Never before in human history since the Roman dispersion of the Hebrews, largely consisting of the majority remaining tribe of Judah, thus the Judeans, simply the Jews, being sent throughout the Roman Empire, particularly around the far-reaches from the heart near Rome to Jerusalem, has the world been so innately consumed with the daily actions, routine or otherwise, of such a small population sitting on such a thin sliver of land. Then, as now, the reason all the attention was with the intent of destroying the claims of an independent nation for the Jews, Judeans, in the area they believed Hashem had set aside through all of eternity for their inheritance. The fact that the people claiming this particular sliver of land at the east end of the Mediterranean Sea also claim that there is a purpose in life which is above and beyond hedonistic self-gratification and that they have a guide which defines the self-restraints which make for the most egalitarian of societies and for the most productive and healthy lifestyle was considered irrelevant. These people call this guide Torah and they claim that it demands they obey an intricate mixture contained in the six-hundred-thirteen commandments given them by Hashem to guide them to be a light unto all the nations received at Mount Sinai, a nondescript mountain which was not the highest nor most magnificent peak amongst mountains in the region but special in other ways often believed to be beyond understanding, which makes these demands solely of them while there are but the seven laws of the Noahic Code. These people, the Jews, have no desire to force or even entice others to become Jews and even will grant those who desire to convert three opportunities to decide conversion was a less than ideal decision. We ask them to reconsider the first time at the close of the discussion about their desires and reasons they seek to convert and they receive their first actual requirements which include at least two years of classes and testing to assure the new member understands the rituals and requirements for guaranteed inclusion. We offer them an easy and understandable reason for quitting at some midpoint of their education about Judaism and what is required of each Jew or Jewess and they are granted one last opting out at the end of their conversion ordeal immediately before or during their Rabbinic review in which their general knowledge and reasons for converting are questioned and considered by a panel of Rabbis who must decide if their education has been sufficiently absorbed.

These items are considered as the Jews having a superiority complex whereby they place themselves as being better than the others and thus resented. The truth is that Torah teaches that we live lives consisting of and presenting a model character and live by the examples of our forefathers and their desires to perfect the individual and through such be a light unto the nations. We are taught to be humble but resolute, to be learned but intuition and feelings are of equal and sometimes superior quality, we are told to set an example yet to refrain from aloofness and ingratitude, to live according to the teachings from within Torah and to be true and faithful to the Torah and to Hashem. Despite the Commandments being spelled out and such that anybody is capable of viewing them, still people claim that the Jews have secretive plans to reach out from the current Israeli lands and expand out and establishing a Greater Israel from which the Jews will rule over the world. This idea was supported by the Czars who went so far as to write a book meant to prove the Jews had such a plan and that the Torah classes where the Rabbis who had spent their lives learning Torah and books written by other Rabbis and compilations of the best of these writings but nothing which instructed Jews to try and rule the planet and corrupt governments. The forgery was titled “Protocols of the Elders of Zion” was written by the Czars and utilized to validate a series of pogroms thus making the writing produced by the Czars was used to murder the Jews, not to place the Jew over other people and was a complete fraud and corruption of all being a good Jew is about.

A good Jew is one who is kind and who has developed a mindset of service to mankind. They are to be forever humble and to use life’s day to day interactions outside of studying Torah and supportive writings such as Talmud to learn through studying people and to find where Torah can be used to grant further insight that explains the behavior and how Torah can be used to overcome the confrontations and strife both in an individual life as well as such infecting an entire society. Much of Jewish studies are molded around serving mankind both as a whole of their society and as each individual as an entity in itself. A proper Jew views each individual both as a single drop of water in and of itself striving for perfection and also as member of a group as a clean and supportive role flowing as river through a city which can have either of two competing roles. Such a river could be used by all the residents as a source of drinking water and for irrigation and for any purpose except one. The instance anyone chose to use the river as a method for waste removal, the rest of the people downstream would no longer be able to use the river for drinking and irrigation as the waters had become fouled. There are many rivers in our lives, metaphorically speaking, and one of the most important rivers are the ways in which we interact and treat one another.

Here as well such rivers can be refreshing or polluted by each individual and once a river between peoples become tainted and polluted by hatreds, the river is very difficult to make clean again. Hatreds between peoples are strange in that many times they cannot even explain exactly what caused the hatred or their hatred really came from somewhere other than the object of their hate. This is very true when we come to Israel as there are those who hold very strong hatreds towards Israel, and often against Jews as well, despite knowing very little about either or even having any direct knowledge or contact. In our world today it has become a cause celeb to hate Israel and to simply assume that Israel had committed some heinous crimes against many different people for reasons unknown to anyone. If you were to ask people at a demonstration against Israel why they are demonstrating the answers you would get would probably astound anybody with even the slightest knowledge in logic. The most honest would reply that they do not know exactly why the protest was being held. Others would at least know enough to say that it was because of Israel’s treatment of the Palestinians. What treatment they would likely be unsure or have some really out there explanations of what Israel had done or was currently doing to these Palestinian or even what makes somebody a Palestinian.

