are the claims that Israel uses disproportional force when they are forced into enforcing the rule of law or entering Gaza to put an end to Hamas and Islamic Jihad usually after their slow creeping increase in rocket fire into Israel targeting civilians reaching into hundreds each day, well past what any other nation would tolerate.

 

One could almost hear the numerous reporters when asking, out of sheer curiosity and perplexity as to the reasons that there were approaching two-thousand dead in Gaza and virtually no Israeli civilian deaths. These questions were lies on so many levels it is difficult to go through them without losing one’s mind. First, their count of the deaths in Gaza included Hamas and Islamic Jihad fighters. Second, they already knew that it was as a direct use of human shields and the effectiveness of the Iron Dome in protecting Israeli civilians. It was also because Israel used shelters and the public knew well the drills for when the Code Red alarm sounded while Hamas and Islamic Jihad used basements in hospitals for their headquarters, has sufficient tunnel space to protect every Gazan but restricted their use to Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorists. Israel placed units to protect civilians while Hamas and Islamic Jihad placed their rocket and mortar launchers adjacent to buildings used to house civilians who needed (not bomb-proof and simply better than outside) shelters, schools, hospitals and residential buildings. There was a strike which hit a Gazan hospital which immediately was reported to be the result of Israeli artillery or airstrike proved to be an errant Hamas rocket.

There was one absolutely ludicrous demand from the United Nations Human Rights Council following up its endorsement of the Davis Commission’s report on the 2014 Gaza conflict by insisting Israel must provide the Gaza Strip with Iron Dome missile defense system to protect the territory from rockets launched within the territory that fail to reach Israel which placed Gaza residents at risk. There was one reporter who asked directly why weren’t there more dead Jews, not even Israelis but actually Jews. The levels of hostilities shown Israel from amongst the nations of the world and the Jews as a people of the world are as shocking as they are revolting. The efforts to eradicate Israel, and in many cases those demanding the death of Israel, have every intent of following that up with the end of the Jews as a people. The Hamas Charter states such using a quote from the Hadiths quoting that the rocks will call out that there is a Jew hiding and for the servants of Allah come and kill them. Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of Hezballah actually in one of his speeches expressed how he wished that every Jew be moved to Israel as then he would not be required to go very far to murder every last Jew on the Earth. Sheikh Yusuf Al-Qaradawi stated during a speech, “The only thing I hope for is that as my life approaches its end, Allah will give me an opportunity to go to the land of Jihad and resistance, even if in a wheelchair. I will shoot Allah’s enemies, the Jews, and they will throw a bomb at me, and thus, I will seal my life with martyrdom. Praise be to Allah.”

As far as whether Israel could find Hassan Nasrallah’s various secreted locations, probably already have them pinpointed on some map just in case it becomes advantageous to remove Nasrallah from his position as the figurehead of Hezballah.

 

 

European Union and the United Nations have both at some point made such over the top, ludicrous statements either as a body or through individual offices or officers that they needed to back-pedal from their statement to avoid further embarrassment. The same can be said about numerous leftist news outlets from CNN, the BBC, to French Channel 2, to the New York Times and others have all been caught in outlandish accusations about Jews, Israelis and Israel herself. Then there is the famous exchange between President Obama and then French President Sarkozy (spoofed below by one of our favorite adapted images) as they were caught exchanging statements of Sarkozy, “Netanyahu, I can’t stand him. He’s a liar.” Not ever desiring to be outdone at anything, President Obama replied, “You’re Tired of him, what about me? I have to deal with him every day.” We wish that had said it all, but the American President has recently pulled out all the stops and has both barrels lowered and ready to fire and Israel is in those crosshairs. World Forcing Worst Possible Arab Israeli Final Solution

 

