Victory Caucus and Daniel Pipes Demands Hitting Deaf Ears

 

Speaking in concert with the Victory Caucus, Daniel Pipes, Philadelphia-based Middle East Forum President, stated speaking to the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, “After more than a century, the conflict is really over. As an American, I would like my government to say to the Israeli government, ‘Do what you need to do to convince the Palestinians they lost.’” Thank you for your great observation of the Israeli victory, Mr. Pipes, but telling Israel she has won the battle will not end the war. Even convincing the majority of Palestinian Arabs that they have lost and they need to face facts and make peace at long last will also not suffice. As a matter of fact, the main people you need to tell are not even residing in the Middle East but reside everywhere else plus there is the problem of those in the Middle East who will never give up the war because this is no ordinary war. The first group you need convince of your point are a lot closer to Philadelphia than they are to you here meeting in Jerusalem, they reside in Washington D.C., and that is the American government and in particular, the State Department. Then you need to convince the Europeans that they too have lost and no matter how much treasure and Euros they send the Palestinian Authority (PA), Fatah, PLO, Hamas, Islamic Jihad and whomever else they are supporting to rid them of Israel has also failed. Then there is Russia, George Soros and the Sunni and Shiite Muslims the world over. What you need understand, Mr. Pipes, this is not a normal war and there are people and an entire industry built around the destruction of Israel and as long as the cash continues to flow, they will continue to murder innocent Jews whose only crime against the world is residing in their ancient homeland, or at least the two-thirds of their ancient homeland they have been able to hold for themselves. That is the problem and the reason the war will not end quite yet, the world is not ready to surrender to the existence of a nation belonging to their favorite excuse for failure, the Jewish People.

 

The Europeans want Israel gone and their Jews back so they can routinely throw them out of one nation and then the next until the Jews have traveled in a circle right back to the place they started with their money and belongings stolen from them a dozen times as they were sent into exile time after time after time. That was the fate of the Jews in Europe. The Arab and Muslim world had a different means of doing the same thing, they allowed their Jews to remain in place and simply raised the Jizya (tax on non-Muslims paid so they do not murder you for your audacity to remain different) on the Jews to the point that they took all their cash and other items of worth and then relieved the tax allowing them to rebuild their reserves before repeating the exercise. Thus far, the United States has not used either method but the levels of anti-Semitism in the United States were only lessened about a little over a half-century ago and already are showing definitive signs of rising once again. Jews were free to be considered equals in the United States until the Civil War when both sides claimed the Jews aided their enemies and were this suspect to the point that General Grant gave General Order No. 11 on December 17, 1862 ordering the expulsion of all Jews in his military district, comprising areas of Tennessee, Mississippi, and Kentucky. The order was issued as part of a Union campaign against a black market in Southern cotton, which Grant thought was being run “mostly by Jews and other unprincipled traders. An outcry by members of Congress and the press, at President Abraham Lincoln’s insistence, Grant revoked the General Order on January 17, 1863. Still, the result was that thousands of Jews lost their lands, homes and all valuables and many were refused return by their former neighbors complaining that they were criminal undesirables. It seems that before the State of Israel was refounded after a near two-thousand year erasure, the safest and most fair treatment of Jews was in the Far East in Japan, China, India and the Philippines. Japan even protected their Jews from the Holocaust despite their alliance with Germany. The only European yeshiva to survive the war, the Mir Yeshiva, did so through Japanese assistance. So, despite the world’s considerable efforts to destroy the tiny State of Israel, Jews are still likely safest right here in Israel so perhaps we will remain in our ancient homeland as long as we are able and Hashem allows.

 

Israel is the 149th nation by size out of the 195 listed here yet is the first nation mentioned by most world leaders when the question of the greatest troublesome spot in the world. What makes this so ridiculous is the reason that Israel is considered to be the number one hot spot of turmoil on the globe is simply, her belligerents are receiving the most money from the world than any other place and yet Israel remains strong and free. Israel is the sole nation which the United Nations had an institution, UNRWA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East), dedicated to the support of and education for the continuation of the combined Arab effort through the PA, Fatah, PLO, Hamas, Islamic Jihad and other terror groups to destroy her and annihilate her people. Additionally, the Europeans have a plethora of dedicated NGO’s which they register as Israeli though are funded primarily through the European Union and the individual European nations which operate to spread any forms of information designed to disparage and destroy the nation of Israel.

