More Signs of Impending Violence

 

Many people throughout the developed world hardly ever hear when Hamas fires rockets into Israel except perhaps as an afterthought towards the end of a news story about the horrific toll suffered by the Arabs in Gaza from the dastardly Israeli air strike. The story inverts the events making it seem the Hamas rocket fire was in response to the Israeli bombing, not the actual path of the events. Hamas initially fired four rockets at Eilat at the southern tip of Israel, a popular Israeli resort town. We have heard subsequently that the Islamic State terrorists claimed credit for the attack they say was launched from the Sinai. This is likely a small difference as many of the rockets used by the terrorists in the Sinai were either from Gaza or supposedly on route to Gaza and purloined for other usage. One missile landed in an open area and no Israelis died though there was a number treated for shock trauma in the local hospital. The other three rockets caused Israeli loss of revenue of over $150,000 as three Iron Dome anti-rocket missiles had to be fired to intercept these three rockets which were projected to strike within inhabited areas of Eilat. Where this may be a one off from Hamas in Gaza as they have tended to fire a salvo of rockets into Israel from time to time just to remind the Jews that their Islamic betters have not forgotten them or the promise Hamas has made to eradicate Israel and then every Jew on Earth. Usually these single salvos are smaller rockets and they tend to be targeted at the Kibbutzim and towns like Sederot. These rockets were far larger than the usual rockets, which usually indicate they will be the first of what will slowly become an ever escalating barrage until Israel is forced to use the IDF and end the attacks. These attacks in this potential future will also include terror tunnels and attempted kidnapping of soldiers or civilians, Hamas considers even the most aged and the youngest baby as just as grave a threat as any Israeli; they see the Jews in the same light as the former Mufti of Jerusalem Haj Amin al-Husseini (see image below) who served the Nazis residing in Berlin for much of World War II and attendee of the Wannsee Conference where the Final Solution was formulated. The intent of the ruling terrorist government in Gaza has been evident since their initial days after they ejected Mahmoud Abbas and his Palestinian Authority (PA) and PLO terrorist out of Gaza back to Ramallah. Hamas established their rule after executing numerous PA political and military officials by firing squad, hanging or simply dropping them off the roof of some of the tallest buildings in Gaza.

Their ruthlessness has since mostly been turned towards Israel and in assisting terrorist groups in the Sinai Peninsula who are working to overthrow Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi. Hamas also allows Islamic Jihad to operate in Gaza provided they share resources received largely smuggled from Iran which supports Islamic Jihad and occasionally Hamas as well despite the fact that Hamas is Sunni and Iran Shiite and Hamas is an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood, not one of the Iranian approved organizations. This recent rocket attack is worrisome in other ways as intelligence reports place the newest rockets held by Hamas and Islamic Jihad to have increased range capable of easily striking Tel Aviv and Jerusalem as well as most everywhere south of and including Haifa. Even more troubling is rumored intelligence, though unconfirmed, that Iran may have smuggled plans for guidance systems which could be installed in the larger rockets making them guided missiles though the guidance uses dead reckoning and once fired cannot be adjusted and the accurate will not be as pinpoint accurate as modern missiles in Israeli or American arsenals but when you are aiming at entire cities, the demand for pinpoint accuracy is not demanded. Hamas will suffice to strike with an accuracy of within a quarter mile as that would be far more accuracy than their former rockets promised. Hamas also claims to have learned from their last conflict with Israel and have promised “swarms of rockets which will overwhelm the pathetic Israeli Iron Dome” systems. This is why Israel has been attempting to produce as many new Iron Dome systems as they have been able.

 

But the threats to Israel have become but a minor front in the growing conflict between Islam and the developed world of North America, Europe and the free world. The first front in this war draws its lines along the reputed “no-go zones” across the major cities of Europe. London, Malmo, Paris, Marseilles, Munich, Berlin and Amsterdam have areas where police enter only in force. This situation exists in some non-Muslim ghettoes in Europe and the United States as well so this is not a situation which is only regarding Islamic neighborhoods and many Muslim neighborhoods are as law abiding as any other. Despite Muslims being still relatively small percentages of the total population (see map below), they are so concentrated in the cities and in many cases far more heavily concentrated in some cities over others. Marseilles has been rumored to have one of the highest concentrations of Muslims in Europe, thirty to forty percent, but that could be misleading as often much of the Muslim populations reside just outside the city limits in the suburban ghettos. Unlike the United States where most poor neighborhoods are in the center or the oldest neighborhoods of the major cities, the European poorest neighborhoods ring the outside of the major cities.

