Sick and Tired of the News Media Yet?

Listening to news, be it on television or radio, or reading the news, be it in major newspapers or on main Internet news, and you have entered an echo chamber equipped with time slipping capabilities. Should a police officer shoot a black suspect and the media is on that hard and heavy for the two weeks; the investigations takes six weeks, if there is a trial. When the officer is completely cleared by their department, a court case, the FBI and the Justice Department investigation, there is hardly a mouse squeak as it gets one or two reports often on the half hour and is forgotten. Let a white fraternity be accused of rape of a woman and the news media works to get them expelled, their fraternity banned nation wide, and the young men lives ruined as for them and any young man sharing a name with one of the “suspects” as their names will never ever be unlinked from a horrendous rape of a young woman purer than the driven snow. When no evidence can be found of sexual intercourse and despite five-thousand pictures on Facebook from the party not showing the young woman even attending, no matter, coincidence easily ignored, those men must pay for their crimes. When the police get involved and real investigators look into the facts and question all involved and other attendees and the young woman has her story examined and it starts changing to account for discrepancies and finally completely falls apart, the story slowly dies with almost no mention of the fact that the fraternity and the young men were falsely accused, just they were fortunate that more evidence was not discovered. These are remembrances from media lynching over the past five years or so from memory and we probably mixed and matched to make the point.

The media will not stop its safari to completely exculpate the left, women and minorities of all wrongdoing while performing a full condemnation of the right, men and whites (especially religious individuals or traditional institutions) of all perceived wrongdoings. Theirs is a slanted profession which has taken sides. This starts with their academia takeover of the social sciences, also called the soft sciences probably for their malleability to fit a prescribed line of thought. With this they control those who will become reporters by controlling journalism schools, who will become teachers through educations departments, who will run the social science agencies in the government thus forming the Deep State, and finally reaching the point of controlling who will receive law degrees by controlling the law schools. Of course, this will be denounced as nonsense and articles from the Washington Post quoting some research from the University of Chicago relating the complete lack of unfair practices in the social sciences at that University. Perhaps there will be a link to Google showing the number of articles which disclaim such theories and another showing all twelve results supporting them. Google has become the new authority on all facts; even Snopes likely will back that just for self-preservation. Proof might come from a Forbes Article about Snopes.com or the mention that Google is now employing Snopes and PolitiFact to verify their reporting, how long before these “fact-checkers become simply two more companies depending upon Google for their ultimate survival. It is claimed we could also receive the same fact-checking by meeting a stringent set of guidelines and likely pay a hefty fee, but we prefer to allow our readers to judge our worth and should they tell us of any errors, we will check and if wrong, admit, edit, and give them thanks in the comments and often the point of the correction if viable. We have had this happen twice if memory serves and when we have disagreed with alternate commentary, we post such comments and allow our readers to ferret out what they find to be the more accurate. Further, though we speak about news, we are more commentary than strictly news reporting. We do on occasion write articles which are instructions on subjects where we often give links where possible and on others many readers have included links often supportive of our descriptions and adding even more information for those desiring to dive in deeper. We are not the number one go-to place for search information, though we would not mind that, but really do not have the employees required for such a large and serious venture. We stick to articles and allow others to write lines of code, tried that once and found it too time consuming, protocol restrictive and too darn persnickety about exactness of order and spelling and without any easy to implement spellcheck.