The United States Supreme Court finalized the Obama Policy referring to Israel by refusing to recognize that a Jew born in West Jerusalem was born within Israel. Does the United States government truly wish to be one of the early members of that extremist European solution to the Arab Israeli conflict where inch by inch they grant more and more lands which are within the Green Line to the Palestinian statehood claims simply because they are attached in some manner to lands the Palestinians already are recognized as securing in their ever growing two state solution, Palestine A and Palestine B without any Israel? There have been some extremist views expressed thus far in hushed tones that claim all of Jerusalem must be made the Palestinian capital and Israel forced to use Tel Aviv as their capital for as long as it remains left from the forming of Palestine. There have been hints towards including numerous purely Arab and majority Arab towns close to Jerusalem and in the Galilee into the declared Palestinian state. And lastly there is the Palestinian claim that all of the lands, and not one inch less, or millimeter for the Europeans, be returned to Arab rule and the Jews removed by any means which is most easily achieved. Pushing this inch by inch incrementalism can only end with one solution, and that is not a pretty or desirable solution by anybody’s standards. The original idea of granting an Arab self-rule in the lands lost by Jordanian aggressions when the Oslo Accords were foisted upon an unsuspecting Israel by a group of American and Europeans working with self-defeatist Jews seeking to make amends for defending their nation successfully from genocidal attacks by her neighbors, the original claims were deceitfully put forth as a small area in Judea and Samaria combined with Gaza having autonomy but without any military and reliant on Israel guarantees allowing for their protection from outside forces. Who or from where these outside forces might have been was ludicrous to even imagine but with ISIS running amuck that threat may finally have presented itself.

 

The problem with the stated goal of Oslo was that it was never intended to become the slow dissolution of the Jewish state by the Israeli apologists but was the concept of the Europeans, Arabs and some from the United States as the means for the destruction of Israel simply through ever more serious and threatening gestures of intent and faith in peace forced out of Israel gesturing her into her grave. Omar Barghouti defined the end goal when he spoke claiming that the entirety of the Palestinian and BDS forces had nothing to do with 1967 but was all about the occupation resulting from 1948. There were a number of difficulties for pulling such an incremental destruction to its finality which were overlooked but we will simply investigate a small but vital part. The initial problem was the expansive nature of one particular form of Zionism, religious Zionism which believed that the basic claim of the Jewish People to the lands between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea were the Biblical promise from Hashem that these were the lands by covenant and that we were the people Hashem chose to reside here in peace and security. This was presented by Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovely who raised more than a few eyebrows when she spoke forcefully and emphatically when stating that the Jewish claims to these lands originates in Torah. That, if one reads history and is an honest representative of those events, the main impetus behind the world’s acceptance for the renewed existence of the Jewish State was the ancient and Biblical claims to these lands by the ancient Hebrews, the Jews of Judea. Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovely was correct as quotations going back to the middle of the nineteenth century from Europe to the United States the idea was rising after the pogroms against Jews in Russia shocked the world and the call began to be made for the reestablishing of the Jewish State in its ancient Biblically defined lands. This eventually led to the Balfour Declaration which was internationalized word for word by the San Remo Conference which in turn was also approved letter for letter unanimously by the League of Nations and further transferred for enforcement by the United Nations in Article 80 of the United Nations Charter. History is now being channeled by some powerful and influential individuals who operate behind the scenes often using their wealth more than position to influence the results they desire; and one of the foremost of these results is the death of Israel and the end of Judaism as a religion of any merit or note in their vision of a perfect world.

 

