A World Turned Upside-Down

Vladimir Lenin stated a truth which should frighten every intelligent mind in the free world when he stated, “Give me four years to teach the children and the seed I have sown will never be uprooted.” The seed of which Lenin spoke was Marxist Communism which he was to impose upon all of Russia. This “Evil Empire,” thank you Ronald Reagan for that title, lasted almost until 1990 before they, as Margaret Thatcher stated, “ran out of other people’s money.” This was recorded as the sudden and unanticipated fall of the USSR and the empire they built in Eastern Europe under the Warsaw Pact. We remember telling a friend that we would believe that it was really failing when Romanian fell, as we understood that Nicolae Ceaușescu was not going to leave power willingly. We proved correct, as Nicolae Ceaușescu did not go without causing the bloodiest of the revolutions ending Communism for which he and his wife were hung on Christmas Day of 1989. But that was then and we are going to talk about now. So, what in this sweet world were we alluding to in out introduction?

This article was chosen as a result of an article titled “Violent threats to Jewish students at Stanford U.” The article was simply the page that broke the subject loose into the forefront of our minds. It is not all that unusual of an article, editorial to be more accurate, and that fact that it is not all that unusual, which drove the need to address this subject. The colleges many of us are aware have become hotbeds of radicalized mobs attacking any and all people who oppose their chosen agenda, thanks to the concept of “intersectionality,” when you support one leftist cause, you are in for all the leftist causes and only their causes. Heavens forbid that you will stand with them arm in arm for twenty or thirty different causes, but there is one cause with which you strongly disagree, or are even suspected of disagreement at any level; then you are out of the club and have become a target of the piety police. And do not think it is anything less than a religion with its own cannons and bylaws which if you step out of stride on any single element, you are basically excommunicated. You believe in marriage is for one man and one women, you are a hater, how can you hate so much. You are against abortion on demand at any stage of a pregnancy up to and even including at delivery, how can you hate so much. But there is one cause that you cannot even be ambivalent and can be guilty of opposition simply because of your religion. That cause is that of Islam, of the Palestinians to be more specific. If you are a Zionist, then you should be executed; if you support Israel’s right to exist, you should be executed; and if you are Jewish, then you are suspect and must prove how much you hate Israel or face excommunication from the leftist cause of the day group. Being a Jew is cause enough for you to be hated and it is not considered racism or actually really a hate crime despite the legal fact that anti-Semitism is included as a form of hate crime. The reason is they are not holding you guilty as a Jew but as one who supports Israel which is assumed of all Jews who did not exclaim publically their hatred of the Jewish State on your first few seconds on campus. Only Jews need be so definitive about the pro-Palestinian cause. Jews cannot claim they are undecided or have never given it any thought because you were so interconnected in the leftist cause of your choice and had assumed that qualified you under intersectionality and nothing more was necessary. But no, this is because Jews are automatically guilty until proven completely engrossed in the pro-Palestinian cause.

Now some are going to claim that being anti-Zionist or anti-Israel is not the same as being anti-Semitic. That is such a poor and weak argument that it hardly deserves proof of its lack of validity. The very first question we would like to ask is, are you anti-China? You’re not anti-China but you are anti-Zionist or anti-Israel. Oh, you have a reason to be anti-Zionist and/or anti-Israel and it is because the Israelis have stolen the Palestinians’ land and destroyed Palestine. Well, don’t you feel for the people of Tibet? China has committed actual Crimes Against Humanity after violently conquering Tibet by forcibly relocating Tibetans all across rural China to destroy their nationality and religious beliefs and forced Chinese to move into Tibet and stole lands and farms giving them to Chinese who were relocated to Tibet. China has co-opted Buddhism by appointing their own Dali Lama in an attempt to subvert Tibetan Buddhism. None of this apparently bothers all these people who worry about the Palestinian Arabs who came from Palestine, which is an invented people, and an invented country, which never existed. Palestine is a reference to a Roman Province called Syria Palaestina (see map of Roman Provinces below). The myth was furthered when the British, never known for their pro-Jewish stance with the one notable exception when they issued the Balfour Declaration (which started quite a stir in Britain), when they referred to the area west of the Jordan River as Palestine. Of course, at that time, they called the Jews Palestinians and they referenced the Arabs as Arab or Syrian, Egyptian, Lebanese, Iraqi, Turk, Yemenite, Saudi or according to whatever Arab nation they originated. The fact that the Jews were referred to as the Palestinians was one of the reasons the Arabs chose that denotation such that they could then literally steal the entire history of the Jews since the mid 1800’s when the first Zionists started to arrive. Before the mid 1800’s the area was often referred to as the Holy Lands just as frequently as anything else but the Roman name stood largely for the European usage. The reality is China swallowed and entire nation with thousands of years of culture and independence and the Free Tibet movement does not even qualify one for inclusion through intersectionality but Israel reestablishing their proper boundaries in the Six Day War when they liberated regions occupied by Jordan, the Shomron (West Bank), and Egypt, Gaza, while also occupying the Golan Heights from Syria and the Sinai Peninsula from Egypt. Israel returned the Sinai Peninsula to Egypt when they reached a peace agreement and Egypt released any claim to the previously occupied areas of Gaza. When Israel made their peace with Jordan, Jordan released their claim to the Shomron only to retract that later and claim they actually gave it to the Palestinians for their new nation. The truth is as we have posted in endless maps but we will include one with the British and French Mandates below and the border between Arab Jordan and Jewish Israel could not be made any more clear that it is the Jordan River and that was the intent from day one. Our apologies to our regular readers who have memorized these maps by now, thank you for your patience.

