The Murderous Idiocy of Leftist Culture

 

Liberalism and Conservatism can only survive in Western Democratic institutions and in no other. Western Democratic governments are the sole incubators where sheer idiocy is tolerated by the masses. Still, these are the exact institutions attacked, demonized and condemned by Leftist culture while it idolized the Castros in Cuba, Hugo Chaves in Venezuela, the Communists of the Soviet Union, Pol Pot in Cambodia and every other failed dictatorial regime in the world. When one points to the utter failure brought on by all of these regimes, the answer is always the same, well; we would do it better and have the resources such that it will not fail. May we translate this for the rest of you who find this explanation at all appealing and potentially accurate? They mean to say that the Western World, due to its advanced economic models, freedom, private ownership of land and representative governance has grown economically where there would be no point at which we would fail like the others before we would die. This is why Hugo Chavez is their ultimate hero, he died before all the money in Venezuela ran out and his successor, Maduro, was the one left holding the empty bag a few short years later.

 

They have another argument which resonates well. This argument is that the democratic capitalist governance has failed even in the United States due to government debt which proves it is an unsuccessful form of rule and that it needs to die. This is also another deceit, as this debt only became such a hindrance to the point of challenging the government’s survival due to excessive socialist government programs. The United States began well in debt but free of all the socialist and centralized programs and Andrew Jackson as President paid off the debt in full, that is correct, in full. From his Presidency onwards debt was built back up and was still quite manageable until President George W. Bush nearly doubled the size during his eight years and then, not to be outdone, President Barak Hussein Obama almost doubled it again during his eight years which brought the debt from a paltry five-trillion before these two were elected to almost twenty-trillion today and even far higher when the future demands of unfunded liabilities are figured in. The hockey stick Al Gore drew for the temperatures of the earth for climate change is far more accurate a description of the national debt in the United States (see below). The problem since 2004 has been that the political choice became as corrupt as conceivable.

 

 

Here, let us explain briefly and succinctly. The mainstream Republican Party has deserted their base supporters. They have joined the vote-buying Democrat and all but drank the leftist Kool-Aid. They are even incapable of revoking Obamacare, something they had done regularly when they knew President Obama would veto their efforts. Now there is a President who would sign onto simple repeal of Obamacare and then hunting down the remaining fragments, which were buried in other legislation such as omnibus finance bills. But that would soon require that the Congress work to repair parts of the health insurance business and also find a means of permitting those items that have near universal support such as no penalty for pre-existing conditions and likely a dozen other allowances, which people believe, are fair and necessary. The thing which need be permitted is the sharing of these additional costs across the entire share of insured individuals. There is one item which will be thrown at the public, which President Trump should include as a major part of a prime-time broadcast. The statistic which will be throw up ad-nauseum will be the twenty million or two-hundred-thousand, depending on the person making the accusation, need be dispelled with the reality that the mass number of these will be people who choose not to have health coverage. Here is a surprise for most Americans; the Federal Government has extremely limited conditions for when they can make people do something. They can require you have a draft card, a Social Security number, but they cannot force you to buy insurance, that is left for the States to demand, if they so choose. If, by some stroke of magic, a President managed, with a great amount of Supreme Court assistance, could force the government back within the limitations of the Constitution, then our taxes would soon all but disappear. Imagine that if you can. Afterwards, the national debt could be paid off within a couple of decades, even at its current exorbitant amount. The left would consider this a wasting of funds which could be better used for the general good.

