Abbas Reveals the Palestinian Demands

Mahmoud Abbas revealed to Russian President Vladimir Putin, “We state that from now on we refuse to cooperate in any form with the U.S. in its status of a mediator, as we stand against its actions.” This was a bit of an introduction to their real stance, which is actually no different than it has been since Yasser Arafat or Grand Mufti of Jerusalem Mohammed Amin al-Husseini (Arabic: محمد أمين الحسين); they want it all with no Jewish State, only an Arab Muslim state where the Jews accept Islamic superiority. In a recent speech commemorating fourteen years of the death of Yasser Arafat, his mentor, stated, “The ‘Deal of the Century’ will not pass and the fate of the land of Palestine will be decided by the Palestinian people.” These remarks were quoted by Channel 10 News which went further claiming, “We are remaining on our land and we will continue to act. Our flag will continue to be raised on the walls of Jerusalem as you always wanted,” referencing to Arafat. “The stage that the Palestinian people are going through is one of the most dangerous that has passed so far – the provocation that began with the Balfour Declaration has not yet ended. The occupation must end. You will not find one Palestinian who is willing to renounce the rights of the Palestinian people.” Abbas has also threatened to cut off all relations with Israel if an agreement is made between Israel and Hamas without his approval. He has already stated that there can be no agreement with which he would agree. Mahmoud Abbas has simply taken the position that he opposes any and every peace between Israel and anybody as he claims that all of the lands belong to the Palestinian Authority (PA) and thus Israel does not exist in his view of the world.

We have been listening to Abbas far too long while he has often made the claim that the PA only demands what is theirs, the 22% of the Mandate. Whenever he has made this claim, the Media misrepresented his demand by claiming that the 22% is simply the areas of Gaza, Samaria and Judea, the region of the Shomron beyond the Green Line, as they described his demands for the pre Six Day War lines which are the 1949 Armistice Lines between Jordan and Israel. This is actually inaccurate as these regions while close to 22%, are not the 22% that Abbas demands. What has to be noted is that he claims 22% of the Mandate. When one goes back to the British Mandate and checks the divide between the Arab State and the Jewish State along the Jordan River, delegated 78% of the British Mandate was reserved for Jordan, the Arab State, leaving 22% of the Mandate for the Jewish State, Israel. This is Abbas’s claimed 22% as the word Mandate is referencing the divide between Jordan and Israel in the lands promised by the British when they reached the agreement with the Zionist Congress (see map below). Abbas simply wants the 22% of the Mandate which is Israel. Until the truth of the claims by Mahmoud Abbas and other Arab leaders, who will claim the same demands, the replacement of Israel with an Arab Muslim State with the Jews cared for as Dhimmi initially and eventually the Jews will meet the same end as did the Jews of Medina, the Banu Qurayza. Meanwhile, President Trump has been giving signals that his ‘Deal of the Century’ will soon be made public and that neither side will be happy with everything but they will each also like parts and all will see immediately the reasons for the compromises in the deal. All this attention begs a question, why is Israel so important that the whole world appears to revolve around Jerusalem?

There is a reason why everything around Israel is so important, but one has to look deeply into the history and the positions and why reaching an agreement will signal a seismic shift in the Arab and Islamic view of the world and not merely Israel. We hope that the rest of the world realizes that Israel is not going to surrender and just hope and pray that the Arabs will treat them humanely. So, if an agreement is ever reached, it will signal an acceptance of the Jews to live in peace and security in their ancient homelands, or at least most of their ancient homeland. Such an agreement will signal that Islam in general and Arabs in particular have compromised on their claim that all lands which have ever come under Islamic control, and specifically Arab control, must always remain under Islamic (Arab) rule and must never be permitted to be ruled by any other. What makes Israel even more important in signaling such a change is because the Arabs and many Muslims have a particularly deeper hatred of Jews than any other group of unbelievers. One could logically reach the conclusion that it would be more readily possible that the Christian, Buddhist, Hindu and other religious groups, including secular humanists, could reach an accord of mutual respect than it will ever be for Israel to reach such an acceptance. We would have to, quite reluctantly and unfortunately, agree that this is very likely quite valid. This is why Israel makes the perfect test case. Let us look at the positions of the various groups.

