The Unkindest Cut of Anti-Semitism

 

It starts with the demonization of all who dare oppose President Obama and his obsessive claims of grandeur based on the presumption that President Barack Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry have avoided any possibility of war by bowing before Iran with the Iran nuclear deal known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPA) and the equating of Republicans with the Mullahs and those Iranian hardliners who chant “Death to America” and “Death to Israel” and any others as Israel Firsters and treasonous people putting Israeli interests ahead of those of the President and thus the United States. These claims that the only alternative to the JCPA Iran Nuclear Deal is war and that those opposing this wondrous plan as simply like those who sided with Israel to drag the United States into the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. There are a number of historical errors in this argument that need refuting before going on to the real argument that President Obama is making and the presumed lies which many in the media and throughout the political environment, especially backers of the President, especially some far leftist or die-hard committed Democrat Jews.

 

First and foremost, neither Israel, Israelis or those who do hold fast to supporting Israel desired to draw the United States into any wars in the Middle East and especially into a war in Afghanistan. Perhaps President Obama was asleep or on an extended holiday somewhere where there is no news coverage of planet Earth on September 11, 2001 or he is simply using heated rhetoric to draw a contrast which makes all who oppose his Iran Nuclear Deal as foreign agents or those who would place foreign interests ahead of those of the United States. Perhaps if we were to investigate where President Obama stood on the United States involvement with the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq and the entire idea of bringing change to instill democracies instead of dictatorial powers in the Middle East first we could gain some insights. Candidate for Senate Barack Obama ran his campaign opposing the American presence in Afghanistan and Iraq as well as opposed to holding al Qaeda suspects at the prison on the Guantanamo Naval Base and when he ran for the Presidency a few years later he promised to end all three entities. Further, as President he ignored the advisings of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and almost all other military reports and intelligence and instead hurriedly pulled almost every American troop from Iraq which also saw every allies force pulled as well leaving a nation poorly suited and obviously not prepared or capable of maintaining its governance without an allied presence as a stabilizing force. The situation in Iraq was more tenuous staring failure in the face than were Germany and Japan at the end of World War II and those two nations to this day have a large contingence of American troops present within their borders though they no longer serve as the sole stabilizing force. Still, there are few calling for their being brought home as they are simply occupying those nations unnecessarily, though a better argument could be put forward for doing exactly that in reference to the troops in Japan and Germany. Additionally, after the attacks on the World Trade Center Towers, the Pentagon and the last plane being brought down by the passengers before it could be brought to its target suspected to have been in Washington D.C. and probably the White House or Capital Building that the United States needed no invitation to begin to chase the Taliban leaders in Afghanistan and all supporters of al-Qaeda also in the training camps in Afghanistan and where Osama Bin Laden had planned and trained the twenty hijackers for the September 11, 2001 attacks and thus start the war in Afghanistan. Further, Israel, if anything, was conspicuously absent from the coalition against Iraq and had Israel made any recommendations, they likely would have added removing the theocratic governance in Iran immediately after removing the sole check to Iranian designs on the entirety of the Middle East and North Africa, known as MENA in military jargon and as the Caliphate in historical and Islamic literature, Saddam Hussein in Iraq.

 

Further, any claims that Israel is attempting to draw the United States or anybody into a war in the Middle East is ludicrous as Israel had never in her history attempted to draw any Western nations or any other nations or entities into the Middle East and had stressed that any military actions necessitated for Israel’s protection will be undertaken by the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) and all she has ever requested is for those nations who have made promises to keep those promises. Unfortunately for Israel, there has been an ever increasing tendency for Western powers to forget their promises, treaties, agreements, letters of intents and even promises for armaments some of which whose precedent was Israeli promise to cease development and potentially building Israeli weapons systems and in exchange the United States promised to agree to favorable terms and complete support of all air requirements necessitated to give the Israeli Air Force (IAF) air-superiority over her neighbors and including equipment, upgrades, repair parts and systems and other necessitated arrangements such as where possible allowances for Israel avionics and targeting systems such that Israeli manufactured weapons systems could be adapted and used on such airframes. The United States had on its own volition as part and parcel of agreements to share intelligence and other mutually advantageous agreements to provide Israel with prompt resupply of armaments should her supplies and provisions grow depleted beyond a situation considered optimal for Israel’s defense which was dramatically not only neglected but intentionally and wantonly ignored, prevented and blocked all in an attempt to weaken Israel before her enemies who had breached the peace but for all intents and purposes the Obama Administration saw fit to scrap forty years of protocols and insert an additional step to what had previously been a military to military relationship requiring the State Department to sign off on all weapons and armament shipments to Israel after a review which resulted in what was obviously a new procedure instituted with the sole intent to deny Israel resupply while she was engaged in hostilities after coming under rocket attacks approaching a thousand rockets in the three days leading up to the Israeli incursion into Gaza to and their hostilities on the civilian population of Israel including rockets fired at Ashdod, Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. Yet now we are hearing that Israel is the evil party attempting to harm the relationship, understandings and alliances between the United States and Israel solely as an attack on President Obama by accusing him of dealing falsely in his negotiations with Iran that are placing both Israel and the United States in peril, remember that little thing about the United States as the Great Satan and Israel as the Little Satan along with chants led by the Supreme Leader himself of “Death to America” and “Death to Israel.”

