The Hidden Trap in UNSC 2334, Israel and Palestine

The entirety of United Nations Security Council Resolution 2334 can be found at the end of the article for those willing to suffer through its tedious and tendentious prose and are welcome to peruse the entirety of the document. The one saving grace is it is not that long a read. The first item is that the preface, the longest section of the article, completely undermines the rest of the resolution. Had this in any way been reflective of its claims for reaffirming Res. 242, Res. 338, Res. 446, Res. 452, Res. 465, Res. 476, Res. 478, Res. 1397 and Res. 1515; then it would have called for negotiations to establish borders which would provide Israel with defendable and defined borders. If, when mentioning the settlements, it would have only pressed for limited or no additional settlements and limitation on expansion of existing settlements only to accommodate population increases, there would not have been the attempt to criminalize the settlements nor would it press for their dismantlement as was the seeming intent. Further, there would have been no mention of using the 1949 Armistice Lines, the Green Line, as the basis for any future borders. Finally, the resolution flies in the face, as did all the previous other than Res. 242, of the United Nations Charter as according to Article 80 of said Charter, the United Nations was considered the enforcing power for the Mandate System inherited from the League of Nations along with all other agreements and resolutions produced under the League of Nations which would define Israel’s borders to the east as being the Jordan River, period and end of discussion unless Israel decides to grant any claims of the validity they seek. Let us stress, that is validity they seek, not claim. The truth of the matter and the only decision under International Law any court can reach is that Israel owns all of Judea and Samaria and the Palestinian Authority and any other entity have no valid claim to one inch of the lands west of the Jordan River. This is more than our opinion as it was also the decision of the Court of Appeal of Versailles, France. Then there is the advisory opinion from the Honorable Justice El Araby, an Egyptian who sat as an adjudicator on the International Court of Justice when they were requested to make a ruling on the Israeli security barrier and whether it could be legally placed as designed. He warned the UNGA and others that filing further ran some risks, as he stated,

“The international legal status of the Palestinian Territory (paras. 70-71 of the Advisory Opinion), in my view, merits more comprehensive treatment. A historical survey is relevant to the question posed by the General Assembly, for it serves as the background to understanding the legal status of the Palestinian Territory on the one hand and underlines the special and continuing responsibility of the General Assembly on the other. This may appear as academic, without relevance to the present events. The present is however determined by the accumulation of past events and no reasonable and fair concern for the future can possibly disregard a firm grasp of past events. In particular, when on more than one occasion, the rule of law was consistently side-stepped. The point of departure, or one can say in legal jargon, the critical date, is the League of Nations Mandate which was entrusted to Great Britain.”

The entire reason for the presage of UNSC 2334 by President Obama and his administration was in order to set up this current Paris conference where his plan is to press for them to advise for the recognition of a state for the Arabs. This would need to be pushed and be ratified and presented officially before noon EST of January 20, 2017 and then taken for a near immediate vote by the UNSC on a resolution recognizing such state, setting its borders as probably the Green Line, President Obama’s wildest dream, and making it a Chapter Seven Resolution which is enforceable by military force. Such a resolution would make any attack upon Israel for the stated purpose of forcing them from the lands that the United Nations gave to the Arabs for their state as legal and fully backed by the nations of the world. Such a resolution would also place any nation aiding Israel is such a war as vulnerable to being brought before the International Courts and sued to cease and desist or face sanction and possibly military force to end their support. Basically, such a resolution would tie the hands of every nation to turn their hand against Israel bringing the Biblical prophecy of the world turning its hand being against Israel and every nation becoming the enemy of the Jewish State. We hope we do not have to remind anyone of what follows as there are four horsemen in the New Testament and the Messiah in the Old Testament and the following is not pretty at all. But that is the direction that the European Union, President Obama, Secretary of State Kerry, other select people from the Administration and many of the Arab World all would like to see become reality. President Obama is in such a rush because first he wants to get even with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu for opposing the Iran treaty and not respecting President Obama and bowing to his desires at every turn and because he realizes that since Hillary Clinton did not win the election as expected, that President Trump is not going to continue the war against Israel and might change things away from the current direction making this the last time in the foreseeable future that forcing this solution and the making of a new Arab state possible. President Obama is aware that such an opportunity to force this issue is now or never and he cannot rest without giving it everything he is able.

The reality is that the political winds are changing and are going to blow for a while in a completely different direction and it is very probable that the world’s attentions will be swinging away from the Middle East and become more centered on economies and containment of the troubles plaguing the Middle East to only the Middle East which will also bring the refugee immigration, or should we say invasion, to a quick and unmerciful end. The war in Syria is likely to be brought to a close with whatever agreement is necessary being imposed and likely the nation made into three states; one Alawite under Bashir al-Assad; one Kurdish which may even include some of the lands from northern Iraq included and the state of Kurdistan, which had been a promise that the British made during World War I but found oil more important than their promises, finally brought into fruition; and the final a Sunni state which could very easily be divided between Turkey and central Iraq leaving southern Iraq as either the remnant of Shiite Iraq or merged into Iran. These divisions would respect tribal and ethnic division with the Sunni with the Sunni, the Shia with Shia and the Kurds finally realizing their independence. Such a strategy would also provide the Middle East with much needed ethnic borders and potentially greater security and peace, imagine that.

