They Are Coming to Bargain Away Israel Again

 

Coming in late February will be White House Senior Adviser and son-in-law Jared Kushner and President Trump’s Middle East envoy, Jason Greenblatt, on a one week tour hitting the best of the spots the Arabs offer. They will be visiting Oman, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar. They will be on a mission, but not one from the Most High. Their efforts are to sell the “Deal of a Century” while only revealing many of its financial rewards which will be available to those willing to assist reaching the deal for Trump. As is almost always the case, rumors have been flying. Some even extend to the Middle East conference being held next week in Warsaw where the men are expected to hold meetings with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu. Israel’s Channel 13 News reported leaks claiming that Jared Kushner will be expected to share an update about the “Deal of a Century” during the Warsaw Conference. The White House claims that Kushner will be participating in a discussion hosted by former Norwegian foreign minister Borge Brende on efforts to end the Israeli-Palestinian Arab conflict. Does anybody remember the Norwegians? They were the go-betweens acting largely for the United States State Department and the rest of the let’s sell Israel down the river entities who worked with Israelis Simon Peres, Yossi Beilin, Yair Hirschfeld, Ron Pundak, Uri Savir and other leftists willing to go to any lengths for self-gratification, fame, and a shot at a Nobel Peace Prize all at the expense of their nation and her people. The Norwegians were the go-betweens who assisted in greasing the skids that produced the Oslo Accords and almost every mounting disaster since. While on the subject of leaks, another Channel 13 report back in January claimed that the “Deal of the Century” would include the establishment of a Palestinian state in about ninety percent of Judea and Samaria, with at least part of eastern Jerusalem as its capital. Jason Greenblatt rejected the report claiming it to be inaccurate. Either way, this coming “Deal of the Century” sounds an awful lot like the Ehud offers, what Ehud Barak and after him Ehud Olmert offered to Yasser Arafat and then Mahmoud Abbas the first under President Bill Clinton and the second under President George W. Bush, both rejected out of hand by the Palestinians. Whatever the “Deal of the Century” may hold, Mahmoud Abbas has already dismissed it as unacceptable sight unseen.

 

Of course, looking at their itinerary and seeing the absence of a stop to visit with Mahmoud Abbas or other Palestinian Authority official, one can only reason that the trip is a fishing expedition seeking anybody willing to replace the Palestinian Authority and accept the “Deal of the Century” in their stead. Perhaps we should save these busy Trump representatives by alerting them to the Khartoum Resolution issued September 1, 1967, as a reaction to the Six Day War where the crux of the agreement could be summed up with the “Three No’s”: “no peace with Israel, no recognition of Israel, no negotiations with Israel.” That is succinct and as straight forward as any rejection can be. There is also rumored to be an economic stimulus and large aid package included to assist Gaza in overcoming their economic woes. That would be a completely wasted effort and would only serve to empower Hamas and Islamic Jihad with the people of Gaza who need such aid never seeing a single red cent. Everything will result just as the numerous aid packages designed to assist in rebuilding the apartments and other structures which remain as mostly rubble since the first Gaza war with Hamas. The more rubble Hamas forces to remain, the more photo opportunities there are to blame Israel for the destruction. Repeatedly Israel has been threatened, cajoled and otherwise twisted until allowing building provisions to enter Gaza only to have them time after time become bunkers, command centers and infiltration tunnels reaching under the border as much as two or even three and more kilometers into Israel. Any aid to Gaza will build more and deeper tunnels as well as rockets and launchers while allowing for extending the tunnel network which crisscrosses Gaza already. But rebuilding Gaza is a Western dream and an Israeli nightmare. Actual rebuilding of Gaza will never occur until the terrorists who govern the region have been defeated. Even then, the probability is that the people of Gaza will simply form a new terror group which will immediately be elected and they will do the only thing they have been educated to perform, attempting to murder Israelis, or as they refer to Israelis, Jews.

