Ugly Reality Mostly Ignored Shames Media

We felt that perhaps a small introduction to the article is necessary. We found sticking strictly to the subject to be terribly difficult, emotionally draining and psychologically vexing. We found writing about related facts and other connected subjects to be required for our own emotional needs. The rape of a seven-year old girl was to be so horrific that our emotions and anger resulting from even thinking about such a barbaric act to be too much, so please bear with us, thank you.

Outside of Israel and a few Jewish communities, the recent bestial rape by a Palestinian Arab worker at an elementary school, of a seven-year young girl near the school where two fellow Palestinian Arabs assisted holding the child down while berating her for being an Israeli and a Jew, has been ignored. Had such a crime been committed with the roles reversed, the world would have seen two-inch banner headlines. Such is something which will never be seen, bizrat Hashem. There are numerous items which were perpetrated and underlying this horrific act. It was not, as rapes often aren’t, a crime of passion. This was not fully a crime to impress superiority on the victim. This was a nationalistically driven act of terrorism meant to imply superiority over a Jew and “an occupier” which was helpless and did not even know how to fight. This was an act done to impel a right to take anything for their pleasure from the lands of their enemy. This was an act done to proclaim a victory over the Zionist Entity by defiling one of their women, even if the woman was a seven-year young child. This was a despoiling with intent to ruin a young mind, body and soul filling her with a dread which will haunt her the rest of her life. This was done in order to make her unfit for any other man and to claim to have destroyed a Jew. This was an act worthy of an idolatrous barbarian.

There is far more which should be understood by the rest of the world, specifically those who hate Israel without ever coming here to see what it is that they are supposed to hate and verify whether what they have been told is valid or false. The Arab view of Israel is that they will eventually destroy it even if they are forced to wait perhaps a few centuries. To many of the Arab Palestinians every Jew is a legitimate target for committing any atrocity against. The same would apply to an Israeli Christian or any Israel who is not a Muslim, or potentially not sufficiently Muslim. Theirs is an intent for domination, then humiliation and finally eradication. Their intent has not altered one iota since best described so succinctly by Azzam Pasha, Secretary-General of the Arab League who stated, before six Arab armies invaded the nascent state of Israel in May of 1948, “It will be a war of annihilation. It will be a momentous massacre in history that will be talked about like the massacres of the Mongols or the Crusades.” This is their definition of their final victory. They claim to have patience able to wait centuries. Jews had the patience to wait two millennia to return to their ancestral homelands which were defined in Torah from three millennia ago. Sure, let it be a test of patience, we still have plenty in reserve. But more acts like this and the Israeli public will be demanding action to punish all these transgressors and to end their occupation of Israel.

But this act was intended to horrify Israelis. It should horrify anybody who has even a modicum of civility. People need to step back a moment and look at which side is building a nation which will benefit all of mankind and the other is out simply to destroy everything in their goal of fulfilling their hatred for the other. Israel offered to allow any Arab willing to live in peace from those who had fled to behind the Arab lines at the onset of their invasion. The Arabs who had fled believed the Mufti’s promise of sharing in the riches of the Jews after their glorious victory. Exactly what the Secretary General had described was the outcome most of the world expected, especially many Europeans from both sides of the just ended World War. When that was not the result and after Israel offered to allow the Arab return, their Arab brothers locked them up to use to crush Israel and to use as a pawn in the media and at the United Nations. They have suffered needlessly and for that the nations in which they have been imprisoned should be made to absorb them. Many Arabs in these camps have relatives who live in the city neighboring the camp. There are such camps within Gaza and the Palestinian Authority. Palestinian Arabs are kept in refugee camps by Palestinian Arabs. One of them just brutalized a seven-year young child. His was an act of domination just as had occurred just like during the massacres of the Mongols. This was an act harboring the origins of the horrors of past wars. Echoing the past as the Rape of Nanking, Viking raids, the conquests by barbarians throughout human history. This was an aberration peculiar to periods and mindsets of periods we had hoped mankind had evolved beyond. This was an act of primitive barbarism.

