Long ago in Israel there were enemies in the areas which today we call Gaza and Syria and Lebanon. Gaza had the older enemy, the Philistines, an Egyptian offshoot community which arose from Egypt separating soon after the Israelites arrived and conquered Canaan or a remaining Canaanite tribe which survived the Israelite advances for quite some time. They were capable warriors who used variants of Egyptian fighting methods as the Canaanites had been vassals of Egypt and were often included in Egyptian campaigns against the Hittites who ruled much of the lands north of Canaan. Their units would include chariots with archers as well as spear and sword men as well as drivers. This required slightly larger and heavier chariots which were equally hearty and difficult to destroy in combat. They also used heavy and light infantry, standing archers and slingers and limited horse cavalry. This made them a very formidable enemy for the Israelites who relied heavily on infantry, mostly light infantry which would utilize geological landscapes to great advantage. During their series of wars the Philistines had the distinct advantage in the flatlands while the Israelites fared better in the Judean hills and mountains. These hills and mountains rendered the chariots unusable and limited the advantages for horse cavalry. Hills and mountains also would wear out heavy infantry rather quickly as their heavier armor, shields and weapons rendered then exhausted while the Israelite light cavalry moved well and was very familiar with these lands. Still, often the Israelites fared well even on open flatlands against the Philistines, especially when under the rule of King David and King Solomon. David had a particular knowledge of the Philistines having lived and fought amongst them with a group of close friends and followers while hiding from King Saul who wished him dead. In the end it was Saul who committed suicide after his son was felled in battle which was ill advised and proved disastrous for the Israelites. Following the death of King Saul, David rose to the crown amid great celebrations and fanfare. Initially David made peace with the Philistines but that peace fell apart and a great war ensued. Eventually mention of the Philistines vanished with little explanation and their tribe was subsumed by other tribes and the Philistines simply ceased to exist. The Philistines have absolutely no genetic or other ties to the Arabs claiming their heritage from this Biblical tribe. Another influence on the Philistines was our other group, the Phoenicians. This was thought due to their seafaring economy and types of ships. Either way, the animosities between the Philistines and the Israelites was obviously due to their both being very capable and strong tribal communities and being neighbors naturally led to incursions and their inevitable conflicts.

The others were the Phoenicians who too were one of the stronger Canaanite tribes with Egyptian ties. The Phoenicians were the great maritime and commercial traders sailing the eastern Mediterranean Sea (Great Sea). There were also found to be some Hittite influences and possible interbreeding between the two civilizations in the early periods in Phoenician history. One of the most lucrative trade items they dealt in was a deep purple, a royal purple, dye necessary for robes of royalty as well as the Israelite Priests and many garments of the Tabernacle and later the Temple. The Phoenicians were eventually pressed by the invading empires of Babylonian, Persia and Greece that they took to their ships and settled in Northern Africa, some claim they became Carthage, and traded with people as far as the British Isles. History lost the Phoenicians per se and if they became Carthage they were exterminated with the remnants strewn across northern Africa or enslaved by Rome after the Punic Wars. The Phoenicians also warred with the Israelites with varying results over the years just as the Philistines had done though they survived beyond the Greek conquest and enslavement of the Israelite Tribes.

The Babylonians had conquered and took us from our lands while the Persians, Greeks, Assyrians and initially the Romans simply ruled over us in our lands. There was one consistent reason for our defeat each and every time, infighting between the different tribes, political divides, different sects or whatever divisions which kept us infighting when we needed to be united to save our homelands. The Persians also had a large number of Jews decide they preferred living remaining in the cities which had been Babylon, moving to the capital or other large Persian city, anywhere but under Torah and living as one people in one land. This may have been a contributing factor to subsequent losses and leading eventually to the great Roman dispersion spreading us to the far corners of the Roman Empire and everywhere between all in all as slaves with no rights and an expectation that our culture and people would perish. This was how the Romans destroyed the remnants of the Phoenician Empire when they destroyed Carthage and dispersed their survivors. That was the end of any mention of Carthage, Carthaginians or Phoenicians in the rest of history. The Romans not only dispersed the Israelites, by then the Judeans, resulting from the great division of the Israelite nation into Judea and Israel, of which Israel and its Ten Tribes were conquered by the Assyrians and disappeared from history until being found in tribes from the far corners of the globe, and the Romans took care of the remainder, or so they thought. The twelve distinct tribes were ruled separately with their sharing of the Priestly tribes amongst them as their common thread. They were finally unified under King David starting the Israelite “empire” and made a great power with King Solomon (see maps below). This divide resulted in two kingdoms, one took the name Israel and the other took the name of its predominant Tribe between Benyamin and Judah thus became Judea. The name Judea was eventually shortened until the remnants of the Tribes of Judah and Benyamin along with their priestly classes simply became Jew. After the Assyrians capture the ten tribes of Israel they disappeared from Biblical history and many feared they had assimilated completely into the peoples with whom they settled. This may explain why today we are finding tribes claiming to be Jewish who genetically have many of the marker genetic makeup which has historically been defined as being an Israelite descendant. Further explaining such was the Roman dispersion which went further than the far corners of the Roman Empire as Jews were also sold to neighboring countries and empires such as India, China, Mongols, Arabs, Egyptians, and even the European and African barbarians plus escaping enslaved Jews would immediately target the closest non-Roman tribes they could find. The miracle was that for the large part the Jews kept themselves fairly separate once there had risen a Jewish community. It is even assured that many a Jewish parent would send to distant relatives or known Jews who may have resided in proximity in order to have their children marry within the faith, within our peoples.

