Politics in America Laid Bare

Politics in America has become a naked beast beating its chest and snarling at the election of one of the people, and not one from the political class, to the highest post in the land. The entireties of the Democrat Party in both the House of Representatives and Senate along with the majority of the leftists who support them have been completely unified in their opposition to everything having to do with President Donald Trump. They are opposed to the legality of his being elected. They see conspiracies in everything which caused his winning the election. They believe that there was interference against Hillary Clinton caused and financed by the Russian government and Vladimir Putin resulting in the Trump election. They despise the fact that the Electoral Congress can be permitted to allow the person not receiving the majority of the popular vote to still win the election, let alone by a commanding amount. Equally laid bare is the opposition by many in the heart of the Republican Party other than simply the most liberal, this core of the Republicans led by Senator John McCain, former President George W. Bush, Mitt Romney and seemingly far too many more. What has become apparent to us is that those who believe that the political class is made up of people whom, by their very nature, education, breeding and innate abilities, are better than those over whom they rule. Yes, they believe they have been placed in the government to rule over the remainder of the population and not to represent those who voted for them.

There are reasons as to why they believe they are superior to the general population. Far too many politicians are the children of people who were in politics, worked in the party and whose children are being groomed to follow in their parents privileged footprints. Many politicians were educated in elite private schools and brought up with privilege and from this came away with a feeling of superiority. Others actually came into politics from other areas and occupations but when one gets to Washington D.C. the majority have spent their entire life in the political arena. Spending their entire lives in private schools and then politics never having any interaction with what most would refer to as normal people often referred to as “Joe Six Pack” and have led very sheltered and protected lives. This has led to some politicians believing that they were destined to lead and their positions are a result of their breeding, privileged lives and higher intelligence. Their lives of general comfort and once in Washington ability to be above many laws simply adds to their self-fed-worth. Once in Washington D.C. they are granted freedom from parking tickets and as long as they can claim they were heading to a vote in Congress or some meeting, they are free from traffic violations including speeding. Finally, the largest invulnerability, they cannot be arrested for insider trading which when combined with their inside knowledge of what companies will soon receive huge government contracts signaling them to buy stock or the opposite of a company about to lose a contract which they can sell that stock, the members of Congress often become multi-millionaires within a few short years in Washington D.C.

These not so small differences between the American political class and everyone else are also part of another divide, a social and financial divide. The very wealthy who make the majority of their earnings through investments are almost entirely free from paying income taxes as they earn no income, they receive dividends. These people rub elbows with the political class making the political class feel even further removed from the average Americans. These people share the power over the remainder through campaign contributions, insider trading information, inside information on coming legislations and excessive influence over that legislation shared between each other, and enjoying entertaining evenings with drinks and access, these two classes form seamlessly into the power structure which decide much of the laws and interventions into personal lives which both conspire as they run the government. There is an unspoken agreement between the political class and the elite mega-business with wealth classes in which in exchange for preferential legislation these people of wealth and influence promise not to interfere with politics beyond campaign contributions. These guarantees especially extend not to take the office of any politician by running against them plus leaving the top positions to the political class as they are the only who are trained for these spots in exchange for legislative input. This is the agreement which Donald Trump broke when he ran and won the Presidency.

Now we need to be careful and clear. Nowhere near all politicians have these moral deficiencies whereby they sell out to those with the influence and money to cause legislation to at the least seldom harm their interests. These politicians are often easily recognized as they receive little if any assistance in their reelection efforts by the central party operations. The ones who are completely honest and solely working for their constituents back home as they will very often be opposed in the primary races every reelection effort with the party supporting their challenger. Eventually these politicians will lose their office and everything can return to what the party would refer to as normal. The political class work so closely together that they hold their fellow politicians as cohorts who join them as the ruling elite as more important along with the financial elite who pay for their campaigns, will provide them nice well-paying positions after retirement and with whom they often socialize as the community whom they serve and the voters are simply the rabble they must deal with all too regularly just to retain their pampered positions and their gravy-train lifestyles.