I have often been inquired to answer why and what reasoning could lead this seemingly overt and near unstoppable pressure to destroy Israel and diminish the presence of the Jewish People in the world and potentially leading to the eradication of the Jews. My initial inward urge is to simply blurt out, “Why are you asking me?” But I stifle such an easy route and begin to try and figure out an easy manner which is understandable and still brief enough not to take up the rest of my life. The questioner more often than not tires of the litany and history necessary to grasp the enormity and depth of this conspiracy to end all conspiracies. The initial and most prevalent theories surround the Supersessionism as practiced by both the Christian Church, particularly the Catholic Church during the Inquisitions and Purifications and was also adopted by most of the Protestant Churches when they rose into prevalence, and the Islamic faith. Both religions preached fierce Replacement Theological Dogmas which in the case of Islam also targeted the Christian Churches, Catholic, Orthodox and Protestant, while both Christian Clergy and Islamic Imams preached their having replaced the Jews in the eyes of Heaven and in doctrine and covenant. These lessons often taught that the Jews being dispersed and placed at the mercies of Christianity and Islam was Hashem punishing the Jews for their grievous sins, in the case of Christianity it was for not following Jesus while in Islam it was for rejecting Mohammad. The ludicrousness of these complaints is obvious as, by definition, being a Jew automatically meant that one was not a follower of Christianity or Islam or they would already be Christians or Muslims and thus not Jews. For there to be a root religion now scorned of Heaven then there must be those who remain faithful to that root faith otherwise there would be no proof of the origins of these more recent faiths. But the initial hatred of the Jews was far more simple. The other tribes which the Hebrews passes on their journey out from Egypt in the Exodus were fearful as they had heard of the vanquishing of the Egyptians and the parting of the Red Sea and the Ten Plagues as well as numerous other miracles and successful engagements against those who had attacked them during their journey, thus the Hebrews approaching was something to be feared. For the Canaanites the threat was far more direct as they were the target peoples who lived on the lands the Hebrews believed was theirs by Divine right.

 

Such claims today would be interpreted as clearly aggressive behavior and a warlike disposition which would likely garner adverse reactions by the nations surrounding your intended conquest out of rightful fears. Back over three-thousand-years and the natural order of things was radically different, you kept what you conquered, plain and simple. Did the Canaanite Kings have a right to the lands they lived upon, yes, for as long as they were capable of defending said lands. History paints a different picture as they were unable to defend their possessing the lands and they were vanquished from the tribes of the earth. Were the Hebrews, and later the Jews, entitled to these same lands? Yes, providing they were capable of defending them. This proved problematic but somehow the Jews even after defeat would return and retake their lands and return to rule as written in Torah. The final blow, or should we say start of the most severe blow, was the conquest of the lands by the Greeks under Alexander. He, in turn granted rule of the lands which today are Israel to the Polemic rulers out of Egypt who in turn lost the lands to the Cyrenaic Greeks who in turn were conquered by the Romans. Interestingly, the Jews did manage to throw off Roman rule, even if only briefly until massed Roman Legions returned and attempted to teach the Jews a lesson. The second rendition of this lesson resulted in the dispersing of the Jews to the far corners of the Roman Empire as well as many being placed into slavery. This had been the Roman method for destroying a pesky and irritating people who simply did not conform and behave as expected under Roman Rule. The Jews had a secret by which they remained a viable people for almost two-thousand-years spent in the Diaspora spread across the globe, Torah. The Jews had a covenant with the Land because they had a Covenant with Hashem, and it was that Covenant which provided the nourishment serving as their religion, society, relations with others and Jews throughout the world and their life’s blood and center of their lives wherever they resided.

 

What is astonishing is that the Prophets had foreseen the periods and lengths of the three exiles from the Jews living in their own lands. Abraham knew of the four-hundred-year exile which was to be in Egypt while Abraham and Jeremiah who foretold of the Babylonian exile which was to last but a mere seventy-years. The final exile was warned about by numerous Prophets starting with Moses and was predicted the new nation of the Jews would be formed in a single day and that from that time until a final reckoning would be a period of miracles, and return of importance of Torah to all the remainder of the Jews and through Torah the Jews would survive until the coming of the Messiah which would be in its appointed time. The formation of Israel in a single day, as astonishing as it seemed throughout the ages as nobody could figure out how a nation could come into being almost as if by decree. Such was an impossibility until the modern era where such was possible and was exactly how the Jews were returned to Israel. What was another prediction by many Rabbis and learned individuals was that the Jews would find their way back to living a life defined and dedicated to Torah. I had expected that when I made Aliyah that Israel would have a much more importance to the study and understanding of Torah but I was not expecting such to fall into my lap as if made possible by Hashem, Baruch Hashem. Within two months of our arrival I had been invited to join a Torah class given in a really wonderful young man’s home and instructed by a Rabbi who had a great presence and forceful gentleness wrapped in a cloak of authority. I only was able to study with this learned and upright scholar for a short period as Hashem sent for him in what we here believed to be premature time but who are we to understand, let alone judge. We have a new Rabbi teaching our group, a man of humor and wisdom with many insights and stories of great Rabbis and Jews and their contributions to Jewish knowledge and life. He is warm and generous soul that we are blessed to be able to learn with him. He must have thought me irreverent when we first began our classes mostly because I am irreverent but in a disarming and amusement and not intended as disrespect and he has realized that this is my way of personalizing what I am attempting to learn. The extent of religiousness was surprising and I feel that it was also a blessing and that the use of Torah as the first and foremost reason for our right to these lands is the exact manner and direction our leaders should assume, though getting them on board will take great amounts of effort, a good deal of time and perhaps a miracle or two Hashem willing.

