What Israel Must Do if Elections Plus War is Forced Upon Her

There has been much noise lately that this coalition is starting to be torn asunder by opposition promises to the weaker factions of a great future when they defeat Likud and finally topple Bibi Netanyahu for good. There are even rumblings that should elections be called soon that Bibi would be arraigned on the flimsiest of evidence with charges of anything they can find and then the Supreme Court will receive a suit against allowing him to even run. This is their best hope to unseat Netanyahu, call elections while using the media to force some charge, any charge, just to get him disqualified from the next elections. With the skulduggery and political warfare going on currently in some of the darker recesses which exist with parliamentary governments, the fact is that Israel’s greatest enemies are gathering on her borders again. It may just be posturing, it may be simply pretense, it may be symbolism, it may be a series of shows for the public image, it may be an increase in terror which appears as the weather warms or it may be preparation for an all out war called and directed from Tehran. Whichever may be the case; Israel need restate the reality of her plans for any response to a terror war and state it loudly and clearly with no chance for any doubts or misperceptions. These promises need to go out and be understood that these are the standing orders, government or no government.

Hamas must have it be understood that their fiefdom will be no more. Should Hamas initiate another rocket and tunnel war with Israel, it needs to be conveyed that they will be put out of business whether they initiate the offenses or if Islamic Jihad does or anyone starts shooting unceasingly out of Gaza at Israelis. This out of business will be exactly what it sounds like it means, they will never attack Israel from Gaza again and if we are able to, and we are, to catch their leaders, they will be tried for crimes against humanity, war crimes and will never see the light of day again when Israel is finished. Israel should inform them that there is one bill which will be passed into law before the government retires and instituted into the basic laws that terrorism makes one eligible in cases of death for the death penalty, and the leadership of the terror organizations would qualify in spades. If these terror masters think for one second that such a trial would be held in the Hague in Europe, they are sorely mistaken as such a trial can be held by the offended nation, in this case, Israel. Should they force war then Gaza will not remain an independent Arab entity and the people of Gaza will be free to move elsewhere, and after the half willing to leave has sold their homes, farms, businesses and anything else they wish to sell and happily relocated elsewhere, the remainder will be advised it would be wise to leave on their own volition and sell off everything as otherwise they may be facing expulsion if there is even a shred of evidence they or a family member was involved in any acts against Israel. After this area has been cleansed and made safe for Israelis, the area will be reclaimed and made capable of having a population with clean water and electricity and everything has been almost sterilized, then it can be the new front for Israel to settle.

Then there are the various levels and directions of threat from Hezballah from out of Lebanon, Syria or both. Their missiles and those of Bashir al-Assad could be unleashed at Israel and there would probably be only one volley launched before they would receive an Israeli response. If the absolute worst-case scenario would develop, Israel had better prepare for a two front war with some threats coming from deep into Syria and as close as they can from Russian installations. Israel must go through private channels and inform Russian President Putin that as long as his forces, particularly his Air Force, do not engage with Israeli actions, then Israel will take precautions not to strike near his positions for as long as Russia keeps the garbage at a distance. Should attacks be permitted launching from near or in Russian held areas, then they will be struck despite the Russian presence. We will put the onus on Russia to police their own areas and prevent terror or acts of war to emanate from those places. Meanwhile, if Syria assets are used against Israel, Bashir al-Assad must know that he will be a target of opportunity, and that opportunity will present itself at some point. Meanwhile, Hezballah and Lebanon need understand that any war launched from within Lebanon will constitute an act of war by the nation of Lebanon. This will need to be understood as the Lebanese government and military are controlled by Hezballah. Since Hezballah will be using assets given to the Lebanese military by President Obama after receiving weak guarantors that these weapons would not end up in the hands of terrorists, this would constitute an open state of war between the two nations as Lebanese military equipment has been utilized by the terrorists. After such an engagement, the areas infested with terror tunnels and bunkers will not be returned to Lebanon with the new border with Lebanon will be the Litany River. This will be the Israeli position after the conflict has ended. Israel will also be using her full force and might in any conflict with Lebanon and all infrastructures in the country will be eliminated such that it can no longer be diverted to run the communications and control and command structures of Hezballah. This will be treated as complete warfare with no reservations should Hezballah strike Israel from within Lebanon or using any Lebanese military equipment.