The Assyrians and Romans as well as the Babylonians all conquered a divided people too stubborn to work together to resolve differences and agree on the best and strongest means of representing the entirety of the Jewish People. The divisions often were over trivial matters or vital matters where Torah interpretation was always a critical matter which often went unresolved while manner of worship, sacrifice, or other religious obligations were minor items which should have easily been resolved. The reality was that all too often in Jewish history, Israelite history, was that we allowed divisions in our family and this led to our destructions. Under Roman rule we could not have been a more divided people with groups proclaiming their leader was the Messiah and all of them proved to be wrong. Even Rabbi Hillel falsely believed that Bar Kokhba was the Messiah, something for which he paid a horrible price as did many others after that rebellion was squashed by Roman legions. We defeated ourselves throughout history yet when we were united we proved to be formidable. Just look above at the conquests by King David and then King Solomon who reached the Euphrates River in what is today northern Syria almost in Turkey. We suffered from such weakness being self-inflicted throughout three thousand years of history with only a few bright spots where it took a Moses or Joshua, it took King David and King Solomon and after each of these pairs we fell into fighting ourselves again.

One would think that as smart as we are presumed to be we might have finally learned. Nope, we have not learned anything. Sure we were kind of united in 1948 once the Haganah, the Irgun, the Sternists, Lehi and other splinter groups realized it was fight as one or die individually. Even then there was the wasteful and unnecessary destruction of the Altalena due to a struggle over power with David Ben-Gurion opposed and attempting to suppress Menachem Begin and, in absentia, Ze’ev Jabotinsky which resulted in the shelling of the ship the Altalena off the Tel Aviv beach (see image below). That was the second confrontation between Irgun and Haganah branches of the newly forming Israeli Defense Force during the 1948-9 Arab genocidal intended invasion where they conquered and illegally occupied Judea, Samaria (Jordan) and Gaza (Egypt). In future wars up through the June 1967 Six Day war, a response to overt moves and imminent invasion by Egypt and Syria under the orders from Egyptian President Nasser with assistance from Syrian Dictator Assad. When Jordan joined the fight the next day over pleading and warnings from Israel, the Israelis appeared surrounded but broke through and ended this attack rather rapidly liberating Judea, Samaria and Gaza and gaining the Sinai Peninsula and Golan Heights from Egypt and Syria respectively. Even though the October 1973 War caught Israel flatfooted and unprepared, the Yom Kippur War as it became known still resulted in an Israeli victory. As per usual, while Israel appeared to be being defeated the world was almost enveloped in an astounding silence but as soon as Israel was almost to Damascus and approaching Cairo the world found their voice and from the United Nations in New York, the White House in Washington D.C., the Kremlin in Moscow and any number of other capital cities, especially across Europe all demanded Israel cease all military activity and return immediately to the armistice lines from the Six Day War as Israel must not be permitted to actually defeat any of her enemies, that would upset the world’s balance.

So where do we sit today in Israel. Well, the Arabs have formulated a false flag operation called the Palestinians. Using the Arab Palestinian against Israel instead of the armies of Egypt, Syria (well, not so much Syria now), Jordan, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Iran and whatever other Arab nation all attacking making Israel the underdog, they use the Arab Palestinians and place them as the poor, unarmed underdogs. With this ploy the Arabs continuously claim ownership of lands sometimes going back to Ottoman Empire deeds. When there is a set of conflicting deeds with one held by any Arab, even one living in America who never even walked this land and the other a Jew who has built a home and has a valid deed, the Arab is almost always considered the owner by the Israeli Supreme Court which leans so far left they may as well convene in Paris and rule as if they were a European Union Court. This has allowed the Arabs to watch as Israel slowly but inexorably eats itself to pieces throwing Jews from their homes, now from entire neighborhoods, all without any real court hearing the claim and ruling on actual ownership. More often than not, when the time comes for a court to actually hear a claimant, the Arab usually drops all claims and all paperwork which once was used to destroy a Jewish life of their home has disappeared into thin air. Does this lead to the Supreme Court reversing their decision, of course it does not. Any Jew thrown off the lands that the leftists on the Supreme Court still believes belongs to the Arabs and no Jew should be permitted to walk there, let alone build a home or community. The Arabs watch as Jews destroy Jewish homes and they riot in celebration. Then the circle starts again usually now with a “Jewish” leftist group such as Peace Now, B’Tselem, Jews for Justice in Palestine, Rabbis for Peace, J-Street and a plethora of other far left Jewish groups many of which are mostly if not completely funded by European governments, the European Union, George Soros, American Jews, and some like J-Street are largely made up of American Jews; all will file often singularly and sometimes in small groups as each time they succeed their funding is increased enriching the leaders of these groups. Once filed directly with the Supreme Court without any need for a court ruling on the properness or even legality of the claim, the Supreme Court jumps to force Jews from their communities. What the claim is these groups are helping the Arab Palestinians who are poor and kept down because Jews are living beyond the Green Line in areas almost devoid of any Arabs or others. The fact that these communities include businesses and manufacturers who employ many Arab Palestinians and when they are shuttered and must relocate within the Green Line the Arab Palestinians they employed lose their employment. These Jewish companies pay premium wages as far as any Palestinian not on the government take is concerned. Arab Palestinian companies pay less than half the going wage paid by the Israeli companies, but by removing these businesses they are helping the Arab Palestinians, especially the ones who were employed there, right?

