The World is Suffering with a Feverish Hate

We will make our disclaimer at the top of the article by admitting that the illness from which most of the world suffers has not taken over the world completely as of yet. The feverish hatred the world is suffering from has numerous differing but equally vicious strains which allows it to take on different forms, shapes and have differing symptoms. Sometimes the caustic form of this affliction simply jumps before you making some wonder from whence did such hate return. One form of this virulent affliction is often reported as being merely anti-Semitism. This also has become the catch-all-phrase by which some intending far more harm are simply represented as being merely anti-Semitic. This has even gotten to the deepest point with their condemnation of Israel, Judaism, Judeo-Christian ethics and all which has developed under the protective culture of the Western World insisting that they can structure a more equitable world based largely upon Socialism and an ideal means of sharing the wealth. They use the same bromides that Capitalism is the system the Jew uses to control the world and steal wealth from everyone. Then there is the accusation that the Jews are behind every war such that they can gain wealth by selling the weapons to both sides. Some have traced this canard back to Sir Hiram Stevens Maxim who invented the Maxim Machine Gun (see image below) whose basic design was utilized by both sides and all the armies engaged in World War I and took an inordinate number of lives on both sides. The actual sale of the designs for the Maxim Gun came from the arms merchants who procured the drawings from Maxim and then in turn sold these to Germany, France, Britain and other nations each one under a different name all while giving a commission to Sir Maxim which was included in the original licensing agreement each had signed. The only problem with blaming Sir Maxim for this reputed claim against the Jews in general is two-fold, first, the uncertainty of Sir Maxim’s actual religion and secondly, the accusation dates back far before World War I and the invention of the Maxim Gun. But whenever it comes to hate, who lets facts get in the way or reason to be employed at all, they would just get in the way.

Modern anti-Semitism has its roots in the simple need to denigrate the Jews so as to allow for reason to portray the new faiths born of Judaism to become dominant and replace the Jews as the primary monotheistic faith. This became true of Christianity and their doctrine of replacement theology. Islam picked up from this claim of the Christians and amped it up to make their claim as being the final revelation and thus replacing both Judaism and Christianity. The problem is that both faiths, Christianity and Islam had a special and visceral hatred of the Jews and Judaism with both faiths for millennia being desirous of eliminating the Jewish faith and its adherents so as to complete their mastery over the Jews and proving that the Jews had been forsaken by Hashem. This is partially the reason that the Vatican refused to recognize the State of Israel because if the Jews have returned to their ancestral homelands, then maybe Hashem had not forsaken them and this would invalidate much that the Catholic faith held as true. This argument goes double for Islam for there is their claim that the Jews are accursed and secondly is that Israel came into being as a result of the defeat of the Ottoman Empire who allied with Germany and Austro-Hungary in World War I. During the Protestant Reformation, the new and claiming to be more pure faiths, which came into being, all held to be even more against the accursed Jew making for fertile ground for the massacres of Jews and their being hounded and chased from nation to nation and even continent to continent. In Europe, this hatred culminated in the Holocaust, the mutated child of the universal Christian hatreds and condemnations of the Jews. In the Middle East, North Africa and the remainder of the Islamic World, this hatred has yet to ferment into its final most virulent form, but it is rapidly reaching that phase.

