United Nations Working Group Plans for Jews and Israel

United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon has discovered the source of Arab violence against Jews, and particularly Israeli Jews, was that the Jews made them do it. That’s right, the Jews have forced the Arab Palestinians to attack Jews like wild-men attempting to stab Jews or ram vehicles into bus stops and other places where there are many people, assumed to be Jews, in a close proximity because the Jews won’t give them the lands they demand. Has Ban Ki-Moon bothered to ask any Arab Palestinians other than the Palestinian Authority (PA) master manipulators of lies and half-truths or is this something he dreamed up as it has become the main theory of those who believe they have the answers such as Ban Ki-Moon, President Barack Obama, secretary of State John Kerry, High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini or her predecessor the Lady Catherine Ashton or any of any number of European and United Nations Human Rights aficionados? Probably not, as he has stated this inane, malicious, odious, vindictive, anti-Semitic verbal conceptual compost before; and we are being kind. All of the others mentioned share this unoriginal idea that Jews are to be restricted as to where they are permitted to build their house or establish their family residence. There was the ghetto in Rome that to this day is where Jews reside or the Warsaw ghetto where Jews were piled to the point of making the entire area an unhealthy living area with health concerns whenever the density gets so tight that entire families end up residing in a single room sharing an apartment with as many other families as there were rooms with more than one often in the living room making the spread of disease a guaranteed part of existence. When Jordan occupied Judea and Samaria they refused to allow Jews who owned lands, homes, farms and businesses to remain in the lands they captured during their participation in an offensive war which intended to result in the extermination of the Jews but they had to settle for stealing their lands, businesses, homes and anything they could not carry as they were given merely hours to vacate and resettle inside what became the Green Line. Are these Jews now to be denied their own businesses, lands, homes and farms or is the ejection ordered by Jordan now going to be enforced for the Arabs left behind when Judea and Samaria were liberated during the Six Day War and if so where are they to turn to receive some form of reparations for their difficulties and loss of property as both should have equal claiming rights and reparations or neither should receive any form of relief.

Of course there will be no compensation for not only the Jews dispossessed of their properties by Jordan after the Arab Initiated War to Annihilate the Jews and Destroy Israel just as there has been and will never even be discussed what is owed the Jews who were dispossessed in multiple Arab and Muslim nations or reparations for the family members of the Jews murdered in Arab Pogroms across the Arab and Muslim worlds. There will always be reparations owed to Arabs by any Jewish state no matter how truncated Israel may end up as after there have been a series of peace accords each one giving the Arabs who call themselves Palestinians another piece of Israel for peace until the next Intifada which will be resolved with another piece accord where another piece of Israel will be awarded these Arabs just as before. But Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon had a lot to say about the Jewish problem. He listed the fact that the Arab violence was “bred from nearly five decades of Israeli occupation.” These odious ideas were voiced at the United Nations conference in Jakarta, Indonesia, on the “Rights of the Palestinian people” and the situation in Jerusalem. That isn’t too slanted a conference, now is it? Of course it is, but we are not supposed to think like that as that is thought crime which the United Nations cannot yet impose corrective confinement and reeducations, but they are working to get such powers as it will be for the good of the people, especially the children as everything worthwhile is sold as being for the children. Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon knows that the violence that has been forced from the Arab youth as “the result of fear, humiliation, frustration and mistrust. It has been fed by the wounds of decades of bloody conflict, which will take a long time to heal. Palestinian youth in particular are tired of broken promises and they see no light at the end of the tunnel.” He is so wise and knowledgeable and worldly so we must listen and heed his wonderful words of copping out and taking the easiest way out targeting the civilized society which will not test the armor of his car while it transports him in New York as the Israelis and Jews in general are an understanding people who realize that people such as Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon and the rest of the world political elite take the safety of blaming the Jew for the hatred being perpetrated upon them because Europe and all university educated from Ivy League universities and the finest schools in Europe where history is told with a twist as is taught in the department of Middle East politics which has become known benefactors such as Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, and the United Arab Emirates who dictate policy, course material and provides numerous teachers, administrators and highly active students who are often members of some Muslim Brotherhood sponsored youth group. They demand that their version of the world history and political science be taught, after all, they were the ones with the ready cash. Of course their influence at these fine institutions of higher learning extends beyond their teachings; their influence can be seen in school’s with active BDS and Israel apartheid demonstrations just for starters.