That leaves Libya which could be divided into so many smaller states except that would create the problem of constant wars between the tribes or a larger problem of a neighboring state of terrorist forces taking hold of this dysfunctional area. This is already a problem but even the terrorists found attempting to establish a safe area in Libya to be next to impossible. Sometimes conflict is unavoidable and Libya has been a cauldron of trouble ever since the Romans and Carthage fought their wars there and during the Caliphate and Ottoman eras with the Barbary Pirates and even up to the time Thomas Jefferson sent the United States Marines into Tripoli taking the harbor and forcing an end to the pirating of American vessels, well, until the next time they thought America had been weakened and had to be taught again that they were mistaken. These were the Barbary Wars, 1801–1805 and 1815–1816, bracketed the War of 1812 where the British attempted to retake their former colony and failed. The Barbary Pirates figured such a war had weakened the United States and needed to be shown otherwise. The Italians were given Libya after World War I and the breakup of the Ottoman Empire until 1947, approximately the time many of the European nations resigned from their colonial holdings. For more on Libya and its problems through the ages, one can go here, and hopefully that will be sufficient coverage of Libya.

Israel, in the meantime, will eventually be granted all that which was and is still promised her. This means that the eastern border will end up being the Jordan River. The only decision the world need make is how much drama, needless suffering, necessary time to undo the damage caused by the broken promises, and the number of lives, both Arab and Israeli, will be wasted getting to the rightful and just fulfillment of promises. For those who are going to challenge about the British promise to the Arabs that they would be granted a state within the British Mandate, that was satisfied when seventy-eight percent of the British Mandate was used to make the Arab state of Jordan. The remainder, as stated in the Churchill White Papers, was to be granted the Jews for their homeland. Those claiming the division suggested under UNGA Res. 181, that division was merely a General Assembly Resolution which are suggestive in their enforcement and as soon as either side refuses such a resolution it becomes null and void and cannot be resurrected no matter how badly one desires to steal as much land and make Israel so vulnerable as to make her defense impossible just to see Jews murdered and Israel destroyed again. The Arab League refused that solution and invaded Israel on May 15, 1948; the very day Israel came into being with the Jordan River as her legal boundary.

The problem the world is having over Israel can be simplified to one thing; many, possibly most, of the world do not believe nor desire that the Jews be permitted their homeland. The Western World and much of the remainder of the planet are fully aware of the ancient history of the Jewish People in Israel and their Capital city, eternal Capital city, of Jerusalem. These anti-Semitic views desire the Jew to be the tiny minority which is defenseless and can be beaten, stolen from, demeaned and otherwise simply used as a punching bag by any and every nation at their whim. They want Jews not permitted to own land or have any property of their own beyond a suitcase and whatever they can carry at a moment’s notice. They desire the Jew they abused for the past twenty-five-hundred years with the brief exceptions when they revolted and threw off the yokes of Greek Rule and then Roman Rule. They want the Jew to continue to suffer the intended punishment forced upon them by the Romans with their dispersal which was intended to end the existence of the Jewish People. The Jewish fate was to be the same as every other people the Roman treated thusly such as the Carthaginians and various other tribes whose names have been lost to antiquity and are known only to those who study ancient histories and even they likely miss a good number of peoples who have been defeated by the conquering empires from Egypt, Hittite, Minoan, Persian, Babylonian and on through the ages. The Chinese, Mongols, Japanese and Indian in Asia and the Aztec, Inca and others who ruled before the European colonization in the Americas where people who were erased from history as after conquest they assimilated and disappeared. Even the Jews had their lost tribes when the northern ten tribes were carried off by the Assyrians and were never seen again though there are beliefs that these tribes are now returning to Israel from their varied places around the globe.

