Peace is an Israeli Leadership Obsession Part II

Further discussion at the Synagogue and we discovered something remarkable about the people in power in the government. We saw that almost every minister who was in the top two to four spots, depending on the size of the representation of the party in the Knesset, they talked an excellent game and when speaking always had the right things coming from their mouths. So they obviously understand what is required as they spell it out consistently when they speak. The problem appears to be with their hands, they just cannot write down orders to follow up on what they promised. We were told during and after the last elections that there would be no more tolerating Hamas, Hezballah, or the Palestinian Authority and their lies and aggressions. We were told that terrorism and especially overt attacks such as we just experienced with Hamas would result in hard hitting military reprisals leaving these terrorist entities incapable of attacking Israel in the future. We were told how one rocket and Gaza would be swept clean and Israel would simply retain possession of Gaza after it had been cleansed. That never happened, not with the stabbing and vehicular rammings conducted by and paid for by the Palestinian Authority and it definitively did not happen as Hamas burned down square kilometers of crops, forests and wilderness preserves and fired rockets in the hundreds. Once more Israelis were forced to settle for a whole lot of talk-talk-talk and far less of actions and ending the problem. What Israel both wants and needs is a Prime Minister who does not talk very much, he makes simple, one-time statements and then follows through on those statements. The name Menachem Begin comes to mind. On June 22 1982, Joe Biden, Senator from Delaware, confronted then Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin during his Senate Foreign Relations committee testimony, threatening to cut off aid to Israel. Below is Menachem Begin’s priceless and inspiring answer putting Senator Biden in his place rather than trembling before imagined monsters as too many other Prime Ministers have done worrying about what the world will think, Prime Minister Menachem Begin was their lesson for how to treat the world and their reactions.

“Don’t threaten us with cutting off your aid. It will not work. I am not a Jew with trembling knees. I am a proud Jew with 3,700 years of civilized history. Nobody came to our aid when we were dying in the gas chambers and ovens. Nobody came to our aid when we were striving to create our country. We paid for it. We fought for it. We died for it. We will stand by our principles. We will defend them. And, when necessary, we will die for them again, with or without your aid.”

Begin knew from his experiences that Israel, like the Jews have always been, would be attempted to be corrupted making it just to deny them the same rights as given freely to others and in the worst case, Jews were to be sacrificed for the general good. Began gave as good as he got and often better. He knew that were Israel to survive, she would sooner or later be going it alone, thus all foreign aid could do for Israel in the long run is make her dependent upon such funding which inevitably would be withdrawn at the worst possible moment. That would be when the world would attempt to destroy Israel. This is why we decry our continued dependence upon United States produced aircraft for the Israeli Air Force which has no indigenous designed and built aircraft. One American President deciding to end the American Israeli friendship and prevent any parts or new aircraft reaching Israel would cause a disaster unparalleled and potentially striking a fatal blow. Modern Jet Fighters require routine maintenance and replacement of certain parts on a routine schedule if they are to perform well. Take away one part and they cease to function at all in all too many instances or they become dangerous to fly. Israel cannot be beholden to another nation if survival is the main objective. This also would make Israel more freedom to act without the fear of what another nation might think or might do. Had Israel waited for the United States to grant her approval to declare herself a nation, the State Department, Defense Department and virtually every other Cabinet Secretary would have advised Truman to tell the Jews to wait, it was not a convenient time for such a decree. The Jews would still be waiting for the United States government finding it convenient for there to be an Israel and by the time they said great, it is time, all the Jews would have been murdered by the Arabs while the United States might, if the Jews were fortunate, debate the problem. For those who would claim we are being disingenuous, take a look at the Kurds who voted over 92% amongst themselves to declare their independence from Iraq and their governing body decided against doing so because the United States State Department advised them that this was not a good time to do so for the United States. Israel fully backed Kurdish independence but the United States had warned them not to make waves as it would be inconvenient for them at this time. One can only wonder whether the Kurds asked for an approximation of when it would be a good time for the United States. We do not need think too hard to figure out the answer, not now, not next week, not next month, not next year and stop bothering us with such silly nonsense. This is why we have an Israel and the Kurds are being slaughtered by the Turkish forces in northern Syria and by Iraqi forces backed by Iran in Iraq. Thus far, it has been inconvenient for the United States to assist the Kurds any further in their life and death struggle against Turkish, Iranian and Iraqi genocidal efforts as these forces eradicating Kurdish villages are also allies of the United States, not just the Kurds plus it might prove embarrassing and thus making it inconvenient.