The Islamic revolution in Europe is full-on and blossoming into a major confrontation. There have been Muslim protests and signs of unity and confrontation such as prayer sessions blocking streets in Paris and other cities often organized for Friday prayers (see image below). These are blatant shows of force and a declaration that Islam will soon control the city or that they already do control the city if they should decide to take it by force. The media attempts to portray such events as minor and insignificant. Further, if any of the rest of the population should take offense or find these demonstrations of supremacy to be dangerous or a threat to the status quo, the left wing, mainstream media immediately accuses the person of committing Islamophobic crime against societal cohesion and challenging communal well-being. The politicians ostracize their cohorts who desire to address the problems and those who have been most active, such as the one we covered in our article “Geert Wilders Asks, “Who lost Europe?”” who now need twenty-four hour a day-seven day a week-three hundred sixty five day a year police protection and lives in a fortified home at an undisclosed and remote location and whose travel security when he goes almost anywhere in the world rivals that of the United States President or potentially the Pope. Perhaps whistling down the street and ignoring everything happening around one is the safest path, for now.

The media is blind to any Islamic violence until it reaches levels impossible to ignore. The media has assumed the position of the immortalized three monkeys of “See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil.” There are those who are crying wolf about the problem and the media simply says there is no wolf, just a large, friendly puppy that is peaceful and does not bite. When a member of the religion of peace does act more like the wolf than the warm, fuzzy, friendly puppy and commits mass murder while screaming “Allahu Akbar!” what does the media report. They will claim there was gun violence or an explosion or workplace violence or simply not cover it at all. That has been the approach especially in the United States and the European Union for the past few decades. There are claims that a new day is dawning in the United States and the new President is hell-bent on taking a dangerous path leading to wreck and ruin. The media has instituted a cry for President Trump to be immediately impeached before he can damage the calm of the universe. There are those in the Congress of a certain political bend who are claiming that the new President’s chosen advisors, Cabinet Secretaries, and his Supreme Court choice are all extreme right wing extremists. These cries is very similar to the media in Europe, mainstream media in the United States and Haaretz description of the government currently in power in Israel. Apparently if one is willing to call Islamist terrorism by the name Islamist terrorism, that makes you an extreme right wingnut deserving of mockery and potentially imprisonment for the safety of the rest of the population. According to the leftists, the terrorism is the reaction of anybody to actual terror by noting it is terror and actually having the temerity to identify the religion of the terrorist is the real danger and terrorizing the public more than the actual acts of terror. Eventually things will get to the inevitable tipping point and the election of Donald Trump to the Presidency of the United States and allowing him a Republican Senate and House of Representatives may just be that tipping point being tripped. This will be the story to watch going forward along with the coming elections across Europe and further whether any other nations will demand a referendum about their exiting the European Union just as happened in Britain with BREXIT. Things could be on the verge of seismic change and if that comes to pass things could become interesting and less predictable. This will remain to be seen and we will comment along the way, we promise.

When Opportunists Meet

 

Moshe Ya’alon rode his wave of disruption and vitriol for all it was worth on his way out the door after turning a reprimand and offer of peace into a council for war, a war against his former friend, Bibi Netanyahu. The final fuselages fired from Ya’alon’s political muskets were easily deflected by a simple set of truths. There was the open defiance of his generals followed by the expressed displeasure of the serving Prime Minister, the same Prime Minister who had entrusted in Ya’alon with the position of Defense Minister not expecting a challenge to Netanyahu’s right and fitness to lead Likud, a position he was elected to hold by the membership of Likud. Ya’alon sided with his generals and then encouraged them to further make waves for him to ride roughshod over Netanyahu in a naked aggression challenging for the top spot. Even this was not sufficient for Bibi to declare war as he is secure in his position. The Prime Minister followed this insult with a soothing balm in the form of the position of Foreign Minister, a fine appointment most would all but kill for, yet insufficient for the hungry Ya’alon who sees now as his time. Slamming the door behind as he left the building, Ya’alon declared his intentions to replace Netanyahu as leader of Likud at the next opportunity, now he just needed wait for said opportunity. But political ambition is not a patience game and one strikes while the iron is hot.