 

Further, the PA states in their charter not that they seek a state of Palestine but that they will use that demand in order to destroy Israel even if it must be done in stages. And the PA is not the worst as Hamas has in their charter not only the destruction of Israel but also the annihilation of the Jewish People worldwide. Such an economic structure, which dwarfs every other financial effort of the world except for the Defense spending by the United States and possibly Russia and China, cannot be claimed to have failed as long as the cash flows and there are individuals and groups making millions skimming funds right off the top. Hamas just had some leaders retire as they had amassed over one-billion dollars each and no longer wished to risk being targeted by the Israelis so they took their ill-gotten gains and faded into the sunset. They were replaced by younger and hungrier men who will now begin to amass their fortune only to reach a point where they retire and the next set of leaders will gorge themselves on the cash flow of hundreds of billions if not trillions or even tens of trillions per year of which they can easily steal ten percent. Further, these groups all have education systems, which train their youth to be terrorists and murder Israelis except they more often than not state Jews instead of Israelis because the argument is not with the Christians, Muslims, Baha’I and other religions, their desire is to murder Jews.

 

Mr. Pipes, the objective to end this insanity is to first end the desire throughout much of the world for the eradication of the Jewish people. To do this one will also have to rid the world of a movement which has existed since the dawn of history to return to the hedonistic ways of barbarism where the rules of the jungle and survival of the fittest reigns supreme and no longer is man condemned by his conscience as Judeo-Christian ethics will have been abandoned. This was part of what Hitler offered and was taken up on with great glee as he mesmerized a people with the concept of the end of Christianity and the death of the Jewish invention of the conscience (see video below). The reason for the destruction of the Jewish People is simply, if the Jews are destroyed, then Christianity also becomes vulnerable. The immediate reaction of people to this claim is to believe that the loss of the Jewish People would actually make Christianity stronger, but that is not true, as if the Jewish People are destroyed, especially now that Israel has been established once again, that would invalidate the promises of Hashem. Once you have proven that Hashem made false promises, you have destroyed the existence of Hashem. Without Hashem, there can be no Christianity as their faith still rests with the same Hashem, the same G0d as the Jews worship. The end of the Jewish People also destroys Christianity as the G0d of Abraham, Isaak and Yaakov is also to Whom Christian worship is intended. The main winner is Islam as the religion born of Avram, Ishmael and Muhammad as Ishmael was born to Avram and Sari’s handmaiden, Hagar, before their names were changed by Hashem to Avraham and Sarah when they entered into His covenant to form a peoples from their lineage of Isaak who also received this covenant through his son Yaakov, while Esau also received a kingdom. This shows how Allah and Hashem are not the same, they are different and thus Islam is not an Abrahamic religion but rather an Avramic religion from Avram who was still to receive the covenant with Hashem at some later point.

 

 

So, this war is not over Mr. Pipes because the forces, which desire the end of Hashem, have not yet surrendered and are unlikely to ever surrender until the coming of the Messiah. The main providers of the cash flow are the Europeans in every form imaginable, the United States in their aid to those nations and entities, which are allied to destroy Israel, and the United Nations, which has turned from a power for peace, and the benefit of humankind into an organization hijacked to bludgeon Israel into a bloodied corpse. This has been proven for years by the United Nations Human Rights Council and their Agenda Item 7 that mandates the UNHRC debate Israeli human rights abuses against the Palestinians during each of its sessions. This debate is a denunciation of Israel that has the position of automatic guilt by Israel simply for not committing suicide and surrendering totally before the wishes of the Arab world as channeled through the PA and Hamas mostly. This is simply the demand to denounce Israel as a matter of natural action without need for debate or proof of wrongdoing, Israel is guilty because Israel exists. Then we have UNESCO that is deciding that Israel has no claims to anything related to Israelite or Jewish history and is erasing Israel one edict at a time. Thusfar the UNESCO declarations have decided that there is only Islamic historical connections and absolutely, according to UNESCO, no Jewish or Israeli connection to the Temple Mount, the Western Wall and the Tomb of the (Israelite) Patriarchs. These are in addition to the General Assembly and almost two-hundred nations all recognizing the Arab State of Palestine which by law would, like Saudi Arabia, be Judenrein and which has no defined borders, does not meet the minimal standards under international law for being a nation, and has as its only ambition the destruction of another member nation of the United Nations and violates the United Nations Carter Article 80.

 

While Israeli Arabs of all faiths have universal rights identical to those of Israeli Jews and serve in the Knesset and are judges including having served on the Israeli Supreme Court including current permanent Justice Salim Joubran, Jews in the Arab and Muslim controlled world face a different prospect. At this other end of this spectrum, the following sixteen nations refuse entry to those with Israeli passports and may also refuse entry to those with an Israel stamp on their passport are Syria, Iran, Iraq, Yemen, Libya , Algeria, Bangladesh, Brunei, Kuwait, Lebanon, Malaysia, Oman, Pakistan, Sudan, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates. Lastly, many Arab nations in order to avoid disclosure of their having driven the Jews almost completely from within their borders will list that Jews make up 0.1% of their population thus allowing the claim that the Jews were not forced, harassed into, or otherwise expelled into leaving their homes and often most of their belongings and all financial equities and assets behind but simply decided to move to France, the United States or Israel, the three largest destinations of the Jewish populations throughout the MENA area (Middle East and North Africa) which is also the range where the majority of the Arab and Muslim influences reside. These deportations by whatever means were carried out largely between 1950 and 1960 by which time the few remaining Jews were most often quite old and often cared for and resided in one of the Synagogues remaining in these nations, many of which are quite old dating back to before the arrival of Islam in some cases. Many of these Synagogues have since been repurposed as museums or transformed into Mosques or simply torn down to make room for new buildings.