The Kurds also required a leader who spoke with the foreign powers less and listened to the people more as then, every Kurd would have had independence and that makes a people fight just that little bit harder. We understand this in Israel as when we fought our initial war for survival which was renamed the Israeli War of Independence, which is silly, as we had declared ourselves a nation, the British were leaving, and we had independence. What we did not have was security or the backing of any major power, not the USSR, France, Britain or the United States, as all had just finished with World War II and were in no mood for another fight. They all had an excess of used equipment which they refused to sell to Israel and some ended up with the Egyptians, Iraqis and Jordanians, but not Israel. Israel did have one ally supplying bullets and other necessities, it was Czechoslovakia who probably remembered how France and Britain sliced and carved them up to appease an unappeasable Hitler at the Munich Conference after which British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain, “This is the second time in our history that there has come back from Germany to Downing Street peace with honor. I believe it is peace for our time.” Czechoslovakia was actually far larger than Israel with the proof coming as Czechoslovakia has been divided into the Czech Republic (115th in size with approx. 30,000 sq. mi.) and Slovakia (127th and approx. 19,000 sq. mi.) while Israel is smaller than either (150th and approx. 8,000 sq. mi.) Israel’s little over eight-thousand square miles is next to nothing when compared to Czechoslovakia’s forty-nine-thousand square miles. Truth be told, when Britain’s Neville Chamberlain and France’s Édouard Daladier gave the Sudetenland to Hitler, they crippled the nation of Czechoslovakia giving away border areas greater than the size of Israel yet left Czechoslovakia still larger than Israel. This is further reason why Czechoslovakia aided Israel sending all the World War II equipment left on Czechoslovakian soil as best they were able.

Allow us to conclude with two statements which we believe strongly are absolute necessities if Israel is to survive into the future. When it comes to our defense, all of our armor, rifles, sidearms, aircraft, ships, submarines and all military equipment must be designed and manufactured in Israel with easy to procure parts preferably made in Israel. Israel must not permit herself to be beholding to any other nation’s favor for our vital protection. If we must depend on outside sources, then we would be best served by having multiple sources and have their alignments not all be in one small basket such as NATO or European Union. Finally, by doing this, Israel would have more to offer on the world markets with slightly altered versions of our best equipment and we would be employing thousand more Israelis in the manufacture of our own weaponry and delivery systems. This would necessarily lead Israel to build a spaceport and develop further the Israeli missile systems to include orbital capable systems and even moon and later Mars and further capabilities. The price of such could be offset by launching other nation’s satellites for them instead of paying other nations to launch our equipment and assets into space.

Our other point is striking at arms warehouses and rocket manufacturers as these are apparently easily replaced and serve as having no actual deterrence. Even striking the launchers, unless they are for the larger and more capable missiles, then you are striking at a piece of equipment where the Toyota pick up truck is the most expensive part. Single launchers can be built in any toolshed with minimal amounts of angle iron and a welding torch. Israel must consider striking higher value targets, things which would make life less comfortable for the leadership. Find out where their wives have their hair coiffed and bomb that during the night if you really must avoid casualties at almost any cost. Where do they eat out, erase the restaurants, all of them. Target the new mall, the waterpark, their homes, their vehicles with or without them inside, the arcade center, the other mall, whatever and wherever the leadership and families of Hamas and Islamic Jihad and anybody attached to them visit, destroy those places and ruin the lives of the ones giving the orders. If such as this fails to end their conflict, then the only choice left is to clean out Gaza and not allow anybody to return. Whatever the solution, the next two instances of rockets over Israel from Gaza must be the final times and never again from Gaza. Should they then shoot at Israel from the Sinai Peninsula, at least there the Egyptians will be inclined to clean them out rather than face a war with Israel. Hezballah must be informed that should one missile cross into Israel from Lebanon, everything south of the Litany River will be cleared, as will the Baka Valley and southern Beirut. That is how one ends conflicts, by letting your enemies know what will be the cost and then following through. If you cannot keep your word then nothing you say will hold a single gram of meaning.

