Why do They Always Target the Jews?

 

Well, the reason is in the numbers. The Egyptians faced a slave revolt if they did not allow Jews along with non-Jewish individuals to leave as Moses insisted. After a number of plagues, ten to be exact, the Jews were readied for their departure. Well, Pharaoh was not so ready for their departure. What we do not hear about the departure of the Jews from Egypt is that it was a ruse used to set the Jews up for one mighty massacre and the end of those people from history. The Bible tells us the story from a Jewish perspective without inspecting the other potential matters. Why did Pharaoh allow the Jews to leave? First, they need to wonder whether or not Pharaoh was going to use the Jews as an example to keep the remaining slaves (workers) in line and fearful of Pharaoh. Was it actually Pharaoh’s idea to allow the Jews and those supporting their efforts to gather and separate themselves from the rest of the workforce and then slaughter them out in the open and bring Moses and a few others from the leadership back in chains to teach everyone what happens when you mess with Pharaoh? It might have actually worked just as described except for some timely divine intervention. Instead, Pharaoh returned with almost his entire army which left with him to perform his butchery of those upstart Jews dead and left at the bottom of the Red Sea (Sea of Reeds is a modern and potentially incorrect translation). Pharaoh had to explain where his Royal Guards and elite forces were as he left with thousands in his army and returned with maybe fifty top commanders who all spoke of the raw power of the Jewish deity, Hashem, and the splitting of the sea and its closure upon the entire body of their troops. For all we can fathom, anti-Semitism may have been sewn into the psyche of mankind that fateful day when Pharaoh probably had no greater hate than for the slave revolt that defeated him, the most powerful of mankind, defeated by unarmed slaves whose only true weapon was their faith in Hashem.

 

History is filled with page after page of hatred for Jews. The Bible records much of the revelations of how Jews were particularly despised, though it does downplay such. Then there is the Purim story where Haman almost succeeded in having the Kingdom of Persia massacre the Jewish People. It just might have worked had the Queen of Persia not been a Jewess. The Greeks outlawed the reading of the Torah, circumcision, and numerous other specifics which were holy to the Jews and we practiced them in private. The Roman Empire was the next in line with a plan to wipe these pesky Jews from the face of the earth. It worked just as planned with the Carthaginians and who knows how many others. This method was based on the idea that there could not be a people without their having a homeland. The Romans would disperse the subject people throughout their quite sizeable empire denying them even sufficient people to form even the smallest of a core group. But the Jews had some secret weapons. Their peoplehood was not as dependent upon the land as it was around the Torah and worship of Hashem. As long as they could find ten Jewish males of adult age, they could perform every required law in Torah. Even the Romans were powerless to prevent ten men meeting for a singular purpose. What the Romans did not know was their dispersion of the Jewish People became their protection against genocide. No longer could a regional power or virtually any power be able to destroy the Jewish People as they were spread too far and wide. Never again throughout history to the modern era have all the Jews come under a single power or alliance.

 

But as for why have the Jews so often been the all but perfect victims, that is a matter of logistics. First off, the Jews have and will probably continue to be a small percentage of the people in any nation. Second is the problem that anti-Jewish animus has always existed even if only amongst the people on the edges of a society. Hitler proved how far one can succeed by simply taking the disgruntled during bad times and turning them into a unified force against an enemy for which they already were prepared to hate, or at least had no really positive feelings towards. Add in the centuries of anti-Semitic hatred found throughout the history of Europe and Christianity as well as the anti-Semitic founding of Islam and you have a ready-made excuse for anti-Semitism throughout most of the world. Add in modern telecommunications and a further spread of anti-Jewish animus is ready to be hatched even in those regions where there is no history of anti-Semitism. There are a few groups within which it will be difficult to inculcate an anti-Semitic core of feelings, and that is amongst the Buddhists as hating any creature is an anathema to them. Still, the seeds of Jew hatred have truly now been spread worldwide and that is one thing which will never be undone for as long as humanity rules this orb.

 

But why the Jews? Well, since the final revolt against the Romans, which was a very long time ago, there has been almost no large, organized Jewish force and definitely not a Jewish army until the founding of Israel. Part of the worldwide, specifically in the United Nations and Europe, animosity towards Israel is partially a transference of their already existent anti-Semitism and the rest is mostly piling-on. The problem is this “piling-on” has led to instilling anti-Semitic seeds in these nations and many have jumped on the idea that the reason for their problems is easy, it’s the Jews who have subverted their noble leaders’ efforts. With the mainstream world media in a constant dripping of anti-Israel articles, conspiracy theories and lies, the Jews amongst the nations, Israel, has become the new World Jewish Conspiracy upon whom to heap all blame for anything which does not proceed according to plan. Your new five-year economic revitalization plan failed to reach any of its goals, it was because of Jewish support for Israel stealing all the profits as the Jew sent all your profits and our monies to that Jew country, Israel. The temptation to play on what have become the worldwide fears that the Jews are out to control the planet, an idea which was put into writing by the Tsars of Russia with their falsity titled, “The Protocols of the Elders of Zion,” a conspiracy theory which refuses to die. Actually, it has come to have an unexpected (unless you are as paranoid as I) life of its own with increasing circulation worldwide in our oh-so-sophisticated-modern-societies. The one other item which has never managed to escape every age which makes up history is how the current age is so much closer to universal acceptance. This theme parallels with the theme of superiority of the modern age which has been touted also since Pharaoh and likely before. Every age is the most modern, as it is the now, and is assumed to be the most advanced, the most moral, the most humane and the one which will rid the planet of hate. But first, there will be the calls from the periphery, but first we need to be rid of the Jew if we ever hope to be safe and happy. This too has been part of every age almost from the beginning of time and easily reaching back into prehistory.

