Trump Peace Initiative Starting on Wrong Foot

 

President Trump’s Middle East economic package has been unveiled and it promises simply more of the same failure as we have seen before. Step one, promise to provide economic stimulus which will create jobs and provide economic opportunities for the average Palestinian Arab. This time they are talking about fifty-billion-dollars worth of stimulus. What exactly is the intention and how this plan can get beyond the same problems every previous plan had run into is beyond our ability to figure out. Perhaps it is the amount which is the intended difference as perhaps they are figuring that even the Palestinian deep pit cannot manage to pilfer, redirect and otherwise conceal such an amount. The Palestinian leadership has proven to be amongst the world’s best at stealing any and all funds invested. As displayed in the bar graph below, it is evident that the Palestinian Arab relief efforts far outpace those of any, if not all, the other needful places everywhere on the Earth. As any tour of Gaza will prove, even when provided with building materials, somehow, they build so many tunnels and bunkers such that they end up incapable of rebuilding much of the damage from even the war between Hamas with Islamic Jihad against the Palestinian Authority when Hamas took control of Gaza in a bloody coup. In each war, as time progressed, Hamas and the supportive NGO’s put forth the claim that Israel not only destroyed the same building from the previous engagements but caused further damage. The reality is the previous damages were never cleared or rebuilt; they were left in whatever condition they were when the fighting ended. Most of the buildings damaged or destroyed had been utilized as rocket-launching positions, ambush positions and other military uses with the intention of maximizing the damage done. Of course, this has been encouraged by the numerous NGO’s whose main purpose in life is to mar the Israeli reputation and to bring Israel before the numerous United Nations agencies and international courts for war crimes, crimes against society or any other criminal activities imaginable. The anti-Israel agenda has been turned into an industry which has been heavily financed by the Arabs and Islamic world as well as numerous far left institutions and funds. One can expect these NGO’s to line up to grab some of the pot of goal about to be dumped into the cesspool which is the Palestinian Arabs cause.

Mahmoud Abbas has made it quite clear that the “Pay-to-Slay” funds are paid out before any and all other items are funded. He has stated openly that even if the entire amount the Palestinian Authority was funded was equal to the funds necessary to cover the payments to terrorists, then it would all be utilized to pay the terrorists (see video below). Despite such a damning confession about the “Pay-to-Slay” being his first and foremost importance for funding above all else, the United Nations, European Union and numerous European countries and international NGO’s still swear that the Palestinian Authority is not encouraging terrorism. What is even more disturbing is that the highest paying position outside the leadership who are part of those who take a percentage of all funds provided their organizations is the murder of Israeli civilians. The Palestinian Authority even has an entire payment schedule which has been published (we have included one below). There is an even increasing amounts that are paid for the more Israelis a terrorist is able to murder. Then there are additional payments for specific other criteria such as if the terrorist has a family, is a resident of Jerusalem or a resident of Israel. Mahmoud Abbas has gone off the rails ever since President Trump announced the relocating of the United States embassy to the Israeli capital of Jerusalem. For Abbas, this was an aberrant act which was in direct opposition to the interests of the Palestinian Authority. What Abbas only states in Arabic and often not recorded is that the Palestinian Arabs cause is completely honest to the Khartoum Resolution of September 1, 1967, and the three no’s; “no peace with Israel, no recognition of Israel, no negotiations with Israel.” The only peace deal acceptable to the Palestinian Authority or to Hamas is any settlement in which Israel ceases to be the Jewish State and is instead returned to Islamic rule. This was the entirety behind the Khartoum conference.