The World Has Gone Crazy!!!

As per usual, the world is being counterintuitive, obsessive compulsive, defining things upside-down and joining the enemy. The most egregious of these is the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) has gathered the rightful ire from the Zionist Organization of America (ZOA) over the recent statements by Abraham Foxman’s replacement as Director of the ADL, Jonathan Greenblatt. The exchanges all were traceable back to the recurrent statements by numerous leaders from the Arab Palestinian Authority including their President, Mahmoud Abbas demanding that when (not if) their Palestinian State is established in Judea and Samaria with East Jerusalem as its Capital, the lands must be made free of Jews, absolutely devoid of Jews by whatever means may prove necessary (below is a now infamous video circulated by Palestinian Media Watch (PMW) with translation relating the revulsive commentary by Abbas). Arab Palestinian Authority leaders from the Fatah Party, a political projection of the PLO terror group, had posted claims on their Facebook page as reported in Israel Today with additional details provided by PMW with further corroborative links and information.

This finally incited a response from Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu who spoke in a formal video released last week (which can be watched below). An excerpt from the beginning of the video Prime Minister Netanyahu makes the statement, “Jewish communities in Judea Samaria, the West Bank, are an obstacle to peace. I’ve always been perplexed by this notion. Because no one would seriously claim that the nearly two million Arabs living inside Israel – that they’re an obstacle to peace. That’s because they aren’t. On the contrary.” Further into his speech, Prime Minister Netanyahu condemns these demands and makes an even wider condemnation of a world which stands idly by with these words, “And this demand is outrageous. What is even more outrageous is that the world doesn’t find this outrageous. Some otherwise enlightened countries even promote this outrage.”

The initial reaction came from the Obama Administration from the State Department where Elizabeth Trudeau scornfully replied as if scolding a child, not answering a statement from a head of state stating, “We obviously strongly disagree with the characterization that those who oppose settlement activity or view it as an obstacle to peace are somehow calling for ethnic cleansing of Jews from the West Bank. We believe that using that type of terminology is inappropriate and unhelpful.”

The response which was then released by the ADL Director Jonathan Greenblatt stated, “Israel has many legitimate concerns about Palestinian policies and behavior, not the least of which is Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas’s rash accusations that Israel commits acts of genocide and ethnic cleansing of Palestinians. However, the charge that the Palestinians seek ‘ethnic cleansing’ of settlers is just not one of them.” He further raised the claim that Israel treats the different Israeli citizens allowing each different rights and benefits with these words, “We want to see Israel as a democratic country that acknowledges and protects the rights of all its citizens, Ashkenazi and Sephardic, Sabra and immigrant, Jew and Arab.” The truth is all citizens also do include Druze, Baha’i, Bedouin, Ethiopian, Indian, Russian and a multitude of others residing legally in Israel with complete equality in all areas of life be they opportunity, employment, political, private, public, residence and any area imaginable replete with legal definitions and protections. Any such claims are simply ludicrous. The ZOA response can be read here.