 

But why the Jews? Easy, we dress and identify differently and are a very small but dynamic minority. Further, throughout the ages, Jews have been amongst the most successful in business and numerous other ventures. This means that you get the largest return on your efforts stealing the wealth of the Jews. But probably the biggest other reason is the Jews have been the leaders in the movements for pacification of society, gun control and all the other means of leaving people defenseless. This also has left the Jews mostly defenseless. Add in their making up less than 0.2% of world population. This means for every thousand people in the world, you would expect to find two who are Jews. But as almost half the Jews reside in Israel, this means that the Jews in the rest of the world come closer to 0.1% of their populations. In Nazi Germany at the initial period while Hitler was still rising to power, the Jews were less than one-percent of the population of Germany. The majority of Germans had likely never knowingly met a Jew and thus had no knowledge of Jews or Judaism other than the government propaganda, and through the ages also the propaganda from the Church, both the Roman Catholic Pope and the numerous Protestant denominations as well. The Church became one of, if not the, progenitor of European and Western anti-Semitism. Following in those footsteps, the Protestant Reformation took their anti-Catholic driving force and simply added that to their persecution of the Jews. The Church and the various Protestant denominations seemed to compete one with the other to prove their being the most pious because they had executed, dispossessed and otherwise belittled their Jews the most. The bar had been set quite high after the onset of the Spanish Inquisition.

 

Then came the real proof that the world was being decided on the backs of the Jews. This is not to imply or otherwise say that the Jews had any say whatsoever in these events. We are referring to the Crusades as a response to the Islamic capture of Jerusalem and the Holy Lands. This was a period where the Christians and the Muslims both agreed upon one basic premise, namely that the Jews were assisting the other side. When the Christians would, say, retake Jerusalem they would execute and torture Muslims and Jews and then when the Muslims retook Jerusalem, they murdered and tortured Christians and Jews. This was a constant which plagued the Jews who remained in the Holy Lands. Fortunately, quite possibly a gift from Hashem, the Romans had dispersed the Jews centuries before guaranteeing their continuation in spite of the executions and other acts in the Holy Lands. This dispersion would actually serve to preserve the Jewish faith rather than destroying it. In the ensuing centuries both the Christian world and the Islamic world would brutalize, murder, torture, expel and force to wear identifying clothing upon the Jews wherever they resided. The initial demand for Jews to wear a yellow marking upon their outerwear was under Caliph Umar II in the early 8th century. The practice was reissued and reinforced by Caliph Al-Mutawakkil (847–861), subsequently remaining in force for centuries. This puts to lie that the Muslim world only learned how to be anti-Semitic from Europeans after World War II. Islam has had anti-Semitism ingrained in their Quran and in the Prophet Muhammad’s acts when alive making the killing of Jews to be a holy act fully endorsed by the Prophet and the Quran. Many modern Muslims believe that should they die murdering a Jew then they are guaranteed to go straight to heaven where they will receive wonderful rewards. This has worked to make the Islamic world very actively anti-Semitic.

 

There were those who mistakenly believed that when the horrors of the Holocaust and its complete gravity of the Nazi murder mechanisms became known, that this would drive the evil of anti-Semitism from the human race permanently. As it turns out, the neo-Nazis refused to believe the reality claiming that the Holocaust was a Jewish invention to take money from Germany and all the gullible people who would sympathize with the Jews and reinforce their lies. In the Islamic world this became the prevalent position with one twist, that this was used to force Israel onto Arab lands. Many an Arab leader would complain that the Europeans should have provided a place for the Jews likely carved from Germany. They are unswayed by the factual argument that the Jewish State of Israel had been planned at the San Remo Conference and incorporated into the Mandate System by a unanimous vote of the League of Nations soon after World War I. The anti-Semitism of the Islamic world is a very virulent form of the hate and has spread across the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) Arab nations and has spread beyond the Islamic world catching on largely by far leftist groups from Asia, specifically the Communist revolutionaries. The rise of Islamic immigrants across most of Europe has taken the hatred of anti-Semitism out of the closet and returned it to center stream Europe. This is also starting to produce a similar rise in the United States.