The question comes down to whose lands these are and under Islam everywhere is supposed to be ruled by them, though each group believes their Imam or ruler should rule everyone. The Palestinian Arabs had all the opportunities and choices open before them. They could have joined in building the lands for the benefit of both people. They could have chosen a relatively wealthy society with opportunities available to those with the drive to take them. Instead they chose to destroy, defile and putrefy everything they touched. Theirs is a society based upon hatred and destruction. You can leave Israel out of the equation and simply look at the actions of the PLO in Jordan and the PLO in Lebanon. The essence of their intents no matter their location or whose nation they are attempting to topple and destroy, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon or wherever they are found. During the Syrian civil war, which is still raging, the Palestinian Arab refugee camps was one of the initial flash-points in the early fighting. Theirs is the outlook of the world reflected with equal barbarity by the Islamic State, specifically when they were dehumanizing the Yazidis raping every female of almost any age. This is the world they want to spread as far and wide as they are able. This is what has occurred in much of Europe in the cities where Islamic gangs prey on Christian girls. One need look to England, in Manchester where they had Islamic grooming gangs which industrialized rape. Some will claim that what happened in this case was just one case and not anything which can be seen as troubling. Would the ‘it should not trouble anyone that women are being groped, raped and often grievously injured with some requiring hospitalization across Europe’ change their thinking. When such attacks are occurring in Sweden, Germany, France, Italy and Netherlands for further examples and we could continue. But right now, we are concerned with one specific example of what is obviously not just an Israel problem.

Immigrant prison statistical graph

We keep meandering away from the rape of a seven-year young, and we keep emphasizing young because that is part of why this crime was so beyond all decency. This was a crime for which there is no suitable punishment. This rape cries out for equal pain, suffering, agony and torture of the spirit to be imposed on the rapist and his accomplices. The rapist had been arrested, but for reasons which escape us, the accomplices are still free. That needs to be rectified. What will be the end result of this unconscionable act? The state prosecutor’s office will take their time and allow as much time to pass as possible in order to have a trial with as little outside protest as they are able. They will sentence the perpetrator according to cold statistical measures and believe it is all over. That is not what required addressing. This miscreant is but one piece of a much larger problem which extends well beyond Israel, we have just been on the front line, the tip of iceberg and the only part which is visible and obvious before the world. Israel is the crux where this creeping, engulfing, divisive, supremacist, exclusionary infiltration permeating much of the Western Developed world and is subjected to scorn as others blame the victim for the criminal act of self-defense. One can bet that if a not too dissimilar crime were to be happened upon by an armed Israeli who shot the rapist, the headlines across Europe would be ‘Israeli shoots Palestinian in the Back’ and it would be the fourth or fifth paragraph when the activity of raping a young woman by the Palestinian Arab would enter into the articles. This is what Israel has faced and is the reason why this unthinkable criminal act is being ignored by most of the world, it was in Israel and they deserve what they get, not like the Europeans who are simply being left in the dark about their own difficulties. Yes, there exist articles about the criminal wave which has struck Europe with sex crimes at the top of the list of things the European public has been told they need to accept, it is simply a cultural thing. Just a cultural thing, allow that to sink in and then start to get upset. Why upset? Because it is your culture that the government is not enforcing and instead foisting a foreign culture upon the indigenous Europeans.

What to do about these problems? The first step is to have the media start reporting the truth. Next is the police need to enforce laws and apply them to the incoming immigrants. But that would lead to a war in the streets, that is not worth it as it would make things more difficult. Where does anybody honestly believe that allowing another culture to come in and exist, according to the governments, side-by-side in peace and happiness. Well my friends, it will not remain or ever actually match that description. This is a culture war and if you do not fight it now, then you will lose later, those are the choices. You can surrender and become nice little Dhimmis or your can decide that the culture which your society has lived and developed for two millennia is worthy of saving. Of course, that will require the people getting engaged and actually doing something. The government, authorities, law enforcement and everybody else, possibly even the military, are telling the people that everything will be fine, it is just an acclimation process. What they are not telling you is that it will be you doing the acclimating and the Muslims dictating how your culture will become. This is why the European elite hate Israel, we decided to fight for our culture and they are incensed that Israel is making them look in a poor way, the Jews are showing them up and they have no answer. This is the result of the Secular Humanist outlook where no culture is worth more than any other thus your culture is unworthy and not in need of defending because it has no value. This is the mindset of your leaders and they are going to allow all of Europe to go down without even a murmur, and they will come down on you should you make too much fuss. Just accept your fate as it was the lack of the current generation having children which brought on the necessity of importing immigrants to work, but the ones they have brought are not working, they are lying in wait until they reach the tipping point where they can take over and rule Europe. You continue to be silent and that will be your future, meanwhile, here in Israel we will keep right on screaming and making a fuss. We want to live and to do so as our own people with our own culture building our future. The Palestinians have no interest in their future, they simply seek our destruction, and Europe wishes we would allow this silently. We will not, what about you?

Where Have the Zionists Gone?

