Paris Conference in Paris and Inevitable Challenges

Tomorrow, Sunday January 15, 2017, will be a date that will start the cause of infamy when seventy nations convene in Paris, France to craft the future war in the Middle East. The organizers of this confab have already met with Mahmoud Abbas and his terrorist supporters and carefully created the closest they dare go in granting the Arab Palestinian Authority their wildest desires, the end of Israel. They will give the Arab world the one item they have hoped for ever since they fought the June 5 – 10, 1967, Six Day War; a redo from the original borders. The seventy nations will include the United States which will be represented by President Short Term Barack Obama’s puppet and lackey, Secretary of State Kerry who was instrumental in meeting with Abbas in Nablus to craft the finalization of the formation of a new Arab nation named Palestine cut from the legal borders of Israel as per more treaties than we care to list again, the League of Nations, the Mandate System and Article 80 of the UN Charter which binds the world to that very Mandate System which set the eastern Israeli border as the Jordan River. Also included among the nations and others joining the United States and France will be European Union Foreign Minister Federica Mogherini, a representative of the United Nations, many Foreign Ministers from European nations, a number of the Sunni Arab nations high representatives, advisors from numerous anti-Israeli NGO’s for a reasoned flavor of authenticity and fairness and various other national representatives to round out the merry band of vigilante diplomacy. The truth be told, this is an internationally prearranged lynching where under the direction of France, the United States President and his State Department, the European Union, selected leftist pro-Palestinian Arab nations and the usual anti-Israel third world nations being brought together to give the feel of an authentic and reasoned conference which has the backing of the world and thus is really dispensing justice. Israel has denounced this conference knowing that the final decision has already been set in cement and left to dry.

Protesters in support of Palestinians in Gaza last weekend displayed a swastika at a Paris rally. The demonstration had been banned by the government and prompted deployment of police.

There is little left to chance and the only item which will be decided at the conference is how long they will appear to debate and deliberate before all but unanimously approving the pre-prepared proposition for an “equitable” resolution to the Arab-Israeli conflict, the misnamed Palestinian-Israeli conflict as the Palestinian Arabs are simply the bludgeon with which the Arab world had attempted for years to beat Israel into submission and return them to the pre-June 1967 borders, press Israel back within the 1949 Armistice Line also referred to as the Green Line. After the ill-fated October 6–25, 1973, Yom Kippur War where the Arab allies of Egypt and Syria believed they would be able to defeat Israel if they caught them completely unprepared for an attack. Their plan worked as they caught Israel literally deep in prayers and unaware and unable to recall their military as the soldiers were in Synagogue and all transportation and communications were all either closed or in holiday mode. Eventually the Israelis cobbled together their units and survived. What was learned that month was had Israel not still held the Sinai Peninsula and Judea and Samaria (West Bank) and should there have been additional forces attacking from Judea and Samaria backed by other Arab nations with Israel within the pre-June 1967 borders, the Arabs would have had a very good chance of being in Tel Aviv under similar conditions of surprise. The first and most vital need for an Arab victory and the erasure of Israel is to force Israel back behind the Green Line. The next requirement is for a heavily armed and ready force within Judea and Samaria. With such in place the Arab assault to eradicate Israel would be assured. Such an assault would be initiated with rockets fired from the Judean Hills overlooking central Israel. These rockets would initially be a few the first week and a slow ramping with accuracy guaranteed by having direct visual ranging from the Judean cliffs and the world cautioning Israel to remember the peace agreement and not to react harshly. Israel would be condemned as foolish for any concerns and would be told that the government of “Palestine” was not behind the attacks and was doing everything possible to apprehend those responsible and were very concerned that Israel might react foolishly and hold them responsible for these horrific attacks. The United Nations would call emergency meetings which would issue warning after warning to Israel not to take matters into its own hands as doing so would break the Israeli obligation from the Paris accords which were confirmed and formed the core of the UNSC Chapter Seven Resolution establishing the independent state of Palestine. The shrillness of the warnings coming from the UN, the EU and even from the United States should somebody of a similar viewpoint as President Obama be elected, an eventuality which will come to pass, and various NGO’s, Human Rights Organizations and possibly through decisions from the World Courts all condemning Israel even before she has taken any defensive actions. The one item that must be recalled is that Israel is not permitted to defend herself, Israel if defending herself may not prove victorious, at the first signs of an Israeli victory the fighting must be terminated and the original borders reestablished no matter how long it takes (as is becoming all too evident currently) and finally when Israel is proving victorious then it becomes the vital mission of much of the world to threaten Israel with annihilation if they do not cease winning and return to their borders immediately.