We believe it is the lack of independent thinking in the news media, both sides, and that is one reason Beyond the Cusp has had a constantly growing readership and this has been in part because the news sources, especially on the Middle East about which we comment often, have become untrustworthy and their reporting is predicated on a specific imposed lack of free thought. The media, both ends, have often taken the side given them, hand-fed one might say, by government agencies and Internet mega-companies. Freedom of reporting has slowly died in the United States and been absent from Europe for quite a number of decades if not longer. The remainder of the world has almost never had a free media as the government and their news are one and the same which tends to mean that you are granted propaganda instead of facts. We tell you when we are giving you conjecture usually with the prefacing phrase like “We believe” or “We think” or “In our opinion” and then tell you our opinion. We, in our opinion, are kind of funny that way. When was the last time you felt an article you were reading in a newspaper should have been prefaced with such a phrase at least once if not often? Probably not all that long ago, and you were probably not reading an opinion blog or the editorial section but still on page A-1. The Charleston story was very much an example of such reporting where one could figure out which side the reporter supported by their description of the two sides. What was not seen was an honest description of the two side’s main adversaries which should have read as International Socialists as Communists vs National Socialists as Nazis (depicted from two sides in Charlotte images below). The references to World War II were inaccurate though they had chosen the correct war, the wrong front. The British, American, Canadian, Free French, Australian and other British Commonwealth soldiers were not represented at Charlotte except by some, if not many, of the police who were relegated to taking orders from their leading political entities be they the Charlotte Democrat Mayor Michael Signer or Virginia Democrat Governor Terry McAuliffe, as they did little to keep the two sides separated. The western front was not the correct front; it was closer to the eastern front with the Soviet Union against the Nazis and the two red flags representing the two sides. Two ideologies born in Germany at about the same time but one went east after being chased from Germany by the National Socialist German Workers’ Party, and there is nothing that a national socialist hates more than an international socialist, better known as Communists. These two ideologies worked well together when it came to dividing up Poland but their differences meant a showdown was inevitable ever since they clashed in the streets of Germany as each attempted to take control of the leftist voters, the socialist supporters against the capitalist Weimer Republic, a democracy. Socialists are also often statists who believe that the State rules absolutely, just one believes in the nation state while the other desires and internationalist state encompassing the entire globe. Well, they both desired that in the end, one wanted a world Soviet Empire the other wanted to rename the globe Germany and have its Thousand-Year Reich. In Charlotte, these old adversaries met again on the field of battle to decide which version of imperialist fascist socialist enterprise stands supreme. Both of these philosophies have no place as a majority opinion in American politics and the fact that the media is lavishing praise on either is a disgrace.

International Socialists as Communists vs National Socialists as Nazis

International Socialists as Communists vs National Socialists as Nazis

Just in case there is any doubt, we abhor both sides of the media as supporting either side in the disgrace which took place in Charlotte is an insult to Thomas Jefferson and the principles he outlined in the Declaration of Independence and to James Madison and the outlines he included in the Constitution and to all involved in the drafting of the Bill of Rights. Unfortunately, both the Republican and Democrat parties have drifted far from the principles of limited government and individual liberty and freedoms espoused by the Founding Fathers. The media has mostly also gone to the partisan hacking at one another forgetting the rights they are supposed to be defending and guarding with jealous pride. The media was not envisioned as a party supporting political contrivance used to expound along party line ideals and platforms. This is what has become of what was presumed to be the guardians of the people and the watchdogs over the politicians who were presumed to turn slimy as time progressed. The media was not supposed to climb into the political mud-pits with them. With the media forgetting and betraying their sacred trust, it is little wonder that the people have lost hope that they have any allies in their fight to take back their once great nations and to save their hopes for their children who they are watching, as they are indoctrinated rather than educated. What a short trip it is once the guardians become the deceivers. I think I would trust a talking tree, a raccoon, a green whore, a red tattooed vengeance torn hulk led by a petty criminal to be the guardians of my galaxy over the media of the so-called free world.

