Time to Impeach President Trump and Other Tall Tales

Apparently, the Democrat leadership has decided that the time has come to start impeachment proceedings against President Donald Trump. This intent was announced on Tuesday by Nancy Pelosi with the below announcement at a press conference.

“Today, I’m announcing the House of Representatives is moving forward with an official impeachment inquiry. I’m directing our six committees to proceed with their investigations under that umbrella.”
“For the past several months we have been investigating in our committees and litigating in the courts so the House can gather all the relevant facts and consider whether to exercise its full Article 1 power, including a constitutional power of the utmost gravity, approval of articles of impeachment.”
“Our republic endures because of the wisdom of our constitution enshrined in three coequal branches that act as checks and balances. The president must be held accountable. No one is above the law.”

We noted that the wording of Ms. Pelosi’s announcement had a glaring omission, namely what the actual charges are for which an impeachment is necessary and the exact charges which will be passed on to the Senate for trial. Instead, we have the urging of their efforts to continue with investigating President Trump stating, “I’m directing our six committees to proceed with their investigations under that umbrella.” Her pronouncement continues stating, “For the past several months we have been investigating in our committees and litigating in the courts so the House can gather all the relevant facts and consider whether to exercise its full Article 1 power…” Then came the big finally to close her statement with an unarguable fact that, “The president must be held accountable. No one is above the law.” Well, actually nobody is above the law, including the President, that is most definitely true. In her full statement, the video above, she states that the offense was the President instructing one of his appointees to keep a whistleblower’s complaint. This is the latest smoking gun, what a whistleblower claims without having even heard the claims, as they must mean that he colluded with a foreign power to act in a manner which would “make the President look better.”

This sounds so ominous except that any time a foreign leader meets with a United States President, any actions resulting from such a meeting which follow what the President desires are actions which will make them look good. Problematically, President Trump is overly concerned with appearing to act strongly and thus looking good in the eyes of his supporters and beyond if possible. Should the American people be concerned that the President used a phrase that doing what was in the service of the United States and its goals would “make him look good” is applying pressure on the foreign leader to attain a goal. This is, of course, presuming that one would desire having the President look good or if you would prefer for him to fail and fail so miserably that he would lose any and all support and especially the 2020 elections. We will allow our readers to decide which is preferable, a President seeking to appear powerful and competent or a President preferring to meekness and appeasing others even when such would not be to the advantage of the United States and the American people.

But the impeachment announcement was not the worst twisting of available facts as that award has to go to Iranian President Hassan Rouhani. He used the known fact that Israel treats a host of people without asking their specifics and only judges their wounds and the best means for treatment. Israel has provided care and hospital stays, numerous ones also requiring surgical procedures, and after they are recovered, they are returned to Syria and no weapons are provided. From these Israeli actions he concludes that Israel is aiding the Islamic State through intentional actions. President Hassan Rouhani uses another claim that the Islamic State fighters/terrorists use some Israeli weapons. From the pictures and reports we have read; they use numerous countries weapons as they are able to gain these weapons. Probably their most frequently arming is with an AK-47. I guess this means that President Hassan Rouhani should also claim that Russia, China, Czechoslovakia or any of the plethora of other nations producing this widely utilized weapon are also actively arming Islamic State. Then there are the stores of equipment left in Iraq by the United States which fell into Islamic State forces means that the Americans are arming them. No, we all know that this finely crafted series of exaggerations were intended to harm Israel and, as this was during an interview with Fox News, to place doubts and suspicions within the American public about Israel and, by extension, Jews. His statements were just another of the long list of Iranian political attacks on Israel.

The problem is that Israel performs and provides aid to countries across the globe on a basis of need and receiving the permission of the receiving nation. Israel does such without any regard to politics. This becomes evident when one researches such activities and then looks at the United Nations General Assembly votes by these nations and the majority condemn Israel at every turn. The fact that Israel was one of the first to arrive and likely the last to leave after some natural or other disaster does not influence their voting at the world body. Did Israel assisting the Philippines after a major typhoon mean that they are assisting the rebel forces on Mindanao or possibly the Philippine forces engaging these rebels or are we allowed to choose whichever would be most damning to the audience which would mostly hear such claims? Israel came and treated the wounded in the Philippines after one of the most violent typhoons to hit land and they did not ask about the patient’s politics or other possible affiliations which might put Israel in a poor light. When people are injured by war, weather or other catastrophic accident and Israel can assist to save lives, then Israel will act to save lives, all lives. Israel has, as we have pointed out before, treated a Hamas leaders’ mother-in-law and daughter, yet Israel most definitely does not support Hamas. They were ill, Israel could treat them and was requested to do so and thus provided them with treatment as required. President Rouhani’s claim is tantamount to claiming an American hospital supports criminals because they treated a person injured while under arrest; in other worlds, simply ludicrous.