 

A true leftist nation, they can be found across Europe, taxes their population within a few minimal percentage points and then grants each citizen, according to some chart or table resembling an alchemist’s formula and procedure for taking quarts and making it into diamonds or the paltry lead into gold, a dole for housing, transportation, food, energy consumption, petrol, entertainment and other considered necessities and additional pleasantries. The people in most of these nations also have universal healthcare and very good public transportation systems. There is one item these nations have decided they no longer require, a military with the ability to do more than put on a parade. No wonder they are en-mass surrendering to the Islamic hordes flooding over their borders. It is in some way strange though understandable that the nations resisting this invasion; Poland, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Austria, Macedonia, Croatia, Serbia and Slovenia with Britain and the United States; the former almost all coming from the Eastern Bloc or Communist Warsaw Pact nations who have returned to religions which had been banned and are holding to the Judeo-Christian ethics, the same ethics which the rest of Europe has decided is useless in their new leftist utopias. The former Soviet satellite nations have lived and seen the depravations, which come from surrender to the leftist culture and the loss of having a Supreme Deity in which to place ones faith and follow their guidelines in ethics and human interactions. These people realize the loss when your deity is stolen, the truth that many Jews have known throughout their history as the first item on all their invaders, with the exception of Cyrus the Great of Persia, forced from their public interaction was Hashem and Torah. These Christians, largely from the Orthodox Churches, also have known the ordeal of having their grounding pulled from under them by removing their church, their priests, and their individual traditions and religious guidelines. Now they are permitted to return and rebuild their faiths.

 

Their experience was with Communism and its depravations and the slow and inevitably increasing death spiral the leftist ideology leads to in a society. The idea was that everybody deserves a certain minimal expectancy, which must be provided whether they bother to contribute to society or simply live from the efforts of others. This is from the basic view, which was summed by the quote popularized by Karl Marx in his writing Critique of the Gotha program, published in 1875, “To each according to his needs from each according to his ability.” This leads to people with lengthy and full expectations while finding that they have virtually no ability to produce within the system. People will tend to work in a half-hearted nature while expecting to live like a monarch. Of course, they end up not living like royalty and eventually are forced into a job for which they may not be suited but any production from them is better to none. Productivity dies and so will the economy and the eventuality came towards the end of the 1980’s as the Soviet Union attempted to keep abreast of the United States spending on their SDI program (Strategic Defense Initiative) which the United States easily spent billions of dollars and the Soviet Union collapsed financially and politically and soon behind them the entirety of the Warsaw Pact nations declared their independence and removed their communist rulers with varying levels of violence. The more violent the ruler’s practices the more violent their removal with Nicolae Ceaușescu of Romania being one of the last to be deposed and probably the one who met with the greatest violence against him and his elite security personnel. That was the fall of one great leftist enterprise that fell under its own weight.

 

Leftists care little for the history of their ideas. They have an answer for every last one of their failed programs, they just required more funding and then they would have worked. The War on Poverty has been waged with ever increasing funding and additional programs since the mid to late 1960’s when President Lyndon Baines Johnson first implemented these programs that formed the base. These base programs continue to these days and have been implemented upon near endlessly with ever more funding for the base and every one of the numerous and expanding complimentary programs. These programs and the leaching of funds from the treasury sapped the ability of the Federal Government to actually fund those things that are necessary without adding to the debt. Eventually this stretched funding to the breaking point where the entire underpinning of Western Civilization was threatened. In Europe, this went completely beyond the point of no return and necessary programs such as defense and repair of roadwork and bridges fell by the wayside. This led to what David Brooks wrote in the New York Times, where he stated, “starting decades ago, many people, especially in the universities, lost faith in the narrative of Western civilization. They stopped teaching it, and the great cultural transmission belt broke. Now many students, if they encounter it, are taught that Western civilization is a history of oppression.” This was further placed into doubt when we see what happened after Donald Trump, while in Poland, called to defend “Western civilization.” The entire liberal spectrum of media, intellectuals and journalists labelled Trump’s speech an example of “alt right” thinking. The reasoning for why this was so was based upon his calling for a return to families with children and for returning to faith in the Creator and faith, which underpinned the driving force of Western Civilization.