Some of the more profoundly erroneous reasons are actually accepted in the media and news agencies as well as entire websites and web-communities which have sprouted up repeating these misconceptions which seem to grow out of nowhere. There are those who claim Israel stole the Palestinian’s homelands in a war. Ask which war they will reply the Palestinian Israel war. No such war has ever occurred but that will not slow them down as they will say that Israel stole their land because of some conflict. That one is correct but it would probably surprise them to learn that the war they are referring to is the war by the Arab and Muslim world to eradicate Israel as the Jewish state. Others will claim that Israel forces the Palestinians to remain in camps; some might even claim these are concentration camps. The problem is that there is not a single Palestinian camp within the areas where Israel controls the location with the closest one to being under Israeli control is in Jenin which is located in the center of the city of Jenin which is entirely inhabited by Arabs who claim they are Palestinian for political reasons and not a single Jew resides in Jenin and if one tried to reside there they would be murdered within the first few minutes of their arrival and being identified as a Jew. The Palestinian Authority has complete autonomy over Jenin and any taxes paid are paid to the Palestinian Authority from Jenin and the policing of Jenin is performed by the Palestinian Security Service. All the rest of the Palestinian camps are in areas controlled by their fellow Arabs. There is one attached to the outskirts of Gaza City under Hamas control, there are a number in Jordan, more in Lebanon and there had been a particularly large one in Syria which ISIS destroyed after Bashir Assad had bombed it to oblivion, but none in Israel.

Some respondents are bound to claim that Israel is committing genocide against the Palestinians. They would be hard pressed to find out that the Palestinians numbers have increased from under a million in 1949 to around one and a half million at the end of the Six Day War and are currently around five million. At the point this new piece of information is entered into the conversation you might want to ask them if Israel is trying to commit genocide against the Palestinians and many will continue to claim that Israel is indeed attempting to commit genocide against the Palestinians. This is when you ask them if they can define genocide other than to say it is what the Israelis are committing against the Palestinians. The answers you will get will range from absurd to absolutely beyond belief. I doubt but cannot be sure if one somewhere might claim the genocide is not allowing the Palestinians to live, vote, roam freely or other deprivation which are all things which would be criminal if the Palestinians actually had Israeli citizenship. If these acts against the Palestinians are crimes then the United States, Britain, France, Germany, Brazil, Peru, Japan, China, Russia, Germany, Syria, Jordan, Egypt, South Africa and any other nation on earth are also guilt of committing genocide or whatever else one cares to call it. Israel has an Arab population around two-million strong with the largest share being Muslim and most of the rest Christians and a small minority Jewish and this Arab population in Israel is around twenty percent. These Arab Israelis work, live, vote, and have every right every other Israeli enjoys and some even are serving in the Israeli Parliament, the Knesset. There is one restriction placed on the Arab Israelis that is also pressed against other non-Jewish Israelis with the exception of Druze who demanded they also have this right, this responsibility. The one thing that the Arabs are not given that every Jewish citizen is granted is mandatory service in the Israeli army, the IDF. Israelis can choose to do national service instead of serving in the IDF but the Jews and Druze are required to do service and the Arabs are not required. Understand that Arab Israelis can and do serve and serve with distinction in the IDF and many are very brave simply because they face increasingly difficult challenges as their fellow Arabs sometimes will treat them very poorly. That is a sad state of affairs which the Jews in Israel play no part. Contrary to the Apartheid claimants, the Arabs in Israel do vote and everything else they desire doing in Israel.

But, Beyond the Cusp, you say that Arab Israelis vote in Israeli elections, but that is code for the Palestinian Arabs cannot vote in Israeli elections, what about that? Well, true and Israelis, especially Israeli Jews are not permitted to vote in Palestinian elections. In Gaza the last elections, and only election since that election in 2007 elected Hamas and they have been ruling over Gaza ever since. That election followed soon after the Gaza Hamas-Palestinian Authority and Fatah War where Hamas won in a coup removing the Palestinian Authority from having any influence. In Judea and Samaria, what many call the West Bank, the Palestinians have an Autonomous Region which includes all of Part A and some of Part B of the three divisions agreed upon in the Oslo Accords while Israel controls Part C. The original Oslo Accords theorized and is based on Part C of these lands would remain with Israel and Part A, where ninety-percent of the Palestinian reside, would remain with the Palestinian State and the debate was supposed to be where the demarcation between Israel and Palestinian State the border would be placed.

These disputed lands were liberated from Jordanian illegitimate control in the Six Day War in June of 1967. For the nineteen years that Jordan controlled Judea and Samaria after the Arab initiated war to annihilate the Jews on the founding of Israel they attempted to annex the area and even their allies from that war refused to recognize their action and in the entire world only Britain and Pakistan recognized their annexation. During those nineteen years that Jordan held these lands there was not a single peep about a Palestinian State and they were content that the Jews who had resided in those lands were expelled or murdered after or during that war in 1948-9. It was not until after 1967 when Israel took those lands liberating them after Jordan joined Egypt and Syria in the war they called the war to genocidally drive the Jews into the sea which they lost and Israel gained the Sinai Peninsula from Egypt and liberated Gaza which Egypt illegally retained after the 1948-9 War mentioned above. When Israel made peace with Egypt, Israel returned the Sinai Peninsula and the Egyptians surrendered any claim to Gaza which Israel granted independence in August of 2005 and Hamas took control a couple of years later and has been launching rockets into Israel at her population centers ever since, and not just right before the Gaza conflicts, as those were caused by numerous reasons, always including increased to intolerable levels of rockets fired into Israel. Israel liberated the Golan Heights in the Six Day War from Syrian control and has annexed them and they will remain Israeli lands for reasons of defense which are more important now since ISIS had taken control of much of Syria just beyond those heights. Israel also liberated Judea and Samaria which were part of the area the Jews inhabited at the time of the Roman dispersion of the Jews after they attempted to gain their independence from Roman conquest for the second time. For the record, the first time the Jews revolted and gained their independence, the Maccabees ruled Israel for almost two years before Rome overwhelmed the small army using a number of Roman Legions; the war was quick but also brutal. The second revolt only removed the roman garrisons for about six months and the Romans showed up with legions again and decided to rid themselves of the Judean problem so they did to the Jews what they did to Carthage, they took the males and sold them as slaves and rowers in their galleys, triremes and other ships and dispersed others around the far reaches of the Empire. Carthage has only been heard of when studying the three wars they had with Rome and also the fete by Hannibal of crossing the Alps with elephants, actually most of his elephants died in that endeavor. The Carthaginians assimilated and were never heard from again. The Jews managed because of Torah, they managed to remain Jews over the next nearly two-thousand years until in 1948, due to decisions and treaties made at the end of World War I, known then as the Big War, when the new lines and nations were being fashioned throughout the central European areas with the breaking-up of the Austria-Hungarian Empire, the Arab nations with the breaking-up of the Ottoman Empire which were delineated in the Sykes-Picot Agreement, and the formation of the Jewish State, and Syria and Lebanon in the San Remo Conference Agreement signed by the Arab League in the early part of the 1920s. The agreement allowing for Jordan was signed between the Zionist Congress and the British which left all lands west of the Jordan River as inviolate for the Jewish State backed by the might of the British Empire and the crown. Well, that sure meant a whole lot as the British voted against the formation of Israel when the United Nations discussed the partition of those lands west of the Jordan River when on November 29, 1947 where they recommended in a non-binding resolution, that word non-binding is very important as it meant that if either party to the agreement rejected the agreement then the entire agreement was invalid. The United Nations partition was rejected, but not by the Jews or the Zionist Congress but by the Arab League as they were planning their war in which they would easily defeat “the Jew” and take all the lands. They failed in that venture over the years of 1948-9 as a series of cease fires were arranged as the Arab forces petitioned and the Jews/Israelis gladly took the opportunity for peace. These ceasefires were broken repeatedly by the Arab forces and each time they lost a little more land. Had they continued after the armistice which they did not break until 1967, such great restraint they showed, perhaps Israel would have ended up larger later back in 1948-9 which would have easily added 1950 had it continued further.