 

Perhaps we should clarify the Arab League’s official position on peace with Israel. There is no such position unless Israel agrees to be placed under Arab rule with Islamic Sharia as the only law. This is actually the mildest position one will find officially across the Arab and extending into much of the Muslim worlds. The Palestinians are even less caring as their idea of an acceptable peace is every Israeli Jews they can catch being murdered in as slow and torturous a means as humanly possible. We had an example of what happens when a group of everyday Palestinians, the ones who actually make up the majority, do when they find a couple of Jews. The case we are referring to came about when two reservists made a wrong turn and as a result ended up in the Palestinian Authority areas. The Palestinian police initially arrested them and placed them in a cell for their own protection. A crowd rioted outside the jail demanding to be permitted to slaughter the Jews. The police abandoned their station leaving the reservists locked in the cell and left the keys on the desk. The result is evidenced by the picture below. They were mauled and torn apart and disemboweled and mutilated with one teen displaying his trophy blood-soaked hands and the crowd outside reacted with brutish and primal screams of ecstasy. These are the people the world treasures and demand that Israel make nice with them.

The above example is far from the only sign which reveal what the nature of those who the world wishes to adopt and favor over Israel. There is another place where the actions speak so much louder than words. This place is Joseph’s Tomb in Hevron. It is in the area of Hevron controlled by the Palestinian Authority and outside the reach of the Jewish community at the edge of the city. The Arab revels and celebrates, as if in carnal ecstasy, as they destroy the Jewish shrine time and time again. Each time Jews under protection of the IDF steal their way in armored buses and rebuild the entire sight in a few hours only to have the Arabs make it into an unholy sacrifice to their unbridled hatred. We have a montage of pictures below where the top displays the Arab brutality to a Jew who has been dead over two thousand years and the bottom the devotion of setting things right as we Jews cannot permit his soul’s resting to be so disturbed. Joseph’s bones were carried back from Egypt by Moses personally in order to keep a by then centuries’ promise made by our early ancestors. If this and the above are typical examples, and as the desecration of Joseph’s tomb is a regular event we can expect such are exactly that, then what peace could ever be reached with such people. We will not even begin to go into any description of what had been done to synagogues and Jewish cemeteries by Jordan in the nineteen years they held parts of Jerusalem and Judea and Samaria, today referred to as the Shomron. The typical example was the tombstones which had been used to build latrines. When Israel restored one of the destroyed synagogues, the Palestinians and other Arab spokespeople referred to Israel rebuilding the synagogue as a mission of hate and spite and an offense to Islam and threatening the peace process. Perhaps some will remember the disaster which resulted when thirteen Palestinian terrorists barricaded themselves in the Church of the Nativity knowing that either the Israelis would be stymied and unable to reach them or be forced to destroy this Christian holy place, a holy place which to them had no special value except as a cloak to hide behind from the Israelis. These monsters tore up priceless ancient books and used the pages as toilet-paper and burned relics to cook their meals. They harassed and threatened the priests, used priceless chalices, when not drinking straight from the bottle rummaging through the Church wine cellar laughingly breaking bottles and drinking numerous others. They left the Christian holy site a shambles and the world either laid all the blame on Israel or said nothing.

 

 

Whether the gentlemen from Washington succeed in finding any Arab to claim they will assist President Trump with his deal, they should not celebrate too quickly. It was claimed after an earlier trip by Trump officials that Jordan, Egypt and Saudi Arabia were onboard with assisting in pressuring Abbas or acting as an agent for the Palestinians in place of Abbas. Those promises turned into wisps of smoke and dissipated faster than one takes to read their report once they got home. The initial glee and excitement quickly became disappointment. President Trump should prepare for more disappointment should reports come that there has been remarkable success with their flash-dance across the five Arab states as that will be what the success will become a flash, a little dance and when the music stops and the song is over, the promises will vanish just as before. The reality is this is not a real estate deal nor is it about land. This is about life and death; they desire death while we desire life. They are willing to have fifty million Muslims die if it would destroy Israel. We want to live and would like to live in peace, they want us dead and are willing to kill everything including themselves if it leads to our deaths. The only deal which the Arab World, and much of the Muslim World, will ever accept is Israel wiped from being the Jewish State and the Jews gone, and if nobody will take the Jews, that is fine as they already have an example on how to solve that dilemma, they can behead the men and they have a different use for the women as spoils of war. They always have their example by the way Muhammad would have handled the situation once he was ensconced in Medina. This is why the Medina Quran is so diametrically opposite to the Mecca Quran. This is why President Trump will not fare any better than his predecessors at finding the middle ground, there is no middle ground, either all the ground is given to the Arabs or they will simply wait until Islam has conquered Europe and the Americas and then turn their attentions towards Israel, and then it will likely be three, four or more, billion Muslims against perhaps sixteen million Jews. This will be the foretold world against Israel, a war foretold by prophesies and it is said that it will be better to stand with Israel when this final war takes place. Personally, we would be even happier if President Trump does find a settlement which is real and effective and allows for all the people to have an opportunity for a positive and bright future. Unfortunately, this is a dance we have witnessed before and it almost never turns out well for Israel as the Arabs will demand Israel forfeit something to prove that Israel desires peace, and then they will pocket the concession and walk away until the next time, rinse, repeat…

