Hating From the Word Go!

Right from the start let us set the record straight, the Republicans who refused publically to attend the Inauguration of Barack Obama were wrong to make it public, especially if they made a big show of such in the mainstream media, social media, alternative media and elsewhere. The current identical actions by those boycotting the Inauguration of Donald Trump are equally wrong. The big difference is the mainstream media and their joyous celebration of the boycotts being performed as a grand show now and the critical coverage they gave such in 2008. I will grant everybody a miniscule but infinitely important morsel of credit; at least nobody tried to make a mockery of the President elect and Vice President elect laying a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, well, except the most petty. Such mockery would have been so below the belt and uncouth beyond measure and as unacceptable as anything possible. Do not get me wrong, I respect these people’s right to do exactly what they are committing to do. My admonition goes to those from his party, the Republicans, the “Never Trump” Republicans, the Republicans who used every piece of rumor, dirt, suspicion of evil deeds and anything found against Trump even to repeating charges made by the Democrats amplifying their voices, the Republicans who used everything in the Republican National Committee computers such that the Russians found nothing new there to throw at Trump as they found with Hillary Clinton. News to everybody, News Flash, important news; Donald Trump is President and the United States is really in crisis with a government far too huge and cumbersome which is the exact swamp which needs draining. The problem which Trump will run up against first is that he cannot under the law just tell people in government, “You’re Fired,” and make it stick because the rules forbid exactly that. That is the reality, the swamp is protected by law and Trump and his administration will need to find some way of removing the dead wood sitting smug and comfortable pretending nothing can touch them. Well, there are other means of forcing one to depart the government such as making their working conditions too demanding and uncomforting. Force them to perform acts under their definition of office which are against their very principles and finally simply transfer them somewhere that does not permit family to also be allowed and repeat transfers until they decide it really is not worth the aggravation just to oppose the President. Should the President require somebody with experience and knowledge on how to make a workplace support only that which is the President’s promises, we are available.

One ideal example is Columbia Professor of Modern Arab Studies Rashid Khalidi who fears that these people supporting Israel, “And unfortunately, these people infest the Trump transition team, these people are going to infest our government as of January 20.” Professor Khalidi is an Islamic Arab who believes that all of Israel is occupied and that Jews are not entitled to any “Arab lands” and the Zionists are colonizers. Needless to understand is that Professor Khalidi is an atypical Arab spokesperson, American born, pro-Palestinian, reputed but denied being a PLO spokesperson in Beirut in the 1970’s and 1980’s, when Israel and the US considered the group a terrorist organization (see photo below). Obviously Professor Khalidi is among those who are less than exuberant about the new day with President Trump in the White House. Professor Khalidi was welcome at the White House during President Obama’s administration. He was hopeful that President Obama would hinder and possibly lead to the destruction of the Jewish State. The end of Israel and the imposition of Islam on the world making the world safe for the Arab people throughout all the continents, well, possibly except Antarctica as it might be just slightly too chilly during the winter that close to the South Pole. If one has surveyed the lands which were conquered by the Arabs between 620 and 750 and the indigenous peoples in these areas which remain under Arab rule, they would notice they have become an almost unnoticeable minority. The area of Egypt had a large population of Coptic Christians and a very active Jewish society before 625 and by the year 1700 the Jewish population was disappearing and the Christians were relegated to small enclaves and today there is no Jewish community and the Coptic Christians are a threatened group who, if we had lists of endangered human societies, the Coptic Christians would be amongst those on the list.

