Stopping Trump More Important than Serving the People

 

There is a revolution going on and it is being fought on every conceivable front. The media is using every type, traditional, social and new, and taking this fight to the highest pitches to screaming from hilltops to digging the dirt in the lowest of valleys. Character assassination, threats of violence, death threats, cursing people’s mothers, nothing is considered too low or out of bounds. Impeachment is the most repeated cry to the point that it has become the rallying cry of the revolution. Oh, let us not leave out that there has formed a group called; “The Revolution” and its members claim to be legion. There is also the Hillary Clinton front which includes the themes that the Russians influenced the election, Wikileaks is an evil group of plotters, former FBI Director Comey was out to get her, the media stabbed her in the back, the Democrat Party machinery was broke and broken, there were plots to have her lose, its everybody’s fault but Hillary’s because she is the ultimate victim. If this was a Shakespearean tragedy, she would have been the virginal damsel distressed and in the end sacrificed for no real reason other than her constant screeching drove everyone mad.

 

Believe it or not, all of these things and more are plotting the 2018 election campaign and we can predict its theme from the Democrat side. They are going to tout how Obamacare was forced to fail by President Trump because he refused to enforce the financial assistance to the insurance companies knowing it would crash the entire system. The new solution is more government and a single payer plan backed entirely by the government driving many insurance companies into insolvency, which will be Trump’s fault. Then the claim will show how when President Obama was in office and the Democrats controlled Congress they accomplished so many things and now the Republicans are ignoring the people and have a do nothing Congress. This is true but it is due to disruptions of the system to the point that no subject can be brought to the floor as all the time is consumed trying to discredit Trump. It is working. The Democrat aim is to take the House of Representatives such that they can bring Articles of Impeachment against President Trump and perhaps also Attorney General Sessions along with whatever other Cabinet Secretaries they can invent some charge. Then if Trump appears to be on his way to a second term which the Democrats cannot prevent, they will aim for reaching a large enough majority that with a few Republicans, such as John McCain, to be able to find President Trump guilty of the Impeachment charges and thus removed from office. Once they have accomplished this, the Democrats will start initiating their agenda always with the threat of Impeachment looming in the background to intimidate newly installed President Pence while the Senate refuses to approve any of his attempted appointments for the new Vice President. Do not fear, as soon as Pence stops playing ball, the Congress will impeach him as well and as the next in line will be the Speaker of the House, as there will be no Vice President, then we may end up with President Pelosi or worse, President Keith Ellison. Forget the Founding Fathers; we would have a new founding with the Founding Imams.

Should we have a President Ellison the world can expect the policies of Barack Obama back on the front burners and supersized. Israel will become the red-haired, freckled stepchild left out on the stoop in the middle of an Alaskan winter. Socialism modeled after Sharia will be the position of the Congress fully backing everything a President Ellison desires. The United States will never hold another election and the Congress will become simply an amen chorus or dissolved to be replaced by a body called some form of Deputy of the Revolution and the rest of the government will be transformed. A new tax will emerge called the Jiyza which will be somewhere around one third of earned money and be applied only to those who do not follow Islam. Islam will be initiated as the national religion of the United States of Allah, the new name which can still be referred to as the USA. Things will radically change and there will be no turning from this new path. The Supreme Court will be dissolved and the new Sharia Court of the United States of Allah will be installed with all Imams of prominence in the Islamist movement will be chosen by a board made up of the heads of CAIR and the Islamic Society of America (which will need to change its name somewhat). Soon thereafter all crosses and Jewish Star of David or Ten Commandments and other religious symbols will be torn off churches, synagogues, temples and other places of worship. Only the symbols of Islam will be permitted in the public places. No public preaching or evangelical events or any form of proselytizing will be permitted except for those of Islam. Instead of Iran, the newest best friend of the USA will be likely Saudi Arabia where President Ellison will soon pressure the Royal Family to retire and be replaced by a Sunni Council of Imams who will rule in the Wahhabi strict form of Sunni Islam. This form of Islam will become the one practiced with favor from the government in the new USA and Egypt’s President Sisi will be brought under great pressure and when Egypt had another election, the winner of the Presidency and the vast majority of the Legislature will be members of the Muslim Brotherhood, guaranteed. President Sisi will then be charged with heresy and receive a death sentence. We cannot have a hero for those opposed to rally around. The Egyptian military will go through a cleansing, as would have the military of the USA. Such things will occur with unbelievable rapidity that any time to revolt to prevent this takeover will be next to impossible. The borders will be thrown open and there will be an immediate immigration of hundreds of thousands of Sunni Muslims until there are sufficient Jihadists to protect the Caliph of the USA.