Eretz Yisroel from back in the time immediately after Exodus and before the additional conquest by King David and King Solomon with the original division of the lands between the Tribes covering both sides of the Jordan River. The Israelis and Jews in general could attempt to demand that Eretz Yisroel, the Land of Israel be made whole as was First Apportioned by Hashem.
Litani River was Israel’s Northern Border

Hezballah, Hamas and the Palestinian Authority, which is better known and still operates under the name of PLO, will be decimated with its ranks dead or scattered in the winds of war. There will be no reestablishment for any of these entities and any others who are involved when the war ceases. This war will cease when Israel has attained and completed all of her parameters for victory. Their inability to ever be reformed will be at the top of that list. Their leadership decapitated and struck down will be amongst the highest parameters. Hamas should be informed that using the basement of a hospital makes that institution a legitimate military target. The physicians, patients, administrators and others interested should be known to understand what consequences come from having Hamas in their basement. All field commanders of Hamas need understand that they will be targets of opportunity and that any pilot who diverges from mission in order to kill these people in leadership positions, they will be decorated, not punished. Hiding amongst women and children will not prevent their targeting. This is something those who protect these people also need understand, as it may be their lives being endangered as well. Hezballah needs to understand that despite hiding deep in bunkers that Israel has the technology to read their heat signatures from in the sky and has deep penetrating warheads and bombs which will seek that thermal signature before they detonate. As to which thermal signature they lock onto, that will be at the discretion of intelligence and the military commanders of the sorties flown for such engagement. Hamas and Hezballah leadership much understand that there will be no hiding and living to tell the tale. This will be their final encounter and their next encounter will be in the next world. Israel has had it with taking out the trash every couple of years while allowing the real leadership to live and skate free returning to their mansions in Gaza and Beirut. Never Again; a phrase applied to Israel fighting wars limited by the orders of the United Nations or the European Union and if they believe that the United States will assist in their protection, they are sorely mistaken. The State Department higher leadership might squawk and screech demanding Israel be compassionate and show tender mercy which Israel will interpret as doing so for her citizens such that they never suffer from these threats ever again. Any confrontation will result in a final confrontation and an end to their ability to attack Israelis in the foreseeable future. “This is the end, my only friend, the end. Of our elaborate plans, the end. Of everything that stands, the end. No safety or surprise, the end.”

The End!

But It Has a Happy Ending

Unfortunately, the beginnings are an intentional affront and a threat to Israel’s existence completely financed by Europe and numerous clandestine groups and Arab nations who prefer not to be identified. It all started quite a number of years ago when Israel had yet to be formed. The British were holding the Mandate to form the Jewish State. Their first step towards making that concept disappear was to take 78% of that area and make an Arab Palestinian State called Transjordan, today known as Jordan. This was insufficient, so while the Jews in Europe really could have used a place in which to run, the British held the number permitted in to theoretically 75,000 Jews per year. They let in only a fraction of this number throughout World War II while bringing in around 100,000 Arabs each year even if they had to be paid. The British knew that as long as there were more Arabs than Jews that Israel, the Jewish State, could never be formed. Eventually Israel was formed largely made possible by Jews running the British blockade after World War II ended. The really disgusting thing was after the war many Jews when returning to their homes found their home lived in by another family, always Christians, their business run by some Christians, and their neighbors just as likely to run them out of town roughly as they were to murdering them. Jews learned they no longer had a place in Europe. This was made perfectly clear in this incident which is one of many similar incidents most of which were covered up and never made it into written history as there were no Jewish survivors to tell the story, but they became known as warnings to Jews that returning home was not necessarily a good idea after surviving the Concentrations Camps or hiding out the entire ordeal.