Of course, Israel has gotten too used to such claims and seldom gives them any more consideration than they are worth. Unfortunately, these claims from over the years have become so frequent and damning that some have begun to fall for this kind of propaganda. What is more worrying is with the rising anti-Semitism worldwide, more and more people will fall for this form of reason and some happily will spread such claims without any explanation. They would take the statements by President Rouhani and spread simply that Israel assists and arms the Islamic State. This is a blatant misuse of Israeli activities of treating those, largely civilians, injured from the ongoing civil war in Syria. Israel does not check identities before treating these victims and only is concerned with making them whole again or as close as is medically possible. But President Rouhani also claimed that Israel has conducted terrorist attacks on Syria, Lebanon and Iraq. If one defines striking weapons supply routes intended to provide Hezballah and IRGC forces which regularly target Israel as terrorism, then Israel would be guilty. But international law regards intercepting such arms shipments as a form of proactive defense and regards them as completely legal. But one should wonder how Iran is so familiar with these strikes and what they took out. That is an easy one to answer. These shipments originate in Iran and are Iranian weapons intended for their proxies to attack Israel. But in this topsy-turvy world in which we live, Israel intercepting heavy-weapons on their way to terrorist operatives such as Hezbollah is called Israeli aggression or terrorism by her Arab and Islamic detractors for a simple reason, they desire her destruction and will stop at nothing to accomplish same.

We wish we could say that things appear as if they will improve with time, but we fear that Israel may face the impossible within the next decade and a half. The reality is that with Jeremy Corbyn as Prime Minister of Britain and potentially an anti-Israel President unhindered by Congress, and possibly supported by Congress, in the White House, Israel could be facing a United Nations Security Council without any veto protecting her from the worst intentions which may result. Perhaps Israel could work with Russia or China to find a new means for her protection, but just what Netanyahu would need is a Russian collusion investigation of his own. Fortunately, in the long run Israel will be vindicated and shall become a light unto the nations and the world will realize at long last that Israel is an asset for mankind, not an adversary.

Palestinian Rioters Know Some Secrets

The Palestinian rioters and all of their families and friends know some secrets which the world pretends they do not know. They are simple secrets which anybody who cared to view events honestly would figure out fairly quickly, but instead it is so much easier to simply accept the views of events offered by the media even when one knows they are selling lies and misconceptions. So many will excuse their shallow acceptance of the slants from the mainstream media with statements such as why would they lie about such things, and don’t they have to check their facts? They lie about these things because the lies are more easily sold because so many have swallowed that story so completely that to report the truth becomes an act of heresy. Opposing the lies and telling the truth in a society that has accepted lies as truth is a brave act for which one will be made to suffer the wrath of the gullible public whose only desire is to not have to think, not have to work for the truth about world events, they would simply prefer to be told what to think, what to say, what to believe, and what it all means because thinking is so very difficult and it makes their brains hurt. Well, so sorry, but here are some truths which you can believe or you can try to find the evidence behind the news reports and think for yourself and see where that takes you. Odds are you will end up seeing exactly what others have found once they lifted the blinders of the mainstream media and its restricted view.

We have seen in the media that a few weeks ago three Jewish youths were kidnapped and just a few days ago their tortured and murdered bodies were discovered in a shallow grave in a field close to the search areas. You have probably heard that the same day of the funeral for the three Jews that a Palestinian Arab boy was kidnapped and his body was later found burned and discarded in a park in the Jerusalem area. You probably were told that it was established that the Arab child was kidnapped by Jews in revenge for the abduction and murder of the three Jewish youths as that has been the line sold to the mainstream media. This has made perfect sense as it goes well with the reports of the rioting by Arabs in Jerusalem over the death of the Palestinian youth. There are a few small problems and explanations for these actions that the media has not bothered to report.

