A New World is Coming

 

And this new world will start by throwing out the old. That will be their initial mistake and what will follow are the same follies which we thought behind humanity. These youthful and exuberant individuals who make up the Nuevo-Left will throw out everything from before because they are the beginning and whatever came before was from the old and to be discarded. Unfortunately, we can use one item from the old to predict the future with these wunderkind at the head, and it comes from the pen of George Santayana who wrote, “Progress, far from consisting in change, depends on retentiveness. When change is absolute there remains no being to improve and no direction is set for possible improvement: and when experience is not retained, as among savages, infancy is perpetual. Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.” The last sentence has spawned a plethora of similar phrases all imparting the same wisdom and cautionary warning. But this too is from the past, from the first decades of the last century, so obviously it is old thought and thus rendered worthless. The United States Constitution, it is written on parchment, obviously far too old to be useful in this new age. The Bible too is from back in the Stone Age or close to it, according to new-think, thus it must be discarded as just a collection of useless adages. The Nuevo-Left is far too aware and advanced in thought to require such lessons as they are fashioning a whole new age, a new world where the fallacies of the past will be corrected. We can hardly wait for their new reality and can only wonder what they will have in mind for fossils such as ourselves.

 

This rant came as a response from a number of articles but we were put beyond the cusp and into committing our screed to post was, “Banned! High School Students Drop National Anthem,” which was just the last straw. The line which most closely resembled the reasoning was not so much the fact that there were “offensive words” and a reference to, “the hireling and slave,” but that the Star Spangled Banner, the American National Anthem, was written, and let us quote, “This song was written in 1814. That was written 204 years ago. Imagine all the traditions and laws that have changed.” Imagine that, two-hundred and four whole years ago, like even before television and the Internet. It is just so, you know, old. How could something that old have any relevance today. And while we are dating stuff, you know that thing, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, like those things are even older, written in the 17’s, the century before the National Anthem, so like useless, right? Whatever we do we should immediately publish a modern worded Bible and try and pass it off as like really new and kewl before they order them all destroyed for being from before paper and pencil. This New Age Nuevo-Left probably would immediately reject anything written in stone, so guess the Ten Commandments are out, even if the original copy chiseled by Moses could be found. This Nuevo-Left are set upon making a clean start and making this new civilization in their imagined perfect image. This should be absolutely wonderful.

 

Let’s see if we can make some hunch driven guesses as to the new rules, the Nuevo-Left will place on society. The first thing we should realize is that these of the Nuevo-Left are of that age and outlook that they know absolutely everything and have so much more knowledge than their adult cohabitants on planet Earth. The Nuevo-Left have looked at the world they are about to inherit and all they see is a mess which is obviously the result of the ancient ideas and laws under which it has been forced to operate. They are ready and willing to impart their great wisdom and correct all the errors of the past. All that is required for the world to become perfect is for all of us to surrender our free will and allow the Nuevo-Left, who, by the way, have a good number of adults who feel the same as them, to impose their will by any and all means available to them. And we need to fully understand, it is all about the feelings. You ask about thinking, well, that only comes in play when feelings fail, and how can good feelings which take everybody and their real needs into consideration ever fail? After all, look where thinking has gotten the world. The world could be improved so much if only feelings were the driving force as feelings are what it is all about. Those of the Nuevo-Left claim that the problems in the world today are caused by a few simply concepts, capitalism and the quest for monetary gains, the laws are rooted in the past and the results of every mistake of history, the system is unfair and leaves so many without while a small minority have most of the wealth. The way things are cements most people to live in the same social strata as they are born to, there is still way too much racism, sexism, homophobia, classism, ableism, xenophobia and the divisions that keep people apart, especially again racism plus other problems caused by nationalism, religion and other things such as identity politics.

 

Then there is one huge problem which has to be solved before things can ever get better, the unenlightened cannot be left in control. Who are the unenlightened? The unenlightened are those who disagree with our new leadership under the Nuevo-Left who are the truly enlightened and honestly know what is best for our society and have all the solutions if only they were to be given the opportunity to repair our world. There is a solution for the poor unenlightened, those who are stuck in the old world and just cannot let go of their unproductive identities, their refusal to let go of politics, of religion, of nationality or of any of the plethora of things which made up the old and broken world. The Nuevo-Left will help these poor unfortunates who have identity difficulties or are stuck with old-thought; they have an education program which will disabuse them of their old-thought and educate them making them accepting of the new-think of the Nuevo-Left.