Let us return back to the new American President, Donald Trump. If one were to simply search here at BTC entering with quotes “Trump” “failure” one would find this has been a repeated subject as it is rampant and amplified by the mainstream media making it appear to be a pandemic when actually it is only three to four times the size from the people equally infuriated with President Obama being elected and being also equally boisterous. One of our favorites and we think almost amusing was It’s In, Trump’s Failed Presidency. Now that the inauguration is history and we are officially in the start of what will be those fateful first one-hundred days of the Trump Presidency, it is going to be interesting to see what the mainstream media makes of his successes and failures. It can be bet that what they term as a disaster or really terrible for the nation and the world will be the exact items where President Trump delivers upon his campaign promises. One item which will be interesting to read will be how as President Trump, providing the Republican congress actually work with him and not join those opposing everything he does, actually delivers on lowering taxes for the majority of people, deregulates businesses following through on what small businesses and others have noted are worthless busywork regulations and other things which would be approved by many people providing they were presented with these actions as theoretical and not attached to any political party or special interests. What many people do not understand and something I found out about as my Mother ended up working at home filling in forms and checking everything at least twice as errors on these forms were criminally punishable by long prison terms. Imagine having dozens of regulations each month with each averaging two pages of forms all requiring a grasp of basic math, some accounting, understanding poorly and distressfully worded instructions with vague meanings (yes, potentially double meanings) and deadlines for filing and this was way back in ancient history, the 1960’s to the 1980’s just to keep my Father’s tailor shop which employed himself, assistance from my mother and more often than not one tailor as an employee. Now imagine a plumber who has a small one city plumbing service and contracting company with twenty or thirty plumbers and fifteen trucks. Such a small company would require at least one person if not more to handle the required paperwork spawned by regulations. Ever wonder what happened to the neighborhood doctor’s office? When I was a kid, yes, I know I still act like one, we had a lady doctor who we could get treatment and she would assist in cover stories on how we injured ourselves, even when she saw you break your arm car surfing. She closed up the office in her house and joined three other doctors in a clinic which had a receptionist and two people who handled billing and regulation forms and they were considering hiring another. Take a look at the local school and remember back to your school days and there is little comparison if you are over thirty. There are three times the councilors, more than one principal, numerous vice principles (my high school of almost 4500 students had two), and an EEOC advisor (at least one), and a near uncountable number of secretaries spread around the various offices, and positions we never even heard of back in the day all because there are numerous requirements that the schools must fulfill, many having to do with sex education, equal opportunity for students, special education programs, physical education requirements and more and more federally imposed programs which the schools must document that every last one of these additional educational requirements are provided for the students or covered by teachers even to the point of students having to document receiving some required courses. None of these courses have anything to do with reading, writing, arithmetic, math, history, civics or any other educational subject but are usually more along the line of indoctrination.

So as Trump gets rid of regulations we will hear how Trump is releasing the polluters to destroy the air and water, killing endangered animals, allowing for price gouging, releasing restraints on bad things, vague bad things which will be left undefined other than they were bad things being loosed on the people. Imagine the productivity that could be increased if the numbers of regulations and required documentations by businesses. What could be wrong with that? Well, it will allow the people who own these businesses to enjoy larger profits, you know, allowing the rich to get richer. Further, the screams of his making certain jobs no longer necessary are simply outlandish. I doubt Donald Trump could ever get rid of so many regulations and other demands from government to cause widespread unemployment. Honestly, if President Trump can force the revocation of sufficient regulations and required documentation which would require also reducing state regulatory agencies which were initially brought into being by the Federal Government and many even financed initially by the Federal Government and later were just unloaded onto the states. Such a present to the American people would be unprecedented and unbelievably liberating freeing businesses and beyond but the media and special interests would howl and declare foul because they depend on these regulations to enforce their will on the hapless public. So what might result in the most voluminous in quantity and levels of sound could also be the greatest favor President Trump could give the people, regulation depletion allowing people to act with less tethers and restrictions or unnecessary paperwork all because the simple presumed fact that if Trump does something, then it must necessarily be an evil thing and must be denounced. I can hardly wait to hear the squealing from the mainstream media at every turn as President Trump and his administration move forward. The first circus we are already witnessing, the Senate hearings and approval of his Cabinet and other appointments requiring Senate affirmation. Allow us to give you a simple and different way of viewing Trump’s appointments, the Cabinet appointees are not supposed to necessarily be experts in whatever field of their administration, they are to be managers who know how to listen to experts, have an ability to understand even complicated explanations, manage people and use their skills, know how to balance those who work with them and setting up the administrative structure to best advantage to produce the most efficient results. Imagine an efficient government department, any one of them, just imagine. The problem is it would be difficult because doing so would make so many government employees superfluous and imagine how the media would howl if, by fiat, the government let one third of their employees go and have to find real jobs. The screaming would be that President Trump was causing massive unemployment because where would these government employees find work with their skills? We would be led to believe that government employees are unacceptable as employees in the real world, imagine that. Could that be true or is that simply fear mongering, but then again, we are talking about people screaming whose deepest skill is warning of catastrophic disasters should their warnings not be heeded. Oh, by the way, they are, more often than not, simply wrong. So, let the games begin.