The PA claims they simply desire what is theirs, everything. They claim that they will treat the Jews honestly, which is something we fear with good reason. We know that as Dhimmi there will be demanded that we pay a Jiyza, a tax on the unbelievers in return for which they remain protected. There is no upper limit to the Jiyza which means that at some point the demand could be all of one’s possessions. After that, the Jews would no longer be capable of paying any future Jiyza demand which would remove the obligation to protect the Jews and we all know what follows losing protection. This is the point where the demand becomes convert or die. Still, we would live longer under the PA than we would Hamas. Hamas does not mince words, they simply want to kill every Jew on the planet, and off the planet if we should head out into space. We could find a place where it is obvious from space that we would belong, call it the mythical Planet Israel (depicted below). Of course there is no such myth just as it is highly unlikely that such a planet exists, though most physicists claim that if you can think it, then it probably exists somewhere out in the deepest recesses of space. But the Hatred which the leaders of Hamas express is presumably held throughout much of the Islamic world. So, let us move on to Iran which, while Islamic, is not purely Arab as it is the former state of Persia. The empire which was built by Cyrus the Great who liberated the Jewish People from their exile in Babylon and allowed them to return to their homeland and instructed them to rebuild the Temple in Jerusalem. That is not the view of the current rulers in Persepolis, oh, sorry, Tehran, as they wish to wipe Israel off the map, or at least this was the wish of their past President, Ahmadinejad. The former Prime Minister of Malaysia, Muhammad Mahathir, is another Islamic leader who has expressed desires to be rid of Israel. The general level of animosity against Israel, and also by many against the United States, was in full evidence when President Trump announced the United States intention to move their embassy to Jerusalem recognizing that Jerusalem was, is and always will be the Capital City of Israel and much of the Islamic world broke out in riots, some staged but most were an actual result of the anger of Muslims worldwide. That was a further proof of the reason that no Arab or Muslim nation is supposed to recognize Israel. It was all placed in the Khartoum Convention and the Three No’s, “No peace with Israel, no recognition of Israel, no negotiations with Israel.” That was the decision of the Arab League after their meeting in September of 1967, and was their official position after their loss in the Six Day War with Israel gaining territory which included the Sinai Peninsula, which was returned to Egypt, who released their claim to Gaza, when their peace was reached with Israel. For making this peace, Egypt was evicted from the Arab League for quite a period and Egyptian President Anwar Sadat was assassinated by members of his own military while watching a pass in review of some troops. Later, Jordan also reached peace with Israel releasing their claims to all lands beyond the Jordan River, though they later reneged on that claiming they meant that they gifted those lands to Yasser Arafat and the PLO, a terrorist organization.

Planet Israel

Planet Israel

In many ways, Abbas took down the couching of their demands and came out stating that the Palestinian Arabs will remain steadfast in claiming the entirety of the Mandate Lands. He has also stated that should Israel reach an accord ending the Gaza violence and rioting along the border that he will break off all negotiations with Israel. Well, that is just wonderful, except one need ask, what negotiations is he speaking of which he will break off? There are no negotiations between the PA and Israel for him to break off, unless he means his repeated denunciations of President Trump and claiming that the United States is no longer an unbiased arbitrator and will be rejected by the PA. Maybe he means his referencing that he would be glad to accept the United Nations General Assembly or similar international group deciding the solution to the Arab-Israeli Conflict. For Israel, that would be like one-hundred-ten wolves and three sheep with thirty or forty cows with ten bulls running for the high ground all deciding what will be on the menu for dinner, and everyone except the sheep are voting sheep or vacating as fast as possible so as not to be dessert. Abbas has been pushing his desire for the conflict solution to be internationalized as he, and we, know what that would bring, the end of Israel. But the only problem we know will be the result is that nobody will ever notice the complete refusal of Abbas to accept anything short of Israel erased and his being placed as the potentate over the new Arab nation of Palestine. We can understand the world ignoring his demand as we have people in Israel who are unaware of his demands simply through willful blindness. Apparently, willful blindness is a politically based disease which goes along with certain political position of which in Israel the Two-State Solution is by far the largest group representing this malady. It is not that Israel would not have accepted a Two-State Solution as we accepted the offered divide offered by the United Nations in 1947 which the Arab League refused instead opting to destroy Israel at her birthing in May of 1948. The Arab League had a half-dozen Arab armies attacked Israel along with numerous militias and volunteers from numerous other nations and assistance by officers from both sides of World War II as advisors. They failed to crush Israel but they did take Gaza and the Shomron (Jordan’s West Bank annexation which they released in their peace with Israel as noted above). We accepted it again with generous offers in 1999-2000 under the auspices of President Willian Jefferson Clinton and again in 2008 with the help of President George W. Bush, the first refused by Yasser Arafat, the second refused by Mahmoud Abbas (Arafat in a suit). Israel had been residing in peace with her Arab neighbors before Egypt and Syria allied with Jordan invaded Israel starting the Six Day War. An uneasy peace continued until the forces from Egypt and Syria attacked starting the Yom Kippur War. The Arabs decided after these two losing efforts by open warfare, they needed to change the equation. This is when they fully backed the efforts of the PLO terror group. This effort changed the worldview from the Arabs as Goliath and the Jews as David to the Arabs as David and the Jews cast as Goliath. The world had absolutely no problem accepting the new venue which cast the Jews as the oppressors instead of the weaker side in the conflict. This has been the situation but now that Abbas has laid out his hand claiming the demand for Israel to be completely destroyed and replaced by an Arab Islamic state with him as the absolute leader, we could hope that somebody out in the greater world will sit up and take notice, but we will not be holding our breath.

We Have a Question and a Statement for President Trump

But be assured, it will end with a question mark and a simple ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ will not suffice as an answer. The initial part of our multi-subject question concerns the demands from Palestinian spokespeople from such corridors as their closed PLO office in Washington D.C. where Husam Zomlot as head of the recently-closed PLO mission in Washington told AFC, “Their words go against their actions and their action is absolutely clear, is destroying the possibility of the two-state solution.” He also commented, with anything stated telepathically in italics, that anything the President says is insufficient in bringing the Palestinians back to the negotiating table. Please allow us to translate that from Palestinian to normative language for the uninitiated, We Palestinians will not negotiate for even a single instant that a photo-op takes without ‘Yuge’ (they also speak Trumpeze) bribes in the form of land, released terrorists and promises which we know the Israelis, those Jews, will keep because they are fools, and then we will come for a quick photo-op because then you as President will have your moment in the sun and will have forced the Jews to pay for it. We will never surrender from our position of a one-Arab-state-solution. The Jews can stay because we will require slaves to keep the money flowing but when they are no longer prosperous enough for our likings, then we will need people to blame and execute as executions make the public happy. He kept much of his statement as a silent one in his head, but he had to at least think it so as to claim that he had warned everyone this would happen afterwards when they claim he mislead the world. You see, with Taqiyyah, you can have something said in some odd manner, including saying it in your head, and then claim that you communicated it to President Trump and it is not your fault he is cranially inadequate to have understood what you told him telepathically at the time when you met at the United Nations.

