Israel Unfortunate Choice Ahead Due to State Department

 

It has long been obvious that though the Pentagon, many on both sides of the aisle in Congress and throughout numerous other Cabinet departments and through numerous sectors and individuals in the United States support Israel and treat Israel as a friend. The animosity which originates from the Department of State sours much of the relations. Israel and the military and intelligence agencies share much information and their different avenues complement each other. There is a long history of Israeli innovation being returned to the Pentagon for incorporation on the United States equipment. One of the earliest of such improvements was what became known as the Super Sherman Tank which Israel redesigned the transmission, engine and upgraded main gun which prolonged the use of this weapons system for many additional years before finally being replaced in the early 1960s by the M60 Tank. One of the more recent and inexpensive upgrades came to the vaunted F-16 Jet Fighter which provided a means for the pilot at a glance to check his six, as looking for somebody coming up behind him as a threat is called. This upgrade consisted of attaching an extended automobile sport side-view mirror; the sport mirror was chosen to reduce drag. Sometimes the simplest of improvements prove just as valuable as retooling entire systems. Then there were the upgraded specifications to the Bradley Fighting Vehicle, many of which were eventually adopted by the United States. Israel also has often been the initial test case for United States weapons systems tests in actual combat, something the Israelis would rather avoid more of in the future but such is not always her choice. But even back in May of 1948 the State Department advised against the United States recognizing Israel when it declared its coming into existence as was also the advice of the Defense Department and virtually any Cabinet Member in President Truman’s staff as well as his closest advisors. One of the stories as to why President Truman went against such advice and recognized Israel immediately after their announced statehood was he was simply remembering the teachings his mother had instilled in him as a young child telling him the Biblical stories about the Hebrews, the Jews and the Exodus and that Israel was the Jewish ancient, and now modern, homelands. If such is a true story, then we thank Mrs. Truman, Harry Truman’s mother for such wisdom in raising her son while thanking Harry S. Truman for his fortitude in the face of raging advice to recognize the Jewish State.

 

An aside, does anybody know what the ‘S’ stood for as his middle name and the entire story behind it? Oddly enough, Harry Truman believed that all great men and especially Presidents had and always should have a middle initial even if they had no middle name from birth. Harry, for reasons unknown, chose ‘S’ for his middle initial though he never attached an actual middle name. This led some to call him, and not all that affectionately, Harry ‘S’ for nothing Truman. President Truman was also the President who first had a wooden nameplate which instead of his name stated, “The Buck Stops Here.” Sure is a far cry from recent Presidents who if they had a sign it would read, “The Buck Never Got Here and I Found Out About it Just Like Everybody Else in the News This Morning.”

 

The State Department animosities towards Israel is one item which cannot be laid at the feet of President Obama as the history of such difficulties may have started even before May of 1948 as they likely were opposed to the United Nations vote which suggested a plan by which Israel would have shared the sliver of land allowing for a Arab State next to the Palestinian Jewish State, as the Jews were called Palestinians in 1947-8 and on until the name was appropriated by Yasser Arafat in 1964 when founding the PLO (Palestinian Liberation Organization) which the KGB assisted in forming three years before there were any occupied lands unless all of Israel is considered occupied lands, the claim of the PLO, Arafat and his trusted number two, Mahmoud Abbas. The KGB wrote the charter and fashioned the PLO to mirror the same exact claims made by the Zionists except substituted Arab for the word Jew and even went so far as to adopt much of the Old Testament as being Arab and not Jewish history just leaving out the names but keeping the events in a manner. The KGB plan was to use the same tactics and arguments the Jews had made as the Zionist Congress which gained the promise of the world, including the leader of the Arab world, King Faisal I bin Hussein bin Ali al-Hashimi, when the treaty of the San Remo Conference was adopted as part of the peace agreements ending World War I and also affirmed, adopted and enforced by the League of Nations through the Mandate System all of which was adopted subsequently by the United Nations under Article 80 of the United Nations Charter. The KGB saw the advantage of making the PLO the underdog making the identical claims the Zionists had put forward starting before the dawn of the Twentieth Century dating back to the 1897 founding of the Zionist Congress, the culmination of Theodore Herzl’s dream and life’s work which predated the founding by some years and cemented by the Alfred Dreyfuss conviction for treason for which he was later exonerated and the actual traitors found out after a prolonged agonizing series of events which was heightened and succeeded in very large part to Alfred’s wife, Lucie Eugénie, and the support by Émile Zola who wrote the scathing article, “J’Accuse” on January 13, 1898 (see article below).