That is the reality that nobody cares to ever discuss when talking about the Israeli population, that half of the Israeli people are descendants from Arab countries and not Europeans. The sad thing is if you were to ask the average European or American, actually almost any Westerner, where the Jews of Israel originated, their answer would be Europe. This is why you hear calls for the Jews to return to Germany, Poland and the United States, as did American Arab White House reporter Helen Thomas (see video below), not realizing that half the population came from Arab nations who would never accept them in a return and a goodly number families have lived in Israel, many in Jerusalem, for as far back as they can remember or have records. Another canard is that Israel is a racist society of white people. In November of 1984, the decision was made to go forward with Operation Moses and beginning November 21, 1984, Israel involved the Trans European Airways to transport some 8,000 Ethiopian Jews from Sudan via Brussels to Israel, the efforts ending January 5, 1985. Then there was Operation Solomon, the covert Israeli military operation to airlift Ethiopian Jews to Israel from May 24 to May 25, 1991 using non-stop flights of 35 Israeli aircraft, including Israeli Air Force C-130s and El Al Boeing 747s that transported 14,325 Ethiopian Jews to Israel in 36 hours. This puts an end to accusations of an all white Israel as when you include the Arabian Jews and the Jews from India that include the Bene Israel, the Cochin Jews, the Baghdadis from Iraq and Syria, and finally the Bnei Menashe, then you have added an entire range of racial peoples which easily balances out the whole population and negates the accusation.

 

 

So, Mr. Pipes, though Israel may have militarily won the conflict, as long as Mahmoud Abbas along with Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Hezballah, Bashir al-Assad, Islamic State, Iran and other Islamic supremacists are receiving funding or have their own funding and desire the destruction of Israel or the Jewish People there will be no surrender by the leadership of these groups and nations. The PA will continue to fund terrorists and pay their families if they are killed while murdering or attempting to murder Israelis, whether the target is Jews, Christian, Muslims or any Israeli or person within Israel and thus Israel is responsible for their safety, and pay the terrorists in the prisons serving sentences for the murder of Israelis, then this war of attrition will not end. Currently the PA and Hamas, in conjunction with UNRWA, run schools that train the children to be terrorists and make martyrdom appear to be wonderful and a means of providing for one’s family. There are claims the majority of the PA economy is based on the payments made to terrorists and their families. The murder of Israelis is the major industry making a profit in the PA and you are telling us that we won is ridiculous. The terror continues and the children ever younger are coming into Israel by any means necessary and then attempting to kill the first people with whom they come into contact. If they can drive, they ram their vehicle into crowds at bus stops or waiting to cross a street, which is why Israel had placed barriers to prevent such attacks. Others just take as large as a knife they can find in the kitchen and head off to stab Israelis indiscriminately. No, Mr. Pipes, this war is not complete and the PA leadership does not care if they have lost, there are still Israelis to murder and money to be skimmed off or otherwise distributed to keep everything continuing, especially the murdering of Israelis. We are afraid that in the end there will be only one sign that the war is over, when the Palestinian people rise up and remove the lunatics who currently are leading them to ruin. They take every possible step to make earning a living next to impossible unless you are connected with the government. The government only pays people who are related to the leaders or have or are killing Israelis. That is their economy in a nutshell. So, you can tell President Trump to instruct Israel to do what is necessary to convince Mahmoud Abbas that he has lost, but be prepared for some serious violence as he will not go quietly and will allow as many of his people to be killed before he leaves, and then he will take a tour around the world claiming the Israelis butchered innocent people and once again Israel will be in the world’s crosshairs. The world loves to hate Israel and as long as they do, Abbas remains in business. Can you convince the Europeans, United Nations, United States (especially the State Department) and the Muslim world that the war is over, the PA lost and they can stop sending this carcass any further money as doing so just prolongs the death spiral? We really wish you luck, but our experience is their hate overwhelms their common sense and decency, but you are free to try. Iran Working to Purchase New Front on Israel

 

