New Multiculturalism Declines Orthodox Faith

 

Anti-Semitism is rife throughout Europe and spreading like a wildfire throughout urban and metropolitan America. Apparently multiculturalism does not include Orthodox Jews or any other Jew who stands with Israel, their faith, the Torah and the tenets of their faith. The new multiculturalism also rejects Catholic Orthodoxy, Christian Evangelicals, religious Christians and anyone who stands with the Bible. To be completely honest, they do not much like the United States Constitution either or anything originally written on parchment. Do not even mention stuff originally carved in stone, like the Ten Commandments. Our new multicultural society has a whole new set of rules and they are quite open-minded and accepting. Their one rejection is those who refuse to be as accepting as the mainstream multiculturalists. You have to understand, it is all about their rights and the rights of all those who choose to expand the societal structures and tear down the old walls which were too restrictive for the new multiculturalists. And we beg forgiveness ahead of time for any insult one might feel or find in what follows as we are not as sensitive as society now demands.

 

We are now a very sensitive society and we feel for everybody and everybody has rights. The LBGTQ and who knows what other letters are to come have rights. The transgendered rights are very fluid as one can feel like anything at any point in the day and switch a few moments later, that is their right. The gays and lesbians have rights and must be permitted to have marriage as a social arrangement such as civil unions are insufficient, it must be marriage because the Biblical definition must be challenged and destroyed. The old constructs must be challenged and destroyed utterly and completely. Nothing of the old must be permitted to stand, and that includes anybody found holding on to those antiquated, obsolete and hateful standards on which Western civilization stood supreme for these past numerous centuries. Military service is out and the soldier must be reinvented and the military services are the new Petri dishes where societal changes are tested. Women in submarines, on the front lines and in every last place where only men dared tread before and if they cannot meet the requirement, then change the requirements until even the most tender woman will pass if she decides to join. The requirement for a Ranger to run eight miles twice every day of the week, are you sure it has to be eight miles, and twice a day, for real? Perhaps you meant yards for the ladies who want to have that Ranger patch upon their shoulders. As we stated, the standards of the old must be bent and broken to accept the new openness where everybody had rights, well, except the right to limit anyone else’s right to be and do whatever they please, that would be standardism, a forbidden ism.

 

Ism’s are another problem for the multiculturalists. They abhor the vast majority of ism’s, and for many we agree. They oppose Fascism, a wise choice, and classism, racism, sexism and other exclusive ism’s as do we. They claim that these destructive isms’s are all the children of religious belief because religious belief is what led to all the wars of history, well, Judeo-Christian beliefs led to all the wars of history. They have replaced ism’s with their defined freedoms. Fascism was replaced with social justice, classism was replaced with social justice, racism was replaced with social justice, sexism was replaced with social justice, every ill has been cured by social justice. And exactly who gets to decide what is social justice, well; everybody provided their definition is all-inclusive and free of any rejection beyond rejecting those who wish to apply standards. Standards are evil and are replaced with rights to defy standards. This is a very happy-go-lucky new world where you can be whatever you want to be without any pain, suffering, accomplishment or even proficiency. We are waiting for the last of the standards to fall, those standards which require physicians to be licensed, lawyers to pass an exam, pilots to be certified and all those other restrictive qualifications so many of the choicest professions require for people to practice these trades. How so limiting these items are. We will wait patiently as the new multiculturalists get around to breaking down these barriers to the right to choose whatever profession you feel qualified to hold each morning when you wake, or afternoon if you choose to sleep in. One might even decide to change professions at lunchtime. Oh the world will be so much freer once those requirements to practice so many professions are removed and anybody can be whatever they choose.

 

 

It is all about you, or actually the I, where I is individuals and individuals have rights, all rights, and no responsibilities. That makes the world so much more open and accepting. Open and accepting, those are the new bywords we are to live by. Don’t hate, simply accept. Follow that credo and you will be feeling on top of the world by noon today. With everyone free to be free and every I for individual gets to decide everything about their life and who or what they decide to be, what could be more liberating. So what if the new pilot of the Jumbo Jet you are flying on never flew even a paper airplane before this morning, he decided he wanted to pilot a Jumbo Jet and who are you to tell them they cannot be your pilot, remember, universal acceptance. You need surgery, well we know just the person, they decided over lunch today they wanted to be a surgeon and they will do your operation for free, just sign this release form, remember, universal acceptance. Doesn’t this make you all squishy inside with the new world without standards where anyone can be anything they want? It is just so liberating to be rid of those stuffy old standards.