 

 

J Accuse Emile Zola critique the wrongful conviction of Alfred Dreyfuss of treason solely as a Jew he made the perfect scapegoat behind which the General staff of the French Army could conceal perfidy of one of their own royalties as anti-Semitism played a high motivating factor in belief that Alfred Dreyfuss was guilty as Jews were rumored to be of untrustworthy nature and not loyal to the state. This was played up in his trial but in the end Alfred Dreyfuss became the only man ever released and exonerated after being imprisoned on Devil’s Island Prison.

Meanwhile, the little trip to review L’affair Dreyfuss simply shows that the United States Department of State is anything but alone in possessing such a history and with the current tone and direction in Europe, and even signs in the United States, has company in the present as well. There are those when the largest challenge facing the United States was Soviet Communism claimed that the State Department was staffed primarily with Soviet Communist sympathizers or possible agents, which was given great validation with the trial and conviction of Aldrich Ames and Alger Hiss. Much of the rest of the attitudes of the public that there was a definitive Soviet strain running through the State Department also made sense as the people most desired and required by the State Department were people fluent in Russian and most of the applicants historically had been leftists which immediately sends up red flags (all puns intended) that large numbers of Communist populated the State Department. Now the emphasis for the State Department is the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) and Muslim nations including non-Arab states such as Iran, the Philippines, Malaysia and other Asian Islamic majority nations plus some of the Northern African and Horn of Africa Islamic nations. This has brought a number of Arabic and Farsi speaking individuals into the State Department and, as can be expected, the conspiracy theories are all about the Muslim Brotherhood, al-Qaeda, Iranian, Saudi and a myriad of other Islamic infiltrators taking over where the Communist infiltrators left off in the who has infiltrated the State Department paranoia. Of course one must keep in mind that just because one has paranoid delusions that one is not actually correct in their suspicions. With either theory, whether it be Soviet agents or Islamic agents infiltrating the State Department, either or both were not exactly close friends of Israel; one might even venture to place them as enemies of the Jewish State.

 

The suspicion that the State Department has a distinct dislike of Israel does not need much investigation to realize the reality of such accusations. Add the current White House and the fact that an Iranian born person is currently a close advisor to the President and the tracing of a small but not insignificant number of Muslim Brotherhood related, linked or having strings which lead to the Brotherhood individuals employed by the White House in different advisory and support positions explains the reasoning that President Obama had as his plan from day one to, in his world, “put some daylight between the United States and Israel,” and he has succeeded in this endeavor with great achievements. The President’s other claim upon entering the White House of making Iran a member of the clubs of world nations and placing them as the leading influence in the Middle East as well as the rest of MENA and, if the Iranians get their greatest of desires, far more including Europe and beyond. When President Obama initially stated his desire to bring Iran into the clubs of nations few expected at first that one of those clubs was the nuclear weapons club, one of the more exclusive clubs soon to become the fastest growing club with new members galore within the next eighteen months or less. The world may as well face the facts that unless another nation steps forward to enforce the Nuclear Non-Proliferation treaty (NPT) then not only will Iran be nuclear armed within the rest of the term of President Obama as they are highly unlikely to bet the house and the opportunity to become a nuclear power on the next President honoring the promises made by President Obama and otherwise treating them in the same vein as he treated those of his predecessors, President George W. Bush in particular. If this is the Iranian deadline one can bet that it is everyone’s deadline.

 

Meanwhile, the State Department is patting each other on the back for another fantastic success just like the success they made in North Korea. One need understand that the State Department is always shocked when the other side of these actually very weak agreements fails to even bother to take ten minutes aside and rejoice their victory before setting about to break every promise and stipulation in the deal they just signed. Perhaps if we made it a rule to sign all agreements the morning of the day observed as their weekend then their employees tasked with enforcing agreements would take at least the remainder of the signing day off before working to invalidate every last word including ‘of’, ‘the’ and ‘and’ of that agreement. There is an exception, and that is Israel. Israel is held by the State Department to a standard unparalleled throughout all of human history. The State Department does not only hold Israel to the terms of every agreement but even believes Israel should also be forced to commit to upholding State Department inter-office memorandums and bullet points. These are not parts of treaties or agreements; these are simply the dreams and other machinations from the dark recesses of the twisted minds of people who really do not like Israel. The animosity towards Israel from the State Department is palpable. This was made evident during the administration of President George W. Bush amongst others before him back to November 29, 1947, or at the least May 15, 1948.