Meanwhile there are often demonstrations within Israel where Zionists protest the destruction of Jewish homes without an actual court decision on who really owns these lands. As stated, most of these deeds are either falsely identified, forgeries or actually never existed. There is just some Arab these groups find and pay to tell the court that the identified lands belonged to their family back before the Jews stole the lands. Many of these were denoted as state lands and the Jewish communities went through every required search and received the blessings and even some funding from the government but as soon as an Arab says the magic word, “Mine,” then the Jews must be removed without any further considerations, after all, why would the poor man lie about such an easily proven true or false claim? Maybe because you never validate their claims before ruling the destruction of Jewish communities and even after there is proof from a lower court you still insist your original order be carried out and after the homes and businesses are destroyed you will talk about a review. That almost helps, doesn’t it? The current target is Amona, again. The Israeli government obeyed their Washington D.C. masters and did as President George W. Bush and Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice demanded, destroying over nine thousand Israeli lives and giving all of Gaza to the Arab Palestinian Authority (PA) so they could prove how capable they could be at running a state of their own, and they failed miserably. Never mind they have a semi-autonomous fiefdom around Shechem (Nablus) which they have been misallocating billions of dollars and euros over the years making first Yasser Arafat and his cronies overly wealthy and since his departure Mahmoud Abbas, his three sons and all of his cronies and security detail, without which he would be dead and add in the IDF and Shin Bet foiling a Hamas plot to murder Abbas about every four to six months, but they needed Gaza and it be made Jew-free before they could accept the land. Well, they received the lands around mid-August of 2005 and by June of 2007 after over a year of on again off again fighting Hamas, had finally secured all of Gaza and went about executing any Fatah person not convincing enough in their denial of being a part of the PA and pledging their undying loyalty to Hamas, assuming they lived out the week. Many PA leaders had departed ahead of this collapse and despite training by United States Special Forces under the supervision of General Dayton, all performed out of sight in Jordan, the PA Security Forces were unable to prevent a Hamas takeover of Gaza. The Arabs still only noticed that the Jews were removing Jews for the Arabs to take the land and use it to attack Israel with even more lethal arms including any rocket they get the knowhow to build. Iran has been very helpful in providing Hamas and Islamic Jihad with the plans and motors for even larger and heavier rockets until now they can strike Jerusalem and Tel Aviv from Gaza and possibly as far north as Haifa. Now the Arabs are watching the Jews remove Jews from area after area in Judea and Samaria and they are beginning to envision the total destruction of the Jew using the entirety of the Judean Hills overlooking the heart of Israel and her population and manufacturing and power generation centers. There are desalinization plants, natural gas powered electricity plants, refineries, homes, schools, kindergartens, nursery schools, synagogues and the docks of Haifa, Tel Aviv, Ashdod and Ashkelon all visible from and within easy range of the Judean Hills.

On the other side of the argument are the “settlers” themselves backed not only by the Zionists, as one would suspect, but also by a large majority of the people. One might query as to why if the majority, and a clear majority at that, favor annexing most if not all of Judea and Samaria does the elected government not act more forcefully to implement such a solution. Ah, now that is the question. Perhaps, as some of the most ardent Zionists have claimed, Israel just does not have the right government in place and Netanyahu has been so worn down by the friction and pressures that he is simply paralyzed and unable to act according to the desires of the people. That begs why has he been Prime Minister for such an extended period, longer than any other Israeli? This comes down to a single statement in our opinion and that comes from this past election. The last election had many varied and twisted variables. One was V 15 or V 2015 and was a foreign funded and based NGO from the United States at the direction of President Obama whose leader, Jeremy Bird, had been President Obama’s reelection campaign chairman and closely tied to One Voice which was funded by the usual suspects as well as George Soros and registered as if an Israeli based NGO just as so many European NGOs have done to interfere in Israeli day to day political decisions. V 2015 worked to elect the Labor Party ticket and had made some inroads, at least as far as the polls showed. The day before the election Netanyahu made a plea of seeming desperation and as the week or two before the person topping the closest right wing party which might challenge Netanyahu, Naftali Benet, had stated he was unsure if he truly was ready to be Prime Minister. This may have been a play at humility, but what it became was a landslide of Jewish Home voters to Likud in response to Netanyahu who then won with a comfortable margin but marginalized Jewish Home and their ability to affect government. With the United States with direct, though unprotested, White House interference in the Israeli election and to have the Zionist, nationalist, right wing parties still dominate the election, what more proof does it take to know the Israeli public favors annexation of Judea and Samaria and addressing the Arab Palestinian problem afterwards.

As near as we have been able to determine from our beachfront town of Nahariya, which is on the Mediterranean coast, we are as settled Israeli as Tel Aviv; but from our sense from people we cross, they are favoring a one state solution with the Arabs permitted limited autonomy or simply being bought out and encouraged to leave and settle elsewhere as wealthy people if that is what it would take. There is the feeling that any solution requires the removal of Mahmoud Abbas, his cohorts and henchmen, otherwise known as the PA Security Forces and particularly Force 17. Then there would need to be fair and open elections which Israel would need to monitor and, in order to satisfy a suspicious world, United Nations, European and United States and maybe Russia and China and who knows who else, but not the Arab League, to monitor the fairness and openness of the elections, something completely missing in any votes taken currently. It is possible that many Arab Palestinians would enjoy the freedom and opportunities for economic growth and freedom from oppressive governance that Fatah used in Judea and Samaria and Hamas oppresses in Gaza. Gaza, unfortunately, is beyond help unless Israel, the next time thousands of rockets rain down each week, possibly daily, out of Gaza simply cleanses Gaza of all terror related rocket and weapon factories, storehouses and the people involved in such activities once and for all and allows them an open and semi-autonomous region and assistance in economic recovery. Oddly enough, granting the Arab Palestinians the opportunity to become economically viable and independent from their dependence on charity from throughout the world and the graft that produces and the other sins soon attached, is something the United Nations, European Union, many European governments, the United States State Department, the Arab League, Iran, the Muslim Brotherhood and who knows who else, would fight against with all their might as they enjoy their power to attack Israel without any direct ties or involvement. The world will eventually have to realize, Israel has been reestablished and is going to remain against any and all odds.