 

 

Palestinian Authority Remunerations for Terrorists

 

Starting off this next peace initiative by promising to “invest” in the Palestinian economy is nothing new and the elites are probably already dividing up the funds and decided what minimal improvements they will use through which to distribute the funds to the right people who are in the loop and proven to share the wealth with all the right people. Theirs is a polished system through which how the cash enters their area of control, they have proven to be able to digest any amount of money regardless of the gross amount provided, but fifty-billion-dollars is the largest amount ever intended to be used to invigorate their economy and thus could be a real challenge. President Trump’s team has stated that this time the funds will be distributed with more care and will not be invested in the Palestinian leadership as has been the previous efforts. As the elites are all attached financially to the Palestinian leadership and likely to share the wealth which could be flowing into their coffers as this is necessary if they intend to live long enough to deposit their share of the funding. This latest approach to find the required means for hammering out peace between the Palestinian Arabs and Israel will be facing the same complex system which is quite practiced at distributing funds into the right people’s pockets including making sure that the “Pay-to-Slay” funds make their way to the true heroes of Palestinian society. These are also the people for whom roads, government buildings, schools, sports teams, sporting contests, parks, playgrounds and just about everything else including people’s first child’s name and some name all their children after terrorist murderers. Terrorism is the most glamorous of occupations, and it is considered an honorable profession. Such has become the attitude of Palestinian Arab society due to the indoctrination which children are exposed to as their educational curriculum. This is the societal norm which exists in the Palestinian Arab regions and the longer they are permitted to expend efforts at spreading their hatred of Israel and Jews to the Israeli Arabs is simply one more reason that the present ruling elites must be removed and preferably deported from all of Israel.

 

The reality of the Arab Israeli conflict is that the Palestinian Arab terrorism is just the latest form of warfare taken by the Islamic Arab world to destroy Israel. What this means is that there is no amount of money which could ever find a remedy to the conflict which the Arabs will accept if Israel remains the Jewish State. First item is that Islam, despite the fantasies politicians tell, is completely incompatible with democracy. Further, they are taught that the Jews are lesser beings requiring their Islamic better to care for them. We will skip exactly what caring for the Jews actually entails. From the promise of a slaughter “about like the massacres of the Mongols or the Crusades,” by Azzam Pasha, Secretary-General of the Arab League at the start of the Arab War of Annihilation begun against Israel the morning of her founding on May 15, 1948; their intent has never wavered from this attitude. This was their intent in the 1967 Six Day War and again for the 1973 Yom Kippur War. After the Six Day War, the Arabs decided to also include terrorism to force the Jews to flee from their violence. This was an agreed tactic established actually in 1964 when the KGB working with the Arab League established the Palestinian Liberation Organization headed by two trained Arab KGB elements, Yasser Arafat and Mahmoud Abbas. Their purpose was to make life so horrific and dangerous for Israelis that the Jews would flee going back to the nations from whence they had come. This has not worked quite as well as the Arabs had planned as the numbers of Jews has continued to increase over time. There is one other item which is counterintuitive for anybody who believes the claims of the Palestinian Arabs and their propaganda elements. This is that despite claims that Israel has been attempting genocide and ethnic cleansing, the numbers of Palestinian Arabs has greatly increased over the years as well. This is but one of the numerous lies peddled by the Arabs concerning Israel and who is occupying whose lands. Under International Law, the eastern border of Israel is the Jordan River into the Golan Heights and to where it empties into the Dead sea and continuing south. Gestate on this for a while and look at a map and fairly soon one comes to the realization that the Palestinian Arabs are occupying parts of Israel, how’s that for an opposite to everything that the entire imbroglio has been built upon lies and other infirmities which threaten to have the Arab cause collapse should the world ever get past their disingenuous acceptance of the Jewish State. In time we will cover this further.

