Palestinian Authority Begging for World Support

The Palestinian Authority has begun their reaction to the presumably soon to be announce Trump “Deal of the Century.” Their fear is that any new deal might leave them on the outside peering through the window, if even that. In preparation for a worst case scenario, Riyad al-Maliki, the Palestinian Authority’s (PA) “foreign minister”, on Tuesday asked the UN Human Rights Council to take practical steps to protect the two-state solution. We have to give him credit; at least he knows where to find sympathetic receptions. He could have chosen any United Nations agency or the General Assembly and received all the promises he desires. Their promises are worthless, but they simply wanted to be told they were relevant and receive some stroking from friendly quarters. He wanted somebody to ensure justice for the Palestinian people. In that his insists that they give guarantees to the Palestinian people, whatever that actually means any longer, that they will be granted an independent Palestinian State with self-determination, something they do not have under Mahmoud Abbas, and they demand that they have their capital in Jerusalem. This they have been offered before by Israel more than once and turned it down, but they want the guarantee so they must receive the same offer again which they will refuse again. They also insist on the “right of return” for their five-million plus refugees to the very homes they were expelled from presumably resulting from the war to exterminate the Jews six Arab armies waged in 1948 upon the birth of the State of Israel. The reality is they left on the urgings of the Mufti who promised after Israel was destroyed they could share in the spoils but when they lost the war they placed those who listened to the Mufti in camps and they and their children and their children’s children and even further generations ever since. Their demands for this are based on, according to Riyad al-Maliki, UN Resolution 194.

The wording is very specific about the resolution of the problem of the refugees. It mentions nothing about their receiving a state nor does it mention Jerusalem as their capital city. It does not mention the word “Palestinians” but it does stipulate that the refugees were to be permitted to return to their homes providing they would, “live at peace with their neighbours,” which has been amply proven is not the case. Every survey taken of the Palestinian refugees which the Arabs have religiously incarcerated since 1948 in contrast to the way Israel treated the Jewish refugees from the Arab world who were evicted after being stripped of all wealth and sent with the shirts on their backs and little else. These Jews, over eight-hundred-thousand, had lived in these regions often since before the birth of Islam and some since before the birth of Jesus, but they had their homes, businesses, bank accounts and any other wealth confiscated, a nice word for stolen, and sent packing and unless they held a passport to another country, European or the Americas, they had nowhere to turn other than Israel who took them in, often going to get them by sea or by air, and they were incorporated into Israeli society, not locked away in camps for generations.

The United Nations General Assembly adopts resolution 194 (III), resolving that “refugees wishing to return to their homes and live at peace with their neighbours should be permitted to do so at the earliest practicable date, and that compensation should be paid for the property of those choosing not to return and for loss of or damage to property which, under principles of international law or equity, should be made good by the Governments or authorities responsible.”

In the ensuing fifty-plus years, their homes and even entire villages have fallen to Israeli growth and the natural changes a nation which has taken in hundred upon hundreds of thousands of Jews from around the world, many refugees, as noted above, were sent out impoverished by the Arab world spanning all of MENA* while others simply returned out of a desire to return to their ancient homelands. Had the world actually desired for Israel to succeed and survive, they would have treated the situation just as similar situations have been handled, by enacting a population transfer with the Jews going to Israel, over eight-hundred-million as refugees from the Arab world and over half a million who were refugees from Europe after World War II all added to the indigenous Jews who often could trace their genealogy back to King David while the Arabs were to be permitted to return to their nations of origin, be it Iraq, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and numerous other places from around the Arab world where these individuals from out of where they were recent immigrants. This was the solution used in Europe between numerous nations after World War II such as what occurred between Germany and Poland, as was done in Cyprus between the Greek people and the Turkish population, also the great migrations of Muslims to Pakistan and Hindus and Buddhists into India. Population transfers have occurred in every situation where two incompatible peoples were required to exchange populations to avert violence and other potential problems. In this case the problem was the Jews would have been exterminated by the Arab world if not expelled and in Europe many Jews no longer had homes to return to as they had been destroyed by the war or given to other people after the Jews were shipped to the concentration camps. In too many instances, if a Jew in Europe returned to their home town from before the war they were murdered rather than being allowed their homes and businesses being returned, their hometowns had assumed they were rid of them and had no need and did not wish to take responsibility for these now alien Jews. So, Israel took all the Jews the world did not want, Israel is not going to take in Arabs who have been steeped in anti-Semitism for half a century and bred to want the Jews of Israel dead. After all, there is that phrase in the resolution which goes, “wishing to return to their homes and live at peace with their neighbours.” The Arabs are not desirous of living at peace with their neighbors in Israel, they desire killing their neighbors in Israel.