Jerusalem Coming Attractions Next Week

 

Jerusalem will become a driving nightmare next week while both United States Presidential security and Secret Service plus Israeli security for the Prime Minister and close to half the Knesset, Mayor of Jerusalem and a list of unknowns who deserve safety as well all gathering at the scene of the dedication and opening of the American Embassy in Jerusalem, the capping off of President Trump recognizing Jerusalem as the Capital City of Israel, even its eternal Capital. We have been informed through rumor and unofficial reports and semi-official reports that, as we stated yesterday, Donald Trump’s Daughter Ivanka and Husband Jared Kushner will be making an appearance at the grand opening of the American Embassy in Jerusalem. This means, Presidential level security or higher will be in place. The Secret Service will be thoroughly, exhaustively efficient and competent in their security put in place and attention to detail in assessing threats. Their work will probably be set just that little bit higher level as this is Jerusalem. Then there is the Israeli security which will be in place to protect Donald Trump’s Daughter Ivanka and Husband Jared Kushner above and beyond that in place for the Israeli VIPs who will be attending plus possibly other important people. This will mean that certain roads, bus routes and other forms of travel will be diverted, in some cases for no reason which is obvious or understandable. Some of these obstructions will be familiar to Jerusalem natives who have experienced these inconveniences before but they will probably complain that this time they went too far. The only reality that matters is that nothing untoward occurs to those attending the opening, traveling to the opening, leaving the grand opening, or simply visiting Jerusalem will be very safe almost anywhere within the Tel Aviv-Jerusalem corridor with an emphasis on Jerusalem and Ben Gurion International Airport. The safest place on Earth will be this area of Israel during the three days around the opening of the American Embassy coinciding with Israel’s 70th anniversary. The Embassy will initially be located in the Arnona neighborhood, in a modern building that now houses consular operations of U.S. Consulate General Jerusalem.

 

The reports that President Donald Trump is also potentially considering attending will make little difference to the level of required security. It likely will not even make any difference in the roads blocked and the detour routes and all the other security arrangements. Granted, should the President attend, and we really wish he would be there, as it would add much to the meaning of this dedication. He began this with his Jerusalem announcement and this would be the exclamation point which could only help. If the President is concerned about his attending making peace more difficult, not to worry, as long as Abbas and Hamas are in existence, then peace will not happen, as they do not desire peace, they desire all Israelis dead. President Trump should most definitely come to celebrate the fruits of his efforts. He signaled the importance and direction he intended for the emphasis of his foreign policy with the selection of his Ambassador to Israel, his choice of Ambassador to the United Nations and his establishment of a special group to affect his policies in the Middle East. This was further established with his statements about the unviability of the Iran Nuclear Agreement and his slowly sliding towards pulling out of the agreement and placing embargoes back on Iran, which President Donald Trump announced Tuesday where he called the 2015 agreement, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) an “embarrassment” that “should never have been reached.” The President added, “After the sanctions were lifted, the dictatorship used its new funds to build nuclear capable missiles, support terrorism, and cause havoc throughout the Middle East and beyond.” President Trump stated pointedly, “The agreement was so poorly negotiated that even if Iran fully complies, the regime can still be on the verge of a nuclear breakout in just a short period of time. The deal’s sunset provisions are totally unacceptable.” This and his declaration recognizing that Jerusalem was exactly as King David declared, the eternal capital of the Jewish State. Some things simply are beyond man’s ability to alter, something all the previous Presidents thought their wavers prevented the truth; it did not. One thing which was definite, the Jerusalem Municipality welcomes transfer of United States Embassy.