 

To give a prime example of the brilliance in making the world that little bit extra tough for Israel, the State Department will always be there with its version of tough love, let us look at the foremost action taken at largely the behest of the State Department as communicated to President George W. Bush by then Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice. We need to remember that George W. Bush, despite his insistence that Israel be divided further ignoring international law and treaties which give Israel the undivided lands west of the Jordan River. Also in plans to assist Israel by applying the deeply rooted, if not thought out, plan that democracy instituted allowing the citizenry to vote will produce leaders who will be willing to work towards the same goals as the Western Democracies, all will result in more fanfare than progress or change. Never mind that the people in many of these nations and populations have little if any concept on freedom, independence of the ballot box and anonymous voting rights meaning their recorded vote theoretically is untraceable back to them or any other individual. They do not believe that their cast vote matters unless it is cast to retain those in power otherwise when they return to power life will not be comfortable, and one can rely on the promise that they will return to power and their vengeance will be swift and brutal. Only if they are replaced by somebody even more brutal and strong enough to resist any and all attempts to steal their position by coup does this new ruler remain in power. This was recently made very evident when Egyptian President Morsi despite attempting to replace some of the ranking Generals in the military was unable to rid himself of Commander of the Armies Sisi who removed him, set up an interim government run by military council sans himself and while he appeared bold and favored to be the next President. This came to pass and in his first year as President of Egypt he has removed much of the leadership of the Muslim Brotherhood as well as tried former President Morsi for criminal intents thus guaranteeing he will never return to office.

 

When President George W. Bush insisted that the new election in the Palestinian autonomous regions of Gaza, Judea, and Samaria allow anybody and everybody to be permitted to field candidates, even Hamas, Islamic Jihad, al-Qaeda of Gaza, the various criminal gangs and on and on; Arab Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas protested vehemently but to no avail; Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu warned exactly as had Abbas and with the same results; everybody who knew anything about the Middle East would have realized that Hamas would likely defeat Fatah and the other so-called moderates would lose. Abbas even made sure his office was not included in the coming fiasco. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice echoed the concept that elections would solve all the ills and with proper representation and the terrorists embarrassed sufficiently and out of power as no rational people would choose terrorists, especially known terrorists to lead their society as to do such would be madness. This line of reason was solidly purported by the State Department, the source of this misbegotten concept that democracy, especially democracy where there is absolutely no history of independent thought and even the predominant religion was based on surrender of the self to the whole we were told, the entire world was told, that democracy cures all ills. Well, guess what, Hamas won and won easily. Their electoral victory was muted as much as Abbas was able which may have partially led to the Hamas coup to take complete control in Gaza. Now it is that same State Department which calls for Israel to allow these “Freedom Flotillas” to pass unmolested through the arms sea embargo enforced by both Egypt and Israel claiming that it could do no harm. Israel, quite rightfully, maintains that once a single such flotilla was granted free pass the next ones would be chocked full of arms. Still the State Department is right there looking over Israeli shoulders for the slightest innuendo that Israel may be about to act is done in a manner which the State Department current directives and policy statements. As far as the State Department is concerned, Israel is a wholly owned subsidiary of the United States and is ruled over as a protectorate under State Department management. The State Department has been working endlessly and with unceasing efforts to undermine every Israeli attempt to mitigate the Iranian nuclear threat. It has perhaps the State Department and White House concerted efforts to prevent Israel from taking any action. They leaked the information that Israel had arranged to lease for training purposes a pair of Azerbaijan airfields which had the immediate effect the Israeli hope to use that military option President Obama and the State Department not only were dead set on keeping said military plan firmly cemented on the table but to also cement any Israeli hope to terminate the Iranian immediate nuclear threat their own method. There was another leak; this time from the White House ending the hopes being granted overfly permission by Saudi Arabia. Every time there has been a plan it has been blocked either by the White House or the State Department. It was a report from the State Department which advised every President to demand that Israel return all of the property she may have gained even in defensive wars where she was the attacked and thus aggrieved nation and had every right under international laws to retain any and all lands gained in such a defensive war such as were deemed necessary to provide for defense or that had other valuable resources which would aid in future efforts and discourage their enemies from again bringing war against the aggrieved nation. But instead of the winner getting to dictate the peace, the State Department with valuable assists from the European Union and its member nations, along with the Arab League and the aggressor nations have an almost universal privilege at determining where the boundaries will be drawn almost exclusively placing the lines in some manner forcing Israel all the way back to her previous position reinstating the Green Line placing Israel into jeopardy once more.