But what are the world’s Jews doing about all of this? We are fighting one another and beating our heads together for no solution. Our stance explained in the following is favoring the Zionist arguments as that is where we place ourselves. The solution is for a single state owned and protected by the IDF with the Arab Palestinians enjoying their semi-autonomous rule within Areas A and B while Israel settles Area C and the Jordan Valley, period, end of discussion. There is a great need for revamping how Justices are chosen for the Supreme Court and after that every other court of civil law. There needs to be a drafting of a Constitution which iterates the make-up of the government, what powers are vested where, the procedures for making a law and limitations on adjudication such that there cannot be any legislating from the bench. Judges apply the law using the letter of the law and not some dreamed up insanity that no normal human being could dream came from some law. That is what is needed and with this the annexation of all of Judea and Samaria. Any Arabs desiring of leaving, there will be a buy out of your property and a generous benefit package to assist with your relocation along with finally a free airline first class trip to whatever nation is accepting you. We will wish you luck. From the semiautonomous region ruled by Arab Palestinians we only demand that you obey the Noahic Code and not pursue violence against Israeli citizens. Should this advisory not be heeded then we will assume you have decided to wage a war of separation which will result in a complete and total response by all of the forces short of nuclear weapons required to decimate all of the area, structures, homes, businesses, wells, charcoal mounds and people in a conflagration which will not soon be forgotten by those watching. We, on the other hand, will simply return to living happily either before such an episode and it not being required or afterwards safe in the knowledge that there is no longer even a hint of a threat from former members of the PA, period. All of the alternatives will be of your choosing and we have explained our responses, you decide. Thank you in advance for your participation.

The Israeli Political Class is the Problem

There is a malaise in Israel. The pale it casts darkens all horizons. There are those who claim they are Zionists; And those who claim they are Nationalist; And there are those hiding behind a title of Zionism and Union with the world. Let’s face it, if you are truly a Zionist, truly a Nationalist then you would hold to the dream, the dream of the great Zionist Nationalists who went before. The ones whose names precede the State of Israel; the ones whose names echo in the minds of those who have the flame within; the giants whose tombs we approached with reverential honor and a small amount of trepidation because we know those graves will ask us what we have done. What can we tell these giants who handed us a State, a Jewish and Zionist State which spread from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea. They understand the land lost in the great first war where we were unable to regain Gaza and all of Judea and Samaria and even a small part of Benyamin but worst of all we lost half of Yerushalayim including the entirety of the Old City, the Temple Mount, the Mount of Olives, Mount Moriah, as well as Kever Yoseph, Kever Rachael and the Cave of Machpelah. We lost Mount Gerizim and Mount Ebal which were the Mounts of blessings and curses respectively and the curses far outnumbered the blessings, a warning we should always heed. As it was written:

Devarim (Deuteronomy) 11:29:7
And it shall come to pass, when the LORD thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, that thou shalt set the blessing upon mount Gerizim, and the curse upon mount Ebal.

Jericho, Bethlehem, Shechem (Nablus), Hevron, and all the lands, towns, cities which existed under Jordanian occupation from 1948-9 until liberated in June of 1967 in the Six Day War are returned to Eretz Yisroel and must be incorporated into the land in order that we may settle the lands of Eretz Yisroel. As the Jordanians had granted to those who desired citizenship, citizenship which it claimed to cancel after their losing the lands, proving these Arabs, who were no different than Jordanian Arabs, had no value to their brothers unless they were displacing, what even Jordanians would call, the accursed Jews, we can just feel the warmth. Those who were granted Jordanian citizenship should have immediately been given a simple choice; remain in Israel as alien Jordanian residents of Israel; request and work through an acclimation and absorption series of classes in Hebrew, Old Testament and Jewish traditions and practices; or take a generous offer for their lands and structures such as homes and businesses and cross the Allenby Bridge all the wealthier and then proceeded anywhere in the world but Israel. This would have settled the problems with the liberation of the remainders of Judea, Benyamin and Samaria and incorporated all of the lands within their natural borders of Israel. As far as the Waqf and the Temple Mount, they could have been granted jurisdiction over actual recognized Islamic structures while the different Christian sects would work out between themselves who was responsible and was the official caretaker of what parts of which Christian holy site, and the State of Israel would guard, clear, clean and allow universal prayer rights to all across the entirety of the Temple Mount not within a structure and thus under some governance.

No areas of now fully liberated and free Israel other than specific holy sites would be held and governed by some foreign entity, especially a terrorist group which is exactly that the Palestinian Authority (PA) is, just prettied up by renaming the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) to Fatah and then allow an election to place them in charge of something called the Palestinian Authority (PA) and claim they are now a partner for peace. It is all a scheming lie thought out by the powers other than Israel in the rest of the world such as the United Nations, European Union and its predecessor the European Common Market, the United Nations, Soviet Union, United States, Britain, France, Germany and some individual people with more money than brains all decided that they were slowly but inexorably going to destroy Israel replacing it with an Arab State, not the Arab State but an Arab state as it would be the twenty-third Arab State because twenty-two are not sufficient so the one and only Jewish State must be erased from the earth and replaced with the twenty-third, or if Hamas makes one and Fatah makes one they would be the twenty-third and twenty-fourth Arab States. But that would not be fair to Islamic Jihad so perhaps they could have a twenty-fifth Arab State. And the twenty or so self-important families who have gained sufficient power and finances to demand their own fiefdom? We cannot slight them after all they have done to enslave Palestinians. Truth be told, whatever Arab entities are formed would all be dysfunctional requiring a constant stream of money in order to claim functionality. Thus the world would be demanded to continue the investment of billions of Dollars and Euros every year with it soon to rise to trillions except for one small item; once these entities have taken Israel out, the world will lose all interest and these entities will be on their own which would soon result in five to ten surges of refugees leaving these dysfunctional states seeking the comfort of the European Union and member state’s safety net to care for them as they plot the overthrow of whatever friendly bureaucracy was feeding them. One need remember that the sole thing these Arabs have been trained to do is throw rocks and claim themselves victim to any and all conspiracies happen to be popular, the one percenters at the bottom using the government to allow them to change places with the top one percent. Even if such were possible and the European Union actually did such a useless venture, the new top one percent would be the bottom one percent within three years and the previous top one percent would rise from the ashes as unto the phoenix reborn from the flames and depths of poverty right back to near if not in the top one percent. But the world would be left wanting, forever the poorer, if they destroy Israel.