State Department Deep State Aiding Palestinian Terrorist Payments

 

Nobody at the State Department nor those from the White House will accept the allegation that they are aiding the payment of Palestinian terrorists and their families. They will talk about the humanitarian crisis and their aid being restricted for feeding, housing and other essential aid usage by the Palestinian Authority. This was directly contradicted by a letter sent by nine Democratic members of the House of Representatives’ Foreign Affairs Committee’s subcommittee on the Middle East which they sent to President Trump. Their complaint began with the fact that, “all U.S. assistance, including lifesaving humanitarian aid, has been frozen since January 2018.” Their insistence continued with the argument, “We are deeply concerned that there seems to be no information available to Members of Congress as to the nature, scope, or duration of this assistance review. We support the need for oversight of our assistance programs…. However, it is unnecessary to withhold funding while conducting this review.” After lamenting the reported humanitarian crisis in Gaza, something no amount of aid money or provisions could possibly help as all aid goes straight to Hamas or to Hamas via UNRWA, they got to the meat of their complaint with, “We have heard from many of our non-governmental organization implementing partners…who will be forced to shut down in the coming weeks if funding is not released.” Their letter demanding the White House explain their actions and lack of funding ending with, “The Committee has previously requested information in writing…about the West Bank and Gaza assistance review, and has not received detailed information in response. Therefore, we request an update as to the current status of the review…and a timeline for the conclusion of the review. We also urge the immediate release of US bilateral assistance to the West Bank and Gaza.”

 

Now how about we translate their stated positions into normal language and strip away the equivocations and speak straightly. These concerned Representatives appeared largely to be concerned about aid going to Gaza. In theory, there should not be any aid from the United States going to Gaza under any legal context, as Gaza is a terrorist entity. Gaza is ruled by Hamas, a terrorist group by almost all definitions, and they are backed by Islamic Jihad who are in the running to be as bad if not worse than Hamas. These Representatives know very well that every dollar of aid which eaches Gaza will be spent on weapons of war and infiltration tunnels into Israel for the exclusive purpose of murdering Israeli civilians and kidnapping some to hold for ransom. Hamas and Islamic Jihad have stated this as one of their main goals for the future. These Democrat Representatives also are aware that currently there is a one sided attack still being engaged by these terrorist entities in Gaza flying incendiary kites and balloons into Israel despite a supposed ceasefire agreement arranged through Egypt with American support. Finally, they are completely aware that Palestinian Authority (PA) President Mahmoud Abbas has repeatedly insisted that the blood money for murdering Jews will continue to be paid to terrorists and their families even if it takes every last penny of aid money and that these payments are to be made as the first and foremost payments of the government before even the salaries of government workers and security forces (the PA army).

Basically, these nine Democrat Representatives who are presumably specialists on the entire situation in the Middle East are most concerned that the terrorists who desire or have murdered Jews in Israel, placing sending aid money to Hamas and the PA to pay for more terrorism as the their top priorities, placing these funds at the top of their concerns over anything else occurring in the Middle East. Funding terrorism against Israel comes before assisting the American allies who were the tip of the spear which brought down the Islamic State, the Kurds, or relieving the plight of Syrian refugees in camps along the Jordanian and Turkish borders with Syria, and above aiding the refugees from the ethnic cleansing in Myanmar crammed into refugee camps in Bangladesh. One could look at the Middle East and decide that it is a continental crisis factory where Israel is possibly the most stable area in its entirety. We can only suspect the worst concerning these representatives and their ulterior motives.

 

Further, this coming on the heels of the announced releasing of dozens of millions of dollars to the Palestinian Authority’s preventive security forces only makes the entirety of this all the more suspicious. The PA Security Forces have committed acts of terror shooting at and killing Israeli civilians, though they are usually acquitted of any charges for political reasons. PA Security Forces have opened fire at IDF soldiers and paid a high price in return. The list of PA Security Force personnel killing and attacking Israelis is rather extensive. What might be shocking is that these PA Security Force personnel who have murdered Israelis now receive close to or more than their regular salary for their act of terrorism and get these funds for as long as the PA has any funds to spend. The blood money paid under the guise of family aid for the martyrs might be the only funds which are actually paid out before Mahmoud Abbas further enriches himself and his family. Terrorists have admitted to carrying out terror acts seeking to be killed so their family would get funds and be better off. If we have knowledge of these incidents, then you know that members of Congress know all about them as well, which leads to our questioning the real motives of these representatives in demanding that funding be released and their specifying that it be made especially for Gaza and the PA Security Forces. In both cases, they are explicitly requesting that terrorists receive American aid monies. There are reasons that President Trump has been reviewing aid to the PA, and it is not to cause people to suffer, the PA and Hamas do that well enough with or without American tax money.