Some who desire the destruction of Israel believe that it is necessary otherwise their religion is devalued. This was the historic position of numerous Christian religious groups and was even named replacement theology. This form of preaching exists today and was exactly what was preached at the Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago under the direction and religious teaching of the Reverend Jeremiah Wright and what President Obama listened to during sermons for the twenty years he attended this church. His claim to never have listened or heard these preaching has actually made them even more dangerous as their effect was then subliminal and affecting President Obama’s thoughts through subconscious influences and could have been partly responsible for his determination to destroy Israel and thus the Jewish People, just saying. The damages of replacement theology was based on the supposition that the Jews had been cast off by Hashem and were now under the influence of the devil, except there is no devil or hell in traditional Judaism, and thus were replaced by the Christian Church. With time the Christian Church became the Roman Catholic Church and the Eastern Orthodox Church. Then would come the Protestant Reformation where the protestant churches each replaced the Catholic Church. Somewhere off on another argument is Scientology but that gets way too complicated. The one item which was necessary for all these replacements to remain valid was for the Jews never to return to Israel as once the Jews returned to Israel, then the promise of their eventual return from exile by Hashem would be fulfilled and thus mean they were still the Chosen People and invalidate their replacement as such. Then there is Islam which basically claims to be the final and only valid religion of Hashem, except now they change the name to Allah, and according to Islam the Christians have joined the Jews as having been replaced. This is the ultimate replacement theology because the Muslim took the precaution of claiming there can never be another religion as they are the final rendition of the Abrahamic faiths. Islam also claims that Allah has promised them they will conquer the world and end all these false faiths through whatever means necessary. It all gets messy after a while but everybody agrees that the Jews are not to return except the Muslims in the Quran do accept that Jerusalem and Israel are the homelands of the Jews, just do not tell the Palestinian Arabs as they would get very upset with you. The one agreement of the Western religions is that the Jews must not be allowed to return and set up home in Israel and especially with Jerusalem as their Capital City; well, until sometime in the late 1960s and early 1970s when many decided maybe there was room to permit the Jews to return home. Thanks.

French President Francois Hollande and PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas

Anyway, apparently that short allowance has worn out and passed it use-by date and been rescinded. Now the United Nations, European Union, United States State Department (the same United States State Department which advised President Harry S. Truman not to recognize Israel but Harry listened to what his mother taught him as a child, go Mom!), numerous European countries, politicians around the globe, the Arab world, the Muslim world and many in Hollywood (where would we be without Hollywood thespians telling us what to think) and who knows who else, maybe Communists and Scientologists (though who knows anything about the Scientologists) all attempting to uproot Israel or weaken her until she cannot defend herself and find some means to eliminate the Jewish State. Did the world learn nothing from the attempts thus far to eliminate Israel and how miracles have saved her to date? In 1948 Israel did not even have a military, no chain of command, the British had taken every weapon they could find, there was no real Israeli Air Force, an Israeli tank was a car with a large caliber gun and a half dozen Arab nations and seven militias attacked within hours of the sun rising on Israel for the first time in nearly two thousand years and somehow Israel survived. In 1967 Israel was outgunned and outmanned by approximately hundreds-to-one and in Six Days took the Golan Heights, liberated Judea and Samaria from Jordanian occupation (yes, you read that right, Jordanian occupation) and conquered the entirety of the Sinai Peninsula surrounding the Egyptian Third Army. Miracle, come on, you can say it, miracle. The miracles have continued since then as in a recent Gaza conflict where there was one such event as here is one of the many articles documenting this miracle, praise Hashem. Here is what was reported by the actual Iron Dome commanding officer who related the story.

“A missile was fired from Gaza. Iron Dome precisely calculated [its trajectory]. We know where these missiles are going to land down to a radius of 200 meters. This particular missile was going to hit either the Azrieli Towers, the Kirya (Israel’s equivalent of the Pentagon) or [a central Tel Aviv railway station]. Hundreds could have died.”

“We fired the first [interceptor]. It missed. Second [interceptor]. It missed. This is very rare. I was in shock. At this point we had just four seconds until the missile lands. We had already notified emergency services to converge on the target location and had warned of a mass-casualty incident.”

“Suddenly, Iron Dome (which calculates wind speeds, among other things) shows a major wind coming from the east, a strong wind that…sends the missile into the sea. We were all stunned. I stood up and shouted, ‘There is a G0d!’ I witnessed this miracle with my own eyes. It was not told or reported to me. I saw the hand of G0d send that missile into the sea.”

The truth is Israel cannot surrender a single inch of the land the world demands she grant to those sworn to her destruction. Read yesterday’s article and view the pictures there and at the look provided and you can see how if Israel gives the Arabs the Judean Hills all of Tel Aviv to the Mediterranean Sea is visible. The same goes for Haifa and Ashdod and Netanya. The entirety of the central Israeli coastal plain would become uninhabitable as shoulder fired wire guided anti-tank rockets which are guidable could be utilized to target individual structures up to half way across Israel. Rocket and artillery fire could be sight adjusted targeting central downtown Tel Aviv. Jerusalem would be completely cut off from the remainder of Israel and West Jerusalem could be starved into submission. Ben Gurion International Airport would become a shooting gallery and no plane could land or take off with any degree of safety. All of Israel could be brought to a standstill at the mere whim of Mahmoud Abbas, assuming he remained in power. The chance that Hamas or Islamic State would replace the Palestinian Authority would be more than probable; the only question would be which one would move first as that would be the reality Israel would face within months of such an eventuality as is being considered in Paris. Finally, there is one saving grace for as long as the world does not force Mahmoud Abbas or anybody who would follow him as leader of the Palestinian Authority to accept such a peace, they would have to turn down any offer which left anything of Israel intact and should the world manage to remove the Jews, then they would flee from such a situation. The reality is that once Israel is removed from having the IDF provide security in all of Judea and Samaria, then whoever leads the Palestinian authority and the rest of the security and leadership would be dead within six months as whichever terror group replaced them just as what happened in Gaza. Abbas knows this and that is why he may talk of peace but he will never accept any peace as he has enriched himself and plans to live well and spend the stolen funds as do the rest of the Palestinian authority kleptocrats. Ridiculous as it may seem, but Mahmoud Abbas is an ace in the hole as he will never accept peace whether it comes from the European Union, United Nations or whatever council the future provides, and that is something Israel has counted on in the past though few will admit such.