Media have reported on the criticisms of Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu’s statements with one report reporting his equating items, which he had not, with their commentary of, “equates opposition to Israeli settlements with ‘ethnic cleansing’” as he never used the misnomer of settlements but instead referred to them as what they are, Jews, Jews residing in Area C of Judea and Samaria which under the Oslo Accords is under Israeli civil and military responsibility and designated as useable for development by Israel while denying Palestinian Authority from developing in these defined areas as they are restricted to Areas A where the PA has civil and military (security) responsibility and Area B where the PA has civil and the PA and Israel share military (security) control. Some in the Israeli media such as Haaretz also went off the deep end over the Prime Minister’s video quoting the various responses from the State Department reaction as if it were the words from the Angels in Heaven. It is so good to have the prophets of Haaretz giving us unwashed and ignorant ones true vision and leading us to reasoned understandings. Actually, I have found a fair definition of Zionist, or at the least a supporter of Eretz Yisroel, if you generally disagree with most political stances from Haaretz, or the newspaper and source of intelligent and reasoned thought as they would have one believe, then you are a Zionist.

The easiest way to show the hyperventilation over Prime Minister Netanyahu’s statements is beyond the pale is simply to ask what would have been the reaction had Israel been demanding the making of East Jerusalem Arab free East Jerusalem as it is to be part of the unbreakable and complete Capital City of Israel. There would be explosive denunciations and ethnic cleansing would be the least horrific of the criminal accusations thrown at Netanyahu and when Mahmoud Abbas denounced such a declaration he would be lauded and receive invitations to travel the world repeating his condemnations and he would be presented before the United Nations General Assembly to personally present the condemnation message they would all but unanimously vote to make it an official General Assembly denunciation of the entire State of Israel. There might even be calls to evict Israel from the United Nations and declare Israel no longer recognized by the United Nations as a nation. This would be reconsidered as without an official state of Israel, who could the United Nations Human Rights arm denounce at the start of every meeting?

The double standard where the Arab Palestinians can make any statement and nobody ever takes exception and if they even actually question the helpfulness, they explain that they understand the frustration felt and driving the Arab Palestinians as Israel simply refuses to take a national day of swimming towards Gibraltar leaving the entirety of the lands for the Arabs to take. The regard for everything Arab understandable and excusable and everything Israel to be questioned and called into doubt is appalling. From the very beginning the British enforced the ban on firearms ownership against the Israelis and often took the confiscated weapons and accidentally lost track of their whereabouts after storing them briefly with Arab leaders’ compounds before forgetting them as somehow they had disappeared.

During the war to annihilate the Jewish state immediately after her founding in 1948 found a strange set of bedfellows with both British and Nazi officers assisting the Jordanians, Egyptians, Syrians and other Arab armies with tactical and strategic efforts from their various headquarters. The initial invasions routes are shown in the map below. Still, with some assistance with arms shipments from Czechoslovakian and few others, though there are stories of other clandestine arms shipments, Israel managed to hold much but not all of her territory. One of which I read about many years ago, and have been unable to find corroborative evidence ever since, told that some of the largest electronic transformers, the sixty-six-thousand volts down to two-thousand volts, being shipped to Israel from Baltimore weighing the correct tonnage but upon arrival they were opened and resembled an arms piñata with even reportedly tanks being in at least a few shipments. The Israelis managed to form a defense force from various groups which these eventually formed the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) whose storied history is well-known.

Initial Invasion Routes by Arab Armies on May 15, 1948

What is not as well-known is how desperate state of the first hours and some of the most horrific events in the early hours and days of that desperate war which had been misnamed Israeli War of Independence as it was Israeli war to avoid a genocidal invasion bent on the murder of every Jew they could find. One of the most gut wrenching was the slaughter of seventy-nine from a convoy including doctors, nurses, students, patients, faculty members, a few Haganah fighters and a British soldier. The convoy consisted of ten vehicles consisting of two ambulances, three buses of medical staff, and three logistical trucks, escorted by two Haganah armored cars. The convoy set off for the hospital at 9:30 am carrying 105 passengers. An armored car usually meant for the Israelis a regular vehicle which may have some metal plates welded and a hole in the roof allowing for one man armed with a machine gun to stand and shoot. These were definitely not the halftrack many visualize when they hear armored car. They were ambushed using an electronically detonated mine to stop the convoy which was immediately raked with rifle and machinegun fire resulting in the dead. Some of the rear vehicles turned and fled back to central Jerusalem forgetting reaching the hospital. They carried most of the twenty wounded from the ambush. Much, actually virtually all, of the convoy personnel were unarmed medical personnel and patients leaving them all but completely unarmed. This tragic event is usually ignored as the only stories usually made public paint the Israelis who were fighting for their very existence and facing more than the invading armies as many Arab villages inside Israel and behind the front lines were organized and attacked supply depots, reinforcements on their way to the front, injured being transferred for treatment in the rear and sometimes engaging the rear of units fighting the invading Arab armies.