 

Rights without responsibilities are just so darn liberating. We should have special days celebrating our new liberated world. How about an international be whatever you wish day. Never mind, that is every day in this standards free environment. Oh, wait; we do need environmental standards because all pollution is evil. We will need a standard whereby polluters are punished for destroying the Earth and injuring Gaia. We have adopted some things which we do believe in such as our actual atheistic religion because having an omnipotent and all-seeing, all-knowing Supreme Being would be just so like before. We want everything to be new. We have decided on being atheists who believe in Secular Humanism, a new ism we accept. This is a completely new faith where we follow a philosophy or life stance that embraces human reason, ethics, social justice, and philosophical naturalism while specifically rejecting religious dogma, supernaturalism, pseudoscience, and superstition as the bases of morality and decision-making.* We celebrate the human being as the highest form of life, intelligence, knowledge and atop of all things. This is a whole new philosophy and is absolutely nothing like ancient Greece. Why would we bring up Greece, especially ancient Greece? Sure they allowed all forms of sexuality and the freedom to choose whatever one felt they should be and all those other rights but they had a slave class, people who were denied full rights. We would never do that except for those social-luddites who insist on imposing those old religious standards rejecting the freedom and rights which we believe. They want to hold society back from becoming totally free with their insistence that rights come with responsibilities and that what we do matters and they believe in a Supreme Being, how so year zero. They do not deserve to be full citizens in our new reality as they would be such a bummer and bring us down from our responsibility free lives where we can be whatever we decide whenever we decide. Especially those who want to drag those ancient Judeo-Christian ‘actions have consequences’ definition of life, unacceptable, completely unacceptable.

 

This new secular humanism morality is based on the 1960 and 70’s “If it feels good, do it.” There were so many phrases back then. Things which still work today such as, “Life is what you make it.” Of course we look at that somewhat slanted making it more like “Life is what you want to define it to be.” This is still as the base concept, just liberated a little. The problem with the new social construct comes when you add in children. But the education system has figured out the way around having lessons restrict the children. So they are now giving them lessons in how to feel including feeling different. They educate children pre-puberty about being transgendered, gay, bisexual and all about sexual liberty in modern society. Burdening children with this almost immediately before they reach their teen years, like life itself does not mess with their minds during those years. Prepubescent children are unaware of their sexuality and teaching them about such things only serves to confuse them and lead them to believe they are transgendered or gay or lesbian or whatever unusual thoughts they may have as a result. Then their hormones and bodily changes kick in and there is no wonder so many children end up needing help, but even the help only serves to further confuse them as the modern approach is all about feelings and how no feeling need be suppressed. Schools need to teach children how to think and solve problems and not how to feel and be empathic to everyone around you and support their feelings. When your teachers teach that there is no such thing as evil or restrictive rules except that you must allow everyone to be who and what they choose to be. Then the teachers show preferences for the children with the most imaginative realities for themselves, often realities which cannot be continued into the real world. But soon these students with nothing in the way of logical problem solving will be the ones leading the Western World and deciding its fate.