Let’s get back to our discussing of the Palestinians not being permitted to vote in Israeli elections. That charge is quite true but then again Israel does not allow Egyptians or the French or the Japanese or a myriad of others to vote in their elections and why should they. The Palestinians vote in the Palestinian elections which have been held at irregular periods with the last election for Chairman of the Palestinian Authority being held in 2005 and put off when it came up again in 2009 and again in 2012 or 2013. Parliamentary elections were last held in 2006 and been suspended since and some of those elected in that election have been removed by edict from Mahmoud Abbas after the Hamas revolt in Gaza. So, Palestinian living in Gaza would vote in Gaza and did once electing Hamas and no further elections have been deemed necessary and Israel is powerless to force election in Gaza and why would they? Palestinian Authority last held elections in 2006 and in 2005 for the top position which changes names depending on the day of the week and the color of the wall covering of the room Mahmoud Abbas finds himself, sometimes Chairman of the Palestinian Authority or Chairman of Fatah and even Chairman of the PLO (Palestinian Liberation Organization which remains a terrorist organization in many places), others Prime Minister of Palestine, and President of Palestinian Territories and your guess is as good as mine and I presume we will just have to wait and see. The Israeli Arab/Palestinian/Gazan again who knows conflict, which would be best given the name of the conflict by all and any means of destroying the Jewish state by the concerted efforts of leftist, Arabists, Islamists, radicals, and the useful masses (Stalin had a different and more descriptive name for these peoples) through any and every means possible including Roger Waters petitioning every and all rock and music artists to not perform in the Zionist Entity (that’s Israel or home of the Jews to the rest of us) and collective hate speech reserved for Israel and the Jews of the Middle East (which means Israel as almost all have been chased from almost every Arab nation) because we all have agreed to claim terrible things which remain unproven because most of them are truly ludicrous when examined critically because we do not know any better and have never investigated a single concept that we claim to be the reason Israel is evil conflict. Kind of hard to get your arms around isn’t it. You want to understand the Jewish love for that small sliver of land which is really small as the maps below show, read your Old Testament of the Bible and our attachment becomes more clear and then read about the Holocaust, the Inquisition, the pogroms across the lands where the Jews resided or the real history behind the Yellow Star the Jews were forced to wear by the Nazis centuries after any number of Arab and Muslim rulers forced the Jews to wear particular colors denoting them for scorn and persecution and the European cruelties and other indignities even including the mob burning of a Synagogue in New York in the 1800s and the edict barring the ownership of lands by Jews and their expulsion after the Civil War in the area controlled by General Grant which included all of Tennessee, Kentucky and much of Georgia, Alabama and Mississippi. His order was finally rescinded after Washington D. C. was finally informed and sent a rider back with the order but in that ensuing close to two months the deed had been done and most of the Jews lost their lands, possessions and were relegated to begging and fleeing the persecution in the United States so there are few if any nations free of guilt against the Jew.

Crystallization and Realization of the Unavoidable Truth

Despite my having found much of what I had heard and understood of the teachings of Rabbi Meir David Kahane, as minor as my knowledge back then had been, I was still foolish enough to believe that the Arabs, even Yasser Arafat, had tired of the violence and hatreds making them as ready and willing to make peace as Israel had been for years, decades, millennia. The one truth which is rarely spoken of but is the truthful essence of what constitutes the core of Jewish belief as it matured through the ages and had been its core truth from before the Greek conquest of the Holy Lands and even before the area where these lands were renamed the Holy Lands, the Jews main desire was to be permitted to live freely under our own governance in the lands promised us as written in Torah, the Five Books of Moses. We never desired empire or conquest of the world or anything like such, even the claims that the Jews want to establish a Greater Israel stretching from the Tigress and Euphrates in Iraq to the Nile in Egypt. If there were such a concept of a greater Israel, it would include the lands as described in the division of the lands on either side of the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea, and today even just between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea. But then there is the presumed problem of the Arab Palestinian’s supposed rightful claim to some part or the whole of the same lands. Truth be told, the Arabs have no real desire to form another Arab nation of Palestine as they simply desire to erase Israel and rid the world of the Jews.