Another few items which the world conveniently ignores are equally at play in this problem. First is that there already is a nation whose population is predominantly Arab Palestinians and which was established for the Arab Palestinians, especially those who desired not to live near or with the Jews or with Jews ruling the nation, and this nation was granted 78% of the British Mandate and it is called Jordan. Israel is a mere 22% of the British Mandate as can be readily seen in the map below. This arrangement was easily recognized, as the Jordan River was to be the border between the Arab State and the Jewish State. That begs the question as to why that was not the case. Remember that war of extermination in 1948 we referred to above? Well, the Arabs did take control of some lands meant for Israel but Israel was not destroyed and her Jews killed, so the Arabs claim they won but not completely and the Jews claim they won as we survived. Historians refer to this war as Israel’s war of independence despite the fact that Israel had declared statehood under international law and the Arabs attacked with the intent, as stated so succinctly by Azzam Pasha, Secretary-General of the Arab League at that time who stated, “It will be a war of annihilation. It will be a momentous massacre in history that will be talked about like the massacres of the Mongols or the Crusades.” Israel was founded under agreements including the San Remo Conference and other treaties agreed upon by the rulers of the Arab world under King Faisal, the former rulers of the Ottoman Empire which had been on the losing side of the war along with Germany and the Austrian-Hungarian Empire and the allied powers of World War I. The final nail in the Arab claims coffin comes from the International Court of Justice (ICJ). The General Assembly voted at the urging of the Palestinian Authority observer to request from the International Court of Justice a ruling on the legality of the Israeli terror wall, the wall which reduced suicide bombings to none within three years, with the hope of gaining a ruling which would lead to its dismantling such that the terrorist operations would not be hindered by the barrier. The barrier was cleared as being perfectly legal and within the rights of Israel as the sovereign over the region, but that was just the initial good news for Israel. In addition to being cleared of any wrongdoing, there was an advisory opinion issued as a cautionary warning by Egyptian Judge, Justice El Araby, from the ICJ and who sat in judgement as part of the panel which heard the case from the United Nations General Assembly in 2003 on the legality of the security barrier erected by Israel. The Honorable Justice El Araby warned the UNGA and others that filing further ran some risks, as he stated,

“The international legal status of the Palestinian Territory (paras. 70-71 of the Advisory Opinion), in my view, merits more comprehensive treatment. A historical survey is relevant to the question posed by the General Assembly, for it serves as the background to understanding the legal status of the Palestinian Territory on the one hand and underlines the special and continuing responsibility of the General Assembly on the other. This may appear as academic, without relevance to the present events. The present is however determined by the accumulation of past events and no reasonable and fair concern for the future can possibly disregard a firm grasp of past events. In particular, when on more than one occasion, the rule of law was consistently side-stepped. The point of departure, or one can say in legal jargon, the critical date, is the League of Nations Mandate which was entrusted to Great Britain.”

British Mandate as prescribed division between Arab State of Jordan and Jewish State of Israel

British Mandate as prescribed division between Arab State of Jordan and Jewish State of Israel

Of course, we could argue the legal obligation to the Jewish People from signed treaties, conferences and even Article 80 of the United Nations Charter which obligates their enforcement of the Mandate Systems set up by the League of Nations, until we were all blue in the face and it makes no difference as the world refuses to enforce these obligations and instead works tirelessly towards the destruction of Israel as the home of the Jewish People and the Jewish State. Israelis largely are not so foolish as to expect the world to treat them fairly or to live up to their obligations. They are largely aware that the Europeans look at the formation of Israel as an error they made while not necessarily in their right minds and are working to undermine the Jews at every opportunity, well, most of them at least. Too many Israelis actually expect that the United States is and will forever remain their friend. We wish this were so but with the recent remarks by the newly elected Congress people, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the future may not be the sunny and bright bipartisan support with which Israel has grown accustomed. What many Israelis do not remember is that the United States did not fully support Israel in the manner they believe until after the Six Day War and actually starting in the early 1970s (below is the graph of aid to Israel by year from the United States). The claim has been to depict an ever-increasing amount of aid but the actual aid leveled off quickly and remained at the same level until the present. But this is a problem which needs to be faced in the future with the only variable being how far into the future. The current problem is more with the European Union and member nations along with every conceivable arm of the United Nations outside the world court system where laws actually mean something, as even an Egyptian Jurist tried to warn the Palestinian Authority.

United States Israel Aid (Military)

United States Israel Aid (Military)

One of the main goals stated by Mahmoud Abbas has been to “internationalize” the Arab-Israeli conflict. This was part of his new, but previously demanded, terms for moving forward with the peace talks adding it must be based upon the Arab peace plan. His demand for an international forum to decide the fate of Israel centers around his insistence that the forum be based on the United Nations General Assembly. A better way of putting this is that Abbas desires a group which will vote 109 to 12 with 56 abstentions in favor of anything the Arabs propose and against anything favoring Israel. By internationalizing the peace process, he wants to assure that he gets his own little kingdom and that Israel receives five to six million new citizens who must be granted full rights so they can elect whatever Arab leadership they desire at the next election. Another way of stating this is; Mahmoud Abbas wants his own nation and to destroy Israel too. Of course the European Union thinks this idea is just ducky, the United Nations would love nothing better than to decide the fate of Israel in the General Assembly, much of the dictatorships in the world are behind this internationalization of the Israel question, the Arab world thinks this would be fabulous, and apparently only a couple of dozen nations protest this as totally unfair to Israel. All that matters is Israel will not participate in her own lynching by the merry band of thugs Abbas seeks to bolster his side.