Anti-Semitism has morphed in modernity into anti-Zionism and hatred for the Jewish State of Israel. The desire to believe the claim that the Jews swept out of Europe and stole Arab lands to build their state drives to further their hatred. The dates often used are in the immediate end of World War II and the Holocaust, though until the British left the region, they prevented most Jews from reaching the Promised Lands forcing them to remain in internment camps until after Israel was declared on May 15, 1948. What the propaganda does not bother to inform one of is that the Arab and Muslim States deported, chased out or made life so difficult that fleeing was the only real option, often with little or nothing of their possession their families may have accrued in the over thousand-years residing in these lands. These refugees very quickly became clearly half of the population of the State of Israel by the mid-1950’s. Since that time, there have been numerous other influxes of Jews of color, one might say. These include the Ethiopian Jews, the Bnei Menashe of India or any of our other lost brothers and sisters. When people speak about the Jews can simply return to the European countries they came from, they are ignoring a solid plurality of Israelis who are either natural born Israelis with many whose families trace their roots back to the era of King David and King Solomon with a few who go back even earlier. The Ethiopian Jews were facing horrid persecution to the point the government incarcerated entire villages for their protection, and most of these have been brought to Israel. While there remain many, Bnei Menashe are still residing in India and doing well, but those who have chosen to make Aliyah do not desire any return to India. The original eight-hundred-fifty-thousand Jews from across the Middle East and North Africa would also face extremely bad reception should they ever attempt to return to their nations of origins. The canard that Israel was born out of the consciences of the Europeans after the Holocaust is also patently false if for no other reason; they may not even be anywhere close to being a majority of the population.

The numerous accusations leveled at Israel in general and the Jews, both within and outside of Israel, have only become more heightened as the Arab World, with their oil wealth, has pressed hard in pressing the propaganda that Israel is simply European guilt imposed as punishment on the Arabs. The reality is that Israel was fought for in a political struggle which made great headway with the Balfour Declaration, a letter of assurances won by the Zionist cause. This was followed by the San Remo Conference, several other treaties, the establishment of the Mandate System, the White Papers leading to the formation of an Arab State (Jordan) and a Jewish State (Israel) sharing the Jordan River as their border. The Arabs refused this and immediately attacked the Nascent Jewish State with the armies of six Arab countries, Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq and Saudi Arabia. Miraculously, Israel survived and eventually, as it appeared that Israel was closing in on expelling the Arab forces beyond her designated borders and thus denying Arabs of at least some claim of victory, occupying regions, sections of Judea and Samaria as well as Gaza. That is mostly what has led to the current fiasco with the claims that Israel stole Palestinian Land when conquering Palestine, a neat trick as such a nation has never existed and the only nations to use Jerusalem as their Capital City the Twelve Tribes of Israel and later Judea after the Assyrians conquered the norther Ten Tribes. But the Arab claim that the Jews have never resided in this region since they arrived. Well, oddly enough, that is mostly true, but it is mostly true about the Arabs as well. The Arabs did not arrive on the scene in Israel until after 625 A.D. The Jews were dispersed from Judea as punishment for being so rebellious before 150 A.D. and before that the Judeans, formerly the Hebrews, had resided in this regions, despite a number of conquests such as the Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, Romans, Caliphate (Arabs), and Ottomans and finally the British, as you can see it has been an active region with a myriad of changes. The Jews have been dispersed by Rome and yearning to return to our ancestral homeland ever since. The return was never honestly possible and it took a number of miracles which had been foretold by Torah and the commentaries from across the ages in several separate Talmud and other writings. Still, there are anti-Semitic people who will claim that the Jews are an invented people with no actual history of living anywhere special, they are an accursed people who have been sentenced for their grievous sins to forever roam the world being chased from place to place, country to country, always persecuted and always too weak to stand proud and refuse to be threatened any longer. This is the big problem many have with Israel, Jews, well armed and fully capable of defending themselves and their religious rights. There is this dichotomy between people claiming, ‘How could the Jews of Europe simply allow themselves to be herded and then slaughtered,’ against ‘Does Israel have to be so forceful and militarily powerful and fully capable of defending her people from attack.’ Come-on people, it has to be either one or the other, there is no middle ground as much as is claimed. Should the Arabs lose a war against Israel, which has actually happened at least four times and possibly much more depending on definitions of Arabs fighting and losing, the Arab world continues almost unchanged as it is enormous compared to Israel (see map below). On the other side of the coin, should Israel lose just once and then it is all over to be immediately followed by the slaughter of as many as seven or more million Jews should the Arabs defeat Israel. There is the reality, as far as the Jews being taken and absorbed into some other nation’s population. We are painfully aware of how quickly all of Europe and very likely the United States and Canada along with Australia and most of the remainder of the world would shutter their borders claiming they had taken in more than their share of refugees and the Jews should try any other country, just not them. This was the case more often than not during the Holocaust where a large number of the Jews who successfully escaped, they did so by undertaking perilous journeys over mountains and other natural and manmade obstacles’ all in the name of safety and refusing to give up on living free, with an emphasis on living. Another large falsification of history was that the Jews by a large majority did not fight back against the Nazis. In numbers approaching forty-five to fifty percent of Jews were members of resistance groups with the best known being the Bielski Brothers who managed to feed, clothe and support often as many as two-thousand Jews from toddlers to the extremely aged with quite a number requiring varying amounts of assistance just to walk or move from place to place. They did this while the Nazis searched for them often their daring exploits saved their fellow Jews. The reputation that Jews are timid little creatures who are afraid of their own shadow is another misnomer put to rest by the existence of Israel.