Iran will be using some amount of their coming new found wealth which with its sales of oil and weapons will be a renewable funding starting with the billions it will receive right up front after the deal passes the Congress either outright or through inability to override Presidential veto. There have been credible reports that Hezballah has been once again actively seeking to convert members of the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades into cells which Iran can control to perform shooting attacks and eventually planting IEDs (Improvised Explosive Devices) which Iran will provide either through teaching these cells the methods for building their own or by providing the knowledge along with the necessary parts and leave the rest to the best trained to do the logistical planning. This recruitment drive, for lack of a better term, is being led by an operative of Hezballah known to Israeli intelligence named Qais Obeid, an Israeli-Arab and grandson of former Knesset member Diyab Obeid. These recruitment efforts by Hezballah has been an ongoing threat which of late has been more vigorous thus making it a potential new and more active terrorist front which will require additional intelligence gathering and interventions. In the past these efforts may have had some begrudging assistance from Fatah and Palestinian Authority as allowing Hezballah to become overly influential in Judea and Samaria would erode Palestinian Authority and Mahmoud Abbas’s authority. Meanwhile, this is an inroad which Iran has already set in motion to increase their threat potential against Israel and in their mind another way to place additional pressures against Israel and thus make any attack on their nuclear facilities less likely. Increasing the near threat thus making the more distant threat appear less of a pressing issue may be behind these Iranian efforts.

 

Mahmoud Abbas may be another problem that requires steps to be addressed. Abbas is preparing to make a visit to Tehran, Iran. This visit will definitely have a discussion of recruiting Fatah and potentially buying the entirety of the Palestinian Authority outright. This may be part of the reason that Abbas has distanced and may further distance himself from the being the head of certain elements within the Palestinian Authority structures, as convoluted as that structure may appear. This may be in preparation to allow Iran to have its influence over certain political and terrorist entities while allowing for the majority of the Palestinian Authority, including the authority itself, to come outside obvious Iranian control and thus remain easily supportable by their European and other Western backing and funding while turning over critical terror networks to Iranian influence or even outright control. Iran is almost desperate to open a reliable front against Israel other than Hezballah which already had too much on its plate with Syria, Iraq and even reports of some Hezballah assisting the Houthis in Yemen and now a new front with Islamic State appearing to organize and gain influence of Sunnis in Lebanon who have reached the point of desperation and a represent low hanging fruit just waiting for some supporting influence to provide them with the leadership assistance and weaponization to present a new threat to Hezballah and gain their own front against Israel.

 

This partially represents the new threats approaching from the distant horizons to place themselves right on Israel’s front porch, so to speak. On one side there are the traditional Sunni influences such as Saudi Arabia and the ‘nice’ Palestinians which wear ties and speak peace in English while unsheathing daggers and potentially IEDs when dressed in more traditional garb with their keffiyeh shaped in the form of Israel, a tradition popularized by the late Yasser Arafat which he claimed showed his intention to replace Israel, not share any of the lands as he refused to recognize any Jewish presence as long as he was able to defy the Israeli presence as the State of the Jews. There is likely to be additional pressures felt from both Gaza and Judea and Samaria as the bidding wars increase. We have outlined the potential threats coming from Iran in Judea and Samaria and the on again and currently off again relationship between Iran and Hamas can become active at any time and present an active terror front against Israel. There are likely other influences in Gaza with potential for Iranian meddling such as Islamic Jihad or simply any terror cells who desire greater prominence which a fresh influx of money and arms, especially rocket parts, with which to attack Israel would present an additional threat. Where some would point to such a threat being of minimal importance to which the reply that comes to mind is to inquire at what number of rockets striking Israeli cities and potentially only prevented through interception at the minimal price of near twenty-thousand-dollars per interceptor fired. With rockets being priced to manufacture between fifty dollars to as much as at the most a thousand dollars, how many of the midrange priced rockets at say two-hundred-dollars or less does an Iranian backed group need to fire before they become more than a menace, and this does not count those that strike and murder Israeli families, at what point are rockets over the border sufficient to trigger a greater response? How many rockets fired at your neighborhood would be considered a minor menace, an inconvenience, something that you would be capable of simply living with the minor inconvenience of hearing a siren in the middle of the night or while your children are walking to or from school, a favorite time for rocket launches into Israel by Hamas and Islamic Jihad, how many would you accept. Well, that should be the same answer for Israeli communities as Jewish and Israeli lives matter! All lives matter providing they are also living by that credo.