Israel has sought peace since her founding in 1948 with David ben Gurion. The recent revisionist history has the Israeli leadership voting not to be bound by the patrician map approved by the United Nations General Assembly in Resolution 181 passed on November 29, 1947. This makes no sense as the Arab League had already rejected the patrician plan and all of Resolution 181 because they were on the verge of their great war of annihilation of the Jews and their newborn state. They only began screaming from the rooftop that Resolution 181 must be enacted just as the United Nations General Assembly had passed after they lost again in the Six Day War of 1967. This failure and loss of the lands they had illegally occupied since 1949 sent them raking through historical decisions seeking one to their liking. Unfortunately for the Arab League, the one they chose was the one which was negated and forever placed into the trash bin of history as soon as they had rejected it in the first place. The thing about United Nations General Assembly resolutions is that they are advisory and as such, both parties have to agree to abide by the suggestion, the crucial word is “suggestion or advisory.” When the Arab League voted to reject Resolution 181, it became null and void and thus could not be applied later. It was a one-time offer and it was refused that one time by the Arab League. For the record, the Zionist Congress had accepted the repartitioning of their land as the Jews simply wanted a state and peace with her neighbors. At that point, size did not matter. Now that it is obvious that the neighbors will eradicate Israel at their earliest possible convenience, now size matters. Even so, Israel has made numerous offers to reach a peaceful settlement which would end the violence and terrorism. It is painfully obvious that there can be no such settlement as the Arabs, as they stated in the Khartoum Resolution with what is known as the “Three No’s”; “No peace with Israel, No recognition of Israel, and No negotiations with Israel,” which can be translated into a single no, no Israel.

Any peace plan or offer which results in the continuation of Israel not under Arab rule and allowing the Jewish State to remain is a peace proposal which is dead on arrival as no Arab would ever accept such a proposal, and that is what is at the center of why President Trump has not been able to release his “Deal of the Century,” he cannot get any Arab nation to sign on and accept any deal leaving Israel intact. President Trump looked originally, we believe, at the Palestinian-Israeli conflict as a real estate problem and since he is, at least in his own mind, the world’s greatest real estate negotiator, he would walk in and find that magic combination and everybody would be popping champagne corks and celebrating. He has, hopefully, since seen the error of his hypothesis. This is not about land at all; it is about the supremacy of Islam over the Judaism they relegated as a dead faith superseded by the teachings of Mohammad. As the Jews also refused to accept Mohammad as the true messenger, they have also been deemed to have to represent the devil and as such are accursed. This makes the Jews inferior to the Muslims and as such must never be permitted to rule, especially over an area of land which once was under Islamic rule as once Islamic, must always be Islamic. Israel is thus not just a problem but an insult and provocation against the inviolability of Islam and thus must be completely and utterly subdued. That is the right way of the world according to Islam and as such must be accepted by all of the world, simply because Islam is supreme over all things. This is about religions and has nothing to do with land. The stressing of Jerusalem is over the capital of Israel, historic and anew, and must not be permitted to remain in Jewish hands. Jerusalem is not the first or even the original third holiest cities of Islam. Damascus was amongst the first as it was a capital of an enemy of Islam which they deemed to be the next one they would conquer. The city holding that title the longest was Constantinople, as it had some of the strongest walls in the world. Other cities given this title include Rome, Paris, London and whatever city is considered to be next in the crosshairs of Islam. Also, the third most holy city to Islam also depends upon whom you are asking as different groups of Muslims have different targets they seek to “conquer” as it depends on where they reside as to what is their biggest prize. It has changed throughout history and at one time, it was Vienna as the Islamic forces were stymied twice at their attempts to conquer this city. Things take on a different aspects and one’s view can become much clearer when the history and all the particulars are exposed, and Islam has to conquer the world and impose Islam as the predominant, actually only, faith and Allah the sole god for all of the earth otherwise the Quran claiming that the world would fall to Islam is in error. There is a way for the practitioners of Islam to alleviate the pressures of accomplishing the teachings of the Quran without world conquest, they simply need to choose the Meccan verses as predominant and the Medina verses as the lesser verses and void if they conflict with the Meccan verses. For an introduction to the differences and the reasons and purposes of these two separately written sets of verses, we have an introductory article with numerous links to other sources including some to a chronological version of the Quran as the actual Quran is not in chronological order, they arrange the verses from smallest to longest for easy memorization starting early in life. Meanwhile, we await this “Deal of the Century” and it will be just what the doctor ordered.