The Palestinians have a unique form of making deals with the uneducated imbeciles from the United States. They understand the more sophisticated means of Arab Islamic negotiations where those who wish to talk must first be too strong for you to defeat one-on-one. Then one always begins the negotiations from the very first word. Then the negotiations go through the following stages, pre-negotiating where the non-Islamic side is required to make a series of painful and ever escalating concessions; they plan on having more negotiations after these fail, that is crucial to their method, until it becomes obvious that we have gone too far and are now testing your patience, which we have found to be quite tolerant even of insults. Once we have the concessions part met and agreed upon, but with nothing in writing; this way we could have claimed that during negotiations we will accept this or promised to do that and can, as it was not in writing, claim these things were never agreed upon and that as Arab and Islamic we are very sad you lacked the proper understanding, namely that you give, we promise and never deliver, you give some more because you brought that up and now we feel insulted that you were cheating and we need to be soothed for the insult that you would think so of our actions and not just accept that we are superior. Finally, after a few added rounds of having you, President Trump, squeeze everything and a few additional goodies from Israel, now we can have that nice lunch on the White House lawn with a nice lamb served up from a Halal caterer and then a quick photo-op and run as we did not realize it was so late, sorry, have to sign it another day in Jerusalem, our side of Jerusalem, oh, and add that to the promises. Then President Trump will try to move forward and find that he is back at square one and they are demanding that Israel must be forced to provide a new set of goodies. As to the question of what they really want, that is simple and does not even require that a Palestinian Arab nation be formed, it just requires that Israel be destroyed, the Jews do not get to have their own country because they are Jews and then the Jews who failed to get out in time will be ours to do with as we please resulting eventually in their public executions. Theirs is a different view of the world and threats to their way of life and seeing the world, which is depicted by the map shown in the picture below.

The Islamic and, coincidentally, the Arab viewpoint of any negotiations are simply to provide the schedule for the complete surrender of the lands the Zionist stole from the superior Islamic forces when they destroyed a nation which has never existed as anything more than the Roman name given the area of Judea and Samaria after their defeat of the Jews over five hundred years before Islam ever existed. This defeat of the Jews became necessary as the Judeans had overthrown Roman Rule and as such had to be destroyed Roman style. They employed the exact same dispersion as had removed the Carthaginians from world memory except for the history of their three glorious but in the end unfruitful wars with Rome, the Three Punic Wars. The Jews had a similar history with Rome which was the reason for their receiving the presumed culture killing dispersion. I realize that there are not a huge number of Jews left in the world, as we have suffered some other little problems with some along the same scale and a few worse as the Roman dispersion punishment leaving us to be less than 0.2% of the world’s population, but we are willing to bet more people reading this have met a Jew than have met a Carthaginian. In this region, the Arabs had been replaced by the European rulers after World War I. This led to the Colonial Powers imposing borders, randomly drawn and resulting in maximum chaos. That is exactly what we see breaking down virtually everywhere across the Arab world from Iraq to Libya. Much of it surrounding Israel was put into motion by, yes, by the French and the British whose two diplomats drew up the region to promote the necessity of a strong-man type leader with a map drawn by Mark Sykes and François Georges-Picot who drew up the Sykes–Picot Agreement creating the French and British Mandates (see map below). This agreement was drawn up in Paris and London with little if any consultations with the commanders in the field and with no regard to any promises or arrangements which were made to win people to the Allied effort. One of the biggest swindles was the exclusion of Kurdistan which had been promised by a British officer who, to his credit, was quite put out, as the British might say at that time, and he took his complaint to the Defense Ministry and was informed that politics had become settled and nothing could be done. The politics was know later to be what became British Petroleum, then Getty Oil, and the Mosul oil fields which were generously leased to them by the King of Iraq who the British had just installed. This map eventually resulted in 78% of the British Mandate after Iraq has been formed, went to the Arabs such that the other son from King Faisal would also be granted a kingdom. This left 22% for the Jewish State with a border between the two of the Jordan River, the one time the British actually took the lay of the land into consideration. When you hear Mahmoud Abbas claiming that he is only asking for 22% of the land, he means the 22% of the British Mandate which was not Jordan. He is demanding to be given all of Israel, not some percentage of Israel, and this is a very important and vital fact which all politicians must understand if they are to understand anything.