 

Further proof was provided during last summer’s Operation Defensive Edge where the State Department was assigned final clearance for any and all shipments of arms to Israel including guaranteed by documented arms agreements, the kind President Obama claims he was arranging with Iran with one very significant difference, the Israeli arms agreements had been ratified by Congress receiving near unanimous support from Congress. This one extra signoff should have been merely a formality but instead became a complete arms embargo for the duration of the conflict. The coordinated assault meant to force Israel into a defenseless position as she might have run out of munitions, in particular JDAMs and other smart weapons which minimize collateral damage as best as possible which weapons are vital to reduce civilian casualties which Hamas and Islamic Jihad and other groups fighting against Israel who locate their emplacements instead of out in open areas use the heavily populated cities, and Gaza had large areas of farmlands (as depicted in map below showing population distribution in the Gaza Strip) and is not packed border to border with people. Central Israel where Hamas aimed most of their M 75 and the M 302 missiles has a greater population density than does Gaza. Jerusalem neighborhoods would rival Gaza City for population density as would Akko but these facts never quite make it onto the facts sheet the State Department puts out for the media and news shows to utilize as presumably unbiased reporting.

The Israelis, on the other hand, set up well outside the inhabited areas such as Sderot to assure the civilians are in minimal danger though these efforts are wasted as Hamas and Islamic Jihad fire their missiles and rockets and mortars into the Israeli civilian centers hoping to murder noncombatants through their actions, both Israeli and Gazan which doubles the war crimes committed by Hamas, Islamic Jihad and the rest.

 

 

Israel has no choice but to believe that Israel may not ever return to the trust level shared for almost half a century. This may mean that the F-35 Jet Fighters will be the first and last stealthy airframes purchased from the United States. As another source would just as likely to become problematic with time, perhaps some serious consideration should be given to produce all vital military components and complete systems within Israel dependent only on the outside world for raw materials such as iron, carbon and fuel. The designs and manufacture should be completed at home. We have the ability and the facilities as is proven by the drone manufacturing where the Hermes 900 drone which is virtually the size of a modern fighter just differently powered and unmanned. On that note we should point out that going pilotless with each fighter pilot placed on the ground nearby or in a squad aircraft which would carry a set of up to twenty-five pilots with each controlling his aircraft inside an escort plane sitting twenty to thirty miles from the deployed aircraft keeping them safe while allowing greater maneuverability for their aircraft no longer subjected to human limitations. Each aircraft is also set automatically to using defensive maneuvers and returning to its home base or returning to the arena should its pilot regain control. Such a system would maximize safety for pilots and Israel could use their advanced drone knowledge to accomplish this system before the rest of the world if only we would take the leap and have the faith in our engineers and technicians to work out such a system where each pilot sits in a mock-up canopy with all the controls just as they are in the aircraft just like the trainers are today except this system does not need to try and mimic the movements and G-forces. The sooner we stress this as Israel’s future air force the sooner it will be the Israeli Air Force (IAF). What’s the saying, “The future is now!” Why not make that the motto of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), the Army, Navy, Air Force, Border Patrol and even Law Enforcement, time to get smart, efficient and a step ahead.