The Palestinian Authority, PLO, Fatah and every other organization which has any relation to Mahmoud Abbas have all called for everyone officially attached to their organizations, parties, governing groups, terror organization or any other identity to boycott the establishment of the new American Embassy in Jerusalem. This, they believe, will ruin the reality of the establishing of the Embassy of the United States in Jerusalem. They all have a very high view of themselves and we ask what difference does their refusal make and who actually expected them to come and applaud the opening of the United States Embassy, especially in Jerusalem. Hamas has decided that they will breach the border fence between Gaza and Israel and storm Jerusalem foiling the attempt to establish the United States Embassy in Jerusalem. Hamas has sworn that this will be the finale to their Gaza month of riots and it will be a grand spectacle. Some people are risking the lives of the youths who unfortunately believe what they have been fed and even believe their efforts will prove invincible and they will overwhelm the Jews. They have been fed a regular diet about the cowardly Jew who cannot find the strength to stand up to their grandness of will and their Arab will which Allah uses to make them into the weapons of the new caliphate and thus impervious to the IDF soldiers. They have been told that their rushing an IDF position will so frighten the Jew soldiers that they will drop their weapons and flee in terror and then they can use those weapons to kill the fleeing soldiers. Many of them believe the entirety to be a lark, a game where they play the part of the indignant and insulted party and the Jews are not going to use force to prevent their efforts because, well, because that is what they are told to believe and all too often the IDF appears reluctant to use deadly force. This has reinforced this idea in their heads that the IDF is scared to actually shoot them. It is honestly a sad reality that the reluctance of the IDF to take lives needlessly and without overwhelming need might lead to them needing to shoot into a crowd of hundreds of youths who have been told by their Hamas leaders that their time to storm the fence and march on Jerusalem has finally come. These Hamas leaders will be right behind them all the way, about two or three miles behind them. Hopefully non-deadly force will be all that will be necessary to prevent the youth from reaching a point where deadly force is the only option left to the soldiers.

 

This brings us to the question of what happens if the worst-case scenario should come to pass. There are several such scenarios. The mass of youths breaching the Gaza fence is the most obvious and among the most dangerous. The best scenario with this would be water cannons and other nonlethal crowd control methods, even to include sound amplification methods, will be sufficient to prevent an extended breach. Should the Hamas effort include people shooting at the IDF from within the breaching crowd, that will leave no choice but to return fire and hopefully snipers can pick off only those with weapons and the IDF troops not be forced to fire into a crowd of apparently unarmed individuals simply because they are taking fire from somewhere within the group. This was a tactic used before in the Gaza Wars where Hamas and Islamic Jihad fighters would grab a younger child and run from one position to another position holding the child to their torso using them as a bulletproof vest. This has been brought up at the United Nations by Ambassador Haley.

 

The other item which must be guarded against, and this is where preparations and intelligence serve as the best hopes, is to be ready to intercept and prevent any attack on the ceremonies by terrorists or other forces. Hamas has rockets which are capable of reaching Jerusalem and Hezballah and the IRGC have many missiles which could be used to target specific targets within Israel, anywhere within Israel including Jerusalem. The Palestinian Authority does not have the rocket capability compared to Hamas and the Iranian backed Hezballah and IRGC, but it would not take much of a rocket to cause an international incident. Such an attack does not even need to be remotely accurate, simply anywhere within a number of blocks would be sufficient to shut down the ceremony unless serious orders were given to ignore the distraction, as the dedication cannot be prevented by such an act. Such a decision could only come from one of two people, President Trump or Secretary of Defense Mattis. There is only a chance that one of these gentlemen will be present to give such an order, and he is still undecided. There are other threats which will overshadow the preparations and potentially the ceremony itself. The preparations are the antidote to any interference with the ceremony, but that does not mean there might not be some surprises. We hope all will go smoothly and, to be honest, we have sufficient faith in the Israeli intelligence and IDF to feel confident that everything will go smooth as silk.

