Sovereignty Over the Shomron

 

Recently we wrote about the postponement again of the Sovereignty Bill where Prime Minister Netanyahu claimed the postponement was due to the need to work with the Administration of President Trump. Well, it turns out that President Trump and his administration does not know about any such need to work with Netanyahu. Perhaps we should be understanding as Prime Minister Netanyahu has so many troubles at the moment that he gets confused about with whom he has discussed what and when or how. The Israeli police have finally completed their multi-year investigations, the latest of their investigations, and have advised that charges be filed against Prime Minister Netanyahu. This has become an event every couple of years where the police recommend charges be brought and when all is said and done more was said than done as the Attorney General and his prosecutors end up giving the police a pat on the head and told they made a great effort but what they found not only does not rise to the need for any accusations, they really should have relied upon a far less partial main witness. One has to wonder what they were thinking when they needed to find some evidence which was worthy of calling for accusations that they turned to the one man who most desires to replace Netanyahu himself, Yair Lapid. For those who don’t know Yair Lapid, he is the most recent replacement for Tzipi Livni as largest desire with the least chance of ever becoming Prime Minister. His self-serving use of the party he founded, Yesh Atid, is merely the necessary invention which will permit him to make claims on being the next greatest savior who can finally make peace and having the intelligence which was evidenced by his astute ability to actually read the teleprompter on the news every night. His entire claim to fame is his being a newscaster who almost never mispronounced a single syllable. The real problem with Mr. Lapid’s plans is he is stuck in the two state solution and believes that leaving the communities beyond the Green Line and even sharing Jerusalem would bring peace, a folly if nothing else.

 

The problem with the solutions of the past is their logic was from the past and belongs to the past. Realities have changes and the weaponry of the terrorists have changed. The previous weapons were handguns, assault rifles, suicide bombs and weapons which could be applied directly to an area. The current weapon of choice still includes all the old weapons plus rockets, missiles, mortars and artillery. This has altered every reality concerning ceding lands to the Arabs as now they have weapons which have vastly increased their range and lethality. Granting the Arabs in the Shomron complete autonomy would open the central regions of Israel and soon after the entirety from the northernmost points to Eilat at the southern tip to rockets and artillery and other lethal weaponry. As everything has changed and progressed, Israel will be required for the safety of her people to retain sovereignty over the entirety of the Shomron if the country is to remain secure. The changed factors makes retaining the Shomron so critical that it matters not if the Europeans, the United Nations, the United States, the Russian or anybody anywhere on the planet might object, Israel must retain all the lands west of the Jordan River, period. Anyone and everyone who wishes to demand otherwise must be ignored and if they should become overly loud, then they will require straight truth about reality and be silenced or ignored, no other option should be considered. International Law, Treaties, the Mandate and every legal document grants Israel total and complete authority and rule over these lands and that is what must be impressed on everyone opposing the Israeli claims. That is the simple reality of the modern situation in the Middle East.

 

Looking at the area, we find wars in Yemen, Syria, Iraq, and including Turkey and Afghanistan and even Pakistan. Currently, except for the provocations from Hamas, Hezballah and Iran, Israel is one of the sole places where peace exists. Israel is one of the most stable governances in the entire Middle East where there is a democracy, another uniqueness, where the people are represented in the government. Allowing the Arabs another state would simply create another unstable area which would initially be a dictatorship with Mahmoud Abbas at its head. The problem is as soon as the IDF would be required to retreat from the area; Abbas would initially be overthrown by members of the Palestinian Authority which would in turn be overthrown by Hamas under the direction and with assistance from Iran. This would grant Iran a launching-off point on the western shores of the Jordan River and on the heights overlooking Tel Aviv and the central region of Israel. Without the Shomron, Israel is a mere nine miles wide at its center thus the Shomron is absolutely necessary for Israel to be capable of self-defense. The Shomron (West Bank on the image below) is absolutely required if Israel is to survive if for no other reason than weapons and tactics of war have been irrevocably altered since 1967 when Jordan held the area and declared war along with Egypt and Syria in the Six Day War. The United Nations demanded that Israel return lands, not all lands, and by returning the Sinai Peninsula and giving up all claims to Gaza, Israel has returned lands and fulfilled any and all requirements placed upon her.