 

All of this is theoretical and probably beyond the reason of any normalcy. This would not be normal by any stretch of the imagination, but we have very active imaginations. We will possibly see Keith Ellison as a candidate for President most likely in 2028 should President Trump prove to become successful and popular to such an extent that the Republicans appear probable winners of the 2024 election with Mike Pence as their candidate. After twelve years of Republican Presidents in the White House, the next election is all but guaranteed to elect a Democrat. We can expect Hillary to attempt another shot at the office of the President and another fail which will not be her fault but that of the Democrat Party which deserted her, as she would probably lose in the primaries. Furthermore, should President Trump be reelected we can expect the foaming at the mouth insanity to tamper down and slowly fade as what is the use when he will be out of office anyways as he will not be eligible to run again. Still, the Republicans, if they do not find real leadership, will probably be lucky if they can lower taxes, let alone replace Obamacare. We have not seen such ineptitude since Junior High School and the elected school president’s attempts to make the faculty not assign homework on the weekends. We all believed that the amount assigned increased after the student council’s attempt to enforce this motion which they passed all but unanimously, there was a couple of realists who abstained, if we remember correctly. How the Republicans are going to be able to face their constituents and claim they were unable to move on their agenda because the Democrats were mean to them is beyond our imagination, though the mainstream, gerrymandered Representatives in the House will return but the Senators will have a tough sell outside of Wyoming, Texas and Oklahoma.

 

The disruptions by the Democrat underground supporters are working to perfection and a virtual coup is in action and taking place. They are obstructing the government all but paralyzing both Houses of Congress preventing them from enacting even the most popular items of the Republican promises to the public. These are replacing or simply repealing most of Obamacare and lifting a fair share of the tax burden such that the economy thrives and jobs return in numbers. What is odd is the jobs are out there but most require a fair amount of skills and knowledge of technology or the use of technology. There is an Executive Order which will attempt to persuade companies to open up apprenticeships which would pay employees as they learn and once they become competent at their position they would then receive a bonus and a large increase in salary commensurate on their positions. Apprenticeships are not something new to President Trump though this variety would be demanding more than competing on a game show, this would be real training on the job and results would be demanded. One can only feel sorry or be looking forward to the introduction of the new college and university graduates to the real world and the job scene where there are certain expectations and time-outs and sensitivity corners do not exist, or at least we never ran into any but then we both worked in technical fields with computers and micro-electronics such as medical equipment, satellite communications equipment, office systems software, data base management and other specialties. We also needed to learn much of our skills on the job as technology completely transformed our positions. These changes would not have been possible without the necessary technological discoveries, inventions and supplemental systems all developed and married into the systems with which we worked. These items we operated as systems or repaired as units were all adapted for new uses for which they were not necessarily originally intended as our jobs attempted to keep at the fore of technology.

 

The Democrats will not be able to prevent this even if they block any legislation from consideration as President Trump can initiate such programs simply by making speeches and tweets about the advantages of these type of programs and how these apprentices will be trained tailor made for their positions and once they have the initial training they can then have their knowledge broadened by other programs run all but completely by the employers themselves. There is the possibility we will see university styled training centers where instead of paying to attend you are paid to attend and there will be a job waiting for you once you graduate. These schools will have programs which last one, two, three or possibly more but unlikely. We need to remember that the Army can train helicopter pilots and the Navy and Air Force can train jet fighter and other pilots within two years, so three years is even a longer time than most would ever need despite the probability that these trade schools will also offer some additional coursework to round out the students, sorry, apprentices. We can expect President Trump to go straight to the industries and companies where many of his ideas can be utilized successfully and will not require anything from Congress to implement once they have been brought onboard.