The mainstream media, especially the European Media, are all the news all the time covering the Greek economic meltdown. Some of the more honest media has also included the crises that could be soon to topple as if dominoes all in a row of which Greece is but the first domino to be tripped to fall and they have shown how Spain and Portugal would be precariously hanging and soon toppled partly as a result of Greece’s defaulting though it might be likely they would have fallen eventually all on their own. These would trigger a crisis in Ireland and Italy as to which would be the fourth victim and which would follow as the fifth victim signaling the end of the most endangered Eurozone nations too close to default to be comforting. The real horrific effect of these five weaker economies finally tripping the default cable and snagging the economic webbing, which has held the European Union and the Euro together since 1999, doing irreparable damage to the delicate webbing, more fragile than the most slightly laced spider’s web, tearing enormous holes in its intricate weaves slashing at the most vital threads and upsetting the ever so precarious balance that underlies its supporting structures threatening to unbalance and collapse even the previously though stable economies of France, Poland and many of the other east European economies possibly pushing them right to the cliff-face and potentially tipping them beyond the cusp and into default thus lacerating the last remnants of the Eurozone and possibly taking with them Germany and the ECB (European Central Bank) causing unimaginable damage to the financial structure of Europe and beyond, the ripple effect causing a second deep recession well more serious and taking longer to tank-out and hit bottom and then begin a long sluggish scent clawing for every single Red Cent and Dollar and Euro after having taken its toll on Asia and beyond. But the Euro, Greece, and the rest of the European Union and the Eurozone is but one whirlpool looking to sink every last economic boat.

The Euro is what we have been led to believe is the only threat. Where previously economic ships only had to worry about rising and falling tides, now they are adrift and facing not just one whirlpool representing the Euro dying, but now there is a second even more massive whirlpool coming from deep within Asia. China has hit the road’s end and is attempting to push its enormous mountain of debt using a garden trowel while piling on fresh debt using Caterpillar 990K series front end loader shoveling an additional $19.3 billion in an effort to end their three week slide totaling $3.2 trillion downturn in the past three weeks alone. These losses were the result of a Chinese Stock Market where as many as two-thirds of the stocks were frozen in a further attempt to stem the torrents of dollars flowing from their stock market and their economy like the icy waters which flooded the lower decks of the Titanic as she slowly but inexorably fell beneath the waves, something somewhat prophetic for the Chinese markets and economy. There is actually a comparison between the situation in Greece and the downturn in China as one must remember that Greece is as socialist as a nation can be without being either fascist or Communist and Greece has retained their spirit of a democratic Parliamentary system despite it all but China has taken socialism that one final step to communism, the addition of mostly state owned corporations and central planning of the economic engines and manufacturing. Chinese leaders had been attempting to liberalize their economic sectors, though not all of them, selling a number of previously State run businesses and even permitted competition between companies in the same market hoping this would charge their economy further and it had been working but even free-market economic liberalization was unable to stave off this meltdown. The problem obviously is what will this mean for the liberalization of the Chinese economy as the leadership are still Communists who serve the Party and depend on the Party, may decide that much of their financial woes are the result of these new policies and curtail or even reverse some or all of the liberalized companies, markets and take a giant leap backwards to increased government control over every iota of the economy and the manufacturing and sales etc.

United States Treasury Secretary Jack Lew commented Wednesday on the current crisis in China stating at the Brookings Institution, that the economies of the United States and China are “still pretty much separated.” In further testimony Secretary Lew queried, “I think the concern … it is a real one … is what does it mean about long term growth in China?” Further in his speech he pointed to the main potential impacts which could emerge as a result to the Chinese Stock Market bleeding financially leaving the leadership seeing ‘Red’ in more ways than one. The leading question is to figure out as soon as possible what the reaction of the leaders of the Communist Party is and whether they may decide that the problem dictates such as appointing new leadership, freezing prices, injecting even more dollars into the markets through the banks and state owned businesses or closing the banks and Stock Market for a week or two cool down and reset to normalcy again; the choices and potential marrying of any two or three makes predictions near to impossible. The one thing which can be computed and predicted as long as the numbers being released and any steps taken are done so in plain view then the impact of the Stock Market freefall on the Chinese economy’s core condition and whether it appears that it will have much elasticity and dynamics when the end is finally reached and the rollercoaster slides on in to the station signaling the end of the ride, and what a ride it was with vigorous growth only to drop who knows how large a percentage of that growth in this correction, and what a correction. Secretary Lew’s closing thoughts are worthy of being repeated as he emphasized, “The question isn’t their commitment to the goal; the question is the pace at which they implemented it, and do they do it fast enough for it to be effective. I hope this is not something that slows down the pace of reform. If the reaction is to put the brakes on reforms, that will slow that process.”