With the Jewish support for Democrat candidate Bernie Sanders being gauged and taking flak from Jewish Republicans and many Zionists even from the Democrat Party, some editorialists are wondering why the relative silence challenging the Jewish support. Many believe, whether backed by fact or not, that Hillary Clinton would be better for Israel of the two Democrat hopefuls challenging to represent the party in November. There is an easy answer to this quandary by simply looking at the voting record of Jewish voters in the last two Presidential elections where in the United States close to 80% of American Jews supported President Obama while over 80% of Jewish Americans residing in Israel voted against President Obama. This provides the answer that the vast majority of Zionists have already realized their dream and made their move to Israel and those who remain as Jews residing in American have drifted away from concerns about Israel and aligned with leftist politics over concerns for support of Israel.

We realized this when we were preparing to realize our dream and make Aliyah to Israel and the reactions of the congregation in Oklahoma. Where the Rabbi was very supportive and the few Republican conservatives were also supportive the majority had one simple question, why were we going to Israel and what was our problem with living in America, was that not good enough for us? To many of these Jews moving to Israel was not a realization of the Jewish dream of returning to our ancient home as much as it was performing an act of hatred and loss of faith in the United States. The reality was that the decision which brought us to Israel was made by one of us around fifty years earlier as a youth who realized very early that the pull to return to the Jewish homeland has grabbed them and had decided that once all the parents were cared for the time to realize the dream would be addressed. Where that obligation was met in a way unanticipated, we came when it had been satisfied or at least started the paperwork. It is remarkable how difficult it can be to document an entire life to the satisfaction of governments, any government. After many, many months we had completed our documentation and realized we had had full lives, or at least almost a book’s worth of documentable life between us. We still want the best for the United States and will vote and even continue to vote for our former Representative though we will not likely vote on the individual questions which dot every election ballot but as we still have friends and a son residing in our former district we still want the best for them and will likely consult to make sure we grasp the choices for the different candidates.

Yes we participate and vote here in Israel and are beginning to understand the parliamentary system of voting for party and their lists and realize its shortcomings which have granted us a greater appreciation for the direct election for the American President as against getting whoever the party that makes the governing coalition decides should be Prime Minister. In order to vote for the person you want to be Prime Minister you need to accept the slate of party ministers listed and hope the ones farthest down the list, the ones you know virtually nothing about, and neither do most others you talk with, are in the government as you need the party of the desired Prime Minister get the most seats. So, everywhere has its appeal and its not so appealing which makes sense on some level and thus wherever one goes there are those benefits and deficits and the sums often are quite surprisingly near identical. So, for those friends who wondered why we would leave America and who claimed we would regret the move we have some good news and some bad news. The good news is that there are things where the United States has great advantages over life in Israel and then there are some things so much greater in Israel. The straightforwardness of politics in the United States and the variety of products available in the stores and malls in the United States have no equal we have found thus far and we are comparing places of relative same size populations except we have yet to spend a week in Tel Aviv (which we have sort of renamed Los Angeles) which might have everything materialistically while the quality and social life here is beyond imagination as the people are by in large very much more accommodating and friendly and it is so much more natural to just be Jewish, no surprise there.

The reality is the Jews remaining in the United States are wholly Americanized Jews with almost none if any Zionists remaining in any congregation. The American Zionists are here in Israel with some exercising dual citizenship and others having completely transited and are Israeli only. A small number reside in both nations as they have business interests in the United States which require their presence so they make regular visits, business trips, to the United States. Many of the Jews from the United States and the Anglosphere are retired and some still make trips back to their native country as they have family and this means grandchildren, weddings, Bar Mitzvahs and other events which they choose to attend. Some of us have insufficient funds for such luxuries and making such a visit would take a concerted amount of savings to make such a trip so any such trip would be extensive as we would desire to visit family and friends which lie spread across the United States.

There is one last advantage in Israel, the climate. With no snow or ice along the coast and residing a mere five blocks from the Mediterranean Sea one could claim to have retired to the Riviera of Israel as the weather here resembles San Diego more than anywhere else in the United States, especially Michigan, Oklahoma or the Washington D.C. area where winters can be more disasters caused by serious snowstorms. We would like to say we miss these wintery mixes, well; actually no we don’t miss such wintery blustery weather. We will take the mildly chilly and wet winter weather which makes a serious winter bluster for as long as six to ten weeks where it actually can get into the low 40o F which when it is also raining means hunkering down in place and waiting it out until it at least stops raining. Here in Israel there are those who don their winter coats while others wear their shorts and sandals no matter the weather, even the most blustery of days. Guess which group are Sabras, local Israelis. For those who do not know, a Sabra is both a native born Israeli and a cactus and both are said to have a prickly outer layer but a soft, gushy and sweet inside which in the cactus is edible and in native Israelis comes out as soon as you make a connection with them. The majority of Israelis speak English and many speak Russian as well as Hebrew. There is said that there will be an influx of French speakers we just do not know where they may settle.