Following Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon’s compromise for the dealing with the demands of the leadership of the Arabs known as Palestinians will run into one singular problem, the Arab leadership has demanded the Israelis pull back to the Green Line in exchange for nothing changing except the Jews have been pushed back. They will then demand some additional lands such that it more closely resembles the deal they refused back in 1948 but chose war instead. Then they will claim there was some prehistory line that they owned and that needs to be liberated before they can be satisfied. Eventually the state of Israel will stretch from Nahariya in the north to Ashkelon in the south and only a single mile strip along the coast and as Jerusalem has been declared a universal city which anybody may visit, which was originally administered for the first three weeks by an United Nations peacekeeping force but due to unforeseen small difficulties the enforcement of equal rights and equal access to Jerusalem has been turned over to the Waqf and the Arab Palestinian government. Should such a series of appeasements be attempted to appease Mahmoud Abbas or Saab Erekat then Israel would be pressed to their coast with the Mediterranean Sea plus access to Jerusalem which at last is safely in the hands of the Muslim Jordanian Waqf which Jews would need petition for permission to enter Jerusalem. What more could go wrong?

Oddly enough things could get worse if Israel were to do as so many believe would end the problem, but would it? The idea is Israel should unilaterally form the two states as it is drawn up by the United Nations but we already know the Arabs would reject such as they have rejected such an offer twice already. There are those few who claim it is not too late to give the Jews the Island of Madagascar, which was an alternative to the Middle East that was actually presented and wisely rejected by the Zionist Congress. Imagine what such would have caused, there would have been a tribe of Arabs living in southwestern Yemen near the Bab al-Mandab Strait which could trace their roots back to Madagascar and Israel would be facing the exact same problem. Actually it would be worse as the Jews have no recognized claims to Madagascar. Our actual homeland is what we have a rightful claim to complete with treaties and validations from three-thousand-years of history, so the Zionist Congress knew what they had set in motion. They just were unaware that the world would treat Israel both as the only place every Jew should be located, willingly or unwillingly, while at the same time demanding that the Jews return to their former countries of residence and resume a normal life as if nothing had happened. Never mind that many of the Jews who attempted exactly the same return were met with hostile reactions by their former neighbors and if they were fortunate they escaped with their lives and becoming true people without a country. If ever the Jewish People were in need of a homeland, the end of World War II was that time. Many a European Jew had no place they could call their own and things were turning from bad to worse for the Jews residing in the Arab and Muslim worlds. If ever the Jews were in need of a blessing, the holy lands were just that, the place where a Jew could relate to the area from the stories they read about and had studied from Torah and other Bible narratives. A Jew could arrive at the shores of this land and know they were coming home, that the dry bones were collecting into a people again with the first signs of sinew holding them into individual persons representing every Jew who came home. This was the second wave and the wave which forever proved that we had matured and grown sufficiently deserving of making the return to Eretz Yisroel, but who knew this truly was their land.