When Abbas and the rest of his crew of ‘individuals,’ and we are using that term individuals in the loosest of senses, refer to the area they require be granted them include all of Israel. They feel this is fair because they conquered this region long ago and that makes it Islamic forever, the Quran says so, and that ends the discussion. Well, apparently Mahmoud Abbas has found a plan he would actually accept as long as one additional condition is met. The deal Abbas heard was for an autonomous region where the Palestinian Arabs residing in the Shomron would be granted Jordanian citizenship and could either move to Jordan and receive a brand new apartment with a job at a local factory and possibly an incentive to ease the cost and strain of moving. These companies will be producing goods which are sold in the United States and are imported without any duty or other taxes by the United States, Egypt or Jordan. These will be communities build around these factories which are part of a program calling to build a Qualifying Industrial Zone (QIZ) where an Israeli company is granted this advantage access to the United States markets as they provide jobs for Jordanian and Egyptian citizens. There is thought of expanding this program which works to the benefit of Israel, Jordan, Egypt and the American consumer who receives a better price for these items. This will give Palestinian Arabs from both the Shomron, close to Jordan, and Gaza, close to Egypt, to be able to easily take advantage of these programs, new good paying jobs and new apartments. You can call it a bribe, an incentive, an enticement or even a buy-out, but it is the kind of offer which might just be too much to pass up. When this leaked that there was a plan which would combine the population of the Palestinian Arabs in the Shomron with Jordan, as Abbas cares even less about the Arabs in Gaza so their getting to do this same deal with Egypt was of no consequence to him, Abbas stated he thought that it was a great idea which had not been taken to its natural limit. We discussed this as part of the closing of the PLO office in Washington article from about a week and a half back. Abbas says that this is a great idea as long as all the “refugees” are included and also Israel is made a part of this super-state. What would such a nation be called? It might be Holocaust II or twenty-two-million wolves and seven-million sheep discussing the dinner menu. It is far too easy to see why suddenly the idea of uniting the Arabs being altered just slightly to reunite all the lands from the British Mandate, and add in the darlings of the world, the five-million Palestinian Refugees, the only refugees who pass their status from parents to children at birth, and then stir briskly and see how things turn out. We are sure that Mahmoud Abbas also would demand that the IDF be disbanded and the Jordanian Military be tasked with security.

The only thing puzzling us here at BTC is exactly how long is it going to take before President Trump realizes beyond any doubt that the only peace any of the Arabs are willing to accept is the one where there is no Israel, the Jews have no power over the land or their rights and the Jews are made their Dhimmis exactly as demanded by the Quran. And while President Trump is working to digest that, perhaps he should be warned that the Islamic World also demands that Andalusia be returned to them as it was stolen by the Church back around 1492, and despite the obvious coincidence, it has nothing to do with Columbus and everything to do with much of Spain and the whole Iberian Peninsula. The Arabs actually agree with many of the European leadership and high placed individuals in that the Jews rightful place is subjugated with little if any rights and providing a service to the community and also providing a target for blame whenever any calamity strikes from a plague to the flu or an economic downturn or a surprise where elections went differently than predicted or anything else which can be simply blamed away as the Jews did ‘it’ and now they must pay. This type of treatment was very much the way in much of Europe from around the third century BCE and spread rapidly across the Middle East and then across Northern Africa and down the Nile River covering a region often referred to as MENA. This was the Caliphate at near its greatest expanse which reached across the Iberian Peninsula where the Islamic conquests were turned back at the Battle of Tours where Charles the Hammer Martel defeated their army and they retreated back into Spain where they were later expelled along with most of the Jews during the Spanish Inquisition. The Islamic world was little different as the Jews, along with Christians, were considered Dhimmi, a protected class of citizen who is without legal rights and who can be required to pay a special Jiyza Tax to remain a protected people as “People of the Book.” In both Christian Europe, after the Reformation, things remained pretty much the same as both Catholics under the Pope and the Protestants under their various leaderships, both treated the Jews with some degree of disdain, and the Islamic World there were times when Jews were treated quite well as they provided services which were necessary or the community was in a period where there was wealth and things were quite good, and when things were less wonderful, the Jews were treated less wonderfully. Whenever either the Christians or the Muslims entered a more fanatical or religiously fevered period, then the Jews could expect to face major difficulties. These rejections have had their greatest effect since the start of World War II in Europe and the aftermath in the Islamic World.

Europe murdered six million Jews amongst the nearly thirteen million murdered in the Concentration Camps and through simple executions in the field where in many Polish towns the Nazis simply marched the Jews out of town a distance into the surrounding forest, had the Jews dig a fairly large ditch and then shot them pushing the bodies into the ditch. Under Islam the form of killing the Jews was usually beheading as this was the method the Prophet Muhammad used when he beheaded around nine-hundred men, women and children but mostly men of the Qurayza Tribe of Jews. Thus, when the Muslims decided that the Jews required to be taught lessons, they would behead a selected group, often largely from the leadership, this would make the replacement leadership far more pliable as they realized the threat and acted cautiously. This meant that in Europe the Jews often fled from one nation where things had turned against them to another where treatment was better. Under the Muslims, moving would not often be an option as your tribe often had roots which predated the conquest by Islam and moving just did not appeal as you were either ruled by the Caliphate to the Ottoman Empire wherever you were located, thus the treatment was relatively consistent. The misconception that the Jews were treated horribly in Europe and gloriously by the Muslims is a false history as both the Christians and the Muslims believed that the Jews were a form of evil people who had betrayed Hashem and had been replaced as the Chosen People; in Europe the Christians were the replacement and in the Islamic world Islam had replaced the Jews.