The one misconception we encountered from our American friends is that due to terrorism living in Israel is unsafe and outright dangerous. We have gotten a handle on the reality and after some research found some unexpected realities. Crime in the United States has a greater possibility of striking one’s life than crime and terror combined in Israel. The similarity is that as long as you avoid known places where such threats are more likely one can mitigate almost completely any threat from anything untoward. So, all things considered, at least for us, Israel has a better quality of life though some things a very different. Instead of living outside of town and relying completely on a vehicle to get around we live right next door to City Hall and can walk nearly everywhere we need to get to in town. When we need to go elsewhere such as for medical appointments the Israeli trains are clean, comfortable, affordable and convenient. For places the trains do not have tracks there are options such as busses or shared taxis which hold eight to twelve people and are very reasonably priced and will drop one near or at where one needs to go. The only drawback is they pick up at set locations so one might need to walk almost a whole kilometer to get to the pickup points. Basically, a car is a luxury and one which is not really necessary. Will we get a car some day, perhaps but such is not a priority. Meanwhile life is good and the Zionists do appear to almost all reside here. The Jews remaining in the United States, as everywhere where Jews are largely assimilated; well, should they continue to have an easy acceptance, they will assimilate and likely cease to be practicing Jews and within two generations be completely secularized and not identify as Jews. Then again, the situation could turn ugly slowly across the entirety of the Western World even including the United States and these assimilated Jews who thought they were completely secularized and not actually Jews would find themselves treated as being very Jewish and if they are fortunate they will be able to get to Israel where whatever the drawbacks, at least being a Jew is not one of them.

Has the World Gone Crazy? Government Wants to Look and See

Thus far this week we have witnessed too many instances of violence from all across the globe with none of it making much sense. There was the taking of hostages in a small eatery in Australia with a wannabe ISIS crazy who amongst his demands insisted on talking to the Prime Minister of the country. There was a Taliban raid on a Pakistani school murdering innocent children with the count approaching one-hundred-fifty and nearly countless more reportedly in area hospitals, let’s pray it does not exceed that number. The United States did not miss out as a former Marine went on a killing spree in Philadelphia northwestern suburb in Pennsylvania murdering his ex-wife and her sister, mother, grandmother and two children of the sister as well as shooting and injuring the sister’s husband. These, as with too many murders reported unfortunately almost daily, are the actions of disturbed minds or people blinded beyond sanity by their cause will remain beyond our ability to understand. Where the twisted reasoning behind any murder may be beyond the ability of our ability to discern and understand, efforts should continue to see if any discerning and identifying character traits or other determining actions and indicators can be discovered such that in the future some of these grisly events can be prevented. We will probably never have the ability to prevent every time somebody goes beyond all societal norms and commits some act of violence tearing a hole in society as a whole.

The question we as societies will need to answer is how far are we to permit law enforcement to go both in their abilities to collect information and survey public or even private areas in order to prevent crimes and provide a higher level of safety in their efforts to circumvent crimes, especially crimes of violence. There are already increasing usages for cameras and sound detection equipment in cities throughout the world with London taking the lead as the most surveyed city with sound detectors and cameras placed throughout so that they can see virtually every area of the streets, river, shopping centers, service alleys and probably the darkest recesses and corners throughout the city. Surveillance carried out to such an extent combined with the advancing artificial intelligence advances in computer technology including facial recognition software, gait detection and profiling which will lead to computers monitoring the entirety of these cameras and potentially adding the microphones so that they can discern every spoken word and conversation using software collating the data in order to alert police to suspected criminal acts they determine are imminent. The police would be directed in the hope that their mere presence would prevent the crime and to interdict any criminal act as soon as it occurs or prevent any violent action intervening at the predicted moment such violence might occur. It would be a virtual future crime system used as deterrence and placing police exactly where they might be needed moments before any criminal act. For crimes such as theft or a holdup such a system would likely deter many criminals but then how far would such a system be empowered. Would they use such a system to determine the name of a person crossing a street in other than a designated crosswalk and send them a summons or ticket just as speed cameras and red light cameras do in many cities currently? Such a system would potentially provide a huge increase in revenue which could potentially completely finance the entire police department.