France’s Misconception and a Look at Palestinian Refugees

There has been the conference in Paris which claimed that it would arrive at the perfect solution that would restart the ‘Peace Process’ and lead to a final resolution based on fairness and recognition of both people’s desires and claims and settle all disputes over property based on the 1967 Lines, a term for the 1949 Armistice Lines, with the shared capital of Jerusalem which could become an international zone, another term for briefly protected and kept by United Nations or the European Union until the first terrorist attack kills some of their forces and then it would be surrendered to whoever could get there first. This was such a lovely idea and the fact that Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu was explicitly informed that his presence was not required or desired and that he was basically persona non grata might make one just a tad suspicious. On the other hand there was an open slot for Mahmoud Abbas who surprisingly decided he preferred not to attend as such a conference had the possibility of recognizing the Jewish State and Abbas refuses to admit that the Jewish People have a right to a state or even the right to live anywhere in his Palestine which extends from the River to the Sea and all of it is what he demands for free. The French had invited numerous Foreign Ministers and a collection of around a couple of dozen met for the conference in Paris, who doesn’t want to spend a week all expenses paid in Paris? At the end of the week they issued their groundbreaking decision, they would try and meet again before the end of the year as they understand how whatever they plan to do will require that President Obama be in office and as the Americans are not able to reelect this great man whose stature garnered him a Nobel Peace Prize and he has been seeking a reason ever since. But why the great panic in Paris which drives the French and their desire to be the ones seen as the great friends of the Palestinian cause?

Well, some believe they might be driven as a response to a few minor disturbances such as the events in Toulouse, Paris, Hypercacher, Charlie Hebdo, the Batkalan Pub, Stade de France Stadium and three restaurants. In case you are still confused think crazies with guns shooting people and threatening further violence and screaming ‘Allahu Akbar’ between firing entire clips through their fully automatic unlicensed firearms. Yep, they are pushing this in a response to the terror attacks which have been ramping up and happening more frequently. This also represents the growing immigrant population from mostly the Middle East and North Africa. The theory is that by forcing Israel to grant a Palestinian State and the formation of two states for two people side by side in an area about the size of New Jersey they will codify the terrorists leading the Frenchies to be left alone. There is a small problem to this theory, the French never bothered to check with the terrorists, especially those from the Islamic State which appears to be the newest source for terror, and they did not fully check with Mahmoud Abbas and the Palestinian population to see if their theory had any validity or possibility of resolving their problem. What they would have found might have shocked them.

The first thing the French would have learned is that the Islamic State and most other terrorists today could not care less about the Palestinians and especially Mahmoud Abbas and the Palestinian Authority and the PLO. The Islamic State and the Salafists from where the main body of terror originates are Islamists and strongly religious and follow strict Sharia while the Palestinian Authority is a nationalist and secular organization which is only mildly concerned with Islam and thus hated by the Islamic State and the Salafists. The going driving forces in the Muslim world currently are Islamist religious forces which strive to establish a world Caliphate under Sharia and would just as soon replace the Palestinian Authority and would be more likely to murder Mahmoud Abbas. These groups would fit far more comfortably with Hamas and Islamic Jihad with Islamic Jihad being the preferred as Hamas is allied with the Muslim Brotherhood and off/on with Iran. So, the French idea that they could pacify and ameliorate the Islamic terrorist entities was simply wrongheaded and virtually counter-productive. What France is actually broadcasting is that they are weak and pliable and will offer up compliance, even if wrong-headed attempts, and are ready and willing to roll-over and play submissive in response to terror attacks. The French are signaling that they are incapable of fighting and will not act aggressively no matter how violent the threat they face. They have basically lit up a flashing neon sign claiming their target status with it saying, “Terror attacks will be treated with submissive behavior and coddling of any Islamist demands even if we are so ignorant that we will sometimes, possibly often, support the wrong cause, we are trying, trust us.”