Another reason that some hold a grudging hatred for the Jewish State is they fear the jews will turn around and inflict upon them retribution for the pains and injuries of the past. Trust us that Israel is not in the business of retribution of the grievous errors committed in the past, there are more than sufficient current problems to go after without digging up old and baring old wounds better left to rest in peace. The difficulty is that many of the people who the Jews have no intention of harming cannot believe that the Jews are not vengeful, as they would retaliate were the roles reversed. These fears then drive a form of pre-vengeance where they accuse the Jews of intending to do what they believe would be the normal actions were they facing a similar situation and finally had the ability to take the upper hand. This actually strikes to the heart of much of the anti-Semitism and anti-Zionism around the world today, often held by people who have never met knowingly a Jewish person in their lives, a completely error-filled belief in what it is to be a Jew and what a Jew, or Zionist or Israel collectively would act, think, feel, believe or even give a second thought. Ignorance drives much of anti-Semitism, anti-Israelism and anti-Zionism.

The final misconception should have been dispelled by the map above nearer the top of the page. Immediately above for this discussion, we have a little gem of a map replacing Israel with something of common size which people, especially in the United States or have ever visited the central east coast of the United States, we used the state which most resembles Israel right down to being almost the same size, New Jersey. The locations of the cities are not exact, but they are referenced to matching places in New Jersey. The area of New Jersey is twenty-two-thousand-six-hundred square kilometers and Israel measures in at twenty-thousand-seven-hundred-seventy square kilometers, a difference of less than ten-percent. Many people believe that Israel is this fairly robust and expansive nation which had greatly expanded borders as they displace Arab after Arab and Israel expands her borders. This is so false it is almost laughable except for the fact that it is a real problem and a belief which many refuse to shake even when the reality is explained. Israel had an age of Empire under David and Solomon, and after the Six Day War and through the Yom Kippur War Israel held the Sinai Peninsula which is three times the size of Israel, and Israel returned the entirety of these lands including the oil reserves found beneath. This peace with Egypt and the return of the Sinai Peninsula was the origin of land for peace, a concept which has failed and left Israel vulnerable to the hatred spawned through lies and misrepresentations of who the Jews are, what Israel is, and what is the driving force behind the Jewish State. Here is a little something stated succinctly by Jay Leno in the picture below which a quote which cuts to the core of the situation with Israel and how the misconception can start.

