The Know-it-Alls Who Know Nothing-at-All

There is a group being brought to bear consisting of prominent American Jews, a group of retired, left-wing Israeli military and security officials and an American security think tank seeking to force policies on Israel of their own divinations using the next President of the United States and the auspices of his office to amplify their murmurings into a cacophony of important cackling. These leftist know-it-alls do actually understand one thing very clearly, namely that their ideas would not fly in Israel even if the most leftist of coalitions were to win the next elections. They are completely aware that the political winds in Israel have changed and their kind of leftist has all but ceased to exist. Still, these know-it-alls know that their ideas are the only policies which contain even the slightest slivers of sanity and peace can only be attained if they are placed in charge. They are aware that only through threat, blackmail, and placing Israel in a dangerous position will their ideas be brought successfully to the floor and then granted the obvious merit that they contain. Their plans are the same old plan of Israel make concessions in exchange for chimera of peace accepted if only Israel would take a few last steps demanding these final concessions be offered in writing and which are taken in pocket as the end of the usefulness of another round where any concession made by Abbas resulted in another lesson in Taqiyya, the Islamic religiously inspired art of lying to the non-Muslim in order to advance Islam through lies and deceptions. Israelis on both sides of the Isle are now aware of the deceptions and false promises from Abbas and wish to have no part in any dealings under the pale shadow which is Taqiyya as even the most foolish only play a fool’s gambit repeatedly so many times being burned each time before refusing to return to the poisoned well. But such wisdom is tossed carelessly aside as these know-it-alls who just know that this time their offer will charm the snake charmer and force him to play their tune in directing the venomous serpent.

Ron Kampeas of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency (JTA) wrote a position paper they published titled Pro-Israel heavyweights press hard for 2 states which contains much truth about the composition of the group and their designs to make for themselves a name even if it destroys Israel and results in more murdered Jews. The article explains their plan as it currently sits as, “Two complementary U.S. and Israeli working papers to be launched next week propose immediate actions Israel can take to prepare the ground for two states and a longer-term security structure that aims to satisfy Palestinian ambitions for sovereignty and Israeli security needs.” They point out that these papers are, quote, “are radical departures from the policies of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s current government.” And then even here the author jumps neck deep into the mired swamp of discontentment repeating the leftist canard that the Netanyahu coalition is, “perhaps the most right wing in Israeli history.” The qualifier is to convey that perhaps even as misguided as these leftist groups and individuals may be; the Netanyahu government is equally strident and thus deserving of being undermined if required for peace. The article quotes the Israel Policy Forum board member Alan Solow as having stated, “One doesn’t know what Israel’s government is going to look like in a week,” implying a threat to the coalition that they hold the power to sweep in on new elections which would necessarily bring a more receptive governance. He also criticized Israel more freely as they see the prospects of two states diminishing as more in the Israeli public see it as the moribund error of the past which need remain in their past. Solow insists, “Taking on the perspective from those in the pro-Israel community, the only reasonable Zionist solution is to have two states for two people. Every time a new administration comes into office, these issues get a fresh look, that’s a historical fact.” All of these comments are attempting to make their position appear as the inevitable and only working solution to what has proven to be an intractable problem. Finally they drag out the bogey-man monsters of casino magnate Sheldon Adelson and hedge funder Paul Singer, who have sharply hawkish outlooks. They add that Sheldon Adelson endorsed Trump making him out to be as unhinged as the candidate appears to be as part of his antics to defray his liabilities such as lack of in-depth knowledge of foreign affairs and the plights of the Middle Class. They have set the stage and all is ready for their grand entrance.

The Two States for Two Peoples Living in Peace and Security canard has been dragged around and reinflated after each time Mahmoud Abbas, or Yasser Arafat before him, launched an Intifada blowing gaping holes in their balloon using bombs, rocks, Molotov cocktails, knifings, car rammings, suicide bombing, ambush, rockets and outright open warfare. The Arab World has been insisting they will rip out the heart of Israel and strangle it just as soon as the latest Israeli surrender has been duly passed and reentered only to patch it up for another destruction once it has been repaired and a new monetary supplication been added with all insisting that the Palestinian Authority (PA) will accept their proposal outright simply because they know it must. Such faith in the face of adversity is touching and need be honored; but honored does not necessarily mean heeded and obeyed unquestioningly. The repackaging of the identical two state solution then trotting it out with it having been repainted a different color which presumably makes it once again new and worthy solution is so full of holes it is not worth reiterating its fallacies. Suffice it to say that we have all been there, tried that, and found it wanting. The difference between us and those Americans and leftist old school Israelis is that we have watched one botched peace attempt after another all having the same items in common, the idea that only through two states for two people can peace be attained. Perhaps it is time to try a new approach with fresh and new ideas.