 

The main reason that the leftists are so troubled with the Presidency of Donald Trump has nothing to do with Donald Trump and everything to do with Hillary Clinton and her not receiving the gift which was presumed to be promised her. Further, she was to carry on the leftist dream and bringing the end of Western Civilization through the importing of a contrary and regressive belief system. They believed that Hillary Clinton would allow the influx of an uncontrolled number of “refugees” from Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Yemen and numerous other MENA (Middle East and North Africa) placing them around the nation eventually causing strains on the fabric of the nation. The aim of the leftists was the murder of Western Civilization and culture even if it meant the death of the United States. The leftists will honestly tell you that the Constitution and the Bill of Rights along with the Declaration of Independence are no longer applicable and are simply some old pieces of parchment with no relative application in our modern world. By the way, the Bible is also considered guilty of being too old a document to be useful in their world. One can only wonder how they would feel about the Quran because the Europeans, if they continue on their current programs, they will become very familiar with the Quran as their new rulers take control by force, place dictatorial leaders over their societies, end elections and they all, including the leftists, Dhimmis. That will wake up the leftists as immediately after they try to tell their new masters that their ideas just do not quite mesh with their ideals of equality of the sexes. That will go over really well in their new Islamic society, well, not quite.

 

The reality is their idea of importing a society, which values a hierarchy and totalitarian control over the population. They probably believe that they can use this other groups’ disdain for Judeo-Christian culture and civilization to rid them of their nemesis, Western Civilization and its Capitalistic, democratic and Judeo-Christian base. This is far from their first attempt to use an alien cultural rival to destroy Western Civilization and everything that comes with it, especially the underpinnings of the United States. The original system, which they believed could supplant the Judeo-Christian ethic, was Fascism, to be more specific, Nazism. World War II destroyed that attempt but there were those such as Charles Lindbergh and numerous other American icons who thought that the ideals of Fascism as practiced by Mussolini and Hitler were the future which could save America. It did not take long, after World War II the next great hope was Soviet Russia and Communism. Walter Cronkite was a Communist sympathizer possibly in the employ of the Soviets, though this news did not come until he was residing in international waters on his yacht, then he made his great admittance. Communism was the next great idea to replace Capitalist Western civilization. They tied their hopes on the greatness and power of Russia, the Soviet Union, the eight-hundred pound gorilla in the room. They took their time but they failed. The main thing is that anything is considered superior to Western Civilization and all that it contains. The main thing is, everything you think you understand is considered inconsequential to every leftist. Leftists have a priority, an order of what is good and what must be erased. Christianity is considered a danger and need be opposed but Judaism is the source of everything the left abhors. The left has the thinking down and will gladly inform you as to how off the correct line of all that is reasonable is defined. For the leftist, War is Obsolete, Peace through Surrender, Cultural Suicide, Adoption of all Others, Up is Down and Down is Sideways and All is Lost, and Finality is Beginning. Of course, all of this means Israel must become the anathema of everything the Leftists believe and thus deserves to die. The sheer existence of Israel is proof of the Creator and the left cannot allow such belief. Christianity is a difficult enough belief to deconstruct but Judaism is impossible to deconstruct because almost every Jew appears to have a basic internal programming, which cannot be challenged or changed. That is the basis of the leftist hatred of everything Jewish.

Venezuela is Just the Latest Example

 

Socialism is the greatest form of magic and it can work wonders under one small technicality; those in charge must be capable of predicting everything and every need weeks before they occur. There have been some great minds and some not so great minds which have attempted to master this simple little but key problem. They have never succeeded and likely until we have some extremely advanced artificial intelligence (AI) capable of figuring more computations and be inspired and intuitive as well, even AI will not save the day. Unfortunately for Venezuela they were relying on Hugo Chavez’s daughter and the rest of his crony socialists which has led to the riots in the streets because when the government gives everything and its fails, everything fails right along with it. The people are suffering as there is no food, no electricity, nothing, not even toilet paper. Venezuela is on the fast track to join that other socialist utopia, North Korea as that was the system they were emulating. What were they thinking? Anyone looking at North Korea and thinking, ‘hey, maybe we should try that total socialist thing and see how it works for us geniuses,’ is asking for ruin for their people. But what they saw in North Korea was the ruling elite who were living large and eating good and they looked no further than the feast served in the palatial grounds of the Kim family and thought, we can live large too. They didn’t look at the people who have been eating grass and the bark off of trees. North Koreans have it so good that they are trying to sneak into China where they see a world of plenty. Maybe China has found a secret to make socialism work as China is socialist, right?