That is partially why I find Hamas and even ISIS as more honorable than Fatah and Mahmoud Abbas and all the world’s claimants and presumed supporters of the “Two State Solution” because Hamas and ISIS make neither excuses nor obstructions of their desires. Both state outright that they desire a world with their form of Islam ruling supreme with all the Jews exterminated and only true (by their definition) followers who have dedicated and surrendered themselves before Allah. What makes these two groups so interesting, or at least peculiarly somewhat fascinating is that Hamas would probably demand all ISIS members swear allegiance to Hamas leadership and ISIS has already declared their intention of destroying Hamas replacing them and all others operating in Gaza with ISIS and a purification of the ranks of these entities and terror groups before admitting any of them into ISIS. The fact that both Hamas and ISIS have declared their intentions as being global conquest and the eradication of all who are not steadfast in their beliefs of their version of Sunni Islam starting with the eradication of the Jews worldwide make dealing with them clear in what position should be taken by anybody not already a member or considering membership in either Hamas or ISIS. Both Hamas and ISIS must be prevented from ever even approaching their goals, though there are those in the United Nations and Europe who believe they can reach an accord with Hamas at least as far as the Jews and especially Israel are concerned, and these individuals and groups fully understand exactly what accepting Hamas would mean.

While many years ago I believed the beautiful idea of peace between the Arabs and the Jews and Israel was potentially achievable if only a satisfactory settlement could be attained, slowly but inexorably the reality and truth became more and more clear and this process has reached its conclusion as far as the Arabs, as represented through the ruse of the Palestinians as a people in search of their homelands being restored or established, were concerned and have pretty much solidified on the desires of much of the rest of the world, especially those who are in control of the positions of power around the world. The Arab position is exactly the same as it was in and before 1948 ever since there appeared to be any glint of an idea for a Jewish State on the Jews ancient homelands, the destruction of the Jews and any remnant or idea of their having a state anywhere on planet Earth or the accompanying solar system, Milky Way Galaxy, the Milky Way-Andromeda Galactic neighborhood or the all-encompassing universe and any reality within which that universe may exist and beyond. I doubt that is in any way an exaggeration but potentially merely an approximation of the true intentions of the Arabs, particularly those represented by the ruse of the Palestinian People, a people who never have and still do not exist except as a ploy for destroying Israel and eventually the Jewish People. With this established, where does this leave things both generally and particularly?

It leaves Israel to wrestle with this idea that the only division of the land which any Arab known by their false identity of Palestinian is willing to accept according to their leadership and increasingly their people who have been fed a steady and unending flood of indoctrination to hatred of Israel and the Jewish People and anyone else, even the Muslims, residing within Israeli peaceably. The general Arab population in the Middle East and Northern Africa (MENA) usually have little if any opinion concerning Israel, especially as of late with so many other threats from within their own societies spreading violence, death and other horrors throughout MENA putting their lives and everything else in great peril. When polled on their feelings towards Israel or the Jews they will often resort to stating the repeated aims of the dictatorial, monarchial or theocratic leaders have pounded home about the threat the Jews and Israel pose and the need to eliminate both Israel and the Jews universally. The recent polling of the Arabs residing in Judea and Samaria responded to the question of what would be an acceptable and fair peace with Israel by a majority choosing the eradication of Israel replacing it in total with Palestine. Should such a poll be issued from Gaza many experts believe the outcome would be even more extreme thus leaving little doubt that the Arab Palestinian population desires an end to Israel replacing it with Palestine. The interesting point found that the younger the polled person the more they supported the destruction of Israel replacing it with Palestine and annihilating every last Jews in Israel. This was credited to the indoctrination of the media and school curriculum. The truth is that the only acceptable solution to the Arab/Israeli Peace Process for the majority of Arab Palestinians and an excessive majority of those Arab Palestinians under the age of thirty is the eradication of Israel and the Jews replacing both with an Arab Islamic state of Palestine. Such leaves very little room for debate or negotiations.

Another truth which can be gleaned from the polling data is that Mahmoud Abbas cannot, and apparently will not, accept any peace deal which does not meet the maximalist demands of the Arab side as a minimal acceptable agreement. Needless to point out that Israel cannot accept such a proposition as doing so would be suicide by another terminology. This became obvious back in 2000 when Yasser Arafat was blind-sided when Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak who succumbed to a desperate United States President Bill Clinton who pressured the Israeli Prime Minister Barak to meet all of Yasser Arafat’s demands. The demands in question were part of Yasser Arafat’s best offer which had been slowly and painstakingly extracted by a persistent President Bill Clinton over weeks upon weeks until finally reaching what was presumed to be a historic effort culminating in an actual peace agreement and Nobel Peace Prizes all around. One might further assume that there was an even more enticing offer made from Taba, Egypt where President Clinton and Prime Minister Barak flew after Arafat strode purposely to his waiting vehicle which took him to his standing jet warmed and ready for flight back to Jordan presumably closing off and possibility for a deal. President Clinton was not going to give up on receiving his unprecedented second Nobel Peace Prize so easily, even should such an attempt spell potential eradication of the State of Israel. These deliberations continued with no further offers honestly being reviewed, let alone being accepted until President Clinton was to leave office in early 2001 and Prime Minister Barak had to start his unsuccessful campaign which he lost to Prime Minister Sharon.