We recently talked about a disturbance with a pro-Israel students meeting where pro-Palestinian activists and other leftists invaded the small room and shouted down the meeting bringing it to an untimely end in our article “Truth is Often Completely Different and Unfortunate,” which includes a video of the event. The students who were actual attendees at this meeting needed police escorts to leave the building as the protesters had blocked the exits to the building. Whether they intended to use violence at that point against the pro-Israel students is uncertain but many felt threatened. Anti-Israel events at colleges and universities across Europe, the United States and Canada are well known and have become yearly events and common. Pro-Israel events are far more rare mostly due to threats of violence causing cancellation of speakers or even scheduled events. Further, when a pro-Israel event is held, there will almost always be a large, threatening protest using multiple bullhorns and whistles. Often violence is actually threatened and almost without exception, the police close the scheduled pro-Israel event and escort the pro-Israel attendees away while an anti-Israel event then replaces it unbothered by authorities. This result on all too many college and university campuses is far too predictable and common and virtually all end with the Pro-Israel side being silenced, just as the pro-Islam, pro-Palestinian side with the floor to broadcast about their recent victory over the Zionist agents. I have attended “Free Tibet” protests and they have been remarkably well behaved and no pro-China people come to try and destroy the protest. In the same vein, we all desire for the “Free Israel” as the true occupation is by largely Jordanian, Egyptian and Syrian Arabs who are in realty occupying lands which legally belong to Israel. That apparently is not the point.

This problem has spread further and is now invading High Schools and Middle (Junior High) Schools. The problem has even reached the publishers of textbooks. Allow us to quote from this article Erasing Israel, “Publishing giant HarperCollins began 2015 by publicly apologizing for selling maps of the Middle East that omit Israel. The company insisted that erasing Israel from maps were necessary since displaying the reality of Israel’s existence would be ‘highly offensive’ to their customers in the Middle East region. The Israel-scrubbed maps were simply reflecting ‘local preferences’.” We just loved the excuse and have to wonder whether or not they labeled Tibet as existing or has it fallen into history, we can only hope not. This problem is not restricted to the United States as reported here, Britain was actually using a textbook where Israel was replaced and labeled “Occupied Palestine.” It doesn’t stop there at all. You are doing some research on a term paper on trade routs in the Mediterranean Sea and you look up the region on maps in a recent HarperCollins Atlas reported on here and you look to the eastern edge of the Mediterranean Sea and find Syria, Lebanon and Jordan all labeled and included and then an area between Jordan and the Sea and south of Lebanon which is nameless. We wonder, what country’s name was omitted from this atlas, oh, right, Israel (see map below). Quoting from another article Scholastic’s Map without Israel, “Scholastic Books, publisher of the Harry Potter series, and the world’s largest publisher of children’s titles, is stopping all shipments of its book Thea Stilton and the Blue Scarab Hunt. This will give them time to reprint the books, they’ve explained, which omitted Israel from a map of the modern Middle East.” What is interesting is this is the map the PLO desired originally as they claimed once they destroyed Israel from their bases inside Jordanian West Bank (Shomron) they were going to have it be adjoined to Jordan making Jordan complete. McGraw-Hill Education was forced, as reported here, to recall and destroy a textbook following criticism that four maps in the book are inaccurate and anti-Israel. The maps they utilized are a common propaganda map used by the pro-Palestinian activists and Arab nations to claim that before 1947 the area where Israel exists was the nation of Palestine. The historical problem is that it was part of the British Mandate and the region called Palestine was reserved for the Palestinians of that era which, as we stated above, were the Jews. At that time the Arabs were simply, once again, the Arabs. The Arabs did not become to be called by the name Palestinian until the founding of the PLO in 1964 which if you would like further information, simply place “PLO 1964 Beyond the Cusp” into any search engine and hopefully it will show the Palestinian Charter itself as well as a few of our articles. The maps they used show a dwindling Palestine being replaced by Israel (maps shown below), which is a false narrative as the area was never a nation with the name Palestine. There is no language of Palestine, no currency for Palestine, no President or Prime Minister before Yasser Arafat in 1964 in the PLO Charter instituted the idea of a nation called Palestine and no reference to a nation of Palestine on a valid map.