 

With the fact about the truth of the warning from the Passover Service that in every generation there will be one who rises against us. This one does not mean the lone crazy but refers to a person who sits in a powerful position with sufficient influence and inroads to the ruling elite to inflict anti-Semitic acts against a greater number of Jews than if they acted largely alone. This admonition has proven to actually have been wise council to have passed down the generations. The unfortunate part is that too many Jews either have never heard this caution or simply believe that the admonition had become history as anti-Semitism was dead. Well, pure, unadulterated and heated anti-Semitic hatred took a rest or even paused for a moment. Most American Jews are just waking to the fact that the demonic anti-Semites are back and show massive confusion on how such could happen. The religious point to the leftist policies of their assimilated brothers and sisters. Those leftists blame it on the religious claiming if they would simply blend into society, then there would be no problem as everyone would accept them because such would make them the good Jews. The second argument is so backwards in its logic, reasoning and conclusions, that we will allow the history to prove that point. During the time of Haman and the Persian Empire, the Jews Haman desired to murder resided in the main cities of the Persian Empire and were completely assimilated while those religious Jews had returned to the Holy Lands and rebuilt the Temple. Those Jews were mostly off of the Haman radar or were included simply to prevent any return of the Jew to Persian lands. The Greeks went the opposite way attempting to force the Jews to assimilate. The Torah explains that the Jews are a stiff-necked people which spoiled the assimilation plan of the Greeks as the majority of Jews remained and did not take up celebrating Greek holidays nor took up Greek practices and idolatry. As explained, the Romans gave destroying the Jewish People their best shot and likely saved the Jews in the future. Beyond Rome we have to tell the truth, half the Jews resided in the MENA regions which came under Islamic world and the other half remained under European rulers. Despite the fact that both sides suffered similar difficulties, many insist on arguing that the Jews had never been persecuted by the Muslims as Islam is the religion of peace. That is only true when the Muslims control a land and have cleansed them from any non-Islamic interests. This rendition of commentary on Islam is what is found in virtually any history or other book which speaks of Islam as the European historians simply accepted whatever their Islamic guides told them and thus Islam was given a complete pass by the majority of European historians. They simply did absolutely no actual in-depth, in-person research as they had no desire to spend time in the deserts of the MENA nations. Whatever they were told, despite it being a complete whitewash of the brutality the Jews faced and, in its stead, described a perfectly civilized people living in peace.

 

After World War II, anti-Semitism was briefly relegated into the shadows and was largely a plague on the far right. These were the neo-Nazis and the White Supremacists. This has been changing at a consistent rate as these far-right anti-Semites have started to be outpaced by those anti-Semites from the far-left and moving ever closer to being a position of the left. This is a new form of anti-Semitism which professes its innocence from being so labelled because their target does not consist of Jews per se, the target of their acrimonies and enmities is Israel, Israelis and the Zionists who love her. This is but a small smoke-screen behind which they can hide the truth of their hate, it is the new anti-Semitism. Proper and valid complaints about Israel and Israelis is one thing and is not anti-Semitism. What is anti-Semitism, it is demanding that Israel be held to a different and often higher standard than other nations, and that the IDF fight its wars without harming any noncombatant, something not expected from other militaries. These anti-Israeli and anti-Zionist types of anti-Semites will find some singular action and draw attention to this one act claiming it is indicative of the way Jews in Israel act in every case. One of their favorite claims is to turn the Holocaust back upon the Jews by claiming that the Israelis are committing a holocaust on the Arab Palestinians. There is no validity to this absurdity which is proven as the Arab Palestinian population continues to rise, something which would not be impossible if Israel truly desired their slaughter.

 

The facts never matter when the time comes for demonizing the Jews. Any accusation will be met with howls of more, more guaranteeing that every Jew must be guilty as charged, of course. That is how it starts while at the start the effects are rarely felt since their town did not have any Jews and, after all, we would never know a Jew, we’re better people than that. This is the emotional mindset of not only many a Jew hater, but soon it defines the general public and once it passes a certain point, then it becomes accepted amongst that which is the norm making such views the majority. In all too many Jewish neighborhoods, the common threat is the thought that it could never happen here, we are accepted, we have friends, business associates and are accepted members of the society. How do we know that these are the baseline of the Jews in the United States? Because if there were sufficient numbers of Jews to form a congregation, this was how they perceived the world. No such unadulterated and baseless hatred could ever reach their neighborhood, after all they are accepted, they have tenure and all sorts of awards and their employer loves them, all until that day those “others” came to town with their smart uniforms and guns and we just did what we were told, honest. That is just how “it cannot happen here” dies, in a single early morning, when the train disembarked them. The rest we had no means of preventing and then it was too late. Oh, they were so very sorry sharing your women’s jewelry, moving into your vacant house, driving your cars and taking everything which had been yours. How do you think these former friends who claimed they would die before allowing your being taken to the camps would react to your coming back home? Hint, they really do not wish to answer for their taking everything after you were carted away. What happened in way too many such instances, the returning Jew was shot without any witnesses and with all covering up the crime which soon became a non-event. This was the fate of hundreds of thousands of Jews who became untraceable leaving families and friends without closure or even knowing where their next of kin, their friend died and was buried. This was the result of the last Holocaust and will be the result of even future holocausts as once you make one group of people into non-people, then it is easy to do with such however one pleases. Trust that eventually there will be those who will make yours into a non-people and you will have nowhere to run.