Iran Deal Still a Step Away

 

Apparently everybody who is paying even the slightest attention has figured out the Iranian ploy at the talks which presumably began with the premise of reining in the Iranian nuclear weapons research and imminent production along with reducing stockpiles of uranium and the nuclear related equipment starting with the centrifuges. There was also the necessity of forcing the Iranian leaders to come forth with all information of any military research had been done and experiments or development of related issues such as work on the nuclear trigger, compression sequencing which controls how the detonations are timed to maximize or control yield, and any work on making devices such as using a nuclear weapon for maximizing the EMP feasibility which makes a device which has a maximum Gama ray yield which results in a much lesser explosion but gives a yield of Gama radiation which can destroy all electronic devices for hundreds of miles, or neutron bomb which kills people and other living things but causes minimal damage to buildings and structures, the hydrogen bomb also called a thermonuclear bomb which uses an atomic bomb to trigger a fusion reaction which vastly increases the energy yield making the bomb many magnitudes more destructive and other specialty weapon based on the atomic bomb. Thus far the Iranians have walked back every proposal though initially it appeared that the Iranians were being overly cautious about their pushing and applying pressure to arrive at a better deal but as time approached the deadline for a deal the Iranians began to increase their demands for items to be weakened, removed or severely watered down. When they were still pressing for a number of such alterations to the agreement the United States gave the Iranians the greatest gift with still weeks left before the set deadline for an agreement, they proposed the deadline be pushed six months further into the future, a change in the rules even the Iranians had not pressed believing that the much vaunted and threatened military option was removable from the table and put into use, an action which likely troubled Tehran but after the first extension the Iranians realized there was never going to be anything beyond endless negotiations and they could relax and run the clock out repeatedly with last minute demands which also garnered them the most results and then the extension to a new date. With President Obama desperate for a deal, any deal, the Iranians assumed their position in the catbird seat and began to drive the agreement over the cliff, through the woods and so far beyond reasonable it could only be phrased as they took things beyond the cusp into a place where only the strangest of things occur.

 

Deliberations continued and the six month extensions were coming along just fine and the Iranians had mastered their technique of not even bothering to negotiate for five of the months and then being impossible arrogant demanding several rewrites of entire sections of the agreement when President Obama and team made their next present to the Iranians as they feared an agreement might not be reached before President Obama leaves office, a consideration too horrific for President Obama to contemplate. The extension went from half a year to months to half a month to weeks and on to days and now it appears the deadline is reaching being extended the few hours or even less as team Obama are turning frantic. The deadline is now a permanently flowing target which remains just out of reach just as the end of Iranian demands also never quite ends. It is like an inside joke a friend and I have which fits so I guess this will introduce a new phrase which now fits the negations to a tee, we call it the “one more door” situation which came from playing one of those computer adventure games where there is always that next door or level to reach and it was getting late but one of us, not me, insisted on continuing through the next door thus the phrase, “one more door” syndrome. This is where the negotiations have reached as even when the news gets to the media that an agreement has been completed, then the Iranians bring the next “one more door” alteration, refinement or outright demand. The latest of these was yesterday when an agreement was presumably reached and then the Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif told reporters from his hotel balcony, according to the Reuters news agency, “We still have got work to do tomorrow. No deal today.” So the deadline pushing continued and on to the next door.

 

This time the demand is another big one; it will push President Obama into that position where he is all but guaranteed to fail, crossing a red line he promised would never be crossed without grave and serious consequences and possibly a deal breaker resulting in the possible use of the military option which, as we have been told ad-nauseum, is still on the table. Yes, we know it is still on the table and are suspecting it is irremovable from said table. We have also heard that the deal they are working on is over a hundred pages in length, probably so Nancy Pelosi will run around screaming that the agreement must be ratified so they can find out what is in it. You have to love politicians of both parties as they make their actions so easy to ridicule just as George H. W. Bush claimed during his campaign a promise that likely guaranteed he would not be reelected when he crossed that red line and caved in after pledging, “No new taxes.” His only defense was to obfuscate the issue claiming he did not allow a “new” tax by just a necessary raising of already existing taxes in order to get his budget passed. That dog did not walk and he lost the election to Bill Clinton and the rest is a confusing mass of Hillary later on.