Apocalypse Israel Skewered by Trump and Company

 

President Trump has assembled a group to formulate the most marvelous peace proposal which they will craft such that Mahmoud Abbas will feel comfortable taking it demanding two or three adjustments and Israel will be informed that their military is so dependent on American provisions that they can simply sit down, shut up and take their medicine because the object is to allow Trump to accomplish what no one before him had been able to do, and if Israel must suffer some inconvenience, well it is about time and this time they will simply bite the bullet and take whatever is coming. A senior White House adviser said Trump’s Mideast peace plan would attempt to tackle hot-button issues such as the status of Jerusalem and West Bank settlements.

The team includes Jason Greenblatt, son-in-law and chief Middle East adviser Jared Kushner, Deputy National Security Adviser for Strategy Dina Powell and US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman with this four-member team reportedly also consulting with State Department officials along with US Consul General in Jerusalem Donald Blome. This was meant to impress everybody and with Jared Kushner and David Friedman on board, Israel should have nothing to worry about, right? We have seen dream teams before and we can only hope that this will be the final dream team, whether they succeed or fail. Every time there is one of these great ventures, Israel is pressured and forced to surrender lands and sovereignty to the Arabs and the Arabs are to make promises with their full intention of ignoring them two minutes later, if that long. Israel should work to minimize the damage which will be coming simply because President Trump is the greatest deal-maker in the world and he will make this deal, he has promised exactly that. Unfortunately, President Trump will deliver on this deal even if it all but kills Israel in the process, if not then, the coming war will be moments after everybody finishes glad handing one another over the miracle they had achieved.

Perhaps this is the time for a few quotes from the past week or so about these developments would be in order. First up is Middle East envoy Jason Greenblatt who told The New York Times, “We have spent a lot of time listening to and engaging with the Israelis, Palestinians and key regional leaders over the past few months to help reach an enduring peace deal. We are not going to put an artificial timeline on the development or presentation of any specific ideas and will also never impose a deal. Our goal is to facilitate, not dictate, a lasting peace agreement to improve the lives of Israelis and Palestinians and security across the region.”

The New York Times reported also that both sides would be required to commit to confidence building measures, so, here we go again. “For Israel, it could include limiting settlement construction to current blocs without taking new land, recommitting to a two-state solution and redesignating a small part of the West Bank to give Palestinians more control.” Here we go again, no more houses to be built in the towns and not more construction even of places which would provide jobs for Israelis and Palestinians alike and growing families forced to live generation upon generation in a single dwelling. Meanwhile the European Union and Arabs may build freely even in places where the Arabs are forbidden by the Oslo Accords but rules do not apply to the Arabs as the whole idea is to destroy Israel.

“For the Palestinians, it could include resuming full security cooperation with Israel, holding off seeking further international recognition and ending payments to families of Palestinians imprisoned for terrorist attacks. Arab states, particularly Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates and Jordan, could add their own commitments, like overflights by Israeli passenger planes, visas for business people and telecommunications links.”

Note the difference; Israel surrenders actual concrete items and actual ground while the Palestinians only are required to end payments to terrorist’s families who are imprisoned. What about those who died in their terror attack, do they still pay those families, not to mention they will simply rename these payments and continue them while claiming they have ended. We can hear Abbas now; we have ended the payments to the families of terrorists while in reality they now receive monthly patriotism reward payments for their families’ contribution to the greater effort. In the end, there will be one small item which Abbas just cannot agree unless the item is included. Then the pressure starts on Israel and as Netanyahu slowly concedes, Abbas hints, suggests the advantage, requests, then says he will walk unless this additional item is included and the final request is something he recently promised the Arab world. According to Abbas and his latest stand, he explained, “We won’t relinquish the ‘right of return’.” This is the one demand which Mahmoud Abbas knows that Israel cannot accept as it would mean many millions, anywhere from four or five million to uncountable as every Syrian refugee in any camp would probably claim to be of Palestinian decent just to be in Israel for a better life plus all the Hezballah, IRGC, Islamic State and other Islamic groups flooding Israel with possibly twenty million Arab refugees with potentially three-quarters of them being terrorist plants specially sent to destroy Israel.