 

There is one other piece to the puzzle which is something we have found to be true despite continuous criticism that such a statement cannot be made as generally and liberally as we apply this. But Jews are the ultimate pacifists and always the first to stick up for others in our so-called modern age. Gun control, supported by Jews in horrifying numbers often approaching 90% and even higher. The less traditional the congregation, the further left their politics and the more they support disarming everyone. They never quite figure out how the criminals are supposed to be disarmed when convicted felons on parole are often found to be carrying weapons. If they can acquire a weapon, then anybody with sufficient cash can appropriate a weapon, or be taken by a group of thugs. With such people money is only good if you can defend your right to said money. There used to be a pro-gun advertisement which stated that once there is total gun control, then only the criminals will have guns. They left out that also only the government will have guns, but I guess that was covered after all. There are two ideas which go together, leftist socialism and gun control and they both stem from the same weakness, a feeling that one is helpless and requires the state to care of them. This feeling of helplessness is indicative of the prey mindset, everything is a potential threat unless identified as otherwise. The feeling that they are only safe when with the rest of the herd and thus protected. Take a far left liberal outside their comfort zone and they would fall apart, generally, yes, we know there are exceptions, you outliers. What those who just complained that they are made of better stuff, well, guess you just volunteered to protect the rest of the herd. It may not be your job, but it just may be your responsibility if you believe in Judeo-Christian ethics. Quoting, amongst others, Spiderman, “With great power comes great responsibility.” Sometimes you find your quotes come from the strangest places.

 

Why is it always the Jews? Well, it actually is not always the Jews. There was the mass murder of the Armenians by the Ottoman Turks, the Ukrainian Genocide of 1932–33 by famine which was induced by Stalin as he stole their food to feed Moscow leaving the Ukrainians next to nothing, the Cambodian genocide under the Khmer Rouge and too numerous other times throughout human history. All too numerous of these events involved the Jews for comfort. What we can place forward is that if there exists Jews in a region, they will take the brunt of any terrorism or assault simply because if you are capable of placing Jews amongst those you are opposing, then you can gain unbridled sympathy from Europe, the United Nations and countless organizations simply by decrying that the Jews and Israel are causing your problems. Truth does not matter. But there has been a constant throughout history, it has almost always been the Jews even where there have been scarcely a Jew to be found, should they find a single Jew, then they will be responsible for all damage from one’s civil war and the Jew will be accused of being responsible for everything claimed by either side in the end. The final draft of any agreement will claim that the Jew owes both sides for the loss of their heritage which both claim that the only Jew either side could find destroyed both. This is basically what Turkey is claiming about the areas along their Syrian border as they extend the Turkish borders southward while slaughtering the Kurds the United States State Department decided were expendable after they destroyed most of the Islamic State for the United States and the world, and what has their reward been? They have been denied again the homelands they too were promised after World War I. The difference being the Jews ignored the United States State Department and fought a war intended for their annihilation and established a flourishing modern nation. The Kurds should be permitted to try and do likewise but the world currently believes that the Arabs and Islam are the future. Everyone is permitted their own beliefs, but not their own facts. Well, that would be true except the State Department of the United States believes that the world will function exactly as they predict it will and all will be wonderful if their predilections ever forge reality. These are the people who originally backed the Nazis, then the Russian Communists followed by the Chinese Communists against the Capitalist Chinese who ended up with Formosa, Taiwan, The State Department backed the Communists even after the collapse as they were sure it would rise like the phoenix from the ashes. It did not rise, at least not yet, but we are sure a number of State Department offices are still waiting with great anticipation. To put things bluntly, it has been a long time since the State Department took the right side or did anything productive, but they keep on taking the wrong side every time or not taking a side at all.

That was why we advised the Kurds to declare their independence and pray that the United States Defense Department decided to assist them, which we are fairly certain they would, the only question being whether or not it would be done fast enough. The Kurds if provided with cover sufficient for their declaration of a nation large enough for all the Kurds from Syria, Iraq, Iran and Turkey to live under their own government, they would be another base for the American in case of any emergencies in this region and a check on Erdogan’s hopes for forming a greater Turkey on his way to the Second Ottoman Empire. Kurdistan would have provided the Western world with a stopcock preventing Turkish expansion and putting a damper on the Iranian dreams of being the new Persia. Their not declaring their independence will prove as a bane for them and for the United States. Fortunately for all involved, the Jews ignored the British, the United Nations and the United States State Department and went ahead with building, rebuilding their state home of Israel as best they could. Granted they were required to fight six allied Arab nations who were being advised by the British and German officers who were against the Jews ruling themselves anywhere, let alone where prophesy claimed they would return and rebuild their national homelands. This will persist as the main target for those who oppose the Jews as Israel is the huge poster with the target and bullseye painted upon it.

Where Can the World’s Jews Go?

 

Let us, for argument’s sake, presume that Israel would not be the first choice for much of the Jews should they face needing to relocate from their present country. This is not too far from reality when considering far too many of the American Jews believe every evil thing the world accuses Israel of perpetrating. We are going to assume, for this article and potentially some not too distant future, that the United Nations had voted through the General Assembly a resolution that the Security Council strip Israel of her membership in the United Nations, rescinded the November 29, 1947 Resolution which many believe was permission for the founding of Israel (it was not anything of the kind), declared Israel a non-entity and barred Israel from any interaction with the world of the United Nations. Impossible, you tell us. The United Nations in UNSC Res. 2334 authored and submitted by United States President Obama has already declared all the regions beyond the Green Line to be off-limits to Jews. This was President Obama’s parting shot at Bibi Netanyahu as well as Israel and all Jews in general. Does anybody think for a minute that should the United States cease vetoing anti-Israel resolutions in the Security Council that the rest of the world would waste any time before delegitimizing Israel? Such would be a done deal within two weeks. So, our premise that, thanks to the United Nations, in particular a Security Council with no moral compass remaining, Israel has been ostracized from the rest of the world and the only means of reaching Israel would be to run a United Nations enforcement blockade or walk through Lebanon, Syria, Jordan or Egypt to reach Israel. Your best hope would be a very fast ship in the dead of night simply initially trying to sneak by and if intercepted, well, that is why we stated very fast ship. \