 

This is one way that President Trump can implement parts of his economic progress campaign. Still, much of what must be accomplished requires Congress. President Trump should start to take the initiative and regularly call the leadership of both parties and other times the Republican leadership or Democrat leadership, depending on who is required, and suggest parts of his programs be brought before the House and Senate and run through its paces and form a piece of legislation and pass it on to the White House for signing. Warn the members and leadership of the Congress that as President, Trump expects clean legislation which does not include any extemporaneous or additional attachments or riders and expressly will not accept additional spending on other items along with his legislation or he will edit the legislation, veto it and send it back for the expected revisions, period. President Trump needs to read Congress the riot act, as they are about as dysfunctional a group of supposed adults that has ever graced the face of this earth and are heading for a disaster at the polls for both parties. This could be done through just the leadership with them called to the White House for a meeting held in the Oval Office instead of some meeting room as usual as this will impress the message with more weight if only because the Oval Office is somewhat intimidating and is like the President’s nest.

 

The other means, which is more risky, would be to address a joint session of Congress with the Justices of the Supreme Court invited to listen and be present, and before a televised speech set out his agenda, announce the introduction of legislation the White House is delivering to Congress (turning and handing a tall stack of bound pieces of legislation such that there are numerous separate bound pieces and giving them to the Speaker and the Vice President to bring to their respective sides of Congress would be an impressive and unprecedented move) legislation the White House expects expedited and serious consideration sending clean legislation on these important and critical matters which are necessary if the nation is to remain viable. The President has proven he can stick to a message if it is his message and that can be written into any speech, you just need to meet with the President and then do as he has requested. Such a move could break the logjam in Congress and even more likely if the people respond to an appeal to tell their Congressional representatives, both in the House of Representatives and in the Senate, that the people approve of what the President proposes. The President can apparently in an off-hand remark note how he is assured that those opposing this historic opportunity to right the Ship of State and get America working again will make themselves heard and receive glorious reporting supporting them in the media, but then caution Congress that there is the other side and its members are growing and will not forget who worked to build America and who were out there attempting to drag her asunder. With a great speech, better than his first Address to the joint session of Congress for the initial State of the Union Address, President Trump can become almost Reaganesque and accomplish exactly what he desired and is obviously required to do exactly as we stated, right the Ship of State and gets America working again.

 

The Revolution, as the combined forces countering any movement while the conservatives are in control and demanding that only the leftist most progressive movement will be tolerated, the people be damned, are calling themselves, has controlled the story so far in Washington D.C. It is time for other voices to be heard above the din of dissent. Washington has reached the end of this path and they face a crossroads with one direction being the Trump agenda or something resembling such and the other the continued din of dissent demanding with a dedicated drumbeat the dissolution of decency and a devotion to the duty of desolation which is their desire. Those are the two directions and the United States has been traveling along to the ditty of drudgery which sounds the din of dissent and the people deserve better. If those on the left, especially the extremists, have a better plan for America, place it before Congress, get it passed and give the President, the duly elected President even if you think the system is rigged, the chance to choose whether it can be made to work. President Trump will either sign it or veto it hopefully with reasons, even if they come in the form of Tweets. This war of words, and sometimes things substantive and capable of causing injury, has got to end and the people’s desired progress be made or at least attempted. Remember that what has been done by the left to impede the right will be available for the right to stop the left and this is a cycle that goes nowhere.

 