After World War II, many Jews learned that returning to their previous homes and towns would often result in their being murdered by their former townsfolk because after they were removed by the Nazis, some of the townsfolk had taken their home and others their workplaces and they no longer had a place in their former home towns. This was why so many Jews ended up in relocation camps, sometimes these camps were the same camps used by the Nazis. The British, through simply falling to Arab demands, as the Arabs could cause far more trouble than the Jews could being there were more Arabs than Jews in what would become Israel, limited Jewish immigration to what was to become Israel and kept the vast majority in the camps back in Europe and on Cyprus. After Israel declared her independence, then the European Jews were freed to immigrate, which they did, coming into a war zone where there were six Arab armies plus militias attempting to destroy Israel in her cradle. The Arabs succeeded in taking land from what was promised to become the Jewish State with Egypt holding Gaza and Jordan holding parts of the Shomron which they renamed West Bank and forced numbers of Jordanians to relocate into these illegally held lands; those were the original setters, Jordanian Arabs forcibly relocated to prevent Jews from their lands. After the initial war of 1948-9 finally ended, then came the second wave of Jews in a steady stream from the Arab and Muslim world as the nations of MENA forced their Jews from their homes and with almost all of them having nowhere to go as the world still refused to take in Jews, the vast majority made their way to Israel and they were taken in and accepted into Israeli society, all eight-hundred-thousand plus of them. This made Israel a true mix of the Jews from both the Christian world in Europe and the Muslim world of the MENA states. This gave Israel an almost equal balance between the two main regions of Jewish society. So, that was the framework which gave birth to Israel. There have been a number of wars and conflicts forced upon Israel and Israel has saved the world from facing Saddam Hussein with nuclear weapons and Bashir al-Assad from having nuclear weapons. Now there are those claiming that Israel will prevent Iran from getting nuclear weapons; so the world need not worry about them. What if it is already too late?

President Trump, have you ever heard of the Khartoum Resolution? It was the declaration of the “Three No’s:” “no peace with Israel, no recognition of Israel, no negotiations with Israel.” About the only thing they left out was their reasoning; they believed that the world would eventually simply destroy Israel by some means for them, thus their dream of “No Israel.” That is the only solution that the Arab and much of the Muslim worlds will accept, the complete and total destruction of the Jewish State and no replacement or alternate location, the Jews must be brought low again. This is their single demand and unless that is included in the deal, then there can be no deal. It is that simple President Trump, if you want a deal, then simply destroy Israel and get the Jews to accept their inferiority and subjection to Islam and then things will work out just fine. No Israel will soon mean no Jews and that would fit their natural order of the way the world should be. Of course their demands do not end with the Jews, oh no! Their Quran and the Hadiths tell them how they are the chosen by Allah to rule the entire world and that all will bow to Allah. There can be no other result according to their holy books and what their Imams teach them. Islam will rule the world and there will be a single form of Islam accepted around the world. Of course, which version of Islam will prove to be the only one in the world had not yet been decided, and this conflict is killing more Muslims around the world than Israel could ever kill. The number one groups of people killing the believers of Islam are other believers of Islam. As you well know, Mr. President, there are forces of Muslims prepared to murder hundreds of thousands of other Muslims in Syria as this is being posted without a single Jews involved what-so-ever. Yet, the lie the Islamic faithful keep trying to infuse into the world is if only Israel was erased and the Jews all subjugated, then the entirety of the Middle East and North Africa would be at peace. This is as far from the reality as one can get. The Muslims have been killing Muslims almost forever as stated by T. E. Lawrence (aka Lawrence of Arabia) “Sherif Ali, so long as the Arabs fight tribe against tribe, so long will they be a little people, a silly people, greedy, barbarous, and cruel as you are.” Their refusal to accept the existence of a Jewish nation is just as much about their injured pride in losing conflict after conflict with Israel and being unable to destroy this obviously inferior nation of nonbelievers is simply another version of what Lawrence saw as their largest challenge. As the old saying goes, some things just never change. As long as the Arab and Muslim world see everything as an absolute and that only their maximalist demands are rational and all else is against the will of Allah, then there will be no peace. The problem is with Israel in the Arab mind and that problem is that Israel exists and remains the Jewish State. As might be stated in an old movie, if only it was something other than the Jewish State, the problem is actually that it is not a Muslim state and specifically, and Arab Muslim State as that is the perfect desire of Allah. So, President Trump, whatever your plan which you expect to unfurl and have it receive applause all around, that is not possible as long as your plan does not address their biggest problem, the existence of Israel as the Jewish State. So, how will your ‘Deal of the Century’ get around the, make Israel disappear, demand from Abbas as well as Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and all the rest? Even if the Jews were placed in a starship and it was reported ten years hence that they had found and were colonizing a planet around Alpha Centauri Group, there would be an Imam somewhere who would claim that Allah had granted the Muslims with the right to that planet and would demand that the United Nations remove them so the true owners, the Centaurian Muslims, could be taken there to settle their rightful home-world and as thanks to the Jews for finding their long lost world, well, they can serve as the original Dhimmi class in that world. This is the kind of fanaticism which you are facing, President Trump, and we do not envy your task. Perhaps this will serve as the task too far of all your campaign claims and promises, and nobody should hold the lack of a workable peace for Israel and her neighbors; we are sure you are going to give it your best shot and even when it fails, we can ask nothing more. We only hope you will not make the mistake of demanding that Israel sacrifice even more for nothing in return. We have played that game a few too many times. We should have learned immediately after the Oslo Accords, or at Madrid or Camp David or Paris or after Ehud Barak gave Arafat everything he told President Clinton was necessary and then Arafat walked out, or after Ehud Olmert offered another unbelievable deal which we told Israelis not to worry, the Arabs will refuse the deal as they did as it left Israel standing, though barely. The Arabs will only accept Israel destroyed, and the United States is not yet ready to do that, and that is why there cannot be any peace. The problem is all Israel because she demands to exist and the Arabs refuse to take that as part of any solution.

