Iran Edging Towards War with the World

The ramping is about to begin for earnest. In recent reports we find that, “Iranian President Hassan Rouhani issued an ultimatum Wednesday to the remaining signatories of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), better known as the Iran nuclear deal, vowing to end all limitations on uranium enrichment if its demands are not met.” In related reports we find that the, “Islamic Republic had quadrupled its enrichment rate of low-enrichment uranium,” as well as that according to an unnamed source said who was quoted by Fars, “As the commission meeting in Vienna could not satisfy Iran’s just demands … Iran is determined to cut it commitments to the deal and the 300 kg enriched uranium limit will be soon breached.” We have our own opinions about the Iranian nuclear program, you know, the program which under the JCPOA they would monitor themselves, report to the United Nations and then the two could work together with assistance from the European Union to allow Iran to do as they please, manufacture nuclear weapons both in warheads and payloads for their several forms of delivery all while not breaking a stretched and warped JCPOA which will end up being even more porous than the original, the one President Trump withdrew from as it had insufficient restrictions and allowed Iran complete ability to become a nuclear armed nation within the decade. So, what to expect without getting lost in the minutia as that is what will be discussed, covered by the media and used as a distraction while Iran continues to arm herself.

Iran already had rudimentary nuclear devices which would serve as guidelines from where they could develop more powerful weapons and miniaturize them such that they would be deliverable atop their numerous ballistic missiles and especially atop their ICBM which has been in development for at least a decade. There are numerous different ballistic missiles which Iran manufactures (Pictured below). The ranges given are assuming a near maximum payload and can be increased by reducing the payload. That is why the miniaturization becomes so important, you get greater deliverable yields per pound or kilo and thus instead of their Simorgh missile being restricted to a range of 4000 to 6000 km, by decreasing the payload by 33% and the range increases to approximately 5500 to 8000 km which begins to bring some coastal areas of the United States within range from Tehran. Even fully loaded, that missile can readily strike every European capital city with ease. Add in the other means that Iran has proven to be capable of deploying, such as firing ballistic missiles from cargo-container ships which brings all but remote parts of Siberia within range as even the Shahab-3 has been fired from a cargo ship stationed in the Caspian Sea test firing over the western mountains of Iran striking a firing range in the southern end of the range in the high desert. These tests were fortunately caught and the trajectory tracked by surveillance satellites. Needless to comment, but a nuclear armed Iran places every capital city and most major metropolitan areas in the Western world and beyond within range of either their ground-based missiles or their cargo-container ship fired missiles making almost nobody safe from an Iranian threat carried out. This knowledge should be part of any calculations made concerning Iran.

This leads to the most vital question; would Iran initiate the use of nuclear weapons. One comment may provide an inside look at the Iranian outlook if war should break out. A senior Iranian parliamentarian threatened on Monday that Israel will be destroyed in half an hour if the United States attacks Iran, the semi-official Iranian Mehr news agency reported, according to this source. So, Iran is willing to provoke a war with the United States and should the United States respond, they would attack Israel, a nation which is not a party to the conflict to that point. And there is more hidden in this threat to provoke widening any conflict by attacking the Jewish State. Iran would certainly attempt to utilize any response from Israel as a reason for the Islamic world to come to their aid in this jihad now about to be waged on Israel as well as the United States. But even this is not the end of what is intimated in this threat, and that will answer our question about Iran using nuclear weapons when initiating a conflict. The same source also reports that Mojtaba Zonnour, Chairman of Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, made the remarks in an interview with the Al-Alam TV network stating, “If the US attacks us, only half an hour will remain of Israel’s lifespan.” We also should remember that other Iranian officials have referred to Israel as a one or two bomb country inferring that with as few as two bombs, Israel could be, for all intents and purposes, destroyed as a nation leaving little of her population and infrastructure. Now, we know Israel is a rather small nation, about the size and shape of New Jersey, but it would take numerous salvos of conventional explosives in order to destroy Israel. On the other hand, with a nuclear weapon were to be dropped at the southern end of the Tel Aviv metropolitan region and another between Tel Aviv and Haifa, then a goodly part of Israel would face ruination. The next question would be whether or not Iran would bomb Jerusalem, the second largest and populous city, as this too would be necessary if Israel were to actually be destroyed. Still, to destroy Israel in such a manner, the only means would be to use nuclear weapons. These leads us to believe that Iranian leadership has little compunction about using nuclear weapons, and this should trouble everybody.