With China making a long overdue correction which will be far more severe than it should or could have been if the leadership was not so intent on what numbers they released to the world and on making their predicted economic increase and meet all targets set within the government as to fail was unthinkable and would have been a terrible loss of face thus undermining faith in the economy. This has caused the Chinese to follow the example first used by President George W. Bush and turbocharged by President Barack Hussein Obama which was in the old school simply called a ‘stimulus package’ but is now known by a more enigmatic phrase of ‘Quantitative Easing,’ either of which hides the actual result and method being implemented as who would stand for the government announcing they were devaluing the money supply and taxing every single American by a minimum percentage directly proportional to the percentage increase the total added funding was doled out in stacks of hundred dollar bills, literally thousands of such stacks in the United States and unknown amounts though what is known is the Chinese leadership pumped close to twice the percentage of GDP as did the United States. Just as the United States took their hit starting back in late 2008 and continuing through 2011 and briefly relieved with another round of ‘Quantitative Easing,’ this was like the third pitcher of beer at a table trying to drink their way sober. The economic burst from that mid and late 2011 ‘Quantitative Easing’ gave the economy a burst of hope which appeared to continue due to lowered interest rates and the paring down and mostly neutering of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform Act gave the economy the needed push for President Obama’s reelection as he could run his campaign claiming to have turned the economy around and that great times lie ahead. Well, as far as that goes I’ll point to Greece and China and point out that the United States has followed similar patterns of fueling the economy and especially the Stock Market with borrowed monies and when loans were unavailable the Federal Reserve would electronically buy Treasury Bonds with funds they imagined into existence as a few strokes on a Federal Reserve keyboard and one produces and completed sale with funny money in that the receipt for the Treasury Bonds was used to balance the books as it represented the electronically derived cash used. This is a very convenient way to purchase items this way when you are the government or a very clever fraudster as just try using the sales slip from one register, say men’s clothing from a department store as cash at the Jewelry Counter and see how far that takes you. The catch, and there is always a catch, to ‘Quantitative Easing’ is that eventually you either have to pay back the money that was invented which can only be done some combination of these three methods, first is retire actual money from circulation which can also be done electronically by retiring any electronic payment made on credit cards, second is to remove the funds through higher taxes taking the money directly from the supply, and lastly one could raise the interest rates and siphon off a percentage of each loan to pay the Piper so to speak. The problem is that each of these methods actually hurt the consumer the most; it is the public that pays the price for the economic and financial misdeeds and ill-advised policies.