There are two forces opposing President Trump, one Democrat and one Republican. Let us talk about the Republicans first as most of what we say about them also applies to the Democrats. There are a fair number of Republicans who are actually leftists, not simply left-leaning or liberal, but true leftists. They believe in government solutions to every problem they encounter and believe that the closer to the top, to Washington D.C., the more efficient and better planned any solution can be made. Despite theoretical and experimental proof that the best solutions are those devised as locally as possible are the most efficient and the higher any solution is imposed from, the less likely it is that their solutions will be easily or properly applied across the board. Leftists may have conservative or liberal views and still be a leftist as leftists support larger government independent of their political bend. These two separate varieties of leftists will often work together in an I’ll scratch your back and you scratch mine trading support for one another’s legislative efforts. With either one, the people lose as neither cares about political limitations legally placed on the Federal Government by the Constitution. They believe that more government means better governing and governing is good for the people. There is another name for these people other than leftist, it is called fascists. Donald Trump is attempting to reduce government by undoing regulations which he can do without Congress and then working with Congress to reduce government and lower taxes. The Republican leftists who believe that more regulations and more government is better governance are fighting for everything they believe to be holy by fighting against President Trump.

Then there are a number of Republicans who believe that Trump is an interloper, an impostor, somebody completely unfit to be President. Many Democrats and almost all leftists also believe these to be truths. But there is a special group who are particularly put out by the election of President Trump. These are the many people who believe they should have won the Presidency or should have been the candidate to run against Hillary Clinton instead of Donald Trump. Heading this list is Senator John McCain followed closely by Jeb Bush and family, Mitt Romney and a number of the other Republicans who lost in the primaries to Trump as well as other Republicans who simply believe they are far more qualified to hold the office and take President Trump to be a personal insult. Then there are the core Republican power structure who feel they have lost control of their party as President Trump is out of and beyond control. They feel they no longer make the policies and this threatens their lifestyles. Should they no longer be capable of delivering the goods legislatively, then they may find themselves no longer invited to all the right social events. President Trump has done something which we believe is almost fun to watch, he has erased all the rules as to how power and money influence legislation and the distribution of power in politics. For libertarians that just might result in their dreams realized, though somewhat limited extent and for some it will appear a waste as their pet ideas may not be improved by the Trump Presidency.

For the Democrats who have unfortunately sold out to the leftist interest, President Trump in a nightmare. When your party has based its future on government power empowering those who are willing to support their election, then a President devoted to deregulation and limited government is the worst nightmare imaginable. Make that President an in-your-face fool willing to be braggadocios and who makes his responses to your challenges farcical, then his entire existence becomes an offense. This is the source of an echo chamber which has reverberated throughout the terrain of our social media. This has led to people defriending one another and even to break-ups of relationships and even marriages. Remarkably, nobody from BTC has been defriended that we are aware of, but please don’t take that as a challenge, we like all our friends no matter their political bend. So, the Democrats have any of a number of reasons to unite against President Trump from his smaller government plans, his Tweets being particularly unrestrained, and he is not a Democrat. For many Democrats, when it comes to President Trump, there is absolutely nothing to like. As far as many are concerned, Donald Trump is so full of hot air he could be a hot air balloon, or was that hot air buffoon.

Trumps Vehicle to the White House was a Hot Air Balloon Filled With Hot Angry Rhetoric

Trumps Vehicle to the White House was a Hot Air Balloon Filled With Hot Angry Rhetoric

President Trump has revealed the truth; in the United States, there are simply two actual teams, those who are part of the political system and the rest of the American people. Those who wield the political power are in their own little world where they control the lives of the rest of the population and the rest of the population is supposed to simply say thank you for caring for us. The rest of the population, the political class hope, are so busy working and getting through their busy lives that they will hopefully never wake and see that they have been played. Well, thanks to President Trump, many in the American Public now realize what has been happening. The collusion between many in the media, the entertainment and sports enterprises, academia and the political class have worked with other elitists to misrepresent much of what has been the reality coming from their inglorious alliance and how the people have been played for fools much to the amusement of these members of the preferred classes. The worst fear is close to coming to fruition, the people might be awakening and when they do, they might remain alert and use the one thing they have at their disposal, their votes. But there is a salvation for the elites, they control the levers of power and how those who run for office are chosen. Unless people who are honest and desire to take the responsibility for change into their own hands are willing to run for office, then the only candidates will be those who the political parties choose which mean more of the same. Nothing will really change until perhaps the parties themselves are replaced. President Washington warned against political parties believing they would be the end of the republic. How correct he may have been.