 

Nine Mile Wide Israeli Waist

 

Israel faces other challenges well beyond the Jordan River. There is Iran which has promised to destroy the Zionist Entity, and Turkey which despite having official relations still acts more as an enemy than a reliable partner in peace. Additionally, Israel faces Hamas in Gaza, Iran in Syria, Hezballah in Syria and Lebanon and much if not most of Europe and the United Nations all working to destroy the singular Jewish State. What many do not realize is that Israel is the single entity standing between chaos and an invasion of Europe by the hungry forces of Islam which include Turkey, Iran, Hezballah and near countless terrorist groups. The Europeans should realize from the recent increases in terrorism, many which imitate things which have been perpetrated against Israel in the past, that without the plug in the well-shaken bottle which is Israel the violence in the Middle East would explode across Europe pouring into the streets and across city after city. Europe is probably rightfully frightened by what it has witnessed closer to their borders than such violence has been in ages and take their frustrations and trepidations out on the only target which actually might care, Israel. The Europeans know if they were to launch the kind of accusations they throw at Israel at Iran, Syria, Lebanon or others that they would be inviting waves of terrorism to flow across their borders, so out of frustration they target Israel as Israel is not about to take anything out on them. The truth is the land is rightfully Israeli and the Palestinian Arabs were invented in 1964 by Yasser Arafat, Mahmoud Abbas and much assistance of the KGB. We had a recent article with a video halfway down the page where a member of Hamas, in a pique of anger with Egypt, lets loose a barrage revealing the falsity of the Arab narrative against Israel identifying the vast majority of the Arabs as Egyptians, Saudis, Syrians, Iraqis and other Arab and Muslim nations and not native to the area. The reality is that for most of its three-thousand-year history, Jerusalem has had a Jewish majority. No other nation has ever held Jerusalem as its capital city and only the Jews have had an actual freestanding state on the lands west of the Jordan River in the entire history since King David. Israel needs and must retain these lands, as they are all part of her ancestral homeland and have always been vital to her defense.

Israel; Whose Land is it Anyways?

 

This will be a short piece, or so is our intent. We have been watching another argument as to whether a piece of Judea and Samaria where parts of Amona are situated is Jewish land or Arab land. Without demanding deeds or other proof, the leftist Israeli Supreme Court decided that since if an Arab is monetarily for real estate they own they will be put to death by their semiautonomous governance under, you will love this, former Jordanian law which makes selling land to a Jew a capital offense. Thus if an Arab claims land on which Jews reside, the Jewish homes must be destroyed as the land may not be purchased. Jordanian law when they were removed from their illegal occupation over half a century ago? Who does such insanity? The Palestinian Authority and the Israeli left are mostly fanatics who are definitively anti-Zionist and fully a subsidiary of European governments, the European Union and European NGOs who masquerade as human rights groups watching out for Palestinian Arab rights but not their betterment. They have no regard or care that the Arab Palestinian has no right as to how to profit or dispense their land and never want to either as they prefer being able to dismantle their homeland piece by piece. By their standards we should bring a Palestinian Arab’s claim from, oh, say Beverly Hills, who claims to have owned the lands under their leadership’s home and see what the Supreme Court, and they as well, would do. If they did not order a demolition in Tel Aviv then we would reveal a sad case of hypocrisy. But let us look for a moment on land and who really owns it.