But once again the successes of the Jewish people would cause additional problems. The Jews brought the land to life revealing her abundance which had remained hidden from all others who came during the land’s history. This made for great wealth and opportunities which the surrounding Arabs saw and desired to also reap the benefits of the returning Jews so they flocked to Israel as well after the War of Annihilation, also called Israel’s War for Independence when War for Survival would even have been more apt a name. The Arabs have never been happy for others to be more productive; then they demand their share of the wealth when that is the case. That is the entire idea behind the Jizya, the tax on those who are not Muslim. The problem in Israel is that they cannot apply a Jizya on the Jews, an especially onerous Jizya commensurate with their apparent good fortune which has to be at the expense of Allah’s most wonderful servants, thus the building anger. Further, the fact that Israel is not ruled by Muslims, more specifically Arab Muslims, after the lands had been conquered by Muslims, more specifically Arab Muslims, it must not be permitted to fall under any other rule, it has been Islmisized. Many like to quote the Quran where it recognized the Jewish ties to Eretz Yisroel and made it a deed Muslims were obliged to permit that the Jews reside and rule themselves in their lands. The problem is that was part of the Mecca Quran and was superseded by the verses which simplified things in the Medina verses of the Quran which take precedence over anything contradictory from the Mecca Quran. The Medina Quran simply divided the world into two houses, the House of Islam (Dar al-Islam Arabic: دار الإسلام) and House of War (Dar al-Harab Arabic: دار الحرب) which defined the world as that pacified by Islam and which could never be permitted to be removed from Islamic rule, and the lands yet to be pacified by Islam. Islam sees all the world which is not of Islam as a vile and violent place simply needing the guidance and order of Islam societal structure under the Sharia (Islamic Law which governs all aspects of life down to the individual actions such as how to eat, dress etc.) where the Muslims are supreme and all others are Dhimmi or souls left wanting of Islam who were of a lesser level of human being than a follower of Islam who are blessed with great knowledge and understanding as they have memorized or at least learned much of the Quran, Hadiths and other Islamic writings and thus have been introduced to all knowledge in the cosmos as there is only the Quran and all other writings are insignificant as the Quran holds all knowledge. For a short but helpful explanation of the Mecca and Medina Quranic writings, their difference and the reasons societal and in the like of Muhammad which made them so different may we recommend one of our much earlier articles on the subject titled Which Quran, Mecca or Medina? and hope it and the other links, mostly in the comments section, will be of some help.

The fact that the area of Israel and Jerusalem in particular are so important to prevent the Jews from having their own areas and with self-rule as well is simply an anathema to the followers of Islam as they have already spilled copious amounts of blood fighting to prevent the Christians from taking back the Holy Lands they had hoped that was a done deal after the prolonged Caliphate both before and after the rise of the Ottomans who at least had the decency of being Islamic themselves. For this reason the Muslims insist on retaining these lands. The Muslim nations with assistance from the non-aligned nations (NAM) hold a large majority when voting as a bock throughout the United Nations with the exception of the Security Council and only not there due to the veto wielding power of the five permanent members, Russia, China, France, Britain and the United States. This majority holds in the Human Rights Council, UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization), the BDS NGOs which are controlled, though many likely are unaware of this, out of Ramallah and the offices of Mahmoud Abbas, Saab Erekat, Yasser Abed Rabbo, Hanan Ashrawi, Khaled Abu Toameh, Mohammed Omer, Nabil Sha’ath, Mohammad Dahlan, Jibril Rajoub, Mohammad Shtayyeh and Salam Fayyad along with who knows who else from the ranks of the PLO (Palestinian Liberation Organization), the Fatah Party, the al-Aqsa Martyr’s Brigades upper ranks and possibly even Marwan Barghouti from out of his jail cell, or more accurately, his social club and editorial board headquarters with slight restrictions on travel though writing editorials for the New York Times and other leftist news outlets apparently is not too difficult a task. The United Nations and international NGOs are all too often directly or indirectly influenced or even organized and run by the Arabs of the Palestinian Authority and the associated terrorist groups that it boggles the mind. Then there are the left wingnuts who protest Israel and only Israel and are often given generous budgets through the many arms, councils, organizations and study groups and all of this international industry being co-managed between the United Nations and Ramallah. These offices of the PLO, PA and the various United Nations NGOs are so ubiquitous as to drown out any truths which might almost surface before being trampled and maligned in the world media, at conferences, in press releases, in the General Assembly Emergency Meetings, which thus far have convened for the sole purpose of denouncing Israel. The denunciations vary little usually covered by for any one or combination of the following, preventing the successful attaining of peace at talks the Arab PA members walked out of, settlements being built, settlements intended to be built, decisions not to demolish settlements, the existence of settlements (and here we need to define settlements because there are Arab settlements built illegally all over Judea, Samaria, the Galilee and the Negev but the United Nations and their ilk only mean places where Jews are residing), non-judicial executions which are self-defensive use of force resulting in the death of an attacker by any Israeli Jew be they police, IDF or armed citizens (we know how the United Nations feels about armed citizens and especially those who are actually using these weapons for their own or others’ defense) disproportional use of force (this simply translated to actual regular people language means that there are insufficient dead Jews as the United Nations has decided that Israel must be required to have equal or excess casualties as do the Arabs on any confrontation be it war in Gaza or Intifada in Israel). Then there is the Human Rights Commission which has in its bylaws a requirement to denounce Israel for the indignity of that day at the commencement of every session even before the main reason for meeting has been stated, it takes precedence over all other considerations and is done even of the session was called to address the Arab-Israeli conflict which will result in a release of a litany of condemnations of Israel and on the rarest of occasions a rebuke of Mahmoud Abbas or some other PA official but nothing consequential or actually harsh in it tone possibly even apologetic in nature as in we hate to have to do this but here is a slap on the wrist for something Israel would be facing the International Court of Justice. If the PA, Hamas, Iran, President Obama, Secretary of State Kerry, United States Ambassador to the United Nations Samantha Power, United Nations High Commissioner on Human Rights Prince Zeid Ra’ad Zeid Al-Hussein, the former Jordanian Ambassador to the United nations and in the line of succession to be the next King of Jordan had their way there exists a better than average chance that Israel would be erased and all Jews placed on a spaceship heading into deep space with no discernible destination other than not Earth. What could possibly go wrong?