Jay Leno Speaks Out

Of course, the average anti-Semite resists any and all arguments and simply refutes any defense provided by Israelis or Jews as simply misinformation or some form of that devious Jew propaganda we use to twist people’s minds. If the Jews had some form of propaganda which twisted people’s minds making them simply love Israel and the Jews without understanding why, do you really believe we would be permitting the attacks from the European Union, its member states, the United Nations and across the spectrum of their NGOs, Agencies, and agenda driven conferences whereby Israel is always condemned. The Group of 77, a block of over one-hundred developing nations which virtually always votes with the Arab block, especially when it comes to Israel, and this came to the fore when they selected Mahmoud Abbas and the Nations of Palestine to hold their leadership position. Add onto this the fact that the Jews are accused of being the leading figures in two spate groups who are mutually exclusive, but as the jews are a diverse group when it comes to politics, both sides can point to prominent Jews in both camps, as there are likely prominent Catholics, Protestants, Muslims and any other group found on both sides. This is the debate between nationalism and internationalism. During World War II, it was the nationalist Nazis and the internationalist Russian Communists. Both groups were supportive of forms of socialism, but one was German nationalist while the other were the internationalist Communists. Both nations desired world rule but the Germans desired everything in the name of Nazi Germany while the Communists desired the world ruled by the State which would set everything for every area in the world in the name of the people but actually serving an elite corps. Neither is the cup of tea for most Israelis but we do value the identity as a nation, the Jewish nation which has numerous minorities within and the sole nation where the Jews are the majority. While there are almost as many Jews residing in the United States, they constitute a mere two percent of the population, in Israel with a slight numerical advantage; the Jews are a whopping three-quarters of the populace. The Jewish People have had a consistent presence in Jerusalem and throughout the Shomron until after the 1948 war and Jordan evicted each and every Jews stealing their land and appropriating it to the Jordanians who they forced to relocate into these regions, an International crime. But, once again, when people decide to hate and blame others for their misfortunes and often self-inflicted difficulties, their chosen target will be the Jewish People simply for no other reason beyond old habits die-hard and will morph from being the view of the paleo-conservatives but is now pouring ever more quickly and in fierce torrents from the leftists. The new face of anti-Semitism can be found in the woman’s movement, with Louis Farrakhan, with the newly elected Muslims, particularly the Sudanese claiming they are Palestinian refugees, and they have likely been added to some lists so as to legitimize the claims. That is how much of this new version of an old hatred starts and it will only grow worse. There is an optimistic view, worse is better than some times from the history of the Jewish People, especially during the times the Greeks demanding the Jews forget Torah as they banned its use and went further in banning circumcision. This has been a trend in Europe along with making ritual slaughter illegal in other nations. These are all old tactics through which they make obeying Torah a crime and eventually the Jews will leave their faith, or they leave the region with such laws. Either way, these actions allow for segregation of the Jews by other means. These are the less than subtle moves to force Judaism from Europe once more which will only serve to be the final fall of Europe into darkness with their Jews all deported or having left of their own volition. Will the United States follow? Perhaps they might right along with Canada, and then the world shrinks if you are a Jew.

The Hate Tsunami Against Jews and Blaming Israel

Many wish to differentiate between anti-Semitism, anti-Israelism and anti-Zionism. We will admit right up front, criticizing Israel does not immediately qualify one as anti-Semitic but that there are means of researching to see if their reasoning was driven by anti-Semitism. When one only criticizes Israel while ignoring every other of the ills in this big, wide and often very afflicted world; that just might be a significant hint of anti-Semitism. On the other hand, anti-Zionism, the denial of the right of Jews, and only Jews, to desire and work in support of their ancient homelands, that most definitely is anti-Semitism as there could not be any other name for such a specific denial outside hatred. Anti-Semitism was prematurely pronounced dead and buried by the Allied Powers of World War II. Their presumption was that the everlasting memory of the horrors of the Holocaust would live in the world consciousness thus ending all shreds of anti-Semitism on the entirety of Earth. There were a few problems with their presumptuous. First, there were those on this little blue marble swirling in the ink-black void of space who actually cheered Hitler as a hero, whose leaders insisted that they were the appointed to finish what the Nazis started and the rest of the world had memories which, even with pictures and reminders, fell far short well within the first half of a century. Are there people who remember the horrors, of course. But nobody thought to teach it to the future generations, well, at least not too many in this current generation if Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is representative. The troops which were so unfortunate as to walk unexpectedly into the camps liberating them and who saw the human skeletons and other horrors, something normal people prefer not to even wish to contemplate, had nightmares for years yet never conveyed the full horror any further than a quarter century, and then they were forgotten and the world forgot their horror along with their former heroes. The specter of anti-Semitism has returned with a vengeance and morphed into two additional forms, anti-Zionism and anti-Israelism.