Thus far open warfare has been avoided, not that it has not come very close. There were the oil tankers which were attacked with mines and other means in the area around the Straits of Hormuz which did not bring any response from the United States. They could rightfully claim that they did not have conclusive evidence that the Iranians were involved. Then came the downing of the United States reconnaissance drone which was purportedly in international air space which was tied directly to Iran. President Trump initiated a response only to call off the strike and order the aircraft back to their stations on the aircraft carriers in the Arabian Sea. There have been numerous discussions as to whether this made President Trump appear prudent or was a sign of weakness. Whichever appeals to you, it makes little difference until somebody acts upon such suppositions. Should Iran interpret their not being hit and the strike being called back and believe the United States is fearful of any war with Iran, then there is going to be a problem. From what we have read and feel, Iran will continue pushing until there does come a response from the United States and then they will run to the European Union and the United Nations screaming ‘Foul!’ At this point, the world will begin to take sides in this coming disaster. The initial breakdown will be evidenced by the General Assembly vote as to whether they back the Iranian complaint or side with the United States and their claims of Iranian provocations. Then things will develop as the United States, or at least President Trump, will insist on backing from the rest of NATO. We can pretty much guarantee that Turkey will claim that they are too involved in containing the Syrian violence to spare any forces. Of course, that is simply their excuse, the reality is that Turkey is no longer a supportive member of NATO and has decided to go along with the Islamic world and their eternal struggle against the nonbelievers.

The most frightening thing has also been commentary from Iranian leaders over the years who have stated things such as, “If the US attacks us, only half an hour will remain of Israel’s lifespan,” plus referring to the recall by President Trump of the strike force, “If they (the Americans) had predicted their attack would be successful, they would not have cancelled it and it would definitely have happened,” and lastly, the Supreme Leader has stated in the past that he would sacrifice Iran if it was required in order to destroy Israel. Once again, we have the immediate result of an Iranian first strike on Israel would destroy the nation. This kind of statement is being made with the knowledge that well over half of any initial set of missiles would be intercepted by the series of anti-missile platforms developed by Israel which include David’s Sling and the gamut of Arrow interceptors which are tied into the THAAD interceptor and over-the-horizon detection systems which President Trump ordered set up in Israel to assist with her defense against such attacks. But when Iran threatens to destroy Israel with two bombs, what they intend is they will launch some countable number of missiles, potentially nuclear tipped, and hope to get at least two through the Israeli defenses while Hezballah, Hamas and Islamic Jihad will attempt to launch as many of their over one-hundred-fifty-thousand missiles and rockets in their combined inventory and be counting on such a barrage to destroy Israel. This, too, has been made questionable due to the Israeli Iron Dome interceptors but even they would be pushed beyond breaking point with such a number of targets to down. Perhaps, once such an exchange had taken place between Hezballah in southern Lebanon and southwestern Syria aided by the Iranian IRGC forces in southern Syria probably all coordinated with Hamas and Islamic Jihad largely in Gaza with some potential for problems out of the Shomron areas of the Palestinian Authority, then Iran might launch a second series of missiles hoping that the majority of the Israeli interceptors were destroyed.

The real problem is that we are talking about how Iran would go about destroying Israel, but why would they take on an adversary which might well be willing to utterly destroy at least Tehran and Qom. Why Qom, I hear some ask. Qom is the holy city from whence the Twelfth Imam is said to arise from through some miraculous events as he has been in hiding, presumably in this well in Qom, and he will signal the beginning of Shiite Islam rising and not only becoming the strong horse and the main sect of Islam (it currently represents about 10% of Islam with the Sunni being almost all the remainder) and soon after to ruling the world. The one thing which would be assumed should an attack of missiles be launched against Israel by Iran, namely that it would be a WMD attack of either nuclear topped missiles or warheads carrying chemical agents. Any Israeli response to a WMD attack is well known, Israel will return in kind meaning Israel will use WMDs which means nuclear missiles. The reality is that any actual Iranian missile launch from their areas in Iran, Syria or Iraq would likely be initiated with the launching of likely hundreds of missiles towards Israel. Israel cannot be expected to wait and see how many were intercepted and what were the nature of the ones which detonated within Israel before responding. Israel has about eight to ten minutes to decide whether or not to respond and exactly how Israel will respond if they decide to do so. That does not leave any time for consultations and is the kind of decision which would be laid primarily in the lap of the Prime Minister. With such a time limit before the missiles strike, one need figure that of those eight to ten minutes after detection, five would be required to order, program and launch any response. That leaves time for what would be the toughest four-minute decision in Bibi Netanyahu or any Israeli Prime Minister’s time in office. Fortunately, that decision would never be placed in our hands for the foreseeable future. Israel almost naturally must assume that any Iranian missile launch would be largely made up of WMDs, probably both nuclear and chemical agent warheads would be employed.