So let us get back to Paris and the conference of the damning. The prearranged findings will call for the establishment of the Arab state of Palestine with the borders that the world realizes is the only proper and inevitable borders, the Green Line and the Jordan River. The call will be for an unarmed Palestine with only a security force having weapons necessary for dealing with crime and for preventing any encroachment or invasions by Israel. As time passes the amount of weaponry required for the security of Palestine will include armor, artillery, rockets and an air force. They would also call for their having a navy with aircraft carriers except the Dead Sea and Sea of Galilee (Kinneret) are just too small to require any naval forces, but a small coast guard might be authorized to patrol the Jordan River as well as these other waterways. Simply stated, within a decade, two at the most, the Arab state of Palestine will be better armed than Jordan, something which will rightfully make the King of Jordan very nervous as he recalls the Black September revolt where the PLO attempted to overthrow the Jordanian government. Meanwhile, Israel will be in mortal danger and likely once again without a friend in the world. Much like the position Israel finds herself in until January 20, 2017 at noon Eastern Standard Time when President Obama gives way to President Trump.

The one saving hope from a world gone mad is that the Paris ambushing of Israel takes longer than five days and the protection of a United States veto returns to the Security Council. Should the protagonists in France complete their dirty work before the morning of January 20, 2017, then there is a possibility of the UNSC officially recognizing Arab Palestine with the Green Line as its western border and forcing close to a million Israelis to become refugees instantly and needing to be rescued by the IDF and escorted to safety. The one item that would be considered fighting words is if the Paris ensemble tries to take any part of Jerusalem from Israeli control. Israel has officially annexed all of Jerusalem and granted its Arab citizens Israeli identification papers, medical coverage and permitted them voting rights in local elections with the possibility for full voting rights once they complete certain requirements to qualify as full citizens. Israelis have accepted that Jerusalem is an integral part of Israel and our reclaiming of our eternal Capital City and that is the one thing which will never change. This is something which must be made clear as well as making the Israeli position on the main cities and residential blocks which must remain part of Israel as even under the Oslo Accords Area C was to remain with Israel.