Abbas Reveals the Palestinian Demands

Mahmoud Abbas revealed to Russian President Vladimir Putin, “We state that from now on we refuse to cooperate in any form with the U.S. in its status of a mediator, as we stand against its actions.” This was a bit of an introduction to their real stance, which is actually no different than it has been since Yasser Arafat or Grand Mufti of Jerusalem Mohammed Amin al-Husseini (Arabic: محمد أمين الحسين); they want it all with no Jewish State, only an Arab Muslim state where the Jews accept Islamic superiority. In a recent speech commemorating fourteen years of the death of Yasser Arafat, his mentor, stated, “The ‘Deal of the Century’ will not pass and the fate of the land of Palestine will be decided by the Palestinian people.” These remarks were quoted by Channel 10 News which went further claiming, “We are remaining on our land and we will continue to act. Our flag will continue to be raised on the walls of Jerusalem as you always wanted,” referencing to Arafat. “The stage that the Palestinian people are going through is one of the most dangerous that has passed so far – the provocation that began with the Balfour Declaration has not yet ended. The occupation must end. You will not find one Palestinian who is willing to renounce the rights of the Palestinian people.” Abbas has also threatened to cut off all relations with Israel if an agreement is made between Israel and Hamas without his approval. He has already stated that there can be no agreement with which he would agree. Mahmoud Abbas has simply taken the position that he opposes any and every peace between Israel and anybody as he claims that all of the lands belong to the Palestinian Authority (PA) and thus Israel does not exist in his view of the world.

We have been listening to Abbas far too long while he has often made the claim that the PA only demands what is theirs, the 22% of the Mandate. Whenever he has made this claim, the Media misrepresented his demand by claiming that the 22% is simply the areas of Gaza, Samaria and Judea, the region of the Shomron beyond the Green Line, as they described his demands for the pre Six Day War lines which are the 1949 Armistice Lines between Jordan and Israel. This is actually inaccurate as these regions while close to 22%, are not the 22% that Abbas demands. What has to be noted is that he claims 22% of the Mandate. When one goes back to the British Mandate and checks the divide between the Arab State and the Jewish State along the Jordan River, delegated 78% of the British Mandate was reserved for Jordan, the Arab State, leaving 22% of the Mandate for the Jewish State, Israel. This is Abbas’s claimed 22% as the word Mandate is referencing the divide between Jordan and Israel in the lands promised by the British when they reached the agreement with the Zionist Congress (see map below). Abbas simply wants the 22% of the Mandate which is Israel. Until the truth of the claims by Mahmoud Abbas and other Arab leaders, who will claim the same demands, the replacement of Israel with an Arab Muslim State with the Jews cared for as Dhimmi initially and eventually the Jews will meet the same end as did the Jews of Medina, the Banu Qurayza. Meanwhile, President Trump has been giving signals that his ‘Deal of the Century’ will soon be made public and that neither side will be happy with everything but they will each also like parts and all will see immediately the reasons for the compromises in the deal. All this attention begs a question, why is Israel so important that the whole world appears to revolve around Jerusalem?

Palestine denoted to be the Jewish State later named Israel

There is a reason why everything around Israel is so important, but one has to look deeply into the history and the positions and why reaching an agreement will signal a seismic shift in the Arab and Islamic view of the world and not merely Israel. We hope that the rest of the world realizes that Israel is not going to surrender and just hope and pray that the Arabs will treat them humanely. So, if an agreement is ever reached, it will signal an acceptance of the Jews to live in peace and security in their ancient homelands, or at least most of their ancient homeland. Such an agreement will signal that Islam in general and Arabs in particular have compromised on their claim that all lands which have ever come under Islamic control, and specifically Arab control, must always remain under Islamic (Arab) rule and must never be permitted to be ruled by any other. What makes Israel even more important in signaling such a change is because the Arabs and many Muslims have a particularly deeper hatred of Jews than any other group of unbelievers. One could logically reach the conclusion that it would be more readily possible that the Christian, Buddhist, Hindu and other religious groups, including secular humanists, could reach an accord of mutual respect than it will ever be for Israel to reach such an acceptance. We would have to, quite reluctantly and unfortunately, agree that this is very likely quite valid. This is why Israel makes the perfect test case. Let us look at the positions of the various groups.