The next bold statement of Jews refusing to allow their own defeat came in the form of the miracle of their surviving the six national armies attack on the morning of Israel’s birth. This was after the Arab League had turned down the United Nations partition offered in General Assembly Resolution 181. Once the Arab League refused the division, the entire resolution became null and void and could not be used as a binding document at any future time. General Assembly Resolutions are suggestive in nature and unless both sides agree, they have no further weight. The Zionist Congress and Israelis government agreed to the division, as anything was preferable to a war in which they would begin with no formal armed forces. They patched their groups which had fought the British occupation into a fighting force which only by the grace of Hashem managed to retain any land. Israel lost lands as Gaza and Judea and Samaria (West Bank) were lost to Egypt and Jordan respectively (see maps below).

The next act of audacity was for Israel to win the Six Day War , liberating Gaza and the West Bank (Judea and Samaria) while gaining the Golan Heights and Sinai Peninsula and then to follow that by surviving the initial attacks and then proving victorious in the Yom Kippur War and even threaten Cairo. That was until the United States, under the auspices of the Department of State, threatened Israel with military forces under United States command and the backing of the United Nations and the world at large if Israel did not halt all advances towards Cairo, Alexandria and Damascus and return to the armistice lines remaining from the Six Day War which were the starting point of that war. When Israel made peace with Egypt they offered to return all of the Sinai Peninsula as well as Gaza but Egypt declined to reapply their occupation of Gaza and returned these lands to Israel along with the large Arab Muslim population. Later when Israel made her peace with Jordan, they declined to reoccupy Judea and Samaria and returned them to Israel but left their citizens they had forced to move into the area while they occupied it giving their poorest citizens the Jews former homes and properties. Jordan also had destroyed Synagogues and desecrated Jewish cemeteries.

Israel having offered to return the occupied lands which Egypt and Jordan had occupied and returned to Israeli control was probably the beginning of another plan to dissolve Israel in a sea of Arabs who would take over the nation democratically, but Israel did not simply grant these Arabs left from Egypt and Jordan into her citizenry thus were not overrun by Arab voters. This likely led to the concept which was the real beginnings which came in September of 1993 and had a large amount of assistance from European nations, the United States State Department (again), and some rose colored glasses wearing extreme leftists who believed that if Yasser Arafat were granted respectability, then he could be given a Palestinian Arab nation, then a peace could be made which would assist in ending the stand-off between the Israelis and the Arab World, this was called the Oslo Accords. The Europeans and State Department saw this agreement slightly differently as they were targeting Israel for extermination, the nation and if that included the Jews living there, well, they could live with that as well. Now we get to go through a number of ill-thought-out choices by the leadership of Israel, more often than not under duress or leftist leadership which may have you doubting the intelligence of those who desired the path we have taken.

After the idea that Yasser Arafat was willing and desired to make peace should have been completely demolished after the Paris accords where he agreed that should Israel meet a set of terms which were far beyond anything Israel had ever even approached conceding which included East Jerusalem and borders based strongly with the 1949 Armistice Lines, the Green Line and President Clinton felt good about taking this to Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak. Arafat was secure in the thought that there would be absolutely no way on earth that Israel would accept borders along most of the Green Line as well as giving back the Old City, Temple Mount and all of East Jerusalem. President William Jefferson Clinton must have felt wonderful as he went to sleep that night knowing he had just settled the Israel-Palestinian Arab conflict as both sides had agreed to the deal. Yasser Arafat went to bed very nervous as President Clinton had not come back with any counter proposal which Arafat could turn down, repeat his demands safe in the knowledge that the Israelis would never give away Jerusalem, let alone the borders resembling the Green Line with over ninety percent of the Green Line being the future border and even the Jordan Valley along the west side of the Jordan River, a natural defensive position. Rumor has it that Arafat ordered his driver to be ready from 6:00 AM on and his plane to be ready for immediate takeoff along the same timeline. He suspected and feared the worst thing possible, that the Israelis had agreed to his demands. Well, President Clinton showed up for the meetings that morning confident that peace was at hand, Prime Minister Barak showed up for the meetings that morning confident that peace was at hand and Yasser Arafat showed up for that morning’s meetings with his bags in the limousine and the driver ready and when he heard Secretary of State Madeline Albright ask who was to sign the agreement, which she was holding copies of in her hands, first, Arafat bolted from his chair for the exit. Secretary of State Albright tried as best she could to catch the fleeing Arafat but simply resulted in her standing at the top of the steps waving papers as Yasser Arafat drove off towards the airport. Later, it was revealed that the Second Intifada had been planned before the negotiations had even commenced and Yasser Arafat never intended to negotiate in good faith but was instead ready to launch yet another offensive intended to drive the Israelis from their lands fleeing in stark terror before the waves of suicide bombings.