 

Still, it is worrying that the State Department can simply send funds under the guise that there are emergencies and they have received pleas from the PA for relief and thus released these funds. It appears that this was accomplished without any permission from the White House and definitely without the President giving any authorization. It would be interesting to have the order for this release of funds traced up the structural charts of the State Department and find out exactly who and in what position this order originated. If it was anybody other than Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, then somebody should be stood before Secretary of State Pompeo and made to give the reasons and from where they believed they had the authority for releasing these funds. Their story had better be very convincing or they should be fired. But that is the problem, Civil Service employees are next to impossible to fire. The only thing more difficult in being rid of than an employee in the United States government are cockroaches, especially those residing within the core of a nuclear power plant. This is one of the deepest problems facing the United States, a virtual army of bureaucrats answerable to nobody, overseen seldom and often without a direct chain of command, incapable of being removed from employment except in rare cases of extreme malfeasance, able to destroy people and even the policies of the President of the United States. Once at a sufficiently high level, they run their own little fiefdom, the only form of employee where if it takes five of them to do the job, easily handled by one employee in the real world, yet all five get commendations (it usually takes eight to ten or more) and yet their numbers continue to grow making them even less manageable and given even less guidance or oversight. Should any President make a policy that for every promotion given in any department not directly commanding soldiers or direct law enforcement field agents, two government workers would need to be terminated, providing they were elected to two terms, the problem might be halved.

Republican Party Committing Electoral Suicide

 

It seems there are two Republican Parties today. One is the elite, loyal guard who are what one might call the core of the presumed power structure. The other are the ones who win despite the party mostly ignoring their needs and election campaigns where they receive minimal help but run populist campaigns knocking on doors and speaking at every church, synagogue and every society which will allow. The power structure have campaign chests which if theirs and the Democrats’ were combined, the United States could probably put a good sized dent in the national debt. They are reelected because they have much of their district or state in their pocket and all the media give them good coverage always speaking respectfully of them. These long-time Congressional denizens also make up the core of the “Never Trumpers” who are making life near to impossible for the President. With the party split like this, it is not difficult to see a disaster in the making. And now the Republican “Never Trumpers” have decided that their opposition to the President surpasses the good of the Party. They refused to work with President Trump on repeal of Obamacare and are now rising for a fight over Tax Reform. When President Trump decided to pass the controversy over the repeal of President Obama’s DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) to Congress rather than acting unilaterally, they decided they would refuse to act. Facing such stubborn refusal for cooperation from his own Party, President Trump did what he was all but forced into, he made a deal with the Democrat Party and now you should hear the howling. Those very same “Never Trumpers” are accusing the President of treason against the Party. But that is politics as usual, push somebody away and refuse to work with or even listen to them and then when they decide to work with other politicians who promise to be more receptive, then they are a traitor and are compromising your position and chance for reelection.

 

These head games and power struggles within the party are toxic, nothing less. The voters watch what is happening and eventually they are sickened and turn away. The Republican Party cannot understand why they can never hold a majority in the Congress for more than a couple of election cycles while the Democrat Party can do so often for decades at a time. One can only wonder if the Republicans ever take a moment from their internal squabbles to watch the Democrats in Congress. When there is a vote on any major legislation where the Democrat voters have shown a preference, the Democrats invoke Party solidarity and almost the entirety will vote as one. The Republican base of support gave a voice of support and preference over the past six years since Obamacare was passed that they wanted it repealed. The Republican base has always supported tax code simplification and lower taxes. They have always supported fewer regulations. President Trump has made a ruling that for every regulation enacted, that department must retire two regulations. President Trump has repealed numerous regulations which were invoked by Presidential edict by President Obama by using the identical power to revoke them. President Trump agreed to permit the Congress to consider three separate means to choose between to repeal Obamacare, and they chose none of them largely because the Republican Party could not enforce Party unity while the Democrats were the epitome of Party unity. Then they threatened an entangling argument over tax reform and rate lowering just because President Trump needed it and they hate President Trump and believe he is a false Republican. President Trump has tried to represent the Republican conservative agenda but apparently, that has not been good enough and that is why they are opposing exactly the things they had promised they would work on to their constituents.