Despite it becoming clear that the entirety of the Oslo Accords was a ruse, a grand deception designed to allow for the slow and eventual erosion of the right of Israel to even exist within any borders. That eventuality has yet to materialize but not for lack of efforts. The BDS, boycott, divestment and sanction, movement developing from the Arab boycott of Israel and their Khartoum Resolution with the three No’s; no peace with Israel, no recognition of Israel, no negotiations with Israel, and spreading throughout the world and gaining traction numerous college campuses in the Western World, the isolation of Israel was looking to make inroads. Within the past year the BDS has seen setbacks as governments in numerous cities and states in the United States and elsewhere, it required a boost which came almost as if scripted by some unseen director with the recent UNSC Chapter Six Advisory Resolution 2334 which declared that Israel had no legal claims to Area C thus voiding UNSC Res. 242 and the Oslo Accords setting an entirely new perception to the eventual resolution of the Arab-Israeli conflict. President Obama through the backdoor arrangement of UNSC Res. 2334 wording and particular specification delineating the abrogation of all Israeli rights presumably on the international stage, the world has set up a situation where another war is all but guaranteed in the Middle East unsettling any semblance of balance and leeway for actual negotiations to take place. The next step, should this procedural intention play out fully, would be to demand that Israel surrender every inch of lands they gained during their defensive efforts in the Six Day War. The world is treading on thin ice and teetering on the edge of falling through and unless in Paris a miracle occurs and the world decides to step away from the insanity and frantic attempts by President Obama to force a resolution which will only set up a situation with no good solution just to pretend he deserved that Nobel Peace Prize. It is borderline insanity to potentially force a predicament which could result in a dangerous faceoff between the United Nations Security Council, Israel and the viability and enforcement of President Obama taking a final shot in his vendetta against the Jewish State which it appears his aim had been its destruction from day one. That is the only way his frantic end of term insanity forcing solutions where none exist as well as his guaranteeing that Iran will become a nuclear armed nations with as many if not more nuclear weapons than all but the big three, United States, Russia and China, and possibly Iran will make that the big four and the world will live on borrowed time thereafter. Oh what has the world wrought and how can that tension be released peaceably? Perhaps it cannot and the result will become the real legacy for President Obama. Too bad so few might survive that legacy should it really turn for the worst. But then again, transforming the United States, specifically its relationship with the Jewish State, with Israel, has been the aim all along and was likely the most prominent piece of America Barack Hussein Obama had intended to mortally wound from the very start. He sure went after this first, last and consistently the hardest.

So Trump Took a Call from a Woman, Big Deal

President Elect Trump has been being roasted for taking a phone call from a woman, a Chinese woman, an important Chinese Woman, an Important Chinese woman who happens to be Taiwanese President Tsai Ing-wen. The Mainland Chinese (some still refer to them as Red China, imagine that) Dictator’s underlings Foreign Minister Wang Yi and another Foreign Ministry spokesperson Geng Shuang went on the record demanding that President elect Trump recommit to the One-China Policy. Wow, are they overly-sensitive or just really insecure and jumpy? He exchanged congratulations with another recently elected President of a nation which the United States forsook in exchange for their one-billion-three-hundred-eighty-one-million give-or-take a few million potential customers and inexpensive workers over the paltry twenty-three-and-a-half-million potential customers and more expensive workers. Red China (see above, we’re troglodytes and use old terms) need not worry, their place as the main supplier for WalMart is secure. Some people really get bent out of shape jealous if you talk to their rival suspecting you don’t love them anymore. Don’t worry Red China, or with their new capitalism is it now Pink China, America never really loved you in the first place, it just made economic sense to pretend America threw our friends in Taiwan overboard. Wait until America sends them more arms and you really go bat-crazy on us for selling arms to one of your claimed provinces. What, you don’t want your provinces armed or just this province? Get serious and maybe America will as well.

Let’s get honest here. If you asked the man on the street in any major city which nation the United States recognizes and has relations with and made them choose between Taiwan (and you explained that was also called Formosa and was often called free China) or Mainland China (and informed them it was also Communist China and previously called Red China) the total would overwhelmingly choose Taiwan. That is who the American people desire as their friend, until they would find out things in WalMart would have their prices rise, then they would pick Red China, oops, sorry, Mainland China. The Americans know who their real friends are and who assists North Korea with their nuclear program and thus assist Iran with their nuclear program. They are not the ignorant rubes you have been told they are; they just are mostly hard working and need to worry more about feeding their families, clothing their families and keeping a roof over the heads of their families and do not really have tons of time to keep up on foreign affairs. Anyway, if they know any history, then they know that should a war break out, then one really decides who they side with and who is required to put down the infinitely worst enemy which may or may not require siding with a lesser current enemy. When that war is over, we can go back to disliking whomever we choose and this applies to all nations. Israel would even side with Saudi Arabia and Egypt against Iran and there is nobody we can think of at the moment which would have us ally with Iran, they count as worst enemy. Not to worry, that was not exactly a secret.