The Israel Saving Reality

Israel has been fortunate that the Palestinians have had chosen leadership of Yasser Arafat and Mahmoud Abbas. These two had so much in common that the main difference between them is that one wore fatigues, a keffiyeh topped off with a sidearm while the latter wears a Brooks Brothers suit with a tie and Florsheim lace-up smooth toe shoes. They both were speaking the same exclusionary story which demands that they must win and win completely and the Jews must be extinguished from this Earth. Their radicalist demands being completely undebatable and unalterable in any way whatsoever has led them down the road of failure after failure. Their demand which was part of the founding of the entire Palestinian invented movement when the PLO (Palestinian Liberation Organization) was founded in concert with much effort from the KGB working with the Arab League in a short series of meetings. According to Wikipedia, “At its first summit meeting in Cairo in 1964, the Arab League initiated the creation of an organization representing the Palestinian people. The Palestinian National Council convened in Jerusalem on 28 May 1964. Concluding this meeting, the PLO was founded on 2 June 1964. Its stated goal was the ‘liberation of Palestine’ through armed struggle.” Before this meeting, when anybody referred to the Palestinians they were referring to the Jews and this reference was intentionally chosen in order to co-opt the entirety of the history of the Jews in the modern era from the end of World War I and the initiation of the Mandate System, specifically the British Mandate. The founding of the PLO came when Jordan held the Shomron (West Bank) and thus was not in need of liberation. Their initial concern was to erase Israel and then join these lands onto Jordan and had no desire to form a new Arab nation.

This is where everything usually loses people but is really easy. First thing is that Jordan held these lands illegally and when they annexed it only the British and Pakistan recognized this move, not even the other Arab nations were willing to go out on that tenuous limb which had no legal footing under International Law as these lands were taken in an offensive war. What nobody likes to remember is that in 1948 on the first morning when Israel came into existence with its legal eastern border which was defined by the Jordan River, six Arab national militaries descended upon Israel supported by numerous contingencies and militias with the intent of genocidal slaughter of the Jewish State, or as they call it, the Zionist Entity. The war’s Arab intent was best described by Azzam Pasha, Secretary-General of the Arab League as follows: “It will be a war of annihilation. It will be a momentous massacre in history that will be talked about like the massacres of the Mongols or the Crusades.” Obviously, as Israel still exists, something went terrible wrong with the Arab plans. Still, despite the world teaching everyone that the Jews won their War of Independence, the reality is that Israel survived the First Arab War of Annihilation but lost the regions of Gaza and the Shomron. Egypt held Gaza and Jordan held the Shomron, and Jordan had gone further in breaking International Laws by expelling every Jew from their held territories, forced numerous Jordanians to relocate into the regions to further cement their ownership and finally granted the Arabs who remained after the Jews were expelled were with Jordanian citizenship, the sole act which has any truth and reality is legal under International Law. Any nation may grant any group of people citizenship as they please even if they reside in a completely separate nation, say like Czechoslovakia having their northern regions granted German citizenship and the region named the “Sudetenland,” forcing an emergency meeting of Britain, France and the Nazis to meet in Munich and give Hitler the region he claimed due to the German citizens all of northern Czechoslovakia in order to ensure Peace in Our Time yet somehow did not avoid, but aided, the start of World War II. Jordan had a model for them to use to weaken Israel by using this identical method. So, in 1949 Jordan illegally annexed the Shomron from Israeli land redrawing the border, then in 1964 the Palestinian people and the myth of Palestine was invented which the Jews presumably destroyed in 1948 and which was to be liberated and then rejoined with Jordan as the land of Palestine was part of Jordanian lands. Jordan was supposed to be given the entire of the British Mandate including the side named Palestine, which was the region the British intended for the Jewish State and they used the Roman term of Palestine (see map below). This was the jewel in their chosen name for the Arab people who in 1964 claimed to have been pushed from the region which was now Israel. This was the reasoning as to why they needed to liberate all of Israel from the Jews so the Palestinian refugees could return home, refugees caused largely by the Mufti of Jerusalem insistence that all Arabs leave Israel to make slaughtering the Jews easier as they would be anybody remaining in Israel. This caused many tens of thousands of Arabs to leave their homes and hide behind the soon to be conquering Arab armies in order to share in the bounty to be taken from the Jews. Their Arab brothers rewarded these obedient Arabs after they failed to destroy Israel by placing them into camps where their offspring still reside today waiting for the final conquest of Israel. These refugees are now the new army of Arabs who will destroy Israel through sheer numbers as should they ever be granted return, these Arabs alone would become the largest political entity in Israel and would win any election making Israel into another Arab state. This is the entirety of the refugee claim.