 

So, since China might have found a secret, perhaps looking back at the socialist history and see what their magic bullet turned to be. Back when Mao Tse-tung initiated his socialist communist utopia of a planned production and state run farms and factories, they had such a failure that it is still unknown how many Chinese paid with their lives as a result of that first famine produced by crop and other farm failures. Estimates run from hundreds of thousands to tens of millions to hundreds of millions to unimaginable millions. The only Chinese who were safe from father Mao’s wonderful central planning were the peasants living in the furthest reaches of China in the remote farmlands who raised their own crops and were self-sufficient. Mao Tse-tung and his central planners then came up with a brilliant idea based on those remote peasants and allowed the farmers to work and plant as they saw fit and permitted them to keep sufficient food to feed their communities. But the factories still were under central planning because the communists understood the needs of the people. There were often shortages of particular items and sometimes unforeseen demands which were completely unexpected and there would be a lag time and waiting lists grew for such things as cars, televisions and other thought of luxury items. Housing became more sterile and stark as central planners placed a higher emphasis on quantity over quality and function and basics over appearance and luxury or even comfort. The people wanted more and knew about the rest of the world despite the attempt to control their news from the outside world. Mao Tse-tung gave in areas to the better minds but still retained much of the control centrally and thus restricting reactive production which led to continued waiting lists and production lagging demand sometimes by years. Mao died and the communists with time made a fateful decision as their economies could not meet their directive goals. They let loose of a degree of control and allowed for a select group of entrepreneurs, some free enterprise where industry owners were permitted to keep some of their profits providing they met the expectations and projections. This stimulated their economy and this led to meeting projections and industrial and economic growth beyond anything they had previously attempted. This led to economic growth rates sometimes surpassing 9% annual gains and brought the Chinese economy into the modern age and spawned the rise of a middle class, a new concept in socialist governance. But China was no longer a purely socialist system and it was the free enterprise which was permitted economic freedom which spawned the growth rates.

 

I can hear the questions asking what would happen if the growth rate slowed or even, heaven forbid, hit a recessive downturn. Well, that would be an easy one to answer with only one problem, the Chinese economy had been so repressive that the last decade plus, as they liberalized their economy and allowed more and more of the economy to be a semi-free demand economy with free enterprise, that they only recently finally reached a point where their gains slowed and failed to meet expectation and fell below their desired, if unreasonable, 9% per year and the initial signs are what some might call ominous. The central planners are showing signs of throwing out the baby with the bathwater as they are showing indications of returning to form and taking back the control over production planning thinking they can plan better than the profiteers as their decisions are empirical and not driven by guessing and risk taking. There is a positive side to this and that is we will see if after having witnessed the methods of for profit manufacturing and investment that the central planners might have an improved ability at decision making. Even if the central planning takes back sufficient control that the wait lists return and they end up where they were before their first experiment in free market economy, then their second experiment in free market economy will be the same inevitable success that they had the first time. The reason a free market economy works is that it is driven by greed, a vice which has never been vanquished from the human spirit and as long as there is greed, then profit based economy will work the best in satisfying the greed of the proletariat and the bourgeoisie as all gain from such a driven system. This could lead to a cyclical Chinese economy with it going in spits and starts as the free market produces growth until the inevitable recession. The central planners then clamp their control back over the economy and as that fails they resort to free market until it slows and back and forth and back and forth and eventually one will prevail. The likely winner, for the benefit of the Chinese people, will hopefully be free market and the central planners simply resort to governing wisely as we have always been taught the ancient Chinese rulers had managed when they were not fighting against one another in order to consolidate their control. The one thing that can be learned from the Chinese who found their way to allow for free market economy when central planning failed to meet the people’s demands is that even central planners can sometimes know when they have failed before it is too late.