Further, Israel is not likely to be their only target launched upon as we can expect many of the Gulf States, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia and potentially even Egypt. Iran has plans for their taking of the Saudi Arabian oil fields along with the Gulf States and Kuwait as well as taking control of Mecca and Medina. They believe that by doing so they will have destroyed the Saudi Royal family and much of the Sunni world’s leadership leaving the Islamic world for the taking. Despite the news coverage stressing everything Israel launched and does militarily while playing down the responses from the Saudis and their allies; President Trump will be blamed for not attacking Iran, attacking Iran too forcefully, attacking Iran too anemically, for using weapons systems which were too expensive when less measures were available, using WMDs, not using WMDs or just about anything else one can imagine. We cannot leave out the howling, wringing of hands, crocodile tears and other news anchor antics should a single United States soldier be injured or, heavens forbid, killed. We are not sure where the concept came that wars can be fought without casualties, but that is a very dangerous concept. The best bet, as the WOPR computer system from the movie “War Games” stated after doing some deep thinking, “Strange Game. The only winning move is not to play.” Well, we pray that nobody decides to initiate this strange game where the only winning move is not starting something which others are assured of completing.

Hamas Rocket Attack a Definite Escalation

Hamas once again provided proof of their intent to destroy Israel one home at a time if necessary. The escalation recently includes two rockets fired at Tel Aviv just over ten days ago. Prime Minister Netanyahu ordered a responsive strike on Hamas and Islamic Jihad targets in Gaza. These strikes by the Israeli Air Force were the usual empty buildings which have been hit before again and again in the name of responding to attacks from Gaza. Some in Israel have begun to refer to these bombings of empty building as the line from the movie Casablanca after Rick shoots the Nazi Commissioner, “Round up the usual suspects.” The bombing of empty buildings has become a farce even within Israel and the reaction of shock by the Europeans reminds us of another scene from Casablanca when it is “discovered” that there is gambling in Ricks bar/casino and the chief gendarme exclaims, “I’m shocked, shocked” and many people like to add “I tell you,” but that is not in the movie. We promise, no more quotes from Casablanca. The rocket attack on Tel Aviv, according to Hamas, was an unfortunate accident and never intended and they plan to conduct an investigation into the firing. This explanation was mostly accepted by spokespeople in Israel, much to everyone’s amazement. That was just over ten days ago, so enjoy the two clips and we will talk about the latest attack afterwards.

This past Sunday, Hamas once again had an unfortunate accident once more, but this time the results were nothing short of a miracle that nobody was killed. This “accidental” rocket firing also went deeply into Israel, close to fifty miles from the Gaza border. The rocket landed in the Sharon region and struck the house of a sixty-year-old woman whose extended family was apparently visiting or live with her. It was reported by Magen David Adom that seven people were injured, the a sixty-year-old woman who is in moderate condition suffered shrapnel wounds and burns, while a thirty-year-old woman who is in moderate condition suffered shrapnel wounds and five people who were lightly injured including two infants. Several others were treated for shock, as often is the case when high explosives detonate within your neighborhood. The house which was struck was completely destroyed and looking at the photos it becomes apparent that it really was a miracle nobody was killed. Below are two pictures taken from this report which contains videos and more pictures for those desiring to see additional footage. The second picture shows a crib which we assume was where the infants were when the house was struck. The excuse that the rockets were fired accidentally, or they were fired without being authorized, neither argument makes those residing in destroyed buildings who survived solely because of a miracle not have grievous injuries or those whose nerves were shattered feel an calmer than if these had been authorized and intentional attacks. The truth of the matter is these were intentional attacks by whomever built the rocket, those who fashioned the explosive warheads, the ones who constructed the launchers and the individuals who launched the rockets all doing their part in an intentional attack intending to murder as many civilians as possible. By allowing such an excuse to basically stand, all that is accomplished is guaranteeing that there will be dozens of “unintended” rockets fired at targets in Israel and then soon there will be hundreds of “accidental” firings of rockets a week and then that number will become daily. Israelis have watched this song and dance before and realize that every rocket is fired with malice aforethought and with the full intent of causing as much harm, death, destruction and shock amongst whatever else these strikes may cause only to increase steadily until Israel responds with force. They also know what comes next.