The years after the Israeli surprising victory in the Six Day War of June 1967 forward, the Arabs realized that destroying Israeli militarily was not going to be possible, let alone easy. After their failure after being able to surprise the Israelis in the Yom Kippur War of October 1973 and still having Israel reestablish their defenses and push the Arab armies back and beyond the starting points in the Golan Heights and the Suez Canal and pushing towards Damascus, Syria and Cairo and Alexandria Egypt; the world demanded Israel cease and return to the Golan Heights and Suez Canal. The Arabs decided that they needed a new approach and in cooperation with KGB planners they made plans to change the perception of the strong Arab world against Israel into a weak Arab surrogate against the stronger Israel. This birthed the using of the PLO which had been established in 1964 to carry out a terror war against the Israeli enemy. The PLO was already sworn from their start to liberate the lands from the Jews. In 1964 Jordan held Judea and Samaria, what they called the West Bank, and Egypt held Gaza, so what was the PLO intending to liberate? Israel itself, that is what they were determined to liberate. They intended to kill the Jews and take Israel or at least make life so impossible that the Jews would simply leave. They never could understand that the Jews not only did not intend to leave, many had nowhere to go as they were themselves exiled from Arab nations which had forced all but a remnant of their Jews to flee for their lives often without their wealth as they were limited to a suitcase, two at most and no jewelry or other items of value. These are the almost million Jews which Israel simply welcomed and incorporated into Israeli population and not held in camps demanding the Arab nations take them back and reconstitute their wealth as the Arabs have done with their “refugees” who mostly fled at the urgings of the Mufti of Jerusalem.

The Palestinian ploy making Israel the powerful oppressor has been adopted throughout much of the world and with the assistance of the remains of the socialist remnants from the Cold War, their latest alliance with Black Lives Matter (BLM) and the college and academic anti-Semites are educating and fermenting in the colleges and universities of Western Civilization are reinstating a general sense of anti-Semitism using Israel as the modern Jew. They claim they are not anti-Semites as there are Jews who are amongst their ranks and they are only against the Israeli policies against the Palestinians. They support the Arab claim that all the land of Israel is their natural homeland and the new anti-Semites are those claiming that the Jews are the only people of the planet who must not be permitted their own nation. While there are those including many Israelis who are calling for the formation of a homeland for the Kurdish people, but the Jewish homeland is coming increasingly under fire from international bodies and this is only the first wave. When today’s college and university elite graduate and there has been a decade of these trained anti-Israel graduates coming to power across the Western World, then Israel will hopefully have weaned themselves from the United States and become what she must, completely self-reliant. The reality is Israel is about to stand alone in the world. She will still have trade with some select few nations but she will have no friends with power. Her friends will be unable to assist other than with trade and perhaps provide raw materials Israel may absolutely require to survive; but Israel can expect to be evicted from the United Nations and find no friend on the Security Council which means a world poised to do the unthinkable, destroy the Jewish nation and the Jews worldwide once and for all. That was a day which the prophets foretold and it is not going to be a pretty day. Do not believe anyone knows how that day ends as that may not be as expected. It will be the final day after which the world may end in a whimper. As the poet T S Eliot predicted in his immortal poem in its entirety below he wrote, “This is the way the world ends. This is the way the world ends. This is the way the world ends. Not with a bang but a whimper.”