Allow us to try and propose an idea whose time has come. The Gaza retreat with the rise of Hamas to rule the area had rained down rockets with ever deeper strikes into Israel as the result of function of Iran and/or the Muslim Brotherhood both having some successes in providing rocket motors and even guidance systems used in making mere rockets into guided missiles capable of greater accuracy and thus a greater threat as the increased ranging has placed western Jerusalem within their strike distances out of Gaza; just imagine their range if fired out of Judea and Samaria. Any lasting peace must initially recognize some brutal truths. First and foremost is that there is no difference between the methods of the Islamic State and Hamas and there is no difference in the end goals of Hamas and Fatah, the PLO which spawned the PA, a sanitized venomous snake who despite having the outside washed still had poison readied from the insides. Thus any lands handed over completely to the PA is all but certain to become lands controlled by Hamas and thus the Islamic State taking the fight and presumable glory as the ones who defeated the Israeli contagion from in their midst. Knowing this makes allowing complete control over Judea, Samaria and a redivided Jerusalem is tantamount to a suicide pact with the devil, and not necessarily the devil you know as was proven so effectively in Gaza. Thus it has become evident that the original idea of two states for two people needs to be reevaluated. There is no existing two state solution which would ever provide security and peace for the Israelis and would be a constant threat at ten times the efficiency and abilities than was ever brought to bear upon the lands of Israel. A return to the Green Line would permit those in the area of the Judean Hills to overlook the industrial and residential heartlands of Israel and this would be tantamount to a death warrant. Thus a new and radical concept need be advised, what would have been a radical idea before the Stabbing Intifada which is now a necessity and further has a built in guarantee in that the plan does not require Mahmoud Abbas to accept or sign a single piece of paper, it just demands that he fly a course as it will be placed before him. Even if he throws a temper tantrum and refuses to breathe until he gets his way we should get used to seeing him with puffy cheeks and tears streaming down his chest. It will all make for good drama but further it will make for a solid end to the impasse.

Our plan is to simply offer Mahmoud Abbas what we stress will be the final and only offer available and he can take it within seventy-two hours (three days) in which to prepare for the solution being dictated by the liberating power which freed these lands from foreign occupation now exercising their rights under international law and as such this is the final offer and the clock is ticking. The offer for Abbas is he can preside over a semi-autonomous region containing all of Area A and selected parts of Area B as depicted in a map provided him. The semiautonomous region will be permitted a police and security force which will be limited to light weapons. Heavy weapons such as crew served large machine guns over thirty calibers and over will be limited or banned. Armored vehicles will not be permitted as will artillery, rockets, rocket propelled grenades and MANPADS (form of anti-aircraft intercept missile) be banned from their semi-autonomous region. Self-rule within reason will be permitted as will IDF patrols in keeping the peace as required. Schools will be run by the Israeli Ministry of Education and any Madrassa or other schools located in the region will need be licensed and its curriculum be monitored by the Ministry of Education and the Knesset making sure they represent the correct history and are not instigating any terrorist principles or other mix of violent opposition of the governance. Israeli law will be applied throughout all Israel making all places equal before the law. There will be no mandatory IDF service required from the semi-autonomous citizens though they would be eligible and permitted to serve. All the residents of the region will be listed as resident aliens but may petition the Israeli government for citizenship and should they pass a background check and after they have relocated inside an Israeli village or town. They will be required to take a course and prove proficiency of Jewish history as well as Israeli and Zionist histories. The people who reside in the semi-autonomous zone would also receive lessons about Judaic and Israeli histories. Any person committing a terrorist act will have their family exiled along with themselves after they serve any prison time they may receive at their trial. The citizens of the semi-autonomous zone would be subject to Israeli law in addition to their own laws. The semi-autonomous zone would require any laws it imposed would not be contrary to the laws of the State of Israel.

The Real Truth About Israel in
Stark Relief Graphically Displayed
Compared Indefensible Mid-Section
vs. Annexed Judea Samaria and Gaza

The unfortunate affairs Jews have had with any form of Palestinian political entities would require that the zone be merely semi-autonomous Zone instead of a full-fledged nation is strictly due to providing security and protection for Israel as placing a well-armed separate nation on the heights overlooking Israel where exactly what occurred in Gaza taking place in Judea and Samaria would result in Israel being required to reassert complete control over the Palestinian entity but once granted freedom they would receive recognition in rapid succession by the numerous European nations and the United States. This would result as just mentioned with a belligerent force perched over the beating heart of Israel holding the stake to drive through that selfsame heart. That has been and will remain the reason that Israel must never return to the Green Line, the 1949 armistice lines and is also why any peace between Israel and the Arab world will require their recognizing Israel in her original borders from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea. That is the reality which will remain in place for as long as the Arabs, especially the Arab ‘Palestinians,’ desire the destruction of Israel. Lunacy is any plan which forces Israel to return to the pre-Six Day War borders knowing what is known and applying even the slightest bit of logic to the situation. Israel must realize that much of the world including leftist Jews who would not be caught dead returning home are cavalier about Israel and place their leftist utopian propaganda above the concrete facts facing Israel. That explains the Martin Indyks, Dennis Rosses, Aaron David Millers, Jeffrey Goldbergs making statements which would sound more normal coming from the mouth of Khaled Mashal, leader of Hamas. One can wonder but never explain Jews who would sacrifice other Jews or the Jewish State at the altar of political correctness, the modern day version of Baal.

This article was written earlier for other reasons, but bears repeating. France had held its first conference with leaders from around the world to solve the Arab/Israeli conflict. They planned to hold a second conference before the end of the year under the idea that they would have a better resolution. Their initial conference, despite not including Israel, was unable to agree on a final position. Part of their confidence is their realization that perhaps all that President Barack Obama needs is a forum to present his solution. They may even be hoping that any resolution would be followed up with Security Council binding resolutions. The French are actually doing this in hopes that it will enhance their international standing. They never have recovered from Waterloo. As with all solutions that do not include Israel, this one too will be unenforceable. The idea that any nation would attempt to invade the lands of the fourth most powerful nuclear armed nation in the world is as ludicrous as it sounds insane.