The entire escalation by Hamas, despite their plaintive excuses, is a response to the lack of Israeli push-back over the border rioting which has been continuous over the past year. Yes, we said continuous over an entire year and showing no sign of letting up. The rocket firings only serve to show that things are about to get out of hand. Last week or so ago, while meeting with Egyptians trying to mediate a cessation of the border hostility, Hamas promised to end the border rioting yet it was while they were meeting that the two rockets were fired at Tel Aviv. There were two other rockets fired at the same time with one heading out into the Mediterranean and the other did not clear Gaza falling inside their area. Hamas convinced the Egyptians that they had nothing to do with the rockets fired as they could not be suspect of firing rockets while meeting with the Egyptian mediators. Who ever thought that this statement had the slightest measure of validity obviously knows little or nothing about Hamas and their terroristic duplicity. Of course they would pick such a time to fire rockets at Tel Aviv knowing that Israel would not respond as long as the Egyptian mediators were meeting inside Gaza. Israel has fallen victim of timidity due to the desire for acceptance by the world. The idea was that as long as the damage caused by the rioting on the border was limited to closely within the border area, then it was tolerable and the powers that be decided that it was not worth responding and getting the European Union (EU), United Nations (UN), numerous anti-Israel NGO’s or those in the United States who desire that Israel not cause them any distress all up in arms about disproportionate responses. This was even more important right before the AIPAC convention where too many still believe that two states for two peoples living side-by-side in peace and security is the proper and viable solution if only the two sides could agree on borders. This would also be important so that when the Israeli Prime Minister and others from Israel spoke, they would be well received and there would be no cause for uncomfortable questions from those who always claim to side with Israel while all-too-often condemning Israeli actions as being disproportional. Let’s discuss this disproportionality utter ridiculousness.

Firstly, in our discussion, let us take a tally of World War II deaths by nation on each side. Looking at the Iraq War which removed Saddam Hussein from power, the allies with the United States suffered less than four-hundred deaths while the dead for the army of Iraq suffered an estimated fifty-thousand to many hundreds of thousands as well as approximately one-hundred-thousand civilian deaths. On the eastern front of World War II the Axis Powers suffered slightly over five-million dead while the Soviet Union suffered just under ten-million killed. World War II on the western front had the Allied Powers suffering three-million dead while the Axis Powers suffered over five-million dead. The War in the Pacific has two sets of casualties which have a very telling story behind them. As far as military deaths are concerned, Japan suffered over two and one half million dead while the Allies suffered four-million plus dead. Civilian deaths tell a horrid story with Japan suffering just over one-million deaths and their victims suffering somewhere over twenty-six-million deaths. One might wonder why such a disproportional difference in the civilian deaths between Japan, who had two entire cities wiped from the map by the two nuclear bombs dropped ending the war, while they inflicted such a horrendous toll against the civilians of the regions they conquered before being defeated. The reason is very simple; the Japanese troops butchered and murdered Chinese civilians in excessively large numbers simply out of their racial hatreds of the Chinese and a form of revenge for the wars fought between the two adversaries over their long histories. The one item which is apparent from these numbers, and are true of every war, one side always suffers more deaths and other casualties than the other side. Throughout history, if one were to plot the deaths of all the wars, it would become apparent that more often than not, the side which loses has the higher casualty numbers than does their victors. In ancient history this is very true as often the side that won the conflict either took the vanquished as slaves or simply slaughtered their adversaries entirely. This made the difference between the two sides far more disproportional. The casualties in war are always going to be disproportional as each side attempts to kill as many of their enemy as possible and by whatever means they have at their disposal. It has only been since the advent of nuclear weaponry that sides in a conflict limited what weapons they used avoiding exchanging in a nuclear Armageddon. There is one foreboding reality which need be of great concern; there has never in all of human history been a weapon invented which did not become the weapon of choice in a future war. Thus far in human history, nuclear weapons have been the exception such that after the two, rather small by todays weapons, nuclear bombs were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, there has not been another nuclear weapon used in any conflict, and allow us to emphasize, Yet!

That yet at the end of the last paragraph should stand as a warning. There are nations now developing or already possessing nuclear weapons which do not fear their use. They know of the devastation and suffering caused by the bombs which were dropped on Japan and they see this as an invitation for placing their enemies on their knees or worse. Iranian military and civilian leaders and spokespeople have often referred to Israel as a one or two bomb nation. Such commentary cannot be referencing any non-nuclear weapons currently existing. This reference can only mean using nuclear weaponry, and Iran is one of those nations who saw what damage was done to Hiroshima and Nagasaki and think of this as an invitation for using nuclear weapons and not a warning against their use. They are not even concerned over any potential Israeli retaliation, even an Israeli nuclear response. The Ayatollah has stated that he would willingly sacrifice all of Iran if doing so would eliminate Israel. This threat should frighten any logical thinking person, but the world simply goes along with the Europeans trading feverishly with Iran because there are Euros to be made and Iran is still flush with dollars provided by the United States as an enticement for Iran to join in a treaty which simply was presumed to push their developing nuclear weapons and building an arsenal by eight to ten years. That was simply kicking the can down the road leaving the threat for the next President or the one after and all but guaranteeing that Iran would be a nuclear-armed nation by the end of the ten years. If you are counting, that would be in about another seven and a half years. We are willing to go beyond these visions of a world which is not going to explode soon and warn that there is but a slim chance that Iran does not already have not only the plans for building nuclear weapons or simply many of the components to build thermonuclear weapons, the really big bombs, or simply the technology to miniaturize nuclear weapons for use in warheads atop ballistic missiles, but that Iran has already built at least fifty thermonuclear warheads and has them ready to be placed atop their ballistic missiles and use them, the question being how they would employ them. Many scenarios have them launching these weapons at Israel which would require their using all or the majority of these warheads if their hope is to pierce the Israeli anti-missile systems. Fortunately Israel has a layered interception set of systems such that these weapons can intercept incoming missiles at different places on their trajectory. The other most favored scenario has the Iranians using one or more weapons as EMP devices over the United States destroying their electrical grid and simultaneously using a nuclear weapon against the American fleet off their shores in the Arabian Sea. We pray that Iran manages to replace their leadership with people far less fanatical and definitely with greater sanity.