The PA claims they simply desire what is theirs, everything. They claim that they will treat the Jews honestly, which is something we fear with good reason. We know that as Dhimmi there will be demanded that we pay a Jiyza, a tax on the unbelievers in return for which they remain protected. There is no upper limit to the Jiyza which means that at some point the demand could be all of one’s possessions. After that, the Jews would no longer be capable of paying any future Jiyza demand which would remove the obligation to protect the Jews and we all know what follows losing protection. This is the point where the demand becomes convert or die. Still, we would live longer under the PA than we would Hamas. Hamas does not mince words, they simply want to kill every Jew on the planet, and off the planet if we should head out into space. We could find a place where it is obvious from space that we would belong, call it the mythical Planet Israel (depicted below). Of course there is no such myth just as it is highly unlikely that such a planet exists, though most physicists claim that if you can think it, then it probably exists somewhere out in the deepest recesses of space. But the Hatred which the leaders of Hamas express is presumably held throughout much of the Islamic world. So, let us move on to Iran which, while Islamic, is not purely Arab as it is the former state of Persia. The empire which was built by Cyrus the Great who liberated the Jewish People from their exile in Babylon and allowed them to return to their homeland and instructed them to rebuild the Temple in Jerusalem. That is not the view of the current rulers in Persepolis, oh, sorry, Tehran, as they wish to wipe Israel off the map, or at least this was the wish of their past President, Ahmadinejad. The former Prime Minister of Malaysia, Muhammad Mahathir, is another Islamic leader who has expressed desires to be rid of Israel. The general level of animosity against Israel, and also by many against the United States, was in full evidence when President Trump announced the United States intention to move their embassy to Jerusalem recognizing that Jerusalem was, is and always will be the Capital City of Israel and much of the Islamic world broke out in riots, some staged but most were an actual result of the anger of Muslims worldwide. That was a further proof of the reason that no Arab or Muslim nation is supposed to recognize Israel. It was all placed in the Khartoum Convention and the Three No’s, “No peace with Israel, no recognition of Israel, no negotiations with Israel.” That was the decision of the Arab League after their meeting in September of 1967, and was their official position after their loss in the Six Day War with Israel gaining territory which included the Sinai Peninsula, which was returned to Egypt, who released their claim to Gaza, when their peace was reached with Israel. For making this peace, Egypt was evicted from the Arab League for quite a period and Egyptian President Anwar Sadat was assassinated by members of his own military while watching a pass in review of some troops. Later, Jordan also reached peace with Israel releasing their claims to all lands beyond the Jordan River, though they later reneged on that claiming they meant that they gifted those lands to Yasser Arafat and the PLO, a terrorist organization.

Planet Israel

Planet Israel

In many ways, Abbas took down the couching of their demands and came out stating that the Palestinian Arabs will remain steadfast in claiming the entirety of the Mandate Lands. He has also stated that should Israel reach an accord ending the Gaza violence and rioting along the border that he will break off all negotiations with Israel. Well, that is just wonderful, except one need ask, what negotiations is he speaking of which he will break off? There are no negotiations between the PA and Israel for him to break off, unless he means his repeated denunciations of President Trump and claiming that the United States is no longer an unbiased arbitrator and will be rejected by the PA. Maybe he means his referencing that he would be glad to accept the United Nations General Assembly or similar international group deciding the solution to the Arab-Israeli Conflict. For Israel, that would be like one-hundred-ten wolves and three sheep with thirty or forty cows with ten bulls running for the high ground all deciding what will be on the menu for dinner, and everyone except the sheep are voting sheep or vacating as fast as possible so as not to be dessert. Abbas has been pushing his desire for the conflict solution to be internationalized as he, and we, know what that would bring, the end of Israel. But the only problem we know will be the result is that nobody will ever notice the complete refusal of Abbas to accept anything short of Israel erased and his being placed as the potentate over the new Arab nation of Palestine. We can understand the world ignoring his demand as we have people in Israel who are unaware of his demands simply through willful blindness. Apparently, willful blindness is a politically based disease which goes along with certain political position of which in Israel the Two-State Solution is by far the largest group representing this malady. It is not that Israel would not have accepted a Two-State Solution as we accepted the offered divide offered by the United Nations in 1947 which the Arab League refused instead opting to destroy Israel at her birthing in May of 1948. The Arab League had a half-dozen Arab armies attacked Israel along with numerous militias and volunteers from numerous other nations and assistance by officers from both sides of World War II as advisors. They failed to crush Israel but they did take Gaza and the Shomron (Jordan’s West Bank annexation which they released in their peace with Israel as noted above). We accepted it again with generous offers in 1999-2000 under the auspices of President Willian Jefferson Clinton and again in 2008 with the help of President George W. Bush, the first refused by Yasser Arafat, the second refused by Mahmoud Abbas (Arafat in a suit). Israel had been residing in peace with her Arab neighbors before Egypt and Syria allied with Jordan invaded Israel starting the Six Day War. An uneasy peace continued until the forces from Egypt and Syria attacked starting the Yom Kippur War. The Arabs decided after these two losing efforts by open warfare, they needed to change the equation. This is when they fully backed the efforts of the PLO terror group. This effort changed the worldview from the Arabs as Goliath and the Jews as David to the Arabs as David and the Jews cast as Goliath. The world had absolutely no problem accepting the new venue which cast the Jews as the oppressors instead of the weaker side in the conflict. This has been the situation but now that Abbas has laid out his hand claiming the demand for Israel to be completely destroyed and replaced by an Arab Islamic state with him as the absolute leader, we could hope that somebody out in the greater world will sit up and take notice, but we will not be holding our breath.