What the French have not observed are the real rulers of the people in the Palestinian Arab areas. Their last election, and it will apparently remain their last election, the winning candidates were all Hamas representatives who took over 60% of the vote and even higher in Judea and Samaria (West Bank) and that Mahmoud Abbas assumed the office of President after the death of Yasser Arafat and won a questionable election with his four year term ended in 2009 and immediately before the election which he was obviously going to lose to Hamas whose candidate was not even able to campaign as Abbas refused to allow anyone from Hamas in the Palestinian Authority controlled areas after they lost Gaza to Hamas in a coup in June 2007. So the election was cancelled and all subsequent elections cancelled means that there is no legal governance and Abbas is an assumed dictator who has taken all power to himself denying the people their vote and representatives in government. So, the French were attempting to mollify Mahmoud Abbas in the hope that the Islamists, who would just as soon kill him as speak with him, would attack elsewhere. One has to wonder who the brains behind such wrongheaded thinking are. On the other hand, who really cares? What would be more interesting is what the latest direction the Palestinian planners have decided to take their exploits.

The latest intentions are not decisively different still aiming for the same goal of replacing Israel and taking over everything from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea and eradicating the Jewish population and then the Christian and then any other non-Muslim populations. Of course they do not use that language when speaking English, that would be counterproductive. In English they are all about fairness, democracy and egalitarian acceptance of all people, races and religions. They do talk about genocidal intentions and ethnic cleansing as well as accusations of an Apartheid government and other such crimes against humanity which are presumably being waged by the Israelis. They claim that the Jew settlers are stealing lands and changing realities on the ground and moving into areas which are forbidden because the lands are reserved for Arabs and Muslims only. They also speak of equality for all Palestinians no matter their current residence whether they are living in the Palestinian areas or the refugee camps in the Palestinian areas or in the diaspora or anywhere else in the world. They comment how the Palestinians in the diaspora refuse to live outside of small compounds where they retain their identity. Then there are their comments that they demand full and equal election where all are permitted to vote on the future of the land no matter their current residence. But there are some minor areas of disinformation in the Palestinian presentations; actually all of it is disinformation of one sort or another. So, what is the truth, the reality?

The first problem is their accusations made against the Israelis. There has been no Apartheid governments since the one imposed by the Jordanians after they invaded and conquered Judea and Samaria, renamed it West Bank and ejected or murdered every Jew stealing their properties and giving them to Arabs granting them deeds for the properties and these are the deeds they claim Israel is dispossessing when the properties were returned to the Jewish families who had owned the land before the Jordanian invasion in 1948. The same goes for the residences in the Jewish Section of Jerusalem, a name the area has had since before the Crusades and ever since the Muslim invasion stole most of the city for themselves in the seventh century. They stole Christian lands which had been owned for over five hundred years by these Christians and Jewish homes which had belonged to their Jewish owners in many cased for fifteen hundred years since King David conquered Jerusalem in the tenth or eleventh century BCE. The lands Jordan took and Egypt took were cleansed of all Jews and the vast majority of Christians and theirs was an Apartheid governance. The war in 1948 was not a Jewish invasion stealing the lands as the morning of May 15, 1948 before the first shot was fired the Jewish State of Israel’s borders were the Jordan River, the Mediterranean Sea, the Sinai/Negev, the Golan Heights and the Lebanon/Israel Blue Line. The lands which were taken by force were Judea and Samaria to Jordan along with the Golan Heights to Syria and the Gaza to Egypt. The war had armies from Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Yemen all attacking the newly formed and recognized by the United Nations State of Israel. The Naqba, their catastrophe was that they were, with these forces and massive number and arms advantage, unable of defeating and destroying the Jewish Zionist nation of Israel.

Their claim that the refugees remain in their communities refusing to integrate into the nations in which they are held is not because they do not wish to integrate but rather they are contained within the refugee camps under guard and denied entry except for limited numbers to do jobs nobody in their camp location desire to perform. They are held prisoner by their fellow Arabs because the few times they have been permitted incorporation into the population they abused their freedoms and attempted to overthrow governments succeeding in one after a long and sustained effort through subversions and threat. When permitted freedom and rights in Jordan the forces of the PLO soon drove to overthrow the monarchy as they had lost taking the government in an election. The King of Jordan loosed his military and drove them out when they then fled to Lebanon and began a civil war in Lebanon. This brought Syria into Lebanon and in defense of the Christians in southern Lebanon who pleaded for Israeli protection which Israel provided. For the story of survival in these contentious situation of war, read Bridget Gabriel’s autobiography of her life during this period titled Because They Hate. This is a story of life and death and a transitional trip of awakening that changed the author’s life. This was her look back and the realizations she experienced, including crawling with her mother on their stomachs in order to reach a small stream to fetch water as, if they stuck their heads up, the PLO forces would have shot them as they resided in the Christian section of what was left of their town. And that was how her entire teenage life was not a time of self-awakening but one of perpetual terror. The book is a riveting read. Eventually the Israelis drove out the PLO and were closing in on Beirut and capturing Yasser Arafat but were warned not to enter Beirut by the Americans who threatened repercussions if the Israelis touched Arafat who the Americans plucked off a rooftop in Beirut along with his top staff including Mahmoud Abbas and moved them to a safe house in Tunis, Tunisia.