Sheer Embarrassment from Washington

What or who can be described as sheer embarrassment from Washington can be answered in so many ways as the national capital is just chock full of embarrassments. Many people have referred to President Trump as the most embarrassing President in history. We might also nominate President Ulysses S. Grant as probably a good candidate to challenge for that title, but for this article, we will grant that there is plenty of potential that might be parlayed into a winning Presidency for the title. We will have to wait and see. But we were not referring to President Trump.

Then there is the media and the, as President Trump refers to it, “Fake news” giving them a run at the title. We know much of the news comes from New York or Los Angeles. Where that may prove true, and we would add Chicago, Philadelphia, Boston and other major cities, but the news, which appears to be most made-up, originates from Washington D.C. We have had our little disagreements with the media for longer than most and much of it with CNN and their reporting on the Middle East and Israel specifically. Even so, we are afraid that it is not the news media we are referring to in this article.

Then there are the reactions to the Presidency of Donald J. Trump from the entertainment direction and some of the most outlandish and outspoken actors and actresses. We have seen such things as a decapitated President, demands to assassinate the President and for assaults on the White House. The entertainment industry has had musicians actually ruin otherwise great performances by injecting political denouncements into their acts. These entertainers, singer, musicians, comedians and others have gone to such extremes that they have also been an embarrassment, but not what we are targeting.

That leaves Congress and they are the group which has gotten our attentions this time. It is particularly the Republicans who are going to receive our attentions. We understand the Democrat Party Congressional representation voting as a single point against the majority of things President Trump has lobbied Congress to pass. President Trump is, to them, the enemy who desires destroying everything they believe and have accomplished over the last eight years under President Barack Obama. Of course, the Democrats will vote against much, if not all, of the Trump agenda and their ability to hold the line unanimously is a credit to their part unity and vote discipline. If the Republicans were as supportive of their President as the Democrats are at opposing the President, then President Trump would be getting things completed and checking them off his to do list, as they would be done. The Republicans do not have that kind of discipline and the reason is basic, their leadership, at best, is conflicted over their support for the President. They are not attempting to hold their people to vote for the Trump agenda, as they do not respect him as their party leader. They view President Trump as an outsider and a one-off who was more lucky than having any political acumen. They do not believe he has earned their respect or the right to lead their party and thus do not feel obligated to work for him as they might one of their own. Their actions are going to cost them when elections come, especially if their electorate lives anywhere between the Appalachian Mountains and the Sierra Nevada Mountains, otherwise called Middle America. These were the people who sent Trump to the White House and they are likely not going to receive their representatives second-guessing their wisdom. This has made the Congress into a do-nothing Congress when the people voted for change and they are not receiving what they demanded.

The two items which the electorate was most eager to see enacted were the repeal of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) and tax reform including across the board tax reductions and simplification of the tax code even if that meant they would lose some presumed precious deductions. The people recognized that Obamacare was nothing more than the means by which the Democrats were attempting to force the enactment of a single-payer healthcare system run by the government and wanted no part of such a system. The people wanted their old system of healthcare returned to them while it was still viable rather than delays until the healthcare insurance industry had failed beyond repair, something which is no more than six months away by many estimates. Unfortunately, there are some core Republican elite members who agree with the left that the best healthcare is government run healthcare and that the people need to be given what these Republican lifetime Congress members believe is best for them, not what the people themselves desire. These lifers think they are more intelligent and wiser than the people they represent. Many of these people, they believe, are incapable of reasoning intelligently will hopefully demonstrate their ability for independent thought and replace these elite politicians who believe themselves to be superior to those they represent. Apparently there are those amongst the most well-known Republicans in Congress who have decided that being a representative of the people does not require representing the people but thinking for the people.