Back to Mainland China and getting serious. The United States remade their bed in the Far East all the way back in 1979 and tossed Taiwan to the seven winds of fate and allied officially with Mainland China in order to actually recognize them in the Security Council of the United Nations and allow for formal trade relations and a billion other things; they are called potential customers and the makings of a very large military force if necessary, also called the Chinese people. Still, every decade or so the United States takes a risk and modernizes the Taiwanese military with a large weapons deal and Mainland China goes ballistic and whoever is the President grovels for a while promising that he will never allow such a deal again. That President keeps his word but that word does not apply to the following Presidents. We suspect that there will probably be one of these explosions should Donald Trump be reelected as such deals are most often executed during second terms so as to minimize the damage to reelection chances. It looks bad when your opponent can label you a treaty breaker and unreliable and all those nasty things and actually have proof in the form of Mainland China. Then again, Donald Trump has not exactly been a by the book kind of guy though many of his cabinet picks have been from the right wing conservative branch of the Republican Party, that might be a twig that far out on the right wing when you get to Retired Marine General James “Mad Dog” Mattis for your Secretary of Defense, a choice we heartily love and approve.

The flap over the phone call was very similar in the mainstream media as it was to the choice of General James “Mad Dog” Mattis for your Secretary of Defense. Retired Army Lieutenant General Michael Flynn as National Security Advisor will likely continue to ruffle the feathers of the snowflakes reporting for NPR and the self-proclaimed objective media. I mean two former military men, what is Trump planning for, a war, an invasion, against whom? Well, the far left would be our guess as it appears they are gearing up for the long war, may it last twenty years as that is what is required to restore from the damage done since the assuming of the Presidency by Lyndon Baines Johnson after the assassination of John F. Kennedy. Reagan checked the damage temporarily but with a Republican Congress, if the leadership can get their acts together, Trump can make real gains in restoring sanity and deregulating small businesses which get caught in the regulations battle the government claims to be using to check the “Big Guys.” The aims of these regulations almost always are skirted by the “Big Guys” and squarely smack the small businessman when he tries to progress and build his business. For far too long the government has actually been in the business of making sure the wealthy remain wealthy with no taxes or levies against wealth but with tons of taxes and other fees and regulations to prevent anybody else becoming wealthy and challenging the existing moneyed interests. Sure there are exceptions, but that is the problem, there are exceptions and it is not the normal flow for the little guy to make it big. We can hope Trump is different but that remains to be seen.

Uncle Donald Wants You

Reince Priebus is one choice which should be about as milquetoast and scrambled eggs as one can get. He will make the smallest ripples but does know how the Republican machine works, though many might claim the machine malfunctions more than running smoothly. Reince Priebus is one person who could quietly still get what Trump needs going and is far less controversial than say Newt Gingrich who would have been another good choice to get results but at what costs. Stephen Bannon is another choice which the media will blast as being bigoted and troublesome but he is no paleo-conservative and is more the middle of the road conservative with good monitoring for the mood of Congress and world affairs and should be an asset. The claims against Jeff Sessions and the regurgitating of his lynching by a Democrat Congress which also gave us the expression of somebody being Borked after the treatment which culminated on the rejection of Judge Robert Bork for a Supreme Court nomination where innuendo and snide commentary proved enough to slur the good name of a competent and righteous juror who would have been an asset and great Supreme Court Judge and would likely have been nominated to be Chief Justice instead of Roberts had he been on the court. His loss and the lynching of Jeff Sessions will be recorded as stains on the reputation of the members of that Congress who performed their positions in the Senate as more a lynch mob than an approval and validating body.