They accuse the Israelis ethnic cleansing and genocidal murdering of the Palestinian population. This is despite the fact that the Palestinian population had gone from approximately 650,000 to 800,000 in 1948 to over 5,000,000 today. If the Israelis are committing genocide or ethnic cleansing they must be the worst perpetrators of such policies. Their most recent claim along these lines had to do with the knife intifada, also called the third intifada and the car intifada. These names cover the two main weapons, knives and cars with knives used to stab Israelis at bus stops, the light rail stations or just out on the street and the cars were used to run-over Israelis or ram them into crowds at bus and light rail stops or other places where Israelis might congregate. These attacks were almost without exception suicidal martyrdom attacks where the terrorist would continue stabbing. If attacking with a vehicle, they would continue targeting with the vehicle until the car was crashed or otherwise disabled. Then they would continue attacking on foot with knives or even hatchets and axes until stopped by force. This led to many of the perpetrators being shot with many killed to prevent further attacks. The Palestinians refer to these defensive actions as street assassinations of innocent Palestinians who have committed no crime other than using the streets and minding their own business. To the Palestinians it is a natural thing for them to walk down the street, or run as was often the case, stabbing every person they pass indiscriminately and qualifies as walking innocently down the street. Should any of these stabbers be shot, then it is an assassinations, a genocidal attack on an innocent. 0Killing Israelis is considered a natural state of action and considered innocent and perfectly natural thing for them to do and any act to prevent or stop such an assault is an injustice as defending Israelis is a criminal act in their society; it is a form of denying them their natural rights. If the media would ever take the time to translate any of their leaders speaking in Arabic or translate their school books and children’s shows and report on them this would surprise nobody. Many such television shows and other news stories of all varieties from print to radio to television are provided with translations on the web through sites like MEMRI and Palestinian Media Watch and Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting in America.

The talk of desiring a free and open democracy with equal rights without restriction and acceptance of all religions and inclusivity in all things in a single unified state where Arab and Israeli can live in freedom and all the Palestinians can join in ruling the lands together with the Jews is a crock pot of simmering falsehoods. The catch here is their demand that all the Palestinians wherever they currently resided and especially from their “voluntary” refugee camps, the ones where the foreign governments refuse to permit them outside the camps and ring these camps with concertina wire and with armed guards tell the story better than anything we could claim. This is another way of calling for the ‘right of return’ where another five to eight million refugees, nobody knows how many and with the ‘Syria refugees’ flooding into Europe and the news now reporting that the refugees outnumber the numbers of refugees from Syria as it is now known that these refugees include refugees and immigrants from Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Turkey, and even Jordan, Yemen, Sudan, Egypt, Libya, Saudi Arabia and further nations as far as Bangladesh. If Israel were opened up to ‘Palestinian refugees’ the untold millions which would flood into Israel would be criminal, literally, just as Europe is being flooded even from across the Mediterranean Sea from Northern Africa and even the Horn of Africa. Does anybody believe Israel would be any different? And once this single state was established with who knows how many Arab refugees including Islamic State infiltrators and then there was an election with close to eight to ten million Arabs mostly refugees and Islamist infiltrators and five million to six million Jews and other than Muslim and a government was elected, can anybody guess what the result would be? How long before the Jews were being hunted down and shot on sight? The election would be the equivalent of five hundred ducks and one thousand wolves voting on what’s for dinner. Of course Israel is being called names by these Palestinian one state supporters claiming that the Jews are racists and refuse to permit the Palestinians the right to vote for their own government even. The person preventing any election is Mahmoud Abbas as he is completely aware that Hamas would win or possibly Islamic State, either way he would be dead as soon as they took over as would many of the PLO and Palestinian Authority elite. This is why they have such a large security force including a special core simply to protect them and keep order. These were independent of Israel and they could hold some version of an election whenever Abbas decides it is safe, don’t hold your breath.

Further, these camps are not what one thinks when you hear refugee camps as these camps are cement construction apartment buildings and other than being fenced off they appear exactly the same as the buildings outside the camps(see above). Another item which boggles logic is why are there Palestinian refugee camps in Gaza and the Palestinian Authority areas in Judea and Samaria? Are these Palestinians not permitted to be free even in their own controlled and ruled areas? Why does Mahmoud Abbas force Palestinians he claims should be freed from the camps to remain as refugees in camps walking distance from his office? Somehow this makes no sense. Why is there a refugee camp for Palestinians inside Jenin and bordering Gaza City? Anyone have an answer? There is no answer beyond the fact that having the maximum numbers in refugee camps fuels their propaganda and they do not have jobs for them and they get millions of dollars and euros through UNRWA which they and Hamas use for weapons and feeding their Swiss bank accounts. Explain how the five top men in Hamas live in palaces in Qatar and are worth close to or over one billion dollars with the leader, Khaled Mashaal, “Estimates around the world are that Mashaal is currently worth $2.6 billion.” Add that Abbas is building himself a pleasure palace in Ramallah (see below) which will also house troops to defend the house and its owner. Who said that terrorism doesn’t pay?