What is really disconcerting is reading how anti-Semitism in all its forms is on the increase every time reading the news. Reading things like the fact that one in five youths between the ages of 18 to 34 in most of Europe state that they had never heard of the Holocaust. More than one in four in Europe believes that Jews have too much influence on business and finance. Jews are still accused of having caused much of the conflicts and wars around the world. One in three Europeans admits they knew little or nothing at all about the Holocaust and use the Holocaust to promote their positions and goals. Over 25% in Europe feel that manifestations of anti-Semitism in their countries come in response to Israel’s actions. About one-third in Europe believes Jews have too much influence on the media. Just last week, former president of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, excoriated Moshe Klughaft assailing the Israeli political consultant as a “money-grubbing Jew,” and “dirty Jew.” Then there is the entirety of the Arab Boycott gone global as the BDS Movement and the entirety of the anti-Semitic declarations regularly pumped out by the United Nations General Assembly and the related tentacles of the United Nations. Not to leave out the United States, where in 2017 there was over a 50% increase in reported anti-Semitic crimes and attacks over 2016. Now, in 2018, in Squirrel Hill, a gloriously lovely neighborhood in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, eleven Jews were shot dead during a Bris on what was hoped to be a festive Shabbat morning. This was the worst murder of Jews in United States history. We can only wonder if that horror-filled Shabbat is simply the symptom of a world growing slowly but surely to an old, an ancient disease which robs the mind of reason and instead pours in an illogical hatred of a people who are less than 0.2% of the world’s population. They claim that they have reasons for their hatred, as this minute number from within the world at large is responsible for every ill that the world suffers. They point to the accomplishments of individual Jews and then claim those who contribute so much to the welfare of the world do so to hide their crimes.

Burning Israel Star of David

Perhaps the world should get to know all of the Jewish People. We are an ancient people who have had to manage to survive numerous empires which wished our flame to be extinguished. Some of them might be recognized by the few who have studied some history, the more the better. Naming just a few, the Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, Romans, Caliphate, Inquisition, Ottomans, Nazis and a slew of others. Most are no longer with us and those which are, are no longer empires. But survival also provided the Jewish People with experience in numerous occupations which we had no choice as we were denied ownership of land and eventually were denied even life during the Shoah, the Holocaust which people are so conveniently attempting to forget and bury as ancient history. Sure, there have been many smart Jews as we have always demanded our children read and education was paramount. What is hidden behind the awards and the lauding of discoveries is that there are a fairly sizable number of Jews who lack mental acuity. Some are unable to read or do elementary mathematics. Some have Mucolipidosis, Niemann-Pick Disease, Familial Mediterranean Fever, Crohn’s Disease and a number of others just an unknown to the public at large and even to many Jews. There is a slightly above normal percentage of Jews who suffer mental diseases which many blame to the limited gene pool from remaining a separate peoples. Mostly we take care of one another not relying heavily on outside assistance as with our history such has been not exactly reliable as it has often been withdrawn with little or no warning. One of the familiar accusations against the Jews is that they are all wealthy. Well, if Torah is what the accusation were about, then we would definitely be guilty though we willingly would share the knowledge within and have through the ages. But they mean financially. They also claim that the Jews control governments and all have some secret union from which they all benefit greatly. If by this last accusation they mean we assist one another, again, of that we are guilty.

I was blessed in an unusual manner in that for most of my life I was one of those wealth challenged Jews. I did not live in the main Jewish neighborhoods and very often, the closest Jewish residence was over five miles. While in Wyoming, I believe the closest Jew may have been a day’s drive. This allowed me to reside among largely American Christians and as I have blonde hair and blue eyes, I do not readily get identified as Jewish. This allowed me to hear first hand what many people would say amongst their friends about Jews. If it were a person with whom I was friends or in a group of friends and one person I did not desire to embarrass, I would not mention anything about their comments, though those who knew of my faith would always have their heads swivel towards me when these comments were made waiting for my explosion. Never did I lose my temper about such things with very few exceptions. It was interesting to watch reactions when I asked people after such a comment how they explained my. They would ask me what I meant and that would be when I identified as Jewish. The usual reaction was something like you’re kidding or no way or other expression of disbelief. At times when none of those in the group knew I was Jewish, the challenge question was always to say my Jewish name, which I readily provided and corrected them that it was simply my name given in Hebrew and not like any secret Jewish name. Some thought we had secret Jewish names we used when we met for whatever reason. What was remarkable was how many people I met in the United States, I lived in over forty states over time, who had never knowingly met a Jew in their lives. Yes, there are actually a fair number of Americans who had not met a Jew before they met me, what a representation I was and probably owe many of my brothers and sisters an apology. Their shock was finding out that Jews actually resided, not only outside the main Jewish areas of the city, but one actually lived right there in their neighborhoods. If I educated at least one of those I met, then it served a purpose and whatever the results, they served Hashem as all serves His purpose. In this, I can know, even if I may never understand, that hopefully my small efforts might be seeds which will help some to spread understanding, I pray.