 

Ya’alon must have welcomed the charging of the Retired Generals in their blistering reports titled Security First penned and presented by a group of retired generals and other security chiefs self-defined with the name “Commanders for Israel’s Security”. Their plans were just a rehash of their defeatist plans of surrender land and expect peace, a trade which despite numerous trials has yet to produce a true peace with any level of security. But when has failure ever altered the political path these other opportunists who have jostled their final military assignments so as to position themselves as the saviors of Israel from a problem many were complicit in forming. We can expect more from these gems in the rough as they polish their acts and each other to a lustrous shine, but diamonds these are not.

 

Former Prime Minister, Defense Minister and opportunist extraordinaire who had played friend, mentor, commander, and opponent all when it comes to his presumed friend for the expedience, an expediency which we can assume has now past, rides in Ehud Barak. One can only fear that Tzipi Livni cannot be far behind, though she would likely be seen and avoided as Kryptonite as every political entity she has touched withered and died unchosen on the vine. Speaking Thursday at the Herzliya Conference Ehud Barak called for a “popular protest” going into the next elections in order to bring Netanyahu down from power. One can only assume he sees himself as the answer as he often has previously. His claim was summed up in the quote, “A fanatical nucleus of radical ideology has taken over the Likud by taking advantages of loopholes in the party’s constitution regarding primaries, and ‘cleansed’ Likud’s leadership of all those who valued democratic values more than populism or a temporary accomplishment.” Why not just call his former boss and prior supporter as well as adversary an adversary again, the time seems right and the correct attacks from the right people appear thick in the atmosphere, but is this political fog one of change or just a low lying haze blinding small men’s sight? Attacking the entire Zionist branch of the populace as well as their representatives in power, Barak went on to restate previously disproven canards declaring where the current dreaded path would lead pronouncing as proven fact that, “Implementing the government’s current policy will necessarily lead to an ‘apartheid state’ or a ‘binational state’ with a Jewish minority within a generation or two, with a high likelihood of being engaged in an ongoing civil war between its two parts.” Population statistics and all other studies performed on any logical assessment of annexation of Judea and Samaria have shown both the apartheid state’ or a ‘binational state’ accusations of unavoidability to be as false as predictable trends can prove, but why let facts get in the way of another attack from the leftist peace through surrender camp. Their previous peace through surrender in Lebanon and Gaza have turned out so well, why not triple down and bet the house one last time, and it will be the last time as those who are fortunate might escape back into the Diaspora.

 

Ehud Barak then pointed out that should Prime Minister Netanyahu take Israel down the dangerous path of annexation, even of the main settlement blocks, it would bring ruin down upon Israel and that the only true path would be to start and start immediately dismantling the Settlements in occupied West Bank and bring them back within the Green Line as such would pacify Europe, the United Nations, President Obama, and, most of all, the Palestinians. There would be peace and flowers would grow on barren soil and there would be peace, blessed peace. There is absolutely no possibility that Mahmoud Abbas would rain rockets tipped with sarin gas down on Tel Aviv at the sight of three soldiers talking as he would claim Israel was massing troops to invade and had to be prevented. The world would then congratulate Abbas for keeping the peace as he destroyed the other settlements temporarily occupied by Israel, the settlements of Tel Aviv, Ashdod, Netanya, Ma’alot, Ashkelon, Beersheba, Dimona, Eilat, Jaffa, Haifa and the rest as they join in the desire with Mahmoud Abbas that Israel, the Jewish State, must be destroyed and destroyed utterly. These are the voices and sounds of the next Holocaust waiting for some fool to facilitate it in the name of Peace.

 

Quoting Jeremiah 6:14 as was so famously performed by Patrick Henry in his speech to the Virginia House of Burgesses on March 23, 1775, considering ratification of the Declaration of Independence he talked of Peace, peace, but there is no peace, the speech in its entirety, one of the most powerful of all speeches throughout history, he concluded stating (full text of speech can be found here)


Gentlemen may cry, ‘Peace! Peace!’ but there is no peace. The war is actually begun! The next gale that sweeps from the north will bring to our ears the clash of resounding arms! Our brethren are already in the field! Why stand we here idle? What is it that gentlemen wish? What would they have? Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God! I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty, or give me death!

 

Ya’alon, for his part, has changed his tune now referring to Iran as a minor nuisance and not an existential threat as he had previously claimed when serving as Defense Minister, something we can simply assure ourselves he was ordered to claim that by the warmonger Bibi in order to frighten the masses into continuing to keep him and his Zionist crazies in power. Never mind that Abbas has said so in just so many words, unfortunately in that coded language which none appear capable of translating or even reading other sources who have translated them for the lazy such as us, there can be no peace as long as even a millimeter of Palestinian Land is occupied. Here is part of a press conference from 2015 where Mahmoud Abbas speaks his truth on occupation, sixty-seven years, since 1948 and the founding of Israel.