First and foremost, the Palestinian Arab youth who was kidnapped and subsequently murdered is still under investigation and the more evidence that is collected, the more it appears that his murder was an intra-family honor killing for which a number of scenarios have become possible. There was one allegation that the youth was found out by his family to have been engaging in forbidden relations and thus had soiled the family honor. Another explanation claimed that the family has had problematic relations and that his younger brother was attempted to be kidnapped a few weeks ago but managed to escape. An anonymous explanation from a retired Jerusalem police officer explained that the youth’s family, the Abu-Khder family, is well known to police explaining that, “it’s a problematic family with internal clashes that have been ongoing for many years.” That places everything in a different light, but what about the rioting?

There are rumors that the abductors and murderers of the young Arab teen were requested to put off their execution of their plans until a time that the Palestinian higher ups would prefer such events to occur to benefit their requirements. As it turned out, whether it was arranged or coincidence, the timing of the abduction and murder of this young Arab teen fit perfectly for the calls for violence to avenge what had all the appearances of being an act of vengeance. The violence across much of the Arab areas in East Jerusalem where two or three of the newly established light rail train stations were destroyed and areas of the tracks were pulled up making those routes impassable even after the rioting settles down thus making life more difficult for those neighborhoods and the other neighborhoods further from the center of town as they will not have light rail service until the damages have been repaired. There was an instance where the rioters became convinced that a middle aged man who they did not recognize from their group had joined the demonstration, rioting, thus was thought to be an Israeli spy planted amongst them for gathering information or other nefarious reasons, was set upon and being viscously beaten only to be rescued by IDF troops who were monitoring the rioting to assure nobody was badly injured and to contain the violence. Other than this rescue there have been no other reports of overt use of force to interfere with or otherwise cause injury to any of the rioting Arabs, most of which appear to be teens and younger adults in their twenties.

The media is careful not to get pictures of IDF or other Israeli enforcement personnel in the pictures they take of the rioters unless there is a confrontation between Israeli security and any rioters, then pictures which can be used to prove violence being perpetrated by the Israelis are worth their weight in gold. One might inquire why it is often reported that the rioters were throwing rocks and fire bombs at IDF, Border Police or other Israeli security personnel but the only pictures showing rioters throwing objects apparently at nothing or pictures of Israeli security manhandling an arrested individual without any explanation as to why the person was being arrested is all that you ever see. The reasons are more simple and straight forward than what is often claimed. The claims are that the Israelis use undue force liberally and that the Palestinians who demonstrate, they never riot according to most mainstream media sources, are taking their lives in their hands and facing potentially certain death of severe injury at the hands of the IDF, the Israeli military, they often add that the IDF is the Israeli military so as to give the impression that these are military troops with tanks and large caliber weapons and everything the imagination might dream up as an actual military assault on demonstrators. The truth is that Israel does not have a national guard per se, they have the IDF and reservists which if called into service are then IDF, not national guard or some other classification which sounds softer and more friendly, just IDF, Border Police and regular police, and there are limited numbers of Border Police and regular police thus the utilization in times of need of IDF troops who are trained for these missions.

These Palestinians rioting know a little secret, as long as they do not pose a threat to life or an extreme threat of destruction of property, even burning down light rail train stops did not provoke a response as an example of not crossing the destruction of property threshold, then they need not fear the intervention of the IDF or other security personnel. On the other hand, should they actually start to advance at the positions taken up by the IDF or security personnel, then they will run into confrontations. The usual scenario is that the IDF and security personnel take up positions within which they will allow complete freedom of expression but should the destructive freedom of expression attempt to spread further and cross the position set out by the Israeli forces, then there will be a clash simply to return the focus of the demonstrators to within their own area of conduct. This balance continues until there is an announced desired endpoint by Israeli officials for the rioting to cease. Most often this deadline is met but at times there is a challenge to the authority of the deadline being imposed and then the IDF and security personnel will move to disperse the demonstrating rioters. These confrontations provide the pictures the mainstream media hunger for so they can show how mean and dehumanizing the Israeli forces are, and how the poor Arabs are denied their right to self-expression.