Iran and Proxies Increasingly Threatening Israel Part II

This has been the misconception of late by Hamas, Hezballah and Iran, that Israel is simply second-rate and not up to facing their masterful and complete dominance. That is obvious in the above quote of the Supreme Leader’s Tweet. He believes the IDF is just not the same IDF as the great victor in the Six Day War and the Yom Kippur War. He thinks the IDF has gone soft and can no longer even fight against the terror groups amassed on her northern and southern borders. Needless to point out, despite his assessment, there has been no order for these two groups to actively attempt to destroy Israel. One can only wonder why the hesitance if the IDF is so powerless against these two supreme Arab forces. Perhaps we can explain the reason that they have not truly tested Israel. The reason that the IDF has appeared weak is two fold. The last confrontation in Lebanon the commanders were told to use restraint and not to completely destroy every and anything which posed a threat. The recent barrage from Gaza killed a Palestinian Arab and injured perhaps a dozen or so people and traumatized a fair number but did next to no damage despite over four-hundred rockets fired. This was because the Iron Dome intercepted close to two-hundred of the rockets preventing them from striking heavily residential or other regions. The Israeli defense basically rendered the Hamas rocket barrages mute. The same would be the case for any barrage of the tens upon tens of thousands rockets, and now some guided missiles, which Hezballah could fire, as the Israeli Iron Dome is just for the short range rockets. Israel also has three (perhaps four or five or more) other known (and unknown) systems which launch interceptors (or energy beams) to destroy incoming longer-range projectiles. The reason the IDF has not utterly devastated the entirety of Hezballah and Hamas weapons inventories and their support structure is because they have been restrained. Launch what you claim to be contemplating; an all out effort by all your combined forces in Gaza, Lebanon and the IRGC from Syria and possibly out of the Sinai Peninsula and then you will witness the true abilities of the IDF. Of course, the vast majority of those you order to engage Israel will not be able to tell about the force that struck them so fast and hard that they were frozen in place as they, will have gone to their virgins. Israel would prefer to make peace with her neighbors and all that is required for such a peace is the ability with Islam in general and the neighbors of Israel to settle the Palestinian Arabs outside the borders promised to Israel, the Jewish State, by the San Remo Conference, the Mandate System, the British Crown and Article 80 of the United Nations Charter. We do not desire to rule the world, to expand our borders beyond what was promised, or to interfere with any other worldly affairs, we would be simply quite pleased to be allowed to live our lives within our promised borders and share our discoveries with everyone, assist all who are suffering from some cataclysm, assisting those we can using advanced technology and agricultural methods and otherwise aiding the world the best we are able in exchange for being allowed the privilege of doing such.

But the leaders of Iran (formerly Persia but they decided that Aryan would be a better name in 1935 in order to proclaim their being the origins of the Aryan race) desire to complete the world of Adolph Hitler by engaging in a second Holocaust despite their denial that the Nazis ever conducted the original Holocaust. The people of Iran are not the enemies of Israel and many would be some of our greatest friends if only they were ruled by representative governance. Before 1979 and the “Iranian Revolution,” actually more the American experiment gone wrong in Iran thanks to President Jimmy Carter, the man who claimed the Grand Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini was a man of the cloth so he had to be righteous and peace-loving. This was just another great reckoning with a fantasy, and not reality, by the one, and thankfully only, Jimmy Carter. The rest, as they say, is history which includes the unfortunate hostage crisis which held fifty-two American citizens for four-hundred-forty-four days before folding the day that Ronald Reagan was sworn in as President. Of course, there are a thousand million conspiracy theories that Reagan and the Republicans were behind the hostage crisis in order to defeat Carter. Whatever. These are the Iranians which the world is dealing with currently.