And That They Claim is the Excessive Demand of the Jews

Why would we claim the world would be lost without Israel? Well, that is an easy one. Should Israel disappear, as the powers that be appear to desire, then soon the world would lose the remnants of the Jewish race as with nowhere to run and find other Jews ready to defend the family, they would simply perish as their connection to Judaism, true and Torah observant Judaism, is barely tenable as it is and would be cut forever without a place to call home. The rising anti-Semitism is claiming that its roots are in Israel and the brashness and irreconcilable rejection of making peace and allowing the formation of another Arab state taken out of its lands, its hide so to speak. The British Mandate lands were supposed to be the Jewish State but the British made as a justification for stealing over three-quarters of the land that the Jews would never number sufficient population to require as much land as was set aside, as if there would never in any future be the possibility of Jews in numbers to require more than the lands left for them which are attempting to again steal pieces. Jordan ended up with the lion’s share of the land but there is no manner of way the world would have Jordan absorb these people whom they once granted citizenship and then rescinded it when the land was returned to Israel. People need to understand that on the morning that Israel became a nation, her borders included all the lands west of the Jordan River, all of Gaza, all of Judea, all of Benyamin and all of Samaria. Jordan and Egypt were the true occupiers, the real colonialists taking lands from an indigenous people. But now there has been invented a new indigenous people who have their claimed roots in Judea and Samaria called Palestinians. They never resided in Syria, Jordan, Egypt or had ancestry from the Arabian Peninsula, they have lived in the “West Bank” practicing Islam for nine-thousand years according to a statement made and then retracted from the PLO Facebook page. Never mind that they were not present in the years before 1850 and almost none were reported residing here in Mark Twain’s account of his travels in the Holy Lands, neither Jew nor Arab as the entire population was as sparse as the vegetation, look it up.

But that has changed, and boy has it changed. There are bustling cities with tall new buildings with their glass and steel gleaming from amongst a patina of the old which still remains and refuses to surrender its land but slowly the new replaces the old as if a correction bringing modernity to a land whose ancient roots run deep into the soil. There is a vibrancy and in the north between the rising metropolises there are farms and open grazing lands still used by shepherds and their flocks who follow ancient routes to their grazing areas doing so as they have for centuries thus knowing when to move saving the lands so it will refresh for the visit next year. The mixing of new and old is even evident in the farming as in some of the less arable lands the water is recycled constantly with nutrients carefully injected into full hillsides of hydroponics raising crops and produce year round. There are orchards of olive trees seemingly as old as the hills whose sides they cling to as if to claim their area and protect it from other plants soaking up sun and soil. There are even mixtures of peoples with some wearing the dress from centuries gone faded into the past in Europe and the rest of the Western World but preserved as so much is in this truly ancient land that is sprouting a new shape amongst the old. Israel reflects the culture in which start-up companies appear in numbers unmatched around the world and only exceeded by nations beyond comparison in size and populations. Yet there is a hesitancy amongst many who fear the world and what it might think or say. In a land where boldness exudes from every corner and people strike out to force their way into the world and high-tech is the buzzword as well as the byword for so many, but those are not the politicians. Even those who made their name in technology and innovation and have now turned to politics soon lose their formidable presence and soon become hesitant, troubled. They begin to doubt even themselves, or so it seems. The brash and strikingly bold politicians who rose and defended the land in deed and word and always with style that was proper but always gave a spark of hubris appear to have deserted Israel and been replaced with the crafty and calculating always guarding their against misstep and so carefully crafting their words that they too often nuance their meaning making it unintelligible. The glamour and wonder of your words lose effect if their meaning is not starkly defined and presented framed and complete. Israel has too little precious land and lives in the midst of a roiling cauldron with wars surrounding her and threats come even from within the Knesset itself where more than a handful of traitors do stir. They are the ones with the brash boldness from which too many wilt. When they scream and make a tempest, it is requisite upon every true Zionist to take the wind from their sails and use it to sound the ram’s horns and bring down their pedestals like we brought down the walls of Jericho.

Perhaps what we have are too many nationalists who can live with splitting off pieces of land arguing demographics to give this away today and Hashem knows what tomorrow. The Zionist knows the boundaries which were promised by Hashem and knows that the rest of the world is equally aware though they lie and steal ambuscading that which is known but all too seldom stood upon as the principle they are. We need more Zionists of the bravado and principle as those of ages past, those like Ze’ev Jabotinsky, Rabbi Meir Kahane or more recently Menachem Begin who was a fighter who also knew the value of an honest peace. None of these Zionists would have allowed the bringing into the lands the beating heart of terrorism and murderer of all Israel if given the slightest opportunity. There is no need for Israel to surrender even a single atom of our lands because the Europeans or the Americans say we must. We need only listen to what we know and from the words of Hashem revealed in Torah, everything else is noise and confusion. We have to deal in reality of our requirement which was spelled out for us three thousand years ago when we were instructed to go and settle the land. We were not told to go and parcel out the lands to those who would simply take what we gave them and use it to launch new wars and attacks on our people. We even tried that and Hashem has made clear what our mistakes have been, we surrendered lands which were not ours to gift as these lands belong to Hashem. They do not belong to the Ministers of the Knesset; they do not belong to the mediators such as John Kerry or previously Madeline Albright or Hillary Clinton or anybody walking the lands today, yesterday or tomorrow. Hashem made it very concise and clear, the land belongs to Hashem and we are to be the caretakers, which does not include giving it to those who will despoil the land and create abominations upon our specifically outlined duty to the land that Hashem portioned out for us to care over. Hashem did not say share the land, that was the group the “Guess Who.” We need to return to doing what is prescribed in Torah and in that pursuit we will be blessed and any deviation from that is an accursed act for which we will reap curses. Where have all the Zionists gone, certainly not into politics and we need such to sacrifice and walk into the dens of iniquity, the lions’ den and be assured that Hashem will walk with you.