But the surrender by Israel really began at the end of the Six Day War when Minister of Defense suggested that the Jordanian Waqf be permitted to return and be left to take over running the Temple Mount just as they had done before the war as a sign of good faith. Initially, the Temple Mount was open for visitors who could use any entrance to visit the holy site. That was the initial status-quo but did not remain that way as slowly the Waqf moved to prevent all people other than Muslims to be all but banned from entering the Temple Mount except for limited times each day at the whim of the Waqf who can close the site whenever they choose. They also provide guards who will order any person suspected of prayer or anything which might be deemed unacceptable to Muslim supremacy be removed and possibly arrested for such acts of offense. The entire situation has followed along a parallel path as well. Within half a dozen years of the Arafat debacle in Paris a new idea cropped up coming from Secretary of State (it had to be the State Department again) Condoleezza Rice, who was reported to have privately pointed out the obvious parallels with the black experience in the Antebellum South and the treatment of the Palestinian Arabs, and backed by George W. Bush, who was presumed to be one of Israel’s greatest allies to hold the office of President, that Israel turn complete control and allow the formation of an Arab state in Gaza as an opportunity for the Palestinian Authority to prove their ability to live peacefully and run an actual political entity. In August of 2005 Israel, with great emotional angst and a divided population tearing the nation apart, pulled all of their people, military and all institutions out of Gaza and an American Jewish group paid to leave the greenhouses in Gaza and in working order so as to allow for a basic economy to exist. The greenhouses were torn apart and used to make rockets and launchers and within two years, Hamas had taken complete control over Gaza evicting the Palestinian authority in a coup. Since then Israel has been forced into three wars to end rockets raining down on Israeli civilians with each round Hamas and Islamic Jihad proving to have rockets of greater and greater range with their latest capable of reaching Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and closing in on reaching Haifa. There has been proof that Iran had assisted Hamas off and on giving them greater rocket engine technology and also assisting Islamic Jihad and there have been rumors of IRGC advisors smuggled into Gaza with even greater technologies and training. Needless to point out, the Gaza experiment was nothing short of a complete and unmitigated disaster.

Over the years whenever the Western nations, read the Europeans and the Americans, particularly the State Department, have demanded that Israel, as a sign of good faith and proof that they really desire peace, give a concession of some sort, usually conceding control of lands in Judea and Samaria, to the Palestinian Authority just to have a photo opportunity for the President with the leader of the Palestinian Authority, either Yasser Arafat or Mahmoud Abbas, as they proved interchangeable, shake hands with the Israeli Prime Minister and that was often the actual only accomplishment. Should there have been actual meetings after that it was always the same picture, Israel giving up control of more territory until the Arabs broke off negotiations pocketing the territories gained and giving up nothing. The negotiations always broke off the instant that it became necessary for the Palestinian Arabs to give up even recognition that Israel is a Jewish State. The reason this cannot and must not be granted by the Palestinian Authority leadership is simply because their desire is to erase Israel from the map or change it into an Arab state, nothing less will suffice as far as they are concerned and everything they do is towards that end. The secret is that this is also the desired result being sought by the Europeans and the United States Department of State. Oh, they will never admit that this is their desired result, but they along with the United Nations and most of the Arab and Muslim worlds all target Israel with the intent of her destruction. The result of all these concessions and negotiations and promises from so many “well-meaning” souls has been that Israel has all but given away all of Areas A and B.