Distance Between Israel and Iran Plus Nuclear Sites and Size Comparison

Distance Between Israel and Iran Plus Nuclear Sites and Size Comparison

Now we would like to introduce the world to a simple, but apparently beyond the ability of Westerners to understand, reality. Western Civilization, for what it is worth, has no current concept of world conquest as these civilizations have given up on ruling the world. The Greeks, Romans, Spanish, Portuguese, British all tried and failed never quite recovering from their efforts. The United States gave it an effort after the Spanish-American War but quickly realized it was a spider’s web which would only ensnare them and rob the nation of her vitality. The United States then fought wars of liberation and until recently never attempted nation building or democratizing those nations they fought to liberate. These recent attempts at democratizing and nation building have inured the United States economically and challenged the fabric of the nation. The one item we must give credit to President Trump is his lack of desire to fight the world through military force and influence. It is unfortunate that he has continued the United States presence in Afghanistan and elsewhere other than support for the Kurdish people, as other than the Kurds the rest of the Middle East only wants the United States to bleed for them and then bag up their dead and go home. The United States does not need such friends, as these friends take far more than they will ever willingly provide. Israel need learn, or at least continue to recall this message, that most of those in her neighborhood are more than willing to sacrifice your forces for their power enhancement but will be on the other side when the wars come to your border. The United States is able to recover from such mistakes, over a decade or three, possibly a century, but recover she will and remain strong the entire time. Israel does not have that recuperative power, at least not on paper or spreadsheet. Israel does have that spirit which had saved the United States in periods passed, and Israel will keep that spirit into the future, as it has been a gift of the Jewish People to be leaders in innovations and experts at their own survival. The Jewish People may have survived because the Romans attempted to destroy them by spreading them throughout and beyond their empire placing them in every known nation of their time.

This dispersal, as history refers to this method of destroying a people, was a Roman practice for destroying persistent enemies. There are only two peoples for whom this was used by the Romans as far as historians have been able to tell. The better-known one was the dispersal of the Carthaginians, originally the Phoenicians, who were dispersed after the Romans salted the earth around Carthage and they faded into history, unless you have met a Carthaginian lately. The lesser known was the dispersal of the Judeans, by the Judans and eventually the Jews, and the one to survive despite this treatment. The reason these two peoples were chosen for such respect was the fact that they rose against the might of Rome on three occasion each, for the Carthaginians they were the Punic Wars which every naval and land officer in Western armed forces studies, and the Jews were of lesser degree but did succeed in throwing off Roman rule, even if only temporarily until they assembled the required legions, of the overwhelming numbers of legions the second time, twice. Still, the Romans preferred their conquered people to be nice, quiet people who acquiesced to Roman dominance with an almost appreciative submission. But the Jewish People survived because they held to something more important and more powerful than land, they held a core of principles which revolved their lives around Torah. The Jews had a sense of a specific purpose to be a light unto the nations and always held to the belief that Hashem would return them to their homelands and that there would come a Messiah always in the future. They had their belief in Hashem as the One Deity and that all idols were simply powerless gods. This kept them steadfast with the belief that any suffering was penance for past sins, past grievous sins, and that there was a future coming where they would return to their homelands and the lands would welcome them and bloom. The early Zionists might have questioned the immediacy of the land blooming, but thanks in great measure to their work on a water system, the land blooms and grows crops the world over sees as some of the most advanced in agricultural sciences. It took patience as there was one prophet who predicted the exact date, well year, that the return would come and it had to do with the number of years by which the first exile in Babylon was cut short because of our good behavior and promises to not again wander from the true path. Well, the Second Temple was destroyed which should tell you that the Jews strayed again. But there was the promise which gave a date, according to Ezekiel, who said the Jews were to be punished for 430 years because they had turned away from Hashem. This was to become the Babylonian exile. The Persians under Cyrus the Great defeated the Babylonians and freed their Jewish captives about 70 years after Judah lost independence to Babylon. This left 360 years which the Jews would require a second exile to fulfill, as one must pay Hashem when one strays. In Leviticus 26:18, Leviticus 26:21, Leviticus 26:24 and Leviticus 26:28 the Torah spells things out quite clearly, should the Jews not fully repent their sins they would be punished increased by a factor of seven. This meant their time in the Diaspora, or under foreign occupation, became 2,520 years on the original lunar Jewish calendar which translates to 2,484 years on the adapted lunar-solar calendar used today. Count from 536 BCE forward 2,484 years and you arrive at 1948. Additionally, there is Isaiah’s prophecy Chapter 66:8 which states: “Who has heard of a thing like this? Who has seen things like these? Will a land be brought forth with labor pains in one day? Or will a nation be born at one time? For Zion has come into labor pains as well as given birth to her sons.” Israel was basically set by vote of the United Nations as well as her own declaration to be born on a set date. These are among the miracles we have seen even to the modern era, and yet there are those who argue our legitimacy.