Israel Negotiations with Islam Fruitless

President Trump believes that by substituting the nation of Jordan for the Palestinian Authority (originally the PLO terror organization led by Yassir Arafat) as the coming solution known euphemistically as “The Deal of the Century” also known as President Trump’s grand solution, it will bring peace. We may remember that during the campaigns, both the primaries and the Presidential elections hearing candidate Trump making the grand claim the he would be the man who would solve the Arab-Israeli Conflict. We thought he was being presumptuous then and we think his idea of using Jordan is an equally grand pipe dream. Israel made peace with Jordan under their former King, Hussein bin Talal (Arabic: الحسين بن طلال) back in 1994 and back then Jordan released their claims to the Shomron (a.k.a. West Bank) which Jordan had illegally annexed in around 1951 after having taken it during the 1948-9 War of Intent to Eradicate the Nascent Jewish Aberration (a.k.a. Israel’s War of Independence). Interestingly, Jordan, Egypt, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Lebanon and the remainder of Arab militias and national contingents attacking Israel the morning of her birth had this strange concept. They all believed that the lines drawn on the proposal from the United Nations General Assembly contained in UNGA Resolution 181 were the defined front lines dividing the Arab world from the Zionist Entity. International Law believed, immediately after the Arab League refused the offer under UNGA Res. 181 voiding the entire offer making it as if it never had existed, believed the border of Israel in the east was the Jordan River. This means that according to International Law, the border for the Jewish State of Israel at the crack of dawn of May 15, 1948 included all of the Shomron and all of the Gaza Strip as it was called back in the day as their basis was the British Mandate borders (see map below). The war’s Arab intent was best described by Azzam Pasha, Secretary-General of the Arab League as follows: “It will be a war of annihilation. It will be a momentous massacre in history that will be talked about like the massacres of the Mongols or the Crusades.” Obviously, as Israel still exists, something went terrible wrong with the Arab plans.

British Mandate with its division between an Arab State of Jordan and Palestine denoted to be the Jewish State later named Israel

British Mandate with its division between an Arab State of Jordan and

The result of this war, Egypt had control of the Gaza Strip and Jordan had control of the Shomron. Egypt controlled the Gaza Strip but never annexed the region nor provided the Arabs residing within Egyptian citizenship and left them as people with no actual country but as a protectorate of Egypt. Jordan, on the other hand, did annex the Shomron and renamed it West Bank, as the name Shomron was far too Jewish. They also extended full citizenship to all the occupants within and permitted free movement between the two sides of the Jordan River. Jordan even went further and gave many prominent Jordanians deeds to lands which had belonged to the Jews who had been dispossessed and forced from these now Arab lands. Further, the Jordanians also forced numerous thousands of their own citizens into the West Bank in order to cement their claims, almost tripling the number of residents. Only the British and Pakistanis recognized the Jordanian annexation of the Shomron while the rest of the world, including the Arab League, all refused to recognize the Jordanian move. This is an illegal act under International Law as the lands west of the Jordan River were gained as a result of an offensive war against Israel. Their claim was that the border was not the Jordan River but the result of UNGA Res. 181, but as we explained, the Arab League’s rejection of this resolution voided it and it has no legal standing. Yet time and again, the Arab World will pull out the map showing the planned borders of that resolution and demand that it be enforced as now they fully accept it and thus it is revived from its posthumous state. Fortunately, the enforcers of International Law, the World Court System, recognize UNGA Res. 181 as merely the vitrified remains of a proposal which was sunk by the Arab League’s rejection as do the Arabs which is why they have never challenged the legal borders of Israel, as they know the result will be the Jordan River.

When Israel and Jordan reached their agreement, just like Egypt surrendered their illegally held Gaza Strip, Jordan surrendered their illegally held Shomron. Then afterwards they made a grand announcement that their surrender of the West Bank had been to the PLO and not to Israel after Yasser Arafat threw a fit. Now we need take a look at the PLO which was formed in 1964 and not as a result of the Six Day War as the propaganda of its mythological beginnings likes to claim. The PLO was the brainchild of the KGB who assigned two of the top spots to their protégés, Yassir Arafat and Mahmoud Abbas, who both came from their training in Moscow. The KGB worked with the Arab League and a number of Arab nations and this was the beginning of the Palestinian Arabs. Previous, when referring to the Palestinians, one was referring to the Jews, as the Arabs were known as Egyptians, Syrians, Iraqis, Jordanians, and Saudi Arabians, or simply as Arabs. The KGB had planned well as they now used the fact that there existed a history of the Palestinians in the land which was the history of the Jewish residents under the British Mandate. By repetition they adopted the entirety of the Jewish history which called the Jews Palestinians and now they simply claimed that it meant Arab and the Jews were never in the lands until after World War II, a complete and total fabrication, but claiming the Jews came from Europe after the Holocaust and the world run by the British and Americans planted their unwanted Jewish refugees from the camps in the middle of Arab lands in order to destroy all the Arab lands. Never mind the 1917 Balfour Declaration, the 1920 San Remo Conference, the 1920 Treaty of Sèvres, the 1922 League of Nations Mandate System, and Article 80 of the United Nations Charter which made the United Nations responsible for enforcing the Mandate System exactly as applied when enacted by the League of Nations. All of these items came well before World War II and were mostly as an action where the European victors of World War I were seeking how to distribute the lands that they had won without actually taking the lands. There were also treaties which completely restructured Eastern Europe cutting up the German and Austro-Hungarian Empires. The Middle East and North Africa (MENA) were not the sole places which were altered as a result of the end of World War I and one of the main concepts behind these restructurings of borders was to return lands to their original existing indigenous peoples.