 

These morality free and open-minded students will have minds so open that nothing is beyond imagination and since they are taught that nothing is inherently wrong, it is no wonder that they simply accept everyone as is. What is amazing is how these children are able to operate in the real world, but then many of them have proven they are unable to cope. This is the reason for “safe paces” on our college and university campuses along with therapy rooms where they can be placed in a stress proof environment with calming music, puppies and kittens to cuddle, overstuffed pillows to sit or lie upon and counselors to reinforce the concept that you are strong and you are just great as you are, even if as you are is someone unable to cope with the simplest things in life. The thing is the students are given some very strict standards they are required to follow to the letter. Their liberal, leftist teachings are to never be challenged and they are not to be required to ever accept any alternative to what they have been taught to feel. If and when a speaker has been invited to speak at their college, university, community, club, organization or even at their place of employment, this is never to be tolerated. They must be petitioned against until the invitation is withdrawn and upon failure of such the event must be prevented by any and all means necessary and should such a speaker actually make it to their event, they must then be shouted down having their speech drowned out making their words unintelligible to those who came to listen to their talk. This has become standard procedure across many college and university and now in high school and even earlier such people are booed off the stage at the insistence of the teachers. The students are also taught strict obedience to those who are more, or most, knowledgeable. Never must a disparaging word be uttered in their presence. Many colleges and universities also have added a free speech zone where any conservative or standards centric student can rant and rave about their old and now discarded as barbaric concepts to their heart’s content as no matter how loud they scream these small places are well out of the range of any to hear their protestations. They may as well invoke the Cone of Silence from the Television show Get Smart.

 

 

Perhaps the way forward is to actually allow everybody to choose his or her own morality. The problem is these new libertarians, self-professed as they may be, have also decided that there will be standards after all. Unsurprisingly, their standards are simply defined; it’s their way or the highway. They will not tolerate even the lightest deviance from their defined perfect world. Every form of deviance must be permitted and accepted and any attempts to live by the old standards are to be shunned and forced out of the view of the society. Judeo-Christianity may be practiced freely within your own home with the shades drawn or in your house of worship, but such is banned from the public sphere. Nobody is to be judgmental unless it is to judge any conservative stalwart as mental. Conservatism needs to be eradicated from all life, particularly political life. This has been the new standard for the Democrat Party which is why on virtually every piece of legislation proposed, they have voted in complete uniformity as if their leaders have cast their votes for them. Even if a bill would benefit their home constituency, if the Democrat hierarchy decides the bill is conservative and supportive of the old world or damaging to their craven new world order, then it must be uniformly and unanimously rejected. The same goes for the appointment of conservative jurists or even strict constructionist jurists to any national judgeship. The Democrats will reject a judge even if their decisions have been exacting to the law as they want judges whose minds are more liberated from stuffy old laws and who can find new rights and new liberties in the existing laws expanding their plurality strewn society into sectors before unimagined. Abortion on demand was one such right which was discovered in the Constitution under the Roe v. Wade which was a decision handed down by the Supreme Court under Chief Justice Warren E. Burger, considered one of the most liberal leftist courts in modern history. The consenting seven justices were Harry Blackmun, Warren Burger, William Douglas, William Brennan, Potter Stewart, Thurgood Marshall, and Lewis Powell while the dissenting two justices were Justice William Rehnquist and Justice Byron White. Six of the seven voting in favor were appointed by Republican Presidents, something to note for posterity. This was the landmark case which led to a number of additional cases where rights were discovered hidden within the laws of the land. This was also the case which opened the Supreme Court to the new social outlook for maximizing rights while removing responsibilities. This decision took away the consequences to having unprotected sexual encounters or not planning or choosing wisely in one’s sexual habits thus removing the responsibility for such restrictions on how one lived and replaced this restraining responsibility with the consequence free means for removing the consequence of sexual encounters, namely procreation.

 

The right to abortion has had a devastating affect on the public, particularly in Europe and Russia where the population is decreasing as abortions combined with abortifacients and birth control measures to women having two or less children with many choosing against marriage, or at least permanent marriage, and having no children to restrict their choices in life. Life is now more free but as a consequence the society which has broken into this state after a long and successful run as the top of the chain, most wealthy, technologically advanced and leading the world only to now have a swindling population even in the United States of the very peoples who had accomplished much of these fetes. Western society has reached a magic plateau which in a few more years, if things which us old school fools believe are broken are not repaired and solutions found to make our society worth preserving through required sacrifice, then the new, sacrifice free, standards open, universally accepting and judging all cultures equal will wither and soon die on the vine producing nothing and affecting nothing replaced by whatever proves to be the strongest of those remaining. Currently those appear to be Islam, Chinese Communism with a touch of Capitalism or some other unforeseen group which could prove to be the Hispanic society which will inherit the productive might of the United States. The death of Western Culture has been the conscious choice to place personal pleasure over any societal future. No standards and no limits appear to have produced its limit, the lack of progeny to carry their wonderful new lifestyle forward. The only group reproducing near, at or above replacement rate has been those who have that old time religion, imagine that.