 

Live and let live is a nice theory to live by despite the murderous intentions of your neighbors, but after three-thousand-years of neighbors intent on murdering every single Israeli and Jew which included conquest at any price, we have seen it throughout time and will not go quietly, that can be a promise we will keep. We have had our survival instincts molded and hardened by the Egyptian Pharaohs, the Hittites, the Babylonians, the Assyrians, the Persians, the Greeks, the Romans, the Byzantines, the Islamic invasions, the Crusaders, the near constant wars where the Jews were a primary target by both sides between of Islam against the Crusaders. These were followed by the various European and Islamic states throughout the Dark and Middle Ages, expulsions from Russian pogrom, Spanish Inquisition, Purification of France, the Religious Purges by both Catholic and Protestant Monarchs, the Protestant Reformation in the German City-States, Pogroms throughout all of Europe; the Jizyah of the Arab, Muslim and Ottoman City-States and Empires. Then was a defining slaughter known as the Shoah by the Nazis, and then pogroms and disenfranchising by the various Muslims States after the formation of Israel. Coming into the present we are targeted by Iran, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, the PLO, Fatah, and the too numerous to name other assaults with the intent on conquest, wholesale conversions, eradication of Judaism and other threats be they from ancient history or about to spring at our throats tomorrow. Enough is enough and Never Again will Jews take such threats without a fight as we have no weapon against the most insidious of all threats, assimilation and the loss of Jewish identity which accompanies such. I realize that was a long sentence but we Jews have a very long history and very little of the time were we left in peace. The present is not proving to be much of an improvement. Name me one nation which has been historically and is presently under direct threat of being eradicated once again. Another exile may very well turn Judaism into a small cultish religion practiced by small pockets of religious Jews who will all still remain under threats for their annihilation through many different means and only surviving by the will of Hashem. We will not go into that dark night without a fight, a great effort to do whatever it takes to remain in the light of assurance through strength of our own lands, of Israel.

 

The power struggle in our, what almost needs to be defined as internal threats, is that of those Arabs which desire the destruction of Israel. They exist in the obvious camps in Gaza including Hamas and Islamic Jihad as well as smaller groups sworn allegiance to al-Qaeda, Islamic State, al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades and assuredly more; in Judea and Samaria including PLO, Fatah, al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, al-Qaeda, Islamic State, Hezballah and other smaller groups some only comprised of a single or couple of cells; the threats from across the border from the numerous forces in Syria from Bashir al-Assad to al-Qaeda groups, Islamic State (they have become a larger than normal terrorist run state centrally located to keep their fingers in a large number of pies), Muslim Brotherhood, Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC and an actual number of troops which are an elite corps from within the Iranian religious and fanatical organized army which is as large and well-funded as their regular army), Hezballah in Lebanon and Syria, Islamic State and Muslim Brotherhood within the Sinai Peninsula, and cells which hold Israeli identification cards and many of which who vote and run candidates for seats in the Israeli Parliament, the Knesset. Needless to say, Israel is kept busy and that is before the overt external threats being fomented on our borders with their monies or fanaticisms such as Islamic State (in addition to the terror threat they pose), and Iran with their now fully blessed and open for business arms programs and their under the radar parallel nuclear research and arms production sites which very likely include nuclear warhead development and production along with the rockets to place them upon. We can assume that after Mahmoud Abbas completes his precedent setting Tehran visit which will very likely include the agreement, signed or simply a non-gentleman’s agreement made with a deferential bow and handshake to give over to Iran control over part or an entire substructure of the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades or other groups controlled by Abbas himself or by other terror masters within the political tangled web conceived in deceit with its main purpose being deception and allowing for setting up a high degree of believable deniable plausibility for any and every person in a leadership position. The entire apparatus which makes up the Palestinian Authority even currently includes Hamas and Islamic Jihad while working against them in the favor of PLO, al-Aqsa Martyrs and other cells utilized for attacks which must never be traced back to any political entity thus these groups’ names are kept secret until it is required to permit the leadership of the various disparate terror entities and political entities, forever are they attached through finances, all a jumbled mass of confusion. With Abbas having resigned as the head of the PLO planning board or some such title from amongst his numerous leadership positions granting it for the interim to Saab Erekat, actually Saab Erekat has replaced Mahmoud Abbas as Chair of the Secretary-General of PLO placing him in direct line to assume leadership of the entirety of the Palestinian Authority once Mahmoud Abbas steps down and retires from the scene.

 

Months after stepping down from all, or nearly all, of the leadership positions currently held by Abbas, he will then return becoming something even Yasser Arafat never achieved, becoming the Elder Statesman for the Palestinian Authority and in such position he will make himself available to speak to any ruling body the world over including even more frequent trips to the White House and potentially demanding and receiving the coveted position of addressing a joint session of the United States Congress within a week of two of any address so given by any Israeli official, especially any Prime Minister and particularly the current Prime Minister, Benyamin Netanyahu. We would be expecting to see Mahmoud Abbas giving bi-monthly addresses to the General Assembly of the United Nations, the United Nations Human Rights Council (HRC), and any other international organization especially those tasked with determining War Crimes and Crimes Against Humanity all as part of a carefully planned and scripted series of addresses culminating each year with his address at the opening ceremonies of the United Nations General Assembly where he will open the idea for a new provision to be enacted by that body denouncing Israeli existence and fortifying the Palestinian position of claiming all the lands and having domain over all of the land as the Arab struggle has been and always will be the eradication of Israel and a wiping of the Jews from the Middle East and then the rest of the world. This has been the root of the vicious and vengeful hatreds which only allow for the complete destruction of Israel and the figuratively making Jerusalem the Capital City of the coming Caliphate instead of the Capital and Holiest of Cities to the Jewish People.