What Did You Expect From Candidate O’Perfect

The promise was “Hope and Change” and the rallying cry that made just as much sense, “Yes, We Can!” and was just as vague and amorphous and undefined as was everything in the Candidate O’Perfect’s past. Check all his brilliant articles he had to have written to be made editor of the Harvard Law Review. But no, none are able to be seen yet he was the editor by some mysterious rite of passage as if such was required for some potential future, some arranged, bought and paid for future where he would be a good front man and allow his strings to be pulled, his image and accomplishments massaged so he would appear bright and shining and the all-around perfected candidate; he became candidate O’Perfect. O’Perfect attended Occidental College, a small urban Los Angeles college, from 1979 to 1980 without leaving any records of attendance, grades or many people who saw him in classes or even any footprints in the soft grass after a rain because the grooming of Candidate O’Perfect must never receive a blemish or have a speck of lint show on his perfectly tailored suits as such would be as a stain on the record. Next Candidate O’Perfect attended Columbia University in New York, New York from 1980 to 1983, where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science which was oh so perfect and totally free of any blemish for nothing was too good for the grooming of Candidate O’Perfect. We suspect the Candidate O’Perfect actually was simply student normal out enjoying the freedoms and liberties which many students at college avail themselves of and probably was invited or simply attended some event where he either was invited to speak or took an opportunity to speak and the right set of people hears him and that was actually when Candidate O’Perfect was born. First they assured that he would receive his degree with sufficient class standing.

Stage two was the seasoning of Candidate O’Perfect getting him the required bonafides by arranging his activities as a community organizer. He organized and he organized until he had been seasoned sufficiently and aged like a fine Champaign, or was that campaign. Now came the time for the impressive Ivy League replete with Blazer and only the finest was appropriate for our seasoned, bonafide, polished Candidate O’Perfect; so it was off to old Boston town to Harvard he did go. As Candidate O’Perfect was breezing through Harvard he found himself listed as the editor of the Harvard Law Review without any arduous efforts and even managed to continue in that position with an equally passive approach to equally passive demands for which he received much kudos as after all, was he not Candidate O’Perfect? Soon Candidate O’Perfect received his degree with a major of Constitutional Law, the perfect degree to compliment his Bachelor Degree in Political Science and his path appeared to be set if only he avoided the kind of slips or falls which might put a dent in his otherwise perfect and carefully crafted record which contained just the right credentials as the upholder and valiant fighter for the under-privileged, decorated as the editor for the premier Law Review in the land and the undergraduate work and rights record paired with a clean and lean appearance with perfect diction, warm personality, fitting message and adaptable accent for every occasion with just the right casualness while showing a side that was erudite but not cavalier or overbearing as that would detract from the image of pure adaptability which was evident in every appearance of Candidate O’Perfect and the record of invincibility only grew with each elected office chosen carefully such that it served well and fit with the mystique and mastery of every part of candidacy, or at least the election campaigning and the rest only served well as long as there was no inspection, but to do so would reveal your craven and racist desires to despoil the crafting Candidate O’Perfect, a record deserving of his story.

All was in place and the fully flushed out and shiny young looking, perfectly crafted and with just the right record without blemish except for his deficiency of a complete voting record and the large number of voting “present” on almost every contentious legislation where the people were divided and division belonged in a math course and should not touch the records of Candidate O’Perfect. The powers and crafter behind Candidate O’Perfect decided that allowing him to compile a longer record would give him time for his votes of “present” to probably catch up with him; so they struck while the irons were hot and he was thrust against the candidate claiming that first of being elected a woman whose entire career was spent in and about politics, the governor’s mansion in Arkansas and the White House and a stint in the Senate. Yet Candidate O’Perfect offered just as exciting a first if elected as his father was a native from Kenyan citizen and his mother a citizen of the United States, Caucasian and extreme leftist but Candidate O’Perfect had a sufficiently dark appearance and was married to a woman who left no doubt of his leanings and the camera is the final judge of all facts, thus he was a man of color; making his title of Candidate O’Perfect even more perfect.