 

Never Trump Republican Core

 

Of course, they are playing the usual games and each taking a turn to vote for everything while in the end voting against them all so when asked they can claim they supported the exact things they defeated. We have explained this game before where they have more than one of the same bill so each can vote for one while voting against the others thus defeating important bills but being able to say on the campaign that they voted for the best version of the legislation and it was not their fault it failed, it was those other Republicans. They make it so they can all have the same excuse and depend on nobody being able to understand the backhanded dealings they use to deceive their constituents. That has become the whole new game, fool the voters into believing that you are doing as they desire while serving to enlarge the government and give more power and wealth to the top five percent, and both parties are playing the same game. The difference is that the Democrats are at least slightly more honest as they purport to serve the ever greater government, the Republicans are supposed to be for limited government. For those old enough, this can be confusing as in our youth the Democrats were for less government and the Republicans were for more government. We guess that is also part of the political cycles. There are all forms of political cycles. There was a time when the Republicans voted as a block much of the time and the Democrats were the party of the loud arguments. That was back when the Democrats wanted smaller government. Apparently, if you desire to make government smaller, then you argue because everybody wants to make government smaller by taking from the other places while keeping all the government which enriches your voters. The problem is to make government smaller, you have to take away from somebody and the best method would be to have everybody volunteer to surrender something such that everybody invests in a smaller government. But it will never work because then there will be arguments that one only lost fifty jobs and my district would lose two-hundred jobs and that is not fair. When you are a politician, you can demand that everything be fair as long as they are more fair for you and yours.

 

The Republicans were given a mandate by those who elected Donald Trump to be President. They stated four or five basic things that they insisted be accomplished. They demanded Obamacare be repealed, taxes be lowered, regulations be repealed, government be shrunk, and that the Republicans work together and accomplish this immediately if not sooner. This has not happened and unless it does before the end of the year, then the voters will be very upset. There is a reason why the Republican Party does not dominate the Congress year after year. It is not because they do not have the voters potentially. The problem is that the Republicans have upset so many voters who have let their registration slip away and never returned to the voter rolls. Their actions have even sent such a distracting and fractured message that some conservatives have simply never registered believing that it really does not matter because no politician ever actually represents true conservatism. The Republicans just have this ability to appear as if they are in a constant state of confusion leading to indecision followed by the inability to accomplish anything of consequence which their voters demand of them. This leads to frustration for their voters and this also leads to them turning away from political news and stop voting. Part of the problem can be represented through the Congressman who represents the first Congressional District in Oklahoma, Jim Bridenstine. He won a populist primary to win his first term by walking much of the district going door-to-door meeting the constituents. When he came up for reelection after winning by a near record vote his first term, the Republican Party should have rushed and supported him but instead they ran a Party functionary against him in the primary elections. Jim Bridenstine defeated this Republican challenge in an embarrassing and overwhelming manner and has served to the current time. Jim Bridenstine now leads President Trump’s list to become the next head of NASA which makes sense, as he is an Air Force veteran and also has a degree in administration. Perhaps this is yet another Republican conspiracy to replace him in Congress. How is that for a wild conspiracy theory. Perhaps it is the Republican secret plan to lose the seat to the Democrats, except this would be next to impossible. On the other side, a Democrat from this district would be more conservative than a Republican from Massachusetts.