The other issue, tax reform and reduction, has not been given a good run as the Congress decided to run off and take their long Labor Day break, which lasts half of August and September, rather than do their job and address the IRS Code. We are willing to bet that most of the people these clowns represent would like to take three, four or even five weeks off to celebrate what for the regular people, you know, their lessers, get to celebrate as a three day weekend unless they use their vacation days. That is correct. The members of Congress who were unable to deliver on their seven year promise and the number one item they campaigned upon for almost a decade, the repeal of Obamacare, decided they required a month off to recover from their arduous debates and then inability to pass, not one, not two, but any of three different means for repealing Obamacare as promised. There was a reason why they had three different bills which they voted on in one day, rejecting one after the other, but allowing those who desired to oppose President Trump to each at least vote for one of the repeals or even two while making sure that they had sufficient opposition each time so all three would fail. This is an old trick that the members of Congress have pulled nearly forever. They make multiple versions of a bill they have promised to support. Then they all support at least one of the versions while the majority votes down each version. Then they can all go home and tout how they supported the single version they did vote for while disavowing that they voted against the other versions. This is how they deceive without actually being caught in a lie and more often than not the media only check to see if what they stated was true, not whether the spirit of their statement was true. The media and the political elites are all in the same party circles and become friends and friends help one another, that is only normal. Who wants new faces on their party circuit, that means getting used to a whole new person who will need breaking in and being taught how the games are played.

Congress will now get to play games with the tax reform packages. They will have numerous, possibly hard to count versions of tax reform and they will divide up between them how to vote so even the most contemptible Democrat will be able to tell his moneyed supporters how they fought tooth and nail to get them the breaks in the tax code they deserve. It is all about making the lies believable and having the right votes in place to back the lie despite their arranging the votes for just that purpose. We will hear reason after reason as to why there was no tax reform or that the loopholes just could not be removed because other members of Congress worked against your particular representatives in the House and Senate while they worked like dogs trying to make the new tax package more fair. Oh, how they worked themselves to the bone going to all the different Washington parties then showing up to work at the ungodly hour of eleven in the morning and going home at two-thirty so they would miss rush hour and oh the pains they went through. Oh, wait, they will never be that honest. They will try and pass the party which lasted until two in the morning as the time they were working the others in Congress to vote for their package which was just so fair and unblemished. Of course, the rich had too much influence and your attempt to be the super person of the little people failed. The poor Congress critter worked so hard between the events every night of the week.

Now, we will mention that there are the few people in Congress who actually are representing their constituents and the people as a whole, but these are the members who are easy to spot. The first thing is they are rarely in the news and their picture is almost never in the major newspapers. Next, they are the ones who most often have a party plant put against them in their primary and the party does all they can to supplant them and they are always the underdog. Some of these members of Congress are so egregious that they never receive any support from the national party or often the state party and even have their party work against them in the general elections as they feel it is better to have the opposition for one term and then they can run a party line person they can control the next election. If you ever find that you have such a person in the Congress, hold on to them as far too many in Congress are purely party functionaries. They do not represent their constituents; they represent money and party plain and simple. If ever there was a need for such people to be placed in the Congress, the next election is crucial. If it were possible to elect almost all members to Congress who had never been in politics before, that time has arrived if the nation is to be rescued.

There is a reason that the Congress is currently stymied and unable to function and that is being done on purpose. The political machine, and there is only one real political machine and both the Democrat and Republican Parties are parts of a single entity. The machine serves the major industries which have the capital to invest in making sure that each party gets their turn at the big prize, the White House. The machine every so often does manage to lose its iron grasp on the White House and must then rely on the Congress to assure that no real damage is incurred. The election of Donald Trump as President is one of those times that the machine lost the big prize. The fix was supposed to be in and Hillary Clinton was presumed to be the next President once the others, Jeb Bush, Chris Christie, Marco Rubio or even worst-case scenario, Ted Cruz lost and the uncontrollable Donald Trump became the Republican candidate. The machine had not counted on Hillary Clinton as their candidate and was counting on the Republicans to choose wisely, the people refused to be smart, imagine that. The machine had given the Republicans the nod as after eight years of a Democrat, they could read the tea leaves and the leaves indicated the Republican Party had the advantage in the race for the White House. When the Republican candidate turned out to be a rogue from outside the regular field, the machine had no recourse as the Democrats had given them a ham-handed candidate, as flawed as the Republican. They went with the horse they knew and could influence and would play the game; they went with Hillary. Their only hope was to convince the world that Hillary was popular which required her having high polling numbers and looking assured of the win. This may have backfired but that is something we will never know for sure. Now they have to deal with President Trump so the Congress must make sure he does as little damage to those who actually control the government. Let us all hope that they fail at this.