 

The making Israel out to be the evil influence threatening the United States and attempting to topple the Presidency of the United States by interfering with the ratification of the nuclear deal with Iran is absurd. The claims that it is the hardliners in Iran and Israel who stand alone against this deal and are aiming to destroy the legacy of the President is equally absurd. And then comes the claims that the Israeli Prime Minister is acting out on his idea of the existence of a grudge match pitting the President as the evil entity when everybody knows that President Obama, as he has stated on numerous occasions even recently when pointing out how the Iran deal protected Israel unlike any previous agreement and was crafted with Israeli security in mind, has been the most stalwart and consistent friend Israel has ever had. The President has further pointed out that the only alternative, as Prime Minister Netanyahu has pointed out himself, to the JCPA, the Iran nuclear deal, is to go to war. Furthermore, there was the twisting of an invitation to address a joint session of Congress behind the President’s back working with an evil cabal of Republicans to work to marginalize President Obama and directly oppose the efforts of the President and instead instigate open warfare and the destruction of and semblance of order remaining in MENA nations. President Obama has pointed to all he has done and sacrificed and to how Benyamin Netanyahu has used every opportunity to upend and destroy their friendly relations the President has attempted to build between Israel and the United States.

 

Well, let’s try and set the records straight. President Obama is feigning ignorance of the spiraling out of control venomous spite and hatred he has shown Prime Minister Netanyahu accusing him of forming a relationship to try to assist Presidential candidate Mitt Romney to win the election and defeat the sitting President, White House spokespeople accused Prime Minister Netanyahu of consistently coming out in favor of Romney and all but actively campaigning for Romney. One can check the records and they will prove that Prime Minister Netanyahu refused to take sides in the election and admitted to having had friendly relations with Romney and with President Obama. The Israeli Prime Minister has done all within his powers to play nice-nice with the President and has received constant attempts to pull the rug from beneath the Prime Minister by making startling announcements such as the belief of President Obama that the 1967 lines (the Green Line or 1949 Armistice Line) as the basis for the Palestinian State right as the Prime Minister was boarding the plane for a state visit. The animosities and brusque treatments suffered by the Israeli Prime Minister which include but are not limited to being made to use the back service entrance to meet and leave from meeting with President Obama, the refusal to hold a joint press meeting after their talks for the first three years of President Obama Presidency, leaving the Prime Minister by announcing he was going to go and have dinner with his family and then instructing the Prime Minister of Israel to meet with Netanyahu’s advisors who were present at a working meeting and to call for the President when they had finally decided to acquiesce to the demands put forth by President Obama; the Prime Minister was reported to have sat stunned for a few minutes before gathering himself and leaving the White House discreetly. Add to the items, and they are legion, of slights, insults and interventions including using political advisors and other assets in an active campaign to unseat the Prime Minister during the Israeli elections, and it is amazing that the Prime Minister has not taken a more adversarial role with President Obama. Even when Prime Minister Netanyahu was invited to speak before a joint session of Congress and had alerted the White House where the Prime Minister’s office had spoken with a representative of the White House who had presumably gotten back with the Israelis affirming the visit and speech only to pretend that they had never been given any warning or been included in the invitation process and were in a pique and felt very insulted and refused to meet with the Prime Minister during the visit and no White House representative attended the speech basically pretending that the Prime Minister was persona non grata as far as the President was concerned.

 

But now things have gone beyond any pretenses of political gamesmanship and into the level of using blood libels and threatening to instigate waves of anti-Semitism across the United States should the JCPA be defeated by the Congress. The particular target of these slanderous and libelous accusations is a standout of traditional Democrat anchorage and a man whose patriotism and dedication to party are beyond question; well, until this past weekend. The politician in question is New York Senior Senator Chuck Schumer, a man who is in line to lead his Party in the Senate in the near future and well respected by many in the ranks of the Democrat Party and a go to Senator when the chips are down and influence and leadership are required. The problem is that this time around Senator Schumer has taken a position standing against President Obama, the leader of the Democrat Party, and against much of the power structure of the Democrat Party even if doing so might damage or even permanently end his position of power within the Party. Senator Schumer has placed a complete argument for his stance against the JCPA on his official pages titled My Position on the Iran Deal. As his explanation does include a reference to Israel as it is combined with Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq, and Gaza as all being targets for Iranian influence and its terror proxies. The paragraph reads as follows:

 

“In addition, we must consider the non-nuclear elements of the agreement. This aspect of the deal gives me the most pause. For years, Iran has used military force and terrorism to expand its influence in the Middle East, actively supporting military or terrorist actions in Israel, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq, and Gaza. That is why the U.S. has labeled Iran as one of only three nations in the world who are “state sponsors of terrorism.” Under this agreement, Iran would receive at least $50 billion dollars in the near future and would undoubtedly use some of that money to redouble its efforts to create even more trouble in the Middle East, and, perhaps, beyond.”

 

 

Senator Schumer gestures his disapproval as being ‘this big’ as he tells President Obama that he will not be supporting the Iran Nuclear surrender, umm, I mean agreement.