Very few would argue that Israel has friends to spare or even that other nations are publically lining up to declare good and open supportive relations with Israel and if anything, exactly the opposite is the situation. Despite such a guarded prospective being openly displayed, underneath the radar and far from sight there are many nations who willingly cooperate and even work towards similar goals with Israel. Some act simply to protect Israel from those who stand poised to destroy Israel by small steps, by a million cuts or by a single stroke of the sword beheading her as one would a raging monster. There are claims that Israel has designs on ruling the Middle East from the position of a ‘Greater Israel’ which would extend from the Mediterranean Sea to the two rivers, the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers. They quote the liberation of Judea and Samaria as the initial step where after Jordan joined the war to annihilate Israel in June of 1967 believing the Egyptian and Syria broadcasts of their easy and unstoppable successes and their imminent approach on Tel Aviv from both the northeast and from the south, Israel was forced to divert troops heading to reinforce the efforts in the Sinai Peninsula against Egypt to address the newly opened from Jordan in the east. That diversion made steady advances pausing to pray upon the liberated Western Wall and Temple Mount which brought forth an emotional attachment renewed that overwhelmed these Israelis with the gift of being the ones who liberated the most holy of grounds to all Jews. They subsequently liberated the rest of Judea along with Samaria reforming the proper and legal border with Jordan as the Jordan River. The liberation of Judea and Samaria was not an attempted conquest and was a response to an attack and reclaiming the lands stolen by Jordan during the wars to destroy Israel immediately after her founding in 1948 through early 1949. Even this small patch of land which by treaties and promises are lands which legally are an important and vital part of Israel being once again attempted to subvert and steal through the invention of a nation which claims to have been attacked and overrun by Israel though nobody can find the war or military operations which produced such a result. This is a crucial test of whether the United Nations, European Union, and all the world’s nations and their international agencies, alliances and partnerships will respect their promises to the Jewish Zionists to permit and support their return and rebuilding of their ancestral homelands on a tiny strip of land nestled at the eastern edge of the Mediterranean Sea which measures merely a size about equal to the State of New Jersey, smaller than El Salvador, Belize, Djibouti and even Macedonia. The map shown below depicts the proportional insignificance of the land claimed for the Jewish homelands compared to the lands of nations claiming a Muslim heritage of which a significant number claim to be Islamic States observing Islamic Sharia which specifically defines Muslim Code of Law and concerning all practices, rituals, interactions and obligations for all Muslims to surrender in their devotions to Allah and defining the place of their nation, of Islam and their interactions between them and other nations all included and codified in Sharia.