There are but a few redeeming features out of all of this and one serious and potentially unavoidable problem, and it is a big one. So, we will leave the bad news for last and the good news which will cause doom’s day to come and come quickly first. The best of news is that the meltdown in China is most likely to be relatively unfelt even amongst their Asian markets as China does not purchase many goods from outside and the few major needs she has will continue even if slightly abated, things essential like coal and petroleum. Further, the only nation carrying a trade deficit of any note is the United States and even should quotas be placed on any goods currently purchased from China will very likely have ten other sources with some popping up due to China cutting production. The European crisis is more likely to hit the United States harder than anything else on the economic horizon. Should the Eurozone break apart due to the collapse of several of their nations having financial difficulties and teetering at the edge of financial Armageddon plus one, Greece, which has in all honesty gone beyond the cusp and is currently running with his feet well away from solid ground just hanging there for that brief Wiley Coyote moment before collapsing into the darkness below only to make a small puff of dust rising depicting his hitting bottom. Even should the entire Eurozone collapse it may actually serve to keep a lid on inflation and allow for low interests rates, a necessity for the United States. That brings us back to the one thing that at first everyone would be glad to see, a real recovery with rising workforce participation which in the United States is down to approximately 63%, one of the lowest figures since the mid-1970s. This would also bring jobs, especially higher end job market opening up once again which would allow for a ripple effect. As the overqualified people working at menial or minimum wage jobs would leave those as jobs in their field became available and they gain employment thus making room for these other positions to employ more of the nations’ work force and soon inflation will return, something there has been no worry about as even the few months where such measurements showed a possibility for inflation to develop only for indicators to slide back the next couple of months with it often seeming like one big step forward and all promise breaking out only to be followed by three or four months of small to moderate steps backwards and everything gained to be lost and often more. When inflation does finally return for real then there will be a really bad situation. Once inflation starts to threaten then the interest rates will rise as a counter to inflation. Rising inflation takes a bigger bite out of people’s pockets all but actual theft. Inflation also helps with making the national debt somewhat more manageable by deflating the value of the currency taking the currency to new lows and the lessening to of the value of the debt and the purchasing power of that coinage. This was where Greece and the other nations in the Eurozone faced; they no longer had control over their coinage, their monetary worth so they were unable to simply lessen the value in order to get a handle on their debts and also make their nation more attractive to investors and new businesses. Perhaps leaving the Eurozone for a set period of possibly not less than two years and no longer than a decade or quarter century at which point they can reapply at the short end or must face a permanent decision at the longer end. Granted, this will possibly make some nations more reckless but the consequence is the only alternative to having the Eurozone nations turn their entire control of monetary and fiscal planning over to Brussels, they already control the monetary which is part of the problem, and most nations will refuse to be relieved of the power of the purse even if they are no longer able to control the coinage of said purse. Perhaps even a rotating schedule where every nation has to spend a decade using their own coinage would be another compromise. Until the Eurozone finds the answer they will be facing little impossible challenges as is Greece right now and others down the line. Let’s just hope their mistakes don’t become global economic-mines blowing the world markets haywire.

The Root of the Real Problem With Iran Deal is Trust

The familiar line we are getting about the impending Iran nuclear agreement is that we cannot trust Iran. I do not believe that is the most worrisome problem as much as our inability to trust the United States President and Secretary of State to be honest or even for their claims and comments on what is and is not permitted and their ramifications to even contain a scintilla of truth, and that is a major trust problem. Since I have initially claimed that trusting Iran is not the main problem, perhaps we should first discuss what I mean by trusting Iran and then we can go to the root problem of President Obama, Secretary of State Kerry and the entire support staff and how far we can even trust the major advisors to the President.

President Obama, as almost everyone with eyes and ears has figured out, has a serious deficit in the foreign policy department which makes his domestic policies appear to be some of the greatest achievements in all of history. To claim the President Obama’s handling of America’s foreign dealings have been a blighted catastrophe may be giving them too much credit for actual achievement. The first improvement might be for him to stop whatever he is doing and then to pursue the exact opposite track. This would mean walking out of the Iran negotiations and reapplying the stiffest sanctions and working to enjoin as many other nations and international alliances to join in this pressure forcing the Iranian regime to realize they can either enter talks with an honest intent to reach some form of agreement with an in depth set of inspection routines which also includes snap inspection at the IAEA’s preference and not the paltry attempt at appearing to allow such inspections when they are restrained to only make snap request for permission under the current stipulations being discussed. President Obama has produced a strawman which he has burned in effigy at least a thousand times and has also added an additional inferred quality to his strawman which gives it the stench of one of the most horrid and ancient hatreds of planet Earth. Going back and listening to President Obama’s own words and he interchanges the strawman of the only other choice is war with claims that Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu is demanding the United States risk going to war with Iran. The President has labeled any opposition to his plan as surrendering to that warmonger from Israel, Netanyahu thus invoking the specter of anti-Semitism. The problem is that we cannot expect or trust that President Obama has anything other than the surrender of the entirety of United States control or even influence in the future of the Middle East including providing any protection for Israel, or perhaps centered on neutering Israeli power by granting Iran hegemonic power in the Middle East potentially greater than Israel possesses. President Obama has already made the suggestion that if only Israel would be rid of its nuclear arsenal then perhaps there might be a possibility that Iran would immediately end their dedicated nuclear weapons programs and unless Israel were to dismantle their nuclear arsenal and potentially render their Dimona reactor inert and permanently unusable then Israel should expect to accept all blame for any deficiencies which may prove to be resulting from any Iran deal President Obama and company are capable of producing. The entirety of any shortcoming will be blamed on Israel in general and Prime Minister Netanyahu in particular by President Obama and the leftist media will add the responsibility and blame for Iran becoming a nuclear power by placing the onus on Israel. That has been the message and it will only be made to be heard louder and clear as a bell when the perfidy of President Obama is committing in order to make a deal. President Obama is arranging for any positives that are reaped from his Iran deal, which will likely be defined mathematically as the null or empty set, while all blame for the deficiencies being caused by Israeli intransigence preventing a broader deal which would have made the entire Middle East nuclear free and immediately breaking out in song and flowers sprouting across the lands. That is the crux of the treachery being committed by President Obama and his setup escape clause is, ‘blame Israel’ not he.