Rudy Giuliani, Mitt Romney, and David Patraeus have all been names floated for Secretary of State. David Patraeus should not be a viable choice despite his qualifications and proven work ethic but it is his ethics which failed as he shared classified information with a person not cleared to receive such privilege. That was just as wrong as Hillary Clinton’s transgressions even if to a much lesser degree and he served his time and lost his position and should remain that way at the very least at this time. Perhaps in a second term but not up front. As far as between Mitt Romney and Rudy Giuliani it comes down to what attitude does Donald Trump prefer to be the face of the United States? He has already made one choice in such a position with Nikki Haley as the United Nations Ambassador where her straight forward style will be refreshing and her professionalism a statement to the world that the United States takes reasoned and solid stances and represents exactly what they claim to be. Rudy Giuliani would be a similar, if not more vocal and sharply stated, style appointee and would make for a great compliment to Nikki Haley with both being out front kind of people and shy wallflowers. Mitt Romney, on the other hand, is a quiet, professional choice who would be a good negotiator though very unlikely to be brash or grating. His style is grace and competence will win the day as long as one remain steadfast and steady on the path and refuses quietly but still forcefully to stand their ground. The main problem with Mitt Romney is he screams Republican political tool and would offend many Trump supporters which is why he will be the media favorite.

Other choices, include Steven Mnuchin for Secretary of the Treasury who was chosen from the media film and Wall Street business world. Wilbur Ross for Commerce Secretary comes from a venture investment capitalist background where he rescued failing companies often making them profitable. Such work does not make one popular, especially if you are successful as often one is required to step on more than a few toes and restructure companies releasing sometimes most of a workforce. He will be interesting to monitor. Elaine Chao as Secretary of Transportation will make an excellent choice. Not only a woman but a minority woman with impeccable abilities and great loyalty to those she works with. She was Secretary of Labor under George W. Bush for eight years, making her the only cabinet member to serve his entire term. Mike Pompeo for Director of the CIA is an Army veteran who spent years as a businessman before entering politics, now in Congress, voted as a Tea Party candidate from Kansas, and sits on the House Intelligence Committee which gives him the necessary experience factor. Still to cover are Tom Price as Secretary of Health and Human Services and Betsy DeVos for Secretary of Education; both of which have the needed qualifications but are really lesser known Republican Party regulars and should prove efficient in calming any jitters from the Party elites. Will the elites of the Republican Party be mollified? Not likely, but they will have less than they expected to use as pry bars when speaking to the media, and that will be an asset in and of itself. In all too many ways, the detractors of Donald Trump and his performance as President are jumping the gun slightly as he has not taken office or even cleared the Elector College which meets to vote later this month. The actions of some Republican Party elites, many in the media and now Mainland (Red) China are all very similar in that they grab ahold of a single incident, a particular appointee or any other item even as small as a tweet and just sink their teeth in and, like a bulldog, refuse to release and will remain attached in attack mode even if it kills their credibility because they are serving the cause. What cause? Don’t ask us, ask them. They probably believe they are serving some purpose saving the party, nation, free world or even the planet, possibly the solar system; and this drives them right over the edge, we would say beyond the cusp, but whatever edge they are running off, it is not here.

Ya’alon Backhand Slaps Bibi and Israel

The dust-up in Israel started small, as these things almost always do, then grew exponentially before exploding onto every newswire almost as fast as the anti-Zionist, anti-Israel and anti-Semitic haters were twittering and alternately flooding the electronic air salivating at their fresh meat which was falling into their laps by the minute. The initial comment was made by IDF Deputy Chief of Staff Yair Golan commented at a Holocaust Remembrance Day memorial. The unkempt and unacceptable comment made all the worse by coming from IDF Deputy Chief of Staff was, “If there’s something that frightens me about Holocaust remembrance it’s the recognition of the revolting processes that occurred in Europe in general, and particularly in Germany, back then – 70, 80 and 90 years ago – and finding signs of them here among us today in 2016.” There were reactions to the statement but nothing for reporters to write home, or the office, about as the General backtracked off and claimed he worded his comments poorly. That would have been the end of it had it been allowed to die a natural death but such was not to be the case.