The people desire that things move along and they will get their desire one way or another, one retains the principles with which the nation was founded and built and the other ties that down replacing it with their desired form of governance which will permanently seat them in absolute power. We have studied history and have seen this power-play before and it always results in the same ending, the slaughter of the useful idiots once power has been secured and the formation of a secretive police force which enforces loyalty above all else. The end result is never pretty and should this become the future then abandoning ship as quickly as possible and while it is still legal is the advised reaction. The requirement to reach this state will take only one or two terms of the leftists holding both houses of the Congress and the Presidency. That second term will never really end, as the United States is a power like no other before her. Thusfar America has been good but democracies, even republics, only last so long and they always fail in the same manner, excessive government debt, excessive debt amongst the people (credit card and student loans are the two killers today), high unemployment, much discontent, deadlocked governance unable to bring the people forward, disconnected youth with no roots in history or knowledge of from where their government came, and a disloyal group which honestly believes that they and only they should be permitted the right to rule because they know, they really do know. Those grounded in history and knowledge of the past know what is coming and fear it with great trepidation and fear as they watch the potential threat to their beloved governance and know there is little which can be done to prevent the coming apocalypse. It was inevitable as soon as the nation was founded and it will come and destroy it all just as sure as the sun will rise in the east tomorrow and set in the west today. These are the tides of governance which were written for a warning which has never been heeded, will it be heeded this time, doubtful. A people will set for themselves the great challenge of self-rule and revolt against their governance having been filled with great faith in a better means of governing. They will take up courage and stride forth as a new nation based on the rights of the people and the right to ownership of the means of your own support and right to land protected by law. Freedom and liberty will rule and soon as infrastructure is available, there will be great wealth, an abundance. Abundance will lead some to avarice taking more and more but the abundance will soon appear as normal and the people will be contented to the point of blindness to what is occurring around them. The problems will start to become apparent but they will have their rightful share as did their parents and their parents back many generations all the way to that glorious revolution learned about in grade school and seldom mentioned afterwards, we wonder why that was left to be forgotten. Ah, who cares, I have my job and am busy with life, far too busy to be concerned with such things. This apathy opens the door for a dependent class to be born. General welfare becomes the new way of eradicating poverty and keeping the people complacent. Apathy is joined by and reinforced with a dependent class who now depend completely on government and thus are the tools of the corrupt. This leads to the overthrow and the return to an oppressive rule which nobody really knows or understands how it happened as it was so swift at the end, a whirlwind of events. The lost freedoms and liberties will not be seen again by any of the generation then alive as they will all serve in bondage to an elite few. This eventually will lead to an increase in faith in mankind and a desire to rule oneself. This faith to courage and courage to revolution and revolution to abundance and here we go again. Check history as it is full of such things from Caesar to Chairman Mao and Pol Pot, it is always the same grinding of the wheel, of the Tytler Cycle of Power in Governance.

What Price Multiculturalism?

 

The prefacing theory which underlies all of multiculturalism is that all cultures are equally valid. Well, if by this you mean that all cultures hold the same position in their societal definition and that they form the structure and define the acceptable limits for a society, then that is a true statement. This is the definition you will receive if you are ever bold enough to try and claim that all cultures are not equal. If you have the audacity to contend that modern western culture, which includes the separation of church and state, the priority of scientific proof and a dependence on democratic governance for the governance of the people, and this is just scratching the surface but some of the mainstays, is superior to almost all other cultures currently practiced on our planet Earth, you will find yourself on the receiving end of the leftist multiculturalism truth police. You will hear the above definition which then will be slowly but inexorably twisted until it claims that western culture is an insult to the planet which it will completely destroy if left unchecked and that humankind must return to a more subsistence culture where we all live within the limits of what we ourselves can produce. The people making these claims use computers, use motor vehicles whether public transport or their own Mercedes, buy their food at a store even if it is the farmer’s market or health food store where everything is chemical free using only natural fertilizers and pesticides plus the foods are all organically grown without use of Hybrid or GMO seeds, use electric lighting while avoiding incandescent bulbs, use electric appliances, watch televisions, listen to radios, have cell phones but claim that aboriginal cultures are equal to or superior to western culture and then challenge you to show them how western culture is superior other than its use of technology. It reminds me of the scene in the movie. “The Life of Brian” where John Cleese is claiming that the Roman culture brought nothing to the society of Judea asking, “What have the Romans ever done for us?” (The scene is below.) Western culture was honestly well behind Islamic culture which was scientifically behind the culture in India and China gaining from the former much mathematic knowledge including the concept of the number zero, the decimal point, the Indian numbering system and some of the highest mathematical theories and concepts of the era resulting from their conquests in the Indian Empire’s northwestern provinces. It is further true that western society gained from the records of Greek and Roman math and physics knowledge which the scribes of Islam had preserved which became their base for the technological advances made after the Protestant Reformation and the Renaissance which led to gains in the sciences which vaulted Western culture into preeminence which it has held to this day. But what has Western culture given to the world?