Capitol Cash Machine

Capitol Cash Machine

There is one thing people can do which will pay dividends down the road. If your have a member of the House of Representatives who has been in Washington over ten years, replace them. Once your Senator has served two, three terms at the most, replace them. Washington D.C. has a corrupting influence which taints anybody not raised inside the Capital Beltway as only those raised that close to purgatory are capable of resisting its powers. Those who come from outside soon have their guts torn apart and they are refilled with money and corrupt practices. Every member of Congress and their staffers cannot resist and act any other way because they almost all have lived beyond the normal laws. There is an easy means for telling if your members of Congress have taken the bait and become corrupted, their net worth. If your member of Congress was worth less than two million dollars before going to Washington and now are worth over five and likely twenty million dollars, then vote them out and fast. There is this neat little thing about being in Congress or a staffer; you are not subject to inside trading laws. This means you can buy stock in companies who are about to receive large sums of government contracts before the vote or anybody else knows about this and you can sell your stock in companies being investigated by Congress before the reports come out to the media or before they do not get that contract or their merger will not be approved, all things you know ahead of their actual occurrence. This allows you to trade stocks with great confidence and amass quite a large amount of wealth rather quickly. The catch is once you get onto this gravy train you will be voting your pocket and not your constituents’ pockets. This makes you a liability to your voters and the nation and makes you a bought person. This makes you toxic and you need replacing, period. We believe that most honest Americans would agree with this analysis, so please spread the world and let the people clean up the mess in Washington D.C.

Republicans Need a Real, Honest and True Blue Candidate

The Republican establishment is obviously and understandably troubled about the primaries thus far and the results. There is the obvious problem when Donald Trump, not even a true moderate conservative, takes about the thirty to thirty-five percent or potentially more in the primaries thus far. Then there is Ted Cruz who grabbed second at the Iowa Caucus and will present a problem in many southern and mid-western states even into western states and past the Rocky Mountains. Ted Cruz is also not of their favorite centrist mediocracy. That leaves them bouncing around with their earliest choice of Jeb Bush failing in the early primaries needing to have a large showing in the upcoming South Carolina primary or his candidacy will be in dire straits. The next two hopes for the party elite are John Kasich and Marco Rubio and one had best excite the people sufficiently to become the sole opponent who can take on Trump and press the rest into the background if not out of the race. Ben Carson was a dream which honestly had next to no chance as we discovered with my House of Representatives campaign, the parties make sure that no outsider can break into the top tier as they keep the media concentrating where they desire and never ever will light fall on those not already in the game or wealthy enough to demand a place as that is the sorry case of politics the world over.

Now, making such even more obvious is that only those of the game or of great wealth may play in the political arena thus making all others unacceptable. Carly Fiorina has more management experience than all the candidates with the exception of “The Donald” and did something almost unheard of; she mastered the first debate winning herself a place in the top tier for debate number two. They likely believed that in with tougher competition she would wilt and they would be done with her challenge of the real politicians and actual worthies of high office. Carly Fiorina did not wilt but rather rose to the occasion in the second debate and received some recognition. The opening came in the third debate where her one slightest miscue and the combined accusations repeated and repeated and then came the silence, the dreaded silence from which her candidacy could never return, she was locked out. Now the Republicans are reaping what they sewed. They are stuck with a choice of political mediocracy versus, one fanatical religious moralist and one wealthy, boorish, unhinged faux-conservative and an unexcited base. Donald Trump has cornered approximately one third of the electorate with a fair number being new voters who would simply lose interest as soon as Trump leaves the candidate field. Ted Cruz has another third in the most religious conservatives who also might remain at home come the election if their demanding concerns are not met. The remaining third divided amongst the “mainstream candidates” will only matter if they are whittled down to a single challenger. As long as there is no singular candidate the division changing from one primary to the next leaves the Republican elite in an uncomfortable quandary about whom to promote above the others. That is their problem going forward with their hopes pinned on somebody breaking that stalemate and doing so as soon as possible.