 

Within Israel there has been a political development which warrants some discussions. The recent dust-up caused by the release of a taped interview with Ehud Barak which cast aspersions on a number of political rivals which might likely stand between him and another run at being Prime Minister and the only person to defeat Bibi Netanyahu twice for Prime Minister. While Ehud Barak mostly stated that the reasons behind Israeli strikes on Iranian nuclear sites were not carried out in the entirety of his time as Minister of Defense were attributable largely to Lt. Gen. Gabi Ashkenazi, the then-chief of staff of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), who claimed the Israeli military he commanded had not trained sufficiently nor was it in any condition to face all of the potential consequences which might befall Israel after such an attack, and also placed a degree of blame on current Defense Minister and then Strategic Affairs Minister Moshe Ya’alon as well as current Minister of National Infrastructure, Energy and Water Resources and then member of the Inner Cabinet of Eight Yuval Steinitz as well as members of the Inner Cabinet Dan Meridor and Bennie Begin making it impossible to gain a five vote majority necessary to take it to the next level. Ehud Barak talked about Netanyahu’s weakness mostly due to not being capable of pressing through his plans for an attack on the known Iranian facilities and potentially other targets related to governance or military command and control.

Lt. Gen. Gabi Ashkenazi claimed the IDF not trained sufficiently, Defense Minister and then Strategic Affairs Minister Moshe Ya’alon, and Inner Cabinet of Eight Yuval Steinitz were all named by Ehud Barak as running negative interference preventing attacks on Iranian Nuclear Sites across a three year span from 2010 to 2013.

 

 

These events, including secondary releases from the taped interview being released, have raised suspicions that Ehud Barak believes and has started acting on another run for the golden ring, the Office of Prime Minister. First item on that path is to retake the leadership of the Labor Party, something he is expected to be opposed by Isaac Herzog, Shelly Yachimovich and potentially former Commander of the IDF and retired Lt. Gen. Gabi Ashkenazi who is the most feared challenge facing a Ehud Barak triumphant return to politics. Should Ehud Barak actually try to make a comeback we can bet that he will use the inaction against Iran and his hawkish views and decisiveness which he will claim was a certainty in his mind despite what those around him felt. There will be little mention on Judea and Samaria plans which, if memory serves me correctly, Barak is in agreement with Isaac Herzog and Tzipi Livni that Israel would be best served by the formation of an Arab state in virtually all of the lands of Judea and Samaria as well as Eastern Jerusalem claiming that such would end the terrorist threats from that area allowing Israel to concentrate all of her resources both military and political to prevent Iran from ever developing and producing nuclear weapons. Ehud Barak’s hopes that surrendering the ancient lands which hold most of the Israeli holiest locations starting with the Temple Mount and the Old City of Jerusalem, Hevron, the Cave of Machpelah, the Tomb of Joseph, the Tomb of Rachel, near countless Synagogues, Shechem, the City of David and many others as this is just to name a few. Further, relenting control and giving such to the Arab dominion will lead to the desecration of everything Jewish which means that Israelis will be required to sneak into these places under the cover of darkness and repair and restore the tombs and other places. With some being almost totally destroyed or restructured such as placing minarets at the four corners of a Synagogue and repurposing it as a Mosque, permanently destroying any Jewish character that building may have held making it Jewish, these building could only be reclaimed by taking a meaningful act of terror traceable to within Judea and Samaria and just annex them once they have been liberated from Islamic occupation.

 

 

Isaac Herzog, Shelly Yachimovich and former Commander of the IDF retired Lt. Gen. Gabi Ashkenazi are the expected Labor Candidates Barak would need to defeat if he is to run against Netanyahu in any upcoming elections.

 

 

Such is not a new action taken by Muslims as they performed such an abomination on the Hagia Sophia Cathedral and it was transformed into the Hagia Sophia Mosque. That would be the fate of many of the Christian and Jewish holy sites and giving them the land will not bring a moment of peace but would embolden them to press even harder as terrorism got them the lands thus far, maybe the rest is almost in sight. That would be their interpretation of Israel gifting them all of Judea and Samaria that they claim as their lands as they do to the rest of Israel. Such a move would also embolden Iran as they would also view such a surrender of lands rightfully Israeli would simply reinforce that the Jewish People had no stomach for a prolonged fight thus simply by opposing them long enough and they would become weak-willed and gift to its adversaries the surrender they demand, to an Islamist such is but an invitation.