 

In the meantime we have European nations granting billions, and possibly combined, trillions of Euros to NGOs which in turn finance NGOs around the world and worst of all, internal to Israel. The Europeans have centuries of experience finding those Jews who are self-loathing and willing to work against their brethren just to be accepted in the ‘cultured’ world. These are the worst and most dangerous of Israel’s enemies. One cannot fathom why they remain living here if they hate everything about the people and the society as much as they must. If they find that European style society is so great and its allure so irresistible then move to Europe and allow the rest of the Israelis to live and love Israel as she is. Israel needs no alterations as Israel is the beloved of the vast majority of her peoples. We know you stay because from Israel you can be stroked by those who wish you and the rest of us dead and you believe they are your friends. May you never realize their true feelings for you as all you have achieved is getting to be murdered last. Stalin had a name for people such as you and, just as in his case; many of the useful idiots are the Jews themselves who work for the destroyers of Judaism simply to be permitted to catch a glimpse of their greatness. They are not great and the bright lights you have been blinded by lead only to misery and devastation. Their money does not equal love or even appreciation, only contempt for you beyond their hatred for all of us for they see you as the traitor to his own kind which makes you untrustworthy for what would prevent you from taking their enemies payments to undercut them were they to allow you into their midst. They recognize you for exactly what you are the destroyer of whatever society in which you reside.

 

Why do the European nations continue to spend trillions of Euros in their efforts to eradicate Israel and with it every Jews on Earth? Why, because that is what Europe has done since the Greeks banned circumcisions and forbade the study of Torah while desecrating the Holy Temple with pig entrails and other putridity. That is what Europeans do since the decrees of Rome sent many to be crucified, burned alive, and treatments such as was handed down on Rabbi Akiva which was torture so severe as to be unthinkable. The Europeans under Rome dispersed the Jews such that they would each die in their solitude, separated from one another and from any links to their homelands, but that was not a truth as each Jews still had Torah and with Torah, great hope. That is what the Europeans did on their way to the Crusades to assure that each Christian soldier had drawn blood and killed a man; they attacked and butchered Jews in their ghettoes where they were made to live apart from the rest of society, undesired except for their being practiced in the trades. Then the Inquisitions and the purifications arrived where Catholic fought Protestant and the separate Protestants had even fought against one another but all agreed that fighting the Jew was an act approved in Heaven for the Jew was the forgotten and cursed of all creations. The Christians were not to hold a monopoly on murder and denigrating the Jews as the followers of Islam also had their persecution of the Jews. They made them an inferior through dhimmitude and brought him low with the Jizya, a tax on the unbelievers of Mohammad. There were the wars between the Sunni and the Shiite which resembled the Catholic versus Protestant warfare as both Sunni and Shiite could agree that they might as well kill the Jews while they were cleansing their societies. There were the wars between the followers of Islam and the Christian Crusaders which traded rule over Jerusalem numerous times with each time the celebration brought the murdering of the other side which somehow also included the Jews residing near their holiest of cities, and this celebration of victory was not limited to Jerusalem but included every other city which had changed hands regularly.