The demands of the Arab Palestinians have also become far more dire with every attempt to negotiate a peace accord. The cycle has been repeated so many times since the 1993 Oslo Accords that none of the original intent remains. Viability has been replaced with simply erecting a framework from which peace might be discussed. Every single statement has been carefully scrutinized and nit-picked to such a point that the original intended meaning has become lost in a tangle of modifying verbiage. Mahmoud Abbas has set so many preconditions demanded just for the two sides to sit at the table for a brief photo-shoot so the press can be used to depict progress. There has been no progress nor can there be progress. The only potentials for solving the impasse would require honest brokers from all sides, such a point that simply finding such people has taken on a life of its own. Mahmoud Abbas has been left with demanding the impossible as conditions to facilitate meeting and the world’s public barely flinched when reports made it certain that the demands to meet and renew discussions included Israel packing in all of the cities and their suburbs, towns, factories, commercial spaces, shopping malls and housing for an estimated eight-hundred-thousand to one-million Israelis and relocating the entirety of the population and necessary equipment and other items necessary to rebuild and resettle these soon to be made Israeli refugees within the Green Line. This precondition would have been considered a maximalist and completely untenable final solution, let alone initial concession from which further negotiations and potential Israeli sacrifices be made additionally. There have been some talk that all of Jerusalem be turned over to a neutral party such as the Vatican to run the institutions and provide the citizens who live within the greater Jerusalem area protection and freedom of travel while also accommodating those who wished to visit or who worked in Jerusalem. An even more radical solution offered in order to keep Jerusalem undivided the entirety including western suburbs be made the capital of the Arab state of Palestine and Israel would be forced to remove their embassy. All the problems even arranging a sit down and talk should render any realistic hopes for a solution within any time period after which the European Union, NATO or the United Nations would be to impose their concept of a final solution has become the new default position, a position neither party is comfortable with. So, where does this leave the peace process?

This is where the rest of the world gets involved and everything gets impossible to explain in one simple posting. Much of our time here has been discussing different aspects, angles, intents and deceits from both sides and each of us have formed our own opinions. By this time we must all have realized that there can be no solution to the situation in its current form. This is where the rest of the world enters the picture. The problem with this is there exists an ugly truth about much of the world; they would like to undo their treaties and conferences by which Israel came into existence. The reason for establishing the state of Israel was largely so the European nations and powers could rid themselves of this subculture which, though loyal citizens, they were apart from the rest of your countrymen and as such caused much turmoil and strife. If one had been truthful back in the time period from the mid-1800s through to the end of World War I they would have admitted that much of the problem with their Jewish population was caused by their very own citizens seeking some place to place their blames for every calamity and this was traditionally the Jews. This was evident during the years of the plague and during every economic crisis and also during wars. No matter what extremes the Jews went to so as to harmonize and fit into the many societies there was one thing which they could not change which made them different and that problem was their Jewishness. Most of these nations were Catholic such as France, Spain and Italy while others were different forms of Protestant such as Germany and the Lutherans, England and the Church of England, the Greeks were Greek Orthodox, the Russians and Russian Orthodox, and so on with one reality being obvious in its absence, there was no state for the Jews and they were always those different people with their different culture. These Jews even ate food prepared differently and would not eat the same foods such as roast pork. The Jews were a problem for those ruling as they never could completely assimilate for as long as they remained Jews.

It was a noble idea to return the Jews to their ancestral lands after near two-thousand years. The collapse and defeat of the Ottoman Empire made the returning of the Jews to their ancestral lands become viable and was written into a number of the treaties, conferences and other documents binding most of the world into establishing the nation of Israel. Now the race appears to be to correct some mistake and return the Jewish People to being outcasts and always those others in every community. Even taking this route presents a problem; a very large problem in that roughly half of the Israeli population resulted from numerous pogroms and other persecutions and expulsions resulting in their ending their travels, trials and tribulations by settling in the one nation where they were welcome. Many of these refugees numbering over eight-hundred-thousand, which is far more than the estimated six-hundred-fifty-thousands of Arab refugees, many who fled Israel from Israel to facilitate the easier slaughter of those remaining behind as the combined and impressive armies of seven Arab nations, Jordan, Syria, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Egypt, Lebanon as well as several militias and the Air Forces from each nation against Israel and a few intrepid volunteers who somehow managed the miracle and held their ground and even made series of gains on virtually every front.

The question now is how will these nations treat the Jews now that they have their own nation? The answer to that question is readily available by checking their ratings concerning how they treat any Jewish citizens of their own and how do they treat Israel? There has been considerable recent studies on anti-Semitism and how it is increasing throughout much of the world with it being rampant in the MENA area of the world. What was interesting in the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) was that the location in which one lives has more in determining the tendencies for people holding anti-Semitic feelings. In the ADL survey they tracked the religion of the respondents and in every case by continental regions the Christian and the Muslim rates tracked similar rises in MENA and increasing rates in Europe and lower rates in the Americas and other areas sampled. Europe has been showing a rampant rise in anti-Semitism and the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement has made gains in unions and across college campuses and even NGOs and governments in Europe. There are the early signs of a coming similar rise in the United States. Results and interactive tools are available at the ADL Survey Results Global Anti-Semitism which grants a good and interesting means of gaining information by regions, nations and other more typical survey informational breakdown such as by age, educational level, religion and others. One can get carried away as there is sufficient information at the site that I may have to spend some additional time there checking out some things of interest. The one unfortunate result from the exhaustive ADL Anti-Semitism Study was the rate of increase it made evident and the levels of hate and ignorance about Jews and how the two items are almost directly linked.