The Murderous Idiocy of Leftist Culture

 

Liberalism and Conservatism can only survive in Western Democratic institutions and in no other. Western Democratic governments are the sole incubators where sheer idiocy is tolerated by the masses. Still, these are the exact institutions attacked, demonized and condemned by Leftist culture while it idolized the Castros in Cuba, Hugo Chaves in Venezuela, the Communists of the Soviet Union, Pol Pot in Cambodia and every other failed dictatorial regime in the world. When one points to the utter failure brought on by all of these regimes, the answer is always the same, well; we would do it better and have the resources such that it will not fail. May we translate this for the rest of you who find this explanation at all appealing and potentially accurate? They mean to say that the Western World, due to its advanced economic models, freedom, private ownership of land and representative governance has grown economically where there would be no point at which we would fail like the others before we would die. This is why Hugo Chavez is their ultimate hero, he died before all the money in Venezuela ran out and his successor, Maduro, was the one left holding the empty bag a few short years later.

 

They have another argument which resonates well. This argument is that the democratic capitalist governance has failed even in the United States due to government debt which proves it is an unsuccessful form of rule and that it needs to die. This is also another deceit, as this debt only became such a hindrance to the point of challenging the government’s survival due to excessive socialist government programs. The United States began well in debt but free of all the socialist and centralized programs and Andrew Jackson as President paid off the debt in full, that is correct, in full. From his Presidency onwards debt was built back up and was still quite manageable until President George W. Bush nearly doubled the size during his eight years and then, not to be outdone, President Barak Hussein Obama almost doubled it again during his eight years which brought the debt from a paltry five-trillion before these two were elected to almost twenty-trillion today and even far higher when the future demands of unfunded liabilities are figured in. The hockey stick Al Gore drew for the temperatures of the earth for climate change is far more accurate a description of the national debt in the United States (see below). The problem since 2004 has been that the political choice became as corrupt as conceivable.

 

 

Here, let us explain briefly and succinctly. The mainstream Republican Party has deserted their base supporters. They have joined the vote-buying Democrat and all but drank the leftist Kool-Aid. They are even incapable of revoking Obamacare, something they had done regularly when they knew President Obama would veto their efforts. Now there is a President who would sign onto simple repeal of Obamacare and then hunting down the remaining fragments, which were buried in other legislation such as omnibus finance bills. But that would soon require that the Congress work to repair parts of the health insurance business and also find a means of permitting those items that have near universal support such as no penalty for pre-existing conditions and likely a dozen other allowances, which people believe, are fair and necessary. The thing which need be permitted is the sharing of these additional costs across the entire share of insured individuals. There is one item which will be thrown at the public, which President Trump should include as a major part of a prime-time broadcast. The statistic which will be throw up ad-nauseum will be the twenty million or two-hundred-thousand, depending on the person making the accusation, need be dispelled with the reality that the mass number of these will be people who choose not to have health coverage. Here is a surprise for most Americans; the Federal Government has extremely limited conditions for when they can make people do something. They can require you have a draft card, a Social Security number, but they cannot force you to buy insurance, that is left for the States to demand, if they so choose. If, by some stroke of magic, a President managed, with a great amount of Supreme Court assistance, could force the government back within the limitations of the Constitution, then our taxes would soon all but disappear. Imagine that if you can. Afterwards, the national debt could be paid off within a couple of decades, even at its current exorbitant amount. The left would consider this a wasting of funds which could be better used for the general good.