 

 

The singling out of Senator Schumer is troubling in a number of ways. Perhaps the most of these troubling parallels are those which can be drawn between the assaults made against Senator Schumer and those in the infamous affaires de Captain Alfred Dreyfus where an innocent Jewish officer in the service of the French military was scapegoated as the traitor who had sold information to the Germans, a deed actually committed by one of the General Staff and a man of rank and high privilege and family. The accusations of treason were to find Captain Dreyfus guilty of treason and sentenced to life in prison of Devil’s Island in French Guiana. He was eventually released and even later cleared of all charges largely due to the efforts made by his wife Lucie and the works by Émile Zola of which his masterpiece proclamation “J’Accuse…!” pictured below with portrait of Émile Zola. The additional pictures are of Captain Alfred Dreyfus’s reinstatement and portrait near the end of his life and one depicting the cell used to keep Captain Alfred Dreyfus in solitary confinement not permitted to converse even with the guards outside and the Dreyfus Tower erected in his honor at a high point overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Fortunately for Senator Schumer Devil’s Island has long ceased to be utilized as a prison but he can visit as it has been made into a tourist spot.

 

 

 

 

 

The depiction of Senator Schumer as being a turncoat, a traitor to his Party, a traitor to his President, and committing traitorous acts which will, according to those leveling both barrels on the Senator, bring his nation into a senseless and avoidable war. Senator Schumer has also been accused of basing his decision not on what would be good for his nation, not on what is possible instead of some perfect agreement which would only exist in some perfect world in a perfect reality, and worse still, sacrificing the young men and women who will have to fight this war all for a foreign nation, Israel. The singling out of Senator Schumer is not because he is casting a vote as a Democrat against the deal which, if we are to believe some mainstream media reports, a finely tuned and exquisitely worded document which had no loopholes, nor frayed edges and no strings dangling; it is a solid stand-alone agreement on limiting Iranian efforts to become a nuclear armed state which is so perfect that there is another whole deal which will supercede the stipulations in this deal with new stipulations in a secret deal which nobody has a right to view this part of the agreement and must simply take President Obama’s promises that it strengthens the original deal made by Secretary of State Kerry. The White House has not officially named who the team members were working to produce this super-secret agreement part deux. But it is Senator Schumer being targeted largely for obvious reasons, he is Jewish, he has a strong record of supporting Israel, he knows the Israeli Prime Minister, he has visited Israel more than once and even more than the President who is a self-proclaimed supporter and best friend of Israel who knows what is best for Israel more than the Israelis know what is good for Israel themselves which is also why the vast majority of Israelis have opposed the deal, confused yet? So, obviously Senator Schumer must be under the evil influences of those Israeli manipulators because the majority, even the majority in the opposition parties in the Knesset with their leader Labor Party Chairman Isaac Herzog met with Prime Minister Netanyahu and they shook hands, held a press briefing and both came out against the Iran Nuclear Deal.

 

Many pro-Israel nationalists, Zionists and others all oppose this deal, the JCPA, even to including many who voted for President Obama not just once but twice. There are so many items included within the known sections of the agreement that have little to nothing to do with Iran becoming a nuclear weapons armed state as they will be going towards that full steam ahead deal or no deal. The problems come in with the ability for Iran to purchase as many weapons in as many types, styles, uses, and complexity, Iran being permitted to procure and then produce full range rockets capable of carrying satellites into space and warheads to any point on the globe, they can purchase mid-range missiles, arm Hezballah, arm the Houthis in Yemen, arm Hamas if they return to their former friends modality after some Hamas leaders meet with the Saudis and expand their reach in Central and South America and probably place more agents and provocateurs in the United States and potentially return Bashir al-Assad to power while the United States flies air support for Iranian troops in Iraq against ISIS and the Iranians have already bought air defense systems from Russia, the S-300 anti-aircraft-and-missile systems, plus a few aircraft such as one-hundred-fifty Chinese Chengdu J-10 sophisticated jet fighters with Israeli avionics and finally, two-hundred-fifty highly-advanced Russian Sukhoi-Su-30MK1 heavy-fighter-bombers as well as one-hundred IL78 MKI tanker aircraft; or simply put, Iran is purchasing an entire air force. Iran can purchase almost whatever variety of weapons they desire with the huge inflow of ready and hard cash and as it is in dollars which may be losing a fair amount of its buying power so they will likely buy it all now.

 

What is there not to like about this great deal President Barack Hussein Obama and Secretary Jean François Kerry (spoken with a proper Parisian accent) have crafted over the last few years plus some indeterminate number of months, days, hours etcetera. They worked very hard with great fanfare meaning nothing to reach such an accord which will have little effect on Iran as anything Iran desires to include producing nuclear and thermonuclear warheads to their hearts’ content while the United States keeps calling for immediate inspections where suspicious activities have been detected by satellite pictures and other intelligence while the Iranians just continue doing as they please confident that there will be no unscheduled inspections. For there to be any inspection first one of the claimants, they are the United States, Iran, Russia, China, Great Britain, France, and Germany, can call for inspections which completes the initial step. Then Iran is petitioned and they can acquiesce or demand the committee decide if an unscheduled inspection is in order but if they are feeling particularly friendly the Iranians can skip the formalities and just allow the inspection. Should Iran demand a formal inspection then the committee of all of the P5+1 plus Iran and the European Union, how the European Union got in there is beyond me, I guess they just hung around and posed for so many pictures that it was simply taken for granted that they were also included somehow. The vote needs five of the eight votes in order for an inspection to take place but right off the top we realize that Iran will be voting against any inspections as will China, Russia. Let us further assume that the United States, Great Britain, and Germany all vote in favor. With the vote all tied at three to three and five votes required for a majority it makes the votes of France and the European Union to get vote in favor. We need to remember that even Germany is doubtful in reality once they build-up good trade relations and have lots of Euros invested then they are highly unlikely to vote against their cash cow. So even if only the French or the European Union vote against and snap inspection then there will be no inspection. So there will not even be snap inspections called and even if by some miracle there are five or more votes and inspections are called, then Iran can call for a delay of as much as twenty-four days and then another vote will end up being called for and such can happen that Iran might even delay a snap inspections plain and simple.