The Hollow Men

We are the hollow men
We are the stuffed men
Leaning together
Headpiece filled with straw. Alas!
Our dried voices, when
We whisper together
Are quiet and meaningless
As wind in dry grass
Or rats’ feet over broken glass
In our dry cellar

Shape without form, shade without colour,
Paralysed force, gesture without motion;

Those who have crossed
With direct eyes, to death’s other Kingdom
Remember us-if at all-not as lost
Violent souls, but only
As the hollow men
The stuffed men.

II

Eyes I dare not meet in dreams
In death’s dream kingdom
These do not appear:
There, the eyes are
Sunlight on a broken column
There, is a tree swinging
And voices are
In the wind’s singing
More distant and more solemn
Than a fading star.

Let me be no nearer
In death’s dream kingdom
Let me also wear
Such deliberate disguises
Rat’s coat, crowskin, crossed staves
In a field
Behaving as the wind behaves
No nearer-

Not that final meeting
In the twilight kingdom

III

This is the dead land
This is cactus land
Here the stone images
Are raised, here they receive
The supplication of a dead man’s hand
Under the twinkle of a fading star.

Is it like this
In death’s other kingdom
Waking alone
At the hour when we are
Trembling with tenderness
Lips that would kiss
Form prayers to broken stone.

IV

The eyes are not here
There are no eyes here
In this valley of dying stars
In this hollow valley
This broken jaw of our lost kingdoms

In this last of meeting places
We grope together
And avoid speech
Gathered on this beach of the tumid river

Sightless, unless
The eyes reappear
As the perpetual star
Multifoliate rose
Of death’s twilight kingdom
The hope only
Of empty men.

V

Here we go round the prickly pear
Prickly pear prickly pear
Here we go round the prickly pear
At five o’clock in the morning.

Between the idea
And the reality
Between the motion
And the act
Falls the Shadow
For Thine is the Kingdom

Between the conception
And the creation
Between the emotion
And the response
Falls the Shadow
Life is very long

Between the desire
And the spasm
Between the potency
And the existence
Between the essence
And the descent
Falls the Shadow
For Thine is the Kingdom

For Thine is
Life is
For Thine is the

This is the way the world ends
This is the way the world ends
This is the way the world ends
Not with a bang but a whimper.

The Hard Left and the New Anti-Israel Filter

The Boycott, Divestment and Sanction Israel Movement (BDS) is the core principle which the new hard left groups demand everyone support or they cannot support any of the other hard leftist movements. Think you believe in racial equality and support those who are fighting against perceived mistreatment of Blacks by the police, justice system and all of life and politics and desire to join the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement, well, what are your views on Israel. Support Palestinian Arabs as people of color and actively support BDS or you will be found to be unacceptable to the BLM leadership and their constituents. If you are Jewish you will almost constantly be suspect and will have to be more anti-Israel than anyone else to the point that you will need to become obsessively anti-Israel and super active pro-Palestinian Arab. You will need to find out if any of your friends or members of your synagogue support Israel and avoid them to the point of rudeness. Yes, we agree, the two should have nothing to do with each other but still hating Israel and everything about Israel and those who are lost to supporting the genocidal Israeli policies or obviously you cannot be a true supporter of the BLM groups. Support for Israel automatically makes you unacceptable to support BLM because they demand you hate Israel and support the BDS movement. But wait, there’s more.

What if you believe you support women’s rights and equal pay for equal work and decide you want to be a supporter and join National Women’s Studies Association (NWSA)? Again it will come down to your support for BDS and being anti-Zionist to the point of being anti-Israel. Of course the NWSA does not demand you hate Israel, just Zionism. Of course as one cannot tell which Israeli products are from the “West Bank” (Judea and Samaria) or whether anything used in their production came from there so to be safe just boycott all Israeli products to be safe. What does supporting BDS have to do with women’s rights and smashing the glass ceiling and making equal pay for equal work the law? Everything, obviously as how can you be sensitive to women’s rights while not being equally sensitive to the Palestinian Arabs plight?