 

Back on track here. The latest demand from the Iranian side is for the agreement to abrogate and nullify not just the United Nation economic sanctions which were levied for offences having nothing to do with the Iranian nuclear issue but stemmed from Iranian interferences in Lebanon and Syria and against others using proxies such as Hezballah that Iran necessarily needed to be refrained and have her fangs dulled. This brought economic sanctions which Iran has already been given relief from in the agreement but also had imposed weapons sanctions on Iran which was done in part to prevent Russia from selling Iran the S-300 series (NATO names SA-10 Grumble) anti-aircraft and anti-missile systems, considered one of the preeminent anti-missile systems at the time especially effective against cruise missiles and one of the main reasons the United States pressed to prevent the sale by going to the United Nations and forcing the arms embargo onto the Iranians. Now the Iranians are insisting that the arms embargo also be lifted and annulled. The fear now is by lifting the arms embargo which also technically forbid Iran from providing weapons to other entities such as in Yemen currently not to mention Syria and Hezballah, both of which Iran has simply ignored any restrictions and often got around them by paying for weapons ordered presumably by other entities. Now Iran is insisting the arms embargo also be lifted. The way these negotiations are going one might conclude that by the time there is an agreement it will be approaching a thousand pages and the last six or seven hundred pages will constitute items that the United States and Europe give to Iran simply because we all desire to be friends and Iran could be so much more friendly with ‘X,’ ‘Y,’ and ‘Z.’ With the deadlines now so fluid that they simple fold under each suggestion that Iran needs a few more hours, nay, minutes to think up their next insignificant concession and surrender that I would not be surprised if by the time the deal is sealed and signed the United States will have surrendered Guam, Midway and the Hawaiian Islands to Iran in exchange for their good intentions and possibly the Bikini Atolls for testing purposes, why stop at reasonable and even absurd on this agreement and not go to completely ludicrous, after all, you are now entering the Beyond the Cusp Zone, or at least Secretary of State Kerry and his team of folding negotiators have gone there and unfortunately will come out the other side proclaiming while raising a very heavy multi-thousand page agreement overhead, I hold here a small book with President ‘Smiling Cheshire Man’* Rouhani’s signature on it bringing us “Peace in our time.” Can this entire boondoggle get any more ridiculously, incredulously ludicrous? I believe it can though exactly how is beyond my ability to reason or divine, can you? Make your prediction, if you like, as to what may end up being the last demand the Iranians will make that President Obama will grant as when it comes to Iran the President just cannot say no. Perhaps the Americans can restart with a twist the Nancy Regan War on Drugs campaign and start demanding of the White House, “Just say ‘No!’”

Obama Iran Ploy is Working and We’re the Fools

 

Almost daily we can read any number of articles from all parts of the Western nations and even at times in Asian and Middle Eastern news services proclaiming how President Obama is such a rube and a fool allowing himself to be led by the nose down the primrose path to oblivion. Many of these articles also point out what fools his Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and John Kerry have been for not insisting that President Obama wake up and smell the nuclear weapons. Now where I may agree heartily that Secretary of State John Kerry is one of the grandest fools to ever walk out onto the world’s stage for all to assess, I am a little more reluctant to claim the same of Hillary Clinton though I will agree that she is an opportunist and knew that crossing President Obama would have been political suicide if she was going to ever gain his support in her quest for the White House. Her foolishness was believing he would ever stoop to assisting anybody where it serves him not. So, now on to President Obama who is without a doubt the grand architect and even has Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Hosseini Khamenei and President Hassan Rouhani (from here on to be referred to as the ‘Smiling Cheshire Man’ after the cat from Alice in Wonderland that after its gone its oddly wicked smile remained to charm the unsuspecting {see picture below}) both believe they are playing the American President for the fool. It serves President Obama to have his detractors believing and calling him an idiot who is unable to see the forest for the trees as this forces the Democrats and leftists who support President Obama and tout him as the most brilliant man to ever grace the Oval Office to line up and defend him and placing the majority of the left wing media, and especially the New York Times to support his craftiness in that he is drafting an agreement with numerous little technical details which will deviously prevent the Iranians from reaching a breakout point on nuclear weapons for the rest of eternity. So, who is right and why?

A quick aside we had to include about Iranian President Rouhani and the quotes we caught right before press time and just felt had to be distributed to our friends and readers. The Iranian President Rouhani the ‘Smiling Cheshire Man’ was quoted by Nasim news agency stating, “Even if the nuclear talks fail, our diplomacy showed the world that we are logical. We never left the negotiation table and always provided the best answer.” Further, the ‘Smiling Cheshire Man’ stated, “Twenty-two months of negotiation means we have managed to charm the world, and it’s an art.” Well Mr. Smiling Cheshire Man, we have some news for you, we have not been charmed and know you for the jovial, familial, back stabbing, confidence grabbing, lying, betrayer of trust, sinister evil Smiling Cheshire Man that you are.