Thus the first President of Color was born and all the detractions slowly fell silent as they appeared to be all the more the desperate efforts of the crazy wing of the political spectrum which are found at all the extremes of the edges of the political universe. The campaign between the old guard represented by Hilary Clinton against the young, vibrant, well spoken, personable and proves far more electable than the fated Ms. Clinton, the fated, dated, jaded, and quite hated sufficiently while the Candidate O’Perfect simply pooh-poohed as he breezed on towards the convention. Candidate O’Perfect was assaulted with questions about his relations with the Reverend White, but our Candidate O’Perfect simply tossed his head, glared at the original questioner and waved the whole problem aside and upon further questioning simply shoved the Reverend White under the bus and was never seen again, as should a media reporter ever pose such a request, the reporter gets the ‘glaring stare’ which could freeze the everglades in August and then all move on as one reporter nurses his wounds possibly proud of his wounds as they were given by the best; they were given by the Candidate O’Perfect. With the Reverend White firmly stowed under the bus, the Candidate O’Perfect continued waving away unhelpful question after question, occasionally throwing a tantrum before tossing another question after another. There were the questions about his childhood and whether he is an American by birth, how he became editor of the Harvard Law Review without writing any articles any search could produce; Candidate O’Perfect with his official record this and his perfect record that; and all them he handles with glib retorts and the media reveled in his perceived brilliance. It appeared that Candidate O’Perfect was their man through unto the end and through the nominating and vetting process he sliced as if chosen by a higher power.

As if a Hollywood story he swept through the campaign making a mockery of his opponent often seeming to write the media reviews of his campaign stops and debate performances. Nothing was out of bounds and nobody cared to stand between Candidate O’Perfect and his destiny, a destiny writ large across the skies, certainly this would be a match made in Heaven, Candidate O’Perfect drew closer and closer to election day and the only question on all the correct people’s minds was by how much he could win and would this be a complete shutout. Election Day came and went and the fairytale story would indeed have a happy ending and the land did rejoice the election of Candidate O’Perfect and the term of President O’Perfect was soon to begin. His victory speech had all the trappings at Grant Park in his home city of Chicago, Illinois, on November 4, 2008, before an estimated crowd of 240,000 and viewed on television and the Internet by millions of people around the globe. President O’Perfect was not quite yet in the Oval Office but who cared about such trivialities at such a historic time. President O’Perfect’s meteoric ride had climaxed at its perfect end, and how could it have ended any differently, Candidate O’Perfect to President O’Perfect, it had that magical ring and the whole world was lain out before him like a fated oyster just waiting for him to produce its perfect pearl; no-one could hardly wait for the coronation ceremony and the crowning of President O’Perfect which would welcome us to that world of promise he swirled the audience and they swooned with victory speech which came to a crescendo as he finished at such a high note with his closing words,

The journey will be difficult. The road will be long. I face this challenge with profound humility, and knowledge of my own limitations. But I also face it with limitless faith in the capacity of the American people. Because if we are willing to work for it, and fight for it, and believe in it, then I am absolutely certain that generations from now, we will be able to look back and tell our children that this was the moment when we began to provide care for the sick and good jobs to the jobless; this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal; this was the moment when we ended a war and secured our nation and restored our image as the last, best hope on Earth. This was the moment – this was the time – when we came together to remake this great nation so that it may always reflect our very best selves, and our highest ideals. Thank you, God Bless you, and may God Bless the United States of America.

Now we await the words which can only be able to lift us here for President O’Perfect knew the words to say and the way to say them; surely we would all be drunk on his promises by the time they place the crown upon his head and officially name him President O’Perfect, our time has come angel who will heal our stricken world. He gave us hope all the way back on Super Tuesday but we remember Candidate O’Perfect’s words for they still ring in our ears and hearts, those words, “You see, the challenges we face will not be solved with one meeting in one night. Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. We are the change that we seek. We are the hope.” And we replied at his every pause with “Yes We Can!”