Republican Candidates into South Carolina

Republican Candidates into South Carolina

There is a malady, a malaise if you will, and there are dark forces not the least of which is Iran once again and American hostages and the propaganda showing the United States as bent and broken by the masters of Iran. These Iranian leaders now believe their time to rule all has come. The United States has been humbled before the world once again just as they were in 1979 as United States President Jimmy Carter was stymied and unable to liberate the fifty-two hostages (the names of the hostages can be read here) of the original sixty-six who were captured United States Embassy in Tehran on Nov. 4, 1979, and including three who were at the Iranian Foreign Ministry, the last of which were finally released on Jan. 20, 1981 as the inauguration of Ronald Reagan was scheduled for later that day. At least the most recent incident with the capture of ten Navy seamen and woman did not devolve into an extended hostage crisis leading to months of captivity as the Iranians await the election before deciding whether to continue the crisis or not as in 1979-81 ordeal. Instead the Iranians exploited their time while holding the American Naval service personnel starting with the released pictures and videos of the Americans with their shoes removed, kneeling and hands raised behind their heads with armed Iranian IRGC (Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps) intimidating and despairing them including one video of one sailor in tears. It was later learned that the Iranians had paraded their Hostage Navy personnel through the streets further humiliating them and making a spectacle of their detainment. We could label this President Obama’s hostage crisis which he resolved much faster than had President Carter, but at what price?

The Republican Party elite may be consoling themselves feeling confident whichever candidate comes out the far end of the primary election will very likely be capable of defeating Hillary Clinton as they perceive her to be an easy candidate to defeat and the chosen one of the Democrat Party. They could be wrong on both counts. First off, if his early success in the Democrat primaries is any indication, Bernie Sanders could easily become the Democrat Presidential Candidate as he has drawn the youth vote out in massive numbers, much the same as elected Barack Hussein Obama twice. I am still having difficulty wrapping my arms around twice as if they did not learn. But then again the heirs of Obama’s policies will be out voting for his philosophical cousin, Bernie Sanders, making it appear to be a lack of worldly experience. So, a Bernie Sanders candidate facing the Republican with the same devotion of those too young to be trusted with the office voting for him in droves along with the normative thirty-to-forty percent Democrat voters makes for an impressive obstacle. Truthfully, Hillary (at this point, what difference does it make) Clinton would be a far easier candidate against which the base would come out and vote if for no other reason other than to keep her: abortion at any date even to include ten minutes after giving birth to as much as three weeks afterwards, guns only for the privileged and government, public schools including colleges for all except the elite, and taxes on all but the very poor but never to raise and probably lower capital gains taxes so the rich can remain untouched, kept out of ever walking in the White House other than a guided tour, and strictly checked for stealing more silverware, with the rest of the unwashed. The republicans have to face reality that should anybody other than Trump get the nomination two-thirds of his supporters will remain home disgusted with the process and if Ted Cruz does not get the nomination almost all of his supporters will remain home, and that holds true even for Marco Rubio. If you need proof of what we claim simply walk amongst the denizens of Oklahoma, the second most conservative state and ask the people in Tulsa or Oklahoma City to name the Republicans vying for their support and should it be Trump or Cruz then ask who it is they desire to win and finally ask them which one of Kasich, Rubio or Bush they might support and you will receive your answer.

So, the dilemma simply put. The Trump base will not support any other of those still considered viable and the Cruz base likewise will not support any others and what you have is a wholesale defeat against Clinton who Democrats will vote for even if they must close their eyes and hold their noses making sure not to breath for thirty seconds before pulling that lever and a full minute after. There will be special schools in freediving booked by Democrats simply to master holding their breath. So, your base and best candidates are poison to one third of your base and without them we get four and likely eight years of Clinton or worse, six years and a month of Bernie Sanders as he serves a term and a half after reelection, Socialist with that capital ‘S’ with Hillary as his Vice President and then just the slimmest margin less than a decade of Hillary as President of what is left of the United States. What is it that the Republican base is really seeking? Here is your question Republican elites, what will be the force which can galvanize the party and to be fully and completely supportive and actively campaigning for the candidate and include those Trump supporters as well as the Cruz supporter even if neither end up their choice for Vice President and who if even they pick Chris Christie as their running mate they lose not a single vote or supporter? So, what would such a candidate look like and what qualities should he possess?