This past week Israel was presented with two reports of which only one can be valid as they are diametric opposites. The one which the media has obsessed over was issued by the United Nations Human Rights Council deliberating over the commission of potential war crimes, crimes against humanity, criminal acts under the Geneva Conventions and any actions the committee found to be of particular interest of which disproportional use of force appeared to be their major area of emphasis with a subcategory viewing what can only be described as seeking reasons for the disparity in injured, murdered, rendered homeless and other material damages and the other was a review of the and the steps taken to prevent inflicting or receiving injury of death of civilians and efforts to minimize collateral damage as well as any efforts to use protected structures, numbers of individual noncombatants in attempts to protect military hardware and positioning military sites of importance within civilian structures and targeting parameters. This military review was conducted independently of the United Nations and included eleven high-ranking military officials who visited Israel back in May as part of this High Level International Military Group on a fact-finding mission for reviewing Operation Protective Edge. As reported in an article in Arutz Sheva their conclusions included:

“We examined the circumstances that led to the tragic conflict last summer and are in no doubt that this was not a war that Israel wanted,” the report states. “Israel sought to avoid the conflict and exercised great restraint over a period of months before the war when its citizens were targeted by sporadic rocket attacks from Gaza.”

“Once the war had begun, Israel made repeated efforts to terminate the fighting,” it continued. “The war that Israel was eventually compelled to fight against Hamas and other Gaza extremists was a legitimate war, necessary to defend its citizens and its territory against sustained attack from beyond its borders.”

The officials then note that Hamas “deliberately and indiscriminately targeted Israeli civilian population centers” through rocket attacks and digging terror tunnels – both of which they conclude are unequivocally considered as “war crimes.” The officials then note that Hamas “deliberately and indiscriminately targeted Israeli civilian population centers” through rocket attacks and digging terror tunnels – both of which they conclude are unequivocally considered as “war crimes.”

The report then contrasts Hamas’s use of human shields with Israel’s attempts to save lives.

“Hamas launched attacks against Israel from the heart of its own civilian communities in Gaza and positioned its munitions and military forces there also, including in schools, hospitals and mosques,” it says. “As well as carefully documented IDF evidence of this, we have viewed international media footage confirming several cases and are aware of senior Hamas officials’ own claims to have used human shields.”

“A recent report by the UN Secretary General confirmed that in some cases Hamas even used UN facilities for storing munitions and launching attacks.”

“Each of our own armies is of course committed to protecting civilian life during combat,” it continued. “But none of us is aware of any army that takes such extensive measures as did the IDF last summer to protect the lives of the civilian population in such circumstances.”
“Our overall findings are that during Operation Protective Edge last summer, in the air, on the ground and at sea, Israel not only met a reasonable international standard of observance of the laws of armed conflict, but in many cases significantly exceeded that standard,” the report concludes. “We saw clear evidence of this from the upper to the lower levels of command.”

“A measure of the seriousness with which Israel took its moral duties and its responsibilities under the laws of armed conflict is that in some cases Israel’s scrupulous adherence to the laws of war cost Israeli soldiers’ and civilians’ lives.”

The report also affirmed the Israeli investigated finding that the ratio of Civilian-to-Military casualty ratio was 1:1, well above the world average of 3:1 and far higher than the ratio set as acceptable targeting. The fact that Israel was able to attain such a low ratio was all the more remarkable when one considers that it was the Hamas, Islamic Jihad and other terrorist fighters intent carried through with deliberate actions to place rocket launchers, command and control centers, mortar positions, stores of rockets and ammunitions and other war equipment and manned positions in, on or near to civilian centers, private residences, hospitals, schools, health clinics, refugee centers and other protected structures. There was an actual in use UNRWA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East) health clinic which had been evacuated as the fighting inched closer and when a squad of IDF soldiers entered the building it was detonated. Further inspection of the structure and the manner in which it exploded revealed a number of items of concern. First was that the clinic was also concealing multiple entrances to tunnels in its floors and the second and most condemning find was the placement of the explosives which by all measure were found to have been built into the structure as it was erected in anticipation that it could be detonated at some future point during an operation such as Operation Protective Edge. That trap killed three IDF soldiers and injured others. At this point we would like to request you visit the article titled Gaza, Hamas, Corrected Falsehoods, Frightening Realities written on September 15, 2014 which contains additional information and links plus the original use of the video shown below of a Hamas rocket launcher site being set up directly outside the window of a reporter from India who filmed and documented the entire procedure, something for which he would very likely have had an accident had this come to light while he was still reporting from within Gaza. I do not know for sure if he remained in Gaza, but either way, the man had great integrity, nerves of steel, a steadfast standing for truth and a great heart full of love of life. Below is his video and further reporting at link above.