That is the problem with too many socialist governments, even those which are based on a free market economy but use socialist programs to redistribute wealth more evenly and to provide retirement income so nobody gets left out in the cold. When these programs reach a point where they outstrip the resources then either taxes need to be increased or other means of making the programs affordable even if they must cut back on their benefits. When the taxes are too high in order to presumably pay out welfare and retirement benefits the economy can still collapse into freefall such as was the case resulting from the 2008 economic downturn, bust if you insist, and Greece, Spain and others found themselves so deep in the hole that the economy was unable to recover. This was further exacerbated by the fact that they are on the Euro which receives much of its value based on the combined economies of the European Union which include Britain, Germany and other nations whose economic output is far greater than Greece thus Greece could also not support the value of the Euro which furthered their problem. The single currency may result in the end of the European Union if the nations being damaged by the single currency decide to leave so they can manage their own currency. Add into this the Brussels Eurocrats dictating immigration policies and forcing refugees into countries which feel threatened by the refugee situation. This will be a further demand on the economies of the nations taking in the refugees and you have another stress that will force more nations into economic difficulties. There is much to look at going forward and Europe is on the leading edge of the coming problems many which will result from the many and varied conflicts and other problems ongoing in the Middle East and North Africa, things we will most certainly cover here along with the other items of particular interest around the globe. In the meantime, let us hope that Venezuela figures out where they went wrong and change their economic means and systems to something which at least can feed and provide a few other necessities and even the luxury of toilet paper soon and the people can stop rioting and work and produce for their own enrichment and not just the enrichment of the central planners who apparently decided their wealth mattered more than the people and are now facing an ugly truth, they were wrong. We could hope for the people of North Korea as well, as their new leader, Kim Jung Un is apparently unbalanced and seems to believe if he is doing well the people should be happy enough by that knowledge even if they lack for virtually everything including decent food.

Thoughts on the World on This Day

 

The negotiations between Turkey and Israel are proceeding as if running uphill through thick maple syrup. The Turkish Foreign Minister claims that the next high level meeting will end with an agreement. The Israeli negotiating team in London, England stated that these most recent negotiations showed no progress and that the impasses remain. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s spokesperson Ibrahim Kalin recently stated matter-of-factly that there can be no rapprochement between Turkey and Israel until Israel ends the naval blockade of Gaza and ends the occupation by Israel of Palestinian lands. This would appear to be a deal breaker making any return of normal relation impossible. We find this wonderful news as we believe that Israel normalizing relations with Turkey, a Muslim country which plays both ends of Islam against one another, is just one more sycophantic symptom of Israeli leaders belief they must please the whole world, even or especially their enemies. This game should become fun to watch as Iranian President Hassan Rouhani is to visit Turkey this week and Saudi Arabia’s King Salman is also to be in Turkey starting from Monday. The presumed leader, or at least high ranking servant of the Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, of Shia Islam is to visit Turkey at the same time as the presumed leader of the Sunni world visiting Turkey should provide some amusement. It should end up like a man handling his mistress while on a business trip where his wife arrived to surprise him.

 

On to Iraq and the failures of its government and the surprises when viewing exactly who is upset. The thought was that the Shiite population in Iraq with the assistance from Iran would be in a virtual; perfect world. There are a few problems with this situation which were not anticipated. The biggest problem is the really, really low oil prices. This is due to Saudi Arabia’s assault on Iran through flooding the market with low priced oil knocking the profit out of much of the world’s oil production. This low price has forced the closure of numerous fracking sites as the price of reaching the oil was too expensive even though the shipping costs were minimal. The actual aim by the Saudis was Iran and their allies in Syria, Iraq, Yemen and elsewhere. The American Fracking concerns were a secondary target which the Saudis are more than happy to see abandoned as they became economically unviable. If the United States were playing the game long term they would have stepped in and subsidized their oil and gas industry in order to send a message to the Saudis that the United States will be in this game and not abandon being internally provided and succumbing to the Saudi pressure forcing them from viability just so the Saudis can raise prices later and have everybody dancing to their tune. The additional fact that the Russians are also caught in the vice of the Saudi ploy was simply icing on the cake.