Let us build that perfect candidate. First and foremost he has to have a background of some form of personal motivation and business savvy unto which Trump would bow with respect. He would need to be a true through and through conservative whose sweat of their brow would dissolve Roe vs Wade and to whom Cruz would move aside graciously. He would need to be one who in that pivotal moment where he cast all he had ever dreamed of aside for the merit of what Hashem would hold as noble came almost naturally. This person would only not be faulted if he was incapable of walking on water yet many would believe he not only could but has whenever he chose. A military man (and it could also be a woman), as all recognize the need for such as is necessary in these times of great challenge and unbelievable provocations could stand easily in the breach. A candidate whose mere presence on the stage would coerce any moderator to act deferentially and silence even the shrew that is Hillary and make Bernie Sanders be as a cartoonish character on the stage of debate. What it would take is a candidate with an impeccable character, a near perfect past, the respect of people across the political spectrum and an unparalleled grasp of the current impasse which threatens our world and the ability to explain it such that even the slowest of wits could grasp. We have mentioned our choice which is Lieutenant Colonel Allen West. Unfortunately for the Republican Party their elites hate this man so much that they agreed when reapportionment meant Florida lost one Congressional district to divide his district such that it would lose in both districts to Democrats so as to be rid of him and turned down the other plan which still cost them a seat to the Democrats but preferred to retain a solid lead in a seat where the current candidate was retiring but also did not include Allen West’s neighborhood making him ineligible. He ran in the contest in which he resided and necessarily lost just as the elites desired. Morality is a thing not only not revered but accursed to politics. Should a man have honor he will not be controllable and will do as he sees as honorable and correct while the rest will follow directions. Allen west will not follow direction as his life story has proven and his early retirement from the military, though disgraceful for the military, bears out. They claim he broke their rules but he claimed guilt as he did what he did to protect the lives of the men under his charge. Following the ROE (rules of engagement) and ROI (rules of interrogations), he put the lives of his men before his career which was pitch perfect and proper to that one fateful day when he made the career ending choice (read about it here). We are open to others and may one be found acceptable to the Republicans should they reach a brokered convention, something none of the political class desire as it leads to unpredictable results.

Men of Great Stature Reagan, Eisenhower, Allen West

Meanwhile, the Republican Party is adrift with not only no one who knows the path to relevance nor anyone who will unite the many strands of its base but only with candidates who will, out of their actions past and present, alienate one third of their base of support. We have covered this numerous times but why not; once more into the breach we go. Contrary to that which Republican Party elite tell us time and time again, we cannot win unless we get the vote of the enormous middle. The Democrats talk this line up but deny it by the candidates they present which do not chase the middle vote and only ply their wares to grasp their base, as fractured as it may be. As long as a Democrat candidate is accepted by three or so of the many disparate groups, the rest will fall in line as such is what is required so when their candidates run they too are supported. This means that any Democrat needs to hold true to a fair number of beliefs to reap a wide consensus of their base and cruise on to victory. Republicans need one who can light the imagination and gracefully support the mainstays of the Party and be sufficiently conservative that they satisfy the purists that the entirety of the base comes out and supports them. Thus was the now immortalized Ronald Reagan, though he began his life as a Democrat and Unionist, and before him the man responsible for winning the War in Europe, General Dwight David Eisenhower. Both were men of courage and ideas and there are but a few born to every decade and it is up to the public to find such men and follow their lead. For the record, the “Reagan” Democrats were actually the extremes of the Conservative base which underpins the Republican Party. The extreme conservatives who voted that year along with the more socially moderates who voted that year were still largely not normative leftist Democrat Party supporters. They may have been had the Republican placed Pat Buchanan or other paleo-conservative on the ballot on the top spot as they would be unable to couch such a person as President. Such a choice would scare that end of the party and they would likely remain home. Still, there is not a single candidate left in the contest rigged by the party elites who could gather the entirety of the Republicans across their span and have them appear at the polls and without the base you lose, something the Democrats understand and the Republicans constantly claim is beyond their ability as they always for the most squishy of conservatives attempting to grab that middle and least left Democrats, two targets where the first does not exist and the other is too well trained to stray from their posts in supporting their party, period. Again the Republican elites have decided to field a candidate they are comfortable in having and ignoring the desires of most of the base in exchange for the chimera of the soft middle voters, a phantasm which exists only in the minds of the foolish and the delusional and through who elections have been lost for generations past and to come as they will never learn that which they refuse to believe actually exists. These New England conservatives, people who would be leftist outcasts in Oklahoma or Wyoming, cannot begin to fathom the depth of voters so conservative as to be beyond their understanding which is why they lose election after election for the Presidency which actually includes the flyover states, imagine that.