 

Who owns land which had been occupied and lived on as long as the State of Israel as defined as from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea all depends on the when. That is, to what period of time are we referring? Remember the Canaanites? Well, during the time of Abraham they were ruled by several kingships so no one entity ruled the lands we will define as Israel for this exercise and as a form of simplicity. The Canaanite lands were, at times, conquered, and thus owned, by the Hittites. So perhaps we should reference Hittite law. Then often the Hittites were pushed out and replaced by the Egyptians (not the same people as the Egyptians of today) so perhaps we should be applying the appropriate law of Pharaohs. After the Exodus the Israelites were ruled by individual Tribal leaders and overall by the Prophets and Judges who applied Torah law and their own Hashem directed judgements which would require some extremely special people who are likely rarer than hens teeth. Then Israelite Kings Saul, David, Solomon etc. also owned the lands so perhaps a return to their laws, Torah laws. The Babylonians occupied these lands so perhaps we need apply Babylonian law. Then Israel was a semiautonomous province of the Persians which would demand a mix of Torah and Persian laws of Cyrus the Great through a series of successive kingships. Then there were the Greeks, the Polemic Greeks, the Assyrian Greeks, the Romans, Byzantines then finally the first Arabs of the Caliphate, then a series of Arab and Kurdish rulers, then the Ottoman Turks, then the British. Apparently about the only world powers not to ever have possessed these lands are the French, the Spanish, the Portuguese, the Netherlands, the United States and the Duchy of Grand Fenwick. Obviously, when it comes to whose laws under which Israeli society, even in the territories, should be ruled, there could be many differing views depending which governance you prefer over the past almost five millennia.

 

While we are talking about such things as what rules, should all of Lebanon south of the Litani River be ruled under the laws of the Israelites when the Twelve Tribes were ruled separate placing much of that land under the Tribes of Asher, Naphtali and Dan? Then there is the question of what rules for Syria. While much of Syrian history had a similar set of rulers by kingdoms similar to those which ruled over the lands of Israel with the biggest differences being the French instead of the British and the Assyrians and some of the Kurdish and Arab rulers using Damascus as their capital city making them a kind of home body, there was a period under the rules of King David and Solomon when Syria was conquered largely by the Israelites. Egypt has had outside rulers. Iran used to be Persia until recent history and was at one time ruled by the Mongols. The United States consisted of a great number of Native American nations, parts were ruled by the French, the Spanish and the Russians and both Texas and Hawaii were at one time nations of their own (the Republic of Texas and the Kingdom of Hawaii). The Kingdom of Hawaii was established in 1795 and in 1810 the entirety of the archipelago was unified when Kauaʻi and Niʻihau joined the kingdom willingly and without bloodshed or war. Absolute power was vested in the King by a Constitution drafted in 1887. The succeeding Queen attempted to return to the “old ways” but she was overthrown in 1893 largely at the hands of the American plantation owners and American society. Hawaii remained a Republic until annexed by the United States in 1898 and was finally made a state on August 21, 1959. Descendants of the monarchy are alive today but who would be the rightful heir to the throne is debatable with many likely to claim that lineage, but the need is unlikely to arise except maybe to marshal a parade. Many, if not every, nations have had multiple claims to sovereignty over their soil. The British, Spanish and Arabs are three of the largest colonial powers with only the Arabs continuing to hold rule over most of the lands they conquered between 622 and 750 (see map below). One could easily claim that the Arab expansive empire has been the longest enduring of empires with the longest history of colonialism. But when your religion claims that the entirety of the world was made simply to be placed under your rule, perhaps such explains why in their minds they have been denied their rightful ownership of everything.

 

Islamic Expansion

 

Back to Israel and which rules should be followed. If one were to ask which legal system has ruled Israel the longest, that answer would surprise most other than students of ancient history and Torah. The area of Israel was ruled by the Israelite people (incorrectly referred to as Jews because Jews was a shortening for Judeans which were those of the Kingdom of Judah which was the southern kingdom when the Israelites split into the northern kingdom of Israel which contained ten tribes and the southern kingdom of Judah with two tribes, see map below) were ruled by Torah. The strictness of its application has wavered during those times but it was the basis of rule from the time of Joshua through the times of Prophets and Judges and through the Kingdoms ruled by Saul, David and Solomon and a presumably beyond though many of the observances grew lax at times causing misery and troubles for the Israelite people. Even after the Kingdom split into northern and southern kingdoms, both presumably remained ruled by Torah though again exactitude was not maintained. Jewish history blames the eventual conquest of Israel and Judah and all other conquests on the lack of observance by the people as a whole, something which does have a ring of truth about it. Under such history, perhaps Israel as a whole should be following the Torah and we are not ones who would argue with such.