But there have been other developments since 2012 as a result of a concerted effort, replete with European Union makings of at least five-hundred illegal buildings, which they claim are for Palestinian Arabs when the final peace comes. They do not believe for a moment that there is any peace deal ever going to come. The European Union was intentionally building facts on the ground to assist the Arab claim that all the land belongs to them. They know that should they manage to force the Israelis out of Judea and Samaria that this will lead to the bombardment of Tel Aviv and the entire coastal region along with Jerusalem and that this, in their estimation, will force the Jews to surrender the entirety of Israel. Once the schemers get their wildest desires, and they will not surrender trying until the day that Jerusalem and the greater Tel Aviv metropolitan area and suburbs are left as a smoldering heap of massive damage from massive rocket attacks of tens of thousands launched as rapidly as the Arabs are able, the final conflict will have been initiated. This will be when the full force of the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) will be felt. There will be no measured response and everything short of nuclear weapons will be unleashed on the Arabs who launched the attack as well as those who failed to prevent that action. They will all be driven across the Jordan River if they are fortunate, the remainder will be killed in the onslaught. The anger from the Israelis and their fighting force will be unleashed on whoever stands in opposition. Should Hezballah in Lebanon think this a good time to strike at Israel in conjunction with the Palestinian Arabs of the PA and Hamas, then Israel will also strike at Lebanon with equal ferocity as Hezballah and Lebanon have become one and the same thing as was proven in the Hezballah victory parade in Syria where they displayed their Abrams Tanks they procured from the Lebanese Army when the two forces merged. Simply stated, whoever pops their heads up and claims they want their piece of the war will find those heads removed in as rapid a fashion as feasible. Will Israel face destruction, probably quite a bit, especially along the Tel Aviv coast from Ashkelon to Haifa as well as around Jerusalem but buildings can be replaced, Israel must remain.

Depicting the Combined Rocket Capability
of Palestinian Arabs from West Bank and Gaza
if Europe and the United States Force a Green Line Border

When that day these Europeans and select Americans envision comes and the Arabs are able to rain missiles onto the Israeli cities, there will be a surprise. If such comes from the Palestinian Authority areas; then the leadership, at the least, and the entire population, if required, will be driven from lands which were promised Israel and the Jews under the San Remo Conference, Treaty of Severs and the British Crown. Israel will take the lands to the Jordan River and that will be the end of the entire farce the world has been perpetrating with the intent to drive Israel into the ground. Israel and the Jews are home again and we are not leaving no matter what the world may try. The Arabs will not drive us from our homelands and neither will the European Union. We do not want anything more than what was promised and the world knows exactly what was promised. They may lie and attempt to steal the land from under our feet but that is not going to happen, not now, not ever. That is the promise that every Israeli child who loves this land makes when they enlist in the IDF.