 

When the legacy for the Obama administration is being written it will hopefully have a few chapters which will require waiting until the complete story had played out in Iraq. President Obama was handed an Iraq which was mostly a done deal and took a concerted effort to completely erase all the hard work which had led to that point and somehow President Obama managed to mishandle and fumble that handoff within two years. Why two years? That was because it took that long for graft and greed to destroy all the hard work which had all but solved almost every issue. All that was left to do was oversee the government and make sure that they did their jobs and did not steal everything which was not nailed down. There was also the little thing called treating the people fairly. The initial problem which would have signaled there was a problem would have been the Kurdish areas as they already had a regional government which was up and working and thus had a means of voicing their displeasures. The next area one could look was the Sunni areas which also had a built in warning system, namely the Sunni Ministers who were arrested or fled the government before being arrested and subsequently tortured or murdered. Even had all these gone by undetected, even a blind man should have picked up on the increasingly violent Shiite demonstrations rising against the Iraqi government and the return of Moqtada al Sadr to prominence. The last item would have been the acceptance of the Islamist terrorist entity ISIS growing to such prominence unopposed initially by the government in Iraq as they had warnings galore that all was not well in the central Sunni areas which were the first to show displeasure and finally did turn to the Sunni terror state which proved to be a nightmare but were unable to receive any support fighting ISIS when they might have been most easily defeated from the central government leading to the middle of the country to simply fall into the arms of the Sunni Islamists.

 

Another area which the Obama government got wrong was Egypt where President Obama gladly backed the Muslim Brotherhood and was so infatuated with their rule that they completely ignored the Egyptian people who rose up against the Muslim Brotherhood whose mismanagement of the economy and infatuation to the point of obsession with applying the Sharia and doing so as quickly as possible that they missed all the warning signs. When even Turkey’s President Erdogan tells you that you are attempting too radical an approach and agenda and that they would be better served to slow their pace of incorporating the changes, then you might have a problem. Their refusal to adjust led directly to the coup by the military which then installed a temporary government while elections were held. The military showed more sympathy for the people than had the government of the Muslim Brotherhood. This led directly to the ouster and outright banning of the Islamic Muslim Brotherhood who had simply tried to do too much too fast and won itself the ire of the people.

 

The next boondoggle was Libya and the terrorist overrunning of the Benghazi Consulate. This required the willful blindness of both the President and the Secretary of State. Of course both of these individuals were more concerned with the reelection of President Obama which largely led to their ignoring repeated pleadings for greater security and additional people in Benghazi. Then followed the dropping of the ball through a clumsy cover-up designed to put off any bad publicity by a willful media. The needless deaths of four Americans was something which screamed to be heard and was simply too great a tragedy to be swept under the rug. That did not matter as the reelection went as planned and the revelations about Benghazi slowly emerged and by that time the American people had moved on. Nothing was going to damage the administration this late in the game, but the end of Benghazi has not been heard from as it will most definitely return loud and clear should Hillary Clinton be the Democrat candidate for President this coming election cycle. The televisions will carry wall-to-wall video of Hillary before the Senate committee investigating Benghazi stating, “What difference now does it make.” That is when Benghazi might finally be felt.

 

In Israel it is everything normal all upsides down. Israel is still being accused of colonialism by the conquerors of their homeland from in the early seventh century. The Arabs were simply the last of a whole host of colonial enterprises all attempting to dislodge the Jewish People (the Israelites) from their native ground and capital city of Jerusalem. It started with the Babylonians who were felled by the Persians who gave way to the Greeks who morphed into Rome which split into the Byzantines who lost out to the Arab Muslims and now that the aboriginal peoples are returning to claim their homelands from the greatest colonialists who spread and even outdid the British and are crying foul. If anybody can find a people who are still a viable people who predate Kings Saul, David and Solomon and predate Joshua it would be quite interesting. The Arabs broke out of Arabia in the early seventh century and have been proudly declaring their intent to conquer the globe and they are calling the Jews colonials?