 

Kingdoms of Israel and Judah and Surrounding States

 

Israel becoming a Torah observant nation where Torah rules would be the source for the laws of the land would present many a difficulty. The first item is the applicable laws for the society would be the Oral Law. In ancient Israel (and Judah) the Oral Law was exactly that, oral. As such the Oral Law could be adapted to different societal needs. As the situations and the civilization changed, some might say advanced, we will call it transitioning to new discoveries and realities, the Oral Law was flexible enough to adapt to the changes. These alterations in the law would be gradual and likely not overtly evident as time passed. The Prophets and learned Rabbis, pending on the period, would advise on Torah and the level of stringency demanded to keep the Oral Law within the guidelines of Torah which while not changing the revelations within the Torah would come out as understanding of the world around us progressed. When the Romans spread the remainder of the Judeans to the far corners of the Roman Empire the Rabbinate decided that as the people were now dispersed there needed to be a more defined and stringent Oral Law and this situation necessitated writing the Oral Law into codified texts. This resulted in a work over many generations where the Talmud was written. None of us are Talmud scholars so we will not even attempt to describe the discussions and how conclusions were reached or any of the other particulars and leave that to individual interests to spur any further research. Warning, understanding Talmud can take a lifetime of intense study and where a formal education cycle averages seven years.

 

The Talmud is defined as having two components: the Mishnah (Hebrew: משנה, c. 200 CE), a written compendium of Rabbinic Judaism’s Oral Torah, and the Gomorrah (c. 500 CE), an elucidation of the Mishnah and related Tannaitic writings that often ventures onto other subjects and expounds broadly on the Hebrew Bible. Whatever the definition, the important item are the dates when it was debated generally and compiled. While more commentaries have followed, one would not find corporate law or other required rules for a modern society in its pages. Yes, much of it might apply but too much of modern life is outside the strict definitions and other sections have been relegated unnecessary by modern conveniences. Much of the writings deal with day to day living as a Jew and observances and other religious determinations as it was composed as a religious guide as the Jews were living under sets of secular laws other than Torah or Jewish law and the Talmud simply was the guide to maintain a Jewish compliant life. Israel requires a complete set of laws if the nation of Israel were to come under Torah law. This would require a whole new and different Oral Law which would be partially written codes and social laws which would hopefully largely remain oral and flexible. As stated above, it was an Oral Law for a reason but the life and society were quite a bit more simple two to four thousand years ago and the laws were largely interpersonal relations and simple property rules. The laws were few enough that they did not require being written though we can be assured that records were kept and laws governing taxes and the like were written though they were subject to change at a moment’s notice. When it comes to fees and taxes, at least that has not changed as anyone attempting to understand IRS codes fully understands. So, before Israel can even consider becoming a nation once again ruled by Torah, the Rabbinate need get very busy composing a new Oral Code of Law which is complete enough to justify trusting Israeli society to Torah judges. Just for the record, these Torah judges should be appointed by some combination of the Rabbinate and the people in each community where the communities have the greater say in who will stand in judgement of their lives. This will take quite a while and we would bet that by the time the new laws are ready and approved that Israel will have evolved to a point where such a change will be welcomed.

 

One last note, for those waiting for the reaction to the Security Council vote, tomorrow, hopefully tomorrow.

Coming Death of Europe and the European Union

 

 

Finally British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlin’s Peace for Our Time which started World War II can be put to rest just as it put the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria and Sophie, Duchess of Hohenberg which started World War I to rest. That might indicate to many that German Chancellor Angela Markell’s announcement that Germany would accept 800,000 Syrian refugees which was the dropping of the European Union flag starting the final invasion of Europe as we know her, the bitter and painful death of Europe and the European Union.