So, in 1964 the PLO was designated to liberate the region of land which had been Jordanian and where the Palestinian people who lived in Jordan had been conquered by those Jews in 1948-9 though from where had the Jews invaded is the big question and how they defeated these lands from Jordan is another, when the reality of history was that Egypt, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Iraq and Jordan invaded the existing Jewish state of Israel which existed with their declaration of independence from British ownership and rule as the British were departing. Then something changed in 1967 during the Six Day War, initiated by Egypt by blocking Israeli access through the Red Sea by closing the port of Eilat at the Straits of Tiran, which was identified as a casus belli, as the border changed causing the demands to be altered. When Israel responded, Syria joined Egypt in the war immediately and both Egyptian and Syrian radio reports were telling of their terrific victories over these pathetic Jews who were terrible fighters and were in retreat and losing badly. King Hussein of Jordan heard that these two Arab armies were closing in on Tel Aviv and he wanted his slice of the Jewish State. The Israelis informed King Hussein that the reports were false and that the Israelis were utterly destroying the armies of Egypt and Syria and all but begged him not to join this effort if he wished not to suffer defeat. King Hussein believed his Arab friends and attacked Israel well into the first day of fighting causing Israel to redirect a relief column which was supposed to relieve the troops advancing on the Suez Canal and turned them right to head eastward and face the Jordanian advance. The Jordanians were forced back across the Jordan River and the Israeli troops stopped at that point. The Israeli forces also stopped at the Suez Canal and along the eastern facing edge of the Golan Heights. Does anyone notice the similar reasoning for why the Israelis stopped their advances in 1967? Each one is a defensible position placing a body of water or on the downward facing slope of the highest points of a mountain range. This caused a real problem for the PLO as even if they were to liberate the region which made up Israel minus the Shomron, the regions they specifically stated they had no claim against, then the Jewish State would be surrounded but would still exist. So, there was an adaptation in the works.

Now the PLO claimed that the Jews conquered Palestine in 1967 and they demand their state back in the Shomron. The world simply altered their belief systems to accommodate the new PLO strategy to eradicate the Jewish State, now in stages, just as they claimed was their intent. They have never stated that once they get their claimed country that their demands will end. They learned well from the start of World War II where you claim a region which removes a natural boundary such as the mountains in central Czechoslovakia or build a basic region in the heart of Israel leaving a small nine-mile-belt between your newly given lands and the Mediterranean Sea cutting Israel in half. Destroy Israel in stages, that became the new Palestinian proposed means for the destruction of Israel, stages. They no longer demand merger with Jordan though they did attempt to take over Jordan from September 16 through 27, 1970, which failed sending the PLO to Lebanon where they started a civil war which Israel responded to pleas from the Lebanese Christians and joined the conflict aiding Lebanon. When Israel was about to enter Beirut and capture Yasser Arafat and the PLO leadership when the United States intervened and salvaged the PLO leadership taking them to Tunisia. The remaining PLO was the root which became Hezballah which is the Shia version of the PLO at its inception with the destruction of Israel as its reason for being. Hezballah has since been taken control of by Iran and is assisting in Syria and Yemen.

The one item which never changed was that the PLO would only accept a solution in which they completely replaced Israel. They are aware that even if they were given all of the lands which Jordan and Egypt lost from within the true borders of Israel, Gaza and the Shomron, that would simply reset the pre-Six Day War borders from which the current argument started because they lost that war and the ensuing 1973 Yom Kippur surprise attack which was the best opportunity ever to destroy Israel and began with great victories but once Israel mobilized, the end was inevitable. So, the PLO leadership has set as their minimum acceptable agreement as the eradication of Israel as other methods have proven rather unsuccessful. This has led to the insufferable situation where Israel insists on continuing on even after a peace has been reached. Arab leadership believes that this is simply Jewish stubborn attitude which blocks reaching a peace. If only the Jews would permit themselves to be ruled by their Arab betters, then there could be peace. Jews have lived under the Arabs and what they call peace usually turns dark real soon. Half of the Israeli populations of Jews are from Arab nations where they were either forced from the land under threat of force or were stripped of their belongings and wealth and booted from their nation where some of these families had resided in since before Christianity or soon thereafter. So, Israel will never surrender completely to the PLO or anyone else as we have returned to our ancestral homeland to stay. That is the insufferable dilemma, the Jews refuse to unconditionally and completely surrender and the Arabs will not accept anything less. Yasser Arafat and Mahmoud Abbas have refused every proposed solution and have never altered their set and original desires from 1964 founding, the complete destruction of the state of Israel. This is why every attempt to mitigate the differences between the two sides, one which insists that they continue to exist and the other which demands to replace the existing one. There is no middle ground in the Arab (Palestinian) demand for the complete and total destruction of the Jewish State, the Zionist Entity, Israel. They still demand their right to have what they were denied in 1948-9 and described by Azzam Pasha, Secretary-General of the Arab League at that time, “It will be a war of annihilation. It will be a momentous massacre in history that will be talked about like the massacres of the Mongols or the Crusades.” (We quoted this above.) Thus, Arafat and Abbas have refused every offer which fell short of the above quote becoming historical fact, and should the Arabs ever succeed, it will be recorded as such in the history of the human race.