 

Believe it or not both sides are right and for the wrong reasons. Those calling President Obama the fool are wrong though they are correct that only a President of the United States who was a fool would allow these negotiations to have dragged on and be giving away the store as each deadline approaches before extending the talks one more time. The Democrats are close to right when they claim that President Obama is a smart man but are wrong that he is designing an agreement which will trick the Iranians preventing them from developing nuclear weapons as quickly as they are able. What most people are overlooking, likely because to even think it is considered treasonous even if it becomes known as true is that President Obama has been aiming the entire time to give Iran the cover, the funds and the freedom from inspections and the ability to do as they please precisely because his aim is for Iran to join the nations of the nuclear club and at the same time facilitate the Russian bear, a.k.a. President Putin, to flex his bare chest and retake control over whatever he feels bold enough to take and to provide China the wherewithal of claim all of the South China Sea as their private bathtub and the control over all the islands and atolls they can reclaim and/or build in the remaining time he is in office. Still, the crown in President Obama’s crown will be the hegemonic rise of Iran with their taking control of the southern Shia provinces of Iraq, defeat ISIS and impress their rule on all of Syria and possibly Lebanon as well placing them on the northern border of Israel and closer to Hamas to supply them through military convoys through the Israeli blockade, a confrontation he would condemn in the most serious terms while sliding them a private note congratulating them on their bold strategies. If I were Saudi Arabia I would be very wary of any Shiite uprisings in the northeast territories, especially the oil field lands and I cannot give serious enough warnings to King Abdullah II ibn al-Hussein of Jordan as his lands would stand between the Ayatollahs and their desired conquest of the Arab Palestinian lands in Judea and Samaria giving them fronts against Israel on three sides and nearly encircling the Jewish State. Where Iran would tout being on Israel’s borders as their greatest achievement and opportunity, they would eventually rue the day they strove to accomplish that feat in order to attack Israel directly.

 

Meanwhile, President Obama sits back in the White House, or out on the golf links, reveling in his brilliant handling of the United States media, his fooling the right into believing he was merely incompetent and not treasonous thus avoiding possible impeachment. Imagine how fast the House would bring up charges of impeachment and the Senate find the President guilty if it ever became known that he was actually planning the neutering of the United States’ ability to project power beyond her shores, leave the nuclear weapons stores in such disrepair as to possibly render over half the American nuclear arsenal beyond retrievable repair through not funding inspections and cancelling critical maintenance, rendering the United States military to a state of lacking in readiness rivalling their state right before World War II. And President Obama has further worked on souring relations with the most vital of allies starting with his disrespect shown the British Queen, Prime Minister and the entire British Isles with his thoughtless and insulting gifts when they first met, the disrespect of actually touching the Queen when they first met as Michelle Obama did and on top of all this having called on the British Embassy for them to come and remove the bust of Winston Churchill during his first few days in office. Then moving on to the barrages of insults thrown at Israel and her Prime Minister being refused press meetings as was the norm and having him enter through a back door of the White House and leaving him to, as stated to Netanyahu’s face, go have dinner with his family and for the Israelis to reconsider their position and send for him should they decide to be more reasonable and even arranging to meet Israeli President Peres in the Blair House rather than in the White House as is customary between heads of state. Additionally, his disregard of the Saudi Arabian Royal Family as well as his treasonous interference in Egyptian politics in a bald-faced attempt to place the Muslim Brotherhood as rulers in Egypt and retain them there even against the will of the Egyptian people. What else does he need to do, go to Paris and ask President Hollande if he has any clean white flags he can borrow as he forgot his handkerchief?