 

A true leftist nation, they can be found across Europe, taxes their population within a few minimal percentage points and then grants each citizen, according to some chart or table resembling an alchemist’s formula and procedure for taking quarts and making it into diamonds or the paltry lead into gold, a dole for housing, transportation, food, energy consumption, petrol, entertainment and other considered necessities and additional pleasantries. The people in most of these nations also have universal healthcare and very good public transportation systems. There is one item these nations have decided they no longer require, a military with the ability to do more than put on a parade. No wonder they are en-mass surrendering to the Islamic hordes flooding over their borders. It is in some way strange though understandable that the nations resisting this invasion; Poland, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Austria, Macedonia, Croatia, Serbia and Slovenia with Britain and the United States; the former almost all coming from the Eastern Bloc or Communist Warsaw Pact nations who have returned to religions which had been banned and are holding to the Judeo-Christian ethics, the same ethics which the rest of Europe has decided is useless in their new leftist utopias. The former Soviet satellite nations have lived and seen the depravations, which come from surrender to the leftist culture and the loss of having a Supreme Deity in which to place ones faith and follow their guidelines in ethics and human interactions. These people realize the loss when your deity is stolen, the truth that many Jews have known throughout their history as the first item on all their invaders, with the exception of Cyrus the Great of Persia, forced from their public interaction was Hashem and Torah. These Christians, largely from the Orthodox Churches, also have known the ordeal of having their grounding pulled from under them by removing their church, their priests, and their individual traditions and religious guidelines. Now they are permitted to return and rebuild their faiths.

 

Their experience was with Communism and its depravations and the slow and inevitably increasing death spiral the leftist ideology leads to in a society. The idea was that everybody deserves a certain minimal expectancy, which must be provided whether they bother to contribute to society or simply live from the efforts of others. This is from the basic view, which was summed by the quote popularized by Karl Marx in his writing Critique of the Gotha program, published in 1875, “To each according to his needs from each according to his ability.” This leads to people with lengthy and full expectations while finding that they have virtually no ability to produce within the system. People will tend to work in a half-hearted nature while expecting to live like a monarch. Of course, they end up not living like royalty and eventually are forced into a job for which they may not be suited but any production from them is better to none. Productivity dies and so will the economy and the eventuality came towards the end of the 1980’s as the Soviet Union attempted to keep abreast of the United States spending on their SDI program (Strategic Defense Initiative) which the United States easily spent billions of dollars and the Soviet Union collapsed financially and politically and soon behind them the entirety of the Warsaw Pact nations declared their independence and removed their communist rulers with varying levels of violence. The more violent the ruler’s practices the more violent their removal with Nicolae Ceaușescu of Romania being one of the last to be deposed and probably the one who met with the greatest violence against him and his elite security personnel. That was the fall of one great leftist enterprise that fell under its own weight.

 

Leftists care little for the history of their ideas. They have an answer for every last one of their failed programs, they just required more funding and then they would have worked. The War on Poverty has been waged with ever increasing funding and additional programs since the mid to late 1960’s when President Lyndon Baines Johnson first implemented these programs that formed the base. These base programs continue to these days and have been implemented upon near endlessly with ever more funding for the base and every one of the numerous and expanding complimentary programs. These programs and the leaching of funds from the treasury sapped the ability of the Federal Government to actually fund those things that are necessary without adding to the debt. Eventually this stretched funding to the breaking point where the entire underpinning of Western Civilization was threatened. In Europe, this went completely beyond the point of no return and necessary programs such as defense and repair of roadwork and bridges fell by the wayside. This led to what David Brooks wrote in the New York Times, where he stated, “starting decades ago, many people, especially in the universities, lost faith in the narrative of Western civilization. They stopped teaching it, and the great cultural transmission belt broke. Now many students, if they encounter it, are taught that Western civilization is a history of oppression.” This was further placed into doubt when we see what happened after Donald Trump, while in Poland, called to defend “Western civilization.” The entire liberal spectrum of media, intellectuals and journalists labelled Trump’s speech an example of “alt right” thinking. The reasoning for why this was so was based upon his calling for a return to families with children and for returning to faith in the Creator and faith, which underpinned the driving force of Western Civilization.