It will; however, leave far less room for youth to play soccer which many might claim is a good thing.

 

 

Even when confronted with the testimony of historic facts many refuse to see the obvious. Such would be far less of a tragedy if only they would not bring our downfall alongside those who surrender that which is rightfully Israeli by every legal code and international law known to mankind. They are flaunting these international laws and agreements simply because the Israeli governance is permitting their perfidy through its cowardice and concerns for what the world thinks. We can tell you what the world thinks, they believe the Jews will cut their own throats if given a sharp enough knife rather than to turn that knife upon their adversaries. That is what they believe and all too many Israelis, especially in high office in the government, military and security services, prove their assessment right day in and day out. This foolish idea that the dragon can be dealt with if we just make this one additional sacrifice, there will always be one more sacrifice demanded of us until we are all dead and buried. When do the Jewish People make their stand, tell me when, please make it soon.

Iraq War Front Not About What the Media Claims

The world need not look outside Iraq for proof about the real reason the Iraqi government fight ISIS where they do and further explain the oft ignored results after areas are presumably liberated. The reports have often been suppressed after the Iraq forces, which include Shiite Militias fighting along-side regular Iraqi forces and Iranian fighters mostly from the IRGC (Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps) aiding their strength to some of these more Shiite units. These reports often fail to mention the aftermath of liberating Sunni villages and the ensuing violence which is purported to have resulted in a hunt for the Sunni who may have survived whatever purity test was applied by the ISIS forces after they had assaulted the area. This places the mostly Sunni men’s lives at risk of being targeted and thus forfeited as much if the Militias are simply Shiite fanatics. One can look at the Shiite Militias as being the anti-ISIS forces out to purify these villages by the slaughter of the Sunni forces sympathetic to the ISIS occupation. As far as many in the Shiite Militias are concerned, if one survived the ISIS forces and their purging of those not pure enough from their Sunni perspective, then they are definitely not to be good Muslims by the Shiite forces making up both the Shiite Militias and the IRGC, many of whom are just as fanatical Shiites, have laid waste many of the villages which managed to survive the Sunni purification purges.

Much of the southern areas reclaimed from ISIS have been subjected to purity tests checking their loyalty qualified under Shiite scrutiny. Quite often these villages were found to be impure and in too many instances they were razed to the ground. One can only imagine the horror many of these villages have faced being subjected to a test by fanatical Sunnis from ISIS and when liberated from that predicament being subjected to another test, this time by Shiite fanatics. One can only assume that these villages were left without any men between the ages of thirteen to around forty-five. I realize that when in a fight for your life one will resort often times going to extreme ends to assure that the areas you have cleared are absolutely free of anyone who remotely held a thought of your opposing force. The real difficulty has been surviving first the inquisition as imagined by the Sunni fanatics of ISIS and then within a few weeks having to face another inquisition, this time by Shiite fanatics of the forces presumably aiding the government of Iraq. Obviously this series of back-to-back subjection to opposing inquisitions, very few if any villages remained intact. The one fortunate result is that the Iraq/Iran forces have yet to attempt to destroy everything they judge to be un-Islamic, such as museum exhibits, as had ISIS forces once they had secured an area; though that is little comfort to many of the people living on the or beyond the cusp of the fighting.

Meanwhile, on the front it is the less reported things which are drastically different as all of the forces fighting to hold back or even force retreat from the ISIS, or simply attempting to just hold the line consist of a disparate group of loosely aligned players. When these mostly militia forces finally wrest a village back from ISIS control, there is no purity test applied and the villagers are often assisted in rebuilding their defenses and even improving them so as to have them provide better ability to resist any further assaults regardless of what they might believe. These forces liberating and often rescuing these people from living under ISIS rule are the Kurdish Peshmerga. The Kurds are a wonderful people as they are often misrepresented in the mainstream media. The main theme in Kurdish life is one that many Israelis might recognize, namely that as long as you live peaceably with them, they will have no problem being kindly neighbors with you. The unfortunate truth is that for most of Kurdish people their neighbors have been less than expected in the live-and-let-live department. This was true in Saddam Hussein and Iraq; Erdogan and Turkey; Bashir al-Assad and Syria and finally the Ayatollahs and Iran where all have suppressed, persecuted and even exposed to attempts at genocide using chemical weapons of mass destruction. This use of chemical weapons against the Kurdish villages by Saddam Hussein was part of the reasons for going into Iraq and ending Saddam’s reign of terror against them. This has unfortunately been the case for much of the Kurdish existence.