Now let’s proceed on to Iran and why Iran can be trusted. Simply put, the Iranian leadership and especially Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei have been brutally honest, which is more than what can be stated about President Obama, Secretary of State Kerry or the dire leftist media in their reporting, or more accurately, their lack of reporting on the situation. The Iranian leadership has been very up front in denying that they will permit any inspections ever on their military facilities, period! They have insisted that there be only scheduled inspections of which they are to be given ample notice and that they hold the final say on where and what the inspectors can visit and see, control over any samples taken, and generally be permitted to skirt around any potential troubles their nuclear program inspection might pose. They have flat out stated they will be utilizing their most recent and improved centrifuges which have the capability of producing weapons grade as much as 95% enriched uranium of 3.5%, that is three and one half percent, in a single cascade thus removing the troublesome storage of 20% enriched uranium as would have been required by their previous centrifuges. Further, they have assured all that should they design and produce even more efficient centrifuges in the future which would allow for a cascade needing fewer centrifuges and thus less likely to fail, then they will be exchanging the older centrifuges with the latest and greatest centrifuges no matter what President Obama is claiming. Probably the greatest of the Iranian claims is that there will be no restrictions on their missile program which since the beginning of the nuclear negotiations came under the tutelage of President Obama and his band of merry-making advisors who may only speak of the greatness of the emperor and his new policies back in 2009 has advanced from barely being capable of reaching Greece or Egypt or placing a satellite in near Earth orbit for a few revolutions to now being capable of striking France and Algeria and placing communications or spy satellites into orbit (which potentially means they could possibly strike anywhere on the globe with a fair amount of difficulty but still within their technical abilities).

Then there were the comments glossed over and quickly forgotten by the Western leftist media as Iranian ‘elected’ President Hassan Rouhani had claimed, in what is dismissed as ancient history and being long before he rose to the Presidency as a new and now suddenly moderate, what he had stated in what may as well have been a former life way back in 2001, “If one day … the Islamic world will be equipped with weapons available to Israel now … the employment of even one atomic bomb inside Israel will wipe it off the face of the earth but would only do damage to the Islamic world.” Recounting his term as the Lead Negotiator for Iran at the nuclear talks back in 2003, when the talks included only France, Britain, and Germany, he boasted that using a smile and a few jokes he completely disarmed the European negotiators convincing them he was a moderate reformer determined to reach an amicable agreement and then proceeded to drag out the talks. When he was assigned to lead the negotiations for Iran he boasted, “The day we invited the three European ministers, only 10 centrifuges were spinning at Natanz. We could not produce one gram of U4 or U6 [uranium hexafluoride]. We did not have the heavy water, we could not produce yellowcake, our total production of centrifuges inside the country was 150. We wanted to complete all of these, we needed time.” Referring to his use of deception President Rouhani related, “While Iran has a right within the nuclear non-proliferation regime to develop nuclear energy for peaceful purposes it has decided voluntarily to suspend all uranium enrichment and processing activities as defined by the IAEA. The statement of Tehran in that declaration, there was a resolution that all [uranium enrichment and processing] must stop but we did not allow it.” Wearing an example of that gleaming and disarming famous smile, Rouhani boasts about Iran completing the construction of the Bushehr nuclear reactor as well as the Arak heavy water and plutonium producing reactor complex while Iran was increasing the number of centrifuges from 150 to 1,700 at Natanz facility. Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu summed up the Rouhani approach and stylized deception he has packaged especially for what Rouhani perceives as Western fools easily led to there they wish to be led while delivering exactly what the Iranians desire stated, Iranian President Rouhani, “he’s criticizing his predecessor for being a wolf in wolf’s clothing. His strategy is to be a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Smile and build a bomb.” All it takes is a smile and a few jokes, wonderful.