Prime Minister Netanyahu made a discreet demand that military officers, security officers and other ranking security personnel, and double for the general staff, need watch their comments and be wary that what they say could be harmful for Israel. He did not call General Golan out or place him on the carpet for a dressing down, just a quiet semi-public statement. Then the Defense Minister felt he should defend the honor of his general staff. The thing is that too many high ranking military and security personnel both still in service or recently retired have made references equating Israel to many unsavory references such a Nazis amongst others. Ya’alon calling for the Generals and other officers to speak their minds even if everything they say runs contrary to the ruling government positions. This was an assault made directly challenging the Prime Minister which would normally have that Minister not only removed from his position but removed from the Likud Party and any government position with the ruling coalition. Instead Prime Minister Netanyahu offered Ya’alon the position of Foreign Minister after removing him from his position as Defense Minister which was to be given to Avigdor Lieberman in exchange for bringing his Yisrael Beiteinu Party into the coalition strengthening their hold on power and making it a little more secure. Ya’alon refused the change of ministerial position and instead left the government but it was his parting statements made to the media which were the makings of a disaster and a scandal.

Avigdor Lieberman Bibi Netanyahu and Moshe Ya'alon The Love/Hate Boat Cruise Line

Avigdor Lieberman Bibi Netanyahu and Moshe Ya’alon
The Love/Hate Boat Cruise Line

Of Ya’alon’s parting shots, the first was used as an initial shot across Prime Minister Netanyahu’s bow stating, “To my great regret, extremist and dangerous forces have taken over Israel and the Likud movement.” This was his follow-up Benjamin Netanyahu claiming his having a, “lack of confidence” in the government’s ruling coalition, the Prime Minister’s decision-making and morals and fearing the coming cruel submission of the officers in what he had come to view as his own Israeli Defense Force (IDF). Perhaps that was where the problem really began, Ya’alon saw the IDF as his own personal friends and was more to serve him and be his political weapons to use to ascertain the leadership of Likud and being the new Prime Minister. He apparently had it all figured out except for the part where the military does not set policy, it carries out policies given them by the government and serves the people of Israel, all of them. But Ya’alon was nowhere near finished with the attacks. His next whine complained stating to the delight of all IDF and Israel detractors, “I fought with all my might against manifestations of extremism, violence and racism in Israeli society, which are threatening its sturdiness and trickling into the armed forces, hurting it already,” We are not quite sure what Israel he resides within but the people we know hold no animus against anyone or any group unless some individual has committed an act of unfounded violence against others as such a person would be a pariah here just as it would in almost any civil society.

This was far from the first time a conflict was spawned by IDF Deputy Chief of Staff Yair Golan; as back in 2006, IDF Deputy Chief of Staff Yair Golan said it was “intolerable” that Israeli soldiers place Palestinian civilians in harm’s way instead of themselves: “In the presence of civilians we take risks upon ourselves, and rightly so. It’s unacceptable that in the name of preventing risk we would decide that now we are going to mow down an apartment building. You would kill women, children, those involved. It’s intolerable.” The item about Minister Ya’alon’s statement is that, as he was a member of the government and in the Cabinet of the Prime Minister, everything he said was news worthy and considered important. When a Defense Minister supports statements made against the ruling coalition the media properly takes note and this makes the coalition weaker and weakens the Prime Minister. Such a statement would have been denounced even if stated by the leader of the opposition as such a statement against the Prime Minister meant to weaken his hold on power and directly challenging him is asking for the full weight to be brought against one. Now, in the end, Prime Minister Netanyahu survived this assault and potential hostile take-over of the government with graceful style and also strengthened the ruling coalition by adding the Yisrael Beiteinu Party to the coalition adding to the original slim margin making the defection of one minister less of a challenge. By also offering Ya’alon the position of Foreign Minister, Prime Minister Netanyahu was offering to lessen the blow of the removal from Defense Minister and was providing Ya’alon a promotion of sorts and a higher position according to many sources. This was not as much a declaration of disrespect of Ya’alon as he has now made it out to be but rather carefully guiding him within the Inner Cabinet from Defense to Foreign Minister which while bringing in another coalition member strengthens the coalition and this government definitely now is stronger for the shake-up.