Here is where a problem just might creep into the whole equation. Let us start with a little historic story. Once upon a time, there was an America President and his Secretary of State where the Secretary of State once stated she thought of the Palestinians as the black slaves and the Israelis the plantation owners. They believed they had the solution, the grand solution by which the Palestinians would have the opportunity to prove their desire to found a state and actually make a go of it and the Israelis could see the progress and realize they should trust the Palestinians with the rest of what the world believes is legally their land. They gave Israel guarantees and assurances that everything would be protected by the United States and if anything were to go awry, then Israel and the United States would repair the damage together and put things back to the way they were. This was the great experiment where nothing could go wrong, Prime Minister Sharon fell for President George W. Bush and Condoleezza Rice and their promises and grand solution, and Gaza was given over to Mahmoud Abbas and the Palestinians to build their state. Within two years, Hamas took control of Gaza in a coup and apparently that was not something going awry as the United States did nothing to return things to the way they were. Hopefully, Prime Minister Netanyahu recalls the worth of any United States promises and assurances that they will protect anything of Israel should things from their next grand scheme go wrong. Their guarantees are worthless, as worthless as every rocket and missile that Hamas and Islamic Jihad launch and every tunnel these terrorists dig is because of the guarantees given to Israel by an American President, one who the Israelis hailed as the most pro-Israel President ever, and now Trump has that same title and is coming with another grand plan where Israel makes concrete sacrifices and makes promises and hopes for peace while the world works through Trump’s inability to comprehend that he is being used as their tool to destroy Israel one step further.

 

So, let us look at the real story. President Trump is out to prove that he is the ultimate deal-maker and he will ply and pry at Israel forcing her to give him that precious deal proving his prowess and deal-making abilities. The team is mostly made up of amateurs with no experience or real depth of knowledge of the situation. Prime Minister Netanyahu had best tell them all about the grand Gaza deal and remind them how that turned out and the lack of American response to the emergency they created. But the truth is that the Europeans are the truthful ones as the European Union builds in Israeli territories Arab housing in order to erase as much of Israeli lands as they are able. The whole of world efforts since the promise to found a Jewish homeland has been to make such impossible. From the start the British along with Arab leaders forced Arabs to move into the Jewish designated areas while forbidding Jews from entering, even making the area all but completely closed during the Shoah. Since the founding of Israel, the efforts of the world have been to force Israel to exit as many strategic areas to the Arabs as frontal assaults from Arab armies failed in 1948-9, 1967 and 1973. President Obama all but presented Iran with nuclear weapons which would eventually be used against the United States knowing that they would also be used against Israel. This was an act which all but guarantees World War III, unless the world, especially Europe, realizes what is coming and acts preventively.

 

Abbas Gives Peace This Much of a Chance

 

The world has worked to destroy Israel since her inception and continued even after she became a fact on the ground. Likely the first act should the European Union build a time machine, they will send an assassin back to murder Lord Balfour before he turns ten just to be sure. For a modern day replica of what Israel faced, look no further than the Kurdish and their recent referendum. The Kurdish forces in Iraq and Syria are largely responsible for the destruction of the Islamic State in those two nations and now they are being ditched like old birdcage newspaper lining. The Zionists were fortunate to have some people in important places and with wealth to back their efforts with Lord Rothschild being one of the more prominent names. The Kurds in Iraq and Syria need to band together and tell the world that they have decided to establish Kurdistan as they were promised would happen after World War I and simply define their desired borders and prepare to defend them. Israel should be the first nation to recognize such an effort and be there to assist their defense if requested. Israel received such assistance on a person-by-person basis as soldiers from World War II such as Colonel Marcus volunteered to assist the Jewish efforts. The world still thinks that they will destroy Israel given sufficient time; the establishing of Kurdistan might just give the world more national homelands as others may follow such an effort. The Berbers in Northern Africa are another group deserving of their own lands once again as are numerous others. Instead of attempting to destroy indigenous peoples’ hopes, the world should celebrate such and a good start would be instead of trying to destroy Israel, how about freeing Tibet from Chinese occupation, or does that occupation not count. The United States was supposed to be about freedom, hope and against tyranny, when did that all change? Perhaps the time has come for the United States to return to her roots and allow others to return to their roots and even assist those denied such freedoms. But we ask too much and know this, too bad.