 

Due to all the shortcomings of the JCPA which have been made known to the public and the public by a margin of two to one the public opposes the deal. The troubling reality is that as many of those polled there was almost half who claimed to not understand enough about the JCPA to make an informed statement either way. One of the most interesting, in an unnerving sort of way, revealed when asking whether or not Congress should vote for or against the JCPA, the Iran Nuclear Agreement, they preferred professing ignorance rather than give an opinion by a wide margin. The totals were Just over 1-in-4 (27%) say Congress should vote to approve it while 1-in-3(32%) say Congress should not, as a plurality (41%) are not sure what Congress should do. There was also this Quinnipiac University poll conducted July 23-28 of 1,644 registered voters, 57 percent oppose the deal compared to 28 percent who support it, a margin of exactly 2:1 against the JCPA Iran Deal. How does the White House come out and claim that any members of Congress who vote against the deal are stooges under the control of Israel and the Jewish Lobby? What is their reasoning other than to get a rise out of the people who agree with President Obama when the deal gets rejected, he vetoes the Congressional vote against this JCPA and then when it returns to Congress they muster the few additional votes and override his veto, what then? Is it the President’s plan to then use his phone and his pen calling for a solution to the problem of unfair influence by those Jews who forced Senator Schumer and other Jews and those owned by Jew money and influence that is destroying his America and they must be stopped, is that the ball game Mr. President? Is the entire reason your nuclear surrender to Iran being voted down by anybody who took the time to read the deal all a Jewish conspiracy and now you want the Jews stopped from interfering with your plans to change the Middle East as well as the United States? Well Mr. President, Senator Schumer read the publically available parts of the deal and was as in the dark as the rest of the Congress and the American people who all object to your super-secret further deal where, for all the people of the United States and their representatives in the House of Representatives and the Senate know, you probably gave away the farm and half the cities or made some crazed deal that you would not even let Secretary Kerry see which just makes everyone that much more suspicious and made rejecting the deal with the devil and by a devil a deal America does not want. Is the only reaction you can fall back on is the Jews prevented your greatest achievement? That is where you are in error as the Jews who are Israelis did not, in overwhelming numbers, accept the horrific deal you made which sold them down the river along with the United States and many fear that the United States will go first and then Israel will be left to avenge the ninety percent of Americans who will likely die after the electrical grid, which everybody ignored its vulnerability, will perish before your nation can right itself and that will leave Israel to hold back Iran and we all have to pray she has sufficient ability or Western civilization is going to die in ruins. That is why those who have read the JCPA reject it and reject it vigorously. It is not a Jew thing but a thinking person’s thing just like your ObamaCare would have died had anybody been given time to read and debate it. Fool us once, shame on you, but fool us twice then shame on us. I’m sorry, Mr. President, this is a bad deal and, wait a moment, maybe I’m not sorry, maybe I am finally serious as I read the deal and so did many others and just like if we had read the Affordable Care and Patient Protection Act, all the over a thousand pages we would have rejected it, but now we can reject your plan for the surrender of the world to Shia Islam, we say no!

President Obama and John Kerry Blame Israel First

 

This week we had some of the most anti-Israel and anti-Semitic Comments from the Administration. The statements from Secretary of State Kerry were given in an in-depth interview given to the Administration’s favorite and very supportive reporter, Jeffrey Goldberg of The Atlantic newspaper. Secretary Kerry made claims that the nuclear deal with Iran is “as pro-Israel as it gets.” The Secretary of State further stated resolutely that he “doesn’t know” if the Iranian leadership is serious about destroying the State of Israel. One can only wonder what universe Secretary Kerry’s mind is wandering, lost and all alone, to make such ludicrous statement of this magnitude of self-deception. Kerry predicted that the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei would never negotiate stating, “The ayatollah constantly believed that we are untrustworthy, that you can’t negotiate with us, that we will screw them. This will be the ultimate screwing. He will not come back to negotiate. Out of dignity, out of a suspicion that you can’t trust America. America is not going to negotiate in good faith. It didn’t negotiate in good faith now, would be his point.” From what we observed, the Iranians, especially there Quran memorized genius extraordinaire Ayatollah Khamenei, have yet to negotiate once they had read Secretary Kerry and his boss, President Obama, were neophytes splashing in the toddlers’ wading pool claiming they were fighting off the circling sharks and thus ended any hopes for negotiations and opened the doors for schooling. The Iranians realized that neither Secretary Kerry nor President Obama had a solid conviction, they could never compromise and as such would accept every rejection as final, never to be brought back and pushed again, and further were taking dictation from the Iranians for the wording of the agreement and thusly Iran dictated and the Americans simply wrote what they were instructed bobbing their heads in agreement like a bobble-head in the rear window of a car riding the cobblestone streets of Annapolis.