There were some exceptions such as the Kurdish People had been promised they were to receive lands in northern regions of Iraq but the finds of sizable oil fields in the Mosul region and a favorable agreement between Getty and the King of Iraq led to Britain simply granting Iraq rule over the Kurdish regions and the Kurds were cheated by the British out of their own promised homeland. When the Kurds recently took a vote and over 90% of their people demanded they declare independence, the United States threatened they could not support such a move with military aid as it was inconvenient at this time according to the United States State Department. Israel had backed Kurdish independence and told them that they would regret not taking this opportunity. Somebody should have also told them that the State Department is not the department which controls weapons sales and providing people protection, that is the Department of Defense. Since their choosing not to declare independence the Kurdish People have been under constant assaults by Iraqi and Iranian forces in northern Iraq and sweeping Turkish attempts at a genocide in northern Syria. The Kurds and the World will regret not granting the Kurds their required needs to make a free and democratic nation in the heart of the Middle East.

Now we are hearing that President Trump is about to make one intelligent move and one far less so. The first is going to be announce that the United States rejects Palestinian ‘Right of Return’ and puts a shot through the heart of UNWRA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East). What the State Department recently found was that the numbers of actual refugees, who remain of their original populations, not including their five or more million offspring since 1948, is estimated to be in the low tens of thousands. The United States claims these refugees should be placed within the Department of the United Nations High Commission for Refugees which should address the situation as per the same rules as for all refugees, honest and real and not manufactured refugees, the problem will be completed within five years. This is the first time anybody has dared to claim that the Palestinian Arabs as normal people and not as the most privileged individuals who are so far and away more important than anybody else and even beyond imagination. Still, Jordan as a replacement will produce difficulties, so now let us get down to the real business.

The first and very important item is that, as aforementioned, Jordan and Israel reached a peace treaty back in 1994 and in that peace Jordan released their claim to the Shomron. Former Jordanian ambassador Walid has presumably resurrected Jordan’s long-dormant claims to sovereignty in the disputed territories that completely undermine those of the PLO which was presumably inferred in this following statement:

“First of all, the unity of the West Bank with the East Bank was officially and constitutionally adopted on 24 of April 1950. No one disputes this fact. The Constitution of the country at the time was the 1952 Constitution, which stipulated in no uncertain terms that no part of the Kingdom shall be ceded, period. This provision makes the 1988 decision to cut off all legal and administrative relations between the two banks stopping short of ceding the West Bank to any side whatsoever. Any other interpretation of the 1988 political decision is absolutely untenable constitutionally.”

The first disputed statement was his claim that, “No one disputes this fact.” In reference to his statement that, “West Bank with the East Bank was officially and constitutionally adopted on 24 of April 1950.” Only, as previously stated, Pakistan and Britain recognized the Jordanian claim to the Shomron, even as the West Bank, as the world either had ulterior motives, such as the Arab League and Arab nations, or were aware of the invalid claim of annexing lands conquered in the Arab World’s offensive war of 1948-9. The entireties of the Palestinian Arab assertions are for a singular purpose, to destroy the entirety of the Jewish State. The original charter of the PLO laid absolutely no claim to the Shomron claiming that as it was part of Jordan and already in the hands of Islam, they had no problems with that situation, instead they laid claim to the entirety of Israel. Furthermore, the PLO charter did not claim they desired a Palestinian State and made no mentions of Palestine except that this was the lands in which Israel resided. Their intent was to turn all of the lands of Israel over to Jordan once they had eliminated the Zionist presence. It was not until after the Six Day War in June of 1967 that the PLO laid claim for liberating not only the original lands of Israel but also the Shomron. Their intent was still to claim these lands for existing Arab nations.