The initial volley of the final confrontation escalated when Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu accepted United States Speaker of the House Boehner’s invitation to address a joint session of Congress pertaining to the situation with Iran and their nuclear weapons program along with updating the Congress on the situation as best as could be described of the state of the P5+1 negotiations with Iran presumably to prevent their attaining nuclear weapons. The necessity for this address to Congress and the over the top reaction from the White House was due to the simple fact that the President and his Administration refused to brief the respective members of the Congress on the state and intents of the President in the negotiations with Iran. This pressed the Congress to find an alternative means to gain this information. It probably was in the mind, even if just subliminally, of Speaker Boehner when he chose to make the invitation with minimal lead time in informing the White House, a lead time which though denied by the Administration did exist as was leaked but ignored by much of the mainstream media with their failure to mention the thirty minutes before initiating the invitation the White House had been informed. As far as waiting for Presidential approval before extending the invitation, the simple fact that a previous communication of an invitation for Prime Minister Netanyahu to address Congress waited numerous weeks before the President responded and the Israeli leader gave this address on May 24, 2011, but the wait time would have been unacceptable as that would have pushed the address off beyond the end of the Iran negotiations making it no longer relevant. If one remembers, the White House’s demand which was ignored, strongly suggested the speech be put off until the end of March or even April, either date making the speech being put off until the negotiations were either completed or to be finalized within a few days as the negotiations had a March 24 deadline for a framework to be completed and the final agreement to be completed by March 31.

The assault from President Obama and the members of his administration started out well beyond cordial as they demanded that the White House had not been contacted about the speech, which was quickly denied and this altered the attack to claiming the President had not been informed as required by protocols and that the President’s approval was normally necessary before such an invitation was acted upon. Truth of the matter which never received coverage in the media is that there is no requirement for gaining the President’s approval as the Congress is presumably a coequal branch of the government and has as much right to invite people to address the Congress or brief them in private without observing any imagined protocols. The advising of the White House is merely an unnecessary but polite gesture and is not required before the invitation has been issued but solely upon its confirmation and then simply so the President may assign somebody or attend the address himself. Having somebody address a joint session of Congress requiring the President’s approval is as absurd a concept as the White House required to gain approval from the Congress to address the nation on national television or for the Supreme Court to require approval from either remaining branch of the government to invite the testimony of an expert in their deliberations and information gathering for a case before the Supreme Court. So, this presumed break with some imagined protocol was the initial assault and that the President had been insulted and took great feelings of disrespect and that the invitation was a slap in the face of the President was all over the top grandstanding. Truth of the matter is that the Congress has no requirement to inform the President of any actions they plan to take and the only requirement of interacting with the Presidency is to send on to the President passed legislation for his signature or veto as required in the Constitution, anything beyond such is out of courtesy and polite discourse, something which has not exactly been granted the Congress by the President since the Republicans took control of the House of Representatives as the President worked with the Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid to block any and everything the President disapproved of legislation wise by preventing it being considered by the Senate allowing for the charge of a Republican do nothing Congress. Respect and consideration of polite interaction is a two way street and had been completely absent in the direction of the President with the Republican Speaker of the House since he took the position from Nancy Pelosi at the beginning of the term following the 2010 elections.

The first volley after the speech which was of consequence was the determination by the Administration an order pertaining to the 1987 assessment of the nuclear situation of all known and suspected nuclear capable nations. The summary and full report on the assessed state of the Israeli nuclear weapons program was declassified with the Pentagon ordering the release of the declassification results, but the Pentagon retained the classification of information about nuclear research in Italy, France, Britain and other NATO countries releasing solely the Israeli report. This was done out of pure spite and was the shot across the bow informing Israel that any independent actions or any diverging from the exact demands and directives issued from the White House are to be obeyed to the letter or else Israel will be further compromised. This action was taken for a number of reasons other than a warning to Israel and at the same time a punishment of Israel for not putting off the Prime Minister Addressing Congress until the White House had a completed or near completed agreement with the Iranians making the address superfluous and the information in the address worthless. It needs to be said that the declassification of the United States Pentagon assessment of the state of the Israeli nuclear program was declassified before Benyamin Netanyahu had won reelection as the next, or continuing, Prime Minister of Israel. Any retribution for Netanyahu having the audacity of winning an election where the White House with assistance financially from the State Department actively campaigned and gathered funding from across Europe and from individual donors in an effort which had as its slogan, “Anyone but Bibi,” which was officially defined as efforts for a new governance so as to further conceal the real intent, the election of the Labor Party Leader Yitzhak Hertzog and Hatnua Party founder Tzipi Livni who were running on a joint ticket under the name of “The Zionist Union.” The initial reaction from the White House for this insult of actually campaigning and taking the steps necessary to win the election which included the honest and correct warning made in the afternoon of the election day as a means of spurring those who had yet to vote to make an extra effort to do so as the V2015 effort, in conjunction and financially backed by the OneVoice NGO which received funding from the State Department of $350,000 for the time period leading to and during the elections in Israel, headed by President Obama’s campaign director from his reelection campaign of 2012 Jeremy Bird and four other high campaign organizers. The final and most incredible tie to the Obama campaign is the rallying call for the anti-Netanyahu campaign of, “Change,” just change without the Hope part, maybe this was the reason they were unsuccessful. We had an article with some additional information including a directive from Senator Ted Cruz and Representative Lee Zeldin to Secretary of State John Kerry demanding information on the depth and breadth of the United States efforts through OneVoice, V2015 (aka V15), and the State Department in the Israeli elections titled Obama’s Deceits Over Israeli Elections.