There are other items we can be assured Iran honestly intends to follow through on and that they have announced repeatedly but the leftist media only sees the Cheshire Cat and the face away while the smile lingers. Some of the more pertinent claims include but are not limited to the following. Iran will be permitted to operate under these agreements nineteen thousand centrifuges. The Iranian military bases will be off-limits to inspectors who are merely spies for the Western powers. Iran refuses to answer the questions about previous activities which may have been operated by its military. We will keep all military activities secret and beyond the sight of the inspectors. Why is it that Israel is permitted to have hundreds of nuclear weapons but Iran is not allowed any such devices; that is an inequality which must not be permitted to stand. Iranian internal affairs are not to be interfered with by the Western Powers. And then there always is that favorite around which they have built a number of confabs which were more celebratory than they were policy in their appearance and the reporting by the mainstream media but if viewed and the speeches words were heeded, these were some of the most threatening and frightening celebratory events which targeted the conquest of the west but especially insisted that at their first possible convenience once they had the ability that Iran had a special treatment for the United States and Israel as stated in the banners and the name of these conventions, “A World Without Zionism or America.”

That should be sufficient to send a chill down the spine of every western democracy, republic or free society by any governance because Iran is out to conquer and destroy every last one of us. They have already started to spread their range of control which currently is taking a drubbing in Syria, but be assured that when all is over and the dust settles back on the rubble that Iran will have retained Damascus and the roads into Lebanon as that is their minimum requirement. The only way this can be avoided may be even more ominous as it would take making Isaiah 17:1, “The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.” a reality, something that may already be about to become fact as the only question is what will happen should Damascus fall to ISIS or al-Nusra. Would Iran turn Damascus into nothing more than rubble neighboring a fully functional international airport reserved for the private and military use by Iran? Of course they would as Iran is willing to put the entire world to the torch as by so doing they bring their salvation back from the well to deliver them the world for out of the chaos the Mahdi would return. The leadership of Iran is completely infested with what are known as ‘Twelvers’ who believe that only by spreading war and its misery and chaos far and wide encompassing the world will their perfect end times world be founded. They so not fear war, they worship it and that taints their every decision. This added to everything else we have seen from Iran would lead any sane person to believe that they will say anything while doing exactly what they believe is necessary to serve their ends. Many have yet to figure out their end desires despite it being unbelievably simple, it is the same destiny as proclaimed by ISIS and included in the Hamas Charter, conquest and purification, read all convert to their version of Islam or die, of society and rid it of all who refuse their superiority in all things starting with their religious beliefs. The sole difference is that ISIS and Hamas are Sunni and Iran Shiite making our final choice limited to who wins, if it is Iran we will all be Shiites or dead, if it is ISIS we will all be Sunnis (their definition which is very likely far more radical than mainline Sunnis) or dead, if it is Hamas we will all be Sunnis (their definition which is very much more radical than mainline Sunnis) or dead. There is an overriding theme to their vision of the future but there is another choice beyond the surrendering to Allah and his designated but self-proclaimed supreme leaders and authoritarian, imperial tormentors and the judgmental inquisitor of all that is acceptable and holy; we can nip this in the bud while it has not fully metastasized and their cancerous imperative spread and gained sufficient power to complete their fantasized dreams making their heaven on earth which for many, myself prominently in the category, will be someplace quite a bit less inviting and certainly quite permanent.