The known fact by the Palestinian demonstrators, be they riotous or simply throwing rocks, burning tires, setting trash dumpsters ablaze and disrupting local traffic, is that the Israeli security personnel are on very tight leashes with a very restrictive set of ROE (Rules of Engagement) which defines when the Israeli security can engage the demonstrators and when they must simply basically become bystanders watching the events unfold. Since the IDF in particular and the rest of the Israeli security personnel are under restrictive orders which only permit use of their firearms to situations where their lives are in obvious threat and they have no avenue of reasonable chance to escape, their superiors look unfavorably at any previously unauthorized use of firearms from the soldier’s discretion . Simply translated into civilianese, if there is any way the Israeli personnel can escape an attack then they are not in danger and must use that avenue of escape. These rules have provided the Palestinians and their Arab and Muslim backers tons of videos of frightened IDF forces retreating when attacked even by children, really young children. The IDF will retreat from almost every threatening scenario where escape is possible. This was recently proven when an IDF soldier came under investigation for cycling his weapon, this is the method by which the weapon is cocked and a round loaded into the chamber as a preparation to firing the weapon. The soldier never fired the weapon and by presumably chambering a round, dispelled the situation and reestablished calm and that was the end of the confrontation, until his commanders were informed of his threatening actions. As this soldier was alone and three Arabs had accosted him and were attempting to take his rifle, the soldier felt threatened and feared the loss of his weapon thus leading to his overt action which clearly sent a message that he would fire his weapon if the threats continued and thus ended the confrontation as nobody felt like dying or shooting anybody that day.

So, the rioting Palestinians know they can continue to riot all day long and into the night and then when it gets late go home and sleep in their beds. Then with dawn breaking they return to their rallying points and continue where they left off the night before. It is almost like a job and some of the instigators are actually paid by Fatah or Hamas to manage the rioting and make sure that the correct level of violence is maintained. Eventually there is the decision to either end the protest or take it up a notch and force an intervention simply for the media getting film to show later that night on the late news cycle. Everything choreographed by the Palestinians is arranged to fit the news cycles for both the European media and the American media. The media is why the entire show is put into play. There must be the angry Palestinians who have been slighted or offended by Israeli arrogance or other indignities and eventually there must be the confrontations which sell the media belief that the Israelis are cruel and merciless occupiers who are subjugating and repressing the Palestinians and that Israel is at the root of every problem or misfortune. The Palestinian Authority and other spokespeople are already selling the idea that the Israeli teens were complicit in their abduction and murder because they lived and went to schools in occupied areas thus inviting such an end result.

On the other front, also known as the Gaza front, there have been escalated rocket and mortar attacks originating from Hamas controlled areas. The mainstream media likes to refer to Gaza as occupied territory but that is very misleading. Israel removed the Jewish communities and all the IDF bases and troops from the Gaza area in August of 2005 in what was termed the Gaza Disengagement. This left Gaza in the hands of the Palestinian Authority which was overthrown by Hamas and has been under Hamas control since 2007. Hamas shares the Gaza area with a number of other terrorist groups including but not limited to Islamic Jihad and al-Qaeda in Gaza. There have been reports that some ISIS sympathizers are also within Gaza as well as some in Judea and Samaria amongst the Palestinian Authority areas of autonomy. Hamas regulates the firing of rockets from Gaza into southern Israel. The only fortunate fact is that southern Israel is largely desert and thus sparsely populated making much of the area open lands which makes the rockets less of a threat. The rocket fire since the abduction of the three Israelis has increased and since they were discovered dead and Hamas was suspected and two of their members are currently being sought by Israeli forces, they have increased their firing of rockets and mortars as they are expecting a crackdown anyway, so they just figure they have little to lose. They are aware that their firing rockets into Israel are not noteworthy as far as the mainstream media is concerned. It is only newsworthy if the Israelis retaliate and especially if they manage to kill any Hamas or other Palestinians even if there is drone documentation that the individuals attacked were struck while setting up rockets. If Israel sends troops into Gaza the world media goes into catatonic ecstasy denouncing Israel accusing her of disproportional force as Israel uses tanks and Hamas does not have any tanks thus Israel is cheating. No mention is made that Hamas has spent the past six months increasing the numbers of rockets they have launched at Israeli citizens, those do not matter to the world media. Only Israeli assaults are to be reported and then with breathtaking amazement at the violence and horrors of it all. This is the story that is the reality of the Middle East and Arab Israeli situation. The world media has sold out to the Palestinian narrative and only Israel is capable of sinning, the Palestinians are simply forced into actions and violence because Israel made them do it. The reality that lands held and controlled by the Palestinian Arabs must be made and enforced as free of any Jews while Arabs live, vote, work, and hold government positions including vice-chairman of the Knesset and are even judges within Israel is a shocking reality viewed by those who visit Israel seeking to find the truth for themselves. I know, that is not what you have been told, what a surprise that is.