When the United States coalition forces reached the Kurdish regions in the northern areas of Iraq they were greeted as the liberators they were. The Kurdish people were simply glad and had no problem showing their excitement. Since their liberation from the oppressive rule by Saddam Hussein the Kurds set up their own semiautonomous region which has ruled itself, policed itself, and defended itself. They have accomplished this with little assistance from the outside world. The Kurds initially held back ISIS but had to retreat for a short while but have returned and pushed ISIS out of their areas. They also assisted the Kurdish forces under threat by ISIS in Syria. Even then did they rely predominantly on their own people to do the heavy work and eventually requested that the allied forces target certain areas of Kobanê in order to unseat ISIS forces heavily entrenched positions. This led directly to the gains which have recently liberated Kobanê and the immediate locations. The Kurdish fighters in Syria have requested aid as they have begun to strenuously work to flush out the remaining ISIS forces and found themselves running short on ammunition. The Kurdish front is the most civil and humane of the fronts in Iraq.

The lack of humane treatment of the villagers in the rest of Iraqi warfront has reached a level where some military are questioning the West’s support being provided. Far too many fighters on the Iraqi side are just as ruthless upon taking a town as were their adversaries in ISIS. The Iraqi inquisitors behave when in the presence of American or other Western advisors but these advisors cannot be in all places simultaneously. This has left room for some atrocities to be committed by the presumed allies of the Western forces. This violence has solely been restricted to the Sunni villages which when liberated by Shiite militias are subjected to yet more inhumane treatments and many get to be interviewed in inquisition-like questioning of their purity of faith. As those remaining in these villages have already passed the ISIS inquisitors, they have already received one big black mark on their inquisitor’s sheet as they now test for allegiance to their form of Islam. The conflict has born sufficient evidence of the hatred built around the Sunni-Shiite split in Islam. There is a divide which many people have had to carefully straddle the line between the two being capable of having a Sunni appearance in the morning and having a Shiite appearance that afternoon while surviving the firefight in between. It is also this divide and the highly tense feelings engendered by it that lies at the base of the current violence across much of the Muslim world. And wherever one looks around the Muslim world the differences are almost universally recognizable. There is either the Sunni-Shiite divide or a racial divide of Arab against non-Arab. There is nothing like a Western national feeling in most of the Arab world where people despite racial or financial differences live together sharing those things which makes them better and is most beneficial while retaining some traditions within the home.

Much of the Arab ruled world has this as a prevalent problem as if peoples with different tribal backgrounds were broken into smaller groups and merged with neighbors who were more likely to be enemies were instead forced into a single nation. If such a plan had been implemented then the only governing style that could function at all as a nation was under the oppressive thumb of a strong dictatorial leader who would choose a single or at most dual tribal strength and keep the other tribes suppressed. This style of leadership could lead to the occasional change of leadership through a coup which would bring a similar ruler into office who would change the tribes favored and tribes suppressed. Still this led to a similar situation where the leadership had to invest too much effort in preventing his nation from fragmenting that there was little hope for development. Even had such a plan hoped that in time there could be multiethnic democracies rising from these states, such hopes were soon left unrealized as strong ruler after strong ruler eventually led to the Arab Winter which is still spinning its disastrous results in Syria and Libya where the tribal areas are fighting each other as well as throwing out the old dictator which has been accomplished in Libya without improving anything and still to be completed in Syria with likely similar results. The eventual result of this turmoil is quite probably intending to leave a few strong states to fight it out as to whim will be crowned leader of the Muslim world as well as over the Arab subculture. Currently we are down to a few potential winners in this winner take all scenario and they are Egypt under President and former General Sisi, Saudi Arabia and its Royal Family, Turkey under Erdogan even if he has to invent a new office for him to rule through (oh, wait, didn’t he basically just do that?), and finally the Obama chosen ones, Iran under its Ayatollahs, Assembly of Experts, President and parliament all of which must genuflect in the direction of the Supreme Leader. Those are the players and their task is to unravel the Gordian Knott of Sykes-Picot and reestablish the Caliphate. What the role of the Western world is in all of this is unestablished as there is no true leadership in the Western world other than an apparent mere occupant in the White House, one that has silently empowered Iran and will soon stand with them when they announce their nuclear capability and claim the world as their pearl in the oyster. Where the world goes once Iran has rule over the new Caliphate, marching across Europe nearly unopposed until they reach the channel, is anybody’s guess. Then will the British rue the day they connected to the mainland through a tunnel and hurriedly rush to close it by any means necessary, flooding it included. The world could likely change dramatically over the next two decades. Let’s just hope to recognize it after these changes take effect. The coming problems will dwarf those of today, and that is far from comforting.