It is the totality demands that resistance of the occupation has been claimed to remain even after any two state settlement may be reached as for the Arabs the only result they will accept is the ‘liberation’ of all of Israel and the eradication of all Jews.

The evidence of the real Palestinian agenda is often laid bare for all to see but most just ignore the evidence and instead believe fairy-tales they have heard repeated by Western diplomats and politicians who want a Nobel Peace Prize which comes along with even a long handshake between Arabs and Israelis. When Soda Stream moved its Judea factory within the Green Line in the northern Negev, they were met by BDS (Boycott Divestment and Sanction of Israel) claiming a victory and then made known their new program against Soda Stream. The BDS claim was Soda Stream buckled under their pressure and then they immediately claimed that the new Soda Stream factory was built on ‘occupied, stolen’ land from the Bedouin town of Rahat, Israel. This is simply a case that the only thing acceptable to the BDS campaign is the eradication of Israel and every Jew residing there after which they would likely turn their sights on all other Jews. There is a reason their chant goes as it does other than to rhyme but to express their true goals when they proclaim, From the (Jordan) River to the (Mediterranean) Sea; Palestine Must Be Free!

 

 

These small and inconvenient facts do not bother the likes as the Retired Generals and Security Chiefs nor does it bother Moshe Ya’alon or Ehud Barak as any weapon in a fight is to be utilized and the war against Bibi Netanyahu must proceed despite any dangers which might arise. In this case not only does reality bite, but these opportunists chomp and chomp again at the bit just salivating for their chance to take home the prize. That is the reality that these opportunists live for and what they would be willing to allow all Israel to die for as a result. Just as long as they get to sit in the big chair in the big office being sought by small and petty men, that any consequence be damned as they demand their rightful prize. Further, it is tough out there but before jumping ship, and trust that we have our misgivings about Bibi and would love another choice of a viable and true Zionist, how much tougher will it be when the economic heart and soul of Israel lie smoldering with the acrid stench of death and chemicals fills the air? What is the use of new leadership at the helm steering the ship of state through coral shoals and waters if the mutineers have no true map, just this crazed notion that the sweet song from the shores is irresistible and they must draw nigh ignoring the jagged and sharp rocks and the broken timbers from previous ships who too ignored the warnings and answered the sweet Siren’s song. The sweet song of peace in our time has been tried countless times but there is a way which guarantees that Israel will live, that Am Yisroel Chai, and it comes from the Spartan phrase, the words of King Leonidas,

Israel Threatened by Illegal Immigrant Hordes

It began as a trickle, a few each month starting a few years back. Most Israelis were sympathetic to the immigrant refugees fleeing southern Sudan and the literal apartheid killing that was taking place. Then there came a new wave including refugees from Eritrea and Somalia. Again these refugees were received with little complaint. The trickle slowly increased to a flow coming across the relatively unguarded and fence free Egyptian border. About the time the flow had become a torrent the problems began to rear the ugly side of these illegal immigrants. The crime wave struck initially in the southernmost city of Eilat where many of the refugees drifted in search of water. Crossing Egypt and the Sinai makes one very thirsty. Soon the torrent had grown into waves after waves and the flood of illegal immigrants now had overflowed from Eilat and began to gather in other cities with a particularly large number taking refuge in southern Tel Aviv. Wherever these illegal immigrants gathered crime increased along with numerous other problems associated with having numerous homeless people living in the streets. With most of the refugees not able to find work, they could be found on street corners, lounging in the bus terminal and often making trouble either out of boredom or due to panhandling for money and even robbing and stealing property from people on the beaches or from stores and stalls in shopping areas. But the illegal immigrants were not the entire problem; there were those whose sympathies were with the illegal immigrants.