Iran goes one-step further and declares they will destroy Israel and the United States on their way to world conquest. Oh, that’s right, that is something that the developed world gave up on and does not believe that any nations believe in world conquest. That is how fast they forgot Hitler and for many their own histories and their ideas of world conquest. Well, those who believe in the Quran and the Hadiths are still seeking world conquest because their holy book demands such from them and they believe that Allah will give them the world as their oyster. The Torah and the Old Testament does not declare that Israel or the Jews should ever desire or expect to rule over anything beyond the lands which Hashem promised to Abraham. No world conquest exists in our books. We are to be a light unto the nations of the world which means that there have to be other nations for us to serve as an example of how to live. We are to be the ones making the world greater by example and gifts we provide through our research and developments. Israel has been providing remote African villages with agricultural knowhow and developments, water purification systems, cell towers and electricity from solar systems backed by rechargeable batteries in order to connect them with the outside word and improve their lives. Contrary to those who malign Israel, all we honestly desire is exactly what was promised to the Jewish People after World War I, our lands under the Mandate System which gave our borders to be the Jordan River on the east, the Mediterranean Sea on the west and our current borders with Egypt and Lebanon on the north and south with the Arabs repatriated with their original homelands. The vast majority of the Palestinian Arabs were also immigrants who came into Israel, either seeking economic advantages or were forced into Israel by the British, French and Arabs in efforts to prevent the Jews from ever reestablishing their homelands. The Holocaust had nothing to do with the establishment of Israel, as this was the intent of the San Remo Conference of 1920 and the following measures of the Mandate System established by the League of Nations and enforceable by the United Nations under Article 80 of their charter. That is what we desire and know will come to pass with time. That is the truth which has been completely disregarded and replaced with claims that Israel was founded on the Arab homelands of Palestine. There has never been any nation called Palestine and that is merely the Roman name for the greater region around Israel which includes Jordan. Iran also ignores this reality and claims, the same as the old anti-Semitic claims of history, that the Jews, Israel, are masters controlling the world and responsible for every war and misfortune which humankind suffers. They claim that they are saving the world in their quest to destroy Israel and following by conquering the world bringing it their version of Shiite Islam. Do not wonder, the Iranians are not the only ones who are out to conquer the world. Islam, as a religion, is based upon the conquest of the world and the conversion of every human to whatever form of Islam the conquering Muslims practice. Then there is the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who believes that he is to establish the second Ottoman Empire and from there conquer the rest of the world, something that the initial Ottoman Empire fell a little short, by four continents or more. These are the ones seeking to conquer the world; Israel just wants what was promised by the world after World War I. Iran will not conquer Israel and thus not the world. For those who are entertaining world conquest, please just leave us alone, thank you.