 

There is little doubt that what has been presented to Congress for their taking an up or down vote is at best a disastrous compendium of failed and spineless representation of the United States committed without even a modicum of American pride and care for the future of a once great nation or at worst it is simply a shameless, weak-willed, cowardly, bald-faced surrender of the United States, Europe, Israel, the Western World, and every former American ally the world over before the greatest state sponsor of terrorism responsible for uncounted deaths of American military men in Lebanon, Iraq and within the United States itself and that was merely their initial volleys. Just wait until they have their nuclear stockpile guaranteed by this deal to come as early as eight years and likely less. I apologize for that long-winded prose but as they might have said in any number of states within the United States, “They needed a sayin’!” The deal which has been made public and the admission that the public deal, as atrocious and dangerous it is to the United States and the world beyond that, is only the welcome mat placed at the door to nuclear weaponry with the blessings and assistance of the best the United States has to offer, there is a further secret deal so much worse for the free world and anyplace not currently ruled by Shiite believers in the Twelfth Imam, that it has not and never will be made public. This deal that is being offered which implies acceptance of the secretive deal forbidden for the lawmakers in Congress to even read while in a closed session of Congressional members holding Top Secret clearance from the Pentagon, State Department, the FBI, the CIA and the Department of Homeland Security, has the stench of making Obama Care smelling like a rose. Giving this deal the ratification which President Obama is demanding is even worse than Nancy Pelosi and her statement, “you have to pass the bill to know what’s in the bill,” as with this deal it is “you have to pass the deal and still you will never know what’s in the deal until it happens and thus too late.”

 

The secretive deal which was accomplished with the professional assistance of the IAEA has been produced using the IAEA as the middle men for the additional deal such that neither the United States nor the Iranians talked directly to the other side but instead were required for all communications go through the IAEA such that all negotiations and the final agreement will necessarily remain inaccessible to all but the persons directly involved in its crafting. By having the IAEA withhold any information until after the fact that the deal has been passed and approved by both sides. There is a remote possibility that the super-secret additional treaty will contain elements put into the final writing which the IAEA actually felt were necessary for them to complete their assigned duties which come from its charter and that of the United Nations as well as their enforcement of the NPT (Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons) which the IAEA felt were necessary to complete their requirements and duties independent of any agreement between the P5+1 and Iran. Any stir or complaining over the secretive deal would necessarily emanate from the Iranians as the United States appeared to be negotiating more like a gameshow host with the name of the show is ‘Giveaway’ which attempts to give people more prizes than they walk away with. As Carly Fiorina stated about the negotiations and the efforts directed by President Obama and carried out by John Kerry, “They broke every rule in the book.”

 

The rule they broke and broke constantly with Secretary of State Kerry starting his tirades with and ending his tirades with condemnation at Israel or at Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu. President Obama declared that Prime Minister Netanyahu to be a warmonger. There were innuendos that somehow any Israeli condemning, or even dare commenting at all, about the Iran nuclear deal, the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPA), are traitors to their country and they are defaming the President. President Obama has made particular mention of Israeli, and Prime Minister Benyamin (Bibi) Netanyahu’s opposition to the deal and claiming ad-nauseum that all the Israeli leader, and the rest of the Israeli leadership, wanted was to drag American troops back to the Middle East to fight their fight for them. They also implied that the Israelis were the only nation who was objecting to the deal and this must be because they just want to stir up trouble. While President Obama claimed Israel was blowing smoke and trying to vilify those who worded with great dedication to get such a strongly negotiated deal and that the JCPA was the equivalent of John F. Kennedy’s stand-off with the Soviets and ranked right up there with Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s work in his terms in office; Secretary of State Kerry was denoting that if the deal was not approved by Congress that Israel would find herself alone in the world and more international isolation of Israel was to result from their rejection of the greatest deal since the Ten Commandments were “negotiated” on Mount Sinai. Actually the entire deal was very much like receiving the Ten Commandments as Moses must have trembled in awe as the stones were carved and taken right out of the bedrock by Hashem and it is fairly safe to claim that Moses simply agreed to the terminology and meanings behind the Ten Commandments while Secretary Kerry and team sat there while Iran dictated the terms it wanted and cleaned the slate of any other concerns or left them with an aside which simply watered down any inconvenience Iran might have faced.

 

Between Secretary Kerry and President Obama’s deriding Israel, castigating Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and their blame Israel first, last and foremost should the JCPA fail in the Congress that Israel is to blame despite the small but consequential fact, Israel had absolutely no input on the terms, the one way terms, in this deal which is what will destroy its enactment as Israel would have demanded significant changes and most definitely refuse to allow the Iranians to delay any snap inspection and place it on a series of hearings and other deliberations and further delays from an appeal system which if taken through every delaying tactic, by our calculations, Iran can delay a snap inspection for as long as anywhere from 45 to 52 days which really does not make them all that snappy, immediate, or a surprise at all; and this system is the one for their supposed known facilities used strictly for civilians purposes. The snap inspection of a military instillation, if permitted at all by Iran which means a strong suspicion will possibly be approved after almost six months and If Iran can prove that such would harm their standings in the world and that the inspection is solely for Western spying, then the approval may not come, ever. Meanwhile, the collection of soil samples from the Parchin facility, which somehow survived in some form, permitting the IAEA to investigate by the use of soil samples has been tainted by the collection method of those samples. The Iranians have been noted through satellite pictures and reported sightings to be replacing the soil and gravel roads and putting down new soil for at least the second time. The soil samples from the Parchin will be provided by the Iranians themselves and not by a neutral or outside of the sight and simply labelled that they were taken from Parchin. They could guarantee the soil was the same as was now used in Parchin even if they used the soil from there and did not take it from the quarry or from wherever the current new soil is being taken.