Stabbing the Heart of Israel

There are so many lies and falsehoods being sold as valid arguments, facts, realities and truths that it is difficult to choose just one or, once doing so, avoid straying to related lies and nearby fatal injurings of actualities that tempt and draw one to broaden the discussion. We will attempt to keep to the one horrific falsehood that has been sold as a valid reality and unarguable right for the Arabs that the vast majorities of people buy the deception as the foundation. The Arab claims to major or entire areas of Judea, Samaria and Benyamin, an area which includes not just Jerusalem but the burial places of the Patriarchs and Matriarchs of the Jewish People, the city which housed the Arc of the Covenant and served as the Israelites’ capital city and the main place for the priests, Mount Ebal to Mount Gerizim: From Cursed to Blessed* and the sites of numerous critical battles and miracles which, no matter the empty guarantees which will prove unenforceable. There exist no United Nations peacekeepers who have ever remained, including those from the United States in the Sinai Peninsula right before the Six Day War who fled as demanded by the Egyptians, to protect fronts or historic holy sites once challenged. As such, there exist no guarantees enforcing Israeli rights of visits to the Tomb of Joseph, the Tomb of Rachael and soon the Cave of the Patriarchs as the Arabs are building illegal buildings to surround and close off these locations, amongst the highest of holy sites in all Judaism. Using encouragement from and financial assistance from European governments, NGOs, charities and even wealthy individuals assisting the cutting off of this holiest of holy sites from Jewish ability to visit and at which to pray, the Arabs are finishing another project to remove the Jews from all the lands and its holies places.

*Deuteronomy 11:29

“It shall come about, when the LORD your God brings you
into the land where you are entering to possess it, that you
shall place the blessing on Mount Gerizim
and the curse on Mount Ebal.”

The basic claim which is a complete falsehood from top to bottom, left to right, front to back is that all they want is the lands stolen from them, just 22% of the land, just our rightful 22% free of any Jewish pollution, contamination, infestation and just about every insult one might think up. There are numerous groups many of which support the BDS (Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions) movement which is attempting to impose financial destruction upon Israel just as the world had done to South Africa over Apartheid. Their claim is that Israel acts just like South Africa did because they are an Apartheid country in occupation of Arab lands which were taken by force in an offensive war by Israeli colonizers. They propose that the Jews have no connection to the lands and that the Arabs are the aboriginal peoples from whom the Jews forced them into secondary status citizens. They claim they were the Canaanites or the Philistines or that they came to these lands and settled them many thousands of years ago and were the very first inhabitants. Unfortunately for the Arabs none of these propositions holds even a single grain of truth.

The Arabs came to reside in the area soon after the first Zionists arrived and the land began to prosper and there was employment. In the area after World War II the British also began moving Arabs into the area in an effort to keep the Jewish population a minority such that the Jewish State could never meet the requirement for the Jews to have a majority in the lands and thus claim to be ready for statehood. The British plan would have continued to work just as it had since the establishment of the Mandate to create a Jewish State from the Mandate Lands. That was the original intent for the British Mandate. But by the time it came for fulfilling this obligation, the British proposed, and the powers drawing up the new maps after the end of the Ottoman empire and the Austrian-Hungarian Empire and basically setting up the national states both in the Middle East and Eastern Europe, agreed to the British forming, and this part is crucial, an Arab State for the Arabs residing in the British Mandate Lands on the lands east of the Jordan River, on 78% of the area, leaving the 22% of the lands west of the Jordan River for the Jewish State once the Jews were a sufficient percentage of the population. The requirement was not for the Jews to be the majority but only capable of forming a state, the make-up of that state would develop over time. The British decided to define, being able to form a state, as the Jews being the majority population; something the British controlled as they were the officials granting Jews entrance to the lands which they always kept to a minimum or even closing the borders all but completely. During much of World War II the British limited Jewish emigration to the Mandate lands to 75,000 for the five years from 1939 through 1944. This was during the worst years of the extermination of the Jews in the concentration camps and the Jews were desperate for a place to run to and the only place which could have fulfilled an obligation for the formation of a Jewish State had such a restriction in place and even made the paperwork so onerous that not even the 75,000 were even granted passage. What makes this criminal, though not technically, but most certainly morally, was that the Nazis original plan was to send the Jews back to their ancient lands which were the British Mandate lands and the British blocked this as a favor to the Arabs who still desired to have themselves given another state west of the Jordan River which would have merged with Jordan as soon as the British left and more likely than not expelled the Jews from the lands west of the Jordan River just as had been done East of the Jordan River. So the Arabs desired to be granted their claims to the lands west of the Jordan River which made up 22% of the British Mandate as the lands east of the Jordan River, as noted previously, made up 78% of the Mandate lands.