 

 

Multiculturalism is a pry-bar used to try to enforce radical environmental culture which will break society into a bi-level societal structure where the elites live lavish lifestyles and enjoy all the fruits of technology and scientific discoveries and be permitted to use unlimited amounts of power while the underclass masses live in mire and filth with questionable water quality, a meat free diet as meat will be beyond their ability to afford and life will revert to a culture similar in many ways to the Medieval social caste system. The main disgust which many of the elitists have which drives their multiculturalism is their disdain for the middleclass and their ability for upward mobility and the fact that the middleclass have education and equality to the ruling elite which threatens their superiority and if they can force the West to compromise their culture replacing this with some more primitive culture where there is no middleclass and only defined two classes, the leader class and the masses which have but one purpose in life, to serve the leader class. Some of the cultures they idolize and try to immortalize through their miseducation are some of the most barbaric in all of human history. Further, if all cultures are equal and have identical value systems, then there can be no reason to restrict immigration of any group no matter their culture. This could be taken to an extreme that should a group of headhunters claim a desire to immigrate that there should be no reason to forbid them continuing to live by their native culture of headhunting and that those of us who do not live behind electrified fences with twenty-four-seven guards both at the front gate and in vehicles and foot patrol on the perimeter will be vulnerable to these new immigrants pursuit of their monthly sacrifices. Perhaps they will institute Mayan culture when they get their society and people like me will be amongst the first sacrificed because of my challenge to their superiority. Maybe we will return to worship of Baal and child sacrifice will resume as a replacement for abortions. Child sacrifice to Baal was also used to keep the underlings in their place by threatening to sacrifice their children and it also served as a means for ridding the society of children born with deformities or handicaps as these were considered as punishments which should be returned to the gods to prove that the people only permitted the normal and best of society to serve the gods.

The leaders of the multiculturalism equality of cultures are the same leftists who once claimed that we should emulate Germany and Italy as their new form of government was so much so efficient and capable of making progress than the messy form which was democracy whether it was a republic, a parliamentary system or a constitutional republic where the nation is under the rule of law and not the rule of any man. The leadership of Germany and Italy back in the middle 1930’s was Adolph Hitler and Benito Mussolini. Yes, their leadership which was absolute did manage to accomplish things much faster through their central control and the lack of personal freedom and liberty. In the end, it was the democracies which prevailed in the conflict which inevitably followed, World War II. Following World War II, the elitists who were so wrong only a decade earlier had not learned and found a new better way to run the world. This time it was communism which was vastly superior and was capable of getting things accomplished with its central planning. One might wonder what it was about central planning with which these elitists are so enamored. Well, it is simple. Central planning leads to an elite central group which dictate how everybody else will live, what they can own, what they will produce, and run everything allowing the masses the leftovers after their lavish lifestyles have been satisfied. Well, much to their chagrin, communism also failed to out-produce and out-perform the free world and Western culture.

 

After the fall of communism, there was no other culture which initially challenged Western culture and the United States and her allies were the only game in town. This made for difficulty for the elitists because modern Western culture is what produced a middleclass and the challenge to their unchallenged importance. A middleclass includes an educated class which is capable of having equal education and knowledge to those elitists and for them this is unacceptable. This allows for people who can argue and raise doubts to the absolute knowledge and correctness of the elites. Correctness, that is another word the multiculturalists like to use as another means of quieting the masses. Political Correctness is a large concept of multiculturalism use as another lever to silence all who oppose them and challenge their supremacy. All of these leftist elitists demagoguery, their manipulative approach that plays on emotions to refute rational thought, is used to expound their illogical claims which go against all logic. They demand that the people follow because these actions will make them a better person and they will feel better about their actions simply by following without challenging the truths that they are fed. These elitist leftists have conquered the entirety of the educational systems in order to end education which allows people to have equal knowledge to the elites and instead make the people completely dependent upon the elites all knowledge and truths. In order to keep the people from experimenting with knowledge the elites prefer to keep for themselves and to deny to the masses becomes defined as Politically Incorrect speech thus unspeakable. The elites also have changed the means of teaching going from phonics to teach reading to whole world recognition. Why would this matter? Whole word recognition limits a person to the words which they have been permitted knowledge by the educators. If you do not teach the word freedom or liberty, then these concepts eventually disappear. This was well explained as “newspeak” by George Orwell in his epic novel “1984” where words were limited and the language was restricted to that which the government permitted and history was altered when the government required something different. The government could literally write a person from history and the Ministry of Information would go through every record and remove all references of the person including altering pictures which today would simply mean Photoshop them out of history.