 

The constant drumbeat of accusations against Israel and Israeli leadership for their lack of cooperation in assisting the administration in attaining approval for the JCPA began to wear thin as I am sure was also the feelings in the White House towards Bibi’s speech to Congress and his continued refusal to cooperate and get behind what he feels is an inadequate agreement. The inevitable blaming the Jewish leadership and Jews generally as being unsupportive and displaying an unhealthy affinity towards Israel and were guilty of putting Israel before their home nation, the United States will be the first step to rising anti-Semitism. Where this accusation was probably more targeting the Jewish members of Congress and potentially a remote few in media who are opposing the deal, the reality is it was also a warning shot across the bow for all Jews in the United States that under the remainder of President Obama’s term in office that the Jews have been put on notice that their loyalties are in question and they will also be held accountable should the JCPA fail in the Congress. So, should the JCPA fail in Congress then the problem is disloyal Jews who put their Judaism before their loyalty to the motherland, fatherland, hinterlands, any accusation of disloyalty or misplaced emotions for their ancestral homeland. By making this accusation against the Jews and only the Jews we have finally hit the official Nazi style denunciations of Jews as traitors. Where I am concerned is whether this is being drummed up solely to place an albatross around Senator Schumer, the Senior Senator from New York, is Jewish and is voting against the JCPA as of the latest news on his position attempting to force him back in line knowing full well that a number of other democrats will also follow his lead should he vote for the JCPA or is this a lead-up to convicted spy for Israel, Jonathan Pollard, who has been granted his parole and will be released from an American jail on November 21, 2015 after being incarcerated for thirty plus years with a number of that time held in solitary confinement. Perhaps President Obama is considering nullifying Pollard’s parole should the JCPA fail in the Congress as punishment for what he perceives as further Jewish treason and the sole person that President Obama can actually affect is Jonathan Pollard. Such spite is not beyond President Obama and one hopes that he is not mulling such a hate filled move should his precious not be passed.

 

At the other end of the scale, there has been rumored that a Republican Senator is planning to propose legislation forbidding the signing of the JCPA instead of simply relying on the proposed JCPA to fail in either side of the Congress but wishes to go the extra step of emphasizing the opposition to the Iran deal. This would be the worst possible idea and would only serve to empower President Obama’s use of his veto. Any legislation calling for the Iran deal to be nullified, never ever signed, discarded and try again, or any other manner of describing the distaste for the deal that was negotiated is wrongheaded and a potential disaster. Any such legislation proposed in either side of the Congress should be quashed immediately as should any legislation of this sort actually be passed challenging the Administration’s desire would open the entire effort to a Presidential veto. A bill demanding there be no signature on the JCPA gives President Obama veto power which he does not have should the JCPA be voted down. Should the JCPA be voted down in the Congress, that is the end, fini, terminated, and dishonorably discharged thus nullifying the Iran Deal. Once the JCPA is voted down it goes nowhere, not to the White House and does not even need to reach the other side of the Capital Building. Further, Presidents do not get to veto legislation which has not passed both sides in the Congress. A Presidential Veto is used to prevent legislation from the Congress become the law of the land and cannot take anything which failed in the Congress, veto their voting the deal down, and by doing so reinvigorate the monster deal giving it life again. If either side of Congress says no to this deal it is all over, especially should the Senate turn it down. President Obama does not get to change the rules in the Congress and make their voting something down come back to life by his vetoing their defeat of any vote, and challenge them to override his veto, as his veto has no weight if the Congress turned the bill down even if by a single vote in both sides of Congress. That is how democracy in the United States functions. The fear I hold is what ramifications might the Congress turning the JCPA down produce, as they most definitely should. They should demand in its place a real treaty where both sides get some of what they demand, not just sit there like sheep when the Iranians reject a proposed clause, and hang their head and acquiesce when the Iranians make a demand and nod approvingly as it is incorporated into the eventual final JCPA and then made into international law. The Jews will be held to account and the anti-Semitism that is running rampant in Europe will then take its first real foothold in the United States.

 

It is well known that President Obama has transformed two things in the United States. The first item he transformed was the Democrat Party which he remodeled into the far leftist realm of the ultra-socialist labor parties found in most European nations or whatever their main leftist, socialist party might be named. Additionally, President Obama has changed the United States and made it a faded copy of any European nation one might care to choose, even poor Greece as the United States debt is even worse than that of Greece in total Dollars or Euros. The only missing element has been overt anti-Semitism. Has anti-Semitism in the United States increased? You better believe it has as the reading of headlines for the past weeks would show. Anti-Semitism in the United States is fortunately nowhere near as bad as it is in Europe, but the potential is there for it to explode. Just remember the vote taken at the Democrat convention where the effort to include support for Israel and recognizing their capital city as Jerusalem, even if it did say Western Jerusalem, and to place “In G0d We Trust” into the Democrat Party Platform where they had to take the vote three times and never got the required majority but called it passed despite the votes by the delegates refuting these inclusions.