Arafat was and Abbas is currently the saving reality of Israel as they have prevented us giving away the central heartlands of our ancestral home. Read the Jewish Bible and read about the conquests of Joshua and the ensuing wars we had against attackers and you will notice something remarkable, we did not fight many battles on flat grounds, we fought our enemies in the Judean Hills. Why would this be almost the rule and not the exception? The Israelites, the early Jews, had effective light infantry, a fairly efficient heavy infantry, bowmen and slingers. Israel did not often have cavalry and when they did, it was often light cavalry. Israel did not have chariots and all that goes with them. This is why they took the fight into the Judean Hills where chariots do not function well and light forces being more maneuverable have a great advantage. Most of our enemies believed in heavily armored troops of heavy infantry and cavalry and chariots, they all loved their chariots. So, Israel fought where they had the advantage and also as they knew these hills like the back of their hands, they knew where one could ambush their enemies and thus gain an additional advantage. These are the regions which the Arabs claim they desire and nothing more. Yet another item they refuse to accept is that any peace must mean an end to hostilities and an end to terror attacks. Arafat and Abbas both refuse to agree to an end to all forms of hostility even when they are already refusing to accept Israel continuing to exist. Abbas is the current Israeli guarantee that there will never be an agreement acceptable to the Arabs. We recently read almost as soon as there was a rumor that President Trump was going to propose a confederation between the Palestinians and Jordan that Jordan rejects the idea of the establishment of a confederation between the Palestinians and Jordan. Jumana Ghunaimat, a spokeswoman for the Jordanian government, said, “A confederation between Jordan and Palestine is not up for discussion.” She added that Jordan’s position on the issue is based on a two-state solution and the establishment of a Palestinian state on the pre-1967 borders with eastern Jerusalem as its capital. This, as we have seen in the past, is unacceptable to the PLO and all its offshoots, the Palestinian Authority (PA) included. After all, what is the PA if not the rebranding of the PLO terrorist group into a respectable peace partner, a transition which took effect overnight without even the slightest alteration of the leadership. Their attitudes also remained unchanged, as they still demand the extinction of Israel and its Jews, the world simply ignores that uncomfortable fact and demands Israel close her eyes as well. One of which came more as a warning than as a soft approach.

Recently, the peace plan to be proposed by President Trump to finally and completely be the solution to the Arab-Israel, Palestinian-Israeli, conflict, and the two are identical, was commented upon by some people of note including specifically President Trump’s unstated foreign policy announcer of coming attractions, United States Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley stating, “I have read the plan. It is thoroughly done, it is well thought out, from both sides, the Palestinians and the Israelis. It takes into account every aspect of everything.” She added, “This is a plan that is going to be put forward that both sides have to be willing to hear. If they are both willing to hear it, I think that this could be a solution for the region. I think it could be a solution for both Palestinians and Israelis, and I think it would be a solution and a testament to what can happen when two sides come together in the name of helping their people.” This almost sounds like a warning that refusing the advancing of this solution will come with consequences, something which has never been the reality. In the past, Israel has been demanded to give and give and understand while the PA has never met any consequences until recently when President Trump began playing the game completely differently with the moving of the United States embassy and the defunding of UNRWA. Israel does not need to worry too much about the ‘Deal of the Century’ which is the name of President Trump’s coming Middle East Peace proposal. Whatever President Trump has decided to propose will very likely fall short of the destruction of Israel and the granting of the remnants to the Arabs who call themselves Palestinian Arabs, because Israel has a secret weapon named Mahmoud Abbas who won’t like it, he hates everything. Thus, it has been and thus it shall continue to be, because Abbas is incapable of change.

When Abbas is gone, the following situation will rapidly make the situation even more dire. Abbas has not set a protégé who will be heir apparent which is going to result in a battle between likely multiple contenders. We can already tell you who will win this contest and you will laugh and claim we are crazy because Israel and the United States will not permit such. Well, Israel will be forced by the United Nations, the European Union and numerous other forces of our fair planet, or should we say pretty as fair might be taken as equal treatment, nothing of which could have been further from reality, to remove all IDF from Areas A and B which have been the Abbas insurance policy keeping the transfer of power from striking while he rules. Abbas is the one who grants the IDF and Mossad to operate in these Palestinian areas because they prevent his death. Once he is gone, every new Arab leader will try to outdo the others by demanding that all Israeli forces leave their lands. Israel will be made to comply despite the warnings, the same warnings as accompanied the Gaza surrender. Once Abbas dies or retires with his many hundreds of billions of Euros, the next rulers of the Arab regions of the Shomron will be Hamas leader Yayha Sinwar. Without the IDF and Israeli intelligence groups, Hamas will infiltrate using Iranian assistance and take over the PA. The only question is whether they will rename the PA or leave it as a cover, a disguise, placing a trusted person to be their puppet while Hamas builds up rocket and missile provisions in the Shomron with which to wage a future war. With Hamas on both sides, it will not be a very long period before Israel will be required to intervene and retake the Shomron and potentially also Gaza. This will be a necessary war in which the Arabs, all the Arabs, will need to be removed and pushed across the final borders. The final borders will be the original borders, the Negev-Israel border and the Jordan River in the east. This will be the eventual end of the intractable Arab-Israeli conflict one way or the other. Israel will tell the rest of the Arab world that as long as Israel is not threatened, there will be absolutely no further actions from Israel. They will task the Arab world with assuring that terrorists do not attack across the Israeli border. Israel will offer their neighbors assistance should they desire ending the threats of terrorism and other criminal activity. The Arab world should desire a true and real peace with benefits in a relationship with Israel and finally end educating their people, specifically their children, with lessons of hatred towards the Jews and Israel. The first item that Israel can offer is assistance in water purification including desalinization as well as agricultural developments which make growing plants in arid regions more efficient. Add the medical knowledge and economic development which would be made available, peace would be beneficial and lead to a better life for their people and thus a happier and more prosperous country. The alternative is simply more of the same. It is this ability to demand more of the same which has perplexed all attempts to end the Arab-Israeli conflict. That is the frightening reality which Israel and the world face as Iranian and Arab beliefs that Islam is rising and their final push to conquer the entirety of the globe is near at hand. Their sole argument is which version of Islam, Shiite or Sunni, will be the triumphant world rulers by the end of this century.