 

The takeover of the education system by the leftist elites and their minions has had other destructive effects. They no longer teach traditional history. The Founding Fathers are no longer included in American history in the same manner as they were back in my day. Now they are flawed ignoramuses who owned slaves and thus everything they ever did was tainted by this fact and that fact nullified everything they did. This makes the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution flawed and suspect. They teach new math where for algebra the way to solve quadratic equations the student is told to make a guess. If it is wrong, then try a larger number and a smaller number and see which is closer. Continue using ever-smaller differences in guessing until you find an answer which will be close enough to suffice. Where this works well for a computer which can do millions of calculations per second, a human being is not in any way a computer and does not perform millions of calculations per second and thus this is a ridiculous means for solving algebra problems. They now teach inventive spelling where one is permitted to spell words in any manner they will recognize and understand. This is wonderful provided you do not desire people to be capable of writing to one another and have their messages understood. Perhaps in this day of texting and Twitter and one-hundred-forty characters per tweet then original spelling will work just fine as long as we all can agree to use the same texting abbreviations.

 

So we will soon have a population with no knowledge of history, no knowledge of political science or systems, no knowledge of governances, no knowledge on how to spell, limited word knowledge through recognition only and mathematical ability limited only to basic calculator functions. Another way of putting this is we will have a population in the western world with limited educations and almost no knowledge with which to function and govern or to judge almost anything we are told by the elites. They will have achieved constructing a people who are dependent upon them for their knowledge and for them to do all the thinking. Looking at the colleges today where they have safe spaces, trigger warnings, microaggressions and other such leftist insanities which are producing snowflakes who will be unable to take criticism, unable to handle reality if it does not match their preconceived notions which they had molded by their educators, and unable to do anything without having it be a team effort where the effort requires anywhere from five to twenty people to accomplish what used to be a task for one diligent and hard working person just ten to fifteen years ago. If the hope of the elitist leftists with their ploy of multiculturalism and the education farce was to end Western culture and take the world back to the Middle Ages and the old monarchal system with the elites and the peasants, they appear to have all but succeeded. The main challenge is those home-schooled children who are becoming more common as people see what the education system had become. Still, the elites appear to be on the verge of winning and this is part of why they are so upset that President Trump defeated Hillary Clinton. Their fear is that President Trump just might undo all they have accomplished, especially with Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos who just might disassemble public education and make all education private enterprise providing parents to choose where their child will be educated and what they will be taught and by whom. Such a system would improve education immeasurably immediately which the Leftist elites simply are beside themselves trying to prevent this catastrophe to all they have done. This is such a sad state of affairs, all that work and President Trump might topple everything with complete disregard for their feelings, and it should all be about their feelings, you know.

America and Judaism Share One Great Concept

 

Most nations and religions trace themselves to some great person who was responsible for their greatness and in some form or another deify that individual. For nations the examples are legion. Rome traced to the two children raised by a she wolf, Romulus and Remus, China was unified by a leader who was born of a dragon which brought him to China where he unified the separate kingdoms forging a great power, England has King Arthur and the Camelot myth and so on it goes. Christianity gave us Jesus, Islam gave us Mohammed, Buddhism gave us Buddha, Taoism came from Tao and so forth with each religion traced to a person who is raised above other men and in some way deified or immortalized. What follows will likely not sit us well with many readers but is presented for thought and not as any claim that the two seminal foundings were directly related beyond their emphasis on the sanctity of the human spirit and its enabling by the Creator, by Hashem.

 

But with the United States there was no one individual though George Washington is regarded as the father of the nation nobody would claim that he founded or singularly established the country. His greatest feat was giving up power when he could have continued as President until his death thus establishing the temporary power of the office instead of making it into a form of elected monarchy. The American idea was the world of the Founding Fathers, a group where though many people may choose one they prefer, none is more vital to the forging of the United States than the others. Sure we credit Thomas Jefferson with writing the Declaration of Independence but this only came about because John Adams deferred and chose him because he was a talented writer and an amiable person where, as John Adams is credited with stating in persuading Thomas Jefferson claiming when Jefferson claimed Adams was the stronger writer and better at expressing himself claimed that was why he could not be its author because he was far too disliked and anything he wrote would be torn apart by many of the others. James Madison is credited with crafting the initial wording of the constitution but again it became the work of all the signatories in some means or another. The United States is not traceable to a single person but instead to singular ideals expressed in that Declaration of Independence and a form of governance delineated in that Constitution and those are the two pillars upon which America rests.