As for Hamas, Islamic Jihad and, according to certain estimates, the Islamic State, all of which are presumably operating in Gaza, should they continue to allow rockets to be fired into Israel, even willy nilly, as they would like Israeli leaders to believe, their will be a point where Israel will provide an excellent example of disproportional casualties. Israel is one of the few, if not only, nations to have ever gone Biblical on their enemies. The Israeli people are growing tired of the menace in the south and equally anxious over the enemies in Lebanon and Syria all, like Hamas, Islamic Jihad and friends, under the control of Iran and doing the bidding of the Mullahs. Hamas and friends need to know that there are a growing number of Israelis who do not care or even concern themselves in the slightest as to what the EU, UN, NGO’s and the rest of the world’s busybodies think or might say when Israel defends herself. Should Israel continue to be pushed and threatened, the reaction at some point will be intended to be highly disproportional and they will not care. In Israel, we look at these threats as real intents to destroy our little piece of Heaven on Earth and this does not please us in the slightest. We do not desire to have war under almost any circumstances, but when there are those who are making a real effort to destroy your nation and kill almost everybody residing within your borders, please do not tell us not to take it personally. Such a request is well beyond its use-by date as it applied way back in the 1960’s and even the 1970’s but does not make sense for the world as it is today. Europe may be on the verge of committing suicide by immigration and the United States has many who appear to be emerging from the dark side, but we in Israel simply wish to help those we can, live and share with those who wish to do so, and for those who wish us dead, well two can play that game and you really do not want to go there. Live with us in peace and it will result in a mutual advantage in which we will share what we discover in the many various fields in which Israel has endeavors. But desire to destroy us and then we will have a problem which will not end well, yes, potentially mutually not end well, but we can guarantee that it will not end well for our opponents. Simply look at history and the empires and nations which desired the destruction of the Jewish People, the destruction of Israel, and where are they today. Allow us to list just a few of them from across history and perhaps you will get an idea of what the future holds for those bent on our destruction. These former entities which believed they would wipe us from the face of the Earth and make us at most a footnote in history consist of Pharaohs’ Egypt, Philistines, Assyrian Empire, Babylonian Empire, Persian Empire, Greek Empire, Roman Empire (and they gave it their best just as they had the Carthaginians), Byzantine Empire, Caliphate, Ottoman Empire, Spanish Inquisition, Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union. This list has some of the former greats of history, but they are former greats and we are still here and making great strides as we have throughout history. Perhaps Mark Twain (Samuel Clemens) defined the Jews best and more succinctly than anybody else with his essay “Concerning the Jew,” which we will sign off with it below.

Concerning the Jew

“If the statistics are right, the Jews constitute but one percent of the human race. It suggests a nebulous dim puff of star dust lost in the blaze of the Milky Way. Properly the Jew ought hardly to be heard of, but he is heard of, has always been heard of. He is as prominent on the planet as any other people, and his commercial importance is extravagantly out of proportion to the smallness of his bulk. His contributions to the world’s list of great names in literature, science, art, music, finance, medicine, and abstruse learning are also away out of proportion to the weakness of his numbers. He has made a marvellous fight in the world, in all the ages; and has done it with his hands tied behind him. He could be vain of himself, and be excused for it. The Egyptian, the Babylonian, and the Persian rose, filled the planet with sound and splendor, then faded to dream-stuff and passed away; the Greek and the Roman followed, and made a vast noise, and they are gone; other peoples have sprung up and held their torch high for a time, but it burned out, and they sit in twilight now, or have vanished. The Jew saw them all, beat them all, and is now what he always was, exhibiting no decadence, no infirmities of age, no weakening of his parts, no slowing of his energies, no dulling of his alert and aggressive mind. All things are mortal but the Jew; all other forces pass, but he remains. What is the secret of his immortality?”