Definitive Map of Israel

The map above is the promise reached with the British Crown when they repurposed 78% of the Mandate to fulfill two promises, to give the Arab Palestinians (those two words order are interchangeable) and to give a nation to the second Hashemite son of King Faisal, Abdullah I bin al-Hussein, the first king of Jordan. They took all the land east of the Jordan River to the border of Iraq where King Abdullah I’s brother ruled as the other half of the promise. That left the remaining paltry 22% of the land for the Jewish State and this was to be considered inviolate protected by the British Crown. Well, we have now seen that the worth and weight, not to mention veracity of promises from the British Crown have become. Still, this was what was promised. We gave away Gaza but should Hamas be a part of this fight, that too can change. The only promise I would hope could be given is we will stop at these borders and if everybody else accepts that the war is done, then that will be the end and peace will come with these borders. Anything beyond them, which include all of Judea, Samaria and the Golan Heights, but not Gaza on the map as we gave that away of our own accords, our own insanity of the moment while greatly pressured. And the lesson we learned should pay us dividends going forward. The result of Gaza should be fair warning. Does Israel have other problems? Yes, we have our internal difficulties, as we are a democracy and what nation does not have difficulties except, if you believe their propaganda, North Korea and Iran. Oh yes, Venezuela and Syria used to make that claim but making it today would be a ridiculous joke. In Israel the potential threats, which come from near and far with the far being the more troublesome, are simply part of everyday life and the ones from Europe and the United States State Department are some of the most feared with Iran a distant second. The Arabs in our neighborhood should remember that they have never witnessed the full brunt of what Israel today is capable of unleashing and we pray nobody ever requires such horrors from us; we prefer life even if our enemies worship death. Perhaps many do not remember Israeli history when we fought people who worshiped Ba’al which is another means of worshiping death as such belief included human sacrifice including the sacrifice of infants. We fought such back in the beginning and are amazed how little the barbarians have changed as they still sacrifice humans and even children in their craze to murder Israelis. If you listen to them, they are not targeting Israelis, they want to kill Jews which can be seen in their own words in videos captured and translated by Palestinian Media Watch, Middle East Media Research Institute and Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting in America. For the record, should Israel receive her due and have the Jordan River and Golan Heights as her eastern border and peace finally achieved, that would be an extremely happy ending and then we could write about just Israel’s internal needs instead of watching the world so closely. We can wish and hope but Hashem will provide what we need when we need, and that is happiness too.

War Against Israel Renewed on Northern Border

Syrian Military forces, presumably responding to orders from Tehran with the return of Syrian Defense Minister General Fahd al-Freij, who was carrying the instructions from the Iranian leadership for the Syrian army and Hezballah forces to open a front upon the IDF in the Golan Heights and across the northern border. Their response to this directive was swift and immediate as there were four rockets fired onto the heights. The four rockets struck in the Upper Galilee region in the north near the Lebanese border after “code red” warning sirens were sounded in the area sending residents into their respective shelters for the duration of the rocket attacks. These assaults came at the same time that Iron Dome batteries placing one near Ashdod and later in the afternoon placed another near the southern city of Be’er Sheva. These precautions were taken expecting violence from Hamas or Islamic Jihad in response to feeding the hunger striking prisoner controversy who has been hospitalized after over two months of carrying out his prevocational hunger strike demanding he not be force fed and permitted to go free or die a martyr and be idolized in the Arab society. The Arab security prisoner already had six Israeli citizens which he murdered. He claims he should not be held as he has not committed any additional crime beyond the original murder of six Israelis for which he never finished serving the full life sentence. He was among the Arabs released during the exchange for Schalit deal and was supposed to not come back into Israeli controlled areas, which he obviously had done, leading to his confinement.

But the front which was lit up by the four rockets was an equally severe threat to the safety of all Israel. Any threat coming from the al-Assad regime or the Hezballah threat has as its potential the complete range of Hezballah rockets in addition to the somewhat destroyed system from Syria which pose the potential of carrying chemical warheads which al-Assad did not completely rid himself of all his specialty rocket warheads as he had promised as a part of his deal to avoid being incarcerated. Threats from either al-Assad or Hezballah are of such a huge potential problem, especially as their numbers of rockets they are capable of throwing into such a barrage overwhelming the Iron Dome systems that they would be incapable of intercepting the quantity which they would be capable of launching simultaneously. Additionally, with al-Assad assisting these rockets could have warheads using virtually any kind of chemical composition. This becomes even more likely as the al-Assad regime keeps being pushed into an ever smaller region that al-Assad may consider his situation so dire as to be unwinnable. This could present al-Assad with a use them or lose them to his enemies such as the Islamic State or al-Qaeda that he might consider himself better off drawing Israel into the fray in the hope of forcing those attacking his positions to now also be facing advancing IDF troops.