Shrinking Palestine Propaganda anti-Israel set of Four Maps

The entirety of their claims falls short of reality and is based on assuming Jewish history and claiming it as their own. They have claimed at one time or another to be the descendants of the Canaanites, Philistines, and other even more curious inventions. Quoting from Palestinian history fabricated, “Rewriting the history of the Land of Israel in order to deny Israel’s right to exist is central to Palestinian Authority (PA) policy. Long before it started the PA terror campaign (the “Intifada,” 2000-2005), the PA was fighting a history war – erasing Jewish history and replacing it with a fabricated Palestinian history. This rewriting has two central goals: 1- Erase the Jewish nation’s 3,000 year history in the Land of Israel; 2- Invent ancient Palestinian, Muslim and Arab histories in the land. Inventing thousands of years of history when none existed is accomplished through numerous distortions and lies, including changing the Biblical Canaanites into Arabs, changing Biblical Israelis, Judeans and Hebrews into Arabs and Muslims, changing the religion preached by Moses from Judaism into Islam, and changing Jesus into a Palestinian who preached Islam and not Christianity.” Quoting the PMW quoting Mahmoud Al-Habbash who said, “Today, here, we remember 6,000 years of Palestinianness of this land. Six thousand years since the Arab Canaanites built the city of Jerusalem (the Canaanites were not Arabs), even before our forefather Abraham reached this land. We were here not only before the settlements, we were here before Israel, and we were even here before the Jewish religion, before Judaism, before Christianity, and before Islam. The Palestinians were here and will remain here, and the foreigners will leave.” There are more examples here with videos here, here, here, here, and the video below as the cherry on top. We could continue to give these links as this is a common theme that the Jews were never here, went extinct and modern Jews are actually Europeans, ignoring that approximately half of the Israeli Jewish population came from Arab countries when they forced out 850,000 Jews between 1948 and 1959 plus the Jewish presence which has never left the land which Mark Twain commented on his visit to the Holy Land and Europe in his book “Innocents Abroad” where he described both on the Arabs there and the Jews residing there.

But none of this matters as the world has decided that Islam is to be respected and placed as superior to the outdated Judeo-Christian ethic. Islam is good because Islam also opposes Judaism and Christianity making it a friend to the leftists who also wish to free the world from Judeo-Christianity in any and all its forms. You cannot rid the world of such if Israel actually exists to remind the world about such unmodern and inconsequential things as the Ten Commandments and Hashem. After all, the Bible and the Constitution are old documents which could not have any relevance to this modern society. The self, the individual is the new creator of the world and the universe and all that is within it. Science is the new religion but science alone cannot defeat the old ways, so we need the new ways. Have any of these leftists read the Quran? Of course they have, it was in the booklet from the nice young man from the Mosque. It explains with quotes from the Quran that it is all about peace and acceptance and love and freedom and all those great things, anyway, it doesn’t matter because we will just rewrite it once we are in power. Yea, of course you will; how does one say this, a snowball’s chance in H***. They know nothing of the Quran or the fact that there are two Qurans, the one from the early days which has your quotes from Mecca, and one from the later days which replaces the first from Medina, so we need to as, Which Quran, Mecca or Medina? Perhaps you need a small lesson in a rule invoked many years after Muhammad had died where these Quranic verses were used to initiate the principles of Naskh (نسخ) which translates to mean Abrogation. “And when We substitute a verse in place of a verse – and Allah is most knowing of what He sends down – they say, ‘You, [O Muhammad], are but an inventor [of lies].’ But most of them do not know.” (Quran (16:101)) “Allah eliminates what He wills or confirms, and with Him is the Mother of the Book.” (Quran (13/39)) “And if We willed, We could surely do away with that which We revealed to you. Then you would not find for yourself concerning it an advocate against Us. (Quran (17/86)) And lastly “Then do they not reflect upon the Qur’an? If it had been from [any] other than Allah, they would have found within it much contradiction.” (Quran (4/82))

Muslims are instructed that when they are few in number and make up but a small minority, then they quote the Meccan verses of peace, inclusiveness and tranquility. Once they have a decent foothold and have collected converts, then they begin introducing the Medina verses. Eventually, this leads to their using intimidation, infiltration of specific areas such as education and law enforcement and then on to politics. For a more specific layout of the strategy and how percentage of population fits their actions, read our article “Islam from First Muslim to Total Control, Five Stages of Islamic Conquest” and then look around you carefully. What you will see may shock you or it may just send you straight to panic.