 

Judaism is similar in that there were great people but no individual can be credited with establishing the religion. Granted when Hashem altered Avram’s name making it Avraham and Sari became Sarah, this would be the seminal point where the Covenant would be made and circumcision the sign of the contract which was to be undertaken by every male; yet the religion itself is transferred through one’s mother and not the father. To be a Jew one is required to have come from a Jewish mother. But Avraham received the Covenant with Hashem; he did not codify Judaism and did not write the Torah. Torah was transcribed by Moses which was why he is referred to as the lawgiver. But Moses transcribed Torah and led the Israelites from Egypt which is told in Torah in Exodus and retold in Deuteronomy. Moses went to great lengths to refute any deification including assuring that he would have no burial location which would be known so as to refute any worship giving all due credit to Hashem. Joshua was the leader of the Israelites when they conquered the Promised Land. Hashem kind of left out that after leaving Egypt the Israelites were going to have to conquer the Promised Lands but that was the way of forming a nation and claiming your place among nations in those early days of humankind. There also were numerous Judges and Prophets who ruled the Israelites but none were greater than the others in reflection and thus none were ever made to be more than wise and knowledgeable men. King Saul was the first Israelite king and was deficient in many ways but did preserve the nation passing it to King David more by default than any other means as the battle which claimed Saul’s son and heir to the throne also threw Saul into such grief that he took his own life, not the most glorious of endings. From King David the throne passed to King Solomon. King Solomon was regarded as one of the wisest of men but also had great failings chief amongst them were the inadequacy of his children who brought great harm upon the Israelites or Hebrews.

What is less known by many is that the Jews were the remnants of the Israelites. The kingdom ruled by Kings Saul, David, Solomon and so forth broke into two kingdoms with the northern Kingdom called Israel and the southern Kingdom named for its larger tribe, Judah, named Judea. Israel consisted of ten tribes and their priests and was conquered by the Assyrians and never actually heard from until modern times. These became known as the ten lost tribe of the Jews but were really the ten lost tribes of Israel. Jews are the remainder of the tribes of Benjamin and Judea and the Priestly classes, tribes, of the Levites and Kohanim. These two tribes basically merged into the entity of Judea and the people were the Judeans, obviously. With time people grew lazy and did not care to actually say Judeans so it eventually shortened to simply Jews. Judea traced back to Judah and Benjamin to Benjamin, two of the sons of Jacob. One need remember that when Judaism relates to Avraham it is almost always referenced as Avraham, Isaak and Jacob as these were the Patriarchs buried in Hevron in the cave bought by Avraham in which to bury Sarah. Still the story of the Jews hinges greatly on Jacob’s twelve sons but one was responsible for the survival of the entire family, Joseph. This was one of the more unusual stories amongst many unusual stories. Joseph was sold into slavery by his jealous brothers but because of this act he was in the right place at the right time to become a favored one of Pharaoh and was placed as Chancellor over Egypt second only in power to Pharaoh himself. He managed resources of food saving Egypt from a great famine and saved his family as well. This led to the eventual enslaving of his family which was then brought forth by Hashem through the vessels which were Moses with Aaron. As is said, the rest is history except in this case it is more accurate to say the rest is the Hebrew Bible or the Old Testament and then history as that story has had a rebirth which was foretold in the Bible with the formation in a single day of the nation of modern Israel in its ancient homelands, though that is still being contested the eventual forming of Israel will include its ancient lands even if that takes a thousand years.

 

Judaism and the United States owe their formations to many individuals with none more vital than the rest and neither would exist if not for all of these great people all of whom were guided by principles and forces beyond their comprehension. Did these people know they were a part of something far greater than themselves, of course they did. But each group had the guidance of great people when required the most and both claim that Hashem is an integral part of their formation as a nation. Neither deifies any individual and instead when they use the term Creator their reference is to the Creator of all things as told in Genesis and both Judaism and the United States of America claim to owe their creation to that very same Creator and both claim the view that mankind was imbued and “endowed by that Creator with unalienable rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” These principles are found throughout the laws and preaching in Judaism and were carried forth in Christianity and found their place in the Declaration of Independence where they were once again ensconced in the human mind and established repeatedly but most forcefully in Torah and thus made available for Thomas Jefferson to include in his declaration.