Mamoud Abbas planned masion estimated cosr of thirteen million dollars but will end up costing far more after required kickbacks

The end result of anything from the Palestinians always includes the same end result, they get from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea and their land must be cleansed of all Jews. They claim that every refugee gets to return and is given the lands they claim to have lost. The children are given assigned names of cities inside Israel where they claim they were born. This starts in preschool and each child and their matched city is registered in their school paperwork and that assigned city goes with them for the rest of their lives and it has the effect of convincing them they should be living in some beautiful house inside Israel and when the great day comes they can go claim their new home once the Jews are all gone. And they wonder why the Israelis do not trust them. Imagine that.

President of Switzerland Didier Burkhalter announced his nation is holding a Conference on Humanitarian Law in Palestinian Authority’s Assigned Territories in Geneva starting on December 17 devoted to the Fourth Geneva Convention. Despite Israel and the United States announcement that they will not be attending, President Burkhalter is still expecting “very large participation” making his assessment on the consultations about the conference which have been ongoing for weeks. President Burkhalter was quoted making additional comments stating, “Our objective is to advance the cause of international humanitarian law.” In addition he claimed, “Even if Israel and the United States boycott the meeting, the international community must speak on the issue. There is no denigration of Israel planned.” The Swiss have decided to call for this convention responding to a request from the United Nations General Assembly which was petitioned by the Palestinian Authority. The acquiescing to any and every whim and request from the non-member observer state Palestinian Authority official observer should hold little if any surprise to anybody who has followed the consistency of the General Assembly to bow before every demand to censure Israel as well as to respect and validate anything even hinted at by the Palestinian Authority United Nations observer. My biggest problem is a question as to whether or not observers are assigned and permitted to watch and report back to the entity they represent and not to make suggestions or especially dictate steps and resolutions to the body they are presumably simply observing? This is simply another example of how the world will go to any excess in their efforts to kowtow to the Palestinian Authority, otherwise known as the Abbas Arab entity, in their efforts to establish a body of conferences, resolutions and pronouncements undercutting the existence of Israel all so as to be capable of pointing to the amassed perfectly inflammatory pronouncements against all things Israel in the Abbas Arab body’s insatiable drive to place in question the legality of the existence of Israel, something which was decided long ago when the very same General Assembly passed a resolution which made a non-binding resolution which had it been accepted the lands west of the Jordan River would have been evenly split by acreage with Israel being granted the greater challenge as their allotted areas were approximately three-quarters consisting of the Negev Desert and the rest barely arable hills and beachfront property around Tel Aviv while the most fertile areas of the central Galilee making up the half of the Arab lands with the rest in the central farm lands east of Tel Aviv leading towards Jerusalem and Jerusalem would have been an international city preserved for the benefit of all peoples. This aforementioned non-binding resolution was refused by the Arab League as they were incapable of accepting that any lands could be reserved for a Jewish state instead insisting that any Jewish lands must be ruled by Muslims with the Jewish population accepting their Dhimmi status just as Jews had always been subjugated throughout the lands of the Islamic Caliphate which had ended with the defeat of the Ottoman Empire in World War I, but the Arab League insisted on quoting the Quran dictates which ruled that any lands once conquered by the forces of Islam and included in Dar al Islam could never be permitted to be relinquished back to Dar al Harb; and especially not relinquished into the hands of Jews who had been relegated as inhuman offspring of in-Halal animals and defined as those to only be vanquished by Islam since the Battle of Khaybar of the year 629 by the forces of Mohammad who ruled in Medina.

It was between this rational and the resultant refusal by the Arab Muslim leadership to accept even a minimalist Jewish state leading to their rejection of the United Nations suggested solution for the Arab-Jewish growing conflict and their ensuing genocidal assault on the nascent Jewish state of Israel by seven Arab national armies and an assortment of militias the morning after Israel declared their independence. Despite having marginal aircraft, armor and weaponry as well as limited and conflicting command and control at the onset of the war, the Jewish forces did manage to congeal into an effective fighting force and over the next eighteen months of intermittent fighting managed to gain control of much of the lands west of the Jordan River, the very lands guaranteed them by the British Crown in exchange for releasing any claims to the lands east of the Jordan River for the founding of the Palestinian Arab state of Transjordan which subsequently was renamed simply Jordan, with the exception of Gaza which was retained by Egypt and Judea and Samaria which was retained by Jordan who renamed it West Bank in an effort to remove any reference which intimated of their Jewish origins. Egypt never attempted to annex Gaza but Jordan did announce they had annexed what they called the West Bank and extended Jordanian citizenship to the Palestinian Arabs living within, a move which was only supported by Pakistan and Britain while being rejected by the Arab League and every other Arab and Muslim country and United Nations member states. During the ensuing eighteen years until the June 1967 Six Day War there were absolutely no attempts or even thoughts to establish a Palestinian Arab state with the lands of Gaza and Judea and Samaria even after in 1964 Yasser Arafat established the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) which was the predecessor of today’s Palestinian Authority as well as Fatah, all of which are headed currently by Mahmoud Abbas, thus the reference Abbas Arab body.