 

What could be more ludicrous than that? Additionally, in order to assure he has the title President for Life and to never hold another election for the “Palestinians” Abbas has now established a Kangaroo Constitutional Court to declare election are not possible because Israel did it. He has refused to hold elections knowing a snowball would last longer in Hell than he would in office if elections were held and he has a ready-made scapegoat which the European and United Nations are more than happy to blame along with him. How the Palestinian Authority refusing to hold election in the lands where they have been unfortunately granted a semi-autonomous rule can be somebody else’s fault is beyond logic, but since when did logic ever come into play if the Jews can be blamed.

 

Meanwhile Europe is in panic mode because their great plans on inviting anybody claiming to be a refugee from a conflict in the Middle East is not working out as planned. Imagine that. Who thought for a moment allowing herds of people whose standing is living in a governmental system where fair elections are the ones where they know the outcome only days in advance of the voting instead of years and the Europeans cannot understand what went wrong. Still, the Europeans continue to demand that the Israelis allow any and everybody who desire to vote and claim residence for their elections vote for their parliament, the Knesset, and cannot understand why Israel would balk at such a demand. Some people, and by this we are referring to the people who are in power and are completely unable to see what is plainly before them. Perhaps it is time to clean house Europe.

 

The American primaries are continuing and both parties are now wishing they had a viable alternative to their frontrunners. The Democrat elite are sold on Hillary because she and Bill still have the FBI files on most of them. The Republicans had seventeen candidates so have no one to blame but themselves for not straightening things out before it became Cruz or Trump or who are you kidding from Ohio where he won you know. If we had to pick the race now it would be Bernie feel the Bern Sanders against Cruz but as long as the Democrats pull the rug out from under Hillary once again thus making her honorary Charlie Brown and the Football award winner, then Bernie wins against either frontrunner of the Republicans. Yes, the Americans know he is a socialist and really do not care as he has the most experience in government yet is probably the most outsider of them all having never joined either Party. Yep, the democrats are going to nominate an Independent over the actual Democrat in the race. What next?

 

 

 

Oh, even Putin has pulled most of his troops out of Syria leaving in as many as required to protect the naval bases they have there and leaving Assad clinging to power and Iran equally hard. The Russians never were actually fighting the Islamic State and why should they as it is not their problem and the Islamic State is not so stupid as to tug on Superman’s cape or anger Putin, there is little difference except Russian revenge is swifter. That leaves Syria as the most dysfunctional nation on earth with Iraq right behind. The next after that are Pakistan, North Korea tied with Greece and Greece has a wider glimmer of hope named German Banks. The European Union is nervously awaiting the vote this fall by the British on whether to remain even loosely attached to the European Union and the Brits are really glad they continued to hold on to the Pound Sterling and only accepted Euros in trade. Meanwhile, I am sure there are politicians worth their salt in France and Germany thinking of returning to the Franc and the Mark. If they ever actually do that, the European Union is dead, done, fini!

 

China is in the midst of a quiet disaster waiting to happen as they have not met growth projections for a year and a half. They are reacting as one would expect, returning to the good old ways of managed economy with the central government reverting to their communist roots. This will simply exacerbate the problem and that will drive them further still from any capitalist economic engines and back to their five year plans. That will work exactly as it did when it drove them to try capitalism except this time it will be seen as saving them from capitalism. Somewhere along the way China came to believe that capitalism could never slow down and growth would be a constant ten percent or higher. That proved to be a tad too optimistic so they are slowly dismantling the entire effort and returning to what they know will fail, but at least they will control the failure and will blame it on capitalism and become even more draconian and this should tumble China from economic dynamo feeling a small crunch to economic basket case rushing headlong to the bottom but doing so in a controlled manner. Their controlled crash will resemble an Airbus A380 whole wings and tail rudder fell off at 35,000 feet. Anybody standing between China and rock bottom should look up and be prepared to dodge a falling giant.