The direction taken by the White House has been direct, overt and as obvious in its targeting as described by the White House and also personally by the President that they have been forced to reassess the relationship and support that the United States has granted Israel and whether the United States is served by providing continued protection for Israel at the United Nations and other international institutions. We gather the obvious definition for the somewhat vague other international institutions is actually any of the various international courts, in this case the ICC, International Criminal Court, should the Palestinian Authority bring charges against individual Israeli military or political individuals or Israel itself for presumed war crimes or crimes against humanity as has been regularly threatened by Mahmoud Abbas for over a decade. The most grievous of these efforts which the United States has presumed to offer protection is when the United Nations Security Council is petitioned by either the Palestinian Authority or any actual nation pertaining to the recognition and granting of statehood officially often including that said state should be formed around the 1967 lines which is a reference to the 1949 Armistice Lines which are also referred to as the Green Line and was at its forming written into the armistice itself that these lines were to never be intended or used as a border officially denoting statehood.

This clause was added by the Arab League and the Arab states involved in the 1948-9 War, also called the Israeli War for Independence or more accurately as the efforts at the founding of the state of Israel to, with genocidal intent, eradicate the nascent Jewish state by the seven Arab armies which included Syria, Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Yemen, Lebanon and additionally the Arab Brigades under the command of the Mufti of Jerusalem (it must be noted this was the Mufti of Jerusalem Amin al-Husseini who spent most of World War II with his close friend Adolph Hitler and the rest of the Nazi Hierarchy), and command support provided by British and German officers who had impressive military command experience as well as some European pilots who volunteered their services and actually flew combat missions. In one instance in January 1949 in which IAF pilot Ezer Weizman managed to shoot down one attacking British piloted Spitfire aircraft killing its British pilot which brought condemnations and accusations from the British government, revealing they were aware of the participation of their officers and pilots aiding the Arab efforts.

Back to the present after a short interlude into past events and the implications from the very beginning of the saga of this fourth rendition of the Jewish State on the Promised Lands gifted to Abraham and established after the Exodus from Egypt and opposed by virtually every single government but the friend of the many who have received care after disasters or other emergencies where the Israeli relief teams arrive in force often being the initial caregivers and often to places off the maps and beyond the beaten paths, the smaller places overlooked by the main efforts which are almost always placed at the capital city or other major metropolises. These smaller Israeli teams may not be physically attached to the main effort or central field hospital, but do receive support and supplies and attention similar in scope and often building schools and a medical clinic complete with supplies and equipment and also training for indigenous local personnel and when these teams depart, always a tears flowing moment, with hugs and nary a dry eye on either side, the equipment and supplies in the clinic remaining behind and the school is complete with desks and chairs, paper and pencils, office supplies and equipment, a complete school ready for students, and even a remaining Israeli to teach and assist with training teachers. This is the truth, those who receive Israeli aid learn of the real Israel, her people whose love for mankind is beyond measure. Israel has won the hearts of people, strangers who received loving and caring as if they were longtime friends or family as this is the manner the teams who Israel deploys are among the most caring combined with proficiency and true empathy and love for those they assist as if they were angels. Still, President Obama knows not the kind and caring heart of the Israeli people, he knows little of the struggles Israel has endured, he knows nothing of the hundreds of thousands Jews from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) who arrived without a shekel’s worth of money and a few suitcases hurriedly packed and often all that was allowed, true refugees who had also lost their homes, businesses, farms, herds, lost everything and came seeking shelter who instead of being thrown into camps and scorned were treated as the brothers and sisters they were and taken into Israeli society; he knows not of the influx of Russians when finally the Jews were allowed to return home and who have been taken into the society to the point that in some places such as Nahariya there are places where the language spoken is as often Russian as it is Hebrew; he knows nothing of the take of the Ethiopian Jews, the Indian Menashe Jews or the numbers of other Jews found scattered in every corner of the earth and all greeted and arranged for their return to their ancestral lands and the efforts to include them into their homeland.