Let Them Kill Jews

The absolute venomous loathing displayed once more by the United Nations General Assembly, a representative majority of the world’s nations, has again come to the fore in their voting not to sanction the offensive actions launching rockets into Israel by Hamas in the recent violence. The resolution went further than simply Hamas rocket attacks on Israel, including its digging of terror tunnels, and launching of incendiary balloons at Israeli communities destroying thousands of acres of farmlands, forest and protected wilderness preserves in the Gaza envelope. The ninety of nations choosing to stand in disgrace was the result of fifty-seven countries voted against the resolution, and thirty-three countries abstained. This would be the final vote with the United States represented by Nikki Haley who stated emphatically before the vote in a final plea for the General Assembly to do as it had never done before, level charges against those who terrorists who would attack Israeli civilians and use its own people as human shields. This resolution was not so strong as to attempt to take on such charges, it simple wished to condemn the rockets, the incendiary balloons and kites as well as the border rioting.

She stated directing the weakness of the world in this area by stating. “the question before us now is whether the UN considers terrorism is acceptable if it’s directed at Israel. Is the hatred of Israel so strong that you will defend a terrorist organization, one that is harming the Palestinian people? Isn’t it time to let that go? For the sake of peace and the sake of this institution I respectfully urge my colleagues to this resolution.”

The closest thing ever reputed to be said which makes it one-tenth the way to being as callous as this vote was Queen of France Marie Antoinette stating, “Let them eat cake.” Here the General Assembly stated just as callously, “Let them kill Jews.” This is far from the first time that the General Assembly has done such perfidy. It is not even the most recent even rating such a horrific view as they more than outdid themselves in their recent hate-fest in their annual International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People. This is simply another of the annual events held regularly by the United Nations and its affiliated agencies in order to vilify, revile, assail, defame, berate and in other ways excuse any and all hatred of Israel and by association, all Jews. The test case for much of this was the Durban I conference which had the noble title of “World Conference against Racism, Racial Discrimination, Xenophobia and Related Intolerance.” The result of this grandly titled confab was a few days of purely hateful bile being regurgitated in the most caustic manner one could conjure in order to express the contemptable detestations they had or had heard about concerning the dastardly deeds which were intolerably conducted by Israel. The reason the reports only lasted a few days was due to even the Western media departing knowing there would be nothing of more to report, this was especially true as the United States and Canada had followed Israel in departing the conference declaring it an unfortunate waste of their time and so sorry what might have been a productive forum to discuss the world and some of its disparities and other ills was instead hijacked by some of the worst transgressors of human rights in order to castigate and defame Israel as the root of any and all ills which have ever befallen mankind. The Durban Conferences have continued to bill themselves as the protector of the rights of the downtrodden and those without a voice while continuing to allow those with very loud voices to continue to defame a nation which speaks softly and allows her actions to speak for her. But this latest vote was one for the books. When it becomes impossible to condemn an internationally recognized terrorist group which weaponizes their own civilians using their deaths as a means of attacking their object of hatred and thus condoning, with the world’s apparent blessings, placing their children and mothers in the line of fire, inviting youth to admire their rocket launchers during conflicts, chaining women to the roofs of buildings vital to their operations, placing their central command bunker in the basement of a large hospital and so many other obvious contrivances to force their despised neighboring nation to risk international condemnation whenever they return fire or target legitimate military targets, then it should become obvious that the United Nations General Assembly has lost virtually every drop of validity in their assumptions of determining right from wrong or being capable of directing their accusations accurately at those who are criminally intent at disregarding the rules of law and civility versus those who portray the highest standards of integrity during engaging hostile forces who do more to entrap them in appearances of breaking the rules of law than in protecting their own people.

Today, having the General Assembly applaud your actions one need only choose their enemy correctly and then anything they do in the cause of destroying their target will be blessed as actions above and beyond all that could be expected of a fighting force while their targets will be reviled as the cruelest and most dastardly people whose choices on the battlefield make the Mongols appear to have been the most benign forces of history. The means for attaining such a protected status comes from attacking the United States or her allies as the second best guarantor, or attacking Israel which gives one gold-star first-rate treatment as forces for the betterment of mankind and for making the world safe for little children. This status will ignore your actions in all other things and provide you cover for such practices as throwing people whose sexual practices of which your guiding book disapproves off of tall buildings, shooting your political opponents in the street without trials, refusing to return the corpses of your enemy unless they release thousands of terrorist prisoners, honor killing of women family members accused of inappropriate behavior (merely accused without proof), vehicular assaults, suicide murdering bombings and standing for the genocidal murder of the entirety of the Jewish People. At the very least, this is also a description of Hamas which the General Assembly just refused to condemn for their policy of assaults on Israel which began towards the end of March of 2018 and continued up through the recent rocket barrage of over four-hundred-sixty rockets in one day and whose violence has returned to the “benign level” of incendiary kites and balloons, assaults on the border fence, explosive devices used to attempt breachings in the border fence, shooting at IDF soldiers, burning thousands of tires to worsen air quality across the border and other forms of aggressions.