One Israeli method to clear a rooftop or building which was being used as a launch site on its roof or from numerous balconies or out of windows of which Israeli drones had detected such fire operations they would first, a few minutes before the actual strike, drop small, very loud, fragment-free, low explosive charges which operate as a large flashbang grenade, called knockers as they were the knock on the ‘proverbial door’ before kicking that ‘door’ in, in order to cause the people to flee the structure before it was struck, something unheard of by these reviewing military officers, something considered completely inconsistent with attempts to maximize even the casualties of the combatants as well an civilians. Such a tactic as well as the radio broadcasts, phone calls, leaflet drops, SMS messages to individual phones and other undisclosed methods for warning the civilian population to leave the area and despite it also gave the combatants to flee still allowing for the destruction of the launchers and depriving them of a preferred and planned firing location. Firing locations which have been preplanned have a tactical advantage in that they are in a set point and the operators have a set of dialable targets where the precise settings for the strike are known while taking up a random or alternate location often either forces the operator to make their best computation (often referred to as best guess) and may also place numerous targets beyond reach, blocked due to locations of larger structures or other obstacles. This is the reason such locations need to be eliminated as otherwise enemy combatants can return and continue to utilize their advantageous locations and the firing data. Also included in this report were the three Israeli teens kidnapped and murdered by Hamas operative in Judea and the ramping up of numbers and increased ranging of rockets which inevitably led to the Israeli response. Also noted was the fact that much of the destruction was restricted to within two miles of the Gaza-Israeli border as this was also the location of the majority of the ground fighting which is far more intense and thus the destructive force increases exponentially to the level of opposition and follows the front lines as each side attempts to clear an area in order to advance in comparative safety.

The United Nations report from the Human Rights Council (UNHRC) omitted mention of the three Israeli teens kidnapped and murdered and made only minor mention of increased rocket fire both in numbers and ranges and instead concentrated on a few limited points which can be defined by one simple phrase, disproportional force and results. There was little mention of the protective shield that the Iron Dome anti-missile system intercepted well over ninety percent of the rockets fired into Israel in determining by the systems’ computers and radar tracking information where the rocket, mortar or artillery would strike and even higher percentage shoot down of those projectiles computed to be heading to strike within populated areas. This prevented literally tens of thousands of Israeli casualties a majority of which would likely have been fatalities as the Iron Dome did work to almost one-hundred percent of projectiles heading for central Tel Aviv and its skyscraper towers. The Iron Dome system is the perfect example of the price Israel places on individual lives as each anti-missile-missile costs tens of thousands of Shekels and were used to intercept rockets which at most cost hundreds of dollars to make. The main point made repeatedly by the UNHRC report referred to the casualty numbers and basically posed the identical question which many reporters posed during Operation Defensive Edge, where were the Israeli casualties, the Jewish casualties (one reporter was caught asking the exact question of why were there no Jewish deaths while so many in Gaza were killed). The preoccupation with Israeli casualties has reached ghoulish levels and casts the pale of anti-Semitic origins for such a line of reasoning. The answer was easy to see, Iron Dome and the fact that Israel was not only willing but gladly invested the millions of Shekels and thousands and possibly hundreds of thousands of hours and prototypes, testing, writing software code and rewriting when necessary and simply editing (as if editing code is ever simple) and finaly perfecting a system that provided the protection desired, nearly perfect protections and the rest we depended upon the hand of Hashem. The absolute proof was made evident by a multiple miss by an Iron Dome system tasked with protecting Tel Aviv and was tracking a missile headed directly to downtown central Tel Aviv and three intercepts missed before what was insufficient a breeze resulted in the missile being swept aside and out into the Mediterranean Sea where it exploded harmlessly. We covered this report in our article How to Fight Terrorist Fanatics Unless You’re Israel which was published with links on September 26, 2014. Somehow this miraculous incident did not appear in the UNHRC report and also omitted was the purported report that when being asked by a senior Gaza government official (read Hamas commander) how come his rockets were not striking in Israel and killing the Israelis the officer replied, “They keep shooting them down and even when they miss their G0d simply swipes them away harmlessly.”