President Obama does not recognize the rockets out of Gaza as much as he notices the Israeli response which according to him and the leadership of many across the globe, particularly in Europe and the nations making up MENA, that Israel must show restraint after all nobody was killed and the rockets only struck around their town or hits a school or home causing trauma as well as property damage, something considered necessary to note when any Gazan home is struck. He knows of the disparity in the death toll but refuses to actually include that Israel spends millions upon millions to protect their citizens from rockets while Hamas and Islamic Jihad use the people of Gaza to protect their rockets and that Israel not only takes care to protect its people as best they are able, but takes greater care to avoid killing Gazan civilians as best as they are able while Hamas and Islamic Jihad use the Gazan civilians as protection devices for their ammunition stores, their rocket launches, their command posts which the central one is located underneath the largest hospital in Gaza, and basically place the Gazan civilians in direct line of fire attempting to have as many killed by those actions as they possibly can; yet even by the United Nations and European examinations of the casualty lists, they all found that there was virtually a one to one ration between combatants killed and civilians killed, an unprecedentedly low number for civilian casualties for urban combat. By comparison the United States drone strikes ordered solely during President Obama’s period as Commander in Chief and the person who gave the final order for each strike has a ratio of 19-to-1 and approaching 20-to-1, a far cry from the Israeli numbers. Still, the one thing President Obama takes as proof that Israel is the main hindrance from the Arab Palestinians being granted statehood largely because Mahmoud Abbas told him this and it was backed by the Europeans from almost every front and because he believes that the Jewish state has to be at fault because that is what he has heard from virtually every mentor and teacher he has ever believed to be credible and an anchor for his viewpoint throughout his life. We need look no further than his pastor, the Reverend Jeremiah Wright or his childhood mentor in Hawaii, Frank Marshall Davis, his more contemporary relations with William Ayers, Bernardine Dohrn, Rashid Khalidi, Carl Davidson and the Reverend Louis Farrakhan. These are the roots from which the tree grew and was watered with their ideals and politics which include beyond the Marxist and his indoctrination as a follower of Saul Alinsky and his political principles for political warfare and implementation of socialist views which he purported. These are simply the cause for the further irritation over the election victory despite all efforts by the White House to deny Netanyahu another term. President Obama has taken this defeat personally as if it was he who was in place of Yitzhak Hertzog and that Netanyahu had bested President Obama himself when he won the election. This is just a further look inside the megalomaniacal, narcissistic, vainglorious and overtly arrogant neurotic individualist who is the current President and Disaster in Chief who has decided to ramp the war against Israel to the top of his to do list and colored it in red, underlined in purple, and circled in cyan just to assure he will not miss it every time he references his to do list.

There had been hopes that as long as President Obama had apparently decided that while he was more than likely not going to lift a finger to protect Israel before the United Nations, all its individual agencies and the collection of international courts, he was at least not ready to propose any charges or motions against Israel, only permit such motions and charges to flow unimpeded by the United States on to their conclusion. This leaves one last concern, how far is President Obama willing to go on this path. Perhaps we will conclude with this concern in a little while. Apparently President Obama may not have requested the announced plans to begin talks at the United Nations on a new Security Council resolution to revive Israeli-Palestinian peace process as was announced Friday by the French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius. This proposal is similar in nature to the Arab proposal this past December which was defeated by there not being sufficient support to produce the necessary nine votes in favor so there was no need for a veto by any of the five permanent members of the Security Council, France, Britain, Russia, China, and of course the United States. Fabius stated before Agency France Press (AFP), “I hope the partners that were reluctant will be less reluctant. It is necessary to move forward to have a solution to this problem,” In earlier comments to AFP Fabius stated, “Only the creation of viable sovereign Palestinian state… will ensure peace and prosperity in the Middle East.” He wished for negotiations to resume to achieve “a comprehensive and lasting peace accord,” which needs to be based on the principle of the “two-state solution.” It is already well known and documented that President Obama supports the two-state solution and goes further demanding they be formed along the Green Line, the 1967 lines, with agreed upon swaps which is the same as saying that all the Jewish residences beyond the Green Line and in East Jerusalem are to be abandoned and will likely be destroyed within days of the Jews being removed. The current make-up of the Security Council has changed since the last time in December when a similar proposal was rejected. We covered these changes and what they meant in our article If Only! If Only!!! These changes make the likelihood somewhat more promising that it will pass unless one of the permanent Security Council members uses their overriding veto, the very veto President Obama has been threatening to withhold. This makes the wording of the French proposed resolution extremely important and even more important is whether it will be granted Chapter Seven making it a binding resolution backable by military force if so decided or a Chapter Six which makes it a strong recommendation but a whole slew of Chapter Six resolution as well as General Assembly resolutions which are also simply recommendations which become void at whatever point any participating member decides that they no longer support the resolution. Such rejection may come at the very beginning or any time after, it makes no difference.

The final question is what will be the result and exactly how far will President Obama decide he is willing to go. Will he fully commit to a Chapter Seven resolution and all that it entails? This may be the upcoming test which will determine whether or not President Obama has gone around the bend and entered an area previously unthinkable. The French proposal likely will just entail another round of negotiations with a time limit for the two sides to reach an agreement and then if no agreement is reached then the Security Council might be requested to resume deliberations and decide what comes next if anything. On the other hand the French proposition might not only include a deadline for reaching an agreement but might have the worst possible of measures where it calls for the formation of an Arab state using the Green Line as the border including East Jerusalem as the new State’s capital city and for all the Jewish residents to be removed by a set date after which the Arab State named Palestine (assumed) will have become a reality at long last. With such a clause in a Chapter Seven Resolution could at that point, should Israel refused to comply, require military force used to enforce the Security Council Resolution and then would President Obama actually order troops from the United States military to join the United Nations efforts to force compliance and the removal of every Israeli Jew residing past the Green Line? It is all but guaranteed if there exists such a clause calling for the enforcement of an Arab state with the Green Line as its borders, there is absolutely no way in the universe, let alone the earth, that Abbas will make any other arrangement or permit any land swaps as he would receive everything he presumably demands and have it granted by the European and American military might. That would be his idea of perfection as once the foreign troops had presumably successfully forced the complicity to the resolution, he could then request the United Nations remain to protect the Arab state from the Israeli threat. This would place the United Nations forces in place of the IDF in protecting Mahmoud Abbas and his government from a Hamas takeover which would otherwise take place. This would also have these United Nations troops preventing any Israeli attempts to interdict to prevent terrorism, enter the Arab state to make arrests as Israel cannot depend on Abbas and his courts to incarcerate terrorists, they name streets after them, and the terrorists would have free reign as far as crossing into Israel as the United Nations troops are only there to prevent Israeli ability to enforce laws against crimes perpetrated on her, not stop terrorists from entering Israel or returning to the safety of the new Arab state with its permanent military, the United Nations protective force manned by-in-large by the United States military forces. Would President Obama actually send troops against Israel? I pray that offer never becomes available to him in such a manner as supporting a United Nations resolution as I fear he would not even need to think about it, he would do so willingly and send more than requested, but possibly less than required. Such a situation would probably be sufficient for Israel to retreat rather than fight against United States or European troops as that would bring too much hardship on both sides and the Israelis are not at war with the United States or European people and never would take such a position unless such was forced upon them. Let us hope that things are not ramping up towards crazyland, we will not enjoy crazyland.