 

 

 

 

If the Democrat Party had that much difficulty that they had to operate by ignoring the rank and file delegates whom voted evenly split on whether or not to recognize Jerusalem as the Capital City of Israel, and for placing devotion to G0d into their Party Platform, then it would not be much of a step into anti-Semitism and the first call for rejecting the Jews in the United States separating them from the body of the Republic is always the same throughout history, the Jews are accused of treason, unfaithfulness to the nation, too involved with their religion to be true citizens and all of those start with the claim that they are not normal citizens and have an unhealthy allegiance to Hashem, Israel, Torah, their brethren amongst the enemies of the state, refusal to fight like everyone else in the last great war despite their service percentage of their population being higher than the average of the rest of the nation. The reason always used was to ask a group, ‘Who served in the last conflict,’ then with almost half the hands raised they ask the clincher, ‘Who had any Jews serving with you?’ When the majority of the hands go down the point is made but only because the Jews in the nation are almost always below two and more often below one or even one-half of a percent and thus even if every Jewish man, woman, child and infant were to serve in the last conflict and make a point that they were Jews, something rarely done often out of uncertainty and fear, still the majority would not have had a Jew serving with them. But that makes no matter and even if a mere three percent of the nation supports these haters, that still means they outnumber the Jews often two to one so at any rally the anti-Semites almost always outnumber the Jews simply due to numbers.

 

People are often amazed to find out what the percentage of Jews in the world, including those who barely have any attachment to their religion except perhaps holding a shortened Seder dinner with family at Passover and possibly attending Synagogue for high holy days of Rosh HaShana and Yom Kippur, the total percentage of Jews in the world stands around zero-point-two percent, that is 0.2 percent. When one figures in the Jewish populations for the United States and Israel accounting for just over 80 percent of the Jews living in the world, that makes the percentage of Jews in the remainder of the world at 0.04 percent on average for the rest of the world. The total number of Jews in the world is approximately a whopping 14.25 million out of a world population of 7.25 billion and President Obama claims that the Jews in Israel and around the world are going to defeat his international diplomatic triumph simply to punish his Jewish perceived scorn for Israel and its Prime Minister and their reaction, if it were to exist, is based on how it will treat Israel and not out of concern for the potential of an Iranian attack on the United States. Really? Give me a break.

President Obama is attempting to tap in on the world’s longest hatred and make out that he is the victim and will point at Senator Schumer, the Senior Senator from New York, is Jewish and is voting against the JCPA and ignore the small fact that the journalist, actually White House go to man at the Atlantic, Jeffrey Goldberg, who also happens to be Jewish and is the man of the hour whenever the President or John Kerry or other Administration personnel need to get promising and glowing report into print, they just call Jeffrey Goldberg of The Atlantic newspaper. and the deed is done.

His ineptitude and at times traitorous actions have shamed the United States ever since his treacherous testimony before the Senate accusing his supposed, though never in Kerry’s mind or heart, fellow soldiers equating them with the ruthlessness of Genghis Khan and his opinions have little changed with the years.

 

So, President Obama, let me inquire as to whom it was the Secretary of State Kerry ran to with his tale of woe and despair that we mentioned at the top of our editorial. That’s right, Jeffery Goldberg and out came the long-faced tale of woe and how again John Kerry was forced to carry the weight of the world on his broad shoulders and that his long-face, a genetic thing we assume as he always appears to be deeply sorrowed and long-faced, that aside, Kerry spoke with Jeffrey Goldberg on the record explaining the wondrous Iran deal and then with his long-face he told of the woe as he was not being given the expressions of thanks and lauded for the great deal he snuck into the Iranian crafted deal in such a way as they would never notice, which is largely because he snuck absolutely nothing into the agreement nor overtly insisted on anything in the agreement and bent over backwards and with a long-face all seriously drawn even further he has slogged his way through these tough and harried negotiations without receiving any thanks. Well, I thank you Secretary Kerry as without your tales of woe what ever could I poke so much fun at and we all know that this train of long-faced tales of woe will continue into the future for at least fifteen more ever tedious months. Thank you Secretary John (long-faced) ‘sKerry.’

What the Post Ferguson Riot’s Commentaries Taught Me

 

After having the unpleasant experience of reading a small number of articles through which the reactions from numerous American Jewish rights groups officially released statements, amongst these groups included two statespersons from the ADL (Anti-Defamation League) plus spokespersons from JCPA (Jewish Council for Public Affairs) and AJWS (American Jewish World Service); the commentary from these and other rights groups were virtually interchangeable. The only addition to the Jewish rights groups’ commentary was the addition of mentioning how Jews should be more sensitive to racial injustice due to the historic injustices the Jewish people have faced over the dozens of centuries, an addition which probably was more destructive than it was informative. It is not that the Jews have not suffered from injustices since the times of slavery in Egypt to the current problems facing Jews across many European cities, on campuses throughout the world including within the United States, across the Arab and Muslim worlds, and even within the borders of Israel from terrorist groups and oft even from fellow Jews who have joined those for whom the simple existence of Jews in Israel is sufficient offense in their hearts and minds; it is that such prefacing is unnecessary and even more-so if it is being implemented in order to spur an emotional response from other Jews, as these were general statements which would be published throughout the United States and potentially beyond and as they appeared to separate the Jews from the rest of society and place within them a special ability to be the adjudicators of social justice, an ability based on offenses which the majority of Jews have never experienced, especially in the United States. But what was also a basis for most of these commentaries was the implication that there had been a miscarriage of justice by the grand jury not deciding to indict Officer Darren Wilson in the shooting of Michael Brown on that fateful day in Ferguson, Missouri.