So, the world has spit Israel from its midst, surrounded her with a naval and air blockade, has already shot down two aircraft for entering Israeli air space and detained hundreds from attempting to enter via the Mediterranean and there are no numbers telling the outcomes of any who attempted entry traveling through Arab lands, but it is assumed they did not fare well. At this point in time, there are still over a million Jews in Europe and over three million, possibly four million, Jews in the United States. Were they to face rising levels of animosity both from numerous groups who have rid the world of the scourge of Israel and those who have now set their sights on the remainder of the Jews, where would they find safe refuge. When this is brought up, we hear a lot about the rule of law, human rights and the protections granted by Constitutions and legal principles. Where these arguments fall flat is when one simply looks back at the 1920’s and early 1930’s. Seeking the most advanced, politically free, most private rights protections, highly civilized, leader in physics, mathematics, chemistry, power generation, literature, music and virtually every other human endeavor all eyes turned to Germany. Germany was where scientists went to advance their careers and learn from the greatest minds on the planet. Remember that Albert Einstein still resided in Germany during this period as did most of the other top physicists of this era such as Heisenberg, Edward Teller, James Franck, Wernher von Braun, Niels Bohr, and many numerous others were in Germany making it the center of the world of physics amongst numerous other fields. So, such a purging has occurred in modern times and if one looks throughout human history, the Jews have been purged from nation after nation with some qualifying for that dubious honor more than once. So, it is not as if such is without precedent.

So, we will claim that three and a half million Jews in the United States and almost another million from around the world largely from Europe, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Oceania plus any region with any sizeable Jewish presence, are all forced to vacate from their homes and find someplace in this wide world where they can find refuge. This mass revulsion against the Jews would have been preceded by a United Nations Resolution condemning Jews equating them with being merely half-human and the rest alien to the safety and purity of the human genome. With the Jews now officially a taint to the DNA if they should breed outside their own and a danger should they have children one with another, the only safe path was to expel Jews from everywhere they could be identified. By this time, the world anti-Semitism had reached unprecedented levels and universal acceptance. Obviously, universal acceptance of some of the most damning claims against the Jews now being common fodder everywhere and with Israel barricaded, to where do these Jews flee? The truth of the matter is they would have nowhere to flee just as the nine-hundred-plus Jews on the MS St. Louis sailed the length of the east coast of the United States while Franklin Delano Roosevelt and the State Department refused to allow them entry to America simply because America already had all the Jews they desired. That was the official position expressed by the State Department and we quote, “Breckinridge Long, the State Department officer responsible for issuing visas, was deeply anti-Semitic. He was determined to limit immigration and used the State Department’s power to create a number of barriers that made it almost impossible for refugees to seek asylum in the United States. For example, the application form for US visas was eight feet long and printed in small type. Long believed that he was “the first line of defense” against those who would “make America vulnerable to enemies for the sake of humanitarianism.” Long and his colleagues at the State Department went so far as to turn away a group of Jewish refugees aboard the St. Louis in May 1939 when the German ocean liner sought to dock in Florida after the refugees were denied entry to Cuba. Following their deportation back to Europe, many of these people perished in the Holocaust.” Yet, still, there are numerous Jews who protest to this day, it cannot happen here. Early in 1939, an unidentified Canadian immigration agent was asked how many Jews would be allowed in Canada after the war. He replied, “None is too many.” We could take a trip around the world and seek out more and similar positions concerning allowing the Jews to escape persecution and we doubt it would be any different in such a future. \

Now that we have basically established that it can happen here because it already happened here, let us continue with our little imaginary escapade. With no other nation on earth outside a select few who also took in Jews during the Holocaust and one even denied their Nazi allies when ordered to either murder their Jews or turn them over to the German SS Officer to return them to Germany and put them where they belonged, which of course was Japan, who along with China and the Philippines allowed Jewish refugees harbor. These nations could not give refuge to close to four million refugees without causing unrest in their own cities. Realistically, should the world decide that Israel is the pariah amongst the nations and that the Jews are the contamination which causes such, the only refuge Jews would have available would be Israel.

Perhaps the world would be kind and allow the Jewish refugees from the rest of the world to be permitted a one-time allowance to enter Israel. Such a “kindness” would likely be a limited time affair where they would be permitted at most one month and likely less to make port and live in Israel. This would be welcomed by Israel as she would likely be demanding to be permitted to give refuge. This was proven during the crisis over the Vietnamese Boat People as from 1977 to 1979 the State of Israel permitted approximately 360 Vietnamese boat people fleeing the 1975 Communist takeover of Vietnam to enter the country. Israel has always been more helpful taking people with real emergency situations into Israel from the Syrian civil war and taking care of their immediate needs. Can anybody claim that were the situation reversed that Israelis would be treated in Syria? This is the reality which was evidenced when the Arab world expelled almost one-million Jews with most expelled between 1948 and 1960. The majority were taken in by the young state of Israel despite hardships, difficulties and challenges this caused. Israel did not have sufficient housing and some refugees had to initially be housed with families in Israel who stepped forward and assisted their brothers and sisters. This also is why Israeli statistics today we find that approximately half of the population originated from the Arab world. The idea that the Jews could simply return to Europe if Israel disappeared is as false as any premise could be. These Arab nations would most certainly not permit a single Jew to return and the Europeans would not be much more willing. What we witness today across one third of the world and another third of the world not far behind does not bode well for the future for Jews in the world outside of Israel. This is a reality which the Jews will need to face and unfortunately it will be sooner rather than later. This is true even in the United States as evidenced in this poster which was distributed on the campus of the University of Illinois at Chicago. This is a sign of traditional Jew hatred and such has become endemic on numerous campuses in the United States and across Europe. All the signs are evident for one who is capable of reading the direction politics, life, public opinion and the general mood is headed, and I have been watching and warning Jews since the late 1960’s receiving numerous rebuffs and worse. Perhaps, if my protestations caused a small number to sit up and notice, then I had a positive effect.