The original petition for United Nations Security Council to intervene and grant Mahmoud Abbas his own fiefdom cut from the body of the Jewish state, guaranteed under issuance fully backed by the League of Nations and spelled out through the determinations of the San Remo Conference where it was established as inviolate and recognized and rededicated under Article 80 of the United Nations Charter, was lacking the ruse of at least making mention of further attempts to reach a mutual resolution through direct negotiations with Israel. What the Western nations plus Japan realize is that they are obligated to guarantee all the lands from the Jordan River west to the Mediterranean Sea as reserved in perpetuity for the formation of the Jewish state and that the lands east of the Jordan River to the border with Iraq, the land by mutual agreement with the early Zionists, was reserved for the Arabs of the region. This resolution of the partition of the lands resulted in a number of Jews surrendering their lands and moving their residence west of the Jordan River yet somehow the Arabs living west of the Jordan River were never required to move east of the Jordan River but did require those who desired to remain to realize they would be living in a state which was to be governed by the Zionists, the Jews. The agreements put in place did not allow for Jews to remain under the areas ruled by Jordan east of the Jordan River but permitted and guaranteed the Arabs living west of the Jordan River to continue to have freedom of religion and the rights to own land and reside on that land but it reserved political powers to the Jews and those who the Jews desired to grant political power. This was most evident at the outset of the state of Israel where the Arab population outnumbered the Jewish population but the government was recognized despite it consisting of largely Jews as that was the Jewish Zionists utilizing their guarantee as the sole purveyors of political powers. With time the Israelis recognized and granted the Arabs living within their borders under the armistice which ended what is often recorded as the Israeli War of Independence but in reality was the first genocidal war to rid the lands west of the Jordan River of its Jewish abomination as viewed by the Arab League who had refused a suggested patrician which was nonbinding as it was passed by the General Assembly, thus as soon as the Arab League refused that suggestion it became voided. That voiding of that nonbinding resolution forever negated any Arab claim to lands west of the Jordan River without Israeli recognition and permission which is the main reason that the resolution of any Arab claim to the lands west of the Jordan River must be resolved through negotiations with Israel. Unless Israel grants such lands for Arab rule, the lands west of the Jordan River remain under Israeli jurisdiction and only those permitted political rights may participate in elections for the ruling body over these lands, the Knesset.

It was in recognition of this reality that the new resolution was adopted and replaced their initial petition. The original petition by Abbas and the Arab League demanded that the United Nations Security Council negate the promises under Article 80 of the United Nations Charter and grant them by fiat the lands they claim which were the lands illegally occupied by Jordan and Egypt after their unsuccessful attempt to annihilate the Jewish state immediately after its declaration of independence. In that effort to wrest control of the lands legally reserved for the Jewish state there were troops dedicated from the armies of seven Arab nations plus a number of militias some of which were directly under the command of the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem Amin al-Husseini. The Armistice of 1949 left lands of Gaza in Egyptian hands and the lands of Judea and Samaria in the hands of Jordan. Egypt never attempted control over the lands in Gaza but Jordan did attempt to annex the lands it held west of the Jordan River renaming Judea and Samaria as the West Bank in an unveiled attempt to erase their Jewish roots. This annexation of these lands resulted in the granting of citizenship to the population remaining after the Jewish population which survived the massacres in the lands held by the Arab forces to surrender their properties and resettle within the areas under Israeli rule. The annexation of the renamed Judea and Samaria (West Bank) was not accepted by the nations of the world, not even the Arab and Muslim nations, and was granted recognition solely by Britain and Pakistan. The Arab League went as far as to insist that the borders at the end of the warring in 1949 be granted title of Armistice Lines and was never to be used as borders for any state nor were they to be recognized as permanent but was a temporary denotation until a final resolution could be reached. What they left unsaid was that they considered the Armistice of 1949 to be a Hudna, a temporary truce until such time as the Islamic forces believe themselves sufficiently robust so as to complete the intentions of the original conflict, in this case the eradication of Israel.