We would like to claim that we expect more from the United Nations, but we do not. We duly understand that admission into the United Nations has no real qualifications except that one must not be amongst the more exemplary members of the nations of our Earth. Were Israel to seek entrance to the United Nations these days, her admission would probably be refused. When the body of nations cannot even agree that the digging of tunnels under the border aiming to reach the center of residential towns for the purpose of killing families in their sleep and abducting others to hold for ransom does not constitute acts condemnable by that world body, then the world is definitely on the wrong track and heading for a great wake-up call in the form of a strong knock upside their collective heads. The problem is that these wake-up calls too often take far too many of the decent people we know reside the world over; often it is just the leadership which is to blame. What become a tragedy is when the governance of a region takes charge of the education system and transforms it into a militarizing and radicalizing instrument fomenting hatred to a the point beyond all reason and uses summer camps for field training and weapons mastery, then the result is lost generations and an entirety of a region which has become lost to mankind. The result of such indoctrination is a population who are unable to produce even rudimentary goods and has been molded as an armed extension of the leadership ready to attack whatever group of people they are facing. When people do such to animals, the result is an animal which, due to no fault of its own, must be put down. That is what people do with animals taught to hate people, we attempt deprogramming and kind treatment. We have had some experience with animals with a dangerous side and have had limited success using kindness combined with obvious negative reactions to their violent tendencies. We can only imagine that it would be equally difficult with people, especially if they have also been taught that any kindness is performed merely to gain an advantage over them and to be suspicious and rejecting of all kindness. This is also part of the terrorist training so as to make them more difficult to repatriate into normal society with any real success.

Hamas makes no bones about their intent for Israel. They desire Israel completely destroyed with every last Jew murdered. They train their operatives to believe that every Israeli who does not actively support Hamas need be murdered. But their extremism does not end there. They further insist that they murder every last Jew on the planet and that their vision and variety of Islam be imposed over the world and their leadership to rule over the world. Theirs is a strict taking of the current teachings from the Quran where the world belongs to the Muslims and only the Muslims be permitted to hold power and only Islam be practiced with Allah being the sole deity with every knee bending to Allah. Well, we are unable to even say that such is a nice goal as goals are a good thing for a people to have, as this is not a healthy goal for any people. There is one thing which Hamas holding to this goal, as do Iran, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and a few other Islamic leaders such as the ones from the Islamic State and other terrorist groups, can be used to teach the Western and developed worlds. In these developed civilizations, cooperation is one of the main themes because these nations have given up on the concept of ruling the world. After suffering the Egyptian Empire, Hittite Empire, Greek Empire, Roman Empire, Byzantine Empire, Caliphate, Ottoman Empire, Mongol Empire, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Dutch, British, Austro-Hungarian, German, Holy Roman and various other Empires, they have realized that ruling the world is quite impossible. They have also concluded that the remainder of the world has reached the same conclusion. That is a false assumption. If only people were able to read translations of the things stated across the Islamic world in Arabic, Farsi or the numerous other languages which the Western media appear incapable of translating instead of relying on the chosen disarming world of peaceful bliss and loving warmth spoken by the same Imams and leaders in English, then they would be aware that there exists a basic belief across Islam that it will conquer the world and all will be made to convert or die and in the end all will worship Allah and follow the directions of their Imams in blissful ignorance. One need know that the qualifications to be an Imam are to be able to quote all or some fair amount of the Quran and produce concepts in such a manner as to gather a following. To be a great Imam one need gather a great following. One of the Imams with the greatest of followings is Sheikh Professor Dr. Yusuf ‘Abdullah al-Qaradawi (Arabic: يوسف عبد الله القرضاوي pictured below), who was banned from Egypt by President Sisi after the removal of the Muslim Brotherhood from rule. He has radio and television presentations as well as sermons on CD’s available throughout much of the world and preaches some of the more violent and hate-filled messages. He has a particular hatred for the Jewish State, the Jewish People and Judaism on particular and has a special hatred from the United States which he depicts as the second greatest threat to Islam. Sorry, our American friends, but Israel apparently is the greatest threat to Islam as well as the world according to Imam al-Qaradawi. He has the number one listened to radio broadcast in the Middle East and across North Africa (MENA) from his residence in Doha, Qatar. He also is the chairman of the International Union of Muslim Scholars holding a number of degrees purporting his great and deep understanding of Islam. He is a very influential speaker rousing crowds to his banner and being able to say what he believes and have millions be strongly at his side. His teachings could bring the body of Islam to conduct campaigns of war against those he depicts as enemies but he has restrained from making overt demands of his followers to violence. This may be part of the agreement granting him sanctuary after his initial banishment from Egypt. On the other end of Imams who gained a great following are such as Imam Muqtada al-Sadr who led forces against the United States in Iraq, Imam Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi who leads the Islamic State or, going back into history a short distance to remember the man who inspired Mahmoud Abbas and was the mentor for Yasser Arafat, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem Amin al-Husseini who spent World War II in Berlin and in the Balkans organizing two SS divisions out of the Muslims there and persecuting Christians between hobnobbing with the Nazis elites and even having been rumored to have attended the Wannsee Conference where the Final Solution was launched. Yes, for the record, there are Islamic leaders and Imams who call for deradicalization of Islam and teaching the followings of the Mecca Quran over the Median Quran such as President Sisi of Egypt. We discussed the differences and reasoning in our article Which Quran, Mecca or Medina?