Those who claim that the Jews would never face such a scenario, especially where they reside, are simply ignoring history. History has shown that the “other” is always eventually persecuted, ostracized, ghettoized, exterminated, castigated and eventually expelled. This has not been true of only the Jews, but as one of the oldest peoples remaining as an identifiable people, and as one spread throughout the world, we seem to hold the record for such treatment. The Jews throughout history have said the same thing over and over only to end up proven completely wrong, and that is the infamous phrase, “It can’t happen here.” They thought this initially in Egypt, in ancient Persia, in Hellenistic Greece, in pre-Inquisition Spain (Andalusia), in France, Britain, Russia, Germany, Poland and on and on wherever they were to be found. The story is always the same. The Jews arrive and work at trades or take any employment which they can find. Soon the Jews are sending their children to schools using every penny they have ever saved. The Jews with education rise and become respectable. The Jews are finally accepted and this continues for a period of time. Then there would begin some anti-Semitism which spreads slowly like a virus which had a long incubation period. Eventually, the anti-Semitism hits a crucial tipping point and from that time on things start to go awry for the Jews. Initially they no longer receive promotions and their employment reviews head south. Things snowball from there and soon the Jews are being rounded-up for deportation or worse. This is why Israel is vital to the Jewish People. For twenty-five-hundred-years the Jews had nowhere they could go to escape being left to the will of strange people who often were not all that enamored with the Jews and their strange practices and their Hashem who was outside of their reality. Even when those under whom the Jews lived claimed they worshipped the same source, they still decided that the Jews were a threat which required special treatment. These treatments varied and included but not limited to enslavement, pogroms, the Jiyza tax, Inquisitions, expulsions, wearing special marker on their clothing (originated with Muslim rulers in the Eighth Century), purges, purifications and the Holocaust. Still, many Jews living around the world will ignore the history and placate themselves believing it cannot happen here.

They ignore the warning signs such as Ilhan Omar and her ilk in the United States, Jeremy Corbin in Britain and others in each nation as one tours our world. The time will come when Jews will not be considered acceptable to live anywhere outside Israel. The proof is evident in every vote taken against Israel in the United Nations General Assembly where at most a dozen nations actually vote against the measures. Some people will claim that there were twenty, thirty or even forty nations who abstained, that simply means they are in the process of condemning Israel once the United States joins those condemning the Jewish State. The United States joining those who condemn Israel or at the very least no longer provide Israel protection in the Security Council, then we will see who remains with Israel. Fortunately for many nations, Israel does not check their United Nations voting record when they suffer a natural or other disaster and Israel rushes anywhere on the globe to assist those who allow her to do so. We were even surprised by the number and various disasters which have received Israeli aid including the United States after Hurricane Katrina and Super Storm Sandy. One is left to wonder when this age where Jews are left out, will Israel still be permitted to assist people in distressed conditions due to storms, earthquakes, eruptions or any of hundreds of other problems. Somehow, we feel assured that the developments, inventions, discoveries and scientific achievements made by Israel will continue to make the world a better place, all the world need do is allow Israel to share and she will even to a hostile world. This is just how Jews are wired, we have an insatiable need to make the world better for our being able to play a part in it. As we are commanded, we are to be a light unto the nations, no qualifiers.

Is Israel Necessary?

 

Most of the animus and hatred towards Israel is against the Jewish People as well. The scorn and defamation used against Israel are simply adjusted forms of anti-Semitism modeled to target the Jewish State instead of targeting the Jews themselves. Many of the accusations heard against Israel today can be traced linearly to the anti-Semitisms in both the East and West, in Christian and Muslim worlds which permeated their lexicons throughout centuries since the inception of both religions. Both Islam and Christianity claimed to have replaced the Jews defining the Jews as cast from Hashem and now a tool of Satan. Islam also claimed to have replaced Christianity which should make them just as wary and nervous over Islamic extremism (in reality it is actual essence of Islam and not some stray sect but the mainstream in Islam) and the threats they pose and even proclaim loudly for all to hear. But is Israel necessary or is its existence a causal effect stoking stronger anti-Semitism as a result of Israel’s existence. This will depend on whether people are willing to be objective and honest when addressing the problem just existing has been for the Jew living in much of the world, specifically the Christian West and the Islamic East.