Humor me a little aside which will lead to one of my favorite Winston Churchill quotes. One has to realize the greatness that was Winston Churchill which could not be completely appreciated until recent events though some of us took his warnings to heart as we saw the coming threat far back. Winston Churchill warned the West about the rise of Nazi horrors and the true nature of Adolph Hitler’s ambitions. For some time the West, meaning mostly Europe, the United States and the other western powers have had the realization, or perhaps more of a belief, that the world could not be conquered by one nation without the total destruction of the world. They theorized that anybody even fathoming as a possible theory the conquest of the world would inevitably see the radical increase in damage and destructive consequences of war, especially the use of nuclear weapons which brought forth the Japanese surrender, this interpolating would see the folly of attempting to conquer the world as doing so would bring about its destruction and one would be inheriting a smoldering and mostly uninhabited world taken back to the Stone Age. Unfortunately, the whole of humanity has not figured this out or they have conceived of a plan by which the world will not be entirely laid waste and the conquest and subjugation of the world and its population is still possible. Winston Churchill warned the world about Stalin and Communism coining the terminology of ‘Iron Curtain’ in his speech given at Westminster College of Fulton, Missouri, where he stated,

“From Stettin in the Baltic to Trieste in the Adriatic, an iron curtain has descended across the continent. Behind that line lie all the capitals of the ancient states of Central and Eastern Europe. Warsaw, Berlin, Prague, Vienna, Budapest, Belgrade, Bucharest and Sofia, all these famous cities and the populations around them lie in what I must call the Soviet sphere, and all are subject in one form or another, not only to Soviet influence but to a very high and, in some cases, increasing measure of control from Moscow. Athens alone – Greece with its immortal glories – is free to decide its future at an election under British, American and French observation.”

Finally, Winston Churchill defined the threat and nature of Islam in his original writing of “The River War” when it was first published as a two-volume set edition in 1899, but this selection was removed when the book was condensed into one volume and republished edition in 1902 though no reason could be found for the reasoning other than to shorten the book a number of quotes, especially the longer quotes, as this is, were removed. The quote here defines Winston Churchill’s cognitive and conclusive notes of the pervasive religious shortcoming of resisting the advances of science but mostly he relates his observations of both individual Muslims and the overriding societal whole under Islam. Let’s let the quote speak for itself.

“How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. The effects are apparent in many countries, improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live.
A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement, the next of its dignity and sanctity. The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property, either as a child, a wife, or a concubine, must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men.
Individual Muslims may show splendid qualities, but the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde force exists in the world. Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step; and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science, the science against which it had vainly struggled, the civilization of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilization of ancient Rome.”

Lastly I would like to close with one final quote which addresses in its time the threat which was being ignored in Europe and the possibility of the threat becoming so overwhelming as to make victory impossible. We may be witnessing the exact same scenario concerning current threats largely because our political leaders are too intimidated to speak the truth. They have been cowed by Political Correctness which has blinkered their eyes and closed their mouths. We can either hope and pray that our leaders collectively awaken from their stupor and rub the war weariness from their eyes and see the danger lurking just around the corner should certain events take a turn for the worse and we wait too long hoping that what we fear is not what we wish to avoid so what we see we visualize as a lesser threat which can be resolved without risk. If our violence averted society rejects even the just war then we will face extermination or at the very least the inversion and destruction of the freedoms we enjoy but refuse to defend. Winston Churchill described this scenario far better than I ever will as his mastery of the language was exquisite while mine is somewhat more of a blunt instrument beating people over the head repeatedly if that is what it takes. Churchill wrote

“If you will not fight for the right when you can easily win without bloodshed; if you will not fight when your victory will be sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a small chance of survival. There may even be a worse case: you may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves.”