Bashir al-Assad would most definitely desire to have his family captured by the Israelis over either al-Qaeda or the Islamic State as he knows all too well what such an inevitability that might present. As insane as it might sound, al-Assad would want to avoid at all costs capture by the Islamic State, and secondarily al-Qaeda though at least his family might not suffer as badly with them, but most favorably would be capture by the IDF as they would not torture anyone of his family and he would likely face a civilized trial and more than likely not face a death sentence and torture would be out of the question in any case. Given a choice between being captured by a Western style state or an Islamic, be they Sunni or Shiite, the Western style state is always preferable. Thus even if the Iranians had not instructed al-Assad to attack and draw Israel into the fighting he would be better off having Israel sweep across all of Syria and remove all terror entities. This would leave Syria populated by his Alawites, and the refugees returning who would be a mix of Muslims, Christians, Druze, Kurds and other smaller groups but at least there would be no Islamic State or al-Qaeda forces which were bent on his capture if only for the pleasure of repaying on Bashir al-Assad himself some of the atrocities he had meted out on his enemies which included many of their own members.

Al-Assad may not have been quite to the level of a Saddam Hussein when it comes to torturing people, though he did so to gain information, simply as a punishment and as a warning to others not to test him or oppose him in any way or they may not only lose their life but be tortured inhumanly before their execution. Additionally, Bashir al-Assad, Like his father before him, had no reservations when it comes to punishing an entire city surrounding them with the military and levelling every structure as they both had done to Homs.

Al-Assad may not have been quite to the level of a Saddam Hussein when it comes to torturing people, though he did so to gain information, simply as a punishment and as a warning to others not to test him or oppose him in any way or they may not only lose their life but be tortured inhumanly before their execution. Additionally, al-Assad included chemical weapons, barrel bombs and other ruthless and horrific attacks on both the al-Qaeda and Islamic State forces and in some instances on the families of these groups which would only serve as a further instance for vengeance being taken out on him and his family members. One must remember that some of those who may eventually be his captors have had their families tortured simply by he and his father’s rule. That leaves a lot of time for grievances to accumulate leading to an ever deeper hatred for the man. Add in the religious backdrop and you have a potential which would be difficult to even get your arms around, let alone explain in civil terminology. Torture would be a weak and insufficient term with acts on the level of the Marquis de Sade or the Inquisition in its later stages brings to mind. This would be a very driving factor to try and bring Israel into the fray even if only to have an alternative out for al-Assad to place his family; such a plan still would likely leave Bashir al-Assad behind to his enemies and their merciless plans for him and those closest to him.

As far as Israel is concerned, it would be really nice to have a complete summer and fall go by and not result in another war, especially against Hezballah if solely because of the suffering and ravages such a war would bring on relatively innocent Lebanese living anywhere near or amongst Hezballah positions, or worse those whose residences have been turned by Hezballah into a fortified emplacement from which to launch rockets or set an ambush because such would necessarily entail the destruction of that residence. Should the end of summer bring on a conflict with Hezballah and Syria as a coordinated attack, one can only hope that Hezballah would fight largely out of positions in Syria and leave Lebanon as few and clear of Hezballah that the Lebanese are left uninjured by the conflict. A war with Hezballah would entail on the Israeli side heavy bombing and indirect fire on known positions south of the Litani River, the Bekaa Valley, southern Beirut and any other known Hezballah infrastructure. Israeli military leaders have warned Lebanon’s population and leaders other than Hezballah that should another war be fought against Hezballah that Lebanon would be facing a rebuilding effort beyond imagination as such a campaign would rain down ruination on their country.