Truth is Often Completely Different and Unfortunate

We just finished reading this article by Alan Bergstein and felt this needs to explain things somewhat further. His theme is a valid one in that many within the Democrat Party, and we will give him Kudos for not calling it incorrectly the ‘Democratic’ Party, are defiantly anti-Israel and a vocal minority are fully anti-Semitic. He was correct in pointing out that the Democrat Party has their own enforcers who will protect the public from views which do not fit the extreme leftist agenda, and they are known as anti-FA, and whose tactics are closer to fascism than many of those they attempt to intimidate and otherwise silence. No, we do not support the alt-right, Nazis or any other extremist be they right or left wing extremes. We are pro-Israel and believe that the United States is a remarkable nation and a true experiment in the ability of humankind to rule themselves instead of depending upon a chosen elite. So, what can we add to the statements and accusation from Alan Bergstein’s article? Well, we know immediately what the objections would be coming, in particular from the Jewish tried and true Democrats, to everything Alan Bergstein pointed out, and that is ‘not my Representative’ and possibly Senators.

Right off the top, we will grant that your Representative to Congress, especially if your district is one of those which is predominantly Jewish, personally is pro-Israel, loves the Jewish People and shares your views as much as 90% and is right with you on every major topic. All of that matters not one iota once they get to Washington D.C. and this is one of those secrets they will not tell you about. But before we get to the conclusive results of how Washington works, allow us a chance to familiarize you with the nuts and bolts as we grew up inside the Beltway before there was a Beltway. We watched as Washington D.C. transformed from a sleepy little town with little real power to the center of power in the world itself all within twenty short and frenetic years. The first item you need know is that each bill which is brought before the Congress, and this goes for both the House and the Senate, reach the floor with three to five versions. Only one of these versions is slated to ever pass and proceed towards becoming law. The rest are written such that the majority of House and Senate members can vote for the bill which will have a poison pill in it making it unacceptable to the other Party, more often than not, the Republicans though they also do this slight of hand. Your Representative will vote for the version which has all the wonderful language and ideas which their constituents expect and adore. That bill will never really see the light of day beyond the one vote in which it is guaranteed not to pass. Then there is the golden bill which the powers that be in the party, be it Democrat or Republican, and on this bill, there is pressure put in place to have every legislator support the party position. Truth of the matter is the Republicans are really bad at party discipline but the Democrats have it down to a science. Very simply, if you do not desire facing a primary opponent backed by the National Committee, then you will do what the leader of the party instructs you to do, and if that means supporting the actual bill which your voters are against, well, then you vote against your supporters wishes in order to survive.

There was a Republican member of the House, Representative Jim Bridenstine, who was completely untamable and voted as his conscience and supporters desired. He came from Oklahoma District 1 which surrounds areas around Tulsa. The Republican Party ran their man against him when the former Representative, John Sullivan, retired and despite great efforts, Jim Bridenstine won the primary and then the election. The next few elections the Republicans put up candidate after candidate to destroy him and they lost one after another and Jim Bridenstine remained in Congress. Well, they just recently rid themselves of this honest man by appointing him to head NASA, a move the Democrats fought claiming he was not qualified to head NASA. They claimed that he was not a scientist with a PhD and was merely a Navy Pilot. So, apparently being a fair possibility to be an astronaut is not sufficient to head NASA, how interesting. Jim Bridenstine has college degrees, Rice University (BA) with majors in Economics, Psychology, and Business and Cornell University (MBA) and flew the E-2C Hawkeye aircraft as part of a carrier air wing (see image below). We thought that a Navy pilot, in particular a carrier pilot, with MBA degree and a BA in economics and psychology would make a great head for NASA and could be just the can-do attitude they could use to get them back into space and beyond Earth low-orbit, where they were concentrated with the Shuttle program and without even that ability when he was handed the keys. We will see how that turns out. The idea here to remember is that he was a Representative of his district who voted his conscience and not simply the party line, so they found something which they knew would appeal to him just to be able to place their own man in his place. Having lived in that district, we doubt they will succeed and will probably get another independent thinker in his place should one be made available. But that is how both parties operate, vote the party line when told to and forget all else or we will target you and be done with you one way or another.