 

 

All that remains to do is to hand over complete and total control to the youth with all the answers, the youth of the Nuevo-Left. They have all the answers to every problem. They know how to end wars, make militaries illegal enforced by the United Nations, right? How do we end poverty, redistribution of wealth with equal pay for any and all work. How do we end racism, reeducation until those stuck in hate learn acceptance. Actually, reeducation ends up being the solution to a whole litany of problems. If this sounds familiar like it was tried again and again throughout history, out with the old, in with the new and anything from reeducation to simply elimination of those who are part of the old. We have seen it in books such as Brave New World and 1984 which ends with the line that says it all, “I love Big Brother.” We have seen it in recent history with the Soviet Union and the Stalinist purges or in Communist China with Mao’s Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution and the ensuing Great Leap Forward. But this idea is not new as we saw this in the Roman Empire where those the Romans desired to destroy, they dispersed and enslaved as they did the Carthaginians and the Judeans (Jews). For the record, it did not quite work with the Judeans as they managed to retain their identity. Other examples of the new attempting to drive out the old claiming to have the solution to everything include the Nazis and their concept of the superior race, the Inquisition where they were to purify the world by imposing the only perfect religion, the Caliphate which spread from the Arabian Peninsula and continues to this day following the Quranic demand to spread Islam until all have surrendered to Allah and numerous other attempts at world conquest placing the governance, leadership and supremacy of the conquerors over those defined as the others. There is a concept in the Western and developed worlds that world conquest is an impossibility and that the world may eventually meld with time and agree to a new world order which oversees all but their belief is not universal and there are numerous centers of power in the world who still believe that they are destined to conquer the world and be its masters. Only the future will tell whether or not world conquest is possible and if such does come to fruition, then will it be by force of will, force of an idea, force of weaponry or some force completely unforeseen by our current knowledge. The one thing we can tell the Nuevo-Left, their ideas of a utopia if only they are given complete control of the governance, power, and enforcement will fail either because they were fortunately never given the opportunity or because they were able to take control of the United States and Europe, unified them under their sole governance. The only way the Earth will ever come under a singular rule will be voluntarily and very likely after humanity has spread to inhabit the cosmos and not before. But expect the Nuevo-Left to continue their revolutionary tactics expecting that the society will see the wisdom of their ideas and beg them to take control as they will not be given this power willingly and should they take it by other means they can expect to face great amounts of resistance. Let’s all hope that any changes come peaceably and through the will of the people and not by any other means for the sake of all the people.

Countdown to Impeachment

 

President Trump just made another major misstep; he failed to fight for his health care legislation empowering his enemies. Sure the media have been playing up each and every Tweet as if it were the crime of the century, but that has been hype, all hype. That is the job the media has in this attempt to overthrow democratically elected governance in the United States. The media are the shock troops playing the game as those infected with the screaming heebie jeebies. Their job is to foment the atmosphere of mistrust, suspicion and general mayhem so that anything which follows appears to have validity. When President Trump pulled the healthcare legislation admitting defeat, he opened the door to his downfall. His blaming the Democrats will only serve to instill in them more hate and spite leading them to become even more entrenched seeking his downfall. They were going to head in this direction anyways and this was inevitable, but now they will feel empowered and capable of blocking any and all attempts by the President to govern effectively. That always was the first step, take out President Trump’s ability to govern effectively.

 

The next step is already in motion and is being headed by the leading man of the disloyal progressive opposition, Senator McCain. McCain still believes he should be the leading figure in the Republican Party and has always felt they let him down and were the reason he lost in 2008. It has never occurred to him that the reason he lost in 2008 was that John McCain was completely outclassed and defeated by the media and his complete inability to excite the Republican base. John McCain actually believes he is a staunch and true conservative just because he opposes three or four extreme leftist ideas and otherwise is just as left wing as Hillary Clinton once those few ideas are removed from the equation. John McCain sees the election of Donald Trump not as a sign that he actually earned the election by getting the Republican base excited but because he got exactly who the media claim elected him, rabble and uneducated morons easily led off by Donald the Pied Piper Trump. McCain sees his position of fighting Trump as the Republican knight in shining armor saving the party from oblivion. McCain just cannot accept that his wing of Republicans are the lost sheep with nowhere to go and unable to ever win any national election and that the Republican Party has become truly conservative and originalist in their holding and understanding of the Constitution. The mainstream Republicans are now almost literally Tea Party Republicans who enforce the Constitution and its Amendments precisely as written to save the United States because anything less will allow the Progressives their eventual victory and the end of America. It matters not if that view is valid, it is where the base and the votes lie and McCain will never excite these people and they would rather stay home than vote for a phony conservative, a right leaning progressive.