Similarly, should Bashir al-Assad decide that his situation is so dire that Israel becomes a more favorable foe, he had best rethink starting a conflict with Israel even if he does have Hezballah assisting with the fight as Israel would have little choice knowing the extent of his weapons than to simply level everything in the areas still under his control such that those armaments would not be capable of being used against the Israeli public. The Israeli public is fed up with the constant slow bleeding from Fatah inspired terrorism, Hamas biannual wars and Hezballah or Syria deciding Israel is the more civil foe. Let’s gain support for our regimes by having a civilized war with Israel to bring the people back behind us as we are still the one’s fighting the evil ones thus everybody need assist al-Assad as he is their salvation. Boy, are these people confused and misled to believe such drivel as that but still a war against Israel would blunt much of the fire in the forces against him for as long as the war with Israel was waged. Should al-Assad lose to Israel it is entirely possible that Israel, in turn could destroy the terror groups including the Islamic State and then return control over Syria to a very unworthy but the least of all evils, Bashir al-Assad. A very muted and largely disarmed Syria would remain, warned by Israel against accepting gifts from Iran or others which might be viewed as rearming his military.

If the time is not now, trust that the time is very close where the leadership of Israel will be put upon by the people to end all these wars and terrorist strikes once and for all. When this becomes the domain of over two-thirds of the population the leadership will have no alternative but to instigate a no nonsense approach to terrorism and any overt act which takes Israeli lives will be answered with an unleashed violence aimed at only one thing, eradication of the sources of such vile terrorism. Should the Palestinian Authority allow its forces or those of Fatah or Hamas in Judea and Samaria to attack Israel they would be met with overwhelming force and a definitively disproportionate response leaving them with little or no claim to lands within Israel from the River to the Sea. As far as Gaza, an overt act out of Gaza might result in the majority of the people being driven into Egypt where they can sort things out with President Sisi, the same Sisi who was the driving force and commander of the Armies when the Muslim Brotherhood was driven from power in Egypt, I severely doubt that President Sisi will show much patience with any terrorists in the northern Sinai Peninsula which would bode poorly for Hamas, Islamic Brigades, al-Qaeda, ISIS and any other criminal or terror entity. Eventually, in every conflict there are only two potential outcomes, either the stronger but less prone to war easily finds the situation unbearable and they fight one defining campaign and destroy most of their less civilized or even barbarous enemies or the barbarians tear down the civilization and it takes centuries to work one’s way back to the technological level for the society.

Should Israel lose to the terrorist enemies surrounding her, the world will lose one of the technological productive society which could have assisted the entire region to strive for a better life but an Israeli defeat would be the destruction of that engine and it would be completely forgotten within three generations. That is the point which is racing towards the Middle East in the areas surrounding Israel and even those somewhat further away as Israel knows who and what are the enemies and where their major weapons are stored or readied for use such as fueling rockets, a very volatile location if attacked when expecting a launch. Israel knows something which will drive her to fight with the vengeance of a wounded mother protecting her children to the bitter end and those children will be protected and nurtured no matter what it will take. Israel knows that should Israel fail then the eternal people will be reduced to small little pockets whose numbers would be an insignificant anomaly rather than being capable of being that light onto the peoples of the world which is presumably their destiny. For the Jewish people being capable of providing an example of what kind of a society mankind can aspire to and to produce miracles in science, medicine, and all other fields including agriculture, animal husbandry and such sciences not usually thought about in a high tech environment, but an area where Israel has made some important strides such as drip irrigations and selectively breeding both animals and plants as an answer to naturally produced crops and animals with the benefits of genetically altered examples as by selective breeding one can gain many of those advantages without the dangers of forcing nature unnaturally. Israel knows deep inside that there is no other manner of salvation of the Jewish People should Israel fall ever again and the end of Judaism would have some disastrous affects and effects on mankind going forward, some very unseen and unpredictable deplorable and dehumanizing consequences which would severely undermine humanity as a whole, a place nobody should desire to test. That is the price and the choice mankind will make in the next couple of decades, please for all mankind’s sake, choose wisely.