Still there are some worrisome things worthy of note. The fact that the military had taken upon itself the mantle of ruling through media releases, embarrassing members of the Government and were very quickly running amuck was evidenced further by this entire incident. There had been previous attempts by leftists high in the military to rule or embarrass any government which was not to their liking and these moments had the gleeful coverage desired from the leftist media in Israel, Europe and beyond. One example as the chief of staff of then Israel Defense Forces, Gadi Eisenkot, in a lecture to high school students recently warned that “the IDF cannot speak in slogans such as ‘if someone comes to kill you, arise to kill them first’ (an edict taken from Talmud and reportedly used by rightwing supporters and not of the current government which has been quiet until recent about such statements, a potential mistake)” and said “I don’t want a soldier to empty a (rifle) magazine on a 13 year-old girl with scissors”. What is the effect of Eisenkot’s statement on an already anti-Semitic global public opinion, which daily charges Israel of a “disproportionate” response during the Third Intifada?

Ya'alon and General Staff

Ya’alon and General Staff

Such statements and other actions made by these upper echelon leftist officers follow the same path as did the Oslo Accords, the Roadmap and so many other attempts which take the form of placing Arab Palestinian demands and stipulations above the interests of the people of Israel and especially those residing in Judea and Samaria, then ceding lands to their control removing any Israeli claim no matter the correct and historically significant the Jewish claims to such lands and finally handing them excuses for murdering Jews before the international and often antagonistic media. Such insubordination while supported and loved by the members of the European Union and the individual governments as well as those who are backing efforts from the far left and right in the United States to tear down the relations and deep ties between the United States and Israel was a welcome series of events. The anti-Semites had a field day with comments such as those quoted above and will continue to take such statements to heart as they hurt any Zionist or Pro-Israel group. The IDF should have seen their ranking general staffs decimated as a cleaning out is in order should the Prime Minister desire to remold the military complex with generals more sympathetic to the Zionist cause and more in line with the government as many of these generals were likely left from when promotions to the general staff were made by left-leaning governments and are paying their empowering interests back in spades.

Whether the Prime Minister takes any moves to alter the General ranks is up to him and those he trusts. At least one excuse making, surrender firsters is no longer within the government poisoning it from within. We can all expect Ya’alon to continue and fulfill his threat to return and take power in the future, whether from within Likud or as head of a new faction was left unclear. It would not even be surprising to see his name as a new leader within Tzipi Livni’s ranks and her seemingly moribund Party. Wherever Ya’alon crawls off to, if it is outside of Likud or even if he remains in Likud it should be expected that he will join those unsavory post-Zionists who likely believe that Israel should be an open democracy as even should the Arab Islamists take control of the government they would be unable to remove the Jewish population and would rule in a similar manner as do current governments as the Constitution, a non-existent constitution which they likely were referring to the Basic Laws would still allow for freedom of speech, religion and all the other trappings of the Israeli multicultural society. There would be no problem if the Islamic State and Hamas came to power as the laws would constrain their actions. Yes, sounds simply Kumbaya and a few other campfire songs from summer camp back when we were all younger and dreams were large and Israel even less in size and was supported by the left as a socialist paradise. Israel is still a paradise with quite a few problems of which this is just one of the most damning to come to bear against our existence. We have survived as more diligent heads come from all sides with a clear vision of the threats; it is simply Ya’alon and a number of perfumed princes playing at general staff position who are necessarily a threat to each and every last one of us. That is our dog in this fight and we should never forget the extents that the leftists went to overthrow the elected government here and that was truly frightening. Slowly but inexorably many holding these positions are being removed from their seats of power and in time we may be in a different and better place and many here can hardly wait. Such is life here in Israel.