 

The very first item one need get their arms around is that people in the West have been fed a romanticized version of the history within the Islamist world. The Jews know this first-hand as in Israel our population is spread fairly evenly between those who fled, were exiled or otherwise forced from Christian lands and those who fled, were exiled or otherwise forced from Islamic lands. The stories bare a striking commonality, when things went well, the Jew was left to live on the fringes of society and not permitted equality with their hosts and always eyed nervously and when things were less than exemplary, then it was the Jew who bore the brunt of the blame and was the group which was always just a crisis away from persecution, torture, pogrom, being run out of town or simply being executed for being a Jew, the obvious source of all ills. Most of the Jews who came to Israel from Europe after World War II and soon after her declaration of independence arrived with the clothes they were wearing, often tattered and torn to the point of not being recognized as suitable clothing and maybe a small satchel with everything they had left in the world, often worth next to nothing as many carried pictures of their relatives who perished in the death camps. The decade after Israel survived her initial war, where six Arab armies and a slew of militias attacked the nascent state on the first morning of her existence in what was supposed to be a simply slaughtering of the Jews, the Arab World spat out their Jews after stealing everything of any value. Fortunately, nobody informed the Jews about this and Israel, despite losing Gaza to Egypt and Judea and Samaria to Jordan, retained the remainder of what was allotted Israel by international treaties and conventions convened after World War I. The reestablishment of Israel was decided in the aftermath of World War I and thus was a fact in the making before the Holocaust, so Israel was not founded because of the holocaust, the Holocaust was partly due to the British refusing to permit the Jews to declare their independence and working behind the scenes with the Arabs in attempts to delay and eventually renege and not permit Israel to be born. The Jews are a pesky bunch as once they get their mind set on something, they usually attain that goal, and Israel was no exception.

 

During the decade after the birthing pains inflicted by the Arab invasion which cost the lives of nearly ten percent of the population of the state of Israel, the Arab world had their cleansing ritual where over eight-hundred-thousand Jews were expelled by various means from across the Middle East and Northern Africa, mostly the Arab Islamic world plus Iran, and were taken in by Israel. These Jews from the Islamic world had been stripped of all wealth; most of their possessions, family heirlooms, businesses, homes, vehicles, jewelry even down to ornate picture frames and anything that glittered were stolen. They arrived in Israel with their clothes on their backs and if fortunate, a suitcase or two per family. Unlike their Arab refugee brethren, mostly the Arabs consisted of those who heeded the Mufti of Jerusalem when he bade them to take refuge behind the Arab armies and then they could return in a few days and share the wealth of the Jew; the Jews welcomed their brothers and sisters and despite financial hardship, they took them to their bosoms and built Israel together. The Arab refugees waited and after two years of fighting where the Arab armies failed to destroy Israel, the Arabs rounded up their faithful who had done as the Mufti demanded, and they placed them in refugee camps where they and their offspring have languished to be used as a weapon against Israel and the Jew. This is why truth be told, Israel Never Placed a Single Arab in a Refugee Camp. That is true despite all the lies you may have heard about what the terrible Israelis did forcing all these Arab refugees into camps for generations; it was, is and apparently will continue to be an all Arab project loaded with their spin of propaganda which they employ in their attempt to destroy Israel.

 

The Arab League, after the Six Day War, met that September and adopted the Khartoum Resolution with what is known as the “Three No’s”, “No peace with Israel, No recognition of Israel, and No negotiations with Israel;” which can be translated into a single no, no Israel. This has been their starting and ending point for all attempts at finding a solution, including the results even if not obviously the exact words of the Khartoum Resolution, they kept the spirit. So, exactly what do the Arabs and Islamic world desire? That is an easy one to answer, they will accept any peace where Israel is placed under Arab rule, the Jews are to be treated with the same respect as they were in Medina, and then there will be a second Holocaust, as close to seven-million Israelis who are Jewish will be murdered and the over one-hundred-thousand Christian Israelis will be made to be Dhimmi if they are fortunate and murdered with the Jews as there will be an attempt to make the prediction from 1948 so succinctly by Azzam Pasha, Secretary-General of the Arab League at that time who stated, “It will be a war of annihilation. It will be a momentous massacre in history that will be talked about like the massacres of the Mongols or the Crusades.” But the main reason that there exists a necessity for the state of Israel does not have to do with her current population, they are safe for as long as the IDF remains strong and motivated. What it does have to do with are the Jews still living in the Diaspora as they will sooner or later face times of oppression and active attempts at extermination and their only refuge will be Israel.

 