The point where the forces of Islam, in this case the United Arab Republic (UAR), which constituted Egypt and Syria, in June of 1967 when Egypt closed the Straits of Tiran, a casus belli to war under the Suez Treaty of 1956, and both Egypt and Syria massed troops on the southern and northern borders of Israel respectively were the initial starting borders of the Six Day War. Once the fighting had commenced both the Egyptian and Syrian radio and television broadcasts were reporting great advances and victories for their troops against the presumably ill-equipped and timid Jewish troops of Israel. Upon hearing of these feats and accomplishments, the King of Jordan decided he would take the opportunity of assisting in the final conquest of Israel with his Arab allies. The Israelis beseeched King Abdullah informing him that the Syrian and Egyptian broadcasts were untrue but he chose to believe the Egyptians and Syrians and saw the Israeli behests as further proof they were weak and being overrun. The result was that Jordan also lost lands in that war as Egypt lost Gaza and the entire Sinai Peninsula and Syria the Golan Heights and some lands beyond reaching towards Damascus. The conclusion of battle left Israel in control of the Golan Heights from Syria, having retreated from the lands past that point considering them to be not offering a defendable advantage such as what was offered by the heights; the Gaza and Sinai Peninsula from Egypt, all the way to the Suez Canal; and all of Judea and Samaria (West Bank) from Jordan, all the way to the Jordan River reestablishing the proper and guaranteed border as delineated in every treaty concerning these lands. Israel annexed the eastern sections of Jerusalem originally held illegally by Jordan, gained in an offensive war in 1948-9. Israel also annexed the Golan Heights under the provisions that Israel be permitted to retain those lands sufficient and tactically vital to establish defendable borders. Israel returned the Sinai Peninsula to Egypt as part of their peace treaty returning Israel to their formerly recognized borders with Egypt. There are those within Israel who desired that Israel retain at a minimum half of the Sinai Peninsula establishing her border to be drawn down the mountain range in the central Sinai Peninsula as these also offered a defendable position if Israel was not planning on retaining the Suez Canal as her border. This position was overruled by the majority of the government and accepted their decision. The United Nations decision ending the Six Day War demanded that Israel return lands, not all lands but simply lands without any qualifiers allowing Israel to establish secure borders. Once Israel had returned the Sinai Peninsula, an area of land many times the size of Israel itself, the Israeli obligation had been technically satisfied and there was no actual problem when after the peace with Jordan, where Jordan released claims to their so-called West Bank, that Israel retain the lands of Judea and Samaria and recognize the Jordan River as the new border for Israel fulfilling the original treaties which recognize and are intended to enforce the acknowledgment of the San Remo Conference as well as the League of Nations adoption of that Conference thus making it enforceable by Article 80 of the United Nations Charter and established international law.

The sole difficulty with such an arrangement was that as some Jordanians had moved and now resided in these areas and there was the problem of where the refugees who had mostly fled before the start of the 1948-9 war by the Arab forces to annihilate the nascent state of Israel, all of which had been relegated to refugee camps where their Arab brothers corralled them and encircled them with fences, some even including barbed and concertina wire barricades, denying them the right to reside and own land, work, gain citizenship, or even visit with family outside their restrictive camps for fear they might not return. These captives are the refugees which Arafat once claimed as his dear brothers held in camps by the Jews despite the camps not being within Israel but in Arab controlled areas and held in camps by Arab security forces while the Arabs residing within Israel after the Armistice was declared in 1949 due to the fact that they remained throughout the conflict not posing any threat to the Israelis, some even fighting with the Israelis in that desperate struggle which the Israelis survived by the grace of G0d, being granted Israeli citizenship with all the rights and privileges that engendered, and the same Arabs Abbas claims need to be rejoined with their proper lands within Israel, always amazed me that none of these Arab brothers of Abbas and formerly Arafat resided in Judea and Samaria but all resided with some claimed to have resided in Tel Aviv and even within places which were unoccupied at the time of their departure, largely at the behest of Grand Mufti of Jerusalem Amin al-Husseini who guaranteed them they would return and enjoy in the rewards of the Jewish treasure after they had been destroyed, and a lesser number were evicted largely as they posed a threat from within as they sided with the Arab forces attempting to destroy Israel. The refugees in modern times are the children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and possibly some great great grandchildren and all have lived their entire lives in the refugee camps in Gaza City, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria (until recently when they were shelled and targeted by the Syria troops loyal to Syrian dictator Bashir al-Assad), and inside Area A of Judea and Samaria which is under civil and security control of Abbas yet he continues to restrain his own claimed countrymen and countrywomen all so he can foist them on Israel to force an Arab majority on Israel in order to erase its Jewish character. What mutes such a plan is the guarantor of sole political rights and control and only property and religious rights to the Arab population within Israel by treaty, the Arabs which Abbas insists be placed within Israel are not automatically granted full political rights under international law that recognizes treaties. Israel is not legally under international law required to establish or surrender any of the lands of Judea and Samaria nor is Israel required to automatically grant full citizenship rights to the Palestinian Arabs but only required to grant them civil rights and religious rights guarantees and protections, not political rights. The Arabs living within Judea and Samaria who were granted citizenship by Jordan after they took illegal control over Judea and Samaria might have an opportunity to act on that promise if they relocated to Jordan but this would need to be ratified under international ruling as Jordan claimed to have repealed and annulled their citizenship though such may not be legally recognized.