The same question can be asked about BLM demands that one support BDS and stand against Israel politically. The same goes for an endless number of other leftist causes, especially the most adamant activists. It is the leftist law that if one is in for one cause, they are then in for all causes. This all for one mentality forces on all the acceptance of many presumed facts. The Palestinians are also being suppressed by Israel which can be proven through simple facts. The Palestinians have not had an election in years and are not allowed to vote in Israeli elections. Never mind they are ruled by the Palestinian Authority in Areas A and B in Judea and Samaria and that Gaza is ruled by Hamas and Israel pulled every Jew, Israeli, and IDF troops completely out of Gaza in August of 2005 in a gut wrenching and societal upheaval where over half the country was either up in arms against, crying in sympathy and generally supporting the people of Gush Katif and the other communities torn apart and having their lives completely dumped on its head. Some of these people remain as refugees all but ignored by their government who promised at the time to make things right, they most certainly did not and many of these communities found themselves fighting alone to put a life of any measure together. Many took over five years for the government recompensing them for their losses, but how do you put a price on life of an entire community. They lost their synagogue and were scattered with lives shattered. But you are a leftist, these Zionists have no relevance to your causes but supporting BDS is the right thing to do, everybody you protest with agrees that supporting BDS, the Palestinians and the Arab cause against Israel is just.

Why should the Jews have their own nation? It’s not like the Jews are like the Japanese, Chinese, French, Russians, Germans, Italians, Iranians, Syrians, who definitely deserve a new nation probably somewhere in Europe; the Jews are different and simply live in all kinds of nations and that has worked, right? Well, there was that problem during World War II, but that cannot happen again, the Jews are accepted now. Yes, there is some anti-Semitism but that’s not our problem, is it, after all we like Jews; it is the Israelis who are the problem.

Yes, that is it, you know there is a difference as you are not against Israel; you are just against Jews living in Israel and ruling over Arabs. Instead Israel should become an Arab state with Arabs leading it and of course the Jews can remain once they permit the five million, or is it eight million, hard to tell as the numbers change regularly, but allow these millions of Arab Muslims to settle where their homes used to be or wherever they claim their homes used to be. Even if some of the new Syrian refugees might remember their long lost relatives who lived in Israel and that should qualify you to also move to Israel. Why go all the way to Germany when you can simply cross the Golan Heights and settle in Israel, the United Nations will vote to allow that in the General Assembly and the world will send forces to assist even without a Security Council Chapter Seven motion though if the world acts while President Obama is still in the White House it is possible that the United States will support this solution for the Syrian refugee problem so neatly.

The Jews will be safe with the Arabs ruling Israel as Israel is a democratic nation with freedom of religion. That will keep them safe. That is one of the Basic Laws which serve like the Israeli constitution, and constitutions are permanent. Well, yes, technically any Basic Law can be repealed by a simple majority vote of the Knesset. The Arab would never repeal such a basic and fundamental law, would they? And anyway, even if the Arabs changed the laws, the Jews could return to the nations in Europe and the United States where they came from. What is that? Half the Jews in Israel came from nations in the Middle East and North Africa when the laws made remaining impossible and in some cases were thrown from their homes with everything they owned stolen leaving them one or two suitcases per person. Well, they could all move to the United States and live somewhere where there are many Jews already, like New York or Boston.

These are becoming fundamental tenets of the hard left and are spreading to take control over the left completely. Take the Democrat Convention of 2012 where they voted down placing recognition of Jerusalem as the Capital City of Israel and the fundamental belief in G0d as part of America when this was brought to a vote on the floor of the convention (see video below). Further evidence came from the recent Democrat Convention which we covered with words, pictures and video here. The Left party in Britain, their Labor Party just had an investigation into sweeping anti-Semitism spreading through their ranks and within their ruling elites including Jeremy Corbyn, their leader as well as the Leader of the Opposition in the British Parliament. But British anti-Semitism is not new as this anti-Semitic cartoon from the 1233 Norwich tax record (see below). Study guide for the picture with explanation can be researched here.