Those who lived in the lower middle class and poorer neighborhoods in Tel Aviv and the other cities where the illegal immigrants gathered began to complain and demand for police and the government to do something to alleviate their plight. They simply wanted the laws of the land enforced. That is where the real problem began. While the working class and elderly Israelis who resided in the neighborhoods were being overrun by refugees and a degree of lawlessness that grew in proportion to the numbers of illegals, they petitioned the Knesset and the police to take actions. This was when those who have infinite sympathy for the illegals but no sympathy for their fellow countrymen took up the plight of the illegal refugees supplying them with legal assistance and took steps to delay or prevent their deportation claiming that they would be in danger if returned to their homelands. With the formation of the new country South Sudan, this was no longer the case for those early refugees who had fled the murderous events that plagued their half of the Sudan. This was not particularly true of those who came from Eritrea and was no more valid an argument for those from Somalia than it might be for anybody from that troubled country. Still, these facts meant nothing to the liberal elite who now had a cause and some downtrodden people to save from the ravages of those who were persecuting them.

The depth of the North Tel Aviv elites compassion was given full display last summer when a number of Ministers of the Knesset fighting for the rights of the Israeli citizens to regain their neighborhoods which had the misfortune of being located in the not so elite South Tel Aviv took over one hundred of the illegal refugees and their children to go swimming at an exclusive members only pool in North Tel Aviv. The MKs had purchased visitor passes for every refugee which silenced the initial complaint implemented to try and deny them entrance. Then they were to be denied entry since they did not have proper swimming gear. Not so fast, the MKs had brought sufficient bathing suits for all. Out of excuses, they allowed the immigrants into the pool for an afternoon of water fun and rubbing elbows with the Tel Aviv elite. Well, they would have rubbed elbows with the Tel Aviv elite if almost all of them had not fled the area as soon as it became obvious these people were going to be allowed to enter. So much for their acceptance. Guess the north Tel Aviv liberal elite only love the illegal immigrants as long as they are in somebody else’s neighborhood. Unfortunately, this problem continues to grow as the numbers of illegals continues to rise. The problem has reached epidemic levels and even the leftists have reached the point where they can no longer ignore reality in order to chase a cause simply for feeling their better than the rest of us. Prime Minister Netanyahu has visited a number of African countries to arrange the return of their citizens with little to show for his efforts. Thus far whatever government there is in Somalia has refused to accept any responsibility or even to recognize that any refugees are even from Somalia and flatly refuse to cooperate. Eritrea has not been measurably more cooperative though it is rumored they were at least slightly more polite in their refusal. The nascent country of South Sudan has taken an official position that as a newly established country which is still having border difficulties with its neighbor, Sudan, have officially requested Israel assist by accepting their refugees as a gift from and for South Sudan. They claim they really would be hard pressed to receive any of their refugee citizens back into the population at this time and it would be really swell if Israel would just keep them a while longer. You can read and watch a video of the South Sudanese Agriculture Minister Betty Ogwar presenting the case stating, “When Israel talks about Sudanese, it is talking about all of them – from Sudan and South Sudan. Israel should support all of the Sudanese. They came because they were afraid and came for a better life.” It is all in an article titled  South Sudan Asks Israel to Keep Infiltrators.

This problem is not going to be easily settled and it does pain many Israelis that repatriating these illegal refugees back to their countries of origin has become necessary. Initially, Israel had been willing to accept some refugees, especially from the south of Sudan while the massacres were still a daily occurrence. But peace has been reached and they now have their own country and their lives are not threatened should they return. Just because the South Sudan would rather not take them back and wishes to have Israel care for their people is no reason to actually keep them in Israel. Israel plans on having a fence system in place by late summer and I can already hear the cries of a new Apartheid Fence on the Egyptian border that is victimizing poor Africans. Needless to say, the world while complaining about the Israeli fence will be ignoring how the Egyptians deal with these refugees. The Egyptians and their Sinai tribes simply murder them when they catch them or sometimes retain the women for reasons I would rather not talk about. But it will be the Israeli fence that is evil. Some days you come to realize that you’re simply not going to get a break.

Israel is taking the initial first step towards solving this difficult situation as the State Attorney’s Office announced Wednesday that it would be asking for the courts to remove their temporary order disallowing incarceration and repatriation of the illegal immigrants who originated in the parts of the Sudan which now make up the new country of South Sudan. Once the legal hurdle is cleared I actually do hope that a humane method which allows for respect and proper care to be given the refugees while preparing them for repatriation. Let us assure their last memories of Israel are of a compassionate and fair people and not of a spiteful place where they were treated harshly as they cooperated with authorities. If any of the illegal immigrants do resist or attempt to avoid legal deportation, then a firm hand may be necessitated, but not necessarily a cruel hand. We can demand respect for Israel while showing respect for these people, while enforcing our laws.