The above is why Abbas altered the demand for United Nations Security Council to adopt a binding Chapter Seven Resolution using the full power of the United Nations and enforceable by their combined military might to force Israel to retreat back within the pre-Six Day War lines as denoted in the Armistice of 1949, which was declared to never be considered as a border by the Arab League, the same group which is declaring it now a border, by the end of November 2016 instead to read that negotiations are to be reinitiated and completed within twelve months of the ratification of the binding resolution and for the forced evacuation from all lands claimed by the Palestinian Arabs by no later than November 2017. This inclusion of terms demanding that a resolution be negotiated is a ruse as Abbas has no intention of actually reaching any peace agreement which would require that he promise that such an agreement ends the hostilities and that he recognize Israel as the Jewish state and homelands and that there be no further demands. Making such an agreement would require Abbas to relent on his promise to the Arab world and the Arabs who regard him as their President for life to replace Israel with the state of Palestine and force the Jews out of the lands by whatever means is most efficient. Even should Abbas ever reach such an agreement, he would be incapable of enforcing said agreement as he would be removed from his office either by elections, which is why he has avoided holding his office up for election suspending those very elections since 2006 when Hamas won the majority of seats in the Arab parliament, and if not lost through elections then lost as Abbas lost control of Gaza through insurrection. Thus, Israel can only make an agreement with Abbas with a proviso that Israel enforces the security over most of the lands of Judea and Samaria until such time as peace is assured and proper elections and the rule of law becomes guaranteed and self-enforced by the Arabs. This is a situation which has zero chance of coming to fruition as long as the schools are run by the Arabs and by the authority of Abbas and his position or under Hamas control as in any case these schools are utilized predominantly to educate the youth to jihad and the destruction of Israel and death of the Jews. Abbas has only included wording of further negotiations such that he can then demand that Israel accept his demands in their entirety as conditions for negotiations and then refuse to accept actual negotiations and blame Israel for refusing to negotiate under his demands for their complete surrender up front and leaving nothing to negotiate. Abbas also refuses to permit any Israeli position for consideration even to denying he will or could ever recognize Israel as the state of the Jewish People nor will he ever promise to end hostilities by which he means the terror wars that have been initiated by the Arab forces be they Fatah under Abbas or Hamas under Haniyeh or Mashaal. All the new resolution accomplishes is to put the date for the world to descend upon Israel back by one year adding the rouse of negotiations which Abbas will destroy by any means necessary. Abbas realizes that he has reached the intended target where Israel is now expected to surrender the entirety of Judea, Samaria and Eastern Jerusalem, the entirety of the lands gained from Jordan in the 1967 Six Day War contravening the spirit and the letter of the resolutions passed after that war by the United Nations, a very carefully worded agreement (Security Council Resolution 242 can be read here).

What the United Nations must do if they are to remain true to what they themselves set up as international law regarding the resolution of the Six Day War despite all the attempts by the Arab forces to renege and rescind that agreement. The United Nations individual members are all likely aware that the only settlement which will satisfy the bloodlust against Israel in general and the Jews in particular is the complete eradication of Israel wiping it from the map. This has been the mantra of Yasser Arafat and is the mantra currently of Mahmoud Abbas, of Fatah, of Ismail Haniyeh, of Khaled Mashaal, of Hamas, of Islamic Jihad, of al-Qaeda, of ISIS, of Iran, of Syria, of Turkey, of Hezballah and of numerous European and other nations and terrorist groups throughout the world. There is no denying this nor is there any doubt of this by any truthful person who has spent any time researching or living this situation. There are Israelis still blinded by the prospect of reaching a peace, or having a piece of paper to wave in the air and claim that the next invasion by Arab and Muslim armies such as ISIS, Iran, Hezballah (which rules Lebanon for all intents and purposes), even Turkey (despite the denials publically by Recep Tayyip Erdogan belying his statements spoken within his nations and amongst those he trusts) and probably nearly countless other nations, their leaders, their representatives, and even some within the Israeli parliament the Knesset such as Haneen Zoabi, Ahmad Tibi (who served as an advisor to Yasser Arafat and now sits in the Israeli Knesset) and likely others. Despite the grant words and erudite pronouncements flowing forth before the media adding great flourishments and embellishments making everything sound so plausible and acceptable but hidden within is a small kernel of truth left unmodified and stated with minimal emphasis in the hopes it will be lost in the hearing and reporting made public. These have proven to be the practices of the past but in the end the demands by Abbas for the United Nations to enforce his wildest fantasies of establishing a foothold on the way to replacing Israel with an Arab state will be denied and the only demand that will be issued is yet one more insistence that Israel and the Arabs reach an accord, a negotiated settlement. Even the rumored French plan to be submitted at some undisclosed future state will also result in a similar, if not identical, insistence that the two parties reach a negotiated settlement. The truth which remains unspoken is that by international law all of the lands west of the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea are reserved for the Jewish state, for Israel. The leaders of the world are fully aware of their obligations under treaty to establish and enforce a Jewish state, Israel being that state, in those territories and unless Israel signs an agreement relinquishing her rightful claims to said lands, the rest of the world has two choices, enforce international law and demand that if any other entity is to be recognized in the space currently under Israeli control, that entity must gain the good graces by Israel granting them privileges in ruling over any part within those lands or taking the lands from Israel by force of arms, by conquest through warfare, a conflict which Abbas or Hamas would lose and they are fully aware of this fact or they would not be petitioning the United Nations, they would have taken the lands by force already. They are petitioning the United Nations to apply the force they themselves are incapable of producing to take the land forcefully. Should the United Nations ever agree to such an act it would mark the abrogation of everything the United Nations was established to protect, the rights and privilege of safe and protected borders free from the impingement by outside forces. It would mark the end of the United Nations even having the pretense of enforcing the rules of established international law under the treaty produced at the San Remo Conference.

Below I would love to present the welcome to the latest group of Jews rejoining their family here in Israel from the far reaches of India where the Bnei Menashe have practice their Judaism removed from us for approximately 2,700 years. It is with warmth and familial love that we welcome our brothers and sisters both young and old back into the fold. The video of their initial welcome at the airport is below or can be seen here.