Despite Switzerland President Burkhalter Conference name, the lands of Judea and Samaria, West Bank, are not Palestinian Authority’s Assigned Territories but simply contested areas which were originally divided by the 1993 Oslo Accords into three areas with denotations of Area A being under autonomous Arab control holding both security and civilian control, Area B which was under shared security control and civilian control to be determined though most assigned it to the Palestinian Authority, and Area C which was under Israeli security and civilian control and was never initially considered to ever be relinquished to Arab rule but was to remain Israeli lands. The Oslo Accords did not delineate that Jerusalem would be left in Israeli hands and made no mention of ever allowing Arab control even over East Jerusalem as Israel had previously annexed all of Jerusalem and the Oslo Accords made no mention of contesting that annexation. This coming conference is simply another avenue for the Europeans and much of the rest of the world to stand with the Arab block of nations which includes the twenty-two Arab nations and the vast majority of the Non-Aligned Movement Nations (NAM) as well as other blocks bringing the total number of nations currently echoing every Arab claim to somewhere between one-hundred and one-hundred-seventy nations assuming those European nations who have had their parliaments already voted to support recognizing the maximalist demands of the Abbas Arab body which includes all of Areas A, B and C as well as East Jerusalem all previous agreements be damned (pardon my excited language). Having the vast majority of nations acquiescing with the presumptions of this convention is far from surprising as it falls right in line with the entire history which depicts a world doing whatever was within their powers to place stumbling blocks and other obstacles legal, physical, psychological, and through media and political measures all aligned to prevent the Jewish state from reaching fruition despite the accord reached by the majority of leading victorious nations from World War I plus leaders in the world and agreed upon by the leader of the Arab world at the time, King Faisal, at a number of treaties and heralded in the San Remo Conference where the Balfour Declaration was adopted word for word and letter for letter. How the world has turned and how little surprise there is in that fact.

There were the numerous British White Papers which were all issued to attempt to tear lands away from their intended use as the Jewish state and to prevent the immigration of Jews thus making it impossible for the Jews to reach a majority of the population and thus trigger the transfer for the lands to be utilized as a Jewish state. The Peel Commission all but placed into law stipulations which would have made the formation of anything other than a hamlet of a Jewish state all but impossible and completely reneged on the promises given upon the formation of Transjordan. Then there were the forerunners of this coming conference, the Durban Conferences. These three conferences were not held to address what they claimed in their initial title which read, “World Conference against Racism, Racial Discrimination, Xenophobia and Related Intolerance.” The reality became known within moments of the opening of the first conference, the denouncing and delegitimizing Israel and defaming and delegitimizing Jews both generally and as a people thus taking up every angle possible to demean and disestablish the Jewish nature and rights for the continued existence of Israel as the Jewish state, and continued to be the theme through the remaining two conferences. This conference with its name, “Conference on Humanitarian Law in Palestinian Authority’s Assigned Territories,” is simply starting off with the specious claim to be the successor to the Durban Conferences which by their third session had lost their shock factor and had become a mere shadow of the original with the largest amount of media attention given to those nations who refused to attend and the order and reasons behind their refusal and not a stich of media cared about the rehashing of the same tired hyperbolic parroting of the same tired accusations and declarations just as empty and lacking meaning as was meat and grist of the first two Durban Conferences. Unfortunately the mainstream media will take to this conference as all new and daring to enter virgin territory despite all we will witness is the exact same gruel which we have experienced before and hopefully the media will be sufficiently unimpressed that they give more time to those nations who refuse to attend and their reasons as those are the brave nations who are willing to buck the trends of anti-Israel, anti-Zionist and anti-Semitic rantings which the world has heard a gazillion times if not multiples more than even that. The fact that there will be nations beyond the usual suspects gathering at this conference to be subjected to the usual expressions of the same old tired hatreds and bile which these same haters have delivered a thousand times and still do not seem to tire of their roles is what is the only surprise. I await the announcement from Canada that they will, surprise surprise, not be attending as they would rather be counted as a supporter of Israel than to swim in the mire and fetid swamps of hatred. May the echoes from this conference die as quickly as did those from Durban III whose echoes barely lasted the half dozen blocks to reach beyond the General Assembly meeting room before falling flat and quietly dissolving into the ether ignored and unremembered.