 

Be their reasons religious or simply out of desire to steal riches or blame a calamity on the outsider, there was the Jew universally laid low whenever the situation called for a suitable victim on whom to heap scorn. It started even earlier with the idolaters who saw the Jews as being different and a threat. These Jews had a different way, an unseen deity an omniscient deity, a deity which scorned their ways of human sacrifice and the celebration of death mixed with their fear of death while the Jews took their own eventual death in stride and the rest of their days celebrated only life. They saw these Jews who claimed to be carriers of the light as competitors offering a new way which might catch on and threaten their hold on power. The Jews had strange mannerisms when it came to finding their kings and their kings were often outshone by a prophet, this idea that a ruler is not a deity in their own right was a threat to all kings. There was only one way to prevent these Jews from contaminating the thoughts of their kingdoms, so they would attempt to conquer the Jews and make his ways punishable by death and surely they will cower and be a threat no longer. That eventually led to the how dare these Jews persist and not die off like all other peoples.

 

The hatred of the Jews started early and has simply been enhanced and sculpted for the age in which it lives. Originally it was that the Jew brought ideas which threatened the idolaters’ way of life and their polytheism was also threatened by the Jewish deistic beliefs in a singular deity. Later and continuing even into modernity is the view of the holiness and sanctity of human life and how the human life is placed above all else in nature. That belief is a direct threat to the Earth Firsters and many of the eco-firsters who claim man is nothing more than a hair challenged simian. The seeming passivity due to their abhorrence to violence, especially the needless loss of life thrown into the battle as human shields, angers those who hold life and other human beings as precious and not as a lesser group to be sacrificed in battle just in case their presence in the confrontation will prevent their enemies from engaging. This tactic throughout history has seemingly had a greater validity when used against only two groups, the British and the nations produced by their colonies who would eventually decide to just kill everybody, and the Jews who continue to shrink from attacking where civilians will be needlessly killed.

 

This has been proven in many of the Gaza confrontations where a bombing mission has been called for a vital Hamas building and the warnings a full thirty minutes before the strike have been issued to all in Gaza, including Hamas, informing them of the time and building to be stuck. When the Israeli pilots arrive on their bombing run they see the roof of the building filled by women and children and thus abort the mission waiting to possibly strike it later. Unfortunately for the Gazans who are placed into such a compromised position where their lives may easily be forfeit simply relying on the Jews to be more humane than their enemy and believing that no target is worth that kind of killing of innocents as such tactics are not a guarantee as the mission may have been given to an artillery or armor division whose line of sight would not detect the innocents on the roof. Hamas, and also Fatah, PLO, Islamic Jihad and the rest of the Arab Palestinians, feel that even an indirect fire mission by the Israelis will often send a drone over the target right before firing on the position and if it reveals the innocent people in the target area, they are correct that Israel would not fire upon the target. This is the opposite of Hamas and the rest who target civilians as their first and foremost preferred targets.

 

But why do so many throughout history despise the Jews to such an extent? Well, probably out of a strange form of jealously combined with a perception that the Jews represent the ultimate other while murdering Jews has been historically acceptable probably partly because the Jews tend to stick together and are the permanent outsiders who only marry within their community which probably is another example of their feelings of superiority which anybody can witness after all that is what we have been taught as were our fathers and their fathers and their fathers before them back as far as one can remember so it must be a truism and, well, forget all the reasoning, the real reason is they almost never fight back. The fact that Israel represents Jews who not only fight back but prove victorious, well that is the one thing the perennial and historic enemies of the Jews cannot couch, a Jews defending themselves, that’s just not right. A small piece of free advice from a Jew who has fought back since day one, you’re damn right we fight back and plan to do so for the rest of time, so please just give us that which is ours and leave us alone. If the Arab Palestinian incrementalism continues to be pushed even if by the entire Arab and Muslim worlds and the Europeans and American and throw in the Asians and every other nation who is chomping for a fight, the Jews in Israel will fight back. All we desire is to be permitted to live in peace with the lands between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea and we will be content and will share any discoveries or innovations we uncover, invent, program or whatever else, that is the limit of what we require and given that morsel, tidbit, and area smaller than New Jersey and smaller than almost every nation in the European Union and definitely smaller than the twenty-plus nations in the Arab League, it is really a small price which will pay huge dividends, possibly the greatest being peace. Then the world can work to repair Syria and address ISIS and find ways to contain nuclear armed North Korea and soon Iran followed by who knows who else, but the future has sufficient challenges so there is no reason to look for one more by targeting Israel for any reason, period.