E-2C Hawkeye

E-2C Hawkeye

Proof of this thinking can be found by simply going through the House or Senate voting on bills and the first thing you will note is that the Republicans have problems forcing the party to vote as one while the Democrats appear to have that down to a science. This was how Obamacare was passed and how the Trump agenda has been fought by the Democrats. An example was the vote taken on the Gorsuch nomination to the Supreme Court where all but three Democrats voted against his nomination and the three who voted in favor did so as it was a guaranteed affirmation and they reside in states which Trump won by double digits and desired some hope of surviving the next election. The reason for using the confirmation of Gorsuch was because most Supreme Court and other Presidential nominations are more often than not passed with both parties supporting the nominee as a form of respect for the President, something which went out the window after George W. Bush was elected and the Democrats started being a block in opposition no matter the nominee. There have been many votes where the Democrat Party basically cast there votes as if a single entity. This simply means that it does not matter what your elected Representative or Senate may state is their position, all that will matter in Washington D.C. is what the party desires. If you are in a conservative region such as fly-over country, yes, we resided there, and your Democrat is against abortion on demand paid for by the government or against partial birth abortion, as a Democrat they will vote in favor of such if their vote is required to pass legislation and their beliefs and your hopes become completely inconsequential. The Republicans have their demands such as support for individual ownership of firearms under the Second Amendment. But what about something we should all support?

Freedom of speech is presumably one of the five guarantees under the First Amendment along with Freedom of Religion (not freedom from religion), Freedom of the Press (media), Freedom to Petition the Government for Redress of Grievances, and Freedom of Assembly Peaceably. Freedom of speech is probably the one right guaranteed by the bill of Rights which virtually, if not, everybody would agree is basic to freedom and democracy as well as the American Republic. Yet this right is not an absolute on many a college and university campus. On numerous campuses, should a conservative speaker, or even a speaker whose politics is not known to be far left, is invited by the college Republicans, the Hillel, or even some group has rented to use a campus venue for their speaker whose politics are not perfectly in line with leftist ideology, there is almost a guarantee that the event will be protested so violently as to cause its cancellation. Other times even an approved college group will be disrupted and people even threatened and banners or flags destroyed by disrupters who prevent the meeting from continuing to do their business. Below is a video of the disruption and intimidation of the members of an SSI (Student Supporting Israel) event which it took close to eight months and the intervention of a legal aid group to get the university and the Irvine police to act against these lawbreakers. The aid from a legal group was also required in order to have any action taken against the leadership, which was provided from off campus, to be charged with disruption of a legal assembly. Their actions prevented freedom of speech and freedom to peaceably assemble, both First Amendment rights.

Here we have included a report of an individual’s encounter at such an event and a video where part of the chant claims they have absolute, and in the most stringent and vile terms, no use for police as they demand complete freedom, anarchy, mob rule, and that is how they operate, as mob rule with those willing to be the most violent are the ones who decide what is permitted. This article relates experiences and the required precautions necessitated one year later when they attempted to hold another pro-Israel event. The report tells of some of the taunts hurled at the pro-Israel supporters including, “You murdered Jesus” which is a common anti-Semitic blood libel. For a complete day or more of reading, all one need do is punch, ‘pro Israel event crashed by Palestinian activists’ into your browser and read away or go to watch the videos. Many of the videos are posted by the Palestinian protesters who are proud of their shutting down other people’s free speech but should somebody attempt to just hold a sign supporting Israel near one of their events, they should be prepared for intense intimidation. Below we are going to include a video from 2010 and an anti-Israel protest where sixteen-year-old ‘Daniel’ confronts lion’s den of haters to stand for the honor of Israel completely by himself. His staunch stand is unbelievable. The demonstration was over the Mavi Marmara incident with the Pro-Palestinian demonstrators claiming that the Israelis were murderers and when they interviewed the anti-Israel protesters you learned their ignorance on the issue.

These anti-Israel and pro-Islamic forces have united with the anti-FA and other violent groups working to destroy the United States and turn it in much the same fashion and using the same tactics as were used to destroy the nascent German Weimar Republic and the Russian February Bourgeois Democratic Revolution produced Russian Provisional Government, which was in the process of setting up a democratic state, when the October Revolution brought to power the Communists placing Vladimir Lenin in power; and the rest is, how do they say it, is history. These tactics are identical to the mob tactics of the SA and the Red Guard. The anti-FA claims that they are anti-fascists while claiming that the right and the conservatives are the fascists and these are who they are preventing from taking over the nation. Many claim they are wrong, but we give them partial-credit, as we are a kind bunch. They are correct in that they are against fascists in principle as their political beliefs fall into two categories, the international socialists, i.e. Communists, and the anarchists. Where they are wrong is the conservatives are not fascists which are usually interpreted as national-socialists. The conservatives are also forming two main groups plus a myriad of smaller factions. These groups are the Free-Capitalist, which include free-traders, fair-traders, entrepreneurs and Laissez-faire small government supporters, and the Corporatist-Capitalists who place the large corporations as their main concern believing that when those are healthy; the nation will be healthy (also supporting the idea of trickle-down economics).