If placing cameras and listening devices all throughout our cities and towns is acceptable, then what if the government decides to go further? It would start with a program where the government would give people payment if they were permitted to add any monitoring cameras and sound devices people currently had in their homes and businesses. The program would begin innocently and be voluntary so what would be the harm, people could simply say they have no interest and such a program might make others who would be unable to afford an alarm system with cameras and twenty-four hour monitoring and such a program would be enabling more homes to be monitored and kept safe. What argument could be made that this was not a good thing and it is still voluntary, right? Then the government would eventually see this as now a right they could extend as were not most of the people who had systems voluntarily opting to join the government subsidy. Anyways, anybody now refusing the government mandated monitoring systems and the government including these systems in their extensive monitoring would be proof that you have something to hide. The thing is such a demand would not be instituted until the vast majority of the public had already agreed to this monitoring by the government and nobody had been adversely affected, so where is the harm in government placing monitoring in every home. Such monitoring would keep homes safe from burglaries while people were at work and where would be the harm? There was a time when people would only accept a ticket if it was written by an officer who had witnessed their exceeding the speed limit or running a red light. Nobody would accept a ticket from a camera radar trap and receiving one would result in their going to court and demanding to confront their accuser. Initially this defense was accepted by the courts and then the city council allowed for a regulation, or even passed a law in some instances, that made these tickets legal and no longer permitted the defense of demanding to confront your accuser and thus no judge would accept that defense. It has become common for camera evidence to be considered superior to an eye witness’s testimony. Add facial recognition and cameras can be utilized to identify people beyond any reasonable doubt in most courts. Where these automated law enforcement technologies will end is anybody’s guess. The camera and the microphones are just the tip of the coming iceberg as we can expect explosives detection systems placed in sensitive areas or places where large crowds are expected to form such as malls, ballparks, amusement parks, concerts, fairs and special events as well as whatever devices and data gathering system which have yet to be developed. Many of the larger ports and other commercial shipping and mass travel systems including trains, planes and ships have detection equipment which checks the luggage or shipping containers as well as magnetometers to check the people while visual checks are made of carryon luggage and bags. These detection devices are simply a computerized version of using a dog or other trained animal and currently almost as reliable and their evidence is acceptable in a court as sufficient evidence for permitting an officer to search and arrest any person refusing the search in order to search the person once in custody.

There are numerous types of surveillance equipment with abilities which would astound the average person readily available to police departments should they care to make the outlay funds to purchase such devices. There is equipment which can listen to a conversation simply by placing an invisible laser onto any window to the room which the conversation of interest is being held. This technology has progressed to the point that one would need to cover the window with sound dampening screens or external cover such as aluminum storm shutters. There are systems which can see through walls with amazing detail capability. There are systems being researched which will allow governments to monitor people in ways they likely never imagined. People can be tracked by tracking their cell phones. Using your cell phone a person can be located to within ten feet and their cell phone can be activated to listen to any noises or conversations within the ability of the microphone to detect. Even the cell phone camera can be activated though such is often not very revealing as if the phone is in a purse or pocket the video will not reveal much. There are ways to monitor people’s computer usage as long as their computer is linked to a network which has internet connection active or if the computer itself is connected to the internet. The invasions of our privacy which government can potentially utilize if they wish to monitor our lives covertly are astounding and place every individual potentially in a very compromised position even without their knowledge. These are simply implications of the modern world we all reside within. But then in a world where many of us post even intimate information about ourselves on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Flickr, Instagram, Vine and others, why would many of us complain or have any problem with the government monitoring our daily activities. Perhaps the government could start their own social media site and simply put videos of some of the craziest things they monitored and maybe also the top ten crimes of the day. The one prediction which can be made safely is that privacy is a quaint idea whose definition is growing ever smaller with every passing new technology. Perhaps any legal definition claiming that we have unalienable rights to privacy, that our homes are inviolable or that our papers, effects and private information are secure from search or seizure without a court order, summons or warrant are simply cute little ideas whose potential possibility is nil in our high-tech world where information rules and those who can best gather information rule. In simpler terms, if one wishes to have privacy they best be prepared to make a sizeable effort to assure that their desire has been attained. Thomas Jefferson once wrote, “Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty.” Perhaps this could be adapted to modern times where we add that not only is eternal vigilance is the price of liberty but also the price for personal privacy from government. It could be argued that privacy is necessary to have liberty and to have real freedom. To be honest, it is rightly well worth the effort and allows one to sleep better each night.