If those flooding into Europe were actually families of all ages with many being three, four or even five generations traveling seeking a sane and orderly place to rebuild their lives, then it would be acceptable. But these are not largely families nor are they all Syrians; these are refugees from the length and breadth of the troubled Middle East from Pakistan and Afghanistan to Yemen to Libya to Somalia. The problem is the non-Syrian members of the refugee hordes and those both planted and others simply the product of a poor education system who are easily influenced by those planted within these groups who will spread influence and others who are easily influenced by these placed within the systems.

 

The fuel which will sustain the fires, both literal and figurative, has been in place and willing to follow any leader who promises a better future. That better future which will excite the youths from the existing Islamic populations whose parents fled the exact same system as what will be promised as the solution to their problems, a system where these underprivileged youths who have received an inexcusably poor education or were raised in Islamic Madrasas which have been subverted simply teaching the promises of jihad and the redistributional systems where they will be given their shares of a new society which they will bring into existence through violence and revolution. The greatest share of the wealth they redistribute will necessarily end up in the pockets of the instigators and the real power gained will also be exclusively shared by the leaders of this grand jihad, this grand revolution which is fed by class and racial rhetoric which will stoke the fires of the inequality of wealth distribution and their inherent right to these riches after the conquest of Europe.

 

The real problem also lied in the freedom to travel anywhere within the European Union once one establishes residency in any one of the European Union nations. This will make the spread of the instigators and facilitators crossing from one country to the next always preaching the same story of how the riches of those who now rule have stolen from them and their right once the new order of the Sharia and Islamic rule has been established. Any Muslim who tries to prevent their youths from making the same mistakes which were behind the failures of the Arab Spring or committing themselves to instituting the exact same governments which have spread the misery equally to those being enslaved by a government that is all about submission; will be imprisoned, if they are fortunate, or executed. This includes but is not limited to submission to Allah, submission to Islam, submission to the Sharia, submission to the Iman and submission to the government which will claim be to be an extension of Allah. The Imans, the Sharia and the hierarchical system of a dictatorial theocracy control the real wealth and power. It will be vested in the few at the top and just sufficiently shared with the highest tier in the political and religious scale of a strictly ordered society and the Imans who tell great stories of the shahids who liberated the land for Allah. The state of affairs for the masses will be little different after the initial spoils are redistributed much as was true immediately after the French Revolution which soon led to a secondary revolution between the two then opposing solutions and the strongest but not necessarily the best side won and the French have been attempting to perfect their socialist order and their republic all the while missing the systemic problems within socialism, but fear not as the winds of change are about to blow and blow with the very fires of religious fervor and unprecedented zeal not seen since the Inquisition and sharing much of the same horrors.

 

The winds of Islamic Caliphate are coming to Europe and the only antidote has been forsaken to such a point as there is little if any hope that Europe will find the resolute will and G0d fearing faith to make the sacrifices necessary to combat the evil that is coming. The disease which fathered this change has been a long time building and its most apparent problem has been the cause of the necessity to bring in foreign sources of labor which will now extinguish all that Europe has built and either tear the signs of Western based systems and their most obvious symbols out by the roots or convert these monolithic cathedrals into Grand Mosques and take the statues and obelisks which festoon Old Europe out by their roots. The architecture will have to be altered to please the new masters and some obvious pillars to another time will need be torn asunder. The prime example would be Titus’s Arch with its symbols of Roman General Titus’ spoils from the defeat of Jerusalem and the putting down of the Jewish (Israelite) revolt and taking the spoils of war by taking the sacramental treasures from and sacking of the Second Temple back to Rome a sign of his triumph (see images below).

 

 

 

 