The problem on the left of center is that currently there is this huge gap between the center and the current political power over the Democrat Party. There is this code; one could call it a law set upon the leftists where they must be in the form of the Musketeers, all for one and one for all. They call this ‘intersectionality’ which means if you are in any one leftist cause, Women’s rights, pro-Palestinian, anti-FA, anarchist, communist, Occupy Wall Street, Black Lives Matter or any of the other approved leftist thought patterns, then you are honor bound to support every other leftist group and they will in turn support you and this guarantees that every protest will be well attended, and of late well armed and guarded by the masked and hooded hoodlums in black. That is the positive side of the meaning of intersectionality, but it has a less positive and exclusionary and thought control side. You can be a supporter of gay rights and the entire LGBTQ agenda, women’s rights, socialist, and a slew of other left wing and leftist thoughts, but you have this small imperfection, apparently the one which can never be forgiven, you are not pro-Palestinian and actually support Israel. Supporting Israel is the one cause which will have you removed from the leftist track faster than any other breach of their protocol. For example, three people carrying Jewish Pride flags were asked to leave the Chicago Dyke March on Saturday in part because they “repeatedly expressed support for Zionism,” according to the organizers. From the same article, “They were telling me to leave because my flag was a trigger to people that they found offensive,” Laurel Grauer said. “Prior to this [march], I had never been harassed or asked to leave and I had always carried the flag with me.” Another person who was asked to leave told the Windy City Times that she was made to feel that “as a Jew, I am not welcome here.” Here is where intersectionality is splitting people from certain causes because they are the wrong kind of people, the wrong kind of people who are all too familiar with such a designation and know that once this split starts, it will lead down the same road it has led down for three thousand plus years. Where Linda Sarsour is not alone in this application of intersectionality, she was for a while, until things got a little too warm and close to the truth, the most outspoken of the women’s march against President Trump on Inauguration Day where Zionist women were turned away as unwanted at a number of the separate cities’ events around the nation. We did some coverage of her views while covering other acts of anti-Semitism such as the attack on a Kippah wearer in Berlin.

The reality is that the Democrat Party has lost their control over the little problems they tempted which have now become looming monsters controlling much of the Democrat agenda. These are some of the groups listed above which simply refuse to accept Trump as their President. Still, if you were to take a group of leftists and a group of Jewish opposition to Trump who wanted to wear Israeli flags as part of their attire, the two groups would not be capable of marching together. The extreme left is turning against Israel and will, in time, turn against the Jews and all the while there will be Jews supporting these movements and voting their representatives into office. What is amazing is that quite often the beginning of these movements for greater individual rights and guarantees that everyone receive equitable treatment are started by or originally supported by the majority of Jews. The Civil Rights movement worked with the Jews and Dr. Martin Luther King even stated the view that anti-Zionism is a form of anti-Semitism, and we know this is disputed and would like to present our research and the work of a researcher we trust. The following comes from Martin Kramer in Sandbox on March 12, 2012.

Shortly before he was assassinated, Martin Luther King, Jr. was in Boston on a fund-raising mission, and I had the good fortune to attend a dinner which was given for him in Cambridge. This was an experience which was at once fascinating and moving: one witnessed Dr. King in action in a way one never got to see in public. He wanted to find what the Negro students at Harvard and other parts of the Boston area were thinking about various issues, and he very subtly cross-examined them for well over an hour and a half. He asked questions, and said very little himself. One of the young men present happened to make some remark against the Zionists. Dr. King snapped at him and said, “Don’t talk like that! When people criticize Zionists, they mean Jews. You’re talking anti-Semitism!”

The Jews were amongst some of the leadership in the early and through much of the civil rights movement but in the same areas today, we find Black Lives Matter who are closely tied to the BDS movement against Israel and stridently Caucasian phobic shouting down any white speaker at a combined event last year. Louis Farrakhan and his Nation of Islam have also become more prominent in the leftist and black communities having connections to three of the organizers for the Women’s Day March in Washington D.C. Even Valerie Jarret, Barack Obama, and the Congressional Black Caucus have had their close ties to Louis Farrakhan without having to show the slightest remorse and in some cases an even ‘what you going to do about it’ attitude. The following outtake is from the June 12, 2018 American Thinker article titled “Democrats Need Anti-Semites to Win.”

Politically progressive Jews are also being ostracized by like-minded peers “because of their support, or even just presumed support, for Israel,” the report says: “Jewish students report being rejected from progressive social justice activities such as pro-choice rallies, anti-rape demonstrations, Black Lives Matter events and racial justice conferences.”