This claim to demanding 22% of lands, meaning all of the lands west of the Jordan River, is exactly what Mahmoud is still demanding right now. When he claims to only want the rightful 22% of the lands, he means the rest of the British Mandate. When people claim he means only the areas that Jordan called the West Bank, Mahmoud Abbas nods his head much like a bobble head doll in the back window of a car on an Annapolis cobble stone street. When Abbas speaks to the Palestinians he lets his true intentions out and tells them they will not settle for anything less than their rightful 22%, the entirety of the remainder of the British Mandate. When he claims that Jerusalem will be the Capital City of the Palestinian State, he means all of Jerusalem and a state on all the lands west of the Jordan River. Palestinian leadership has twice been offered a State on over 95% of the West Bank with all of Gaza, providing Hamas allows such and does not claim their own little fiefdom, once to Arafat and the other to Abbas, with land swaps compensating for the remaining amount and with its capital city in East Jerusalem and has turned it down both times. The Palestinians could have had their state at almost any time if they would accept a deal which meant sharing the lands with a Jewish State living side-by-side in peace and security. When Abbas is allowed to state what he is willing to accept to end the terrorist violence, his answer is always the cryptic, “All of Palestine.” He means the lands west of the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea. Whenever he is forced to reply in an agreeable compromise which the Europeans claim is acceptable and will be a Peace agreement, Abbas claims that such is acceptable as long as the Arab Palestinians are permitted to protest their loss of any lands to the Jews by which he is saying that the Arab Palestinians are to continue their terror war against the accursed Jews until they surrender the entire land to the Arabs as all lands belong to the Arabs, to the Muslims.

Word of warning to those Muslims who believe they are safe from the Arab demand that the entire world be Muslim, they do not actually include non-Arab Muslims. Once the Muslims create their global caliphate and all the kafirs have converted or been executed by beheading or whatever is convenient, then they will begin to purify the Muslim world in order to perfect the Muslim faith and dealing with those Muslims which are not pure. Ever wonder what they mean by pure? They mean Arab Muslims and then they mean each tribe fighting until they have purified Islam to that one tribe and then the clans will clash and in the end there can be only one true Muslim, the last human being on Earth. The Palestinians see no end to the fight to make the world safe for Arab Islam, be that Shiite or Sunni, something being discussed in Syria at the moment. For those who doubt the validity of the purification plans of the Arab Muslims simply ask why there has been no allying with the Kurdish Muslims by their Arab brothers. Yes, that’s right; they are impure Muslims as they are Kurdish and are refusing to live under Arab oppressions. If they refuse to share a small amount of lands with their Kurdish brothers in arms, what makes one believe that they would be treated any different.

Another little item is the refusal of any pro-Palestinian, meaning pro-Arab Palestinian, groups in the Western World refuse to debate anyone and defend their argument? Don’t believe me, try to set one up with any of the plethora of pro-Arab Palestinians, they often call themselves simply pro-Palestinian but in their heads they are saying Arab Palestinian, to debate a proponent for Israel and the right of the Jews to their homelands. They will not debate, they might agree and then arrange a demonstration which will disrupt the debate and never allow the Zionist to speak. On all too many campuses throughout the Western World no pro-Israel or pro-Zionist speaker is permitted to speak unless he can calm and eject the overly abundant hecklers demanding they be given equal time to rant. No such demonstration interrupts George Galloway, who refuses to debate Israelis as they cheat and win unfairly and practice other black arts such as quoting international law and that is just no basis for an argument which allows the Jewish People to have an autonomous state in their ancient homelands because, well, they’re Jews, you know (see below for his explanation). The recipe for a fair and unbiased debate is the Muslims for Palestine debating the Jew for Palestine with the while anybody representing the Jews for Israel are laughed at as they are run from the area with threats of all sorts, some actually illegal as it is oddly against the law to threaten to murder somebody, yes, even if they are Jewish.

The pro-Palestinians insist that when it comes to the situation in Israel that only they are permitted to speak and inform the world of the rightfulness of the Arab argument and the wrongheadedness of the Jewish State idea. There will be a speaker or many speakers who will speak of ethnic cleansing as if Islam is an ethnicity like being a Jew or an Arab or French, English, Turkish or Egyptian. Then there will be the claim that the Jews have been steadily and consistently killing the Palestinian refugees by refusing to allow them to work, leave the refugee camps and simply killing them. This is why since the 1949 Armistice the numbers of Arab Palestinian Refugees had gone from the original approximately half to three quarters of a million to the current five to six million. The Jews must be doing one really lousy job of murdering them off and preventing their numbers from increasing. Of course the Arab Palestinian Refugees are the only refugees to have their own private and equally inefficient United Nations agency called UNWRA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East) which maintains the rule that if either of your parents are an Arab Palestinian Refugee then you are an Arab Palestinian Refugee which is why the great grandchildren of an original Arab Palestinian Refugee are also counted as Arab Palestinian Refugees. Arab Palestinian Refugees are the only refugees whose only permissible place of resettlement is within Israel. This explains why there are Arab Palestinian Refugee Camps in places like Jordan, Syria (well, not since Bashir al-Assad leveled the camp with barrel bombs and artillery murdering thousands of Palestinian refugees but this was of minor concern to the media as this was Arab on Arab violence and did not include the Israelis in any manner so move along. There are more Arab Palestinian Refugee Camps in Lebanon. Then there are Arab Palestinian Refugee Camps in, wait for it, Gaza outside Gaza City and throughout places under Arab Palestinian control parts of Judea and Samaria where they are not permitted many of the freedoms the Arab Palestinian enjoy living right outside the camp. Further, these refugee camps do not have rows of tents but instead they have apartment buildings often surrounded by high fences and barbed wire such that these Arab refugees are not permitted such freedoms. In some locations they are forbidden from attending college and are permitted only the most menial of jobs if they are permitted to work at all. They are denied citizenship and are left to be used as a political tool to overwhelm Israel with Arab refugees and thus subsume Israel making it the Arab Muslim State and as soon as they are empowered the Jews cannot be permitted to stay on the lands. Whether they leave or not is not the question because there will be an immediate reaction once the Palestinians are permitted to take control of Israel and then disband the Israeli defense forces and using the licensing information on firearms ownership take all the guns from all the Israeli Jews, then rename the nation Arab only Palestine and no longer allow the Jews to live above the ground but six feet under the ground in their own tiny residence would be acceptable.