This rise in anti-Semitism is celebrated largely through hatred and double standards used against Israel. Both anti-Israel and anti-Zionism are the new faces of anti-Semitism. There is an easy way to tell if somebody’s commentary and critique of Israel or Zionism is actually masked anti-Semitism. This method is often referred to as the 3D Test of anti-Semitism is a means testing for determining if some criticism is actually masked anti-Semitism or legitimate criticism of Israel. The three Ds stand for Delegitimization, Demonization and use of Double Standards. Let’s define each term for easy recognition. Delegitimization would consist of arguments which tend to claim that Israel has no right to exist or should not be permitted to be the Jewish state. Claims that the Jews should not be permitted a state of their own are definitive anti-Semitism as you are making the Jews the sole peoples on the planet who should not be permitted their own country. That is also part of the teachings which claim that the Jews are a cursed people forsaken by G0d and as such have been condemned to always live as strangers subject to the treatment and will of the rest of the world as the Jew is somehow less human due to their being cursed. To make such comparisons easy just substitute Japanese, English, French, Chinese or any other group or nationality for Israel and if it sounds like hate, then it is probably hate and thus anti-Semitism. Demonization is a severe form of the last set of examples but usually goes deeper. Demonization will often be found when Israel is held up as the new Nazis or as genocidal monsters. The easiest way to recognize Demonization is to be well familiarized with the truth and simply measure if the person is falsely accusing Israel of the most heinous of acts and criminal activity. The Israel is a genocidal murdering nation that is ethnically cleansing the Arab Palestinians. As the population numbers continue to rise and there are no mass graves of Palestinians such accusations are totally false and an attempt to cast Israel, and the Jews, of blood libels of murdering people. The oldest of the blood libels is that Jews kill children (from whichever group you are attempting to provoke hatred for Jews or Israel) to use their blood in baking their ‘special holy matzoth.’ This has been a regular cartoon shown in the Arab Palestinian areas in Judea and Samaria by the Palestinian Authority often also broadcast on their television broadcast station. The last is the Double Standard which should be self-explanatory. People claim that Israelis are not being killed by the rockets and mortars while the Arabs have far greater casualty numbers so Israel is using disproportional force is one such form of a Double Standard as every nation in wars uses all the forces they can bring to bear. Actually, the main disproportional force Israel uses is to prevent any casualties of their civilians by investing and producing some of the most proficient anti-rocket, mortar and artillery in the world called the Iron Dome. Israel has extremely effective interception systems for larger rockets such as scuds and also for ballistic missiles which Israel attempts to strike while they are rising from the launcher and before it starts reentry towards its target. On the other side, Hamas and Islamic Jihad actually do everything humanly possible to increase the numbers of civilians killed in any conflict they start. Hamas uses children as bullet proof vests, they drape them around the cars of their high ranking people to prevent any strikes upon them, they place their rockets and most important operatives underground in bunkers with their command and control bunker built underneath the largest hospital in Gaza while they do not permit any civilians to use their extensive tunnel and bunker systems for their safety and Hamas has been caught simply removing the equipment such as any identifying insignia, their rifle and other military items and then claim the person shot and killed by the IDF, and for this person there is video in which the weapon and other similar items have been removed or blurred beyond recognition. There were close to or possibly over a hundred such attempts to list known terrorists as civilians so this is a common problem. As an Israeli politician, possibly Bibi, stated, “We (Israel) use our rockets to protect and save our people while Hamas (Islamic Jihad and company) use their people to protect their rockets.” One cannot say it more plainly than that. What is the major unavoidable truth that has crystallized and become a realization that Israel will now be the target of the haters and anti-Semites of the world as well as a whole new band of people who will believe that their insane preoccupation with Israeli evil deeds are not hateful of Jews or Israel, they are just amongst the few with clear sight. There is a tip off line when anyone in any argument which is against any grouping of people claims, if you only knew them as I know them, then you too would believe as I do. Of course that is nonsense, but take it for the very dangerous nonsense that it is and steer far from those claiming such as it is usually the argument of those with no real facts to back their hatreds, something the vast number of anti-Semites also suffer from, bad data making for bad arguments. The last hint you have found a rare breed of anti-Semite, if the subject is Israel, Zionists or Jews, and just hater is when they resort to shouting slogans at you refusing to permit intelligent conversation.

I was reading an article titled “Watch: Huckabee Declares ‘Iran’s Ultimate Goal is the US’” which triggered a slight case of déja vu as we had declared that at the top of the Iranian list for nations to strike once they have the nuclear capability and could attain sufficient staging abilities would not be Israel but the United States in our article “Iran Negotiations Continue Going Downhill” on April 15, 2014. For the sake of ease, below is the YouTube for your viewing pleasure.

With the technical out of the way, time for our comments on the statements in the video given by Dr. Joseph Frager and Former Governor Mike Huckabee in the video. Where we agree with the commentary that the United States is the ultimate goal that Iran desires to target, we go an additional step and claim that Iran desires to strike the United States before they make any attempt to strike Israel. We base this on a number of items with the simple fact that when Iran makes their claims they always place the United States as the Great Satan while Israel is the Little Satan. Another example were the yearly conventions held by Iran under Ahmadinejad when he was their figure head of a president which were named “A World Without the United States and Zionism” which featured a theme pictured in a photo of two balls crashing at the bottom of an hourglass with one representing Israel and the other the United States where the United States ball was already sitting at the bottom broken while the one representing Israel was falling towards its similar demise (see below). Many followers of the Middle East hold that everything done in the theater of politics and foreign relations, no matter how small or insignificant it may appear to some, is done in a particular manner with an exact meaning which must not be overlooked or dismissed as irrelevant. The fact that the sphere representing the United States is already broken and the sphere representing Israel is still falling towards its designated fate could be taken to depict the order Iran planned to strike. That would place the United States destruction taking place before the destruction of Israel; or it may be completely meaningless. Still, the picture combined fact that the United States is the Great Satan and Israel merely the Little Satan and the conference name placed the United States ahead of Zionism for being deleted from the world’s stage all add up to give solid evidence that Iran has placed the destruction of the United States as its primary goal and destroying Israel is a secondary aim and is considered less vital and important than the United States. Neither destruction, regardless of the order, is desirable nor should have any reference to such destructions be taken as simply political bluster used for consumption within Iran and the Muslim world having little if any meaning or signifying an actual battle plan and order of attack in the future of Iran.