We could continue to quote parts from articles from all too many sources including The Federalist, Frontpage Mag, The Seattle Times and possibly the most damning piece for Leftist and Left Wing Jews Accuracy in Media. The sad truth is the Democrat Party is now completely subjoined to the far left and pure leftists and these groups hate Israel and only will tolerate those Jews they can use to be elected and have campaigns funded, after that, at some point, they will have no need even for those Jews and they will find themselves where the Jews have found themselves too many times before. What is remarkable is it is exactly this anti-Semitism which is the final argument for the necessity of Israel.

Modernizing the Israeli Haredi Community

The modernization of the Israeli Haredi community is not simply an objective but an absolute necessity. The problem comes down to simple mathematics. As the Haredi community has grown, they have become a larger and larger percentage of the Israeli population. If there is one thing we have learned, it is that there is a critical point beyond which the rest of the population becomes unable to produce sufficient wealth that they can take care of another portion of the community. Those numbers differ depending on numerous variables, but once the dependent populations clears 40%, let alone reach 50%, they become an overt and unbearable burden on the remainder of the population and other government services such as defense begin to suffer catastrophically. For this reason, the Haredi community needs to be pulled, voluntarily or kicking and screaming, into the mainstream working population. For a model of such one need look no further than the United States where the Haredi communities not only work, pulling their own weight, as well as studying Torah and are amongst some of the wealthiest and most productive Jewish communities. The same model can be duplicated in Israel and still permit for the top and most promising Torah scholars to study Torah as their work financed by the charity of others or the government, something which can be hammered out once the Haredi show their promise to have the majority join the normative society.

The initial step in this direction comes by including the Haredi in military service. This would begin by passing a draft law which would make Haredi men eligible to be drafted with a small but relatively sizable percentage allowed being exempted as Torah scholars. This percentage should not exceed 10% though initially it could be set as high as 25% and brought down from there. For those Haredi not exempted but adamantly opposed to service in the IDF, they can be given the standard option of National Service. This will require the IDF remain hospitable to religious soldiers and reverse the somewhat recent trend to impose secular standards upon religious soldiers. This has apparently come about as the high command appeared to be attempting to break the will of the more religious soldiers, something which should never happen within the Jewish Army. There could be combined religious-Haredi brigades or even a complete division. The catch is currently the religious Zionists when enlisting often request longer service periods in order to serve in the most prestigious special brigades such as the Nahal Brigade, the Paratroopers Brigade and the Sayeret Matkal as well as the other Special Forces units. It is unlikely that the entirety of the Haredi would desire to enter such units and their percentages in each area of service are more likely to mirror the rest of Israeli draftees.

The difficulty in bringing this concept to fruition has been the simple political fact; the Haredi Parties within the coalition have the numbers to bring elections and thus can resist any draft law which requires Haredi service. This is one of the difficulties with parliamentary coalition governments; they are only as strong as their most disruptive link. The coalition system has presumed advantages though when scrutinized, the disadvantages appear to crop up far more prominently than any advantages. The Haredi parties demand as their entry into any coalition that their population remain deferred from service in the IDF or National Service because they must be free to study Torah twenty-four-seven otherwise peace will never come to the world. We really hate to break this to them, peace does not appear any closer with them pursuing only Torah study, perhaps some of them might be going about their studies with less than the required serious concentration necessary to bring world peace. This has been the problem as some of the Ministers of the Knesset have pointed out, they can drive through the Haredi neighborhoods, largely in Tel Aviv, and they see tens to hundreds of young Haredi men standing around on street corners smoking cigarettes and not apparently pouring over Torah manuscripts and the related commentaries deep in study and thought. The claim is these numbers are too large and persistent and are found almost any hour of the day to be laid on the excuse that these young men were taking a break. This may weaken the Haredi parties’ arguments, but it does not dilute their ability to force elections.

There is another means of slowly forcing the incorporation of the Israeli Haredi to join into the workforce, which is the actual reason for including them into the IDF and having required STEM and other basic courses be taught at the Yeshivas. As stated above, such is the norm for the Haredi in the United States and they support their own Torah greats in their studies from within their community and do not demand that the United States government support their Torah studies as the Haredi have done historically here in Israel. The other persuasive means is to not increase, or actually decrease, the amount of government support provided to the Haredi communities thus eventually forcing them to realize that their game is up. Again, this will run afoul of the Haredi parties who can threaten to force new elections. Eventually there will be a government coalition not requiring the Haredi parties to reach the required sixty-one Ministers, a majority of the one-hundred-twenty in the Knesset. For the Haredi’s sake, they had better pray during their Torah studies that such a coalition not be made up of the secular-left as they will have no pity and feel absolutely no guilt in cutting the Haredi communities off their support leaving them to beg and scratch to survive. At least if such a coalition is from the right-Zionist-religious-nationalist parties, then the Haredi will be cared for more gently but the writing is on the wall and they are going to by necessity be joining the normative society. Of this need there can be no rational argument as their numbers and percentage of the Israeli population continue to increase.