Islam in its current Jihadi form refuses to permit the colossal works such as Titus’s Arch on the Via Sacra in the Forum Romanum, Rome, Italy (above) or the Arc de Triumph stands in the center of the Place Charles de Gaulle (originally named Place de l’Étoile), at the western end of the Champs-Élysées, Paris, France (below) as such works either predate Islam, Titus’s Arc, or have no reference or meaning in Islam, Arc de Triumph, thus are simply distractions from Muhammad and Allah and as such are deserving of destruction. These also represent great victories or are standards or national monuments and as such must be brought low before they inspire some future generation to reassert their national pride. Without such reminders of a past independent from Islam it is far easier to keep the people in a state of submission. Further, a people in submission without any signs, monuments, great works of art, literature, movies, music, or anything else not honoring Islam and declaring the superiority and completeness of Islam are inconsequential. A story, apparently first appearing in the thirteenth century (mentioned first by Abd al Latif, who died in 1231, and later by Gregory Bar Hebraeus, who died in 1286), says that the Arabs, under Caliph Umar, destroyed the Alexandria Library shortly after the conquest of Egypt in 639 AD. The story rumored that Caliph Umar stated, “This library, if the books it contains agreed with the Koran, then they are superfluous, and if they disagree, then they are heretical. In either event, they are worthless and should be obliterated.” The books of the Library were put to the torch being used to heat the palace baths. Such was the reasoning which led to the destruction of the Buddhas of Bamiyan in Afghanistan by the Taliban claiming they were the objects of idolatry and thus an abomination which must be destroyed. Similar claims have been documented for the actions of the Islamic State when they came upon items which were not of Islamic origins, especially if they were from religions which predated Islam.

 

 

 

 

We covered the destruction of the Buddhas of Bamiyan in our article titled Israeli Choice Between Terminal Terror or Settling Our Lands which were one of a number of such desecrations committed in the recent past and if Islamic State, the Taliban, and al-Qaeda get their way, the destruction has just begun. The items which would stand a high likelihood of being destroyed upon Islamic, especially the ardently zealous, passionately obsessive and compulsively dedicated with a fanatical devotion to Islam and solely Islam, possession of Western Europe would include irreplaceable artwork originals including the entirety of the Louvre in Paris, France. So many victory and other celebratory arches and obelisks, untold statues, historic sites, religious monoliths such as Stonehenge and countless libraries, film collections and archives, art museums and so much more as to be unthinkable. Further, many churches would be transformed into Mosques or otherwise destroyed, the main cathedrals would have their ornate artwork and mosaics plastered over as was done to the Hagia Sophia, the complete destruction of the Sistine Chapel as that has solid irreplaceable artwork, much done by the greatest painters of the day such as Michael Angelo as well as the stores in the Vatican vaults, their artwork and so much more (especially if the rumors are true that the original vessels, sacrificial items, the candelabra and other artifacts taken from the Second Temple by Titus referred to above and came into the hands of the Catholic Church early in the formation of the church and have been kept hidden and official denials issued when approached on the subject. But there will be other events which will change the entire scenario long before it gets to the horrific stages expected to arrive sooner rather than later.

 

The main problem has been the split between Old Europe (Western Europe) and the former Warsaw Pact Nations (Eastern Europe) with the most forceful stances taken have been Poland and Hungary who have refused to permit any refugees from remaining within their borders. The problem will come to a head once the refugees are issued European Union National identity cards or Blue Cards to be able to work throughout the European Union. Once the refugees gain the ability to travel, work, reside and cross into any European Union country, those nations who have refused to allow them entry except to pass through on to Germany, France, Scandinavia or anywhere other than Poland, Hungary and the other Eastern European nations and European Union members for now will soon be leaving the European Union either by choice or dictate. We suspect that once this comes to a head that the United Kingdom, which is already about to have a referendum on whether to remain in the European Union, and the majority of eastern bloc European Union member nations will all flee from their membership or attempt to remain members and also be permitted to define who may or may not cross their borders for as long as the refugee situation persists. If the European Union decides to be stubborn and refuse the eastern bloc nations, then there is a good chance that we are witnessing the immediate death of the European Union. If exceptions are granted for the former Warsaw Pact nations, then the days of the European Union are numbered. The European Union cannot long survive once it has granted that as long as member nations insist, then there can be different rules for some and the binding rules for the others you have an untenable situation where all European Union nations are equal, just some are more equal than others. That never has worked very well.