Just to set the record straight, after Israel got her independence the Arab and Muslim world forced over three-quarters of a million Jews out of their homes, businesses and taken their wealth to assist the governments for some reason or purpose, it was never clear, and they mostly went to Israel as other nations were not so accepting. Were these Jews placed in refugee camps to languish and produce more Jewish refugees to also languish in the camps eventually to be resettled who know where? No, the Jewish refugees were incorporated into Jewish lives and as Israeli citizens. There are no Jewish refugees residing in camps, just happy and productive Israelis. Meanwhile the Arab Palestinian leadership with the blessings of the Arab nations continue to demand their 22% of the land, the rest of the land would be more accurate, and demanding that the Jews return to the nations from which they came, except for the ones who used to reside in their Arab lands as they will need to go elsewhere. Odds are that many of the lands from whence the Jews came would also not welcome them back as they have Syrian refugees to start to integrate into their already unassimilated Muslim communities. The strangest of all maladies is the, “What do we do with those Jews,” malady. When they are in the midst of the rest of the world they are demanded to go to Israel, also known as where you people belong and not amongst us grander people and when they are residing in Israel they are told that they do not have any right to that land or any homeland. Add that Germany resumed printing Mein Kampf, but with notes about how wrongheaded it was and how the author was not exactly sane. I am sure these added commentaries will prevent anybody from taking the wrong message from reading the howling cries of a madman. Did we mention that Mein Kampf also became an instant best seller? Who’d have thunk that? We mean it is not like Europe was once again turning to flaming anti-Semitism, oh, wait, yes they are. The Foreign Minister of Sweden Margot Wallstrom has no idea how she got preferential treatment for housing in the capital getting a luxurious apartment but she is certain that the Jews are mucking it up wherever they happen to be. She has nothing against Jews as long as they are far, far away and that does not include allowing them to reside and have their own nation. Foreign Minister of Sweden Margot Wallstrom would not be so odious except that even if she was forced from office there are still so many who have minded their words who are still in positions where they likely are causing Israel more harm than Margot Wallstrom ever could. One example from the past has the conversation between Sarkozy when he was President of France and President of the United States Barack Obama spoofed in the image below, but it really was no laughing matter. Then French President Nicolas Sarkozy told President Obama, “I can’t look at him [Netanyahu] anymore, he’s a liar.” In response to this Obama retorted to Sarkozy, “You’ve had enough of him, but I have to deal with him every day.”

There is no lack of politicians, NGOs and governments who work to destroy the Jewish State of Israel simply because it is Jewish and at the same time complain to the Jews that they cannot protect them from the many haters who in Europe have begun to attack synagogues and Yeshivas (Jewish schools). In Malmo the situation has gotten so dangerous that the 4,000 souls which made up the Jewish community just five years ago now numbers under 500 souls. Malmo will soon be devoid of Jews as will an increasing number of cities which used to support rather large Jewish communities. The Jews in Europe have been seeing the signs in ever increasing numbers with many of the Jews fleeing to Israel and for those Jews we would love to welcome them home. If this were the end of the story, that would be a happy note with a happily ever after tinge. But it is not the end.

There is still a large Jewish community spread throughout the United States though it is concentrated in the larger cities, especially in the northeast of the nation. These Jews are currently not feeling the heat. This does not mean there is no heat, it just means they are happy in their ignorance and it has yet to reach proportions where it becomes undeniable except Jews are very good at willful blindness and deafness. Many American Jews even when confronted with undeniable anti-Semitism will discount it so they can continue believing as the Germans Jews of the Weimer Republic had before them constantly believing despite the signs, “It can’t happen here.” The problem with that attitude is that it stands contradicted by reality and the rise of anti-Semitism in the United States. Is it at levels anywhere near as bad as in Europe, not yet, but it will get there within the next decade. Will the American Jews realize the danger they will be facing as it continues to mount and the attacks on Synagogues, Yeshivas and increasing attacks on Jewish businesses, homes and individuals. No, not even if they themselves are the victim of such a crime, it will be sloughed off as a rare and unlikely scenario and never the true sign of an increasing problem. The majority of the generation who could have sounded the alarms when they saw such signs have almost all passes and the rest of the Jews pretty much avoid history all together, let alone learning from it. No, seventy, eighty, possibly ninety percent will wait until it is too late to get out safely. When we returned to home and Israel has proven to be just that, a homeland where we feel at home, only a few people understood, a very few, but one was Rabbi who showed honest glee at our decision and joined those welcoming our choice. We kidded about how Rabbi was actually happy to be rid of his gadfly but we both know he had grown to really like us though our initial melding to the community took time and Rabbi was somewhat distressed with our overly conservative views. What warmed him was a confusion he felt when he and I saw eye to eye on issues though for somewhat different reasons. We suspect Rabbi knew we would be more comfortable in Israel and he was right. The American Jews will continue to tell themselves that those people doing these things are not the majority nor will they ever represent the majority forgetting that the Nazis were a minority and we now know that a dedicated minority can hijack an entire nation and half the continent will go with you even if you don’t believe you can just as long as you claim to have a plan. The time is approaching and this is all part of Hashem’s plans to bring his children home to Eretz Yisroel and the current violence and political oppressions are His challenge for us to overcome and the answer is simple and can be expressed in a single world, Torah.