The truth is there are some very successful Haredi run companies within Israel. What makes these companies all the more outstanding is that they have nary a man in the building. These are companies started by and populated with Haredi women. To read about a select group of these companies we would like to provide links to the following this article, this article, this article, this article, this article, this article and this article. These are proof that the Haredi believe in working and if the men desired, they could very probably follow their women’s example while adding a difference where each department within the company was given special time in which to devote themselves solely to Torah. This would serve two purposes. The first is that it would permit every Haredi with time to study Torah and second, we would not be deprived of a miraculous contribution to the commentaries on Torah coming from the most unlikely of former students. People always bring up the fact that Albert Einstein did not do well in his early studies, especially where speed was required in answering any question. Thus, the claims that even the most brilliant diamond is but a lump of rock when pulled from the earth is an analogous comparison. The countering argument is equally valid in that not every Haredi is a real and treasured brilliant Torah scholar and thus every Haredi is not necessary for the advancement of Torah and the Law going forward, a percentage including the most promising students should be permitted deferment from IDF and even joining the workforce and possibly receiving a stipend from the government. But the teachers at their Yeshivas and their participants in immersive Torah studies should ideally be supported by the Haredi community just as they are in other countries. Most of the synagogues and especially those attending regular services provide sufficient charity to the Haredi to pay for much of this work being performed in a most serious manner. Finally, working and supporting oneself was ideally meant to provide additional insight into the human condition and thus deepen one’s ability to understand Torah and the Commandments and allow for a deeper interpretation of Torah relevant to the lives of the people.

This is all well and good but it does not get us past the Haredi parties blocking, or attempting to block changes in the current system by threatening to force new elections. The Haredi parties do not fear elections because their voting block supports their candidates because their rabbis tell them to do so and thus their representation remains rather constant between nine and thirteen seats. This often makes them the kingmakers as their numbers can make for a stable coalition capable of having four or even seven Ministers not vote with the coalition and still have their legislation be passed and prevent new election crisis. Often they are required to form a coalition and in these instances their power is greatly increased, making changing the rules very difficult. This requires that the Haredi be persuaded to accept these changes which lead to painfully slow progress in these areas. One can only hope that the Haredi leadership, preferably their leading most rabbis, will simply state what is true; Torah scholars are meant to also work as a means of remaining humble and appreciative of how those who depend on them to interpret Torah such that it is made meaningful for them are served. Even the prophets of old were required to work for a living with only the most brilliant and righteous having as their position to advise the Kings. Otherwise, the prophets in antiquity would have starved to death and along the way become too weak to think straight. We understand that some of them did not particularly think straight all the time even with food and good employment. The fact they were required to perform something of monetary worth in addition to their relating the desires of Hashem is the important point. Surely, the Haredi do not place their Torah study above the revelations which came from the prophets, or do they?

When the day arrives that the Haredi see the light of day or are not required and a coalition is formed without their participation, then the Haredi will know what it feels like to be depending upon the kindness of others exclusively. On this day, the future of the Haredi community will be decided free of their input and this fact alone should place the fear of Hashem into the leaders of these Haredi parties. They would be far better served to be participants in a logical, acceptable and understandable transition towards reaching a final goal and in defining that final goal. Should the Haredi continue to endlessly demand that the system not be altered, they run the risk of when the system is altered that they will receive absolutely no special privilege from the government. Would it not serve them far better to receive support for 10% or at most 20% of their adult population being permitted to spend their time as Torah scholars producing the standards of Torah for the whole of the community? This is the overbearing question which they should be thinking and not plotting to force no change taking place because doing so will soon lead to their being resented by the population at large, and that would spell danger for the Haredi as a whole. There is a final bit which requires addressing, and it involves the fanatics within the Haredi community. They must be brought within control of the greater Haredi community. Their attacking other Haredi because they serve in the IDF is behavior which should be treated as being beyond the pale and unacceptable. The same goes for their riotous reaction when people not meeting their ideal dress code for modesty are seen within their neighborhoods. The Haredi need understand that other people with different standards exist and have equal rights to be respected and not become the victims of a self-professed modesty police. Such actions are part of societies which are ruled by a theocratic dictatorship. This is nowhere near the ideals of the State of Israel where we cherish equality and that there are differences between people. The principle problems concerning the Haredi community and its incorporation into mainstream Israeli society will come at some point in the not too distant future. The final reality strike will come when there will be no means of supporting the Haredi within Israel and also budgeting for the IDF and other necessary government services such as road repair, utilities and all the other necessities which people rely on the government to provide. This brings up the concept that perhaps everyone need be reminded that the government should be limited and not providing services to the people which the people can provide for themselves, and that goes for all people.