Mike Huckabee then goes into theoretical mode claiming that the United States should do what it can to support those Iranians who desire to replace the Ayatollahs and their theocratic and oppressive governance with a democratic government and begins to reset the relations of Iran with the rest of the world. He also claims that removing the sanctions was unwise, something almost everybody is on board and in agreement over with the possible exception of a few hardline Obama supporters who still hang on his every utterance. Then Mike Huckabee stated that the Iranian people do not represent the same views, desires and ends that the Ayatollahs, a questionable assumption when it comes to the Iranian nuclear program. Polls over the years have drawn a disconcerting line depicting a slow but inexorable rise in the support the Iranian people show towards continuing their nuclear program even should the Mullahs and their cohorts be removed from power and replaced with some form of democratic or republican form of governance. He is correct in his calls for supporting any future uprising though he fails to completely flush out exactly how far such support should go and whether the idea of support intends to place American boots on the ground, provide air cover as well as arming the revolutionaries, simply provide small arms along with some limited heavier weaponry or simply provide logistical and surveillance technical assistance and leave the rest to the people to fight to overthrow their oppressive government without direct assistance from the United States. He then concludes repeating his call for aiding Israel politically and militarily by taking a “stand with Israel and take whatever action is necessary to make sure there is no such thing as a nuclear Iran.” These statements are pretty much the standard boilerplate stands former governor Huckabee has stated as his core principles and the platform on which he stands. His standing firmly with Israel is greatly appreciated and may he be successful and find a route to elected office which is tenable and realistic such that his views for supporting Israel have a venue where their being expressed and used as a base for voting, especially on those items which most directly affect Israel.

Mike Huckabee handed the microphone to John Catsimatidis, a former New York mayoral candidate and also the owner of Gristedes Foods (a century old New York area supermarket chain), who added commentary of an economic war being waged using oil prices and being designed with respects to Saudi Arabia who he claimed are fighting Canada, the United States Iran and Russia. I am appreciative that he breached this subject as I have been mulling my thoughts over this lately and have a somewhat different take. Mr. Catsimatidis is correct that Saudi Arabia is fighting a war using the price of oil and that this is aimed at Iran and Russia. Saudi Arabia is not considering Canada in their equation and if Canada is suffering due to the lower price of oil, it is an unfortunate circumstance. Saudi Arabia is also taking a shot over the bough of the United States and President Obama in particular. This spurred my interest when at a recently held OPEC (Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries) meeting to discuss the price of oil the Saudis insisted that only the representatives of the OPEC nations invited to its conference were to be permitted access to those proceedings. This barred the media as well as any uninvited nations who may have had a desire to be included in the meetings and make their feelings known and potentially attempt to pressure some of the participating nations to help push their agenda. The Saudis also insisted on complete secrecy until the conference was completed at which time a press release was to be given, but there was not to be any question and answer with the press which likely left a number of upset media types who believe their being part of the media gives them special privileges. Saudi Arabia first target, as we all likely know, is Iran and the Saudis know that Iran needs to have oil prices somewhere around one-hundred to one-hundred-twenty dollars a barrel to make even a small profit and prefer even higher prices as their heavy oil is more difficult to process and makes a poorer breakdown producing less of the preferable products such as gasoline and diesel. Secondarily, the Saudis also potentially desire to place Russia in a tight spot though they most likely do not wish to be obvious about such a maneuver. Russia’s oil is also somewhat heavy, though not as poor a quality as is Iranian oil, thus they too prefer a higher price. Additionally, the Russians economy is being almost completely supported by their oil sales which derive much less revenue with these lower prices thus they too suffer. Canada is an unfortunate casualty as there are no hard feelings between the Saudis and Canada which is wonderful for Canada as far as that goes. But for the United States, this action by Saudi Arabia is a slap in the face of President Obama as they have partially crippled two of the national economies, or at least wounded them at least moderately, which the United States administration has been acting favorably towards even to the point of slighting traditional allies dumping them for Russia and especially Iran. This was a brilliant move by the Saudis though perhaps the brilliance was not so much on figuring how to put some hurt to three of the nations causing the Saudi Arabian leaders, government and others fitful nights’ sleep and general indigestion caused by feelings of rejection and indifference to their situation and desires when it came to foreign policy and such small items as preventing by whatever means were required a nuclear armed Iran. This pushing the price of oil lower was a direct threat to the United States administration and President Obama directly that if the United States was not going to bring the mullahs down to earth and make them toe the line of nuclear nonproliferation or face serious sanctions and potentially a military response to their continued flouting of the nuclear agreements, denying inspections while refusing to answer direct questions of the IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency) then Saudi Arabia was going to apply their own sanctions by pushing the price of oil down to a point where Iran would find it near impossible to make any money from the oil sector of their economy. This controlling the price of oil and keeping it low was also part and parcel of the way that President Raegan financially strangled the Soviet Union leading to their eventual downfall, and Saudi Arabia is at it again this time without the need for an American request, not that one such request was even in the making. The other interesting item is that a majority of the OPEC nations agreed with Saudi Arabia and will be following the Saudi lead in keeping the price of oil deflated for the time being. It will be interesting to see what Saudi Arabia would do should the Iranians test fire a nuclear device. They might respond by dropping oil prices to a point where they would be making next to nothing for each barrel of their oil sold, and their oil is considered to be light sweet crude oil, the finest grade one could hope to receive at their refinery. Setting the price for oil that low would require Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, amongst others, to open their oil spigots full bore and place as much oil as they humanly could produce onto the market making for a glut and thus forcing the price to bottom out. The bright side of an all-out oil war where lowering the price by Saudi Arabia would determine a winner would also make the average European and American driver also a winner as they could very easily realize gasoline prices below a dollar a gallon, potentially well below. This would be the case of inside every black cloud (Iran being at breakout point on nuclear weapons) there is a silver lining (Iranian and Russian economies near collapse due to low oil revenues) with a golden center (gasoline prices at lowest levels in over fifty years potentially).