 

President Obama still has to tread his near treasonous path at the very least until the fall of next year though he will probably be permitted great amounts of latitude as the Republicans appear almost fearful of protesting President Obama’s actions too vehemently afraid they may be accused of being racist while the Democrats, at least those completely in the tank for the President, seem all too eager to use that label on anybody who dares to challenge the greatness and brilliance they appear to hold Obama as possessing. Meanwhile, President Obama can simply continue and carry on in much the same manner as he has to this point with possibly a few extra rounds of golf thrown in thus aiding in the belief that he is unconcerned with the pressures and responsibilities of the office. Of course the Presidency has appeared to have drawn an extra decade or more off of his life judging by the greying of his hair and other certain differences in his appearance and mannerisms (though I have often suspected that since Richard Nixon Presidents have dyed their hair greyer rather than to cover the grey). Most Presidents, as with President Obama, tend to become more deliberate and slow down in the meter of their speech and become more soft spoken as the office has likely taxed them and struck them with some very unexpected and, as they were unappreciated, sleepless nights and shocking revelations and forced the meeting of threats beyond those we are ever aware of and perhaps that is for the better. A sure sign that there has been collusion between the American Administration and the Iranians will be if come next fall the two parties are still negotiating a mutually agreeable parting gift that President Obama and Secretary of State Kerry can cheerily grant the Iranians virtually everything they could possibly have dreamed to have had included. Negotiations being handed off to the next President is near completely impossible as the Iranians would not tempt the following administration being anywhere near as accommodating as has the Obama administration. It would be doubtful that President Obama would want to have the negotiations continuing during the lead-up to the elections as it would play into the hands of a Republican campaigning on foreign policy disasters such as the Iran negotiations and having it hurt the Democrat candidate. The one thing that has been so troubling about the Iranian nuclear program negotiations was who in the State Department thought having pretty much the same team members from the failure that were the North Koran nuclear negotiations that resulted in North Korea testing their first nuclear weapon within a year of completing negotiations now negotiating for the United States with Iran unless the desired end is identical to those results. Would it beyond probability that should President Obama sign an agreement with the Iranians mere days, or even weeks, before the end of his term in office and after the elections have determined the next President might actually lead to an investigation into possible irregularities and even collaboration between President Obama, certain high members of his administration and high officials in the State Department be investigated as a credible investigation could be useful in setting the record straight and alleviating suspicions which would be sure to arise.

 

There are many other suspicious events and seeming collusions to foil the regular systems and critical checks and balances through the two terms of the Obama Presidency which have given witness either to a level of competence by the administration or a level of collusion which would be extremely troubling should it be proven true. The original passage of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA), Obamacare, which was not supported by a single Republican vote but still required party discipline beyond normal enforcement yet this is exactly what was achieved. Then the two separate reviews by the Supreme Court, both of which many had predicted would cripple the entirety of the program as should either case have struck down vital and necessary implementations and interpretations would have mortally wounded the legislation and potentially caused a crisis which could have caused the complete rollback of all of the many tentacles of Obamacare throughout the healthcare industry and forced a reset back to the systems which existed previous to the passing of Obamacare. There have been reports of irregularities with elections which have exceeded previous levels in scope and severity which could be relegated to better tracking abilities using computers and predictive software as well as possible party politics. The record increases in people receiving food stamps, welfare, disability payments and other government relief payments which have come under scrutiny but still there has not been irrefutable evidence of collusion by the White House beyond pressing changes in policy attitudes, a change which within the prerogatives of any Administration and are not outside of party politics. Still, it would seem that we have been bombarded with a seemingly unending and ever building torrent of such reports and suspicions which may also be another result of the widening distance between the two extremes in the political arena where candidates who just a decade or so past would have easily been considered mainstream in each party are now looking at their party which seemingly have slid ever further to the extremes making agreement and cooperation nearly impossible or at least highly improbable. Perhaps President Obama’s terms in office may be the harbinger of a new normal where whichever party is out of control of the White House will be critically hyper-scrutinizing every single word, policy, spokespersons, advisors or any other iota of data all seeking any crack in the armor to launch a partisan attack in an attempt to wound and weaken the President and thus impair their ability to get their agenda accomplished. In all honesty, if this results in near paralysis in domestic policies and forces future Congress sessions to each be even less productive each term, then this just could be to the benefit of the American people as there are already more laws and regulations than any law abiding person could ever comply with and not be in contradiction of the law almost hourly if not at least daily. At some point the people need to honestly ask when does a society become too litigious, when does a government be found to be passing laws to justify their positions and salaries? By the time such discussions reach the general public it is way past time to turn things around and there will never be an end in sight through the existing systems, so once it becomes an issue the issue has already passed by and the evidence will soon permeate that society. Such a question can never be discussed too early and yesterday will always have been preferable to tomorrow to breach such a discussion.