 

The main reason that the leftists are so troubled with the Presidency of Donald Trump has nothing to do with Donald Trump and everything to do with Hillary Clinton and her not receiving the gift which was presumed to be promised her. Further, she was to carry on the leftist dream and bringing the end of Western Civilization through the importing of a contrary and regressive belief system. They believed that Hillary Clinton would allow the influx of an uncontrolled number of “refugees” from Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Yemen and numerous other MENA (Middle East and North Africa) placing them around the nation eventually causing strains on the fabric of the nation. The aim of the leftists was the murder of Western Civilization and culture even if it meant the death of the United States. The leftists will honestly tell you that the Constitution and the Bill of Rights along with the Declaration of Independence are no longer applicable and are simply some old pieces of parchment with no relative application in our modern world. By the way, the Bible is also considered guilty of being too old a document to be useful in their world. One can only wonder how they would feel about the Quran because the Europeans, if they continue on their current programs, they will become very familiar with the Quran as their new rulers take control by force, place dictatorial leaders over their societies, end elections and they all, including the leftists, Dhimmis. That will wake up the leftists as immediately after they try to tell their new masters that their ideas just do not quite mesh with their ideals of equality of the sexes. That will go over really well in their new Islamic society, well, not quite.

 

The reality is their idea of importing a society, which values a hierarchy and totalitarian control over the population. They probably believe that they can use this other groups’ disdain for Judeo-Christian culture and civilization to rid them of their nemesis, Western Civilization and its Capitalistic, democratic and Judeo-Christian base. This is far from their first attempt to use an alien cultural rival to destroy Western Civilization and everything that comes with it, especially the underpinnings of the United States. The original system, which they believed could supplant the Judeo-Christian ethic, was Fascism, to be more specific, Nazism. World War II destroyed that attempt but there were those such as Charles Lindbergh and numerous other American icons who thought that the ideals of Fascism as practiced by Mussolini and Hitler were the future which could save America. It did not take long, after World War II the next great hope was Soviet Russia and Communism. Walter Cronkite was a Communist sympathizer possibly in the employ of the Soviets, though this news did not come until he was residing in international waters on his yacht, then he made his great admittance. Communism was the next great idea to replace Capitalist Western civilization. They tied their hopes on the greatness and power of Russia, the Soviet Union, the eight-hundred pound gorilla in the room. They took their time but they failed. The main thing is that anything is considered superior to Western Civilization and all that it contains. The main thing is, everything you think you understand is considered inconsequential to every leftist. Leftists have a priority, an order of what is good and what must be erased. Christianity is considered a danger and need be opposed but Judaism is the source of everything the left abhors. The left has the thinking down and will gladly inform you as to how off the correct line of all that is reasonable is defined. For the leftist, War is Obsolete, Peace through Surrender, Cultural Suicide, Adoption of all Others, Up is Down and Down is Sideways and All is Lost, and Finality is Beginning. Of course, all of this means Israel must become the anathema of everything the Leftists believe and thus deserves to die. The sheer existence of Israel is proof of the Creator and the left cannot allow such belief. Christianity is a difficult enough belief to deconstruct but Judaism is impossible to deconstruct because almost every Jew appears to have a basic internal programming, which cannot be challenged or changed. That is the basis of the leftist hatred of everything Jewish.

Will Venezuela be the Next Civil War?

 

One could say that Venezuela has been in a state of a civil conflict for quite some time. Nicolás Maduro assumed the Presidency upon the death of former Venezuela strongman and President Hugo Chávez. The following election was won by Maduro by a slim margin and he has ruled ever since despite growing opposition. To say that Venezuela is facing economic difficulties is a gross understatement. The news from Venezuela tells a grim story where food is scarce, medicines are usually only available on the black market and one news story even told of a severe shortage of toilet paper, a commodity which has few suitable substitutes. The wealthy fear leaving their homes worried over being beaten and robbed of credit cards and any cash. Gangs rule the streets in many parts of the nations and things are basically in a dreadful state. The wrecked economy is a result of years of central planning and socialist rule taking wealth from the top and distributing it amongst the poor after a percentage is kept by the kleptocrats in the government. Such always leads to economic collapse as it has now in Venezuela and has in North Korea and what brought down the Soviet Union. China has made an attempt at incorporating a measure of capitalism to prop up their socialist centralized governance. Yet President Maduro is doing what every true believer in the great and bright future socialism must produce, insisting that he has the solution and if only the remaining companies are federalized, then the glorious dream will come to fruition.