The anti-Semitism in France has reached levels where many Jews no longer feeling safe moved to the United States if they had relatives and to Israel. Anti-Semitism in Europe is growing at a pace even faster than the arrival of Arab refugees who bring their own anti-Semitism with them. It is proffered that the increase in anti-Semitism in Europe which has sufficient evidentiary proof which displays that it far outstrips the numbers of the new arrivals is likely due to the feeling that it is acceptable and even becoming welcome and acceptable and is heavily aligned with the progressive left. Such as this is why Israel is so vital as not so slowly but definitely and definitively and inexorably anti-Semitism is growing on the political left joining the radical extreme right where historic anti-Semitism was always claimed to be the unwelcome part of such political extremists, but the leftist anti-Semitism is spreading from the hard left progressivism into the mainstream liberal progressive left. Acceptable organizations including groups among those supporting racial equality such as BLM, women’s right such as NWSA and other left progressive groups in other causes favor and even demand that their members also support the BDS movement or at least boycott certain or all Israeli goods. Rejection of Israeli academics has swept across many campuses in Europe, the United States and other higher education institutes around the globe. Unions have lined up in active support of BDS.

The near universal and still growing support from the progressive forces and the Democrat Party as well as the animosity against Israel are troubling and it appears it is only a matter of time before the anti-Israel and pro-BDS support begins to morph into anti-Semitism. Initially the anti-Semitism will be against the obvious religious Jews which is actually weird as it is amongst these very groups where there are Jews who do not support Israel for religious reasons believing that the return to Israel, the Promised Land, will only come as a blessing from Hashem when the Messiah comes and leads the incoming as part of the initiation of a perfect world. They view Zionism as being against the will of Hashem and thus sinful. Still, they will be the first ones to feel the anti-Semitism as it becomes part of the mainstream. Then the next groups will be the religious Jews and then relatives of Israeli Jews and religious Jews. Eventually it will spread to be all Jews and even those Jews who have sworn off and left their religion will not be safe before the rising anti-Semitism is finished. The levels of anti-Semitism in Europe are rising, already permeate the Middle East and North Africa, are growing in many parts of Asia, have risen again in Russia and the Ukraine and are starting to grow in the United States.

What is most disturbing is the raising level of anti-Semitism is greatest on college and university campuses with regular anti-Israel demonstrations, the shouting down to physically attacking any pro-Israel speakers or even Jewish speakers in some instances. This fact makes the future highly doubtful and potentially unsafe for Jews throughout the Western World. Should these apparent threats come to fruition the existence of Israel will become a holy saving grace for the Jews of the world. What is equally if not more frightening is the potential for the United Nations Security Council revoking the resolutions which established the nation of Israel, evicting Israel from the United Nations and then passing a resolution calling for the military forces of the world to finish the destruction of Israel as an illegal entity and ridding the world of Israel. Should that come to pass, how much longer after such would the world then turn to rid itself of all Jews as a measure to assure that the world never establish a Jewish state in the future. The possible spread of anti-Israel accompanied by its close relative, anti-Semitism, takes hold throughout the governments of the world; what nations would refuse to comply with such bigotry?

The one we would predict would be a nation familiar with being the sacrificial lamb of the greater powers of their day, the Czech Republic, one of the two nations formed from Czechoslovakia which supported Israel in 1948 when most of the world placed an arms embargo against the nascent state of Israel fighting for her survival from day one of her existence. The British and the United States both embargoed Israel contrary to the mistaken ideas that both were allies and friends of Israel from the start, not so. Still, if it became Israel and the Czech Republic and maybe another fifteen smaller nations were to face the major powers for their allied survival, the outcome might surprise the world and that would prove a single truth, Hashem does care and still rules the Earth far more than those elites rule, much to their dismay, we are sure. We pray it never comes to that but the levels of anti-Semitism resulting in almost every Jew returning to Israel, their real home, that may very well be on its way and the end result will benefit the world if only it will allow Israel to fulfill her true mission, to be a light unto the nations and shine a light on Hashem and his truths.