 

This situation was partially brought on by shifting population numbers where replacement levels were not met for a number of decades now. Germany having one of the worst within all of the European Union member nations may have been spurred by the vital need for younger workers as their pension bill increases and the number of workers kept declining, not a situation with which any nation can long survive. The same problem but nowhere near as severe has struck the United States thus one of the reasons there is no great hurry to close the southern border. The situation in the United States is not comparable to that of the European Union as in the United States the situation is being addressed by ignoring the influx of illegals across the Rio Grande River. The United States is blessed in that their illegal immigrants are largely Hispanic Christians with a large number either Catholic or after reaching the shores of the United States discovering and becoming Evangelical Christians. That is a far smoother transition than what Europe is facing. Further, the immigrants to the United States are coming with the intent of becoming Americans and assimilating with the exception of their intentions to remain religious or at least more religious than the average American, sad but true.

 

The Europeans are facing an entirely different problem. The refugees and the illegal immigrants which have been flooding Europe from the south by crossing the Mediterranean Sea, have an entirely separate and different religious, social, and political background which is completely in every way incompatible with European history, European religious freedom, even freedom from religion for the majority, work skill levels, educational levels, morals, social ethics, and just about everything right down to food choices. Their inclusion will completely alter what it means to be European. These illegal refugees from across the Mediterranean Sea are far more likely to adopt at least some of the European ethos while those coming from the east out of the Middle and Central East from as diverse a set of nations as imaginable will be mixed with most being honest refugees and amongst them hidden in plain sight will be entire terror squads. On top of the Christian Syrian refugees and some Iraqi Christians who compose the smallest of the smallest percentages, there are influxes of Islamic, largely Sunni which may perhaps be the slightest of breaks, with refugees arriving other than Syrian there are also Iraqi, Afghans, Pakistani, Yemenis, Iranian Arabs, Saudis and even some Egyptians and Sudanese. This is a challenging mix and the fact that many of the refugees have little or no skills and at best a rudimentary education level, is a complete change from what the European Union nation are accustomed. This is a completely separate and alien set of backgrounds which will also present problems in finding them employment. This is a problem as the last thing the European nations and the European Union do not need is a workforce who require rudimentary educations and training on even what a time-clock is and the stress in European society will quickly hit the breaking point and soon thereafter the boiling point.

 

We may be about to witness the splintering of the European Union. The first ones to bow out will be the eastern and former soviet Warsaw Block nations who might return to Russian orbit or may strike out on their own. Should the Eastern Europeans decide to make their own version of the European Union then Israel should use her friendship with Poland, the Czech Republic, the Baltic States and any others to receive preferable trade relations and potentially membership in any group they might form but Israel should be careful that these nation are not taking their time to simply gain a better bargain in reentering the Russian orbit. Some of the Eastern European Nations favor Israel, even more so than many of the Western European nations who are behind the BDS in Europe and have taken the Western European nations and have been instrumental in financing NGOs which oppose Israel and support the destruction of Israel and replacing it with yet another failed Arab kleptocracy. The strangest thing was the admission by Mahmoud Abbas that he had refused to accept or even make a counter proposal, just as did Yasser Arafat before him, too he rejected an offer from Israel’s Ehud Olmert which included placing Jerusalem’s Old City under international control and granting his 99.5% of the lands he demands and a tunnel between Judea and Gaza for Arab use only. Whatever the reason he gave, it was most definitively a bald faced lie! Abbas was offered lands from the triangle to offset for the settlement area Israel was retaining. Still the Arab capital would have been in East Jerusalem. Abbas was basically admitting that he could not be made happy with a loaf of bread under each arm and a bag full of marmalade, butter and some India Black Tea on the pot waiting. There is no hope short of marching the population of Israel westward into the Mediterranean and then Abbas would continue to take millions and then complain to the world that he needed more to be held responsible and if they did not fill the coffers. The world will eventually tire of that petulant child and his temper tantrums and let him scream and pound the floor kicking and screaming until he passes out. We can turn on the televisions if need be, but this they would not cover, but no matter, most Israelis we have had enough with the suited terrorist and his lies and false claims, his projection and finally, his damage to the Arab people whom he supposedly serves. We guess that is what you get when you deal with charlatans who are only in the game for the terror and pain they can inflict and the dollars and Euros they are able to steal, all else be damned.