Chávez began this socialist nightmare by federalizing the oil and mineral industries claiming that they were making the very few excessively wealthy as they kept the vast quantity of the profits while leaving little for the workers whose toil made the profits possible. Chávez spread the wealth to the workers and they promptly spent it and were soon the working poor once again and the two main industries in Venezuela eventually were driven into the ground as their equipment fell into disrepair and mismanagement gave ever-dwindling returns. This is what Maduro now claims will bring that bright future which was experienced briefly at the start of the rule of Hugo Chávez, something which every socialist nation experiences before things take a turn for the worse and after that, it never improves. The Venezuelan Parliamentary elections of 2015 were not exactly a vote of confidence for Maduro as his United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV Partido Socialista Unido de Venezuela) taking fifty-five of the one-hundred-sixty-seven seats. The remaining one-hundred-nine seats were taken by the Democratic Unity Roundtable (MUD Mesa de la Unidad Democrática) which favors a return to capitalist republican rule with less governmental control of industry and all aspects of personal life (see map below). There were marginal votes for other candidates, none of which were elected to the Parliament. Since then Maduro and the Venezuela High Court have ruled relegating the Parliament into benign inconsequence politically, they are running the nations with an iron fist policy.

The violence in Venezuela is only going to escalate and this past week’s activity is just the beginning of another civil war. This one will be different in that the media will do all possible in their power to ignore everything, as Venezuela had been their shining example of the wonders that socialism as a form of governance brings and these bad times must now be as ignored as the brief period of good times was lauded loudly. Just in case the news missed the recent little event in Caracas, a government helicopter from the Venezuelan Scientific, Penal, and Criminal Investigations Unit (CICPC) buzzed the Venezuelan High Court building and there were even reports that there were shots fired and even a grenade thrown from the helicopter towards the High Court building. Hanging from the side door of the helicopter was a sign showing the “350 Freedom” banner which refers to Article 350 of the Venezuelan Constitution which states, “The people of Venezuela, faithful to their republican tradition, in their struggle for independence, peace and freedom, will ignore any regime, legislation or authority that violates democratic values, principles and guarantees or impairs human rights.” The pilot, who could be easily seen in the pictures, was identified as Oscar Pérez, a police officer with the unit to which the helicopter belongs and former personal pilot of the former Venezuelan Justice Minister Rodríguez Torres who has left the government and joined those in opposition. As this was made public, likely be President Maduro and supporters, there were additional reports, also from government leaks, that Rodríguez Torres is tied to the CIA and is associated with conspiracies linking him with Western pro-democracy interests. Note, pro-democracy interests, which puts to rest whether President Maduro had decided that he is now President for Life. Further charges from President Maduro and supporters have placed blame beyond just CIA intervention and placed additional blame on former Vice President Joe Biden, yes, Joseph Biden is attempting to orchestrate a coup in Venezuela according to the Venezuelan President.

In an official statement Tuesday night, Maduro made clear that he believed the helicopter incident was a “terrorist” attack conducted by an unnamed coalition of anti-socialist forces seeking to take down his government. “Behind all of this is the plan, the activation of a generalized violence to make life impossible for Venezuelans.” Maduro also used the incident to press the importance that the public support a vote for his plan to draft a new constitution granting him further executive power, “to gather up these terrorist groups.” Talking of terrorist groups, the helicopter “assault,” where it is not certain whether any shots were fired or a grenade thrown, it was far from the only action taken this past week. There was another assault, this one on the National Assembly Building. Demonstrators reached to the outskirts of the Federal Legislative Palace where they engaged in intimidating opposition Ministers of Parliament who are in the National Assembly. A number of explosive devices were hurled at the building with reports agreeing that there were at least five such devices. These were gangs, which are followers of President Nicolas Maduro, have been perpetrating violence against regions and people who are thought to be opposed to Maduro as well as his proposed new Constitution which would basically declare him President for life with unmitigated powers. Violence has even broken out during sessions of the National Assembly (see video below and note man in the red, yellow and blue jacket as those are the Maduro PSUV Party and often worn by gang leaders who orchestrate violence). The fight divides the population as the violent leftist socialists who benefit from the government support leading efforts to draft a new Constitution placing Maduro in power indefinitely and aligned with the High Court while the newly elected Parliament, as noted above, supports the present Constitution and demand a return to elected governance and for Maduro to face fair and monitored elections or simply stand down allowing for new elections.