 

So, now that the Democrats have been placed in the position of defending Obamacare which they see as the logical step to destroy heath care insurance and force single payer government healthcare as the saving grace along with the rest of their progressive pro-government programs which will lead to only one conclusion, they will rally and draw even tighter and any Democrat who was even considering not standing with the most radical of their party will be put on notice, stand with us or you will face defeat in the next primary election. The Democrats see the election of Donald Trump as their now or never position as they know that their cover has been blown and the “silent majority” has seen them for who they truly are. What is so sad is that many of their supporters still have their blinders in place and do not realize these monsters for who they really are. They still view the likes of Elizabeth Warren, Chuck Schumer, Maxine Waters and the rest for loyal liberals fighting the good fight for the cause. If only this were true, there would be hope; but a full third to forty percent of the voting public are firmly supporting the people who wish to place government as the board of directors over every major employer and while leaving private ownership and the belief that freedom exists, their reality would have government dictating almost everything even to production demands and buying habits to government through over-regulation to simple direct control. The Democrats who have taken control of the Democrat Party are full behind this central control and have the voters fully behind their ideas and reasoning which include such fronts as Global Climate Change, Corporate Greed is Evil, the Police are Fascist Shock Troops and the like. The Police are Fascist Shock Troops actually is one of the most ridiculous of these claims as it was under President Obama that enormous amounts of military vehicles and hardware were transferred to police forces across the United States at prices that I could have afforded one of those heavy armored vehicles that the police have at their disposal had I been permitted to purchase one and likely you could have as well. These were priced just slightly more expensive than two squad cars and were heavily financed by the Federal Government making even Mayberry Police able to buy one for officer Fife (there’s a joke there if you are old enough to remember Barney Fife and his bullet in his pocket so he wouldn’t shoot his foot again).

 

The plan is to continue to play hardball and allow John McCain to run interference on the right and when sufficient Republicans are convinced that Trump is simply incompetent and unable to accomplish anything, then they will strike. The claim will be he is and always was a phony businessman and never built anything in his life, accomplishing everything with his Daddy’s money and name. They will play up the incompetency of his presidency and that the nation deserves better. There will be moves to paint Pence and Ryan as well as people unable to rule effectively as they are just as bad as Trump. The entire idea is to get sufficient numbers of the population, 15% to 20% is all it takes with all centered in the major cities, believing that the only path to good and steady leadership is the Democrat Party, the moderate Democrats who even John McCain claims can be reasoned with and worked with. The entire Republican Party leadership and most of its truly conservative base Representatives and Senators will all be painted as subversive elements who are trying to destroy the nation supporting this losing child-President Trump. Then there will be the placing of the impeachment charges which will be all formal and will find an actual plausible reason, one the rabble can latch onto as a cause celeb. Once the votes are secured, the charge is irrelevant as in order to impeach a President you only need the votes in the House of Representatives and then to remove the President you need the votes in the Senate. The Constitution lays out the reasons of which one is malfeasance or the ill-defined “high crimes and misdemeanors” which could include anything from impropriety to murder to tax evasion to jaywalking, it all depends on what the media can sell and sufficient numbers of people accept. Understand that once charges of impeachment have been leveled against President Trump we can expect that the opposition will have the votes necessary with a comfortable extra few in numbers in case some get cold feet and shrink from the idea. The idea will be to have governance handed to those adults in the room who know how to govern and in order to prevent such a disaster as another President Trump from ever occurring again, the Electoral College will be thrown out along with all the other parts of an obsolete and useless piece of parchment that the Constitution has become, after all it was written by angry, old, slave owning, anti-woman, white men who did not understand what the world has become, after all they probably thought man should not fly because they do not have wings and such things. They had muzzle loading rifles, what could they have understood about machineguns? They are as outdated as powdered wigs and their Constitution; it’s the Twenty-First Century already, time to modernize America. The new rallying cry will be something just like that, Time to Modernize America for the Modern Times. With this they will restructure governance in the United States and America will be born and the entire concept of the United States as individual states in a federal government will die and Europe will welcome the new America to their failing ways which are failing as we were watching and will then be joining. You will know the fix is in should the new form of government be parliamentary.