The point driven home by the scant accusations in the document against Hamas are dwarfed to the point of near absence compared to the claims and vile and putrid twisting of the facts in order to convict Israel in the court of anti-Israel and anti-Zionist with potential to classify it as anti-Semitic venomous bile coming from the most base hatreds imaginable. The fact that the initial person selected to be the chair of this investigation was forced to resign because of a proven record of anti-Israeli and anti-Zionist positions and that he was employed by the PLO to render favorable interpretations and provide defense and Jurist William Shabas was replaced with Judge Mary McGowan Davis who was a member of a panel appointed to follow-up on the Goldstone Committee which investigated presumed Israeli infractions in a previous war with Hamas. That report was later revealed for its biases and inaccuracies by the man who sat as the chairman, Judge Richard Goldstone, and who refuted his own report in an article for the Washington Post. One has to believe at some point that the UNHRC has some problems when it comes to all things Israel. One last bit to end on hopefully a slightly brighter note, there was a rumor which I sincerely pray was meant as a joke and not an actual fact that the UNHRC was required by its own bylaws to open every session with a motion denouncing Israel and the discussion would simply be to include the particulars for that denunciation. The only problem such a joke would face is that it might be taken as fact and not one bit of humor be found within.

Many critics of Israel and news agencies from around the world love to use the description that Israeli use of the IDF is disproportionate force because Hamas does not possess equivalent equipment such as jet fighters, attack helicopters, tanks, armored personnel carriers and such. Of course there was no problem from these same sources when the United States and their allies used stealth fighters, stealth bombers, B-52 bombers, Apache Longbow Attack Helicopters, Abrams Main Battle Tanks, F-15, F-16, and a full arsenal of the most advanced weapons systems including special munitions, guided missiles, aim by sight chain guns which are aimed by the pilot simply looking at the target and pulling the trigger as well as satellites and drones of numerous varieties against the Taliban and al-Qaeda in Afghanistan and Iraq without a single accusation of using disproportionate force. But Israel ran into the most absurd suggestion from the United Nations High Commissioner of Human Rights Navi Pillay who citing Israel’s refusal to share its Iron Dome ballistic missile defense shield with the “governing authority” of Gaza, which is the universally recognized terrorist organization Hamas. She stated concerning the Iron Dome anti-missile system which has spared Israelis the devastation from Hamas, Islamic Jihad and the other terror groups’ rockets fired into civilian areas of Israel decrying that, “No such protection has been provided to Gazans against the shelling.” Perhaps next Ms. Pillay will want Israel to provide Hamas, Islamic Jihad et al with Merkava tanks and the United States to provide them with F-15s, F-16s and perhaps F-35 Stealth Fighters when they roll off the production lines, possibly before they supply Israel.

The stressing importance for providing the people of Gaza with humanitarian aid including food and medical supplies as has been reported in virtually every news coverage and commentary is a ruse and dishonest reporting. Those relaying the blood libel that Israel has prevented such aid from entering Gaza are relaying a complete falsehood. All but two or three days during the entire fifty days of the conflict with Hamas, Islamic Jihad and their allies in Gaza the Israelis continued delivering tens upon tens of tractor-trailers full of tons of such supplies. The few missed deliveries were sent the ensuing day as soon as the terrorist forces in Gaza lifted their mortar fire directed at the crossing point with the intent of causing the deliveries not to enter for propaganda reasons. Those days also correspond to reports of the lack of supplies due to Israel preventing their delivery, something Hamas and friends were sure to emphasize in their press releases for those days. Fortunately, there have been some journalists whose integrity and sufficient outrage and indignance who have spoken about the offenses perpetrated by Hamas to control and edit their releases and limiting their access in order to restrict any negative reporting, especially reports that would have further proven and detailed their use of human shields and firing their rockets from within schools, civilian neighborhoods, mosques and other supposedly protected sites. These reporters will likely face similar restrictions against reporting the full extents to which they were intimidated and otherwise coerced and kept from reporting the truths they uncovered by their editors and higher-ups who will want to protect their news reporters access to Gaza in the future. The one thing that needs to be at the base of everyone’s thinking when it comes to the Palestinians, be they the Palestinian Authority (PA), Hamas, Islamic Jihad or even ISIS is that these groups all practice some form of fascism, be it political nationalist fascism such as the PA or theocratic jihadist fascism such as Hamas, Islamic Jihad and ISIS, and they use similar tactics including control of the media, deception and projection onto others those same tactics of which they are guilty.