Much of the Western world has at best a scant concept of what exactly Islam means and the beliefs of its over one-and-three-quarter-billion adherents. We will say here that not all followers of Islam interpret everything including the Quran and the Hadiths reaching the same conclusions and there are a fairly significant number of peace-loving Muslims. But if only ten to twenty-five percent of Islam was to be radicalized and willing to commit acts of violence, that would be one-hundred-seventy-five-million to four-hundred-fifty-million people which is twelve to thirty times the total number of Jews in the world today. To put that in greater perspective, that is between one-half to one and one-third times the population of the United States. For the rest of the world, we will allow everyone else the pleasure of doing the math. We are taught that Islam is a religion of peace yet from the year 720 to the year 750 Islam spread from the Arabian Peninsula to threatening India in the east, the Byzantine Empire at Constantinople in the north and Spain from across the Gibraltar Straights in the west making it one of the largest regions under a single ruler in the world. It was this success which molded much of what Islam believes to this day and why they see themselves as perched on the edge of world conquest. That is the current default belief in Islam as they apply Naskh (Arabic نسخ), or abrogation, the replacing of older texts with more recent texts. They explain the corrections being applied to that which Allah preached not as a correction but that as situations change, reality changes and thus what is correct also changes. What is interesting is that once they replaced the peace and coexistence taught in Mecca with conquest and the sword as in Medina, the situation has yet to swing back such that peace and coexistence have returned to being the driving and central themes in Islam. By coddling these beliefs, the world brings upon itself that which it is rewarding. That is the problem with allowing Hamas to wantonly attack Israel simply because the world could not care less that Jews are being slaughtered, or attempted being slaughtered. The world after three-thousand years of lesson that what starts with the Jews seldom ends with the Jews still has not learned that allowing the Jews to be threatened will lead to all being threatened. This time, it is quite possible that it will mean all will be threatened. Iran, the backers of Hamas as well as Hezballah, Bashir al-Assad, the Houthis, Iraq, Hezballah and internationally the IRGC, has developed, despite what the current propaganda meant to lay fears aside, nuclear weapons and is probably but a test or two away from thermonuclear weapons and have developed EMP devices capable of destroying the European electrical grid as well as the North American electrical grid, and the world simply pretends that the threats they make are too grand to be believed. Iran does intend to do whatever they must to become the rulers of all that is left of the world making Shia Islam the dominant, actually only, religion on Earth. Israel has sounded the warning and attempted to tell the world from their permitted platform at the United Nations. The initial problem is that whenever an Israeli speaks at the United Nations, the vast majority of the world takes a prolonged smoke-break. When it comes to the Security Council, Israel is amongst a small list, if not the only nation, to have never held a seat and thus never been permitted a voice. Israel has been excluded from any number of United Nations agencies and an unwelcomed member at much of the rest. There have been areas where Israel has been welcomed such as the agencies which bring agricultural developments, medical developments as well as training and expertise to third world and developing nations particularly in Africa and Asia and now expanding to South America and those areas which permit Israel to assist. Unfortunately, these areas do not include the Arab and most of the Muslim worlds as they claim that Israel only taints that which they touch and never provide anything of assistance. What Iran is willing to do to become the foremost, if not only, power in the world can be measured by what their Supreme Leader has stated they are willing to have happen in order to destroy Israel. The Supreme Leader has stated that even were Israel to be capable of a second strike which would destroy most of Iran, as long as Israel was also destroyed, that price would be worth paying. Further clarification was made when he referred to Israel as a one-bomb nation claiming that with one Iranian bomb, Israel could be destroyed while it would require at least five such weapons to destroy Iran. If the Supreme Leader and Grand Ayatollah is willing to sacrifice his entire nation just to eradicate Israel, does anyone really believe that a deterrent exists which would prevent Iran from the attempted annihilation of any considered their enemy? The time has come to declare that Israel is a nation amongst the community of nations and not going to be erased and that the world need learn to live with one another otherwise we will all soon die together. So choose, do we live together or die together and if it is live together, that must include Israel or how can anybody believe that those willing to sacrifice Israel are not willing to sacrifice everyone else.