Today, Israel is approaching the point where half the World’s Jews reside in our homelands. These are the homelands of ours after many painful compromises, surrenders as without a nation and an army, how does one contend with the British Empire whose soldiers populate the entirety of your lands and refuse to leave. This is where the tale actually begins. After World War I and the defeat of the Austrian-Hungarian Empire, Greater Germany and the Ottoman Empire by the Allied powers, the lands of the losing side were cut into numerous nations with each of the allies given lands from the Ottoman Empire to oversee reconstituting some form of governance. (For a map of the resultant division in Eastern and Central Europe and the Balkans click here) Below is a map of what was the British Mandate for the establishing of a homeland for the Jewish People. The British made a clerical decision that their mandate to use these lands for a homeland for the Jews meant that some of the land would be used for such and the British could do as they pleased with the remainder. Their initial desire was to keep their promise to the Hashemites and provide a kingdom for both of Hussein ibn Ali al-Hashimi’s sons. Thus, Faisal and Abdullah were crowned with Faisal becoming the king of Iraq and no lands for Abdullah. But the British had a solution and they approached the Zionist Congress, a group of Jews armed largely with pens with which to write to newspapers and officials, but nary a useable gun between them, and proposed that the British Mandate become two lands, one Arab and one for the Jews. The British suggested the Jordan River would make for the perfect boundary with the 78% to the east of the River becoming Jordan under Abdullah, and the remaining 22% would be for the Jews, they promised, solemnly, which means they did not mean to leave well enough alone. The Zionist Congress agreed as what else could they have done. So, any Jews who were residing, farming, tending herds or anything east of the Jordan River found themselves forced to abandon their stake and hastily make for the western side of the Jordan where they would be safer. When the United Nations, which under Article 80 of the Charter is supposed to enforce the Mandate system as received from the League of Nations, broke their support for the original British plan and decided that there needed to be two states for two peoples west of the Jordan River. This is the original two state solution. Once again, those responsible for making decisions for the Jews accepted the United Nations compromise, as they did not see any alternative at that point. The Arab League rejected this proposed solution as they had already planned to take care of these upstart Jews as soon as they claimed to be a nation. As this was a General Assembly Resolution, as soon as one side refused it, the resolution is considered dead and buried, well, except this one. The Arabs have claimed that they would accept this solution now but it is no longer considered viable. Truth is, Israel is residing on 22% of the lands initially set aside for the Jewish State and this is too much for the world, they want Israel to be smaller. How much smaller? Well, how small can you make it; can you make it so small that it disappears? That the world would accept with great fanfare and celebratory parties around the globe.

But Israel has managed to not only survive, but to thrive, and this rankles a great number of people. But despite all of her successes, Israel has not yet fulfilled her true purpose, a purpose which despite our hopes that this never becomes the case, we see the world and know the true test for Israel will soon be upon us. Israel is the safety catch for Jews which we have had to survive without for approximately two-thousand years. During the Holocaust and all the horrors which were World War II, for Jews there was a specific horror as it opened wide the world body and revealed a darkened heart which had no mercy, concern, care nor compassion for the Jew. This was the Voyage of the Damned, the ship was the luxury cruise liner M.S. St. Louis which left Germany with over nine-hundred Jews fleeing the Nazis who had papers and all the right permissions to disembark at Cuba. Bending to pressures from within and without, the Cuban government reneged on their permissions cancelling their papers refusing to allow them to disembark. The M.S. St. Lois made her way back to Europe with every nation she passed along the way refusing to take any of the Jews except for a small number, some who had British citizenship and some who found any means of not returning to Germany. Most of the passengers who were returned to mainland Europe did not survive the war with many finding death at the hands of the Nazi death machines at Auschwitz and Treblinka. These Jews had no Israel, and this is why the world required an Israel.

 

Looking around Europe and the rest of the world and witnessing the ever-climbing occurrences of Jew hatred in all the forms of anti-Semitism, and the need for an Israel becomes excessively evident. Jews have been denied marching in LGBTQIA events, the Women’s Day March and numerous other events which are part and parcel of the intersectionality definition of those causes which are acceptable and those which require the exclusion of all who support it or are suspected of supporting those unincluded causes. Israel is at the very top of the list with a whole set of sub-causes attached. One of the disqualifying traits is being too obviously Jewish and thus appearing to support Israel. The sole means of breaking from such labeling is to openly and with great ardor supporting the Arab cause and denouncing Israel louder and longer than anyone else, then, just then, maybe you will be permitted to join the intersectionality club. When the people of the far left and their endeared ones such as Ms. Omar, Ms. Tlaib, Ms. Sarsour, Ms. Perez and Ms. Mallory take the helm of the progressive causes in a decade or so, the relationship between Israel and the United States will be on thin ice. Each election will decide whether Israel is favored or targeted. From that point, it is but a slip on a banana peel to the complete rejection of Israel and the rejection of the Jews within the nation. When the United States reaches the point where her Jews are endangered, the signs should be noticeable, as this will follow after Europe has tread that same path a short while earlier. This is why the world needs Israel, if all the discoveries, cures, life improving technologies, agricultural miracles and all the other contributions which come from Israel were not sufficient, which apparently they are not. Israel has been a repository from more than Jews needing a safe place to which to flee. Israel, from 1977 to 1979, permitted approximately three-hundred-sixty Vietnamese boat people fleeing the 1975 Communist takeover of Vietnam to take up residence in Israel offering them citizenship if they so desired. Some of these refugees went so far as to convert to Judaism and their families still reside in Israel. Israel has treated thousands of Syrians who have fallen victim to the horrific civil war raging in that nation. Israel provides medical care for thousands of Palestinian Arabs each year despite the constant threat of terrorism coming from the Palestinian controlled areas. Additionally, Israel is often the first to have a fully operational field hospital set up wherever in the world a natural disaster or other calamity has taken place. These are just a small sample of the reasons that Israel should be viewed as a treasure and not shunned as a pariah as is proven all too often when votes are counted at the United Nations General Assembly and other activities by numerous United Nations agencies. Still, the number one reason the world needs Israel is simply as the place where they can send their Jews when they decide that they are no longer desired. That is a sad commentary on the world, but it is an unfortunate truth.