 

 

The push is coming to make America a nation run by its major cities under Democrat Party control with the rest of the nation dragged along for the ride. The name bandied around and used against President Trump will never be applied to the new America as they could never be fascist, even if fascism is defined as the government taking control of the steering wheel and dictating to industry and big businesses how they can and will run their companies while permitting private ownership. The new government will rule absolutely not permitting even a scintilla of opposition to their ideas and demands on the people. Forget freedom as that is such an antiquated and quaint idea which does not permit the government to do what is right and correct for the people. The people are not as wise and worldly as are their betters in the government who all went to the correct schools and majored in how to rule over a nation. What could the peasants possibly know about how to run a successful country with the responsibility for directing all the industrial and managerial giants and be so astute to every nuanced concept; after all it was exactly this which brought every advancement since the bicycle. There will be posters and they will be Yuge and Wondrous and everybody will feel like saluting the posters, after all that is what the man on the corner with the big gun expects and we would not want him reporting our lack of enthusiasm. The poster, if it were honest, would look a lot like the one above, admit it, you wanted to straighten up in your seat and look good as if the poster was looking back through your monitor, didn’t you. Don’t let little slogans bother you because as long as you’re a good citizen, do your assigned job, oh yes, that’s right, the job your chose or were chosen for from first grade, and as long as you are happy, then you have nothing to fear. And just to make this Brave New World be a little happier, you did take your allotment of Soma today, we would not want to skip our Soma after work, after all it is for the nation to keep and stay happy. There you go, be a happy citizen.

Liberal and Conservative Redefined

 

The demonstrations, some claim rioting, over the election these last couple of days has pointed to the need to redefine the “New Age” definitions of a Liberal and a Conservative. For those residing in Europe during World War II, they got a taste of these definitions though then they were referred to by the more accurate titles of Fascists and those fighting for Freedom. Let us first understand that the modern use of these two terms have literally nothing to do with their original meanings and those who continue to use the classical definition of Liberal as open to change and Conservative as against the new and the changes it brings may feel cheated and offended. We apologize, but the evidence is out there on the streets calling for horrific responses to the result of the election, responses that traditional Liberals and Conservatives would and are appalled by and rightly so. The one thing that is constant in politics more than almost anywhere else is change, particularly in definitions.

 

The new definitions are as follows:

Liberal = liberation of the stuffy limitations of classical Judeo-Christian ethos of right and wrong. The new right and wrong is ‘Me right and You wrong, period, end of discussion.’

Conservative = protect and apply the Judeo-Christian ethics to society as any other societal model is heathen and immorally dangerous.

 

The definition for Conservative probably needs some deeper and more specific terminology but the Conservatives today include many of the former Liberals who believed in “fair play” and that when your opponents won the election you sought a more pleasing candidate and did some soul-searching to see where your side may have had deficiencies. Not under the new instant gratification crowd who probably have difficulty in figuring out why death means dead and not simply make a new character or use a resurrection scroll or start the game over with full life and ammo. We are being a tad facetious but this is the definitions the new left was raised with and were never denied being a winner as everybody gets the same size trophy which says “participant” or other empty descriptor on the base and all were cheered equally. These are the people who never kept score and the sides changed after everybody batted once. Some have never run the bases and stealing a base today would be tantamount to cheating, after all it is called stealing. These were people who saw no problem with there being no gender allotted to the class prom King and Queen as it all depended on how you defined yourself and there is no actual reality and being made in the image of the Creator is simply so “then” as to be ludicrous. The definitions have all changed and the only definitions which matter are the ones held by each individual and as long as you defined yourself with the proper “needs” specialty, then you were welcome but if you chose to be what used to be called normal or sane, then you had a problem and were the outcast.