 

 

Of course, there is one exception to this being ignored by the media, the Donald Trump effect. You see, there is a reason, a legal one at that, by which the United States can get involved in Venezuela, The Monroe Doctrine. The document was initially intended as a signal to Europeans and Russia, as well as the remainder of the world, or universe if we here on Earth are not alone, that the Americas have a protector who will no longer stand off should there be any difficulty with the freedom of all nations in our hemisphere. The nice thing, or not so nice, depending on where you stand on American interventionism, is that the Monroe Doctrine has also been used by the United States in order to interfere with the internal activities of nations in the hemisphere. If things do get beyond the current horrific and open warfare were to break out in the streets of Caracas, the capital city of Venezuela, then there will start to be soft calls for President Trump to do something because innocent people are being killed. Further, there may be reason for President Trump to act as what has he got to lose as if the violence increases, you just know there will be those blaming President Trump. They will point to Maduro who also accuses President Donald Trump of being personally responsible for the violence in Venezuela against his rule stating, “You have the responsibility; stop the madness of the violent Venezuelan right wing.” Yep, Venezuela is blaming their alt-Right and President Trump for the violence. Now, it is true that President Trump has repeatedly condemned the Maduro regime and called for a restoration of the democratic order in the South American country supporting the National Assembly, though he has never stated such directly. There will be media coverage to come eventually, especially should the violence escalate. The media will initially call for President Trump to do something to relieve the dangers to the innocent people of Venezuela, especially if there should be an attack on the Parliament resulting in large loss of life including numerous Ministers of Parliament. Then, should President Trump act and send troops or intervene in some manner the media will waffle between two headlines, “President Trump Over the Top Action Unnecessary” and “President Trump to Fail from Fear of Acting.”

 

What is actually interesting is that much of the violence occurring in Venezuela has been committed by presumed independent gangs supporting Maduro to gain all the power he desires. These are the protesters who are attacking the Parliament to the point the building is now closed to the public and guarded. These gangs have also been loosed upon anti-Maduro protesters with great regularity making any coincidence as an explanation ridiculous. Military police have been used to quell demonstrations as well, often with water cannons. What is frightening is that Maduro has stated his intention to go to war to end the violent demonstrations. When one understands that, the majority of the violence is organized by his supporters and people in the administration. If one had to make a historical reference, these are the Brownshirts, Hitler’s SA, should Maduro need to use violence in order to assure his new Constitution becomes enacted. Once he receives the additional powers from a new Constitution, he will no longer need to subdue the National Assembly to continue in a dictatorial manner, then he will have little to no use for troublemakers. This will lead to his recalling the leadership of the gangs which have been acting to enforce his desired goals, as they will be useful in the new security department, and then use that very same department to remove the Gangs as they would only be problematic and their instigating would no longer be required. It would resemble the efforts when Hitler and the Nazis established their complete control and simply had the SA members, the Brownshirts, murdered. After this Maduro will have his President for life and new dictatorial governance will have been born. The people in general are opposed to this idea so we can expect a long and drawn out battle resulting hopefully in the eventual, preferably in the near future, removal of Maduro preferably through fair and monitored election, but by his taking any ill gotten wealth and retiring to somewhere in Europe or wherever he feels comfortable, just as long as it is not in our neighborhood. But, in the meantime, Venezuela is teetering on the brink of revolution or violent oppression and they will need to fall beyond the cusp to find the answer. We can simply hope the military will side with the people when the time to choose comes.