Certainly his inaugural speech will be the best speech ever delivered. And as President O’Perfect reached his closing remarks we awaited another ending above all speeches ever given, and we waited and his words flowed melodically as he stated his ending words,

So let us mark this day with remembrance of who we are and how far we have traveled. In the year of America’s birth, in the coldest of months, a small band of patriots huddled by dying campfires on the shores of an icy river. The capital was abandoned. The enemy was advancing. The snow was stained with blood. At the moment when the outcome of our revolution was most in doubt, the father of our nation ordered these words to be read to the people:
“Let it be told to the future world…that in the depth of winter, when nothing but hope and virtue could survive… that the city and the country, alarmed at one common danger, came forth to meet [it].”
America: In the face of our common dangers, in this winter of our hardship, let us remember these timeless words. With hope and virtue, let us brave once more the icy currents, and endure what storms may come. Let it be said by our children’s children that when we were tested we refused to let this journey end, that we did not turn back nor did we falter; and with eyes fixed on the horizon and God’s grace upon us, we carried forth that great gift of freedom and delivered it safely to future generations.

That was his memorable finale? Quoting some long dead guy from the dead of winter, whatever does all that mean? Could we have been wrong and he really is no different than all those other politicians who lift us with great hope and then when the time comes to strike hard a blow at the institutions, the inequalities. What happened to the heal the Earth and the words which could move mountains of supporters? Could we have been deceived, could we have trusted a charlatan, a pretender, a man who really is not Yes We Can but more of a Yes I Will brought to us by craftiness and deceits? Where do we go if his delivery of a new age crafted around our hopes and dreams was a mirage all along? I fear we have been misled and taken to a dangerous place where our own dreams and aspirations were used to sneak a puppet whose masters we do not know into the most powerful office in the world? What can we do to undo this farce? But by the time for reelection came the words were more practical and the other choice was no choice, what could we do> We had to support him and hope that now when President O’Perfect no longer need worry about reelections he can be his own man, the man we knew at the beginning, the man who plucked our heartstrings with a melodic swansong would return and repair everything and be the man we knew he could be. But perhaps President O’Perfect was all hype, glitz and glamour, a show for public consumption meant to catch our greatest hopes and play on our greatest fears, worst guilts and strongest fears. What did we do listening to his sweet song again? The sirens’ song has pulled us off course again and we now fear we will be dashed against the rocks and shipwrecked on a dangerous island surrounded by an angry ocean with no boat and one spear amongst us, we are truly imperiled.

The costume on President O’Perfect is tattered and torn and his words have long ago lost all hope and we watch waiting nervously as we watch the show being prepared for our gullible little minds. It is an old song, a song which once before we ignored. What if we had listened back then and we had elected a different President O’Perfect, instead now it will be a woman who knows the ropes and imbroglios and thus will avoid making the same mistakes. Maybe this time she will be our Candidate H for Hillary Clinton the new President Operfectill-is-Perfect.She will simply toss aside the old Law Firm accusations and dismiss herself from Bill unless she requires his magic and Benghazi, you saw her at the witch trials, they could not touch her, what Benghazi? Candidate H for Hillary Clinton the new President Operfectill-is-Perfect will punt them and for good measure tell them the truth, her hands were tied and she was under orders and no she cannot and will not reveal from whom or when the order was given because, should she become, or do we say when she becomes our candidate, there will hardly be a day, an hour, or possibly some stations will run this quote instead of the news at the top and bottom of every hour such that by the time the November elections come around it will have lost its sting and her fateful words that were said that significant and quotable day when Hillary Clinton introduced us to her what-if-I-care side and answered shouting angrily,

“With all due respect, the fact is we had four dead Americans. Was it because of a protest or was it because of guys out for a walk one night decided to go kill some Americans? What difference, at this point, does it make?”

Perhaps all the words will have meaning and the American people will take their vote this time seriously and remember the United States has a position and obligation to the world at large and it is darn sure time that She, the undying American symbol of all that is decent,

Lady of Liberty which Adorns the Capital Dome in Washington D.C.

Lady of Liberty which Adorns the Capital Dome in Washington D.C.

rise up and carry that weight She assumed as the Lady of Liberty, Freedom, and People’s Rights the World Over and stands again astride the troubled waters and lands representing all that is decent and good about America signaling that America has returned to the world and will soon arrive to put things right which is why She stands atop the Capital Dome and those people need Her to stand again, proud and most definitively loud when answering our calls.