Dr. Joseph Frager followed up asking Mike Huckabee about anti-Semitism in the world and what might be done about confronting it. Mr. Huckabee pointedly stated that the rise of anti-Semitism was obvious the world over and that the government of the United States has added to the rise through their incitement against Israel. Furthermore, he spoke of it being evident in Europe and other parts of the world but finds it laser focused on Israeli Jews and Israel. Mr. Catsimatidis added that the slow economic growth and dire economics in many places was the impetus to find somebody on whom to place blame and that it always the Jews who are blamed. He mentioned the point that the United States has always been brotherly with Israel though he has his doubts that the Israeli government trusts the current American government in Washington. He also postulated that Israel would be unable to attack Iran as they could not be assured of any support and backup. He closed quoting the Obama slogan of change except the change he implied was for a new governmental outlook towards Israel which would be more favorable.

There is much to evidence that the critical and adversarial attitudes coming from the administration of President Obama has poisoned the wellspring of acceptance of the Jews especially in Europe. The severity of the assaults and the abundance of slurs and verbal abuse along with the defacing of Synagogues, destruction of Jewish cemeteries and the assaults on Jewish citizens and Rabbis have been committed by more than just immigrant populations in Europe. There has been an effort by many in the European media and in the governments who have attempted to explain the increased anti-Semitism completely on their immigrant population but too many of the reports have identified European indigenous populations with perpetrating attacks and other forms of anti-Semitism. There has also been a steep rise in anti-Zionist and especially anti-Israel hatred coming from all spots on the globe. Even places where there are literally a majority of the population who have never met or seen a Jewish person where the hatred still pours forth. That phenomenon is next to impossible to explain except that the pervasive anti-Semitism in the world’s media and on the Internet which has spread that anti-Semitism is not only acceptable but also warranted and really is the cause of all the evils and suffering in the world. When people are polled all over the globe and blood libels are claimed to be valid there is little more that needs to prove that anti-Semitism has become more of an epidemic than any disease as is apparently more communicable than any infectious disease known to modern medicine. The complete irony is that the anti-Semitic demonstrators and rioters often scream and charge the Jews to remove themselves from the nation and take themselves to Israel and then the same faces are in the crowd the next day demanding that Israel be erased and given to the Arabs for another Arab state. How any rational person can rectify holding such diametrically opposing views is beyond explanations. That is but one of the sets of beliefs which is beyond the cusp of having any sense of logic or consistency.

There have been claims that Israel is an Apartheid state despite the known fact that there is an Arab serving on the Israeli Supreme Court, a number of Arabs who are Ministers of the Knesset, Arabs go to the same schools, own land, own apartments, drive cars, work in hospitals, are doctors, nurses, lawyers and every other profession imaginable. If it exists in Israel, then an Arab is almost as likely as a Jews and all have equal opportunities and possibilities for their lives. There are Jewish managers who manage both Jews and Arabs, Arab managers who manage both Jews and Arabs, Arabs serving in the IDF, Arabs in the police force, Arabs in every walk of life. Jews and Arabs live peacefully and intermingle in most towns and cities in Israel. There are Synagogues, Churches, Mosques, Buddhist Temples, Shinto Shrines and Bahá’í gardens and worship house all within Israel and open to freely practice all religions. Yet it will be the Arab state the world is attempting to force onto Israel and to be cut from the Jewish heartland of their ancient homelands which will be free of Jews as demanded by Mahmoud Abbas. Israel has recognized the right of the Arabs to their state as an Arab state but the Arabs refuse to recognize Israel as the homeland for the Jewish People. The Arabs have claimed that they would be willing to allow Israel to continue to exist and end their incitement and terror war against Israel providing that Israel be changed such that it becomes an Arab Muslim run nation and the Jews accept their status as a protected people and as Dhimmi left to live at the pleasure of their Arab Muslim masters while Israel gives total freedom to the Arab citizens of Israel who have the right to vote, hold office, work where they please, live where they please and pretty much do as they please within the same laws as the Jews live under. The Arabs who would make up the Arab state which Mahmoud Abbas as chairman of Fatah and leader of the PLO and unity government where Hamas is an equal member along with Islamic Jihad and Fatah all currently live in their own semi-autonomous region where they have their own leaders who have not stood for an election before their people since 2006 and have cancelled or simply refused to schedule elections for fear that they may not be elected again and this proposition makes holding elections impossible. Meanwhile, the Israelis are about to hold another election as it appears that the Israelis prefer having elections to finishing their terms in office. When the Israeli elections are held on March 17, 2015 all Israelis of voting eligible ages, Jews, Arabs, Christians, Muslims (both Shia and Sunni), Bahá’í, Druze, Bedouin and any other Israeli will get to vote. All of these votes will be equal in their weight; nobody is granted special consideration or relegated to a lesser inferior status. Still, after the elections there will be those claiming that some group was denied their rights to vote or they were unable to vote because they did not get their voter package as they moved two years ago and since then they have not received any government notices or communications and they do not know why, oh wait, fill out a form, at the post office and also tell the city office of your new address; who knew?