It was in 1993 with the Oslo Accords that the idea was broached to the PLO demanding their state of Palestine in the regions of the Shomron and Gaza for the state of Palestine. This concept was very likely suggested by Terje Larsen, a Norwegian sociologist, and Yossi Beilin, a member of Israel’s Labor Party during the earliest and secret negotiations carried out without the knowledge of the Israeli Knesset and only to select extreme left politicians one of which was Simon Peres. The Israeli government was quite shocked when the signing was brought to the Knesset as a complete deal backed by the United States State Department, the European Union, and numerous European leftists with a heavy representation from the Norwegians who provided the secret meetings in the earlier negotiations. We have often mentioned the European desire to find a means of destroying Israel and forcing the Jewish People back into the subservient position they once held where they lived and died on the whims of Christian and Islamic rulers. The concept of armed and proud Jews is an unimaginable and frightful presence to these paranoid delusionals. One of the claims is that Israel poses a threat to the world and especially the Europeans and Islamic worlds with its central location (see map). The paranoia and over-hyping of the presence of Israel and it presumably being the largest and most threatening nation on the Earth is beyond fantasy and well into the ludicrous. This effort by President Trump could be the final and last gasp of the entire Palestinian indigenous people and ancient nation of Palestine hoax.

Israel Compared to Europe and the Islamic World is Really Such a Threat?

Israel Compared to Europe and the Islamic World
is Really Such a Threat?

The Palestinian drive to destroy Israel has reached a point where the world is getting completely fed up with the rejectionism of every deal no matter how generous. Ehud Barak even went to the point that he offered over 90% of the Shomron and even included East Jerusalem which was meeting everything which Yassir Arafat had told President Clinton was acceptable and would bring peace. Arafat stomped out the next morning rushing past everyone including the media and out the door, into his limo and straight to the airport and back to Jordan where he then returned to his office and began the implementation of the Second Intifada which he unleashed in the fall of 2000. Ehud Olmert made a similar offer to Mahmoud Abbas which was refused without offering any counter deal. It has become more than plainly obvious that the only deal the Arabs will agree to make is the complete removal of Israel from the map. The Khartoum Resolution of September 1967 where the “Three No’s” were agreed upon, “No peace with Israel, No recognition of Israel, No negotiations with Israel,” defined all dealings with Israel and the Jordanian peace was used to insert the Palestinian plan for Israeli destruction. This concept was simple where the idea was to change the appearance from Israel against the entirety of the Arab World to the Palestinian against the superpower Israel. It worked better than they could have ever hoped, for a while until it all started falling apart. The aggressive hatred of Trump which has been overly obvious and expressed in no uncertain words by Mahmoud Abbas and Saab Erekat and the Palestinian Authority’s absolute and complete rejection of United Stated mediation has bought them real problems. Their position has been lain bare showing that their only peace with Israel is an Israeli grave, and that means the entirety of the Israeli non-Islamic populations. This has bought them being circumvented by President Trump who has now rested his hopes on Jordan.

Initially, the Jordanians rejected replacing the Palestinian Authority in negotiations, telling President Trump’s representatives that they could not in good conscience represent the Palestinians as only the Palestinian Authority was capable of being their true representatives. President Trump then sought out Egypt and Saudi Arabia and both initially sounded much more promising. Following statements by both nations then revealed that they would not agree to anything which was less than exactly what Mahmoud Abbas wished for. All of these games could not have set well with Trump as he is more of a straight forward, tell me the reality and do not play games about it. There is no way we can know what President Trump used to change the minds of the leaders and King of Jordan. Whatever he used, it will not avail him in the end, as Jordanian leaders and even the King of Jordan are answerable to the Arab League and other higher institutions all of which will only accept the end of Israel as the Jewish State. We hope for their sake they do not tell President Trump that the Jews need to return to the nations from whence they or their families originally resided. This should go over well as President Trump is aware that half of the Israeli population originated in the Arab world and that Israel absorbed 850,000 Jewish refugees who were ejected from their homes in nations within MENA and many of these families have resided in these lands for generations many for over two thousand years. This was due to the Roman dispersion of the Jews around the year 135 A.D. which included all of the Middle East and Northern Africa. We would love for there to be peace and have suggested that the Palestinians could be given the opportunity to reside within Israel as resident aliens by signing a non-belligerence statement and also have the option to be well reimbursed for their properties and an additional relocation bonus for signing a non-return statement. What should be done about those who refuse both offers? They would need to be treated as belligerents which might prove to be a very unwise choice. Belligerents would simply be granted three times to choose one or the other and if they persist in complete refusal and continue to claim that their only acceptable end to their violence would be the end of Israel, well, they would be invited in a very strong and persistent manner to leave. Should they turn to violence, well, violence begets violence. The only end to this problem which is a war by other means is for one side to be able to declare victory. Israel needs to declare victory and give the Palestinians their choice as to how they wish to be treated. It must be made clear that this is a final situation and there will be no further debate or negotiations, Israel is simply declaring victory. First, let us see how well President Trump and his efforts prove to be. Should they fail, and they most likely will, then Israel must declare victory and end the charade of a Palestinian Arab People whose nation was conquered by Israel. The lands they claim were Palestine were Gaza which was held by Egypt and the Shomron which was illegally claimed by Jordan. There was no Palestine at the time of any of the Arab-Israeli Wars, not in 1948-9, not in 1967 and not in 1973. That is the reality and it is time to apply reality.