 

What struck me about these virtually identical reactions to the grand jury’s verdict was not so much their refusal to even consider any of the evidence from the investigation but their ability to automatically side with the rioters cause and complaints even as they claimed that the rioting was not an appropriate answer. Then came their broadening their convictions of American society for not having actually made any real progress over the past half a century since the Civil Rights Act was passed in 1964 and the presumption that racism was still rampant across American society. They then went on in many cases to point to particular evidences that such racism was still prevalent which included such items as that black students are suspended or expelled from our public schools at a much higher rate than white students, a higher rate of arrests and convictions and longer jails sentences for black Americans over white Americans, and, as was stated in one commentary, “there are many other examples that show the continuing racial divide.” These cited perceptions give away the progressive liberal perspective which shapes the lens with which these rights groups view the world and how they simply accept every canard which paints American society with a broad brush of having made no progress over the last fifty years despite the glaring evidence that shows a world of change has taken place transforming American society into a virtually post-racial America. The reason these groups refuse to credit the average American and the society they collectively produce with having made any progress is because if progress has been achieved then they have less of a cause celeb with which to bludgeon the social fabric and demand continued funding in huge proportions in order to continue to collect their over bloated salaries and pontificate ponderously at great length about the ills of society which their social engineering will eventually lead the way to an enlightened society. These are the same people and the same perspective which looks across the United States and continues to believe that there has been no progress in combating pollution and feel that the air quality, water quality and the general levels of pollution are identical to what is was fifty years ago. They continue to believe that Los Angeles is smog bound, Denver sits in a brown dome of polluted air, Lake Erie is still choked with nitrates and no fish live within and the Cuyahoga River still catches fire every summer. I guess the correct concept here would be for these people to wake up and smell the roses, even on the banks of the Cuyahoga River which if it is flashing anything it is the bright sunlight through the crisp clean air sparking off the scales of the tiny fish living in that once polluted river.

 

The main realization that came over me was how these same Jewish organizations could continuously protest that they knew best how to resolve the Arab-Israeli conflict if only those Israelis in Prime Minister Netanyahu’s ruling coalition would listen to their sagely wisdoms. These were the same American Jews who agreed with one single idea from the entire eight years during President George W. Bush’s administration; and that was the idea for Israel to pull up every last single Jewish resident, every last IDF and other security forces, every single Jewish business, farm and factory from within the entirety of the Gaza Strip and turn it all over to Arab rule trusting that Mahmoud Abbas would then transform the areas freed of any Jewish influences into the Arab version of Hong Kong or Shanghai. Well, as we all know, that worked out just exactly as predicted, just not how they had predicted and instead became the Hamas run rocket launching and tunnel headquarters financed and armed by Qatar and Iran and dedicated to wiping out Israel and then murdering every Jew on the planet. Now many of these same geniuses are the ones in the fore calling for Israel to repeat this disengagement this time with Judea and Samaria so that the rest of Israel can enjoy the same horrors as Sderot and the Gaza Strip kibbutzim and towns with twenty-four/seven rockets raining down on their lives except this time the rockets will be falling on the most densely populated and industrial heartlands of Israel as well as onto Ben Gurion International Airport really giving President Obama reasons to ban all commercial flights into Israel as well as most of the world joining in on that boycott. Simply put, such an idea would be the fastest way to guarantee either the death of Israel or the final war between Israel and any Arab presence between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea. Such a move would lead within a few short months to an us or them situation leading inexorably to a final war.

 

One might think that there would be a name for people who no matter the evidence they refuse to alter a single iota of their perfect little plan to right all the wrongs in the world. Those who constantly will point out the obvious truth which makes their presentation of these tried and failed ideas worth another go around, that being that they were not the ones entrusted with the reins of power and if they would be trusted, then this time it will work as it should in a perfect world. Never mind that their promise sounds remarkably like the promise made by those who have tried these exact same ideas before when they were the ones promising they could make it work. I think I have figured out what the appeal of making such ridiculous and absurd claims has to be; they have noted that those who made this claim before and failed just as miserably as every other attempt at righting the ills of human societies, those leaders lived extravagantly with every opulence and overindulgence imagined by man and never suffered for want of any sort and were completely removed from the squalor and degradations that they were causing. Perhaps that is their hope for getting it right, that it will be right from their viewpoint and not so much the rest of us. Whatever Pollyannish thinking they try to pass off as eternal wisdom they are selling as the solution, be it for the rioting resulting from the correct verdict reached by the Ferguson grand jury or their solution to the Arab-Israeli conflict, be assured that any prudent and wise person should steer well clear of their suggestions and take a more reasoned route which has proven prudential and workable in the past rather than trust those who claim that if only we let them take charge this time all will be well. Somehow calling these people progressive is almost as absurd as when we referred to them as liberals as they are about as close to libertarian as they are to progress, true and real progress.