Back to Israeli supposed use of disproportionate force. The truth is that Israel used the opposite of disproportionate force. Israel could unleash hell on earth on Gaza and eradicate Hamas and Islamic Jihad no matter how deep into their infernal tunnel systems they tried to hide. Israel used such munitions in order to take out three top commanders who were deep in the tunnels underneath a civilian house. Hamas even made a point of pointing out the weight of the munition dropped on their commanders and classified it as a bunker busting bomb. They were correct and be assured that Israel either already possesses or can readily produce more of such munitions should the need warrant such. Israel has all the capabilities of any first rate technologically advanced nations. Israel is one of the leaders in the design and production of drones. The Iron Dome is just one of a number of high tech weapons systems used by Israel to defend their people and military equipment. Many of the Israeli systems are top secret but they have one which is just as remarkable as the Iron Dome that is not secret. The Israelis have a defensive system which when mounted on tanks, other armored vehicles, tanks or anything else even stationary objects is capable of intercepting and neutralizing even an RPG round fired from relatively close range. So, the real accusation which should be made against Israel is that she is using so little force compared to what the IDF is capable of unleashing that they could end the war with Hamas but the end result to the people of Gaza would be harmed beyond reason which is exactly why Israel does not use all at her disposal. Israel actually takes precautions and as much restraint as possible while still being able to accomplish the necessary tasks required to keep her people safe.

Despite the basic understanding that the political leadership is attempting to walk a fine line between unleashing the full force the IDF is capable of unleashing and the complete surrender to Israel’s enemies at the hands of the indignant morality which finds Jews fighting and defending themselves, especially with such professional competence, to be repugnant and against their concepts and perceptions of what Jews are presumable permitted by those who permitted them to reside within their borders. Many have such indignation that now Jews have their own borders and are willing and fully capable of defending them that they feel they must destroy those borders by any means or at least so all that is politically possible to make it as difficult as possible to prevent Israel being permitted to fully defend them. There are those who desire for Israel to hold the Western powers to their word through the treaties and conventions established at the end of World War I, especially the British who guaranteed in an agreement known as the Churchill White Papers that in exchange for the lands east of the Jordan River in order to establish a land for the Palestinian Arabs which is now known as Jordan, they gave their guarantees that the lands west of the Jordan River as inviolate into perpetuity. Well, once again Israelis and Jews can see the trustworthiness of a British promise. Eventually this round and round the mulberry bush will come to a final end and one side will prevail, Israel or her enemies, the Arab and Muslim world. This war started in the year 629 at the Battle of Khaybar where Mohammad commanded his Muslim marauders slaughtered the tribe of Jews known as the Banu Nadir with whom a treaty was theoretically in force. It is this battle on which the concept of a Hudna was born which allowed Muslim forces to enter into a treaty until they gained sufficient strength to fight from a more favorable position and then break that treaty by attacking their enemies. In theory the other party to the treaty or hudna was to be held to the terms of the treaty in order to protect the forces of Islam who were merely waiting until the situation was in their favor before launching their assault and breaking the same treaty completely unannounced, thus also gaining the advantage of surprise in their favor. This time the result will be different than the slaughter of Khaybar. Israel will simply gain control over the lands promised her by treaty and do so with as little force as required. Israel had become experts at using minimal force with maximum restraint in order to cause as few innocent casualties as humanly possible. Any doubt can research the actual ratio of civilians to combatants of any Israeli confrontation with the Arabs or Palestinians with the ratio of any other military in a modern war, especially any contest where a modern military was facing an enemy utilizing asymmetric warfare. The best commentary was delivered by retired British Colonel Richard Kemp in his Oct. 16, 2009, address to the United Nations Human Rights Commission which states the truth without any bias or predisposition reporting what he observed reviewing Israeli actions during their war with Hamas.