 

There was a definition of evil and it was White, Straight and Male. Well, perhaps the White, Straight and Male should describe themselves in terminology these new Liberals could possibly accept, they are just Lesbian Women trapped in a Man’s body. I can hear the gasps and the anger already as obviously this is going too far as one is not permitted to mock these new liberators of peoplehood; mankind or humanity are no longer permitted as they have that evil “man” syllable within. OK, it’s to the reeducation camp for me as I am truly a troglodyte, a Morlock in an Eloi world. The new Liberals see themselves as the Eloi and see the previous generations and those with traditional values as the Morlock with one major difference, when the sirens blare today it is the Morlocks who are to march to their deaths at the hands of the Eloi. Their definitions are so in need of being shown the errors that it is bordering on sad.

There are going to be problems defining and understanding what is the reality from moment to moment as visions of past, present and future change as “newthink” will demand with redefined terms and the rewritten history changing all as it is fluid and easily diverted in any direction as the needs arise and where nothing is true which cannot be altered to fit the next trend. We were always had been and were at war with Eurasia until it became we were always having been at war with Eastasia but we were always right because we were citizens of Oceania and were ruled by Big Brother who was infallible. War was a constant and those who desired change would eventually be driven into the resistance which, oddly enough, was also run by the government so as to give people a perceived way out when all it did was find those needing reeducation. In the end one could only end up with one outlook, to love Big Brother and hate the leader of the Revolution who was jeered during the daily exercise of the Two Minutes Hate, Emmanuel Goldstein.

Just to keep this confusing we may as well jump to the next novel which is likely also not taught in today’s school as thinking is not encouraged, only obedience to the new truths and morals of special compensations. Soon enough society will produce exactly the distribution of workers genetically modified for their specific tasks in the society with mental abilities and training (programming) such that their assigned work will be found eminently satisfying and after work they will mingle within their caste and use the legally proscribed drugs and engage in the only thing which matters other than work, pleasure. Everybody will be sterilized and natural birth made illegal as it introduces variables and society must be ordered thus variables are unacceptable. The population must be kept in balance and all want eliminated as each type or caste of individuals will only find others of their caste attractive and only the elite will be permitted free thought as they are the scientists and the directors of the bureaucracy which controls society. There will be those for whom these ways are too restrictive and who might seek to have children of their own and thus sneak to find ways around the contraceptives demanded to be taken daily. These people are dangerous and excommunicated to an island or sent to the reservations where people live in horrific standards where there are variables and people are born naturally. Such is unacceptable in proper society though the savages do present an amusement for those who reside in the perfect world.

 

How much longer before all these horrors become true? How far into the future will society continue before we live in a 1984 style Brave New World? After that, how long before we split into two separate offshoots of humanity, the Eloi and the Morlock? These are the eventual results of the current path. Love of Big Brother, big, all-controlling, all-consuming, all-powerful governance which births different castes of peoples as needed and dictates every inch of life with universal surveillance using computers to monitor your every mood detecting the slightest deviations which will get one placed in reeducation or deported into the wilds of the Reservation unless the deviant is an Alpha who are sent to a special island where they live, reproduce and varieties of offspring are tolerated, even loved and treasured. A society where deviance is not permitted just as electing the wrong candidate apparently is not to be permitted by the programed youth today. No, all the youth are not infected and resisted the reeducation camps which pass for schools in most major leftist run cities and their suburbs. These will hopefully be the leaders who take mankind, yes; we used the “man” syllable, into a more promising future where everyone is not their own special basket case requiring special treatment by the government in order to survive.

 

Big Brother is Always Watching

 

Perhaps instead the future will have individuals as members of “peoplekind” and all real thinking and productive actions will need be automated and people will need to be “special” and entertaining so that their keepers, the AI robots will have them as their pets. Perhaps that will be the novel we will all live, a world where the robotic lifeforms control the “peoplekind” in much the same way as we keep cats, dogs and other pets. Start working on that adorable puppy eye thing you do when you want a treat, it might become necessary to survive. Whatever you do, never let on you are capable of independent thought as that is to be squelched as who knows where such might lead. Any variance from groupthink will be punished and if persisted will be dealt with in a severe manner resulting in sitting all day drinking sweet tea or coffee at the corner coffee and tea shop watching the television broadcast and every time his image appears you will be heard if one listens closely to murmur, “I love Big Brother,” then returning to your coffee or tea and maybe even taking a small bite of your buttered croissant.
